PHOENIX (AP) Orlando Arcia and Will Middlebrooks hit two-run homers for the Milwaukee Brewers in a 11-2 win against the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Wednesday.
Arcia, the Brewers' top prospect, is scheduled to being the season at Triple-A Colorado Springs. He homered off Austin Schulfer.
Middlebrooks, at spring training with a minor league contract, connected two batters later. Middlebrooks also had an RBI single in the first inning.
Shane Peterson hit two-run double in a fourth-run seventh for the Brewers.
Junior infielder Eric Solberg had two of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's six hits and drove in both runs for the Panthers.
Brewers starter Taylor Jungmann struck out two in one inning, one of nine Milwaukee pitchers to throw an inning each.
