Mexico City, Mexico (SportsNetwork.com) - America overcame a one-goal deficit to win 3-2 on aggregate against Toluca following a 2-0 second-leg win at home on Sunday.
America will now face Leon in the final after Leon's 5-3 aggregate win against Santos, with America visiting Leon in the first leg on Dec. 12.
Aquivaldo Mosquera's header after 12 minutes put America in front and leveled the semifinal on aggregate, 2-2.
Jesus Molina then scored on a header six minutes from time to send America to the final, while Toluca had Sinha sent off in the 88th minute to cap a disappointing evening.
Leon put the finishing touches on its semifinal victory against Santos with a 2-2 second-leg draw that gave the club a 5-3 aggregate win.
After winning the first leg 3-1 at home, Leon found itself in a great position entering the second leg.
Oribe Peralta gave Santos the lead 51 minutes into the second leg, but goals from Mauro Boselli and Carlos Rodriguez helped Leon coast home before a late penalty kick from Juan Rodriguez pulled a goal back for Santos.
