Jozy Altidore scored two second-half 0, on Sunday at AFAS Stadion in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Altidore, who joined AZ from Villarreal this offseason, scored his second and third goals of the young season. The U.S. striker scored on 54 minutes and was on target again in the 73rd.

Rasmus Elm and Niklas Moisander also scored for AZ, which won for the second time in three matches to open the season. NEC lost its first of the season to go with a win and a draw.

Venlo 2, Ajax 2

Venlo, Netherlands - Theo Janssen and Kolbeinn Sigthorsson scored in a one- minute stretch of the second half as Ajax rallied for a 2-2 draw against Venlo at De Koel on Sunday in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Ahmed Musa fired a brace in the opening 15 minutes of the second half to stake Venlo to the two-goal lead, but Janssen scored on 68 minutes and Sigthorsson added another goal less than a minute later.

Ajax remained unbeaten with two wins and a draw, while Venlo earned its second draw against one loss.

PSV Eindhoven 3, Den Haag 0

Den Haag, Netherlands - Dries Mertens, Georgino Wijnaldum and Ola Toivonen all scored in the first half and PSV Eindhoven defeated Den Haag, 3-0, on Sunday at Kyocera Stadion in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Mertens opened the scoring in the 20th, and Wijnaldum and Toivonen tacked on goals before the 40-minute mark to seal PSV's second win of the young season.

Den Haag remained winless with two losses and a draw.

Heracles 1, Feyenoord 1

Almelo, Netherlands - Guyon Fernandez scored in the 78th minute and Feyenoord tied Heracles, 1-1, on Sunday at Polman Stadion in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Glynor Plet opened the scoring in the 63rd for Heracles, but Feyenoord leveled the match 15 minutes later to remain unbeaten with two wins and a draw through three matches.

Heracles is also unbeaten with a win and two draws early this season.
