Boston Celtics guard Ray Allen returned to the starting lineup Wednesday against San Antonio after missing six games because of an ankle injury.
Allen was hurt during a March 12 game against the Los Angeles Clippers and played the ensuing five contests. He hadn't played since March 22 against Milwaukee. The Celtics posted a 5-1 mark in his absence and have taken the lead in the Atlantic Division.
Allen is averaging 14.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 41 games this season.
