Arkansas quarterback Brandon Allen is finally healthy and eager to prove to the Southeastern Conference that he's better than his first go-around as a starter.
The junior's quest for redemption will begin in earnest when the Razorbacks report for preseason practice on Sunday. They'll take the field a day later, eager to shake any hangover from last season's winless march through the SEC.
Arkansas was 3-9 last season, losing its final nine games while Allen struggled through a shoulder injury that limited him to one practice per week.
The quarterback completed just 49.6 percent of his passes last season, but he's excited to show what he can do when healthy this year.
The Razorbacks open their season at Auburn on Aug. 30.
