Lasse Schone and Jody Lukoki scored in the second half and Ajax remained undefeated in the Eredivisie with a 2-0 win over previously unbeaten RKC Waalwijk on Saturday at the Amsterdam ArenA.
Schone opened the scoring in the 52nd minute and Lukoki sealed a third win to go with two draws to begin the season. RKC had two wins and two draws in its first two matches.
Ajax opens Champions League play Tuesday at Borussia Dortmund in the "Group of Death." Real Madrid and Manchester City meet in the other match in the group.
Robbert Schilder scored a brace as Twente continued its perfect start with a 6-2 win over Willem II at Willem II Stadion. Twente has five wins from as many matches and leads the league. Willem II is still winless.
Also Saturday, Rydell Poepon, Jens Toornstra and Tjaronn Chery scored in the first half as Den Haag defeated winless Heerenveen, 3-1, Nwofor Uche scored a second-half brace as winless Venlo earned a 2-2 home draw against NEC at De Koel, and Feyenoord downed winless Zwolle, 2-0.
