TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) The Arizona Cardinals had to wait for hours to make their lone Friday pick in the NFL draft. They figured to be a lot busier in the draft's final day on Saturday.
And general manager Steve Keim says he's confident that players can be found who will become important parts of a team already expected to be a contender.
Cornerback Brandon Williams of Texas A&M was chosen by Arizona late in the third round Friday night. The Cardinals didn't have a second-round pick. It was sent to New England as part of the trade that brought Chandler Jones to Arizona.
The Cardinals enter the final day with a fourth-round pick, two in the fifth round and one in the sixth. They don't have a seventh-round choice.
