Robinho will be sidelined three to four weeks with a thigh injury suffered in the Serie A opener for AC Milan on Sunday, the Italian club announced Tuesday.
Robinho, 28, was injured in the second half of a 1-0 loss to Sampdoria at the San Siro, and was forced to come out of the match.
The Brazilian forward will miss Serie A action against Bologna, Atalanta, and Udinese and could miss the start of Champions League play in mid-September. AC Milan begins the Champions League group stage September 18-19.
