Nine-time Le Mans champion Tom Kristensen says he will retire from racing at the end of the month.
The 47-year-old Dane, one of the greatest endurance racers of all time, says he feels he has "crossed the finish line."
Kristensen says his last race will be the Six Hours of Sao Paulo in Brazil on Nov. 30.
Kristensen earned his first 24 Hours of Le Mans victory in 1997. He then won six straight from 2000-05, taking him past the six-win record held by Belgian driver Jacky Ickx. He added two more wins in 2008 and 2013.
He has also has won the Sebring 12 Hours six times.
