Chuck Norris’ death inspires tributes as Sylvester Stallone, Jean-Claude Van Damme lead Hollywood reactions

Celebrities are mourning the death of iconic actor and martial artist Chuck Norris.

Sylvester Stallone starred alongside Norris in "The Expendables 2" and shared a photo of their time on set.

"I had a great time working with Chuck," his caption on Instagram began.

"He was All American in every way. Great man and my condolences to his wonderful family," Stallone concluded.

ACTOR AND MARTIAL ARTIST CHUCK NORRIS DEAD AT 86

Jean-Claude Van Damme also took to Instagram to share a tribute to Norris.

"Deepest condolences on the passing of my friend, Chuck Norris. We knew each other from my early days, and I always respected the man he was. My heart and prayers are with his family. He will never be forgotten," Van Damme wrote.

President Donald Trump reacted to Norris' death, telling reporters that the action star "was a great guy."

"Wow. A really good, tough cookie," Trump said. "You didn't wanna fight him! He was a great supporter. Wow. That's too bad."

Former President George W. Bush also shared a statement after Norris' death.

"Laura and I are saddened by Chuck Norris’s passing. He was a legend in Texas and beyond. Through his foundation and his example, he made a huge difference in the lives of young people by instilling character and discipline through martial arts," Bush began. "It was said that when Chuck Norris entered a room, he didn’t turn the lights on; he turned the dark off. Laura and I are fortunate to have called him a friend, and we send our sympathy to his family."

Christie Brinkley took to Instagram to remember her times with Norris in "The Total Gym."

"Bringing me on board was his idea ..and I’m forever grateful to have been a part of such a successful enterprise. And we had lots of fun along the way shooting in a variety of vacation hot spots around the country," Brinkley began.

Brinkley said that Norris was a "real family man" and would bring his wife on set sometimes or talk on the phone with his family.

"Between takes we would get him to tell us Bruce Lee stories and his adventures in Russia and we’d laugh at the Chuck Norris jokes. We often joked about the fact that I was a delegate for Al Gore and he was George Bush’s pick as his favorite celebrity," she continued.

Brinkley concluded, "We’d say we don’t agree politically but we can both agree on the Total Gym. Actually… Chuck Norris was a Total GEM …of a sweet human being. To his family that he was so proud of I’m sending my heartfelt sympathy and love."

Lorenzo Lamas took to X and wrote, "My prayers to Gina, Aaron and family. Watch out evil world, there is an angel of consequence at the gates. Chuck Norris doesn’t just get wings, he gets even."

Mario Lopez also posted a statement to X, writing, "Chuck Norris didn't die, he just completed his mission & went to rest… #RestWellLegend."

Dolph Lundgren shared a photo with Norris on Instagram to honor the late star.

"Chuck Norris is the champ. Ever since I was a young martial artist and later getting into movies, I always looked up to him as a role model. Someone who had the respect, humility and strength it takes to be a man. We will miss you, my friend," Lundgren captioned the photo.

Bruce Lee's family took to X and honored Norris with a photo of the duo and a simple message of, "Rest In Peace."

Donny Osmond shared several photos with Norris and a sweet memory of the late star teaching him karate.

"Heartbroken to hear of Chuck Norris’s passing. In the early ‘70s, Elvis introduced my brothers and me to Chuck to add karate — including teaching me how to break boards — to our act in order to put forth a tougher onstage image," Osmond’s post on X began.

"He taught us Tang Soo Do and pushed us to be stronger in every way. Tough in training, but one of the kindest souls you could ever know. I’ll always be grateful. Rest well, my friend," he concluded.

Kevin Sorbo wrote on X: "Heartbroken to hear of the passing of Chuck Norris. A good man, a great friend, and a legend in his own time. Rest in peace."

Sheree J. Wilson, Chuck Norris’ co-star on "Walker, Texas Ranger," told Fox News Digital she has "shed too many tears" after the star's passing.

"I loved and adored Chuck, and we had the BEST working relationship that filled my heart with such joy just going to the set and working with him and my beautiful cast members daily. We shared and lived so much of life together over the nine years," Wilson began.

"I feel so deeply for his family because they were everything to him. Also, when you have a work family your heart and soul don't know the difference. It's with such deep respect and profound gratitude that I got to play with him for all those years. We lost a legend and a dear friend!" she concluded.

Early Friday morning, Norris' family shared a statement online confirming his death.

"It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning. While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace," the post states.

"To the world, he was a martial artist, actor, and a symbol of strength. To us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, an incredible brother, and the heart of our family. He lived his life with faith, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to the people he loved. Through his work, discipline, and kindness, he inspired millions around the world and left a lasting impact on so many lives.

"While our hearts are broken, we are deeply grateful for the life he lived and for the unforgettable moments we were blessed to share with him. The love and support he received from fans around the world meant so much to him, and our family is truly thankful for it.

"To him, you were not just fans, you were his friends. We know many of you had heard about his recent hospitalization, and we are truly grateful for the prayers and support you sent his way. As we grieve this loss, we kindly ask for privacy for our family during this time. Thank you for loving him with us."

After his honorable discharge from the U.S. Air Force in 1962, he opened a martial arts studio, which later expanded into a chain of studios attended by the likes of Steve McQueen, Priscilla Presley and Bob Barker. McQueen, he once said, was responsible for getting him into acting.

His first appearance was a small, uncredited role in 1968's "The Wrecking Crew," and he appeared in a handful of films in the early ‘70s while he was also competing in martial arts. After retiring from competitive karate in 1974, he wasn't sure about his next move, but McQueen suggested he step further into Hollywood.

He went on to act in more than 20 movies, such as "Missing in Action," "The Delta Force" and "Sidekicks."

In 1993, he took on his most famous role as a crime-fighting lawman in TV's "Walker, Texas Ranger." The show ran for nine seasons, and, in 2010, then-Gov. Rick Perry awarded him the title of honorary Texas Ranger. The Texas Senate later named him an honorary Texan.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Gena O'Kelley, sons Mike, Eric and Dakota and daughters Danilee and Dina.

Sylvester Stallone reveals grueling ‘Rocky’ prep: ‘If you want it to feel real, you have to live it’

Sylvester Stallone on Wednesday shared the grueling, body-punishing work it took to make the fight scenes in "Rocky" look like the real thing.

"Before Rocky ever stepped into the ring on screen, there were hours like this," the 79-year-old wrote on his Instagram while sharing a video that showed Stallone and Apollo Creed actor Carl Weathers working out their boxing choreography.

"Repetition. Footwork. Timing," he added. "Getting hit and getting back up. I wrote the script in 3½ days, but the physical work took months. Nothing about it was accidental. If you want it to feel real, you have to live it."

In the throwback video, Stallone and Weathers are figuring out each punch and fall, with Stallone saying to his costar of the titular character, "So, I’m a little hurt. You’ve got me stung with the jabs."

He then throws himself against the ropes after Weathers gives him a fake punch, telling his costar he needs to be closer to the edge of the ring because he wants to "fly into the ropes" and grab his hand around them when he falls.

"These ropes are like guitar wires," he joked.

"Left, right," he told Weathers where to throw his punches before launching himself 180 degrees against the ropes again.

"Now, I’m going to hang," Sylvester continued, explaining the camera should be positioned low to see Rocky from the perspective of the ground. "When he gets up, the bell rings. Carl raises his hand."

He then explained that Rocky should get picked up by his team and have water thrown on his face and be told, "‘Why didn’t you take bookkeeping in high school?’"

Weathers then pulls more punches at him, with Stallone advising the late "Happy Gilmore" actor, "You’ve got me hurt" and to "throw left, then right" before Stallone hurls himself to the ground.

Stallone then continued to direct Weathers on what jabs to take, joking, "Beat me! Beat me! I love it!" before he finally gets a couple of his own punches in, and the two fall down laughing."

Stallone received a flood of praise from fans in the comments on the commitment to his first role, including comedian David Spade who wrote, "V cool."

Last month, Stallone shared a post of himself at the gym admitting he hadn’t been in one "in a long time."

"Its kind of like, in a way, a sanctuary, a church. We pray to get better, to feel better physically, so, you have the strength to arrive at your goals really confident and ready to face any challenge," he said.

He added in the caption, "Every year it gets harder and harder, but that’s why you gotta push harder and harder. blood sweat and tears."

"Rocky" won three Oscars in 1977 for best picture, best director and best film editing, and Stallone was nominated for best actor and best original screenplay.

While filming "Rocky IV," which came out in 1985, Stallone broke ribs during his legendary fight scene with costar Dolph Lundgren.

"I didn’t know it happened. We were both getting hit in that fight," Lundgren told "Fox & Friends" last year. "We shot for two weeks in Vancouver, and I got back to L.A. … The producer called and said, ‘Hey, Dolph, you got two weeks off.’ I said, ‘That’s great, what’s going on?’ ‘Sly’s in the hospital.’ I found out that way."

Lundgren, who played Russian powerhouse Ivan Drago, admitted the news took him by surprise.

"I did feel a little guilty. You know, he hit me too. He was the boss. I did what he told me, which was good. Go really hard with the body, you know those Russian uppercuts. I don’t know if it was my body or exhaustion or my punches. I don’t know, but he did get hurt. I’m sorry about that," he said.

Sylvester Stallone isn’t showing signs of slowing down.

The "Rocky" icon, 79, stunned fans over the weekend after showing off his muscular physique in a new gym video.

"I haven’t done a video from the gym in a long time," Stallone said with a laugh in the Instagram clip. "In a way, it’s kind of like a sanctuary, a church."

Fans were quick to show admiration for the "Creed" star after he spoke out about his health and fitness.

The "Tulsa King" star’s fitness post comes after he opened up about how Hollywood once wrote him off entirely.

"For almost a decade, I couldn’t find work," he said during an interview with AARP.

"Nobody wanted me after 'Cop Land.' Even my agents," Stallone told the outlet. "I was fired from CAA. My personal manager at the time let me go. He said, 'I can’t do anything for you. Nobody really wants you anymore.' And I go, 'How’d this happen?' I was told these studios feel as though you’re not what you were."

The "Rocky" star continued to share the challenges he faced in Hollywood.

"But there I am, 60 years old, and the previous one, 'Rocky V,' was an abject failure. So, the original producers didn’t want to do the sixth film, 'Rocky Balboa,'" he said. "They said, basically, 'Over our dead bodies.' Even my wife was going, 'I don’t know if it’s such a good idea.'"

Despite the pushback, Stallone continued to fight on.

Sylvester Stallone is reflecting on his relationship with his parents.

The 79-year-old star spoke about the success of "Rocky," which won three Academy Awards – including best picture – during a recent interview with CBS News.

Looking back on his triumphant night in 1977, Stallone admitted that initially winning felt like "a volcanic moment, and then it was very sad." He went on to share that his parents chose not to attend the ceremony, despite the fact that the film, which Stallone wrote and starred in, had been nominated for 10 awards.

"You want people that you love that denied you – now you're here, you're at the Oscars, and they don't want to go," he said, as he started getting emotional. "You realize that, at that moment, that you're never ever going to come to terms with this. And it's like, what more do you need? Really, what f---ing more do you need to do to say, 'I'm here. I did this.'"

Earlier in the interview, the actor shared that when his parents got divorced when he was 11 years old, he went to live with his father, who was described in the interview as "emotionally and physically abusive."

Stallone explained that living with his dad "was hard to navigate," especially for a "rebellious" kid like himself. He said he came to expect beatings, adding: "My father, when he used to whistle, I knew it was coming."

"Parents should really wise up. Kids are the same as soft clay. They really are. You mold them, and you dent them, and you hurt them, or you drop them off the table, and they're not the same shape anymore," he said. "I still walk around with it. And I wish I couldn't. And I pray, and I do everything, but it's always there."

He admitted there is "always some residual thing there" stemming from the hurt he felt from his parents, even though he sees himself as "a tough guy."

Not only is he a tough guy in real life, he has also played his fair share of tough guys on screen. He is currently filming the fourth season of his hit Paramount + action series, "Tulsa King."

During an interview with Fox News Digital in September, Stallone said hearing he would receive the honor was "a shock and revelation," adding it was never he expected, "and now I don't know what to do."

Sylvester Stallone and wife, Jennifer Flavin, are fully embracing life outside of Hollywood.

During an interview with Fox News Digital at Sunday's 48th Kennedy Center Honors, Flavin — who accompanied her famous husband while walking the red carpet at the Kennedy Center Opera House in Washington, D.C.— said the move from L.A. to Florida has done wonders for their family.

"I'm having the time of my life. I feel like it's been a rebirth for our family," Flavin said. "Since my entire family moved to the East Coast, we're having such a great time. It's new friends, new adventures, really great people. I've met some incredible friends that I never had in L.A. Sly and I are so enjoying our time there."

Stallone's response to living in Florida? "A lot more perspiration," he told Fox News Digital.

"After long, hard consideration, your mother and I have decided, time to move on and leave the state of California permanently, and we’re going to go to Florida," Stallone told his three daughters: Scarlet, Sistine and Sophia – referring to his wife of 27 years.

He added, "We're gonna sell this house. We already have the place, it's a done deal."

During an interview with Fox News Digital in September, the "Tulsa King" star stated that the lifestyle in Florida is a much better fit for his personality than life in Los Angeles.

"I love it," Stallone said of Florida.

President Donald Trump welcomed actors, country music stars and entertainment industry titans to kick off the 48th Kennedy Center Honors Sunday.

While walking the red carpet with first lady Melania Trump, the president admitted he wanted to remain "a little bit loose" for his hosting responsibilities.

"Maybe I haven't prepared," Trump quipped when asked how he organized his speech for the gig. "Maybe you want to be a little bit loose."

Sylvester Stallone, George Strait and Kelsey Grammar were just a few of the Hollywood heavyweights to walk the red carpet at the Kennedy Center Opera House in Washington, D.C.

It was date night at the esteemed event as "Rambo" star Sylvester Stallone was accompanied by Jennifer Flavin, his wife of 28 years.

While speaking to Fox News Digital at the gala, Stallone said the honor was "completely unexpected."

"This is the ultimate. This is completely unexpected. This is an award that I didn't even see coming. I really didn't," Stallone said before admitting he debated even accepting the award.

"I think that I've been rewarded so much in my life. Look at my trophy here and my daughters," he said while gazing at his wife. "I'm serious, I'm not joking."

He continued, "If there's one thing that the film business – they get a lot of awards. I look at people that live in the shadows – firemen, doctors – and I go, ‘Wow. That’s amazing. You save lives.' We pretend to save lives."

Country music icon George Strait sported his signature black cowboy hat as he ushered wife Norma Strait down the red carpet at the gala event.

The award-winning musician, who earned 60 chart-topping singles throughout his illustrious career, smiled while posing with his family.

Speaking to Fox News Digital ahead of Saturday's dinner, Grammer, who was accompanied by his daughter Faith, called Trump "extraordinary."

"I think he's extraordinary. He's one of the greatest presidents we've ever had. Maybe the greatest. There are some things he still wants to get done, and I think that's terrific, but there was a big hill to climb," Grammer said.

"And we were left with some very interesting things going on," he concluded.

The "Cheers" star also touched on Stallone being honored during this year's ceremony and said he's "over the moon" about it.

Grammer said it was "about time" that Stallone was honored.

During the ceremony, Trump appointed each honoree with a newly designed medal – a gold disc featuring the Kennedy Center image, which was donated and created by jeweler Tiffany & Co.

Dolph Lundgren is looking back at one of the most famous behind-the-scenes moments from "Rocky IV."

He recently confessed he still feels guilty for breaking Sylvester Stallone’s ribs during their legendary fight scene.

The action star was candid when asked during an appearance on "FOX & Friends" if he felt responsible for the accident, which happened during one of the film’s most brutal sequences.

"I didn’t know it happened, we were both getting hit in that fight," Lundgren said. "We shot for two weeks in Vancouver, and I got back to L.A. … the producer called and said, ‘Hey, Dolph, you got two weeks off.’ I said, ‘That’s great, what’s going on?’ ‘Sly’s in the hospital.’ I found out that way."

Lundgren, who played the Russian powerhouse Ivan Drago, admitted the news took him by surprise.

"I did feel a little guilty, you know, he hit me too. He was the boss, I did what he told me, which was good. Go really hard with the body, you know those Russian uppercuts. I don’t know if it was my body or exhaustion or my punches, I don’t know, but he did get hurt. I’m sorry about that," he said.

Before stepping into the role of Ivan Drago, Lundgren was following a very different path — one rooted in academics and engineering. He was a Fulbright Scholar studying at MIT.

But his path to stardom took a turn when he crossed paths with some of New York’s biggest names.

Lundgren explained how his career started with a chance encounter that led him to Hollywood.

"I was in New York, and I went out with this singer. I ended up going to [Studio] 54, meeting Andy Warhol, Michael Jackson and a few other people. I did some modeling, and then somebody said, ‘You should try acting,' because I was a karate champion in Europe," Lundgren continued to share on "FOX & Friends."

The Swedish-born actor landed his first big role in "Rocky IV" and quickly cemented his place in the action-movie pantheon.

"And one film I went up for was a boxing movie, it turned out to be ‘Rocky IV.’ I moved to Hollywood, I met Sly, and got that part and the rest was history. It’s been like 95 films since, it has been a great ride."

Despite a career that spans nearly 100 films, Lundgren told "FOX & Friends" his favorite role to date was revisiting Ivan Drago in "Creed II." The film allowed him to explore a new side of his character in a father-son dynamic with Viktor Drago.

"I like ‘Creed II’ actually," Lundgren said. "I got a chance to play that character again — an older version, kind of a father-son relationship. I like that one."

From screen fights to spirits, Lundgren recently launched his brand, Hard Cut Vodka.

The actor-turned-entrepreneur said he was inspired to create his own vodka after years of dissatisfaction with what was on the market.

"Five years back, I couldn’t find a vodka I liked, so my wife said, ‘You should make your own — you’re a chemical engineer. You’ve played a Russian a few times, you’re from Sweden.’ I started that journey, and now here we are," he explained.

Sylvester Stallone is getting candid about the struggles he experienced throughout his career.

In a recent interview with AARP, the 79-year-old actor discussed feeling like Hollywood had abandoned him, noting that "for almost a decade, I couldn’t find work."

He recalled going to his former agent who was in charge of Universal Studios at the time and telling him, "Please, I'll take anything," and hearing, "I’ll try to help you, but it’s not up to me" in response.

Despite being told his "time has passed" and that his "genre is over," Stallone didn't give up. "I wanted to go back to 'Rocky,'" Stallone recalled, calling it his "safe place."

A chance encounter with a film producer while on vacation in Mexico led to the making of the successful fifth film in the Rocky franchise, which put Stallone back on the map. He went on to write and star in two more "Rambo" films, "The Expendables" franchise and reprised the role of Rocky Balboa in the "Creed" films.

The first Rocky film helped launch his film career and earned him Oscar nominations for best original screenplay and best actor. When speaking about one of his more iconic characters, Rambo, Stallone said he can identify with him due to his difficult childhood.

"I feel closer to Rambo than Rocky in many ways because he’s a scorned child," he explained. "He’s rejected by America, his parent. 'I did everything you wanted me to do, but I wasn’t good enough. And I came back, and you want to bury me.' So, I would fill Rambo with over-the-top violence."

He has previously spoken about his violent childhood, saying in his 2023 Netflix documentary, "Sly," that he "was raised by a very physical father" and that he "was no stranger to serious pain." He went on to explain that, through his many experiences, his mindset "just became, ‘I’m not gonna break.’"

During his interview with AARP, Stallone bluntly shared, "My mother didn’t want me," calling her "a narcissist with a borderline personality disorder" who hated affection and never gave any.

"She never hugged me, my brother — forget a kiss," he said. "My father certainly was not prepared to be a father. They really didn’t want children, and they had them and thought, ‘So how do we get rid of them?’"

Stallone also discussed his complicated relationship with his parents during an episode of Sean Hannity's Fox Nation series, "Sean."

"Today, people would have been arrested, but in one part. .. I have the ability to channel that," Stallone said. "And that's why I think I'm successful because I understand rejection. I understand hardship, I understand fear and if my father couldn't break me, nobody was going to break me. ... I know what it's like to live on the dark side."

The "Samaritan" star described himself as "disruptive" but found a passion for art and later "got into acting by accident." Despite the stage being somewhere he felt comfortable, getting casting directors to hire him proved to be difficult.

Stallone came to the conclusion that "acting is 97% guaranteed unemployment" and came to the realization that he "was never going to make it as an actor," unless he was content just playing "the second goon." It was at this point that he "decided to learn about writing."

"I was terrible. I mean, I still, today, don’t know what a pronoun is. I’m just still working on a verb. It’s an action word, right? Because it doesn’t matter in screenwriting," he told AARP. "When you’re writing dialogue, the way you speak is as personal as your fingerprints. I just had that ear. So, my point is, I knew I was going to be a thug, and then an older thug and then an unemployable thug. But maybe, instead, I could write a story about a thug who is not a thug. He’s really quite a broken man, kind, and just realizes he’s a failure."

When speaking about the enduring success of the Rocky franchise, Stallone told Fox News Digital in December 2023 he believes the film resonates because everyone can relate to it.

"There are certain conundrums, issues, problems, journeys, challenges that everybody from every country, every culture has to face," he said. "And they may be somewhat different, but they usually deal with the same kind of — ‘I just want to achieve something. I want people to be proud of me. I want to raise a family. I want to support my daughter.’ It’s this kind of fear or [thinking] I’m really nobody inside. People look at me, but, on the inside, I feel weak and shallow. That’s what the character was."

The actor currently stars in the Paramount + series, "Tulsa King," and also appears in the reality show, "The Family Stallone," alongside his wife, Jennifer Flavin, and his daughters, Sophia, 29, Sistine, 27, and Scarlet, 23.

Sylvester Stallone isn’t afraid of much, but going head-to-head with this Hollywood star on screen made the "Rocky" legend sweat.

In a candid interview, Stallone admitted he felt the heat when Samuel L. Jackson signed on to join Season 3 of "Tulsa King."

"When I heard that was gonna happen, I went, 'Oh, this is gonna be a fist fight. This is gonna be a battle,’" Stallone told People. "Like two boxers in a ring, and who is gonna throw the first punch? So you’re getting nervous because you’re dealing with serious competition."

"Once he walks in, he goes, ‘Hey, dude brother,’ and I went, ‘Oh, here it goes.’ But now we’re good. Now we’re flowing," Stallone shared. "We could do a show called ‘Tulsa King and Buddy.’ We just worked that well together."

Despite the two sharing the same zip code for decades, they had never worked together — or even really crossed paths.

"We lived about a hundred yards away from each other for almost 30 years," Stallone revealed. "Yet we didn’t — you know, we’re always working. So, we never really saw each other, except at Planet Hollywood-type things or openings."

And though "Tulsa King" is the latest win in a legendary career, Stallone admitted he still looks back on his rise to fame with a sense of disbelief and some regret.

"That journey — I wish I had been more aware," he reflected. "But you're just trying to survive. You're not even aware of the chaos around it, because I said, ‘I've got to do this.’ I told myself, ‘You’re probably not going to make it, but I don’t want you to have any damn regrets. You have to go 100%, not 99.'"

During an interview with Fox News Digital, the "Tulsa King" star stated that the lifestyle in Florida is a much better fit for his personality than life in Los Angeles.

"I love it," Stallone said of Florida.

In 2021, the "Rambo" actor purchased a sprawling $35.4 million home in Palm Beach, according to the Palm Beach Daily News.

Stallone’s Palm Beach home sits on approximately 1.5 lakefront acres, facing over 250 feet of beach with a dock, per the outlet.

Flavin spoke with Fox News Digital at the inaugural "Rocky Day" celebration in December 2023 about the couple’s relocation, saying, "It’s an incredible move, I have to say I’m really happy with our move and our change."

"I was born and raised there, two of our kids were born there, but now everyone’s out, our daughters moved to the East Coast … so there wasn’t really anything left for me in California," she continued. "A few of our best friends also moved, so I think it’s [a] good change, just making new friends, living a totally different lifestyle, I love it, I’m really happy."

She wasn’t alone in her desire for a fresh start.

In the opening scenes of his Netflix documentary, "Sly," Stallone spoke about the decision to move, saying it was beneficial to his creativity.

Sylvester Stallone is still in shock after receiving a Kennedy Center honor for doing work he would "do for free" if he had to.

The "Tulsa King" star told Fox News Digital that receiving this prestigious award was never something he planned for himself.

"I try to put it into words. It's such a shock and revelation. It's something I didn't expect, ever. And now I don't know what to do," he said.

Stallone explained that he's in the process of writing a book, "How Rocky Happened: 1969 to the Oscars," and has been going down memory lane, remembering all the "insanity" that came from filming the famed "Rocky" movies.

"When you get this Kennedy Center honor, it's just something I still, at this age, can't fathom that you actually get a prize for what you do that you would do for free. You know what I mean? In August, President Donald Trump announced the stars set to be honored at the highly anticipated ceremony in December. Aside from Stallone, the honorees this year are country legend George Strait, rock band KISS, English actor Michael Crawford and iconic singer Gloria Gaynor, known for her hits, including "I Will Survive."

Trump, now chairman of the Kennedy Center, is ramping up efforts to reshape the honors program — pushing for a glitzier, star-studded celebration.

"The 48th Kennedy Center Honorees are outstanding people, incredible, we can't wait… in a few short months since I became chairman of the board, the Kennedy Center, we've completely reversed the decline of this cherished national institution," he said in his speech.

When reporters asked Trump how involved he was in selecting the 2025 honorees, he didn’t hold back.

"I was about 98% involved… they all came through me," he said.

Trump explained he personally greenlit each honoree, and made it known that some didn’t make the cut.

During Stallone's interview with Fox News Digital, he discussed his hit show "Tulsa King" and explained that it's the closest role he's played that shows his true self.

"It's as close as I'm ever going to come to showing who I am, my real personality. That's how I would react. It was an experiment.

"This is pretty much me as a gangster," Stallone said.

Arnold Schwarzenegger admits doing 'nasty things' to Sylvester Stallone until one good idea ended their feud

Arnold Schwarzenegger admitted having mutual hatred for Sylvester Stallone while both actors were emerging stars in the 80s.

The famous duo's feud fizzled by the 2000s, but the former governor of California admitted saying "nasty things" about Stallone early in his career.

"We hated each other. We were kind of attacking each other and doing nasty things and saying nasty things about each other and all these stupid things," Schwarzenegger told Andy Cohen on Sirius XM's "Radio Andy."

Stallone and Schwarzenegger mended their relationship prior to starring in the 2013 movie "Escape Plan" after their big business venture.

After thinking about the proposal, Schwarzenegger recalled admitting it was "actually a good idea, because it could bring us together. And I wanted that. At that point, I had grown out of my craziness."

The Planet Hollywood restaurant chain was backed by the two stars and other investors. They launched their first restaurant in New York in 1991.

Schwarzenegger said he and the "Rocky" star "made it work" when it came to business.

"And Bruce Willis became part of Planet Hollywood, Whoopi Goldberg became part of Planet Hollywood, Chuck Norris. … It really was kind of an international cast."

Stallone discussed his side of the feud in "TMZ Presents: Arnold & Sly: Rivals, Friends," which aired in 2024.

He recalled thinking when Schwarzenegger emerged in Hollywood he finally had a bit of competition.

"Finally, something to motivate me. Because he is, dare I say it, competition, a threat, whatever word you wanna use. As soon as I saw him, it was like bang, two alphas hitting," Stallone said.

Schwarzenegger said, "There’s no two ways about that: He was very helpful in my career because I had something that I could chase."

During the special, Schwarzenegger also revealed he tricked Stallone into taking a part in the 1992 film, "Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot."

Anticipating the movie would flop – it did – Schwarzenegger and his agent concocted a plan.

"First of all, when we talk about the movie, I didn't talk him into [it] because I never talked to him about it," Schwarzenegger said.

"But it was very clear that his agent was telling my agent, ‘Look, Sly is interested in doing it, but I don’t know if it's the right thing for him. Let me know what you guys are thinking.' And then my agent said, ‘Well you know, Arnold really loves it. I think it’s fantastic.'

"So, then I called Roger Spottiswoode, who was the director, who just did the James Bond movie. So, he was kind of the hot director [at the time]," Schwarzenegger recalled.

"Oh my God, oh my God," Stallone said as Schwarzenegger recounted his process.

Stallone said on camera he hadn't known the intricacies of Schwarzenegger's plan.

An excerpt from a new book details the immediate aftermath of the 2024 assassination attempt against President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, including the president's trip to the hospital after the shooting.

The book, titled, "2024: How Trump Retook the White House and the Democrats Lost America," was written by Josh Dawsey, Tyler Pager and Isaac Arnsdorf and is set to be released on July 8.

Susie Wiles, now Trump's chief of staff, told those around her to get down as gunshots rang out at the rally on July 13, 2024.

"The shooting stopped. Wiles rushed to the side of the tent to see if she could tell what had happened. She caught a glimpse of Trump just as he was standing up. She saw the blood. She saw him struggling with the agents, looking for his shoes, raising his fist. She couldn’t tell where he was hit, but she thought he was going to be okay," the excerpt, published by the Washington Post, read.

Wiles was ushered into a motorcade as she waited for other Trump advisers, Steven Cheung and Dan Scavino, to join her.

She rolled down her window and shouted, ‘Get in the car!’ Only when he got inside and the motorcade started rolling did Wiles notice what Scavino had stopped to retrieve: the red MAGA cap that Trump had been wearing, stained with his blood," the authors wrote.

As the motorcade left the rally, Wiles spoke to the head of Trump's Secret Service team, who told her that the president was breathing and was okay. Trump walked into the hospital, refusing to use a stretcher because he didn't want the "visual," the excerpt said.

Wiles, Scavino and Cheung walked into Trump's hospital room when a doctor alerted them.

The book also stated Trump was receiving unexpected phone calls from people who wouldn't normally have reached out to him prior to the assassination attempt.

"Trump was flooded with calls and messages expressing relief, sending strength and wishing him well — some from unusual sources. Sylvester Stallone called. He heard from two of the richest men in the world, Mark Zuckerberg and Jeff Bezos," the book read.

"Both men, who’d been frequent targets of Trump’s criticisms, now told him how courageous he’d appeared when he’d raised his fist and shouted ‘FIGHT!’ Bezos said Trump’s instincts showed who he was, and he wanted them to have a friendship."

Trump also spoke to former President Biden, and said the call was "very nice, actually."

Sylvester Stallone and Richard Gere almost brawled over Princess Diana at Elton John’s party: author

There was a clash of the titans over the People’s Princess.

Princess Diana not only captivated the public, but she apparently made Hollywood heavyweights weak in the knees. In his new book, "Dianaworld: An Obsession," author Edward White explores how the late Princess of Wales not only rocked the monarchy but also impacted pop culture decades after her death in 1997 at age 36.

One story White shared in his book about the "Diana Effect" claims Sylvester Stallone and Richard Gere nearly went toe-to-toe over the British royal at Elton John’s house in the '90s. The account in the book came from John’s husband, David Furnish.

Fox News Digital reached out to Stallone, 78, and Gere, 75, for comment. When a fan previously asked Stallone about the alleged incident in an old Instagram post, the actor responded, "Complete fabrication," Biography.com reported.

"It’s a story that [also] comes from Elton’s autobiography," White told Fox News Digital. "He invited Sylvester Stallone and Richard Gere to a house party that Diana was also at. I mean, it’s Elton John, so probably everyone in the room was like an A-list celebrity or a member of some grand European royal family."

"So they turned up," White shared. "According to Elton John, Sylvester Stallone turned up with the intention of picking up Diana, which is wishful thinking in several ways… But he did that."

"Sylvester Stallone walked in and saw Diana in deep conversation with Richard Gere," White claimed. "He felt that Stallone got angrier and angrier as the evening wore on, because Richard Gere was just dominating. That’s how he felt – that he was dominating the conversation with Diana."

"At some point, from what Elton John says, Sylvester Stallone’s emotions got the better of him," White continued. "He then squared up to Richard Gere, and they had to be separated… It was these two alpha males squabbling over a woman who neither probably had a chance with, to be honest."

John originally shared his account in his 2019 book, "Me." According to the singer, Gere and Diana were deep in conversation in front of the fireplace at his pad, which caused the mood of the party to change.

"As the rest of us chatted, I couldn't help but notice a strange atmosphere in the room," John recalled, as quoted by Biography.com.

"Judging by the kind of looks he kept shooting them, Diana and Richard Gere's newly blossoming friendship was not going down well with Sylvester Stallone at all. I think he may have turned up to the party with the express intention of picking Diana up, only to find his plans for the evening ruined."

John wrote, "Straight away, Richard Gere and Diana seemed very taken with each other."

According to John, the guests headed over to the dining room to eat. However, Gere and Stallone were noticeably missing. John said he then sent Furnish to find the men.

"He came back with both of them, but he was wearing a fairly ashen expression," John wrote, noting that Furnish said there was "a situation."

"It transpired that he’d discovered Sylvester Stallone and Richard Gere in the corridor, squaring up to each other, apparently about to settle their differences over Diana by having a fistfight," wrote John, as quoted by the outlet.

The outlet shared that Furnish managed to break up the situation in time for dinner.

John, 78, wrote that Diana "seemed completely unruffled" by it all.

Tessa Baring of the Barnardo’s children’s charity claimed that on another occasion, it was clear that Stallone was, like many others, eager to be in Diana’s presence.

According to Edward’s book, Baring described that, during a lunch in London, Stallone "really, really wanted to come and sit next to the Princess of Wales."

"We didn’t let him do that, but we did let him sit next to a child who was sitting next to the Princess of Wales," said Baring, as quoted by White’s book.

"Baring remembered the occasion because she thought Diana hit upon an effective way of placating the film star, making the child feel included, and indulging her own desire to find out the latest gossip, by leaning over and asking Stallone questions about his love life as though she were asking them on Tracy’s behalf: ‘Tracy and I want to know if you’re married,’" wrote White.

Stallone and Gere weren’t the only stars who were reportedly eager to spend a night with the princess.

White’s book also described how Freddie Mercury, frontman of Queen, managed to get Diana to sneak out of the palace in disguise and head to "one of London’s most famous gay bars."

"There are these stories of royals slipping out among the commoners in disguise, and they have this magical experience because they’re living just like one of us," White told Fox News Digital. "By dressing up in male drag and going out, she felt embraced by a marginalized community. She felt an affinity with them because, rightly or wrongly, she felt like an outsider, and they were very accepting of her."

"I also think she took huge pleasure in taking risks," White continued. "It was a huge part of her identity that came back time and time again as I was researching the book. She just took the most incredibly audacious risks. She didn’t stop to think twice about things very often… But I think she also felt that she was a rolling stone without a real home. And I also think she felt like she wasn’t living life properly unless she was taking risks."

"You could argue that getting engaged to Prince Charles at age 19, having only met him a few times and not really knowing very much about what was expected of her, was a pretty gigantic gamble," said White. "Maybe one that didn’t pay off."

In his book, White cited the memoirs of Cleo Rocos, who claimed she spent an evening with Mercury, Diana and Kenny Everett after the princess persuaded her to take her to the Royal Vauxhall Tavern. Everett warned the princess that the venue was "not for you… full of hairy gay men."

"Diana was insistent, however, so Everett helped her disguise herself in male drag: a camouflage army jacket, hair tucked up into a leather cap and dark aviator sunglasses," Rocos recalled, as quoted by White’s book.

"Scrutinizing her in the half-light, we decided that the most famous icon of the modern world might just…. JUST pass for a rather eccentrically dressed gay male model."

White wrote that the disguise worked.

"It was fabulously outrageous and so bizarrely exciting… no one, absolutely no one, recognized Diana."

White wrote that the group reportedly stayed for one drink and left. Diana quietly returned to Kensington Palace and sent back Everett’s clothes the next day.

After a date night with his future wife, Dolph Lundgren decided to step into the ring of vodka production.

The "Rocky" star, who studied chemical engineering before he became an actor, has unveiled Hard Cut Vodka, a 90-proof all-American spirit that’s made with Idaho potatoes and water from the Rocky Mountains.

It was a no-brainer for the 67-year-old, who famously played Russian boxer Ivan Drago.

"I’m from Sweden originally, and people drink a lot of vodka in Sweden because it’s cold and dark there in the winter," he told Fox News Digital. "… But I was taking my future wife at the time to Santa Barbara on a date, and I was trying some of the vodkas [at this] bar. I didn’t really like them. I like it straight up over ice and I couldn’t find one I really liked. They were all very harsh. And after complaining for a while, she said, ‘Why don’t you make your own?’"

Not willing to back down from a challenge, Lundgren accepted Emma Krokdal’s dare.

"I looked at the vodka space, and it looked kind of boring compared to tequila," he shared. "A lot of people from Hollywood or entertainment have gone into tequila and whiskey. … Vodka was a wide-open field. … I wanted to have some fun and bring a little bit of an action movie pizzazz to it."

Lundgren and Krokdal were on a quest to find the best distillery to bring their idea of the perfect vodka to life. In Idaho, a two-hour flight from their California home, they found exactly what they were looking for.

Russet potatoes grown in the state, along with "Rocky Mountain snow-melt water" created a concoction that was both strong and smooth. Hard Cut Vodka was born.

The final product, which was awarded Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2024, featured "bright notes of fennel, green apple and just a bit of butterscotch," Forbes reported.

"The ones my wife and I liked the best were from Idaho, where they have a range of vodkas," he explained. "The one we liked came from a particular distillery … it was potato vodka. It turned out the potato gave it a really nice mouthfeel. … Once we found it, we realized it’s an American vodka now, which is cool. … It belongs here. And it’s something I can stand behind."

"With all the trade wars and everything, it’s also an advantage to be an American-made vodka," Lundgren chuckled.

Investing in America was important for the star, he said. After living on and off in the United States, Lundgren officially became an American citizen in 2024. Krokdal, who is originally from Norway, also took part in a naturalization ceremony with her husband, where they both swore an oath of allegiance to the U.S., People magazine reported.

"It's been very important to invest in America," Lundgren explained. "I'm from Sweden, but I'm an immigrant and … all the good things in my life have come from America. I switched from chemical engineering and martial arts to becoming an actor, a movie star in Hollywood. That couldn't have happened in any other country. And so, I feel really comfortable working in America with Americans."

"It just makes it easier because everything is more organized," he said. "People are more on the ball when you're doing business. Yes, it's important to me, and I think Americans will like the fact that it is an American vodka. It's sophisticated. It's tough but smooth and it has an elegant image. Just because it’s all-American doesn’t mean it can’t be sophisticated and elegant."

The star noted he’s always felt proud to build a life and career in America. And when it came time to become a citizen, he felt it was "better late than never."

"It was about time," he reflected. "I’ve been here for 40 years. I went to school here when I was in my teens and moved here. I was an American resident for a while. Then I got married and I moved to Spain for various reasons.

"I lived there and my kids grew up in Spain, my two daughters. But I always wanted to come back. I moved back here about 15 years ago, and then I got my residency back. And then I decided I wanted to become a citizen."

"This country has been my life," said Lundgren. "Everything good in my life has come from America. I love Sweden, but like I said, I’m very close to this country. And standing there, swearing the oath, [seeing] the flag, it was very emotional. And it’s big. It’s not easy to become a citizen. It’s difficult to become an American citizen, and I think it should be."

"I’m proud that I made it," he added.

Lundgren said that whenever he was in Europe, America was on his mind. But he put aside his dreams of staying in the country to be closer to his daughters, who are now 28 and 23 years old.

"I felt like it was the one thing missing," said Lundgren. "… I had been pulled back to Europe by my ex-wife for various reasons. And it was maybe not such a smart move, but I did it for the family. … But I … always felt bad giving up my green card at that time. I always felt I wanted to get it back. I felt becoming an American … it just feels so right."

It was in America where Lundgren found himself suddenly skyrocketing to fame. Drago was introduced in "Rocky IV," which premiered on Nov. 27, 1985, nearly 40 years ago.

"I went in there as a kid," said Lundgren about attending the premiere. "… My girlfriend was a famous singer at the time, Grace Jones. People tried to get me out of the way to take pictures of her. And then I went [inside the theater]. The lights went down, and these two boxing gloves came up, a Soviet glove and an American glove. The movie starts, and I’m sitting there frozen for 90 minutes."

"The lights came up, and suddenly everybody was looking at me," Lundgren continued. "I was a bit – I didn’t know what to do. I felt really sick to my stomach but excited. We went out and people are taking pictures of me now. It took me a couple of years to get over it."

Lundgren admitted that fame was difficult for him to navigate. His relationship with Jones, now 76, eventually came to an end. But over the years, he found himself busy appearing in blockbuster franchises, including "The Expendables," "Creed" and "Aquaman," among others.

He’s still good friends with Stallone, 78, who now resides in Palm Beach, Florida. Their daughters have also formed a friendship.

"It’s quite unusual to be close to somebody for 40 years in this business and be in the ring, punching each other," said Lundgren.

"Throwing each other around, that creates a certain friendship. We’ve done six films together now. And he’s a very smart, talented guy. Sometimes you play characters that are simplistic and physical, people assume you’re not intelligent. But he’s a very talented artist. And he’s very funny as well. I loved getting to know him over the years. I can’t wait to make him a cocktail the next time I see him."

"Rocky," Lundgren said, will always hold a special place for the star.

EXCLUSIVE — Frank Stallone offered praise for President Donald Trump's agenda while reflecting on big brother Sylvester's "cat's out of the bag" moment, where the actor ebulliently introduced the then-president-elect as "the second George Washington" in November.

"We are in the presence of a really mythical character. Nobody in the world could have pulled off what he pulled off, so I'm in awe," Sylvester said while introducing Trump at the America First Policy Institute Gala at Mar-a-Lago. "When George Washington defended his country, he had no idea that he was going to change the world because, without him, you could imagine what the world would look like. Guess what? We've got the second George Washington. Congratulations!"

Frank said that while his brother's fans probably weren't surprised by his ideological leanings, Sylvester left little to the imagination that day about his politics.

And he's, you know, he's very glib. He knows that stuff. And he said it. And I said, 'well, the cat's out of the bag now.'"

"I mean, I think everyone knew he was conservative, but like, the cat's out of the bag now, buddy," Frank continued. "And so, you know, that's the way it is. And that's what makes America great. You're allowed to like who you want. And I don't think. I don't care who it is. You know, you're allowed to love who you want, like who you want and just do your thing. As long as you're not bothering anybody, dude? You know, who cares?"

Trump named Stallone as one of his ambassadors to Hollywood, along with Mel Gibson and Jon Voight, in January.

Frank has been very open about his own conservative political views and was asked if he has ever received any backlash for being so outspoken, especially after his friend Robert Davi revealed he was concerned he wouldn't get the call for "Goonies 2" because of his politics.

"Maybe not blatantly, but at this point, you know, I was pretty good with my money," Stallone told Fox News Digital. "You know, my career is going to be where it is, you know? I mean, I'm that guy… But you know, a lot of people I know in the business are, you know, pretty fair-minded. You don't have to be conservative. But they're not, they're not like woke, you know what I mean?… And I'm not a political pundit at all. I'm just the concerned American that's been here long enough to see the decline of everything, you know and that's my thing. I'm not. I'm not Charlie Kirk."

"I mean, these guys are really real political guys," he added. "I mean, they know the ins and outs. I wouldn't want to debate them on it. I just debate on common sense, what I think is wrong, what I think is right. It just seems very simple. Crime is not good. Homelessness is not good. You know, spending billions and trillions of dollars on nonsense. We already know, it's not a good look, you know?"

Frank pivoted to praising Trump's recent joint session address to Congress and criticizing the Democrats who didn't stand for any of his remarks, including the more emotional moments like when he recognized 13-year-old brain cancer survivor DJ Daniel, and two grieving mothers. Allyson and Lauren Phillips, the mother and sister of Laken Riley, the 22-year-old Georgia nursing student who was killed by an illegal immigrant, were in the audience, as well as Alexis Nungaray, whose 12-year-old daughter, Jocelyn, was sexually assaulted and murdered by strangulation by two illegal immigrants in their 20s.

"I thought President Trump's speech last night was classic," Frank said. "I thought, you know, the thing is. What? He's so — he's so irreverent. That's what makes him funny. He just lays it out. And of course, you know, I think the Democrats — what broke my heart, when you had a few of these mothers there that their daughters were brutally murdered. You had that little kid with brain cancer. You had the — one of them stood up, no clapping."

"Nah, I said this is it. Just heartless. No soul. I don't care what party you are. How can your heart not break for these young mothers that had their children brutally murdered? And they just sat there like this. Texting. It just shows you how out of touch they were. And it's a real big topic today that just did not help their party at all. I mean, anybody with a soul," he continued.

Some Democrats did speak out after the address to admit staying silent during that particular moment was not a good look.

"He is going to get things done," Frank said of Trump. "His ego is such, he will get it done. And that's why I think it's incredible. I mean, I honest to God, with him and Vance in this new administration, for once in the last — I feel safe, I really do. There's a different vibe going out there. I think people are becoming a little more emboldened. I think people are going to feel more safe."

Stallone said he's still practicing his music and playing concerts, and he's also got some "acting parts in the works."

"I've had ups and downs," he said. "It's been a great journey. It's been a great ride, man, because you know what I can say, I really did what I loved to do. I really love it. I mean, you know, it's even though I'm getting older, I'm in good physical shape. I can still go out and do two hours and stuff, but I love it. How many people can say they really love what they do? Not many."

Sylvester Stallone putting money into artificial intelligence after 'Godfather' warning

Sylvester Stallone is the latest celebrity embracing artificial intelligence.

The "Rocky" star invested, along with several others, in Largo.ai, an AI-driven analytics platform for film, TV and advertising, raising $7.5 million in financing for the company.

"We are very happy to have a cinema legend like Sylvester Stallone supporting our journey. Stallone's story in cinema and the disruption that he created is truly very inspiring for any entrepreneur like me and his support in the new era of cinema with AI by being a partner in Largo.ai is truly encouraging for us," Largo.ai CEO and co-founder Sami Arpa told Fox News Digital in a statement.

Largo.ai currently works with more than 600 companies in film and TV, and has plans to expand its offerings with the launch of its Version 3, which will provide recommendations along with existing tools and generate early creative concepts, according to Deadline.

WHAT IS ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI)?

The news of Stallone’s investment in the company came after he was announced as a "special ambassador" to Hollywood by President Donald Trump, along with Jon Voight and Mel Gibson.

In January, President Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform, "It is my honor to announce Jon Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone, to be Special Ambassadors to a great but very troubled place, Hollywood, California."

He continued, "They will serve as Special Envoys to me for the purpose of bringing Hollywood, which has lost much business over the last four years to Foreign Countries, BACK—BIGGER, BETTER, AND STRONGER THAN EVER BEFORE!"

The "Rambo" star has been sharing some of the good and bad of AI on his social media recently.

Last month, Stallone shared stills from a fake "Godfather 4" trailer, writing in the caption, "What is going on? Lol this is definitely not to be taken seriously!"

The creator of the fake "Godfather 4" video trailer sent a message to viewers explaining how it was made.

"Please note that this video is a concept trailer created solely for artistic and entertainment purposes. I have meticulously incorporated various effects, sound design, AI technologies, movie analytics, and other elements to bring my vision to life."

This week, Stallone shared another image from another fake "Godfather" sequel. The poster shows the actor sitting behind a desk in a similar position to Marlon Brando in the original "Godfather," with the fake title "The Godfather Part the Family Legacy" with the added text of "First Trailer."

"Not Real ! Just for fun!!" he wrote in the caption.

Stallone is the latest star to invest in AI technology.

Last year, Jared Leto invested in two different AI companies, a generative AI startup called Captions, and Pika, a program that lets people generate short videos from written prompts, images or videos.

Ashton Kutcher and music manager Guy Oseary co-founded Sound Venture, which included companies OpenAI, Anthropic and Stability AI in its portfolio, per Variety.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert Downey Jr. have also invested in different AI companies with an environmental focus.

Downey Jr. did say in an interview last year he would "sue" if his likeness was recreated with AI.

AI has been a point of contention in Hollywood for the past two years, and several stars have spoken out against the technology.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Glenn Close questioned AI, asking "What is going to be truth? What is true is going to be a big question."

President Donald Trump’s announcement last week that Jon Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone would serve as "special envoys" to Hollywood has raised questions about their role as the industry reckons with a rocky state of affairs.

On Thursday, via his Truth Social platform, President Trump wrote, "It is my honor to announce Jon Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone, to be Special Ambassadors to a great but very troubled place, Hollywood, California."

What Stallone, Gibson, and Voight will specifically do remains to be seen, but there is some speculation.

Travis Knox, associate professor at Chapman University, explained to Fox News Digital, "As of right now, the special ambassadors' specific duties are ambiguous. Either curbing runaway production or convincing China, the 2nd largest film market in the world, to expand its quota of imported Hollywood films would be a win for the American film industry. However, without clear directives, we'll have to see how Voight, Gibson, and Stallone approach their roles as Trump's 'eyes and ears' in Hollywood."

"It's not so much that they're official government employees or they have specific powers. I think it's a lot more symbolic in the idea of trying to bring back or bring in a cooperation between Hollywood and the more conservative or right side of the current administration," said Jason Cherubini, executive in residence at Loyola University, Maryland and co-founder of Dawn’s Light Media.

I think this is, if anything, Trump trying to push a little bit of support and continue that growth of the media industry and establishment not being solely to the left, but at least if not for further right, at least center right."

At last November’s America First Policy Institute Gala, Stallone called Trump the "second George Washington" while introducing him to the crowd.

Doug Eldridge of Achilles PR agreed that there will likely be changes in how politics are handled in Hollywood.

"This marks a continued (albeit gradual) political shift across Hollywood, in terms of ideology and alignment. The last two prominent, conservatives to come out of the industry: Ronald Reagan and Arnold Schwarzenegger. In the decades since, Hollywood has leaned decided liberal; this arguably peaked during the Obama years, when actors, athletes, and musicians lined up to endorse and support the 44th President of the United States. I wouldn't say this realignment is akin to a light switch (meaning immediate in its pace and effect) but it certainly seems like the early stages of a dimmer switch."

And while those shifts are certainly likely, film expert and producer-actor Scott Hamm Duenas sees a potential for differing political stances clashing.

"Having leaders in Hollywood who are huge stars but also happen to be conservatives could potentially cause a lot of friction. Since becoming president in 2016, Hollywood, Trump, and Trump supporters are like oil and water; they do not mix. I think you would have to influence many very important people to open their minds to the thought of taking these people and their ambassadorship seriously," he said.

Cherubini predicts that Stallone, Gibson, and Voight’s roles will also lead to a shift in the kinds of stories being produced.

"I think the impact is going to be more support for different types of productions with maybe different content or areas that I think especially outside of your major studio system," he said. "It's not studio executives, it's household name actors."

He noted that some of the biggest studio leaders in Hollywood, like Marvel’s Kevin Feige and Disney’s Bob Iger, weren’t the ones selected for the position, meaning it’s not so much "a switch in the studio system in those productions, but bringing more of an awareness to those other filmmakers or those filmmakers who may be making outside [films] of the mainstream," specifically faith-based productions.

"It's an area that is not always been fully embraced by Hollywood in the media industry. And I think this is a little bit of extra support and push for potentially those types of projects and those filmmakers," the "Money Plane" producer said.

While Hamm Duenas does see a potential for friction, it will all come down to how any changes or suggestions are presented, as well as where money from audiences leads.

"If they don’t come in overly aggressive, trying to force their views on people and instead come up with a plan to push for a return to more traditional forms of storytelling, emphasizing themes like patriotism and resilience, which are often associated with their work, I think that could possibly work, especially if that type of programming is a hit with audiences," he said.

"At the end of the day, the industry is all about making a profit," Duenas added. "If that type of contest equates to clicks, streams, and butts in seats, Hollywood will shift its content without hesitation. That being said, it wouldn't alter Hollywood's core values or diminish its commitment to telling progressive stories and giving a platform to issues they deeply believe in and feel deserve to be heard."

For example, "Sound of Freedom," produced by Angel Studios, known for its Christian-themed content, was a box office hit in 2023, earning around $250 million worldwide, per Box Office Mojo, and becoming a blockbuster hit alongside "Barbie" and "Oppenheimer." It also happened to star Gibson’s "Passion of the Christ" star Jim Caviezel as real-life anti-child-trafficking activist Tim Ballard.

For his part, Gibson admitted he was a bit surprised by his role as an envoy but was ready to fulfill his yet-to-be determined duties.

"I got the tweet at the same time as all of you and was just as surprised," Gibson said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "Nevertheless, I heed the call. My duty as a citizen is to give any help and insight I can. Any chance the position comes with an Ambassador’s residence?"

Duenas added, "Realistically, the ambassadors' involvement could really rub a lot of heavy hitters, including studios, producers, actors, directors, and writers, the wrong way. This could even deepen existing divides within the industry, as Hollywood is very proud of its liberal stance, and the last thing they want is lectures about how to do business from conservatives."

Voight was vocal in his support of his new role, declaring he’s seen a "slow deterioration" of Hollywood over his nearly seven-decade career.

"I’m old enough to have touched some years of the Golden Age of Hollywood, and I’ve seen its slow deterioration since," he said. "Today, we are in pretty bad shape. Very few films are made here now, but we are fortunate to have an incoming President who wants to restore Hollywood to its former glory, and with his help, I feel we can get done."

The "Midnight Cowboy" star’s mention of "very few films" being made in Los Angeles has been an ongoing issue following the triple hit of the COVID-19 pandemic, the dual writers and actors strikes in 2023, and now the fires that ravaged large portions of the city.

"Will we see a shift in production location?" Eldridge said. "In the immediate sense, yes, but that will be due in large part to the utter devastation caused by the Los Angeles fires. If the Writers Guild strike delayed production by an entire year, there's no telling when Hollywood will get back to 'business as usual' based on the images we've seen on TV over the last week."

He continued, "But the inevitable outsourcing of production won't be caused by the fires themselves; several years ago, states like Georgia and Texas began giving significant tax incentives to filmmakers in order to move production to their states. California might be home to Hollywood, but it's also home to one of the most prohibitive (and arguably, punitive) tax structures in the entire country. We had already seen the beginning of a slow migration of production out of California; I think these fires will only serve to fast-track that creative exodus."

Cherubini said that the envoys won’t necessarily focus on keeping production in California but that the state will have to focus on itself.

"If there is a switch at the state level government, there may be something that happens there. But even at the state level, I think that's a decision on working with major studios versus your mini studios or even your independent films on what can be done within California versus what is easier to do or cheaper to do or more efficient to do in these other locations."

Duenas said, "While they could advocate for bringing production back to California, I don’t know how much credit they would get, as things are already moving in that direction for 2025. Plans for tax incentives are already in the works to bring more production back from other states and countries, which would be huge for California and the enormous number of people this industry provides income for in the Golden State."

As Stallone, Gibson, and Voight, along with the rest of Hollywood, await the answers as to what their positions will entail, experts remain mixed on how they will be received.

Hamm Duenas said, "No matter how their ideas are presented, they will definitely conjure up mixed reactions. Some stars may support their initiatives, some will stay neutral, and others—I think the majority—will oppose them."

"I think there's always going to be the[se] polarized extremes," Cherubini said. "There's going to be people who are adamantly against anything this administration does in the same way proponents of this administration are going to be adamantly against everything from the other side."

But even with the potential for disagreements, Cherubini thinks any push for more production of any kind, especially ones that stay not just in California, but the United States entirely, would be welcome.

"I think a lot of people, again, outside of your polarized extremes, will be very happy for anything that starts putting more productions back on its feet and getting us into a situation where more productions are being made and being made stateside. Because outside of just projects going from California to other states, we've seen a drastic increase in productions moving abroad that have no necessity to move abroad.

"It's all financial and legal implications on what you're able to do in other places at different price points. So, if more of that can be brought stateside or brought back California, I think a lot of people will be not just OK with it, I think they'll be in favor of it."

Stallone, 78, took to social media to comment on the fan-made video creation.

"What is going on? Lol this is definitely not to be taken seriously!" the Hollywood actor laughed and wrote on Instagram. His post included two photos of Stallone, one of him smoking a cigar and the second of the actor holding a gun.

Stallone’s fake "Godfather" trailer comes as he was named one of three legendary stars tapped by President-elect Donald Trump to be Hollywood ambassadors.

Trump announced the special envoys on Thursday with the purpose of promoting business in Hollywood.

"It is my honor to announce Jon Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone, to be Special Ambassadors to a great but very troubled place, Hollywood, California," Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.

"They will serve as Special Envoys to me for the purpose of bringing Hollywood, which has lost much business over the last four years to Foreign Countries," he wrote in part.

Stallone called Trump the "second George Washington" while introducing the 47th president at the America First Policy Institute Gala in November.

"We are in the presence of a really mythical character. Nobody in the world could have pulled off what he pulled off, so I'm in awe," the actor said.

Sylvester Stallone is standing down on his initial plan to build an underwater barrier near his Palm Beach home.

After he angered several neighbors in his affluent, waterfront community, Stallone made a plea during the Town Council meeting in Palm Beach on Thursday.

Stallone previously addressed concerns about marine life and water quality on the Palm Beach shore near his $35 million mansion.

"We wanted to bring back this, it’s almost a sanctuary," Stallone, 78, pleaded, according to The Palm Beach Post.

"You’re great neighbors and you’ve been here a long time… we respect your work and the way you see this," Stallone said, adding that his plan for the barrier "was not just a vanity thing."

While the "Rocky" star attended the Town Council meeting with his wife Jennifer Flavin Stallone, neighbors continued to be angered by his message and dismissed his plea.

"If you're out there in the channel ... and a big boat comes, you have to get out of the way quickly," a former U.S. Army major general argued to the council and explained how the barrier would create a safety issue.

"A barrier like this would merely trap the trash and push it farther down the line," a lifelong resident echoed.

Council President Bobbie Lindsay joked and told Stallone, "It's tough being so famous."

"I think today we're being asked by our residents, and you can see where this is heading, to not support this particular application," she said. "And I would hope that when we do that ... that we also at the same time invite you to please work with us to go after some of these injustices that are happening in our waterway."

The meeting concluded with Stallone agreeing to withdraw his application.

Stallone’s plans to build the underwater barrier in the Intracostal Waterway near his massive Palm Beach home stemmed from an application he previously submitted that neighbors were reportedly blindsided by, according to the outlet.

What appears to be billed as an environmental project needed to keep out debris and seaweed from the waterway, "the overall project purpose is to exclude boaters" from being near the property, a public notice from the Army Corps stated. Seaweed is listed as a secondary concern.

The proposal request from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection stated Stallone’s surrounding neighbors have until 5 p.m. on Christmas Day to comment on the actor’s project, according to the outlet.

The "Tulsa King" star’s application also included a request for a lease of state land due to the positioning of the barrier which is owned by the state, according to records.

In 2021, Stallone was confirmed as the buyer of a sprawling $35 million home, which sits on approximately 1.5 lakefront acres, facing over 250 feet of beach with a dock.

The total living space – including a main house, a guest house and a pool pavilion near the keyhole-shaped pool in the backyard – is over 13,000 square feet. Between the main and guest spaces, the property has seven bedrooms and 12 baths.

For residents Susan Gary and husband Bradford, the public-comment period notice was only recently received in the mail, and long after the window had closed for them to raise concerns.

"Usually when your neighbors are gonna do something, we've found in Palm Beach, usually they call," Gary said. "A lot of neighbors are concerned."

Last year, Stallone spoke about his decision to relocate to the East Coast after building his career and family in Los Angeles. In the opening scenes of his Netflix documentary, "Sly," Stallone spoke about the decision to move, saying it was beneficial to his creativity.

"There’s crime everywhere, there’s crime in Florida, too, so I didn’t move because of crime. You can find it anywhere you look, even in small towns," the mother of three said.

In a post shared on Instagram this week, Stallone seemed to express the belief that the record-breaking fight between the social media star and one of boxing’s greatest was a scripted performance.

"Just to set my personal record straight. Business is business. SOMETIMES you have to do hard things and sacrifice for the sake of helping your FAMILY," Stallone wrote.

The "Rocky" actor was the final speaker of the night – only talking for about two minutes – before the president-elect took the stage at Mar-a-Lago.

When starting off his speech, Stallone began speaking about his "Rocky" character and how he was "going to go through a metamorphosis and change lives, just like President Trump."

"We are in the presence of a really mythical character. Nobody in the world could have pulled off what he pulled off, so I'm in awe," he said.

The actor, 78, made age look like just a number as he moved his hips to the rhythm of the hit Motown song.

The video, which has amassed 1 million likes on Instagram, was apparently taken without Stallone's knowledge.

Sylvester Stallone's daughter, Sistine Stallone, 26, wants to share her story with other women.

During a recent episode of "Unwaxed," the podcast she shares with sister Sophia, Sistine opened up about a terrifying moment she experienced in New York when a strange man followed her for multiple city blocks.

"There was this guy on a bike that just started screaming really inappropriate profanities at me, but I just kept moving. I didn’t even acknowledge it," she said on the podcast. "But he comes up behind me on his bike and puts his hands on me and that’s when I freaked out, and then he started screaming at me."

Following the man's decision to touch her, Sistine no longer felt safe, explaining that she then began to run, looking for a place to hide. He continued to follow her for three blocks and started "cutting through the crowd on his bike."

She then ran into a Sephora and was "hiding behind a makeup counter." Initially, Sistine believed she successfully "lost him" and the man had moved on. She quickly realized, however, the man was "inside the store" and "screaming at the top of his lungs, ‘You can’t hide from me b----, I will find you. I will get you.’"

"And at this point he has like five employees trying to box him out of the store," she explained. "In the middle of all of this I’m hiding in the back of the store for 15 minutes, I’m on the ground like in a bug formation. If he comes back, I’m screwed. I see four cops take him to the back of the store."

After telling her story, Sistine revealed she chose to share her experience in an effort to remind women to pay attention when walking alone, telling them "don't have your headphones in" and "don't be looking down."

Fans of the young star were quick to show their support on social media, with one person writing, "I’m horrified that this happened to you. I hope you’re OK." Another commented, "I’m so sorry that happened please get a taser or pepper spray! No one should have to go through that."

Sylvester shares Sistine, and her two sisters, Sophia, 28, and Scarlet, 22, with his wife, Jennifer Flavin. The couple got married in May 1997, and aside from a brief separation from August to September 2022, they have been together ever since. They previously dated from 1988 to 1994, reconciling later in 1995.

"I remember vividly the first time I met Jennifer," he said in an episode of "The Family Stallone," the reality show he stars in with his family. "I was in this dark restaurant, a few people. She came in and, whoa! Something happened. I just felt, like, this jolt, like – 'Oh, did we just have a minor earthquake or something?'"

He went on to say that things "happen when you least expect it" and 35 years after meeting his wife, he still considers himself to be "the luckiest son of a b---- in the world."

While promoting their reality show, the "Rocky" star's daughters explained why their dad makes it hard for them to date. Sistine and Sophia told Fox News Digital they feel the need to "prep" the men they're dating before they meet their dad.

"I've said, 'He might not say hello, don't take offense. That's just how he works. He might grip your hand too hard…'" Sistine explained.
