WWE star Seth Rollins storms off NFL Network set after Kyle Brandt razzing

WWE star Seth Rollins has had a tough week.

He lost his WrestleMania 42 match against Gunther after a brutal ambush from Bron Breakker, and on "Monday Night Raw," Breakker ambushed him again. It has been rough for "The Visionary" and on Thursday he didn’t appear to be in the mood for any teasing.

Rollins was a guest on "Good Morning Football" ahead of Thursday night’s NFL Draft.

NFL Network host Kyle Brandt began to needle Rollins about which is more difficult, "Performing at 39 or playing in the NFL at 42?" Brandt was adamant that seventh-round draft picks going into the league can "go off the top rope."

Rollins was perplexed.

"By the way, half the roster, Seth, is in their late 30s, early 40s. NFL at 42 is like Ric Flair in his bleepin’ 60s. We’re talking about a real sport, not predetermined. Big-time hits, 22 people," Brandt said. "I figured out what it is with Seth. I just figured it out.

Rollins got up and tossed the "Terrible Towel" at Brandt and walked off the set.

The former champion has been a part of NFL coverage over the last few years on the NFL Network and Netflix. Rollins is a massive Chicago Bears fan.

Brandt appeared to be welcoming before Rollins’ appearance on the show. But it seemed clear he struck a chord with the WWE star.

WWE star Kit Wilson needed to go through some character changes before he was featured again on "Friday Night SmackDown."

He lost his Pretty Deadly tag team partner due to a serious injury, and needed to start a singles run of his own. While the recent run hasn’t yielded any championships as of yet, he’s been able to garner attention in a way that hasn’t really been seen before on WWE TV.

Wilson’s gimmick calls out toxic masculinity among his fellow pro wrestlers. He reads poetry, writes in his journal and puts "toxic" superstars on notice.

He told Fox News Digital he believed "things are looking up."

"I’m feeling pretty good," Wilson said before WrestleMania 42. "You know, obviously, it came from a sad place, it came from a dark place, losing my tag-team partner. He’s out injured at the moment. I miss him. I hope for him to be back. But yeah, we’re on a trajectory right now. We’re on a singles run right now. Things are looking up.

"I’m feeling more confident than ever. I’m more passionate than ever. I’m feeling this fire within me. And look, things haven’t been going my way. I’ve been losing. I’ve been losing. I’ve been cursed. I’ve been cursed. I’m feeling so good, I’m pushing forward. I’m pushing all the way to the top and I’m not stopping until I get to the top."

Wilson’s character has caught on so much that he’s been able to bring in some new fans.

The average sports fan who may not be interested in WWE or is passing through SmackDown while channel flipping has been able to stop and see Wilson in action.

"I do think that is something that is very big and important to me. When I started, there was a lot of people who I looked up to that weren’t the stereotypical people. I didn’t like the kind of ‘bad a--,’ I didn’t like the bold, aggressive, angry man for no reason. I liked the vibrant characters. When I started on the independent scene in the UK, Noam Dar – who is now in NXT – I looked up to him so much because I felt like I related to him more.

"So, for me to be able to be doing this specific character right now, this Kit Wilson era, it’s kind of inspiring because who maybe see themselves through it because it’s not the stereotypical aggressive, angry, ‘toxic,’ man, yeah, I feel really good about that."

Wilson wasn’t scheduled in a match at WrestleMania 42, but he did appear in a segment with John Cena, The Miz and Danhausen.

Unfortunately, it ended with Danhausen’s allies punching him in the groin.

Still, to go from a mid-card singles competitor to being involved in WrestleMania in any regard is huge achievement in its own right.

WWE to hold premium live event in Saudi Arabia amid Iran ceasefire

Saudi Arabia was among the countries seeing missiles fly into their airspace as a conflict broke out in the Middle East between the U.S. and Iran.

The prospect of Iran targeting its Middle Eastern neighbors like Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates put some sporting events on hold and questioned others. Formula 1 races in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain were canceled and rumors swirled around whether future WWE events could be held in the kingdom.

As the Trump administration brokered a ceasefire with Iran, WWE announced on Thursday that its Night of Champions premium live event will be held in Riyadh on June 27.

"We are proud to welcome Night of Champions back to Riyadh and look forward to delivering another unforgettable night of WWE action for fans in the Kingdom and around the world," General Entertainment Authority chairman Turki Al-Sheikh said in a news release.

The release touted that WrestleMania 43 will still be held in Riyadh in 2027. It will be the first time that WrestleMania is held outside the U.S.

WWE president Nick Khan was adamant before WrestleMania 42 that the event will still take place in Saudi Arabia despite the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

"We’re doing WrestleMania next year in Saudi," he said at a Sports Business Journal event, via The Sporting Tribune. "First time ever, WrestleMania will be outside the United States or Canada. And we’ve had a big, fruitful partnership with them."

He added that those complaining about WrestleMania being held in Saudi Arabia were a "vocal minority."

Pro wrestling stars Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley talk possibility of WWE using TNA’s gimmick matches

Total Nonstop Action (TNA) brought pro wrestling fans a bevy of unique and interesting gimmick matches over the years.

Two that come to mind were the Ultimate X and King of the Mountain matches.

The Ultimate X match would have high-wire ropes above the ring with pillars on the sides. In order for a wrestler to win the match, they would have to climb the pillar, make their way across the rope and grab the prize that hung in the middle. The match would often feature the X-Division’s highflyers and provided some heart-stopping moments.

The King of the Mountain match was essentially a reverse ladder match that included a penalty box for those who were pinned – which is also featured in the Iron Survivor Challenge that takes place during WWE NXT events. Each wrestler begins as ineligible to win and the only way to be eligible is to score a pinfall or a submission.

The only way to win the match is to hang the title belt on the top, retrieving it from the official to do so. Jeff Jarrett won the match three times in TNA. The men’s match hasn’t been seen since 2016. A women’s match took place in 2022 for the Knockouts World Championship.

WWE STAR DANHAUSEN REFLECTS ON FIRST MONTHS WITH COMPANY, GIVES UPDATE ON DANHAUSENETTES

WWE’s partnership with TNA could provide that opportunity for WWE to incorporate the match types into their own plans. Fox News Digital asked former TNA stars – current WWE wrestlers – Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley if they would like to see that happen one day.

"I guess the door is open with WWE and TNA working together," Sabin said. "So, I guess it’s always possible."

Shelley said a King of the Mountain match could be a "good idea."

"Man, I’ve never thought about King of the Mountain," he said. "I think that’s a good idea. I love King of the Mountain."

Sabin added, however, he wouldn’t want to be a part of anymore Ultimate X matches.

"Myself, I would like to take my name of the hat for Ultimate X matches because I lost count of how many I’ve done – north of 20. So, I’ve done plenty of those," he told Fox News Digital. "Had my fill of those matches."

WWE has already produced some interesting matches of their own in recent years, including the aforementioned Iron Survivor Challenge and the Underground Match, which is its own take on the BloodSport style matches.

It’s unclear if WWE would ever use TNA’s gimmick matches, but, like Sabin said, the door is open given the partnership between both companies.

Saree posted on her X account on Monday that she won $6,347 on the Buffalo Triple Power game before she went back home after a full week of wrestling during WrestleMania week.

"Beginner’s luck," she wrote. "I was so surprised!!!"

Saree appeared to be wagering $2.40 a spin before hitting the big bonus. There didn’t appear to be a better way to cap off the week.

Nevertheless, Sarray is one of the best Japanese wrestlers on the circuit to date.

ESPN writers try to make WrestleMania all about race, calls event 'Blackest of all time'

Overall, ESPN did a fine job airing its first WrestleMania this past weekend. The network covered it like a major sporting event on SportsCenter, expanding the WWE’s mainstream bona fides. But ESPN’s involvement also all but guaranteed that someone on its roster would turn the moment into a commentary on race.

And that’s exactly what happened.

OutKick has previously detailed how ESPN's David Dennis Jr. strives to be the next Jemele Hill and Bomani Jones. His entire schtick depends on filtering stories through the lens of race and racism. For context, he’s the personality who said Sydney Sweeney’s American Eagle ad "mortified" him and urged Caitlin Clark fans to stop watching the WNBA.

He's embarrassing. He tries too hard.

"Oba Femi crushed Brock Lesnar, avenging all of the black stars Lesnar has beaten over his career," Dennis said in an X clip.

"WrestleMania 42 was not only a coming-out party for the company’s young black male talent, but also a statement that WWE is betting on that future," he wrote.

Is that so?

Dennis and Shorter are correct about one thing. Oba Femi dismantling Lesnar was a defining moment, signaling his position as a top-tier star of the new era. But Femi's push has nothing to do with race.

Despite the narrative ESPN is pushing, Femi's skin color doesn't make him any more or less unique.

There was once a performer named Dwayne Johnson, better known in wrestling as The Rock. Heard of him? He has WrestleMania wins over, wait for it, Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and John Cena.

Five women have main-evented WrestleMania. Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks are two of them. President Donald Trump handpicked (in storyline) Bobby Lashley to represent him in WrestleMania 23 in the "Battle of the Billionaires" against Vince McMahon. Lashley and Trump were victorious.

The history of professional wrestling is full of performers of different ethnicities, from black to white to Samoan to Hispanic to Japanese.

Moreover, as someone who was there for both nights of WrestleMania this past weekend, I can assure you that no one in the crowd, before or after the event, cared about the performers' skin color. Only people like Dennis bothered to notice. The rest of us were focused on the performances.

And as strong a partner as ESPN is for WWE, this type of race-baiting is something other partners don’t provide.

Further, people like Dennis fail to understand that they hurt black performers by championing them on racial grounds.

Lamar Jackson is not a polarizing figure because of anything he has said or done. He’s disliked because ESPN personnel accuse those who criticize him of racism and great white hope-ism. Ryan Clark, Cam Newton, and Robert Griffin III made Jackson unlikable.

A similar dynamic could emerge here. And, for Femi’s sake, that would be unfortunate.

Outside of Roman Reigns, no one drew a stronger reaction in Las Vegas than Femi. At just 27, he has an aura that few before him have ever embodied. With Reigns, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins all further along in their careers, there’s a legitimate case that Femi could anchor the next generation of superstars.

But he may have to do so while overcoming ESPN’s push to racialize the conversation around him.

WWE star Danhausen reflects on first months with company, gives update on Danhausenettes

Danhausen made his debut at Elimination Chamber in February when he appeared out of a mysterious box that was set up on the stage.

The pro wrestling star’s entrance came with a puzzled fan base and questions about who this guy was and how he was going to fit on a crowded roster filled with talented wrestlers all vying for championships and time on the major premium live events, "Monday Night Raw" and "Friday Night SmackDown."

Danhausen came out with his faced painted and several women, known at the time as the Danhausenettes. It was his first appearance since he left All Elite Wrestling, where he had the same gimmick – putting a "curse" and emerging as more of a comedy act than anything.

In the weeks leading up to WrestleMania, Danhausen caught on with the fans. He "cursed" The Miz, Kit Wilson, Dominik Mysterio, the New York Mets and Stephen A. Smith in between his debut and WrestleMania 42. In Las Vegas, his T-shirts were everywhere and dozens of fans painted their faces to match the "very nice, very evil" superstar.

"I’ve only been here for about two months, and look at the impact Danhausen’s made," he told Fox News Digital before WrestleMania Night 1. "He’s got a merchandise stand at WrestleMania. He’s going to be at WrestleMania. And his face is on everything. Gotta get it on the side of the truck still. But what was your question? I was talking about how great I am."

Danhausen also provided an update on the Danhausenettes, who haven’t been seen since they were dancing and performing on the stage at Elimination Chamber.

Danhausen appeared at WrestleMania Night 2 – his first WrestleMania.

He came out to a huge reaction in a segment that involved John Cena, The Miz and Wilson. He was accompanied by pro wrestlers from Micro Wrestling. They also got involved as Danhausen struck The Miz in the groin. The Micro Wrestling performers carried The Miz out of the ring.

It was one of the funniest moments of the weekend. One thing is for sure, Danhausen is in WWE to stay.

Roman Reigns, CM Punk put on professional wrestling masterclass at WrestleMania 42

CM Punk and Roman Reigns met at WrestleMania 42 in a clash between two titans of the pro wrestling industry who helped shaped WWE over the last 15 years.

Punk entered as the world heavyweight champion, while Reigns was the challenger. Reigns earned the shot at Punk’s title after winning the Royal Rumble in January.

The two went back-and-forth for weeks trading barbs, with Punk vowing to "bury" Reigns next to his father and the "OTC" telling Punk he’s too old. They put each other through the "Monday Night Raw" announce table on various episodes. Reigns then vowed he would walk out of WWE if he lost to Punk.

It all led to the raucous brawl that occurred in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium to end the weekend.

Reigns’ entrance music shook the stadium as he walked purposely down the ramp – for the second straight year with no "Wiseman" to back him up or guide him through what vowed to be an incredible match.

Punk came out to the top of the stage and looked over the crowd. He touched the ground, and yelled with the crowd, "It’s clobbering time." The crowd sang "Cult of Personality" as it blared through the stadium.

The match brought an electricity into the air that was missing from Night 1. It had a big fight feel and both Punk and Reigns brought it.

The two started grappling for control after meeting face-to-face in the middle of the ring for one final round of trash talking. They traded knockdowns and slapped each other around as Reigns gained the advantage to start the match.

A Samoan drop set the stage for Reigns to go on the offensive first. The crowd acknowledged their "Tribal Chief" as he clotheslined Punk outside the ring.

Punk reversed Reigns’ attempt to bash him into the announce table. But Reigns whipped Punk into the barricade and continued his assault in the crowd. Punk sat on a chair and waited for Reigns to get him. Punk jumped on the barricade and hit a flying clothesline.

Punk’s taunts didn’t last long. Reigns tossed Punk from the announce table onto the ground as the referee begged for both competitors to get back into the ring. Reigns obliged as that was the only way he was going to win the match.

The match wore on as they traded punches and kicks and pin attempts.

Reigns was the first to attempt his finisher. He tried for a Superman punch but Punk countered. Punk went to the top rope and hit a crossbody and assaulted Reigns with a flurry of punches.

Punk seemingly had the advantage. He hit Reigns with a running knee and a bulldog. He called for the GTS as Reigns laid face down on the mat. Punk went for it, but Reigns battled out of it.

Once again, the match moved to the outside. Punk hit a suicide dive that pushed Reigns onto the announce table. He used it to his advantage.

Then, Punk got a little dangerous. Reigns was laid out on the announce table. He went to the top rope but Reigns quickly got up and avoided the move.

PENTA HANGS ON TO INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN EXHILARATING LADDER MATCH AT WRESTLEMANIA 42

Reigns mocked Punk as he hung upside down on the turnbuckle. Reigns hit Punk with a Superman punch. Reigns then nailed Punk with the stairs and continued to talk trash to the camera.

Punk appeared helpless as Reigns picked him up. He set up Punk for a powerbomb and blasted him through the announce table. Punk was cut open and Reigns basked in the fans’ applause. He threw Punk into the ring and set him up for a spear.

However, Punk countered and picked him up over his shoulders. Punk hit the GTS and nearly pinned Reigns right there. Punk tried for another GTS, but Reigns nailed him with a spear. Again, for only a two count.

Reigns, frustrated, signaled he was going to steal Punk’s finisher. Punk tried to battle back, but Reigns was adamant. He put Punk on his shoulders but Punk countered. Punk kicked Reigns, knocking him down, but couldn’t get the three count.

Punk then resorted to mocking Reigns. He took the Ula Fala from a fan and tried to hit a spear. Reigns countered with a guillotine only for Punk to kick out of it and put Reigns into a chokehold. Reigns punched his way out of the submission hold and put Punk back in the guillotine.

As the two broke out of their respective submission holds, they got back up and hit each other with a double clothesline. The fans were ecstatic, yelling "This is awesome," as the match wound down. The crowd was split on who they were rooting for. Chants for both men rang out throughout the stadium as they traded punches.

RHEA RIPLEY CAPTURES WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP AT WRESTLEMANIA 42

Punk was taking off the tape from his hands and threw it onto the ring, distracting the referee enough to hit Reigns with a low blow. Punk tried to pin Reigns, but Reigns kicked out again.

What was it going to take to put either wrestler down?

Punk got Reigns outside the ring and back onto the announce table. He wanted one final blow. He stepped up to the top rope and nailed Reigns with a flying elbow drop.

The crowd waited with bated breath for the two to get back in the ring. Punk lifted Reigns on his shoulders and hit the GTS. Reigns then fell back onto his shoulders, but Punk couldn’t muster the strength to get off one more move.

Reigns got up and hit Punk with a spear. Punk looked at Reigns and crawled back to him. Reigns hit Punk with one more spear.

He pinned Punk and won the World Heavyweight Championship.

Reigns becomes a seven-time champion, and it's the first time he’s held the title since he lost to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40.

Rhea Ripley captures WWE Women's Championship at WrestleMania 42

Rhea Ripley’s path back to the top of the women’s division was a long one, but on Sunday night, she survived the storm and recaptured the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42.

Ripley won the Women’s Elimination Chamber match back in February to earn a shot at a title. She chose to set her sights on Jade Cargill’s championship. What transpired next was a war of words between the two goddess-like figures in the pro wrestling industry.

Cargill vowed to bring the disrespect to Ripley, even turning B-Fab and Michin against Ripley in the process. The match at WrestleMania was supposed to be a one-on-one match, but Michin and B-Fab got involved in the action.

Cargill had the advantage for most of the match. And just as the referee was going to throw Michin and B-Fab out, Iyo Sky came to the rescue. She hit a springboard moonsault on B-Fab and Michin.

‘DEMON’ FINN BALOR SETTLES SCORE WITH DOMINIK MYSTERIO AT WRESTLEMANIA 42

Ripley hit Cargill with a headbutt and a Riptide. But she couldn’t get the pin on Cargill.

Cargill hit Ripley with a boot, but it was almost to no avail. Ripley countered Cargill’s finisher, put her in the Riptide and pinned her for the win.

It marks the first WrestleMania loss for Cargill since she joined WWE.

‘Demon’ Finn Balor settles score with Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 42

Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio were once brothers in arms in the Judgment Day. The two helped the faction run "Monday Night Raw" for several years.

As championships and opportunities came and went, the rift between Balor and Mysterio grew. It came to a head when Balor caused Mysterio to lose the Intercontinental Championship to Penta. Balor leaving the Judgment Day left Mysterio and Liv Morgan as the leaders with JD McDonagh, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez sticking around.

The latter four chose to ride with Mysterio and attacked Balor on one episode of Raw.

The bitter war led to a match Sunday night at WrestleMania 42. To make matters more interesting, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce made the match a street fight hours before the show was set to begin.

Balor had vowed to bring the "Demon" out and he certainly did.

Balor made his way to the ring in his "Demon" gear, dripping with red and black paint. Mysterio was in a mask with other Mysterio supporters.

The two then proceeded to beat the crud out of each other.

Mysterio wrapped Balor’s head in between a chair and hit a 619 on him. He tried to pin Balor, but to no avail. At another point, Mysterio tossed Balor through a table set up in the corner.

As many have learned, it’s hard to keep your demons down. Mysterio learned the hard way.

Balor would not give up. Balor clotheslined Mysterio, hit him with a chair multiple times before wrapping his head in between the chair and drop-kicking him into the corner. Balor put Mysterio onto a table and hit the Coup de Grâce for the win.

Trick Williams wins United States Championship in WrestleMania debut

Trick Williams came into his WrestleMania debut ready to make an impact.

He told Fox News Digital in the days leading up to his United States Championship match against Sami Zayn that he was "hungry." On Sunday night at WrestleMania 42, he proved just how much hungrier he was and that he could eat with the best of them.

Williams hit the floor with "Whoop that trick" blaring throughout the crowd at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. His white mink coat had a tail as long as the entrance ramp. In the ring, the veteran waited for his opponent.

Zayn didn’t think Williams was ready to meet the moment. But he was wrong. Despite taking out Williams’ partner Lil Yachty, he lost focus of Williams during the match. Zayn hit an apron brainbuster and nailed Williams with a Helluva Kick on the barrier.

Zayn wanted the referee to count out Williams. The referee got to nine before Williams rushed back into the ring. Yachty also got back into the match and played mind games with Zayn. Williams hit the Trick Shot on Zayn, but couldn’t get the three count.

Zayn nailed Williams into the corner with a buckle bomb. He was going to hit another Helluva Kick, but Williams came back with the Trick Shot.

Williams pinned Zayn and picked up the tremendous victory.

Penta hangs on to Intercontinental Championship in exhilarating ladder match at WrestleMania 42

A six-man ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship with some of WWE’s best superstars proved to be one of the most exhilarating matches of WrestleMania 42.

Penta hoped to leave Las Vegas just like he came – as champion. He needed to fend off Je’Von Evans, JD McDonagh, Rusev and Dragon Lee to do so.

The reigning champ’s savviness in the ring proved to be too much for the five challengers as he was able to climb the ladder, grab the title and keep the Intercontinental Championship. But it didn’t come without some insane spots.

Penta and McDonagh were vying for position at the top of the ladder with another ladder wedged in between the corner and the ladder the two wrestlers were standing on. Penta got in position and hit McDonagh with a brutal Mexican Destroyer.

Mysterio also used the ladder for evil. With Rusev standing on the apron, and Penta in between, Mysterio bounced off the ropes and used Penta as a springboard to crush Rusev through a ladder that was set up between the announce table and the apron.

Evans was also massively impressive.

The "Bouncy" one was flying high across the ring at several points during the match. He hit multiple OG Cutters on his opponents, using his jumping abilities to take out his opponents. Evans nearly grabbed the Intercontinental Championship but Rusev interrupted his shot.

At the end, Penta hit another Mexican Destroyer on Evans and found himself all alone in the ring. He went to the top of the ladder and grabbed the belt for the win.

Penta has been the champion since March when he defeated Dominik Mysterio.

Oba Femi conquers ‘The Beast Incarnate,’ Brock Lesnar signals WWE retirement at WrestleMania 42

Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar entered their WrestleMania 42 match on Sunday night in what was poised to be a true "showcase of the immortals," even as the former was making his debut at the event.

Femi answered Lesnar’s open challenge to face him in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium a few weeks ago. Since then, the two have had multiple heated skirmishes to build up what pro wrestling fans expected to be an absolute slobber knocker.

"Oba" chants filled the air as "The Ruler" made his way down to the ring. Fans haven’t seen a specimen like him since Lesnar made his WWE debut in 2002. Lesnar received a big cheer from the crowd as well as he was making his first WrestleMania appearance since WrestleMania 39 where he dispatched Omos.

"The Beast Incarnate" locked eyes with Femi as he entered the ring and didn’t take them off him.

The two started out locking horns, trying to see who can get the advantage first. It was Femi as he clotheslined Lesnar and forced him outside of the ring to regroup.

Lesnar eventually pulled Femi outside of the ring and did some damage to his back. Lesnar got Femi back into the ring and hit him with three German suplexes. Lesnar appeared to have the upper hand.

As Femi looked to gain some momentum in the match, his running uppercuts turned into an F5 from Lesnar. But Lesnar didn’t cover. Instead, Femi was able to get back up and chokeslam Lesnar.

The move appeared to have startled Lesnar just enough. Femi then hit the Fall from Grace and pinned Lesnar for the unbelievable win.

Lesnar was still in the ring and Femi got the applause.

He got back into a sitting position and took off his gloves and boots, signaling that he was retiring from professional wrestling.

"Thank you, Brock!" chants were heard throughout the arena.

Lesnar was in tears as he hugged Paul Heyman, waving to the fans who packed the house.

If it is Lesnar’s final match in WWE, he will retire as a 10-time WWE champion and a two-time Royal Rumble winner. More importantly, he helped establish Femi as one of the top stars in the company.

ESPN's Stephen A Smith hears boos from WrestleMania 42 crowd

Danhausen’s curse may be real after all – just ask Stephen A. Smith and the New York Mets.

While the latter dropped their 10th game in a row, Smith got his share of the curse on Saturday night during Night 1 of WrestleMania 42. Smith was in attendance for WWE’s premier event of the year and heard massive boos from the crowd.

Smith was sitting ringside to watch the action. The ESPN star appeared on the videoboard above the ring at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. He appeared to embrace the reaction and smiled through it.

The boos came after Danhausen appeared on "First Take" on Friday – much to the chagrin of the sports pundit. Smith appeared perplexed by Danhausen’s appearance. Smith said he heard about Danhausen and called him a "bad luck charm."

Danhausen said Smith had been "rude" to him and put the dreaded "curse" on the commentator.

Danhausen agreed to "un-curse" the Mets during their losing streak. However, he told Fox News Digital earlier this week that there was a reason why the curse’s removal didn’t take full effect.

"I did un-curse the Mets. But it didn’t work because, I believe it was Brian Gewirtz who did not pay Danhausen. He did not send me my money so it did not take full effect," Danhausen said. "Once I have the money, perhaps it will actually work because right now it’s probably about a half of an un-cursing. It’s like a layaway situation."

NFL star George Kittle and NBA star Tyrese Haliburton were among the professional athletes in attendance for Night 1 of the event, which later featured Cody Rhodes retaining his Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton in the main event.

Kittle and Haliburton were showcased as two stars who were at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for the event. Haliburton was about to drink his beer when Kittle intercepted it away and chugged it for him. The WWE crowd was frenzied after Kittle’s steal.

Both Kittle and Haliburton are major WWE fans and have been at multiple events, including getting involved in matches.

Cody Rhodes left the ring with more than he bargained for on Saturday night after defeating Randy Orton for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42.

Orton hit Rhodes with the title belt and punt-kicked him in the head following the match. Rhodes was laid out in the middle of the ring as his music blared throughout Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. WWE’s medical staff came out to check on "The American Nightmare."

WWE later revealed on social media that Rhodes was dealing with a nasty swollen left eye following the match.

Rhodes won the match, but it wasn’t easy. He had to deal with Pat McAfee as a continued nuisance in his feud with Orton. McAfee started the match by hitting Rhodes with a microphone. But he would later be carried out on a stretcher after being put through the announce table by Jelly Roll.

Bianca Belair has put together an iconic in-ring career with WWE, but bad luck struck during her WrestleMania 41 match last year as she suffered broken fingers.

Belair returned to be the special guest referee for a match at Evolution in July for a match between Jade Cargill and Naomi. Since then, Belair hadn’t been seen on WWE programming – until Saturday.

She made a surprise appearance at WrestleMania 42 after John Cena announced that more than 50,800 were in attendance for the event. She walked down the ramp to the cheers of fans who had been waiting a while for her to return to the ring.

Belair had a different kind of announcement to make. She revealed to the WWE Universe she was pregnant with her first child.

Belair and Ford’s child is their first together.

Zayn is one of the best pro wrestlers in the industry. While the crowd has turned on him in recent weeks, Zayn may be the favorite going into the match because he’s a veteran in the game.

Bron Breakker crushes Seth Rollins with two spears in epic return at WrestleMania 42

Seth Rollins was supposed to go up against Gunther at WrestleMania 42 on Saturday night, but he wasn’t expecting a freight train to run through him.

Rollins appeared to be in the driver’s seat toward the end of the match. He hit Gunther with a pedigree on the announcer's table and followed up with a storm. All he had to do was get Gunther back in the ring and finish the job. As the referee tended to Gunther, a wild Bron Breakker appeared.

Breakker ran down the side of the entrance ramp at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas at full speed and tore through Rollins with a gnarly spear. He rolled Rollins back in the ring, spat on him and waited for Gunther to finish the job.

Gunther put Rollins in a sleeper hold, forcing "The Revolutionary" to tap out.

Gunther walked to the back as the winner. Breakker was hung around to pick apart the scraps.

Breakker has been out of action for a few weeks with an injury, likely costing him a match of some kind at WrestleMania 42. Nevertheless, he still had bad blood with Rollins as their rivalry turned up a notch.

This will not be the last of Breakker and Rollins. On the flip side, Paul Heyman will now owe Gunther a favor. It’ll will be interesting to see how the favor gets cashed in.

Cody Rhodes retains Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42, but Randy Orton gets last licks

Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton put on a pure wrestling match at WrestleMania 42 on Saturday night in Las Vegas and the looming distraction was eliminated for the most part.

Pat McAfee entered the ring with Orton to begin the match. The presence of the ESPN commentator was clearly a sore spot for fans as he received some of the loudest boos of the night at Allegiant Stadium. He attacked Rhodes with a microphone to start the match.

Once Rhodes got his bearings, he pushed Orton to the side and turned his attention to McAfee. He cleared off the announce table, placed McAfee on it. He allowed Jelly Roll to hit an elbow drop onto the former NFL player. McAfee was booed as he was carried out of the arena on a stretcher.

The match finally began. It moved a slow, but calculated pace for the most part. Rhodes, who normally doesn’t target his ailing opponents, kept working Orton’s back for the entire match. The crowd watched silently as Rhodes and Orton traded blows and tried to gain advantage on one another.

It wasn’t until Rhodes pushed Orton into the ring post outside of the squared circle where the crowd finally woke up. Orton was busted open. Rhodes tried to steal Orton’s finisher and give him an RKO but it was countered. Orton then stole Rhodes’ tactic and hit "The American Nightmare" with a Cross Rhodes.

Moments later, Rhodes finally hit Orton with an RKO. But still, no fall. Orton responded with an RKO of his own. He could smell his 15th WWE championship, but Rhodes kicked out.

Orton got Rhodes again and hit him again with an RKO. The match wore on and Charles Robinson was eventually hit with an RKO. There was no referee. Orton tried to kick Rhodes in the groin reminiscent of what McAfee did to him on SmackDown a few weeks ago.

Rhodes countered and kicked Orton in the groin instead. Rhodes went to the top rope when Orton came out of nowhere with the RKO once more. There was no referee to count, until McAfee made a miraculous recovery.

McAfee sprinted down to the ring and counted for Orton, but Rhodes kicked out at two.

McAfee tried to yell at Orton to continue his attack, but Orton nailed McAfee with an RKO. Rhodes took advantage of Orton taking his eye off the ball for a split-second. Rhodes hit the Cross Rhodes and pinned Orton for the win to retain the championship.

The exhausted and bloody competitors caught their breath in the ring, but Orton was far from finished. He grabbed the belt from Rhodes and hit him with it.

Paige makes triumphant WWE return at WrestleMania 42, captures tag titles with Brie Bella

Ahead of the start of the fatal four-way match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, Nikki Bella came out with Brie Bella and announced she could no longer participate in the match because of an ankle injury.

She said, however, she called a friend for backup.

Paige’s music hit and the crowd at WrestleMania 42 went absolutely berserk. Paige would team up with Brie Bella for the match against champions Nia Jax and Lash Legend, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair and Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.

Bella started the match for her team. The crowd was eager for Bella to tag in Paige, and when she did, the crowd went wild. Paige took care Jax before Bliss went on the attack.

Flair tried to help Bliss, but was hit with Nikki Bella’s crutch. Bliss had Paige in position for a top-rope move but took her eye off Paige enough for her to recover. Paige countered Bliss and hit the RamPaige. She pinned Bliss for the win.

Paige and Brie Bella became the new tag team champions.

Paige started at Florida Championship Wrestling in 2011 before moving up to the NXT brand. She made her WWE debut in 2014 when she challenged AJ Lee for the Divas Championship. Paige won the match and became the youngest Divas champion at age 21.

She would help usher in a new generation of women’s wrestlers in 2015 as part of the women’s revolution. But neck injuries sidelined her for two years.

Morgan defeated Vaquer with the help of Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez to become a three-time holder of the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 42. Perez and Rodriguez provided the outside interference Morgan needed to take advantage of Vaquer.

As Morgan, Perez and Rodriguez were outside of the ring, Vaquer hit a springboard crossbody. But she was only able to take out Perez and Rodriguez. Morgan went on the attack from there.

Morgan last won the World Women’s Championship at the King and Queen of the Ring in May 2024. She held it until Jan. 6, 2025, losing it to Rhea Ripley on the Netflix debut. A subsequent injury forced Morgan out of action, but she made her return at Survivor Series: WarGames.

Since then, she’s been on a roll and, after winning the women’s Royal Rumble match, Morgan is now a champion again.

Becky Lynch entered an atmosphere no other WWE women’s superstar has ever reached as she won the Women’s Intercontinental Championship over AJ Lee on Saturday night at WrestleMania 42.

Lynch became the first person to hold the Women’s Intercontinental Championship three times after she pinned Lee. She first won the title against Lyra Valkyria in June 2025 and then again against Maxxine Dupri in November.

Lee gave Lynch the chance at the title in the weeks prior to WrestleMania 42. But it appeared Lee played right into Lynch’s plans. Despite arguing with referee Jessica Carr for most of the match, Lynch was able to tactfully tear down a rope buckle and use it to her advantage.

Lynch hit Lee with a Manhandle Slam and pinned her for the win.

It’s the second straight year Lynch will leave Las Vegas as champion. She returned to WWE at WrestleMania 41, teaming with Valkyria, to win the women’s tag titles. She will now leave Allegiant Stadium as the women’s intercontinental champion.

Lynch is now a seven-time women’s champion, three-time women’s intercontinental champion and two-time tag team champion.

Lee’s reign as champion ended really before it could really begin. WrestleMania 42 was her first appearance at the event in 11 years. It’s unclear where Lee will go from here.

Jacob Fatu puts Drew McIntyre in the ‘rear view’ in unsanctioned match at WrestleMania 42

Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre had several major skirmishes on SmackDown in the buildup to their WrestleMania 42 match. So much so, they were put into an unsanctioned match on Saturday night.

Fatu vowed on the final "Friday Night SmackDown" before WrestleMania to put McIntyre in the "rear view." He did just that.

The two wrestling behemoths brutalized each other to the best of their abilities. The match itself started on the outside of the ring as Fatu pushed McIntyre into the ring announcer’s corner and introduced tables, chairs and a toolbox into the match.

It wouldn’t last long as McIntyre got the momentum back. He took a cellphone and recorded a video of himself before bashing Fatu’s head with it.

As the match wore on, McIntyre’s frustration boiled. He dove over the ring ropes onto Fatu on the outside of the ring. He tried to pin Fatu, but he would kick out. It would happen often as Fatu just wouldn’t stay down.

McIntyre even pushed Fatu off the top rope and through a table. But Fatu just wouldn’t stay down.

Fatu got back into the ring and nailed McIntyre with a toolbox to the head. McIntyre fell onto a table setup in the ring. Fatu performed a moonsault from the top rope, crashing through McIntyre.

Fatu covered McIntyre and picked up the victory.

It’s Fatu second straight win at WrestleMania in two appearances. He defeated LA Knight for the United States Championship last year.

ISHOWSPEED shows off incredible athleticism with Speed Slash from ring post onto Logan Paul at WrestleMania 42

Popular streamer ISHOWSPEED didn’t want to be involved in a six-man tag team match with Logan Paul and Austin Theory against Jey and Jimmy Uso and LA Knight at WrestleMania 42 in the first place. But after costing Knight a victory on Raw in the weeks prior, he seemingly had to.

He entered Allegiant Stadium with Paul and Theory to a barrage of boos. It was unclear how he was going to move in the ring with his lone appearance coming at the Royal Rumble and being absolutely crushed by Bron Breakker.

Speed moved fine, hitting Knight with a body slam. His ultimate sin came at the end of the match when he pushed Knight into Paul to knock him off the apron. Theory yelled at Paul, taking exception to the move. As Theory had Knight in a headlock, Speed was hesitant to attack Knight.

Instead, Knight threw Theory into Speed and hit a BFT on Theory to win the match.

The moment was far from over as Paul attacked Speed at the end of the match. Paul cleared the Spanish announce table, angling to jump from the top rope and put Speed through it. Instead, Knight and the Usos saved Speed from Paul’s attack. The Usos hit a 1D on Paul and the trio set Speed up to do a little bit of his own damage.

Knight held Paul on the announce table that he cleared. Speed went up to the top of ring post.

Speed hit a jaw-dropping Speed Splash, sending the Las Vegas crowd into a frenzy.

Knight and the Usos brought Speed back into the ring to celebrate. Even though Speed may have been on the losing side, he got a positive WrestleMania moment out of it.
