Kelsea Ballerini stuns in striped bikini before hinting at new music collab

Kelsea Ballerini is kicking hot girl summer off a little early.

In a recent Instagram post, the 32-year-old country singer posted a photo dump featuring some of the fun she's been having recently, including a beach picture.

"Getting my steps in, making music, finding ramen, learning sports (cars go fast!), and simply vibing," she wrote in the caption.

One photo showed Ballerini laying on her stomach on a beach towel while sitting on the seashore with the ocean behind her. In the photo she can be seen sporting a black and white striped bikini top, gold hoop earrings and black sunglasses, with her hair styled in braids.

Ballerini showed off her figure in another photo, featuring her in a short blue romper with a plunging halter neckline – with her toned legs on display. She accessorized the look with strappy heels and a gold purse.

A third photo featured a text conversation between the "Cowboys Cry Too" singer and Patrick Droney, which teased new music. The text conversation featured an audio file titled, "Math of Us," with both Ballerini and Patrick saying they are "so happy" with it.

Ballerini made headlines earlier this year when news broke that she and Chase Stokes had broken up after first getting together in January 2023. After nearly three years together, they briefly called it quits in September 2025, before getting back together and breaking up a second time in February.

"Kelsea and Chase have broken up again. It happened just the other day," a source told Us Weekly after their second breakup.

Another source told People at the time that "their lives are in very different places right now" and merging them has been difficult, later adding, "Kelsea's been so supportive of him throughout their relationship, but it hasn't been reciprocated."

Following their breakup, Ballerini fueled cheating rumors when she commented on an Instagram video shared by fellow country singer Ashley Cooke, which featured an unreleased song about a man with "wandering eyes."

Country star Lainey Wilson and her fiancé Devlin "Duck" Hodges have tied the knot after five years together.

On Thursday, the 33-year-old singer shared a joint Instagram post with Vogue magazine announcing that she and the 30-year-old former professional football player had wed, providing an inside look at their nuptials.

Wilson and Hodges were married on May 10 in Dickson, Tennessee at The Ruskin Cave with a waterfall backdrop and a country-inspired celebration.

While speaking with Vogue, Wilson recalled how she and Hodges discovered The Ruskin Cave, a historic natural limestone cave that has become a popular venue for rustic weddings, and knew that it was the perfect location for their big day."

"Duck and I were driving backroads in Tennessee and saw a billboard for The Ruskin Cave," she remembered. "Duck said, ‘You wanna get married there?’ I said, ‘Done deal.’ We dropped by, saw the venue, and fell in love with the natural beauty of the cave and the simplicity of the property."

The Grammy Award winner and Hodges' ceremony was held on a cobblestone ledge at the foot of a waterfall.

"My absolute dream ceremony," Wilson told Vogue via People magazine. "There’s a small waterfall flowing down the hill behind the altar and windows. The waterfall is what convinced us to do the ceremony in this spot."

"You could hear the water trickling down and birds singing, and we had a nice spring breeze," Wilson recalled to Vogue. "I arrived in a white horse-drawn carriage and walked down the aisle with my Deddy to join Duck at the altar."

The couple exchanged vows in a ceremony officiated by Lainey’s friend and mentor, Wes Williams, and shared communion together before their family and friends.

"I have never seen Duck smile as big as he did then," Wilson remembered. "It made me feel giddy about turning the page into this next chapter of marriage. We were both anxious to say ‘I do!’"

"Being from Louisiana, I wanted to bring in a little bit of Cajun flair, so naturally we hired a 12-piece jazz band called Rebirth and had a Cajun meal from the chefs at my bar, Bell Bottoms Up," Wilson added.

"The cherry blossom represents living in the moment, and that’s exactly what we did," Wilson said of the design.

Meanwhile, Hodges donned a dark green bespoke suit by D. Lacquaniti along with a custom gold bolo decorated with green stones, cufflinks, and a hat pin by Mud Lowery, custom boots by Wilson's brand Golden West Boots and a Charlie 1 Horse cowboy hat.

The New Orleans musical institution Rebirth Brass Band led the wedding party and guests in a second line march — a Big Easy wedding tradition — to the cocktail hour.

"It was so lovely to have that touch of my home in Louisiana up here in Tennessee," Wilson said.

The group later participated in a second line march to the couple's wedding reception inside the cave.

"To close out a perfect evening, Duck and I followed the band through a send-off line of sparklers and cheering loved ones, climbed into an old white Ford truck, and drove off!"

"We went to a spot on the water in Nashville called Moby Dicky’s, and then we went to Silverado’s," Wilson told Vogue of their first date. "We’ve been pretty inseparable since."

The duo kept their relationship private before making their debut as a couple at the 2023 ACM Awards. Hodges proposed to Wilson in February 2025. The country music star later revealed she was surprised by the former NFL quarterback's proposal.

"So, I had talked myself into thinking he was going to do it that day," Wilson said, captured on video by News Channel 5 Nashville. "And then I called my sister. I said, ‘He’s going to propose to me today.’ And she was like, 'I gotta go.'

"And then I talked myself out of it because I thought, 'Man, I sure would be upset if I talked myself into this and that don’t happen.'"

Hodges and Wilson had been planning to visit the George Jones estate, which had been listed by one of Hodges' friends, a real estate agent. The two made a plan to stop by during the week after the 2025 Super Bowl.

"And then, as we [pulled] up, I realized that there were different plans," Wilson explained. "So, he had it all set up. He had the candles and the picture frames, and it could not have been more perfect."

Sometimes, though, you stumble across something on the timeline that you can't ignore. I didn't think I'd spend 20 minutes today watching Eric Church give a University of North Carolina commencement speech, but it's what I did.

And then I watched it again.

I'd encourage everyone here to watch it, too. Church, the 49-year-old country singer, used his guitar to give what the internet is (rightfully) labeling one of the most powerful addresses ... ever? I'm no expert on the subject, but it's hard to argue.

Faith. Family. Spouse. Ambition. Community. You. Six pillars of life to go along with six guitar strings.

Yes, it's long. But goodness, what a speech. You don't get college speeches like this much anymore. This is probably considered a throwback by today's standards, especially on a college campus.

Those places can be cesspools. I don't need to explain why, because you all already know. It's probably why these 10(ish) minutes from Eric Church are so refreshing.

Church talked about faith, which, again, is a slippery slope in 2026 — especially on a college campus.

He talked about the importance of marriage, calling it the second-most important decision you'll ever make, next to your faith.

"You will go through hard seasons with your spouse," he said.

He talked about the G-string, which, shockingly, drew laughs from the college crowd. Can't imagine why! That's ambition.

"When you fail, and you will fail, Hemingway wrote it plainly, right in the sternum: 'The world breaks everyone. Afterward, the best of us are stronger at the broken places.' Get back up, tune the string, keep playing."

At the end, Church — who actually attended Appalachian State — finished with an original song, "Carolina." All along the way, the message was clear.

"The difference between a life that sounds like music and a life that sounds like noise is whether you stop and listen," he said, "whether you’re honest enough to hear which string has drifted out of tune and humble enough to make the adjustment instead of just turning up the volume and hoping nobody notices."

Granger Smith says fame can become ‘poison’ after leaving country music for ministry

Granger Smith is embarking on a new chapter.

The singer, who left country music in 2023 to focus on ministry at his local church outside Austin, Texas, exclusively told Fox News Digital that his new book, "Poison in the Well," will be published Sept. 8.

The 46-year-old’s previous book, "Like a River," was published in 2023 before his farewell from the music industry. It focuses on how he coped with grief after his 3-year-old son, River, died in a drowning accident in 2019.

"This one is more exciting to me because ‘Like a River’ was wrapped so much in my personal story of losing my son, River, our journey through grief, loss and recovery, and then the birth of my son Maverick," he explained. "And that really encompasses that era. And in that era, God saved me."

"…God saving me was what spurred so much change in my life," the father of four said. "…I left an entire music career. It changed the whole direction of my life and my family’s life. The new book walks directly down that journey so that if anyone says, ‘Your book "Like a River" was inspiring,’ then I could hand them ‘Poison in the Well’ and say, ‘These are the mechanics of why everything changed after.’"

Smith admitted that six months after losing his son, he found himself asking a question he never thought he would: What if his faith couldn’t hold him up?

"…Most of this conversation we have now in this book, it’s all in hindsight," he said. "It’s me really digging through what happened to me. I think the first time I asked the question was, ‘What if everything I believe about my faith was actually built on shifting sand?’"

"And that is a question I believe a lot of people would ask in the deep, dark throes of grief when you lose a loved one, a marriage or a job — or, this might sound trivial, but it’s not — even a pet," he said. "Anything that you lose that you love, and you’ve created an identity around — including a career — when you lose that, you start to think, ‘Why do I feel so lost? Why do I feel like I have no hope?’

"And for those people who have a faith in any religion, they will start to question the validity of that religion that they stand on."

"I thought, ‘I’m a Christian. Why do I feel hopeless? Doesn’t the Bible say we’re supposed to have hope? And I don’t,’" he reflected. "If that’s the case, then what am I standing on? Because this feels like sand. That was a time of deep reflection."

Since walking away from country music, Smith has found healing in connecting with others who have also faced loss. Now at a different stage, he uses his ministry to guide people through grief and spiritual doubt, reexamining what it means to hold onto faith in difficult seasons.

"I was a musician who was always interested in the meet-and-greets," he explained. "I remember reading stories of certain artists that said the meet-and-greets are the worst part of their day because they bring them down. They hear everyone’s problems, and then they have to go perform. And sometimes, musicians would even cancel meet-and-greets so they could just play the music.

"I was one of the strange ones who actually liked hearing people and learning about their struggles, joys and sorrows."

"Since leaving music and focusing on ministry, that’s all I do: focus on the people," he said.

"I think I became less interested in entertaining people and more interested in helping people. That has given me so much joy. I sleep so much better at night knowing that today’s work was enough — it’s not about the next single, the next album, the next tour."

"That’s an incredibly freeing feeling," he added.

But Smith hasn’t completely ruled out music for good. He hopes to use songwriting to help others experience the Bible in a more personal way — an idea sparked by his children.

"There’s a new way that God has circled music back into my life," he said.

"People often ask, ‘Are you done with music? Will there ever be more music from you?’ And the answer was always ‘I don’t know.’ I don’t know what God will do, but God does give each of us certain nuances that we’re better at than other things. And I’ve always loved music, and I’ve always enjoyed speaking through music."

Smith said his family starts each day with a Bible story and prayer, then sets aside a few minutes to sing together.

"I realized that I could make up songs according to Scriptures," said Smith.

"We could sing fun little songs that are just Scripture songs and add a melody to them that’s easy to memorize. And so, we started doing that a few years ago. And then, I realized maybe these could be helpful for others, not only kids, but also other people — to be able to think through Scripture and to memorize Scripture in a unique way by singing it."

"So maybe in the future, there’ll be an album by me released that has Scripture songs," he teased.

Smith pointed out that there are things about showbiz he doesn’t miss.

"The problem with music for me was never writing songs, singing songs, or releasing songs," he explained. "What became problematic for me was performing on tour for a lot of reasons. It took me away from my family. It took me away from my local church. I was missing all of that because I was always touring on Saturday nights."

"It became an idol for me," Smith admitted.

"It was very hard for me to separate promoting myself and my music, standing on a stage in front of a lot of people. To say not to let it go to my head is almost underplaying it, because it’s nearly impossible for anyone to be worshiped in that way.

"And in music, it was usually about trying to get adoration from the crowd, needing applause. It means you’re succeeding in the thing that you’re trying to do, which is dangerous. It’s dangerous for a human."

"Your heart just breaks for these megastars," said Smith. "The goal of all the touring, all the concerts, and all the music releases is ultimate stardom. And it’s never satisfied by a certain level of being famous. It always craves more. The result is a man or a woman who’s lost all sense of who they are. Men and women are not meant to be worshiped. We’re not created to be worshiped. And if we are, it actually hurts us. It becomes poison in our veins."

Today, Smith hopes his book will help others grow a closer relationship with God during the hardest times of their lives, just as he has.

"I want people to see through my story that I was living a life thinking I was earning something from God instead of loving God for what He has done," he said. "Now, I want to do things to please Him in response to that."

"…The book also reveals some toxins that we as humans tend to fall into. I look at them like check-engine lights. If you’re doing this, or you’re involved in that, it might be a check-engine light that you don’t see … that’s the goal."

The longtime, Emmy Award-winning host took qualms with superfans spinning a narrative that the show's once ruthless narrative has softened over the years.

"We experiment with all kinds of new ideas, and we tried to usher in the most unpredictability we’ve ever had," Probst told Variety.

Fan-favorite contestant Cirie Fields was taken aback by seeing the "Country Fried" singer — who is also a close Probst friend — appear on the island in Fiji during Season 50.

"We’re in a bubble. So to walk out on the beach and see Zac Brown standing in front of me, it’s like, 'How did you get in?'" she said.

"We’ve never had someone from the outside come be a part of this. That let me know that Season 50 was about to be off the rails. Mind-blowing things that would never happen in the 'Survivor' of old are happening on Season 50."

Brown's guest spot became a hot topic on social media after viewers watched the country singer spearfishing to feed immunity challenge winners and then playing them music while they ate.

Additionally, Brown appeared in a number of individual confessionals and received more air time than a few contestants.

"It’s fascinating to me that a couple of people, most of them either former players or people who will never play, criticize the show, and it gets momentum," he said.

Probst, 64, began hosting "Survivor" at its inception in 2000. One decade into hosting the popular competition show, Probst became disillusioned by the audience's desire to revel in conflict.

"I didn’t like the stories we were telling, and I was losing my joy of the format, therefore my joy of the job, therefore my joy of life," Probst said.

"I didn’t want vitriol and who can be the meanest, most spiteful person."

At one point, he tried to quit, but was met with resistance by executive producer Mark Burnett after confessing he was "done" with the gig.

It was Burnett who recognized that Probst likely needed some time off, in addition to more responsibility on the back end of the show.

"It was the best move I’ve made in my career."

While recognizing the cultural impact, Burnett admitted that playing "Survivor" is similar to a "management training test."

Do you think this is good behavior for a youth baseball player? How do you think this correlates to the upbringing of the child and contributes to his inability to function at a job or in society without having the attention focused on them because they perceive themselves as special?

It started with millennials and then Gen Z, and now we have a new batch of spoiled brats. An example of this entitled individual can be seen on any airplane, any day of the week. People who think it’s all about them and don’t understand we’re not here to serve them and they’re not special. – Tom T. checks in: I have to agree with Duncan’s email about the Savannah Bananas. I got a chance to purchase 5 tickets when Firefighters and the Texas Tailgaters came to our single A stadium last year. It was a bargain… 30$ per ticket.

The pregame was a big deal… a rock concert, autographs, and 20$ beers, just like the big leagues. Once we got to our seat, it was just….... baseball and music. The Bananas’ emcee was not synced up properly with the stadium sound system, so you could not understand a word that he said. He sounded like the school teacher on a Charlie Brown cartoon. If you can’t hear the emcee, you don’t understand any of the "bits" that they do, or the special scoring. It was just continuous loud music with baseball. Given the hype, I was honestly expecting the pitcher to throw a flaming baseball to a hitter with a flaming bat. No Dice. God willing, I will take a grandchild someday, but I’m out for now.

Kinsey: I get it. Times change. The rawness of the Bananas that we felt years ago has worn off. The organization has grown up. Hell, even the field they play on in Savannah is no longer dirt. When I was there a few years ago, the Bananas players had to work the dirt infield. There was no ground's crew. The players were responsible. Now? It's all field turf. The entire field.

Still, there's something about a hot July night on the patio with my boys half-watching the Bananas game, swimming, eating, listening to music and enjoying summer. By that time of the year, I just want silliness. Give me the Bananas doing backflips to catch balls and Stilts being called in to pitch. To me, it's still fun in the right moments of life.

Shania Twain has fans buzzing after teasing a new single on social media.

The 60-year-old country music superstar first sparked speculation that there would be new music coming soon with a post shared to Instagram on Wednesday featuring her in cowboy boots and a white long-sleeve shirt and skirt with fringe.

The clip features her walking in a field approaching a stack of wood while holding an axe. The screen cuts to black as she raises the ax to chop a piece of wood with the words, "Don’t touch that dial. I’ll be right back," flashing on the screen.

Fans quickly took to the comments section to express their excitement over the possibility of new music from Twain, with one writing, "I can't wait to hear the new music ❤️❤️ Jumping for joy 😍."

As for the bad news, Parton — who originally postponed her Las Vegas residency due to health issues in September — said she hasn't quite reached her ability to perform at the level she'd like.

"It's going to take me a little while before I'm up to stage-performance level because some of the meds and treatments make me a little bit swimmy-headed, as my grandma used to say," she quipped. "And of course I can't be dizzy, carrying around banjos, guitars, and such on five-inch heels... not to mention all those heavy rhinestone outfits, the big hair, my big personality."

In an effort to better explain her current health journey, Parton described herself as an "old classic car."

"Once restored it can be better than ever, but when they raised the hood on this old antique they realized that I need to rebuild my engine, that my transmission is slipping, my oil pan is leaking, and my muffler is busted, and my shocks and pistons need to be replaced," she said. "Because you know, as well as I know, that I can't lose my spark."

"I know I'm still crazy, but they didn't mention nothing about my mental health," she added.

Parton went on to say that she's always had issues with kidney stones, which eventually caused her "immune system and my digestive system got all out of whack."

The country legend acknowledged that while her light sense of humor regarding a heavy topic can be "silly," she's trying her best to keep "everything light and airy."

"I still do videos, I still record, I run up and down to Dollywood every now and then. And I'm working hard on getting my museum and my hotel open in Nashville later this year. And I am spending a lot of time writing and reworking on my Broadway musical. It's called 'Dolly, a true original musical. And that's gonna be opening later in New York this fall or early winter."

Parton, then, announced her plans to pull the plug on her Las Vegas residency. According to Ticketmaster, Parton's six shows in September have been canceled.

"I am truly sorry that I'm gonna miss all of you that had tickets to see me in Las Vegas," she said. "Well, you get on to Vegas. You have a big time. And hopefully, sometime you'll come up to New York and maybe see my show. And I'll see you somewhere down the line."

Over the past year, fans have expressed concern for Parton since the death of her husband Carl Dean, who died March 3, 2025, at age 82 after 58 years of marriage.

"I just want you to know also that a lot of you have been concerned about me and Carl and you were so great about that," she said in the video. "But after going through a year first, I mean the holidays, and especially our wedding anniversary and the day of his death, March 3rd, you know, that was hard for me. I will always love him and I'll always miss him, but you would be surprised at how much your love and concern meant to me during that time."

Country music singer David Allan Coe died at 86 years old on Wednesday.

Coe’s widow, Kimberly, confirmed his death to Rolling Stone.

"One of the best singers, songwriters, and performers of our time [and] never to be forgotten," she told the outlet. "My husband, my friend, my confidant and my life for many years. I'll never forget him and I don’t want anyone else to ever forget him either."

A representative for Coe told The Music Universe the singer died in intensive care at around 5 p.m. EST.

"David is a musical treasure," the representative said, adding that Coe "appreciated all of the fans."

According to Rolling Stone, Coe faced financial troubles in the mid-2010s and pleaded guilty in 2015 to tax-related charges. He was sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to pay nearly $1 million in back taxes.

Rock, whose full name is Robert Ritchie, joined War Secretary Pete Hegseth Monday in Washington, D.C. for a private ride in military helicopters one month after the U.S. Army closed an investigation into an unplanned flyover at the musician's Nashville home.

On Monday, the Pentagon confirmed Army helicopters operated in the National Capital Region in support of a Freedom 250th community event.

A war of words erupted on the Internet after Hegseth created an X post celebrating the experience, which the "Bawitdaba" singer shared with his own followers.

"Did Kid Rock pay or did we," one user asked while sharing a screengrab with estimated operating costs of U.S. Apache helicopters running upward of $7,000 per flight hour.

"The funniest part about this is firing anyone competent who criticizes the misuse of military resources during a time of war and a time when taxpayers are having to pay for an apparent diminished security situation that needs to be fixed," another X user noted.

Another user noted, "Those who were throwing temper tantrums about the Apache crew saying hello to Kid Rock, simply hate America or are degenerate control freaks (undeserving of authority)."

One fan asked the question, "Why let this trigger you so much? EVERYONE is enjoying this."

The AH-64 Apache helicopters reportedly flew over the No Kings protest in downtown Nashville earlier in the day.

A spokesperson for Fort Campbell told local WKRN an investigation has been launched into the flight at Kid Rock’s Whites Creek home.

"Fort Campbell leadership is aware of a video circulating on social media depicting AH-64 Apache helicopters operating in the vicinity of a private residence associated with Mr. Robert Ritchie (also known as ‘Kid Rock’). The command has initiated an investigation to review the circumstances surrounding this activity," said Maj. Jonathon Bless, 101st Airborne Division Public Affairs Officer.

Rimes, 43, admitted she was "very grateful" for her fan support, but had to bow out of two upcoming performances in Washington.

"Due to severe illness, I am unable to travel & perform this week," Rimes shared on her Instagram Stories Wednesday afternoon.

At the time, Adcock said he didn't have a reason to fight Bryan, but decided to stir him after receiving threats.

"I don't think anyone's scared of Zach Bryan," Adcock continued. "I'm just an adult, and fighting him would have only meant going to jail, missing my set, and falling into a Zach Bryan lawsuit – and we all know he likes to manipulate people with money."

"He knew where I was all day, he knew my set time, he knew where I'd be standing, and he created this whole ‘I’m bad a--, jump over the fence' narrative, just to try to make himself look bigger, tougher even though he could have just walked in the gate – he had been in there all day."

He added, "And at the end of the day, I know my decision I made was right. I didn't take the Zach Bryan bait, and I'll be praying for him to get better because he sure needs it."

The country stars' feud first ignited after Adcock blasted Bryan for blowing off a young fan.

"We waited 3 hours outside to meet Zach Bryan… he completely blew everyone off and drove away like a jerk," the fan wrote on social media at the time.

Bryan reportedly replied in a now-deleted comment, "You’re not entitled after someone plays two and a half hours to a picture or a hello. GOMD [Get off my d---]."

Adcock fired back on X and wrote, "If you can’t handle the criticism of a 14 year old why do people idolize you?"

"That kid was head over heels to meet you and spent/ parents spent a ton of money to see you. He’s got feeling too and you’re a ‘grown man’ nearly 30… They’re the only reason you are around."

Morgan Wallen donates $1.2M to his old high school for a state-of-the-art athletic field upgrade

It's always cool when a celebrity is willing and able to give back to their alma mater, and man, oh man, did country music star Morgan Wallen give his old high school a heck of a gift.

Wallen is, of course, one of the biggest names in not just country music, but music full-stop, and when that's the case, you've usually amassed quite the bank account.

Unless, of course, you go all MC Hammer and spend most of it.

Wallen — through his Morgan Wallen Foundation — has given quite the gift to Gibbs High School in Knox County, Tennessee.

Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs — yes, a.k.a. Kane from his wrestling days — tweeted his thanks to Wallen by sharing a resolution from a recent meeting where Wallen's donation got the thumbs up.

"A resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving a grant agreement with Morgan Wallen Foundation for receipt of grant funding in the amount of $1,200,000.00 for Gibbs High School to upgrade the current Gibbs High School baseball field into a versatile, state-of-the-art multi-use athletic field; and in conjunction with the multi-use field project, approving of Gibbs High School constructing a softball hitting and pitching facility on the school's campus," it reads.

This isn't the first time that Wallen — who played baseball at the school — gave back.

According to the Morgan Wallen Foundation website, he gave the school's band, chorus and baseball team a $35,000 donation after a surprise performance in 2023.

Man, how cool is that? I'd love to do something like that for my high school someday.

Maybe not quite as extravagant. Maybe I'd donate some new calculators as an homage to my struggles with math that led me to a career in writing.
