Olivia Dunne cozies up with Baywatch model Brooks Nader, Oxford police on alert & Rockies girl Gianna Girardi!

Olivia Dunne and her Baywatch co-stars are gearing up for a big season while Miller Lite continues to raise the bar.

Middle Hump Day of May? Sure, why not?! We're halfway to June, somehow, and that means ... well, it means very little. It's a pretty slow(ish) time of year, which is fine with me.

I know what's coming. I know what's on the horizon. In fact, we're already starting to get a little taste of it. The college football world is heating up ahead of "spring" meetings later this month. The NFL's full schedule gets released tomorrow. We've got OTAs and minicamps in a few weeks. We're about nine weeks away from training camps.

College GameDay just announced its first two locations of the college football season. Herbie's dog is resting up. Again, it's slow right now. But, I know what's coming. It ain't that far away.

For now, though, we ride the wave and see where it takes us (whatever that means). Let's ride.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE OUTKICK CULTURE COVERAGE

Welcome to a Hump Day Nightcaps — the one where Olivia Dunne parties with her Baywatch friends while Miller Lite continues to raise the bar ahead of next month's FIFA World Cup. I think Molson Coors is in for a big second half of 2026, folks. Strap in.

What else? I've got Rockies girl Gianna Girardi dumping out #content from a dominant few weeks, the Oxford Police Department is ready for Lane Kiffin, and Mr. October got fooled by a totally plausible AI video of a hot blonde running onto a soccer pitch.

We've all been there, Reggie. Chin up!

OK, grab you a Miller Lite in a giant soccer ball, and settle in for a Hump Day 'Cap!

Olivia Dunne has another dominant outing

Look at that thing. I hate soccer. Despise it. Won't watch a single second. Not one. But buddy, I will absolutely throw some money at a soccer ball filled with beer cans. Genius. So simple, so effective.

A few weeks ago, I got into a heated back-and-forth with a reader because he was pissed at my love for Busch Light Apple. Any domestic beer, really. He told me to stop giving the big corporations money, and start supporting local beer. And that's fair.

My wife is an artist. Believe me, I know all about "supporting local." I get it. When I go to the brewery down the road, I support local. I'm all for it. Funky Buddha Floridian is probably my favorite "local" beer in the state.

But ...

I do love a good Miller Lite. Sorry, I like what I like. Now they're putting cans in a soccer ball on the heels of partnering with Olivia Dunne? How am I supposed to say no to this?

Yeah, I just can't. I have to respect good, smart advertising, especially after what I lived through in 2023 with Bud Light. Fair is fair, and I'm simply being fair here.

PS: The old Miller Lite blue cans are the best of the best. Elite stuff.

OK, let's get this class going with Miller Lite influencer Olivia Dunne dominating the Fox red carpet with her Baywatch friends last night:

Oxford might be in trouble here

Olivia Dunne and Brooks Nader on the same set? Again, I assume the new Baywatch reboot will be a tough watch. Most reboots are. But I will be DIALED in whenever it premieres. I was too young for the Baywatch craze back in the '90s. I'll be damned if I miss out this time.

Give 'em hell, ladies!

Speaking of hell, let's check in on the Oxford Police Department ahead of the recently announced Sept. 19 night game between LSU and Ole Miss!

ONE DAY AFTER LANE KIFFIN MESS, STEVE SARKISIAN TORCHES OLE MISS FOR 'BASKETWEAVING' CLASSES IN OXFORD

Football, more football, and Mr. October

Perfect. No notes. 10/10. Speaking of Oxford potentially burning to the ground, I did get an email from a student this week on the heels of Lane Kiffin telling Vanity Fair that he had a hard time recruiting five-stars because of ... segregation.

Shockingly, boots on the ground in Oxford say that's complete BS.

From Matt:

Just read the comments Lane made about recruits and parents and segregation in Oxford BS. My oldest daughter went to Ole Miss for grad school. We visited many times. Never saw an ounce of segregation, racism, or anything related. Actually, her first year there (fall 2022-2023) she worked with a kid at Neilson's on the square...young guy, nice kid.

He was homecoming king that year... he also happened to be black and gay. Amazing how that didn't seem to bother anyone in Oxford when he was voted homecoming king. Kiffin is a good coach (I'll give him that), but he is also good at getting diarrhea of the mouth.

Thanks, Matt! Black AND gay. Talk about a one-two punch. Can't believe Oxford survived that one. I guess Lane's recruits missed him during their visit. Oh well. Hopefully they all feel safer in Baton Rouge!

OK, let's stick with college football and rapid-fire this Hump Day into a Hump Night. How do we feel about the first two (three) College GameDay visits of the new season?

How many times are we going to try to stuff Clemson into a marquee Week 1 game? I feel like we do this every year! They'll be ranked 23rd just so ESPN can market this as a top-25 game. I've seen this movie before.

Don't get me wrong, I'm rooting for Dabo. I'm very much out on Lane Kiffin at this point, if you couldn't tell.

But going to Death Valley ... at night ... in Week 1 of the Lane Kiffin era? Yikes.

Ohio State-Texas in Week 2 is a no-brainer, although I'm sure Big Noon would've liked that game. They haven't announced Week 3 yet, but we can assume Herbie's dog will get a police escort into Oxford that weekend.

I know it's a rival network and rival show but goodness ... I miss football. Three more months. Hold on tight, folks. We're almost back.

Next? Let's end the day on the diamond ... with a legend!

Reggie! NOOOOO! Reggie Jackson got duped by maybe the most clearly AI video I have ever seen in my life. Poor Reggie. We've all been there before. Mr. October, by the way, turns 80 next week. 80! What a player.

PS: "The Bronx is Burning" is one of the most underrated miniseries of all time. Just an absolute banger back in the mid-2000s. If you're a baseball fan and haven't seen it, go track it down at your local Blockbuster before the weekend!

OK, that's it for today. Good Hump Day. Let's stay on the diamond and with the Yankees theme, and end the day with Rockies in-game host (and Joe's niece) Gianna Girardi!

See you tomorrow.

OUTKICK IS NOW ON THE FOX APP: CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD

OutKick Nightcaps is a daily column set to run Monday through Friday at 4 p.m. (roughly, we’re not robots).

Is Oxford in for a rough night this September?
Katherine Legge aims to become first woman to complete the most daunting task in motorsports

The 45-year-old will race in both the Indy 500 and Coca-Cola 600 on the same day

Katherine Legge will attempt to race her way into the history books later this month by becoming the first woman to complete the infamous NASCAR-IndyCar "Double."

For those who don't know, that's when a driver competes in both the Indy 500 and Coca-Cola 600 on the same day. Both events are held on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.

Only five drivers have attempted "The Double," which includes running 1,100 miles in one day. Tony Stewart is the only one to complete all 1,100 miles, finishing sixth at Indy in 2001, and third at Charlotte.

John Andretti, Robbie Gordon, Kurt Busch and, most recently, Kyle Larson are the other four drivers to attempt it. Larson missed the start of the Coca-Cola 600 in 2024 because the Indy 500 was delayed due to rain. He crashed out of both events last season.

NASCAR STAR RYAN BLANEY TALKS INTEREST IN COMPLETING ONE OF TOUGHEST CHALLENGES IN RACING

Katherine Legge made her NASCAR debut last season

Legge, 45, is no stranger to either series. She made her NASCAR Cup Series debut last season, with a season-best finish of 17th at the Brickyard 400. Legge made her eighth career Cup start last weekend at Watkins Glen, finishing 35th. She's finished 30th or worse in six of her eight races.

This will be her fifth Indy 500, with a career-best finish of 22nd in the 2012 race.

"It’s meticulously organized down to the minute," Legge told USA Today. "I just have to turn left a bunch of times that day. Hopefully there's no weather issues. We'll be all over the place."

DANICA PATRICK REVEALS DRIVERS SHE'D WANT TO RACE AGAINST IN DREAM SCENARIO

Legge's attempt at "The Double" comes 50 years after Janet Guthrie became the first woman to run practice laps at Indy. She failed to qualify for that year's event, but quickly turned her attention to the World 600, traveling to Charlotte and finishing 15th in the race.

The following year, she became the first woman to race in both the Daytona 500 and Indy 500.

Danica Patrick, of course, is the most recent — and most successful — woman to compete in both forms of racing. Patrick famously finished third in the 2009 Indy 500, and also started on the pole for the 2013 Daytona 500.

Patrick retired after the 2018 Daytona 500 and was the last woman to compete in the Cup Series until Legge made her debut last season. She never attempted "The Double."

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

"It seems like there's nobody waiting in the wings ready to take on that mantra," Legge continued. "How many years out are we from having the next me? There's a couple of girls in the Truck Series that I don't think have what it takes to get there. We need to develop the next generation so that I can hand over the baton, so to say.

"But unfortunately, there seems to be this big gap these days. And it's on the IndyCar side, the open-wheel side and on the NASCAR side."

Former Texas A&M star running back abruptly retires after one weekend of NFL rookie minicamp

Le'Veon Moss signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent last week but was placed on the reserve/retired list Tuesday.

Former Texas A&M running back Le'Veon Moss took one look at the rebuilding Miami Dolphins and decided the NFL wasn't for him.

OK. That's probably not how it happened. But, as a Dolphins fan, I'd get it. Lord knows I'd do the same thing.

Moss, 23, abruptly retired Tuesday, just four days after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent. The former Aggies player signed last week ahead of Miami's rookie minicamp, and was placed on the reserve/retired list Tuesday afternoon.

The All-SEC running back played in 32 career games for A&M, finishing with 1,767 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns.

His College Station career was cut short due to a pair of nasty injuries, including a torn ACL and MCL in 2024, and an ankle injury last season against Florida.

Le'Veon Moss dealt with injuries, but the NIL could've played a role

Obviously, the injuries will be blamed for Moss quitting after just four days in the league. That's fair, and probably true. Those are tough injuries to come back from as a running back.

CHIEFS EXEC ON HOW NIL DEALS ARE SHRINKING NFL DRAFT TALENT POOL, KEEPING COLLEGE PLAYERS IN SCHOOL LONGER

But, folks will rightfully point to the NIL as a reason, too. In the pre-NIL days, college players needed the NFL to survive. This was all they had. This was their job.

Not anymore.

I don't know what Le'Veon Moss made at Texas A&M, but I'm quite sure it was more than he would've made a few years ago. Maybe he built a nest egg for himself and his family, and decided he didn't need the NFL? It's plausible.

49ERS VOID GUARANTEED MONEY IN BRANDON AIYUK'S CONTRACT FOR 2026 SEASON AFTER BIZARRE SITUATION: REPORTS

The Miami Herald's Barry Jackson also reported that Moss will have to return "most or all" of the $258,000 guaranteed in his contract.

Don't know what "most" means, but I'd love to hear that conversation.

Anyway, it's a shame. Moss was a good player, and, frankly, landed in the perfect spot. The Dolphins are in full rebuild mode for 2026, which means if you're on the team, you have a shot at making the team. He was expected to compete for the No. 2 spot behind De'Vone Achane, another Texas A&M star.

Unfortunately, life had other plans.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

Or, you know, he spent a few days in an NFL practice and decided it wasn't for him.

Either-or.

Paige Spiranac and her mom stun the internet, Lane Kiffin's incredible shot at Ole Miss & the NFL did it again

Paige Spiranac and her mother set the internet ablaze ahead of the PGA Championship at Aronimink

Happy NFL schedule release week to all who celebrate! What? You're not fired up for it? Come on! One of the best weeks of the year. Get your heads right!

Fine. It's not that great, but it's something. It ain't exactly a busy time of year on the sports calendar. Yes, I know the NBA playoffs are going on. Again, it ain't a busy time of year.

And while I do love the NHL playoffs, the Panthers aren't in it this season, so my admittedly pink-hat fandom is taking this year off. At least I'm honest.

So, I instead choose to latch onto the NFL schedule release later this week. Frankly, I'm just trying to bridge the gap to my vacation later this month. Sure, it's a "vacation" with four other families and a dozen kids all under one roof for a week, but a "vacation" nonetheless.

Let's start bridging the gap, and get this week going.

Welcome to a Monday Nightcaps — the one where Paige Spiranac gears up for the PGA Championship with her mom and rattles America's cage.

What else? I've got the best of the rest from a big weekend of #content, you will NEVER guess who gets the first Sunday Night Football game of the season, and how do we feel about Caitlin Clark walking out with Morgan Wallen Saturday night after a Fever loss? Seemed ... odd ... to me.

To give equal time, per the FCC's law, we will also check in with Angel Reese! It's only fair.

OK, grab you whatever you'd like for National Eat What You Want Day, and settle in for a Monday 'Cap!

Paige Spiranac is ready for a big week of PGA Championship golf

Hope everyone had a big Mother's Day Sunday. We smoked a pork butt down here, which, to be fair, was a lot more enjoyable in Florida back in March when it was 65 degrees outside. I got in the car Saturday afternoon and the dial said 104. I ain't kidding.

MADISON BEER PUT JUSTIN HERBERT IN NEW STEAMY MUSIC VIDEO, XANDRA POHL THREW OUT FIRST PITCH & GRILLING SEASON

Seems to me that summer is here just a bit earlier this year down here, which I'm sure Al Gore is thrilled about. It's only fair, right? We had an abnormally cold winter — "winter" — so it's now time to pay the piper. The flies are out in full force, the breeze is suddenly gone, and I'm back to going through three shirts a day.

I've lived here my whole life. May 11 is a tad early for this, but it is what it is. Patriots adapt and adjust. Welcome back, summer.

OK, let's go ahead and kick off the week with Paige Spiranac and her mother lighting the internet on fire ahead of the PGA Championship:

What a weekend of #content!

Not AI, folks. That's the real deal. What a missile from the Spiranacs on Mother's Day! I think we're in for a big week of major championship golf.

For those wondering, Scottie Scheffler opens as the favorite at Aronimink, followed by Rory, Cam Young and Jon Rahm. I still feel like we're getting close to another Brooks Koepka major victory. I don't know why, but I can feel it in my plums.

You can grab him at 4500 right now. Seems like a decent little sprinkle given the Strait of Hormuz still ain't playing ball with us.

In fact, let's check in with Brooks as we dive into the best #content from the second weekend of May!

Lane, Cowboys & the WNBA girls are BACK!

Another strong weekend. There wasn't a ton going on, but you all made it work. Well done.

Couple thoughts ...

The last one is a humdinger. I can't believe it's real. But ... it's real. What a family. What a name(s).

"Dumbocrats" isn't Trump's best work, but it still plays. Sometimes the simpler, the better.

I'm just about over the Vrabel stuff. At this point, wake me up when the sex tape drops. Anything else is just noise.

God, I miss John Clayton. Remember the old Clayton vs. Sean Salisbury bits on ESPN? We had it so good back then.

Where do we stand on Caitlin Clark walking out with Morgan Wallen after an opening day loss? Not the best look. I assume it was pre-planned, but still ...

Good to have Angel Reese back! To be fair, she did have the game-sealing block down the stretch and a double-double (with plenty of mebounds!).

The NFL should 100% start interviewing refs during commercial breaks. Lord knows it's better than anything we get from the ref in the TV booth.

"Gene, what do you see?"

"I agree, Jim, back to you."

OK, let's rapid-fire this Monday class into a big Monday night. First up? Speaking of the NFL ... guess who gets the Week 1 SNF game this season?!

Cowboys-Giants! Unreal. The most predictable game every single year. If the Giants are even moderately interesting, you can almost guarantee that Week 1 is gonna be Cowboys-Giants on SNF. I think it's the NFL rule book at this point.

And for those who think I'm making it up ... these two have now opened the season against each other eight times in the last 15 years. Eight! The last time was 2023, when Dallas won 40-0 on ... Sunday Night Football.

Cha-ching!

FOX NEWS SPORTS HUDDLE NEWSLETTER: INSIDE LANE KIFFIN’S OLE MISS BREAKUP AS FANS UNLEASH FURY OVER MOVE TO LSU

Next? Let's check in with Lane Kiffin, who for some reason sat down with Vanity Fair recently and pumped out this totally legit piece of information:

When he was coaching there, Kiffin says, top recruits would tell him, "‘Hey, coach, we really like you. But my grandparents aren’t letting me move to Oxford, Mississippi.’ That doesn’t come up when you say Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Parents were sitting here this weekend saying the campus’s diversity feels so great: ‘It feels like there’s no segregation’"

Yeah, no. Just ... no. NO chance that ever happened. Do you really believe that five-star recruits were telling Lane Kiffin they wouldn't play for him because of ... segregation? Come on. What a ridiculous quote. What world am I living in here?

This, by the way, was Lane Kiffin less than ONE YEAR AGO:

Amazing. They're all so full of crap.

OK, that's it for today. Good start to the week. I'll go ahead and leave everyone with Tiger vs. Bob May in 2000 to kick off PGA Championship week.

It's the right thing to do.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

OutKick Nightcaps is a daily column set to run Monday through Friday at 4 p.m. (roughly, we’re not robots).

Did 17-year-olds actually tell Lane they weren't committing due to racism? Email me at Zach.Dean@OutKick.com.

Bubba Wallace has tense pit road confrontation, NASCAR fans rip female driver & Sam Busch goes cowgirl!

Wallace finished 29th after being wrecked by John Hunter Nemechek later in the Watkins Glen road race

Another wasted road race for the NASCAR Cup Series. Just a giant waste of time and breath. You finally have a little momentum during a season that's been, frankly, boring, and you just piss it all away by going to a road course.

Nothing against road courses, of course. They're fine. They used to be fun. Now, they're the ultimate snoozer.

Shane Van Gisbergen won, again, Sunday at Watkins Glen. Let me rephrase that ... SVG was 29 seconds back after a late pit stop, and still won the race ... by seven seconds. That's how dominant he was.

Nobody else stood a chance. SVG's the purest road racer the Cup Series has ever seen. There, I said it. It's him, and THEN Boris Said.

But now, SVG will go back to the middle of the pack until late June when the fellas head to San Diego and then Sonoma. Good seeing you, SVG! Have a nice vacation.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE OUTKICK SPORTS COVERAGE

What else do y'all wanna hit on today? Again, it wasn't the most exciting automobile race ever, but we'll cobble something together.

I've got Bubba Wallace and Christopher Bell exchanging pleasantries after the race. How does that sound? I've also got Cody Ware in an insane crash, Amazon Prime is on deck, and Natalie Decker had a GREAT run down in the Truck series over the weekend.

And by that, I mean she was so horrifically slow, she was basically ejected from the race 20 laps in. Amazing. Impressive, really.

Four tires, just a splash of fuel because I need to be able to afford dinner later, and maybe a towel for the rest of the field after SVG wiped the floor with them all day ... Monday Morning Pit-Stop — the "SVG dominated another road course, so we're going to have to dig deep for content today" edition — is LIVE!

Is SVG good or bad for NASCAR?

Look, it's impressive. I'm not going to sit here and dump on SVG because he's that much better than everyone else on a road course. Look at that drive through the field. Yes, he was on fresher tires, but still ... I don't think anyone else could do it. They certainly couldn't do it that quickly.

But is it good for NASCAR? Is Shane Van Gisbergen dominating every single road course good for a sport that A) has a lot of road races on the schedule, and B) is struggling with Mr. Nielsen this season?

If this was Jeff Gordon — and by the way, it was for a period in the '90s — it would be fine, right? If this were an Earnhardt or a Gordon or an Elliott, it would all be ham and eggs, I assume.

But, it's not. It's a relatively new and unknown driver to the series who comes from a very different racing background and a much different part of the world, and he's now torching the rest of the field a few times a year while struggling on the ovals and speedways.

He provides some incredible moments on road race weeks, and then sort of goes invisible for the next handful of months until the next road course.

I personally don't think it's good for NASCAR, at all. I don't want to take anything away from SVG (which is what folks say when they want to take something away), but I'm firmly in that camp. It makes the races boring. I have a feeling Sunday's race at Watkins Glen is going to do abysmal numbers. Maybe I'll be wrong. I doubt it, though.

ZERO BS. JUST DAKICH. TAKE THE DON’T @ ME PODCAST ON THE ROAD. DOWNLOAD NOW!

I'd also venture to say that I'm in the majority on this one, which isn't usually the case with my NASCAR opinions. I just don't think folks love SVG boat-racing the rest of the field.

Bubba and Christopher have a chat

I could go on and on. Trust me. And yes, there are plenty of folks with the obligatory, "You have to appreciate greatness!" line. I get that, too.

But come on. Until SVG wins a race outside a road course, I don't think he's going to resonate with anyone. Hell, he doesn't even have to win one. Just sniff a win on a regular track. Just "be there at the end," as DW used to say. And then, we'll talk.

Until then? Eh. I don't think he's moving the needle for the casual fan, no matter how impressive the drive is.

OK, let's move on ... to someone who DOES move the needle for the NASCAR folks: Bubba Wallace!

OutKick and Fox News fan-favorite, Bubba Wallace!

Ware's wreck, Natalie's short day & Sam Busch goes country

So, Bubba's spotter says he wasn't mad, but nobody knows anything beyond that? Seems odd to me. Bubba, by the way, was actually wrecked later in the race by John Hunter Nemechek.

Perhaps he got JHN and Christopher Bell mixed up? Lord knows I have before:

I'm kidding. Relax. Nobody ever confuses two white NASCAR drivers!

In any event, Bubba finished 29th at Watkins Glen, which I'm sure most of you are just distraught over. Chin up! Bubba will be back up front in no time!

OK, let's put the pedal to the floor and shift this second-Monday-of-May into high gear. First up? For some reason, NASCAR didn't throw a late caution for this Cody Ware wreck.

I know Cody wrecks A LOT, but ... this one seemed worthy of a yellow:

NASCAR either A) missed it, or B) saw it was Cody Ware and refused to stop another race for Cody Ware. I'm going to assume it's the second one, because that's more fun.

And yes, I know, Fox didn't show the wreck. Spare me the emails. I ain't bringing it up, for obvious reasons. For those who truly hate the production, Sunday's All-Star race at Dover will be the final Fox broadcast of the year.

We move to Amazon Prime for the next five races before TNT and USA Network take over for all July and August. It'll be nice to hear Dale Jr. again. Sad to lose Mike Joy.

Next? Let's give the minor league series' some love on the way out! Natalie Decker had a great day at Watkins Glen!

Amazing. Coming in last and having a "too slow" next to your name on the official stat sheet has to be just humiliating. Natalie, to be fair, blamed the lack of speed on an electrical issue in both practice, qualifying and the race.

Seems like something you'd think they'd get figured out before the green flag drops, but whatever. Nothing a little nicotine lipper won't fix:

Incredible. Where do we stand on women who pack nicotine pouches? Do we think Natalie actually does this? Lord knows I use them a dozen times a day, but I also assume I'm more of the target audience.

Anyway, that's our big question of the week. Where do we stand on women who dip? It's a weird question, admittedly, but I'm also having to dig deep because SVG is still lapping the field this morning. It ain't easy.

OUTKICK IS NOW ON THE FOX APP: CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD

OK, let's go ahead and head off into the middle-week-of-May with Sam Busch channeling her inner Ella Langley for reasons unknown.

See you at Dover!

Fans blast Milwaukee Brewers for bizarre Wall of Honor induction of CC Sabathia: 'Embarrassing'

Social media erupted after the ceremony honoring a pitcher who made 17 starts and left for New York the next season

Before we start, let me say this: I love CC Sabathia. As a Red Sox fan, I still have nightmares from his time with the Yankees. He was, at times, the most dominant pitcher of that era. Just a force on the mound, and an absolute bulldog in terms of innings.

Sabathia was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame last year, and rightfully so. He was a no-brainer.

With all that being said … the Milwaukee Brewers’ induction of Sabathia into their Wall of Honor on Friday was met with some … confusion.

For those who don't follow everything Brewers baseball, Sabathia was put on the wall before Friday's game against the Yankees. He got a shiny new plaque and all. It was a cool moment.

ZERO BS. JUST DAKICH. TAKE THE DON'T @ ME PODCAST ON THE ROAD. DOWNLOAD NOW!

It was all well and good, except for one thing: CC Sabathia played in Milwaukee for half a season in 2008. He made 17 starts. His one playoff start wasn't great.

Yes, he was incredible during the regular season stretch. Frankly, it was one of the best stretches of pitching I've ever seen at the major league level.

But he made ... 17 starts. And he's now on the Wall of Honor? Odd. I thought it was odd. A quick check of social media showed I wasn't alone:

Where do we stand on this?

I could go on and on. It's a bloodbath over on Elon's social media app right now. Isn't it always?

Where do we stand on this? Again, I love CC. The guy was an elite pitcher for a long time back in the day. One could argue that his stretch in Milwaukee was one of the most memorable stretches in MLB history. Seriously, it was that dominant.

YANKEES' CARLOS RODON'S BEARD DRAWS MIXED REVIEWS FROM FANS ON SOCIAL MEDIA AFTER FACIAL HAIR POLICY CHANGE

LOOK at these numbers: 11-2, 1.62 ERA, seven complete games (!!!) and three shutouts.

Again, you just don't see numbers like that anymore. He was the last of a dying breed. Just an animal on the mound.

Perhaps that's enough to get you on the Brewers' Wall of Honor? I don't know. The obvious elephant in the room is the fact that he only played for the team for three months. He made 17 starts, lost a postseason game, and he was off to New York the following season.

Does that really warrant a plaque and a place on the wall? I don't know. Kyle Schwarber's run with the Red Sox in 2021 for half a season was pretty good. He hit one of the most electric home runs in recent postseason memory in Game 3 of the ALCS against Houston.

Should he be in the Red Sox hypothetical Wall of Honor? There are dozens of examples of rental players doing incredible things for their temporary teams after the trade deadline.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

Did any of them put up the numbers CC Sabathia did in Milwaukee? Probably not.

Does that justify the induction? That's up for debate.

Tyreek Hill's court battle with OnlyFans model who accused him of breaking her leg ends with shocking twist

The 250-pound OnlyFans model accused the NFL receiver of shoving her during backyard football drills in June 2023

Well, that was quick.

Tyreek Hill's court battle with a 250-pound OnlyFans model who accused the 5-10 NFL receiver of breaking her leg and then giving her a piggyback ride to the bedroom ended in abrupt fashion Friday, with Hill reportedly leaving the courtroom saying, "I'm going to Disney World."

Whew. I can promise you, you're not finding a better paragraph on the internet today. Maybe not ever. This is why the NFL offseason is the best reality show on TV.

For those who missed it, Hill and model Sophie Hall found themselves in civil court this week after Hall claimed Hill shoved her during a backyard football lesson because he felt humiliated. The incident took place in June 2023, and Hall alleged that it forced her to undergo reconstructive surgery and required weekly physical therapy.

TYREEK HILL ACCUSED BY 250-POUND ONLYFANS MODEL OF BREAKING HER LEG, THEN GIVING HER A PIGGYBACK RIDE TO SEX

Hill said she instead tripped over a dog, which caused the fracture. Regardless, Hall then claimed that Hill gave her a piggyback to the bedroom to have sex.

Again, the NFL's offseason is undefeated.

Anyway, according to NBC6, the case was abruptly settled Friday when Hall agreed to dismiss her assault and battery claims and Hill agreed to settle her negligence claim.

AMAZON PRIME FACES BACKLASH AFTER ILL-TIMED REPORT ON TYREEK HILL ALLEGATIONS DURING BILLS-DOLPHINS GAME

That's when Hill exited the courtroom and announced his intention to head to Orlando for some R&R at Disney.

Tyreek Hill settles with OnlyFans model

Just the perfect end to the perfect story. And by "perfect," I mean predictable. Just when you thought a civil suit involving backyard offensive line drills with an OnlyFans model couldn't get any better, Tyreek Hill drops the hammer and ends the whole thing by saying, "I'm going to Disney World."

EXTENT OF TYREEK HILL'S GRUESOME INJURY REVEALED, INCLUDING TORN KNEE LIGAMENTS: REPORTS

In a way, I'm bummed this court battle lasted just one day. I wanted to see what sort of legs this story really had, but Hill had other ideas. Probably smart on his part. The 32-year-old is a free agent after the Dolphins cut him in March, and is currently rehabbing from a season-ending knee injury last year.

The jury, picked Wednesday, was shown photos of Hall's X-rays during opening statements. Hall claims Hill had her come over to his house and do offensive line drills with him (as one does), and then instructed her to rush him. She pushed him backwards, and Hill then became "enraged."

In a 2024 deposition, Hall said Hill then gave her a piggyback ride into the bedroom for a day of sex after the incident. The towering OnlyFans star also said she stayed with Hill for several more days, and in another deposition downplayed the severity of what happened.

TYREEK HILL'S WIFE CLAIMS DOLPHINS STAR TOOK THEIR DAUGHTER WITHOUT CONSENT, EMERGENCY COURT FILING SAYS

"I wanted comfort, I felt very vulnerable in that moment. I was injured," Hall explained about sleeping in Hill’s bed.

Hill also allegedly sent Hall Instagram messages in May 2023, saying, among other things, that he's "been known to be a good stepdad."

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

Again, I feel like we got shortchanged with this story, but whatever. It's all settled now, and we're off to bigger and better things.

Tyreek, meanwhile, is off to Disney.

Fernando Tatis Jr. ripped for embarrassing fielding blunder that led to "little league grand slam"

The Padres star hasn't hit a home run since the World Baseball Classic in March, and his latest fielding play has fans fuming

It's been a rough start to the year for San Diego Padres star, Fernando Tatis Jr. He's hitting a measly .248, and, somehow, STILL doesn't have a home run this season.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE OUTKICK SPORTS COVERAGE

Frankly, I didn't think it was possible for a player like Fernando Tatis to go this long without hitting a ball into the bleachers, but I was wrong. His last dinger came in the World Baseball Classic ... in MARCH. Wild.

But, we're not here to discuss Tatis' struggles at the dish. Unfortunately for the three-time All-Star, we're here to take a look at his effort in the field ...

... which also hasn't been great.

Take a look!

Not the best look for Fernando Tatis here

Whooooooooooooof. Just a brutal look here for Tatis. I haven't seen that play in a long, long time. But, we've all seen it before, right?

THIS YEAR'S AMERICAN LEAGUE MIGHT BE THE WORST IN MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL HISTORY

Anyone here who played Little League certainly grew up with that exact same play. It was a staple of my childhood. There is no such thing as an innocent ground ball in Little League baseball. It doesn't exist. The second a ball is hit, you hold your breath. There is no telling what's gonna happen, or where the play is gonna go.

I saw it all in my 20 years playing baseball. Well, I'd like to think I did. I'm sure I didn't, but I did see a bunch. Some good. Most of it? Bad.

Inside-the-park home runs on balls that never left the infield? Yep. Fights? You betcha. Mercy rules? I was on the receiving end of almost all of them.

One time, I played on a team so bad that we made four errors on one play. Do you know how hard that is to do? We did it ... with ease.

Anyway, back to Tatis. Again, it's just been a brutal year for the 27-year-old. No homers. Hitting in the lower .200s. I'm pretty sure I have a better OPS than him at the moment. It's just been bad.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

And, of course, the fans are fed up.

Yikes:

Dale Earnhardt Jr. buries mouthy NASCAR fan who attempted to insult his intelligence

The debate centered on whether Carson Hocevar could unseat Chase Elliott with YouTuber Cleetus McFarland's backing.

Dale Earnhardt Jr., NASCAR's most popular driver 15 years in a row from 2003-17, knows a thing or two about how to win the award.

That's usually how it works when ... you win something 15 (!!!) years in a row. If I did something 15 times in a row, I would assume I'd be pretty darn good at it by the fourth or fifth year. At least by the tenth. Lord knows I'd be unstoppable come Year 15.

Anyway, Junior retired after the 2017 Cup season, officially handing the reins over to Chase Elliott, who has won the award every year for the past decade. He's pretty good, too, but not quite up to Junior's level ... yet.

As for Dale, he's now a car owner, and, more importantly, an Internet security guard when it comes to all things NASCAR.

He's not afraid to get down in the trenches when someone gets a little sassy, and that's exactly what happened this week when one fan got a little mouthy about this year's race for most popular driver.

NASCAR DRIVERS RICKY STENHOUSE JR, CARSON HOCEVAR GET INTO ALTERCATION AFTER MEXICO CITY RACE

The discussion centered around Carson Hocevar — who recently won his first career Cup race at Talladega — and whether he could realistically unseat Elliott if he had the backing of YouTuber-turned-ARCA-star, Cleetus McFarland.

Take a look:

NASCAR's most popular driver is pretty locked in on two families

Dale: "Cleatus would have to campaign on social daily to make it competitive."

Internet troll: "You don’t know that. You’re just dismissing him and it’s clear the disrespect you have based on the way you spelled Cleetus wrong on purpose. I’ll reiterate that u don’t know bc the numbers ain’t released publicly."

Dale: "I won it 15 times and have a pretty solid understanding of how it works."

Game, set, match. Forget the checkered ... wave the white flag! It's over. Another win for an Earnhardt, this time in 2026.

BUBBA WALLACE TRIGGERS ONE OF THE BIGGEST WRECKS IN NASCAR HISTORY, 'DEGA LAP DANCES & COWBOY PILLOW GIRLS!

Again, Dale Jr. won the award 15 times. In fact, the history of NASCAR's most popular driver is actually quite insane. Since the 1980s, it's been dominated by either an Earnhardt or an Elliott. That's pretty much it.

Bill Elliott won the award a record 16 times (84-88, 91-2000, 2002). Dale Earnhardt won it in 2001, the same year he tragically died in the Daytona 500. Elliott won it once more the following year, and then Earnhardt Jr. locked it down for the next 15 seasons.

DALE EARNHARDT JR THREATENS TO LEAVE NASCAR OVER DISGUSTING ELECTRIC CAR RUMOR

So, yes — Dale Jr. knows a thing or two about how to win. No, he probably didn't have to do much campaigning on social media, as he suggests, back in the day. Partly because social media didn't really exist when he drove, and partly because he's Dale Earnhardt Jr. and he was always going to win the award as long as he drove.

BUT, he's now a car owner. He's been in the sport for a decade post-retirement, and knows how it works. In fact, a JR Motorsports driver has won the award every year since 2012 down in the Xfinity Series.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

So, yes, Dale knows how to win this award. If he says Carson Hocevar needs to campaign daily for the next seven months to win it, I'd listen. Or don't.

Personally, I don't think another driver wins until Chase Elliott retires, anyway.

Mallory Edens sizzles on the beach while ex Aaron Rodgers eyes a return, X-Files' hantavirus warning & aliens!

Edens recently turned 30 while Rodgers, who will be 43 later this year, reportedly considers returning to Pittsburgh

Happy Friday — and Happy Alien Files Release Day to all who celebrate! We made it. We're done with another week, and now we're barreling towards the second full weekend of May.

Where should we start? Aliens? The rat virus? Are we still in a war with Iran? I have no clue. I assume so. A LOT of action right now in the US of A. You can call us a lot of things, but boring ain't one of 'em! You always have to be on your toes in this country, especially during this age.

But, that's why this class exists. It's why we win (alleged) awards. We keep up with the news, so you don't have to.

Let's roll.

DAN GAINOR: THE 7 CRAZIEST STORIES OF 2025. YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT MADE THIS LIST

Welcome to a Friday Nightcaps — the one where Milwaukee Bucks Heiress Mallory Edens hits the beach while ex-boyfriend Aaron Rodgers mulls another season in Pittsburgh. Are the two related? Nope. But, here we are.

What else? I've got the best of the rest from a loaded week of #content, Tyreek Hill is having a typical NFL offseason, and Jenn Sterger celebrated May the Fourth as Princess Leia. Lord knows it's better than going as that lunatic Mark Hamill.

OK, grab you a coconut creme pie for National Coconut Creme Pie Day and settle in for a Friday 'Cap!

Mallory Edens celebrates another trip around the sun

For those Nightcaps veterans, you know where this is going. We do it every year. Frankly, we do it multiple times a year.

For those new to class, here's the correct Mount Rushmore of Pies to celebrate this great day:

Key Lime (only from Publix)

Coconut Crème (only Marie Callender's)

Apple (this switches between pecan and apple depending on the time of year)

Chicken!

Yep. Chicken pot pie always makes the list, no matter the time of year. Nothing hits better than a hot chicken pot pie on May 8th in Florida. Especially today, when it's supposed to reach 92. The best!

I will say, coconut creme pie is super underrated in the world of pies. It deserves far more respect than it gets. Not here, though. We respect the veterans in this class.

CBS REPORTER JENNY DELL ESCAPES TO THE BEACH, SHILO SANDERS IS HUNGRY & NICK SABAN IS SCRAMBLING OFF THE TEE

OK, let's get it going. It's a Friday and I feel like cutting out early in case the aliens get pissed off enough that they decide to invade later on.

Bucks Heiress Mallory Edens turned 30 recently, and we somehow missed it. Today, we make amends.

Happy 30th, Mallory!

What a week of #content!

Been a while since we checked in with Mallory. Good to see she's doing well! I know she and Aaron Rodgers split up years ago, but man, what a great time that was.

Now, Aaron is married to some girl who we STILL somehow haven't identified and is apparently considering returning to the Steelers this season. How long is this dude gonna play? I realize the QB situation in Pittsburgh isn't great, but do Steelers fans still want Aaron Rodgers?

I would've bet big money that last year was his final season. Maybe it still will be? The guy changes his mind every other day. He'll be 43 later this year. Wild.

OK, let's get to the best #content from a big week filled with aliens and rats!

Pandemics, aliens, Tyreek & the X-Files!

Another solid week. A weird one, admittedly, but a solid one. We have a lot of balls in the air right now, as I mentioned at the top. We're really living in a true "choose-your-own-adventure" game at the moment. What a time to be alive.

Couple thoughts ...

Good to have former FSU cowgirl/Jets reporter Jenn Sterger back in class to celebrate Star Wars Day. I wrote about deranged Mark Hamill this morning, for those who really get in the weeds.

I could (and have) watched that Bartolo Colon home run a billion times, and never get bored. It's my favorite MLB moment ... maybe ever?

Was I the only one a bit underwhelmed by the alien files this morning? I know it's only phase one, but still ... I've seen a thousand videos of the moving black and white dots in mid-air over my lifetime. That's nothing new or revelatory. Wake me up when you get one of these bad boys up close.

NICK BOSA'S MODEL GIRLFRIEND STARTS SUMMER IN A PINK BIKINI ON A TENNIS COURT, CRAZY MARK HAMILL & PLANDEMIC!

Speaking of ... let's go ahead and rapid-fire this Friday class into a big weekend. First up? Let's stick with aliens ... and the rat virus!

Whoaaaaaaaaaa Nellie! I'm not a conspiracy theorist, at all. My wife, on the other hand, often jokes about the birds in our yards being robots, and I'm never 100% sure she's joking.

But ... this isn't the best look for us. Surely this is just coincidence, right? Right?

... Right?!

I'm moving on, quickly ... to Tyreek Hill!

For those who missed it, Tyreek was in court this week to begin his battle against 6-1, 250-pound OnlyFans model, Sophie Hall.

Hall alleges that — and I hope you're sitting down for this — Hill invited her over a few summers ago to practice some football in the backyard. Seriously. He then had her do an offensive line drill, and she promptly knocked the 5-11 Hill to the ground. Hall then claims that Hill was so embarrassed by this, he fractured her leg.

Naturally, Hall claims, Hill then gave her a piggyback ride to the bedroom and they had a full night of sex. As one does, of course.

Hill claims Hall broke her leg because she tripped on a dog.

And there's your weekly NFL offseason update! Perfect. No notes. 10/10.

OK, that's it for today — and this week! Good work all around. Let's have a big weekend and keep the momentum rolling. We're two weeks away from Memorial Day. Keep fighting.

See you Monday.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

OutKick Nightcaps is a daily column set to run Monday through Friday at 4 p.m. (roughly, we’re not robots).

Were you let down by the alien report?
Disney's big mistake with "Star Wars" was turning Luke Skywalker into Mark Hamill: miserable, pathetic and sad

Hamill's disgusting post about Donald Trump is everything wrong with Disney's "Star Wars" sequels.

I've said it for years now, but it's worth repeating today: Luke Skywalker has become such a miserable, depressing loser.

Just an old, insufferable, pathetic, sad loser.

I can't believe Mark Hamill has made the world hate Luke Skywalker. That would have been nearly impossible 30 years ago. Or 20 years ago. Or, really, even 10 years ago.

But a lot has changed in a decade. Hamill, like most of Hollywood, suffers from Trump Derangement Syndrome. I believe he was first diagnosed back in 2016, and he's really starting to deteriorate now. You see it with old people, right? I'm seeing it happen right now with my grandma in the nursing home down the street.

Again, it's sad. It's brutal to watch. But, that's how these diseases work. They turn you into a completely different person. That's what we're seeing with Mark Hamill.

For those who missed it, Hamill posted a picture depicting President Trump in a casket to his Bluesky account earlier this week. Yes, I said Bluesky. I know, try to stop laughing. Mark swore off Elon's Twitter years ago after Trump won the election. True story.

MARK HAMILL SAYS HE'S 'REALLY ASHAMED' AMERICA ELECTED TRUMP TWICE

Anyway, Hamill faced such intense backlash for the photo that he predictably deleted it Thursday night, replacing it with some sort of BS apology that nobody believes nor really cares about. He tried to spin the photo, clearly depicting a dead Trump, as something else.

OK, Mark. Whatever you say, pal.

I don't care about that. Mark Hamill has been a lunatic for years now. When they show you their true colors, believe them. We all know he's obsessed with the president. That's not news.

But Hamill's disgusting post comes on the heels of a bad week for "Star Wars," and that's what I'd like to talk about here.

Disney's "Star Wars" started to go south pretty quickly

Earlier this week, Nielsen released Star Wars streaming data over the past year. It painted a really bad picture for Disney's controversial sequels.

And by "really bad," I mean not only are people not watching them ... people are ignoring them completely.

Not one of Disney's sequels to the Skywalker saga — "Force Awakens," "Last Jedi," or "Rise of Skywalker" — made the top 10 most streamed Star Wars films/shows last May the Fourth. Not one.

The list was mostly made up for the originals and the three prequels, with a couple Disney TV installments (Andor) mixed in.

I knew fans despised the newest trilogy ... I didn't realize they truly hated it to the point where they literally ignore it. I figured at least one would make the list, right?

Wrong. And it's so obvious why ...

Look at Mark Hamill. He is exactly what Star Wars has become under woke Disney's watch. An exhausting, preachy, frankly, boring and outdated version of his former self.

That's what Star Wars has devolved into, and that's who Mark Hamill has become.

The writing is lazy. The battles are boring. The plot makes no sense. Above all, it's become just unwatchable, insufferable and full of virtue-signaling. It's what all of Hollywood has become since Donald Trump first took office in 2016.

John Boyega, who played Finn — a Black stormtrooper — in the sequels, once complained that Disney mishandled the introduction of a Black character. Seriously. He was upset that his Black character wasn't more central in the final two movies.

'STAR WARS' ACTOR TRASHES TRUMP IMMIGRATION POLICIES WHILE GUEST-HOSTING 'KIMMEL'

And you know what? He was right. Finn's arc was awful, and that goes back to how bad the writing was. But it had nothing to do with him being Black. He was a good character that was completely botched by Disney. I don't care if he was Black, White or purple — his character STUNK.

Boyega, of course, made it about race. Again, it was exhausting.

The demise of Star Wars and the demise of Luke Skywalker are the same

But that was the case with all of the sequels, except, of course, the first one. Disney admitted that one was more of an ode to the fans, with most of the main cast returning. Shockingly, it was the best of all three ... by a mile.

Hamill returned to reprise his role as Luke Skywalker in "Last Jedi," and that's when things really started to spiral. Luke, like Hamill in real life, had morphed into this unrecognizable loser. Just a pathetic, sad old man who hated the world and spent his days in solitude. It was embarrassing.

Luke's demise and Boyega's whining about the Black stormtrooper weren't the only reasons Disney's three movies failed.

There were also rumors of a gay love story between Finn and Poe.

The introduction of an Asian love interest for Finn in the second movie that literally made no sense. And I mean NO sense.

And, of course, the re-introduction of the emperor in the final installment even though Darth Vader killed him decades prior.

Don't bother watching. He returned to the big screen hanging from some sort of clothes hanger in a cave. It was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen.

Next to Disney's portrayal of Luke, of course. That was their big mistake. I can get past the virtue-signaling and the bad writing and Carrie Fisher floating in space (seriously).

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

I cannot get past them making Luke Skywalker exactly like old, decrepit, pathetic Mark Hamill.

That's a step too far.

Tyreek Hill accused by 250-pound OnlyFans model of breaking her leg, then giving her a piggyback ride to sex

Sophie Hall, a 250-lb model, alleges Hill shoved her because he felt humiliated during a 2023 football lesson at his home.

Tyreek Hill is facing his toughest test yet — a 6-foot-1 OnlyFans model who claims he fractured her leg, and then gave her piggyback rides into the bedroom for an all-day sex romp.

Yeah, a lot to unpack there, I know. Let's dive in.

Hill, the star ex-Miami Dolphins receiver, sat in court Thursday as Sophie Hall, a 6-foot-1, 250-pound OnlyFans model, claimed he shoved her during a backyard football lesson because he felt humiliated. The incident took place in June 2023, and Hall alleges that it forced her to undergo reconstructive surgery and required weekly physical therapy.

Hall's lawyers said Thursday in a Broward courtroom that the case "is about an aggressive act," according to Local10.

DOLPHINS' TYREEK HILL FACES DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ACCUSATIONS FROM ESTRANGED WIFE, LAWYERS FIRE BACK AT CLAIMS

"What happened was Sophie Hall, this woman, moved him back," Hall's attorney, Jonathan Gdanski, said. "They giggled, they laughed. Before anything else, at the force that Sophie felt from Tyreek coming at her, she is in excruciating pain."

Tyreek Hill vs. Sophie Hall is an all-time matchup

Goodness gracious. Do we see now why the Miami Dolphins cut ties with Tyreek Hill? No, it wasn't just because of this. It was because of all of it. All the baggage that comes with Hill. The marina incident. The multiple incidents with his now-estranged wife. The infamous police incident before the season-opener in 2024. The quitting on his team in the final game of that season. All of it.

The Dolphins saw it for four years, and that, along with an untenable contract and a bad knee of his own, is the reason Hill is currently a free agent.

Hill, of course, has his own version of what happened on that summer day. His attorney claims Hall broke her leg on her own after tripping on her dog.

"As he goes around, she steps on the dog and goes down on her knee," defense attorney Rob Horwitz said in opening statements, according to the outlet.

The jury was shown photos of Hall's X-rays during opening statements. Hall claims Hill had her come over to his house and do offensive line drills with him (as one does), and then instructed her to rush him. She pushed him backwards, and Hill then became "enraged."

RANDY MOSS SAYS TYREEK HILL IS 'NOWHERE ALL-TIME' IN NFL WIDE RECEIVER RANKINGS DISCUSSION

In a 2024 deposition, Hall said Hill (5-foot-10) then gave her a piggyback ride into the bedroom for a day of sex after the incident. The towering OnlyFans star also said she stayed with Hill for several more days, and in another deposition downplayed the severity of what happened.

"I wanted comfort, I felt very vulnerable in that moment. I was injured," Hall explained about sleeping in Hill’s bed.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

Hill also allegedly sent Hall Instagram messages in May 2023, saying, among other things, that he's "been known to be a good step-dad."

What a court battle. Can't wait to see where this goes.

Nick Bosa's model girlfriend starts summer in a pink bikini on a tennis court, crazy Mark Hamill & plandemic!

49ers star DE Nick Bosa is rehabbing right now while his girlfriend hits the court in Miami.

Over the hump and safely onto the other side of our first full week of May. All eyes are now on the weekend — and, of course, on that cruise ship that's apparently carrying the Bubonic Plague.

Amazing. You click on ONE thing about it on Twitter, and all of a sudden, your entire timeline is just filled with a bunch of people who are suddenly epidemiologists. Feels good to be back in 2020! It's like I never left.

The good news? The WHO says not to worry, and if we've learned anything over the years, it's that the WHO can be trusted.

ZERO BS. JUST DAKICH. TAKE THE DON'T @ ME PODCAST ON THE ROAD. DOWNLOAD NOW!

They're all wasted!

Let's roll.

Welcome to a Thursday Nightcaps — the one where Nick Bosa's model girlfriend, Ella Ailiff, gets summer rolling by smoking tennis balls in a pink bikini. As one does, of course.

What else? I've got Ted Turner memories from his early days in Atlanta, a wild scene last night in St. Louis, and this Spencer Pratt out in California seems like a winner. I don't know him from Adam, but as someone who has lived in Free Florida for his whole life, I'd like to think I can spot talent when I see it.

This cat has it.

OK, grab you whatever you have handy today — dealer's choice! — and settle in for a Thursday 'Cap!

Which number pandemic is this for you?

Let's spin the wheel and start with the predictable freakout over this rat virus on the cruise ship. No, I ain't looking up the name. I don't much care. Not yet, at least. I choose to ignore it, because that's how I assume things just go away. It's how I live my life, really.

FIVE YEARS AFTER COVID LOCKDOWNS: THE 5 MOST BIZARRE ‘STOP-THE-SPREAD’ MOMENTS

All the hullabaloo did get me thinking about all the fearmongering I've been through over my 33 years on this planet. Obviously, COVID was the big one. Duh. But, folks forget that we've heard it all over the past three decades.

When I was a kid, it was the SARS outbreak. When I was a junior in high school, it was swine flu. Remember swine flu?! What a time to be alive. My then-girlfriend (now-wife) actually got swine flu, and then took the ACT and absolutely embarrassed me. I think she got a 34. I'm quite sure I didn't sniff the 30s.

Of course, there was the Ebola madness when I was in college, and then COVID. People forget about the Monkeypox hysteria after COVID in 2023. That was fun. We've also had a couple of flare-ups of the measles and bird flu.

What's that? Six? This will be my seventh! That's a lot of epidemic/pandemic/plandemic experience in just 30 years. I consider myself a seasoned vet. What about you? I'm sure we've got some real warriors in this class. Some pandemic lifers. Let's hear it!

OK, let's get class started with 49ers DE Nick Bosa's girlfriend, Ella Ailiff, hitting the tennis court to get her NFL WAG offseason started:

We have a lot of angry ‘Star Wars’ fans in class

Welcome to Florida, Ella! Not sure that outfit is setting you up for the best success on the court, but to each his own. Look good feel good, feel good play good. I get it.

HILARY DUFF'S LATEST INSTAGRAM CONTENT HAS SUBURBAN MILLENNIAL MOMS GASPING, A TENNIS MATCH TURNS NASTY & MEAT

PS: Tennis is still far superior to pickleball. I know we're in this pickleball craze right now, but tennis will come back around.

OK, let's keep the line moving. I've got an analytics meeting this afternoon, which should be a barrel of fun.

Yesterday, I asked everyone when "Star Wars" officially lost you as a fan. I wrote about it earlier this week, but wanted to get you input because I'm of the belief that we're the smartest class in America.

Shockingly, you guys did NOT hold back.

From Ryan N:

"The prequel trilogy I thoroughly enjoyed, and think phantom menace gets way too much hate because of jar jar, but the darth maul lightsaber duel at the end makes up for that, especially if you’re 9 watching it in theaters.

"But the original question, where did they lose me? It was when they killed off Han Solo so lamely in Force Awakens. But even then, the nostalgia was strong enough to get me to go pay money to see The Last Jedi (one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen, let alone just a bad Star Wars movie). I was completely done after Luke milked the sea dinosaur thing."

I agree with everything! This is why Ryan is a Nightcaps OG. "Phantom Menace" 100% gets way too much hate. The last 30 minutes of TPM are some of the best in the entire saga. There, I said it.

Last Jedi, meanwhile, lost me when they had Carrie Fisher floating in space. Goodness.

From Gene in the Rock:

"For me, 7-9 were the real clinkers. IMHO the series died in June of 2013 when Lucas stepped aside and Kathleen Kennedy took over at Lucasfilms. Everything since then has been s#it. Return of the Jedi was the peak."

No argument from me. Like TPM, the last 30-45 minutes of Return of the Jedi are elite.

... Unless you ask Rick N:

"Star Wars really lost me with Return of the Jedi. When I was young (they all came out in theaters before I was around to go see them, so tv/video tape were my in-roads), I loved all 3 movies, but once I hit around 20 or so, Return of the Jedi was just silly. Ewoks, the repeat of A New Hope's plot, the we're brother/sister, just not good stuff."

Ted's big idea, Cards fans to the rescue and this Spencer Pratt is going places

I can still remember the entire theater gasp when Darth Maul whipped out the double lightsaber. If I remember correctly, the trailers all kept that from us, so it was stunning. Not one single moment in Disney's awful sequels even comes close to those three minutes.

It could also be because, I don't know, they also involved a heavy dose of Mark Hamill, who has become just the most insufferable person on the planet?

Gee, can't imagine why fans were tired of Mark Hamill towards the end! He's so normal now!

OK, let's rapid-fire this long class into a big Thursday night. Strap in, we're going quick.

First up? We didn't get to Ted Turner's passing yesterday, but I did find this little nugget amazing:

This is the effect Ted Turner had on folks. People from both sides of the aisle spent yesterday remembering Turner. Some, for his efforts in the media world.

Could you imagine a team trying to pull off THAT promotion in today's world? Folks would faint.

Next? Let's head out to Busch Stadium and get a pulse check from the fans:

Lordy. What is it with MLB fans the last few years? We had the Pirates fan last year fall onto the actual field, and now this guy was one leg away from a potentially nasty situation. Good on the fans for stepping in, though.

Nowadays, they just whip out their phones, hit record, and let the chips fall where they may. Not here. Good work!

OK, that's it for today. A long class, but a solid one. We're almost to the end of the week, folks. Hang on a bit longer.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

And maybe take a look at this Spencer Pratt to kill some time. He's the first sane person out of California I've seen in a long, loooooooooong time.

OutKick Nightcaps is a daily column set to run Monday through Friday at 4 p.m. (roughly, we’re not robots).

How many p(l)andemics have you been through?
Harrowing video shows man trying to jump from Busch Stadium upper deck before fans intervene

Video from Wednesday night's game in St. Louis shows the man dangling off the ledge before being grabbed

An unidentified man at Wednesday's Brewers-Cardinals game in St. Louis was seconds away from jumping off the upper deck railing when a group of fans intervened at the last minute.

Sure, I could insert a joke here about the Cardinals actually being decent this year and there being no reason to jump, but I won't. That's not classy. I know how to read a room.

Anyway, video went viral Wednesday night of the man dangling off the ledge in what appeared to be the 200s section for reasons unknown. The clip, taken from a fan below, is only 20 seconds long, but it might be the most tense 20 seconds at Busch Stadium this season.

Fans start to notice what's happening about five seconds into it, and then another man comes up behind the fan, grabs him and tackles him into the seats.

BASEBALL FAN'S FALL 'ACCIDENTAL IN NATURE,' POLICE SAY, AS GRAPHIC VIDEO SHOWS INCIDENT

Take a look:

Why do fans keep trying this out?

Look, I have no idea what was going on here. None. I do know, however, that these stadium incidents are happening more often, for whatever reason.

Remember the Pirates fan last season who fell 20 feet onto the field at PNC Park? That story involved some alcohol as the fan was under 21, and another man was later charged with furnishing alcohol to a minor.

I have no idea if that's the case here. I have no idea if alcohol was even involved here. That's usually a safe bet at sporting events, but who knows?

Regardless, these incidents do seem to be happening more often, which is just wild. I've been to a billion sporting events in my life. Not once have I ever thought about jumping off the railing, or onto the field.

PIRATES FAN WHO FELL OVER 20 FEET ONTO PNC PARK FIELD TAKES GIANT STEP IN ROAD TO RECOVERY

It just seems like an insane choice to make. Again, I have no clue what's going through people's heads, so I'll reserve judgment.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

Good on the surrounding fans for stepping in. We can't leave them out. A lot of times, people are so quick to just whip their phones out, start recording and let the chips fall where they may. Not these folks.

They sprang into action and prevented what I assume would've been a really bad situation at the ballpark.

All in all, a wild day at the stadium. For those keeping track at home, the Cards lost, 6-2.

Ted Turner remembered fondly for hosting wet T-shirt college nights after Braves games, like a true hero

Turner once hosted wet T-shirt contests on college night at Atlanta Braves games and managed the team for one game in 1977.

CNN founder and media mogul Ted Turner died Wednesday at 87. Well, scratch that. Those two labels don't quite do him justice.

Let me try again: Ted Turner — the founder of CNN, a media mogul, a business tycoon, a world-renowned sailor, the creator of the superstation, the former owner of the Atlanta Braves, and a fierce supporter of wet T-shirt contests — died Wednesday at 87.

Whew. How is THAT for a list of accomplishments to take with you to the pearly gates? Did Ted leave it all out on the field, or what?

Yes, that last one is obviously why I'm here writing about Ted today. I know he was a pioneer in the TV industry. That's his lasting legacy. But folks forget he was once the owner of the Atlanta Braves (and Hawks), and, more importantly, he used to host "wet T-shirt contests" during college nights at Braves games.

That's right. We used to be a proper country. I say it all the time, but we really did used to have it all, and we just pissed it all away. I grew up in the 1990s when Ted's TBS "superstation" was all the rage, and I loved it to death. Some of the best days of my life.

But boy, do I wish I could go back to the 1970s and take in a Braves games and then a wet t-shirt contest. Wrong era!

Ted Turner also managed the Braves for one single day

It's not often that both Clay Travis and Darren Rovell post about the same thing, but here we are.

This is the effect Ted Turner had on folks. People from both sides of the aisle spent yesterday remembering Turner. Some, for his efforts in the media world.

BRAVES SIDELINE REPORTER'S EFFORT TO GET WOMAN'S PHONE NUMBER SPARKS CONTENTIOUS ONLINE DEBATE

Others, of course, for his efforts in bundling Braves games and college wet t-shirt contests. And what an unreal price, too! Fifty cents for general admission to the Braves take on the Cubbies, and then you get to take in a wet t-shirt contest AND a Miller beer party?

From thisgreatgame.com:

"A crowd of 11,451, assumedly mostly male, showed up to watch the rotten Braves (13-24) take on the Chicago Cubs. Or at least that’s what they told their wives and girlfriends. But rain threatened the whole thing; for two hours, everyone sat around—interesting enough, no one left—before the first pitch finally took place.

"Somewhere around the sixth inning, the Braves announced that registration for the contest was under away, to be done in full view of the fans so they can see the pretty girls sign up; it took a while for the first woman to rev up the courage and walk to the table, but once she did, 42 others followed."

This Ted Turner was a genius. A true genius. No wonder he was so beloved. All you get nowadays are stupid "Bring Your Dog to the Ballpark" promotions and "Star Wars Night."

In fact, just to show you how miserable this era is compared to the 70s, the Atlanta Hawks were forced to cancel their "Magic City" promotion earlier this year because the NBA found it to be inappropriate.

And we had Ted Turner hosting wet t-shirt contests on COLLEGE NIGHT after games in the 70s! Again, we had it all, and we just pissed it away.

Anyway, some of Ted's other feats include temporarily taking over the team for one game in 1977 after firing his manager during a 16-game losing stream (they lost), and later that year loading up the entire team in a yacht so they could watch him compete in the America's Cup trials in Rhode Island.

For me, I will always remember him for the TBS superstation. Again, that's my childhood. Turning on a Braves game every night at 7:05 was the best. This is back before streaming, so you didn't really have access to much. I lived in Florida, so it was either the Marlins or Braves.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

Unfortunately, the wet T-shirt contests did NOT make it to the 90s, which is shocking given ... they were the 90s.

Oh well. Maybe it'll come back one day soon. Although, I'm fairly certain the Braves don't even do the full tomahawk chop anymore because the libs got fake-made about it, so I wouldn't hold your breath.

RIP.

Cameron Brink explores the jungle in a bikini before WNBA tip, Italian PM posts some thirst & woke Star Wars!

The LA Sparks forward posed in a cheetah-print bikini in the jungle before making her comments on race and branding

Second Hump Day of May? Sure, why not?! We're rolling right now. The days are longer. The weather is heating up. Summer is knocking at the door.

You know what? Let's do a quick check of the calendar before we get this class going. We've got ...

20 days till Memorial Day.

59 days till July 4th.

77 days till NFL training camps open.

83 days till college football fall practices open.

115 days till Week 0.

126 days till the stupid Wednesday NFL opener in LIB Australia.

133 days till Labor Day.

Whew. I mean, who has it better than us today? Nobody. Not one single body. Let's roll.

Welcome to a Hump Day Nightcaps — the one where Cameron Brink plays in the jungle ahead of the WNBA regular season opener. As one does, of course.

What else? I've got Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni posting some (fake) thirst, the Red Sox and Tigers broadcasts viewed last night's near-brawl VERY differently, and how much would it take to get you to watch this Friday's "First Take" reunion with Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith?

I honestly don't know that I'd do it for $1,000. I'm not kidding.

MELISSA JOAN HART PULLS OUT PRINCESS LEIA THROWBACKS FOR STAR WARS DAY

OK, grab you a lightsaber and settle in for a quick Hump Day 'Cap!

What's your biggest gripe with Star Wars?

This is a few days late, but whatever. I was off yesterday, so we're doing it now.

After this class on Monday, I wrote about how nobody is watching Disney's Star Wars sequel trilogy. Nobody. Nielsen came out with the most-streamed Star Wars movies and shows for last May 4th, and none of the sequels made the list. Not one.

I realize this is a niche topic, so feel free to skip on down to Cameron Brink if you don't care. I won't be offended. But, I am curious from our Star Wars fans in class ... where exactly do you think the franchise went off the rails? I ask because some radio show in St. Louis read my story, and now they're having me on the actual air at 2:30 p.m. today to talk about it.

Bold move by them, I know.

Anyway, I assume I'll talk about how terrible the final two installments were (that's an understatement), and how, frankly, exhausting the characters became. Remember that one time John Boyega, who played Finn, whined about how Disney didn't do his black character justice?

Yeah, that's probably when they lost me. What about you? Let me know!

OK, let's go ahead and start class with Cameron Brink spending her final WNBA offseason days in the jungle doing jungle things:

But wait, she's not done yet!

That's how you get geared up for a big WNBA season, boys and girls. Take notes! You throw on your finest cheetah-print bikini, and get to work. Just like Michael Jordan did back in the '90s, I assume.

Brink, by the way, wasn't done. Did y'all see what she said this week? No? Well, buddy, take a seat and settle in for some A+ virtue-signaling!

CAITLIN CLARK, WHITE PRIVILEGE AND ME

"I’ve tried to be vocal about this and acknowledge there’s such a privilege, marketing-wise, being white and blonde," Brink told the same outlet that journeyed to the jungle with her. "It does really bother me seeing athletes and players who are consistently putting up crazy stat lines and not being rewarded by brands."

Giorgia, Framber & Skip!

Tough life for Cameron Brink. She's tall, blonde, hot, and getting paid to play basketball. All because she's white. Thoughts and prayers to all the white athletes out there going through it today. Sad.

Amazing.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

It's all just amazing. And, of course, exhausting. They just don't ever stop, do they? Cameron Brink isn't the first one to bitch and moan about her terrible "white privilege" in the WNBA, either. Folks forget that Caitlin Clark literally bent the knee a few years ago!

Remember this one?

Can't believe it's been 18 months since that moment! What a throwback. What a time to be alive. Caitlin got the memo, and so did Cameron. Oh well. The WNBA is nothing if not consistent, I guess.

OK, let's rapid-fire this Hump Day class into a big Hump Day Night because I've got to get ready to push the boundaries of FM radio in the Midwest.

JENA SIMS PICKS OUT HER PGA CHAMPIONSHIP BIKINI, KAY ADAMS SUCKS DOWN SOME FRIES & NFL DRAFT WAGS!

First up? Speaking of white privilege, how much would it take you to watch Friday's "First Take" reunion with Skip and Stephen A. Smith?

Remember the old days of "First Take"? I'm talking the "Cold Pizza" days. They were great. The best. But then these two got in the same room, and it became just insufferable. It was just constant yelling about Tim Tebow, LeBron or the Cowboys.

Skip did have some absolute BANGERS, though:

God, those were the days.

Next? Let's head to the diamond before getting on outta here!

What world are those two Tigers dudes living in?! How can they act THAT shocked by the ejection?

For those who weren't locked in on the Sox-Tigers game last night (most of you), Valdez gave up 10 runs and three homers, including back-to-back shots right before that pitch. The Sox — the TERRIBLE Red Sox — rocked him all night long.

And then he hit Trevor Story in between the numbers with a four-seam fastball, which he rarely throws. And they couldn't figure out if it was intentional or not?

OK. Sure thing, fellas!

That's it for today. Good Hump Day, everyone. Here's Italian PM Giorgia Meloni posting a fake picture of herself in some lingerie to warn about the dangers of AI.

"I must admit that whoever created them, at least in the attached case, has also improved me quite a bit."

Amazing.

OutKick Nightcaps is a daily column set to run Monday through Friday at 4 p.m. (roughly, we’re not robots).

Let's hear it, Star Wars fans. Email me at Zach.Dean@OutKick.com.

NASCAR sends dangerous message with latest penalty that has fans fuming: shut up and drive

Kyle Busch avoided punishment because SMT data was 'inconclusive' and he stayed silent on the radio

NASCAR sent out a loud message with their most recent wrist-slapping this week: Keep quiet, and you can do whatever you want.

Officials handed down their weekly penalties Tuesday after Sunday's contentious race at Texas, and, yes, we did have a driver penalized, fined, and docked points.

It just wasn't the one most fans expected.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE OUTKICK SPORTS COVERAGE

Ryan Preece was docked 25 points and fined $50,000 for his ... incident ... with Ty Gibbs during the race. For those who missed it, Preece was furious with Gibbs during a caution in the middle of the race, unleashing an all-time radio rant aimed at the 23-year-old:

"What a [expletive] idiot that kid is. He is so lucky his car is so [expletive] fast. … All right, when I get to that 54, I’m done with him. [Expletive] idiot."

ZERO BS. JUST DAKICH. TAKE THE DON’T @ ME PODCAST ON THE ROAD. DOWNLOAD NOW!

A man of his word, Preece did end up wrecking Gibbs.

NASCAR had to penalize Preece after that, right?

Yikes. Not great!

Which brings us to Kyle Busch — who was really ticked off Sunday. First, at Carson Hocevar. Next, at John Hunter Nemechek. Busch appeared to take Nemechek out on the final lap of the race, sending his No. 8 Chevy hard into JHN in Turn 3 and sending him spinning to the wall.

The video went viral, and the two eventually bickered about it on social media later Sunday night. Busch, a two-time Cup champ, was left off Tuesday's penalty report, and NASCAR's Mike Forde later explained why.

"We do look at all available resources, whether that’s the video, in-car audio, SMT data," Forde said on the "Hauler Talk" podcast. "And really what this came down to is … (Preece) said what he said, and then he did what he said."

"And so in our view," according to Forde, "It was intentionally wrecking another vehicle."

Forde later added that Busch didn't say anything on the radio about wrecking Nemechek. That, along with the SMT data that was "inconclusive," according to NASCAR, kept Busch's bank account safe this week.

Naturally, that's a tricky message to send. It's a potentially dangerous one.

The video of Busch's crash went viral because it looked so bad. Clint Bowyer and Kevin Harvick said as much on the broadcast. Fans went nuts on social media. If anyone was going to get docked points and be forced to send NASCAR a big, fat check this week, it was going to be Kyle Busch, right?

Except, he didn't say anything over the radio. Ryan Preece did. And NASCAR is basically saying, as long as you shut up and drive, you can get away with a lot.

Fans were quick to point that out, by the way:

So, where do we stand on this?

NASCAR, to be fair, was put in somewhat of a tough spot here. You had a driver (Preece) go on a Hall of Fame radio rant basically saying he was going to wreck the kid. And then, he did it. I'm not sure how you don't penalize him after that.

But had he just stayed quiet, would he have gotten away with it? Sure seems like it, given Kyle Busch — being the savvy veteran he is — did just that.

I've long said that NASCAR drivers usually do a good job of policing themselves on the track. Lord knows that's how it used to work. New data, readily available from the cars, makes that a bit trickier. What do we think Dale Earnhardt's data would've looked like at Bristol in 1999? Bet Terry Labonte would've loved to see it!

OUTKICK IS NOW ON THE FOX APP: CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD

But it sounds like as long as that data is inconclusive, and as long as you keep quiet on the radio, the series is OK with letting it still play out.

Fair? Foul? Let me know!

Red Sox broadcast fumes at Framber Valdez for acting like a child in bench-clearing move: 'What a joke'

NESN's Will Middlebrooks called the plunking 'weak' after Valdez gave up back-to-back home runs

Stop the presses — the Boston Red Sox have won two games in a row. That's right. One more win today, and that will be something we call a "winning streak." Look out, MLB!

Of course, Boston's latest win over the Detroit Tigers didn't come without some serious drama. It's 2026. There is always drama in Boston this year, it seems.

The Sox absolutely pummeled Detroit, 10-3, Tuesday night in a game that was a laugher from the start. Boston jumped on Tigers pitcher Framber Valdez all night long, belting three homers and touching him for 10 runs over three-plus innings. Yikes.

Valdez's fourth and final inning is where things really went south. He gave up a mammoth home run to Wilson Contreras to start the frame, and then another one to Wilyer Abreu. The third batter of the inning, Trevor Story, was then belted in the back on the first pitch from Valdez.

And that's when things spiraled:

NESN booth rips Valdez, rightfully so

"You can't get them out, so you throw at them. What a joke. The one guy who caused it is hiding in the back," said NESN analyst Will Middlebrooks.

"That is weak," added play-by-play man Dave O'Brien. "You give up three home runs, back-to-back shots, and then you drill Trevor Story."

And, just to bring it all home:

"Well, let's just hope he doesn't cross up his catcher now that he's mad," said Middlebrooks.

RED SOX'S ALEX BREGMAN MAKES HISTORY IN RETURN TO ASTROS HOME BALLPARK, DRAWING CHEERS AND JEERS FROM FANS

I mean, just a beatdown from the Red Sox... and their broadcast team! Finally, this team is showing some FIGHT this season. It only took six weeks. Better late than never, I reckon.

Obviously, this was intentional. Valdez tried to play dumb after the game when asked about it, but come on. Stevie Wonder knew he plunked Trevor Story on purpose. It's the oldest trick in the book.

You've gotten rocked all night long. You've given up 10 (!!!) runs before the fans even got to their seats. Wilson Contreras hit his to the moon and threw his bat to the first row.

So, naturally, someone's getting hit. That someone happened to be Trevor Story, right in the middle of the numbers in the back. That's Pitching 101.

As for the Red Sox broadcast crew ripping Valdez, I don't blame them, either. Will Middlebrooks is a former big leaguer. He's seen it all. He's not shy in the NESN or WEEI booth, nor should he be. Speak your mind! That's why you're there.

This is why we want professional athletes in the booth. I want to hear what they think when something like this happens, so I can make sure what I'm thinking is correct.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

Now, I didn't really need that confirmation in this case, but it was still nice to have.

The Red Sox, by the way, never retaliated. I would expect that to change today.

New streaming data paints shockingly grim picture for Disney's awful "Star Wars" sequels

The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker all failed to crack the top 10 most-streamed Star Wars films last May 4th

Happy "Stars Wars" Day to all who celebrate! And, according to Nielsen data released this morning, that's a lot of you.

And I mean a lot.

To celebrate May 4th, known in Star Wars circles as May the Fourth, the well-known data-keeper for all things TV published some pretty stunning data related to how viewers watch Star Wars in 2026. Obviously, it's all through streaming now, specifically on Disney+, which owns the rights to the franchise.

Because of that, we can pretty easily get a gauge on what moves the needle, and, more importantly, what doesn't.

For over a decade now, Disney has owned Star Wars. And, for over a decade now, fans have bashed them for ruining the beloved franchise. Ironically enough, this new data — all courtesy of Disney+ — paints a grim picture:

Not only are people not watching the three sequel movies — "The Force Awakens," "The Last Jedi" and "The Rise of Skywalker" — people really aren't even acknowledging their existence.

Disney's big Star Wars mistake is now etched in history

Look at that graphic, courtesy of Nielsen. It's jarring. We already knew it was bad, but I'm not sure we knew it was this bad.

Nielsen tracked the top 10 Star Wars movies fans streamed last May 4th, and the three new Disney installments didn't even sniff the list. Now, to be fair, "Andor" was No. 1, and that's obviously a Disney product.

But, there's a big caveat: "Andor" was in the middle of its second and final season this time last year. So, naturally, it was going to do big numbers. Still, "Andor" has received universal praise from fans, old and new, which is something we'll get into here in a bit.

DISNEY REVEALS FATE OF CLOSED STAR WARS HOTEL

The main takeaway, though? We knew the sequel saga was a disaster. The last two movies were a train wreck, with "The Rise of Skywalker" being universally hated and a box office disaster in the Star Wars universe. Oddly enough, the three prequel movies all made the list fairly easily.

As someone who grew up during the prequel era, I love those movies. When they were released, however, fans were pretty lukewarm on them. I'd say they really weren't truly appreciated until this latest batch of movies came out, mainly because folks realized how good we had it with George Lucas.

Here's another hot take: "Revenge of the Sith" is the best Star Wars movie ever made. But, that's a story for another time.

Anyway, back to the fancy graphics!

Star Wars fans agree on one thing

That one's interesting, too. It's also a major wake-up call for Disney in terms of the future of Star Wars. "Andor," once again, resonates with a large portion of the fan base. Millennials and Gen X both streamed "Andor" more than anything else. That's a huge chunk of the audience. Over 30 years of fandom!

DISNEY ATTENDANCE PLUNGES TO ALL-TIME LOW FOR 2025 AS VISITORS REPORT 'GHOST TOWNS' AT PARKS

It's now Disney's job to figure out what they did right with "Andor," and why it resonates with such a large chunk of Star Wars fans.

Better storytelling? Certainly.

Do fans used it as a bridge to the original saga? Probably. That's sort of the point. It goes back to what Star Wars was, at its core, back in the day: the Rebellion vs. the Empire.

Perhaps a tonal shift back to that is the key?

I don't know the answer. I'm a huge Star Wars fan, and the most recent three-movie arc was so beyond disappointing, it's hard for me to get excited about anything related to the franchise anymore.

I'm also not alone. Disney is set to release it's first theatrical Star Wars since "The Rise of Skywalker" later this month in "The Mandalorian and Grogu." It's a big deal for Disney as it looks to get out of this Star Wars funk they've been in for the better part of a decade.

Late last month, industry website Box Office Theory reported that the opening weekend box office prediction for the upcoming film based on pre-release ticket sales is just $71 million. In terms of Star Wars movies, that's horrendous.

Even the opening weekend of "Solo," which is considered one of the weaker films in the Disney era, would be about $110.5 million in today’s dollars, adjusted for inflation.

Not great!

Does Disney take this new data and use it? I doubt it. They've given us no reason to believe they will.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

But it's clear, and it confirms what we've all known for a while now: The Star Wars sequel films were an unmitigated disaster for Disney.

So much so, that folks now act like they don't even exist.

Lindsey Vonn ditches her undershirt in a fiery red pantsuit, Maggie Sajak is a force & coach attacks umpire!

Lindsey Vonn doesn't let the crutches stop her, a youth umpire took a nasty punch and let's recap the big wedding weekend!

First Monday of May? Don't mind if I do! A new month, boys and girls. A big month, too. This is the month, for me at least, that the year really starts to crank up.

I hate winter. I'm not a huge spring guy. I love summer, mainly because it's the final bridge to the fall, which is easily the best time of the year. It's not even close.

For me, summer starts this month. I know it's technically not right, but summer goes from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day Monday. That's summertime. Memorial Day to Labor Day. The little calendar in the upper right corner of my computer tells me that we're exactly three weeks away from Memorial Day, which means we're 19 days away from the beginning of Memorial Day weekend.

And that means, folks, that we're 19 days away from summer. Let's roll.

Welcome to a big Monday — the one where Lindsey Vonn still has a fastball despite being on not one, but two crutches. Doesn't matter. This is why she's a Hall of Famer.

What else? I've got plenty of #content from a big weekend, I'm somehow in pretty good shape today after my brother's wedding, and is this Fenway Park proposal the toughest thing you'll sit through today? Maybe! We'll see.

Grab you whatever Star Wars-themed drink your local bar is serving today to celebrate May the Fourth, and settle in for a Monday 'Cap!

Wedding weekend 2026 is in the books

So, we'll go ahead and jump right into the wedding weekend before we check in with Lindsey and get this week started.

I shot an 85 in Friday's rehearsal dinner game. I putted like absolute garbage. Our group finished second and I got my $20 back that I secretly stole from our kitchen drawer stash. The First Lady never knew the difference. I was sweating.

I had to give a speech Friday night at the rehearsal dinner after my brother called me out of the bullpen since my other brother (his best man) got moved to the main show on Saturday. I jotted a few things down on my phone that I wanted to say, but about 30 seconds after getting the mic I turned my phone off and free-balled it. I've never been someone to just read a script. That's boring.

I had about five whiskey-waters before the speech and didn't eat any of the appetizers they were walking around with. Risky business, but, from what I'm told, I made it work.

Going out after the rehearsal dinner is always the kiss of death on a wedding weekend. It's bitten me two years in a row now.

Waking up to both my kids jumping on me Saturday morning had me fighting for my life.

(That's not my bother. That's a stock photo I put in here because we have to now have three pictures in all of our stories. So, there you go. Love this.)

The biggest stress on the actual wedding day was whether or not both those kids would walk down the aisle without causing a scene. I've never sweated so much in my life. They both nailed it. You really do live vicariously through your kids.

David Allan Coe was played at the reception. So was the obligatory, "Courtesy of the Red, White & Blue," by Toby Keith. Both songs garnered, by far, the biggest reaction of the night.

The bar ran out of Michelob Ultras 90 minutes into the reception. The bartender told me they sold 450 bottles in an hour, which I found quite impressive.

Pro tip: For your next wedding, set up gambling lines for the entire day. Over/unders on everything. Length of the first kiss. Speeches. How long it'll take to get to the ceremony. You name it. We were all counting the seconds when they went in for the first kiss. I had OVER 2.5 seconds. They cleared it by a mile. What a rush!

What a weekend of #content!

A good weekend. As far as weddings go, there were no real disasters. I've been a part of some doozies. This one was pretty seamless from start to finish.

And hey! We even had a few readers in attendance. This class cleans up well. Well done to all.

OK, let's get to the best #content from a big weekend, and allow a recovering Lindsey Vonn to lead us off:

Fenway, ump/coach fight & Maggie wishes everyone a happy May the Fourth!

Another excellent weekend. A good way to end April. A better way to start May. A couple thoughts ...

My uncle was on a Spirit flight home Sunday morning. Obviously, that didn't happen. Instead, he had to re-book for Southwest for $1,400. Thanks, Elizabeth Warren!

Look at the elite company Spirit now joins, though ... Blockbuster, Circuit City, Kmart. We had it so good, and we just pissed it all away.

19 more Sundays sounds surprisingly doable.

KESHA WENT SKINNY DIPPING FOR MOTHER NATURE, KRISTIN CAVALLARI MODELS FOR HER BRAND & CONES OF SHAME

McDonald's eliminating self-serving soda stations by 2032 seems like a piece of news that won't matter in 2032. McDonald's has no clue what this world is going to look like in six years. None. The elimination of the soda fountain will most likely be small potatoes in that world.

That being said, the Diet Coke from McDonald's is, easily, the best beverage in the fast food industry. There's just something about it. It's special.

OK, let's rapid-fire this Monday class into a big Monday night. First up? Let's head to the diamond and check in on today's youth!

Goodness gracious. I was never part of a game that included a coach/dad throwing hands with the umpire, but we've been close a few times.

Imagine, just for a second, getting THAT fired up over an 11U baseball game. Also, it's 8-0 in the third inning. At that point, you're just running out the clock and praying for the mercy rule so you can get to the Beef 'O' Brady's down the street before the bar closes.

And hey! Beef 'O' Brady's! Another one of those former establishments up in foreclosure heaven. Is Beefs still a thing? We used to have one in our town years ago, but it's been a while. Sad.

Next? Let's head on up to Fenway and tie the knot!

Good Lord.

She looks pissed. He looks humiliated. They force a kiss at the end, but that's clearly just for the cameras. They're just trying to save face at that point. It had to be the most uncomfortable moment at Fenway Park this season, and that's saying something given the team is (in)arguably the worst team in baseball.

Which brings me to my next point ... why schedule a proposal at Fenway right now? Has this guy not followed the team this season? They are an embarrassment. They stink.

They've already fired half the team, and they've been in the American League cellar for a month now. The players are fighting. The coaches don't even know half of them by name. The team flat out STINKS.

FOX NEWS SPORTS HUDDLE NEWSLETTER: BILL BELICHICK'S SURPRISING NORTH CAROLINA DEBUT, ALABAMA DROPS THE BALL

And you schedule a marriage proposal?! That's on you. You dug your own grave on that one.

OK, that's it for today. Excellent start to (almost) summer. Let's finish strong with Maggie Sajak as the world's hottest Jedi, and have a big week.

See you Wednesday.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

OutKick Nightcaps is a daily column set to run Monday through Friday at 4 p.m. (roughly, we’re not robots).

Ever live bet a first kiss?
The most uncomfortable ballpark proposal in the history of time happened at Fenway Park this weekend

The awkward moment was all caught on camera for everyone to see.

Look, I don't love dumping on the Red Sox every single week. It's not fun. It hurts me. But, at this point, it's just too easy.

This organization is so cursed right now, it's starting to bleed over the bleachers. That's right. The fans are now getting in on the action, and not in a good way.

Let me start by saying this ... I hate ballpark proposals. Despise them. They are so overplayed at this point, and so painfully corny, I tend to just ignore most of them. No woman on this planet wants a stadium proposal. I promise you. She does not exist. And if she claims to exist, she's lying.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE OUTKICK SPORTS COVERAGE

I've been around women for long enough to know this. I've been married for a decade now. My wife has three sisters. They hate it, I promise.

And if you need some proof, let's go ahead and head to Fenway Park for another loss yesterday — both on and off the field!

Nothing good is happening at Fenway Park this season

Goodness gracious. The video doesn't really do it justice because the ambient noise sort of covers up for the awkwardness of the moment, but it just doesn't look fun.

She looks pissed. He looks humiliated. They force a kiss at the end, but that's clearly just for the cameras. They're just trying to save face at that point.

ZERO BS. JUST DAKICH. TAKE THE DON’T @ ME PODCAST ON THE ROAD. DOWNLOAD NOW!

Now, I have no clue if she said yes or no. The internet is convinced it was a rejection. At the very least, folks don't think it was a slam-dunk "yes." It's tough to tell from that angle, but it certainly doesn't look like anyone is having a blast.

It had to be the most uncomfortable moment at Fenway Park this season, and that's saying something given the team is (in)arguably the worst team in baseball.

Which brings me to my next point ... why schedule a proposal at Fenway right now?
Kyle Busch turns nasty during violent NASCAR race, F-bombs fly in wild radio rant & spectators wreck!

Kyle Busch showed zero patience throughout the day at Texas, Chase Elliott is a threat again and driver goes on 'suicide mission.'

Chase Elliott might be back. Kyle Busch might be toast. John Hunter Nemechek was finally relevant for an actual NASCAR race and got mauled over by a demon. And Ryan Preece went on the rant of the century over Ty Gibbs.

How'd you spend YOUR Sunday afternoon?!

Goodness gracious. Everyone left Texas mad. Just ... angry. Pure, raw, unedited anger. Sure, I could make the joke about everything being hotter in Texas right here, but I won't. We don't need any low-hanging fruit today. We've got plenty to fill our plate as it is.

Let's get to filling.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE OUTKICK SPORTS COVERAGE

We'll get to Chase, because NASCAR's Most Popular Driver may just be regaining his 2020-22 form. If that's the case, look out. Good for ratings, though!

We'll obviously get to Kyle Busch and JHN. Those two couldn't stop bumping into each other yesterday, and then it got analytical after the race. You'll see.

Along the way, we're gonna go on an F-bomb rampage with Ryan Preece, check out the Colorado Nationals because that event seems ELECTRIC, and then end the day with Kennedy Mosley defending her man.

Sound good? Good!

Four tires, enough fuel to get us to Watkins Glen even though it's May and NASCAR shouldn't be racing there in May, and maybe a beer or 10 for JHN and Kyle Busch ... Monday Morning Pit-Stop — the 'Everyone Hates Everyone!' edition — is live!

Kyle Busch vs. JHN, who ya got?!

Boy howdy, what a DAY at Texas. As I said, Chase Elliott might be back. We'll get to Chase here in a bit, but this wasn't a gas mileage win or a superspeedway win. This was different. This felt different. And, frankly, it should be a wake-up call for the rest of the garage.

But first, we're obviously gonna start the week with Kyle Busch and John Hunter Nemechek. Front Row Joe's son! Boy oh boy, was he put through the wringer on Sunday. Anyone who has to go up against Kyle Busch this season better be prepared for war, because Rowdy seems awfully close to that breaking point.

As an aside, Kyle did turn 41 over the weekend, so there's that. Happy birthday, Kyle!

Now, let's get to the video ...

Strap in:

Perhaps we should've seen it coming ...

Thoughts? Impressions?

I'm gonna be honest here ... I think I'm with John Hunter. And I'm usually pro-Kyle Busch. I'm always pro-Sam Busch. But I just don't know how you can watch that video and think this was an accident. It wasn't. Come on.

I know Kyle can't just come out and say it because that could make NASCAR's ears perk up just a bit, but he should just come out and say it.

ZERO BS. JUST DAKICH. TAKE THE DON’T @ ME PODCAST ON THE ROAD. DOWNLOAD NOW!

The video is damning. Listen to Kevin and Clint in the booth. They've both been there before. Lord knows they've both wrecked someone out of anger. I think Clint and Jeff Gordon are still beating the piss out of each other at Phoenix!

But they know. Maybe John Hunter pinched Kyle down the backstretch. Maybe. That part of that lap isn't as clear to me. Nobody was clear. Kyle went up too far. JHN went down just a tad. Not really sure why they did either. Just stay straight and work it out when you get to Turn 3.

So we can debate who pinched who to start the whole thing off. That's fair game. But after that? To me, it's obvious that Kyle Busch doored the hell out of him ... and then some.

And by the way, even if we decide the 42 came down on Kyle down the backstretch ... is that really a reason to wreck someone ... on the final lap!? You've made it that far, fellas. WHY ruin it now? It just didn't seem like that big of a deal.

Both cars were good yesterday. Let me say that again ... both KYLE BUSCH and JOHN HUNTER NEMECHEK had good cars yesterday. Those cars usually stink.

Somehow, they both actually brought good automobiles to a race track, and they were both junked by the end of it.

In hindsight, perhaps we should've seen this one coming from Rowdy ...

Carson Hocevar was nearly his first victim earlier in the day:

Chase is back, Ryan is angry & what an event!

Yeah, clearly, Kyle Busch was just on one yesterday. Don't know why, but he had zero patience from start to finish. Again, I don't really see why he's angry at Carson Hocevar. There are usually plenty of reasons to be pissed at Carson. He can sometimes race like a pissed-off teenager. I get it.

This ... didn't seem like one of those times. Does Kyle Busch not realize you're supposed to race each other in these events? That's sort of the whole point ... to race.

Why did he act so shocked yesterday when other drivers actually raced him and didn't just pull to the side and let him on though? I don't get it.

Anyway, the "we haven't been in the top-10 in three years" line was great. I'm not positive, but I think we also got a "put some ice on your crotch" line at the end, which was also delightful. What a day.

OK, let's all ice our crotches down and rapid-fire this first-Monday-of-May session into a big month. First up? Kyle Busch wasn't the only one in a pissy mood at Texas:

"End of rant."

"Yep, copy that."

"10-4, we're gonna come down and getcha four tires here and start over."

Perfection. No notes. We can go ahead and put Ryan Preece firmly on the "no" side when it comes to Ty Gibbs fans in the garage. Are there any on the "yes" side at this point?

Next? Plenty of Chase Elliott fans ... at least in the stands!

I agree. It's been a down few years for Chase. He's won, sure, but he hasn't been a real threat in quite some time. Hendrick has been sort of quiet all season besides Chase. Remember when William Byron was all the rage last season? We haven't really heard a peep from him this year.

Chase has now won twice over the past few weeks, and this one was pretty dominant. If that teams finds their mojo again ... look out. Frankly, I think they already have.

OK, two more on the way out.

I hate to go back to last week, but I'd like to quickly check in with Christopher Bell on the way out to get his thoughts on the current state of NASCAR's superspeedway package:

Okeeeeeeeeeedokeee! Christopher Bell — NOT a fan of the Next Gen car at 'Dega and Daytona. Gotcha!

I'm sure NASCAR loves him calling it a "suicide mission" too. Great look for the fellas in marketing!

Speaking of wrecks ...

Amazing. Didn't know this was a thing, but I couldn't be more all in. Give me MORE Spectator racing. Please. Inject it into my veins. This is what separates this country from everyone else.

Imagine a European watching that today. They'd be DISGUSTED. Not us. God, I love America.

OUTKICK IS NOW ON THE FOX APP: CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD

OK, that's it for today. Good work to all. Watch out for Kyle Busch on the roads!

Let's go ahead and let JHN's girlfriend, Miss Kentucky's Ken Mosley, take us into the first week of May. It's the right way to end this particular class.

Plus the best internet content of the week

We made it! Another week gone, and another Friday is upon us. Whew. Well done, everyone.

Wait. That's not right. That only applies to me today.

It's officially wedding week(end) down here in big, beautiful, FREE Florida. I've got a tux-fitting tonight that I'm sure will be depressing, and then golf tomorrow morning. My brother is set to sign his life away Saturday evening. All hands on deck. All systems GO.

So, today is my Friday. Matt Reigle will be pinch-hitting tomorrow. Hopefully our new students in class will treat him with the same hospitality you've shown me this week!

From Patrick K. in Texas!

"Look thru your articles and count the "I mean"… pathetic. You write like a 12 year old. You can't write and Travis needs to shave. Looks like a bum under an overpass."

Awesome! Thanks, Pat. Good to have you aboard!

CLICK HERE FOR MORE OUTKICK CULTURE COVERAGE

Now, let's see how many "I means" we can squeeze into the next 10 minutes, and get this class started.

Welcome to a Thursday Nightcaps — the one where CBS reporter Jenny Dell escapes to a beach for some R&R. Must be nice!

What else? I've got the best of the rest from a loaded week of #content since I'll be off tomorrow, a poor EMT in Sacramento is going THROUGH it today, and Shilo Sanders is hungry. You'll see.

Grab you an oatmeal cookie for National Oatmeal Cookie Day, and settle in for a Thursday 'Cap!

Jenny Dell and Will Middlebrooks leave town because the Red Sox are trash

I'm quite certain I've done this Mount Rushmore before, but — as you just saw — we have a lot of new faces in class. So, here's a refresher:

1. Heath Bar (but only the ones from Publix)

2. Oatmeal Raisin (yep)

3. Peanut Butter (but only if they're soft, I'm not a lunatic)

4. Sugar (the rare cookie where the dough is better than the actual cookie itself)

ZERO BS. JUST DAKICH. TAKE THE DON’T @ ME PODCAST ON THE ROAD. DOWNLOAD NOW!

Back when malls existed, ours used to have a great cookie store in it where they cut them in giant pizza/cake slices for you. Those were the best. Don't know why, but the pizza-cookie tastes 100 times better than the traditional ones.

And that's my Ted Talk for the day!

OK, let's get this class started. The Red Sox STINK, so Will Middlebrooks and former NESN field reporter/current CBS college football reporter Jenny Dell jetted off to South Florida to get away from the stench.

I do not blame them:

What a week of #content!

A) Man, do I miss Jenny on the NESN broadcasts. That's back when Red Sox baseball was at its peak.

B) Middlebrooks, for those who don't remember, was a legit big-leaguer on the Sox for a few years. I remember when he first came up. He was all the talk in Boston. He never quite panned out fully, but he was a huge part of the 2013 World Series team. He was part of that horrendous call at third in Game 3 that cost Boston the game. He's also a great broadcaster on WEEI now.

C) Lordy, could this awful team use his bat right about now. The most unlikeable, insufferable Sox team I can remember, and I had to sit through the 2012 Bobby Valentine team.

Speaking of, let's get to the best #content from a huge week. Imagine being the worst pitcher in baseball, and shaking your head as your interim manager yanks you from another awful start:

A liner, a sandwich, and David Allan Coe

Another solid week from the internet. You guys remain undefeated in that regard. Well done.

A couple thoughts ...

Feel free to look up the JP Morgan on your own time. It is a DOOZY.

Forget about Nate Oats ... I think Nick Saban is in trouble off the tee. He needed that one to draw a ton, and I'm not seeing it.

Taco Bell in the yellow wrappers. Man. What a time. The yellow Taco Bell paper and the yellow Wendy's cups. Peak time to be alive in this country. We had it so good.

We'll get to David Allan Coe here in a bit, but man, what a legend. We lost an all-time outlaw today. I can't share his best song, but if you know, you know.

OK, let's rapid-fire this Thursday class into a big Thursday night of tux-fitting. First up? Back to the diamond!

Lordy.

I've been there before. I've felt that exact pain. It's the worst. I'd venture to say it's the worst pain in all of professional sports. How's that for a hot take?

Sure, we may not be able to tell exactly where he was hit ... but we all know exactly where this poor dude was hit. And there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.

When you take one off the ... groin ... you just have to wear it. There is no quick remedy for it. No quick fix. You just have to power through and try to stop yourself from passing out. If you do, it's understandable. But you try not to.

We're taught as kids to wear a cup. Always wear a cup. Doesn't matter what position you play, just wear a cup. I was a catcher, and then a third baseman, and then a first baseman after my knees officially had enough.

Those three spots, along with the pitcher, are the hot zones in terms of line drives. The dugout is a close fifth, especially because you're never ready for it.

This poor EMT is feeling it today, but he'll power through. Stay strong!

Next? And while you're at it, make yourself a sandwich!

So, that's the big drama in the NFL today. Yes, it's a slow time of year. Shilo Sanders is pissed at Browns reporter Mary Kay Cabot because she ... stated the obvious? I mean (there it is!!), what are we doing here?

Duh. Did he watch Shedeur Sanders last year? I despise Deshaun Watson, and I'm fairly certain he should be starting over Shedeur Sanders.

Shilo, by the way, later went on his Twitch stream and further explained his riff, accusing Mary of caping up for Deshaun Watson and having some personal vendetta against Shedeur.

Let me say that again ... he thinks Mary Kay Cabot — a FEMALE reporter — is caping up for DESHAUN WATSON.

Yeah, OK! Sure thing, Shilo.

OK, that's it for today — and, for me, this week. Everyone be nice to Reigle.

Here's David Allan Coe to take us (me) into the weekend.

OUTKICK IS NOW ON THE FOX APP: CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD

OutKick Nightcaps is a daily column set to run Monday through Friday at 4 p.m. (roughly, we’re not robots).

Favorite DAC song?
Male EMT in Royals dugout drilled by foul ball in the absolute worst possible spot

You always have to have your head on a swivel at a baseball game

You watch — and play — baseball for long enough, you think you've seen it all. As a former catcher, I'm quite certain that I've felt it all.

There is nothing more dangerous than a line drive. Nothing. I'd venture to say it's the riskiest thing in all of sports. We're taught as kids to wear a cup. Always wear a cup. Doesn't matter what position you play, just wear a cup.

I was a catcher for years, and then I got Mike Piazzaed and eventually moved to first base in college because my knees were shot. Those two positions, along with third base, are the most vital spots on a diamond in terms of cup-wearing. You get SMOKED in those three spots. I'll go ahead and add the pitching mound in there, too.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE OUTKICK SPORTS COVERAGE

You always have to wear a cup, but those four spots are crucial.

Anyway, a close fifth is the dugout. That place is the Wild Wild West in terms of action during a game. One minute you're sitting there, spitting seeds and talking ball. The next, you're ducking for dear life because someone was late on a heater and lined one right at you.

And for those who don't believe me, let's go ahead and head to Sacramento, where an EMT minding his own business during Wednesday's Athletics-Royals game got the most unfortunate wake-up call I've ever seen.

UMPIRE LEAVES METS-TWINS GAME AFTER GETTING HIT IN HEAD WITH LINE DRIVE

Royals EMT had a tough moment here

Holy cow. I've been there before. I've felt that exact pain. It's the worst. Again, I'd venture to say it's the worst pain in all of professional sports.

MARLINS' MATT MERVIS SUFFERS BRUTAL HIT IN THE GROIN AFTER MISSED PLAY

Couple things I do love here:

The crowd's reaction. They knew it almost immediately.

The team's reaction. That's pure ballplayer stuff right there. Nobody is concerned about the EMT. They know he'll be fine. So, they just start laughing. They can't help it. It's a natural reaction in the dugout. You see someone get hit in the nuts, you laugh. You can't help it. It might come off as cold, but it's simply a rite of passage in a baseball dugout.

OUTKICK IS NOW ON THE FOX APP: CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD

Anyway, thoughts and prayers to that brave EMT today. He was hurting when he woke up. He's a soldier, though. He'll fight on.

Not all heroes wear capes.

Angel Reese looks impressively bad in preseason game against her former team

Reese was traded from the Chicago Sky to the Atlanta Dream earlier this month

Can you feel it?! The WNBA is BACK, baby! Alert the presses. Send smoke from the Vatican. Set your DVRs. It's almost that time.

But first, of course, we have to work off the rust in the preseason, which is what I hope Angel Reese was doing Wednesday night against her old team.

For those who didn't keep up with the WNBA offseason (shame on you!), Reese was traded from the Chicago Sky to the Atlanta Dream earlier this month. Why? I have no idea. I don't particularly care.

ZERO BS. JUST DAKICH. TAKE THE DON’T @ ME PODCAST ON THE ROAD. DOWNLOAD NOW!

What I do care about, however, is how Angel performs on the court. She's a #content machine. Sometimes, she plays well, and looks like an absolute force out there. Sometimes, she does something dumb — usually at Caitlin Clark's expense — and that's good #content, too.

But sometimes, she looks so unfathomably bad, you almost think the highlights are AI generated.

Wednesday night's preseason game against her former team was one of those times:

This is the Angel Reese content we've missed

I shared that second post only to show how silly it looks after seeing the highlights. "Angel Reese got going."

Come on. Fair is fair. I've defended Angel Reese plenty around here. I've long said she is great for the WNBA, because, even when people hate-watch, they're still watching. That's good for business.

But to say she "got going" after hitting two shots from the field and missing half her free throws is hilarious. Sure, she had some fine moments. Like this one:

CLICK HERE FOR MORE OUTKICK SPORTS COVERAGE

Good play. Reese has it in her. I've seen it!

But also ... LOOK at some of those other plays last night! I know it's preseason, but still ... it was a tough watch. A funny watch, but a tough one.

These Angel Reese "highlight" videos go viral on social media about 10 times a year, and it's jarring every single time. It's the same thing every time with these videos. The "highlights" are good. But the "lowlights" are always more incredible to watch unfold. Your jaw just hits the floor every time.

Some of her misses are just insane, given how big she is. You'd think she'd just dominate the league, and, to her credit, she does that on some nights.

But other nights, you get stuff like this:

Amazing. Gets me every time.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

Anyway, it's good to have the WNBA back. It's even better to have Angel Reese back.

I think we're in for a special season.
