Delaware neighborhood on edge after masked men with apparent weapons knock on doors of homes

New Castle County police believe the weapon carried by one suspect may have been an airsoft-style gun

Cameras in a Delaware neighborhood caught at least two masked men knocking on doors late Friday night, including one carrying an apparent rifle, police said.

Images released by the New Castle County Police Department show a man wearing a tactical-style vest and holding what appears to be a rifle while knocking on a home's front door.

A separate image shows another individual approaching a front door wearing a black vest and mask.

TIMELINE REVEALS HOW MAN IN 'CHUCKY' MASK TERRORIZED PHILADELPHIA STREETS, EVADED POLICE

According to police, officers were called to the 1200 block of Canvasback Drive in Mallard Pointe, New Castle, around 10:50 p.m. Friday following a report of a suspicious person.

Residents told police that a man wearing a black hockey-style mask and tactical-style vest approached homes while carrying what appeared to be a rifle.

MAN WITH JOKER-INSPIRED RIFLE FIRES GUN, RUNS INTO TRAFFIC NEAR TRUMP GOLF COURSE, DEPUTIES SAY

The man allegedly knocked on doors before running away, according to police.

Authorities said four men were also seen heading eastbound on Mallard Road — two on bicycles and two on foot.

Officers and a K-9 unit conducted a search of the neighborhood and nearby properties but could not locate the individuals.

Although police have not confirmed whether the weapons were real firearms, they said they believe the weapons may have been airsoft-style guns.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

Anyone with information about the incident or home security footage from the surrounding area is urged to call 911 or the department's non-emergency number at 302-573-2800.

Kirby Smart has entered his most dangerous era after Georgia’s aggressive win over Alabama

The Bulldogs overcame a halftime deficit and late drama in Tuscaloosa to beat Kalen DeBoer's Tide

TUSCALOOSA, AL- Don't tell Georgia or Alabama that Saturday night's game in Tuscaloosa was meaningless because of the current college football playoff format.

After a week full of drama surrounding Hurricane Isaias and whether we would see these two teams take the field on time, fans were treated to a heavyweight showdown inside Bryant Denny Stadium on Saturday in front of a soaked crowd watching from the stands.

We did not need any extra hype for this one. The theatrical movies that schools release before kickoff were not going to do anything that the Bulldogs and Tide couldn’t do when they arrived around 5:40 p.m. EST on Saturday afternoon.

WATCH AS OUTKICK'S TREY WALLACE BRAVES HURRICANE ISAIAS' BEFORE ALABAMA-GEORGIA SHOWDOWN IN TUSCALOOSA

This was about Kirby Smart trying to buck the regular season trend against Alabama, while Kalen DeBoer looked to put his team back into the perceived national spot that some wanted to argue they had fallen out of.

What you got was two teams trading haymakers for a first half that ended with DeBoer going for a touchdown with just seconds remaining on the clock, taking a 14-10 lead into the locker room.

ALABAMA PROVIDES UPDATE FOR SHOWDOWN AGAINST GEORGIA, AS SCHOOL, SEC AND TRUMP PLAN FOR HURRICANE ISAIAS

This came after Georgia had found its way out of its own end of the field on two occasions for 10 points.

Hurricane doesn’t put a damper on heavyweight fight in Tuscaloosa

A late-arriving crowd inside a a misty Bryant Denny Stadium watched two coaches trying to outmaneuver each other for four quarters, while Keelon Russell and Gunner Stockton traded shots on offense.

What more could you ask for on a day filled with so much drama around college football?

Heck, in the fourth quarter alone this evening, Georgia missed a field goal that would have given it the lead against Alabama, while Kentucky missed a 26-yard chip shot that would have tied the game with LSU.

There were plenty of times in this game tonight where Georgia felt like the better football team, in all facets. But then, when you have such dynamic team like Alabama that can score on you within seconds, no lead seemed safe.

In reality, we were watching two of the best teams in college football in Tuscaloosa, and it doesn’t matter that they both come from the SEC. You can add Ohio State to that list, while taking Texas off of it at the same time.

We are reaching that point in the season where the frauds are starting to show themselves, and there wasn’t one on the field in Tuscaloosa. We can talk about Alabama and this team moving past the Saban era until we're blue in the face, and some will still be doing 10 years from now.

ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE NAMES STARTER FOR WEEK ONE: GET TO KNOW BAMA QUARTERBACK KEELON RUSSELL

While Georgia would retake the lead with a field goal on the ensuing drive, the officials would become part of the story late in the fourth quarter.

Chaos reigned on Alabama's drive, as Georgia was not called for an obvious pass interference that would have resulted in the Tide extending its drive by 15-yards. But, as the boos reigned down from the Bryant Denny Stadium stands, there was nothing left for the Alabama fans to cheer about after the Bulldogs sacked Keelon Russell on the ensuing play.

In that moment, tacked on with a personal foul against Dijon Lee that resulted in Georgia being able to take a knee and run the clock out, which once led to Kalen DeBoer being the most animated we've seen him during his time at Alabama.

Georgia is the best team in college football, and Kirby Smart is more dangerous

Until somebody beats them, it's the Dawgs.

One way or the other, Kirby Smart has a football team that finds a way to win football games, which is not the case for other teams across the Southeastern Conference, or the sport.

"I didn’t come here to lose," Kirby Smart said after the game.

We witnessed a football team fighting through adversity, with the world wondering if Kirby Smart was going to get over some type of perceived hump.

The problem for those pushing that message: Kirby Smart really does not care any longer. Following the win, Smart bolted straight for the visitors section, slinging his visor around in the air while the Georgia fans and Kirby's wife waited to embrace his family.

"I'd rather make memories with my family, team and coaching staff ... I just wanted to celebrate with my wife..She deserved a kiss for all that she puts up with from me."

We are witnessing a new Kirby Smart, who is not worried about trying to silence critics or whatever is being written about him.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

That's a dangerous man, who seems to be fighting more for the respect from his family and those who encompass the football facility in Athens.

"Do I wanna win championships? Hell yeah, but I have a lot more respect for them (family and players) to understand that there's a lot more important things in life."

Welcome to the new era of Kirby Smart.

Trump says he'd 'love' to have Sen. John Fetterman as a Republican amid growing speculation

The Pennsylvania Democrat has broken with his party on immigration and Iran, voting with Democrats just 81% this session

President Donald Trump praised Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., as a "great guy" on Saturday, saying he would welcome the Pennsylvania Democrat into the Republican Party.

Trump was asked by a reporter after stepping off Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews whether he had spoken to Fetterman — who has repeatedly broken with Democrats during the current session of Congress — about becoming a Republican and whether he would welcome such a switch.

"I'd love to see it. I think he's great," Trump responded.

"It's going to be hard for him to get the nomination as a Democrat, but I'd love to have him as a Republican," he continued.

REPUBLICANS SAY THEY'D WELCOME FETTERMAN AS GOP EYES BIGGER SENATE MAJORITY

Trump described Fetterman as a "great guy" with "magnificent parents," whom he said he had spoken with previously.

"He's a very solid person," Trump added. "He's smart and all that, but he's got great common sense."

Trump also suggested that switching parties could benefit Fetterman politically.

"If you look at the polls, he does better as a Republican than he does as a Democrat," he said.

MAVERICK DEMOCRAT SURGES WITH REPUBLICANS AS HIS OWN PARTY TURNS ON HIM, STOKING TALK OF GOP SWITCH

Trump's comments come as Fetterman has repeatedly broken with Democrats on key issues, including the Iran war and immigration, although he continues to vote with his party the vast majority of the time.

Since joining the Senate in 2023, Fetterman has voted with Senate Democrats nearly 90% of the time. During the current session of Congress, however, that figure has fallen to just under 81%, Fox News Digital previously reported.

Fetterman's occasional breaks with his party have fueled speculation in recent months about whether he might eventually become a Republican. He has also reportedly used Republican fundraising platforms to solicit donations and maintains a close friendship with Sen. Katie Britt, R-Ala.

Last month, Fetterman recorded a video introducing Sen. Dave McCormick, R-Pa., at the Republican Midterm Convention.

FETTERMAN TEASES WHERE HIS TRUE LOYALTY LIES AFTER SURPRISE APPEARANCE AT GOP CONVENTION

He also mistakenly referred to himself as a lifelong Republican during an appearance at the Texas Tribune's TribFest last month.

An attendee at the event asked why Fetterman did not run as an independent.

"Because I'm a lifelong Republican," he said, before realizing his mistake. "I guarantee you that will break through. That will get clipped."

Fox News Digital has reached out to Fetterman's office for comment.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

Fox News Digital's Alex Miller and Anders Hagstrom contributed to this report.

Alabama's Kalen Deboer incensed at player who 'just cost us the damn game' vs Georgia with boneheaded penalty

Dijon Lee's late personal foul gave Georgia an automatic first down, allowing the Bulldogs to knee out the clock

There was an outside chance that the Alabama Crimson Tide were going to pull out a miracle win over Georgia, but a boneheaded foul turned that chance into zero.

With just over two minutes to go, No. 2 Georgia was set for a third-and-2 on its own end of the field, but Alabama defensive back Dijon Lee committed an unacceptable penalty.

Lee grabbed a Bulldog by his jersey and hit him with an open hand in the face twice. Lee was flagged, giving the Bulldogs an automatic first down. Alabama had no timeouts remaining, and Georgia was able to kneel out the clock Saturday.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE OUTKICK SPORTS COVERAGE

Safe to say, Kalen DeBoer was not happy.

When Lee reached the sideline , an irate DeBoer gave the player much more than an earful, and it appeared the coach told Lee that he "just cost us the d— game."

At first, Lee wanted no part of DeBoer's message, but he ultimately didn't have much of a choice.

UNRANKED OKLAHOMA KNOCKS OFF NO. 1 TEXAS IN WALK-OFF FASHION AFTER ARCH MANNING'S ROUGH 4TH QUARTER

DeBoer had already been pushed to the brink — or so everyone thought — a couple of plays earlier. With just over three minutes to go, Alabama was looking for a score, and Georgia may have gotten away with defensive pass interference in the end zone.

SIGN UP FOR THE DAILY OUTKICK NEWSLETTER

The next play, quarterback Keelon Russell was sacked out of field goal range, taking away any chance for the Crimson Tide to tie the game at 20 late.
Trump says he will 'make a decision' on Pentagon's plans to livestream Nidal Hasan's firing squad execution

The military's first execution in more than six decades is scheduled for Dec. 3 by firing squad

President Donald Trump said Saturday he had not decided whether the firing squad execution of convicted Fort Hood gunman Nidal Malik Hasan would be livestreamed, saying he will ultimately "make a decision."

The Pentagon confirmed to Fox News Digital earlier this week that the execution of Hasan – a former Army major who was convicted of killing 13 people and wounding 32 others at Fort Hood in 2009 – was scheduled to be livestreamed on Dec. 3.

Trump, however, said he had not decided whether to allow the military's first execution in more than six decades to be broadcast from Fort Hood.

"He was vicious, he was violent," Trump told reporters at the White House when asked about Hasan's execution.

VETERAN SHOT 7 TIMES IN FORT HOOD MASSACRE HAS A WARNING FOR AMERICANS PLANNING TO WATCH EXECUTION

"There are two thoughts: don't show it and show it," he continued. "Because, you know, by showing it, maybe other people won't be doing what he did."

"I'll make a decision, ultimately," Trump added. "I know what the military would like to do, but we'll make a decision."

Fox News Digital previously reported that Trump approved the use of an Army firing squad following a recommendation from War Secretary Pete Hegseth.

Trump's comments came one day after he was asked whether he had approved the decision to livestream the execution.

MULTIPLE DEATH SENTENCES IN DIFFERENT STATES ARE SET TO BE CARRIED OUT WITHIN 24 HOURS: 'NOT VERY COMMON'

"I wasn't involved in that decision, but I understand the decision," Trump said during an interview Friday with CNY Central following a rally in Syracuse.

Trump added that the military wanted the execution to "serve as an example, and I understand that very well."

Vice President JD Vance said Friday that he wasn't sure whether the execution would be livestreamed.

"If it's ultimately livestreamed, I'm not going to be watching it," he told reporters.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

If Hasan's execution is carried out, it would be the first conducted by the U.S. military since 1961 and the first military execution by firing squad since 1945.

Fox News Digital's Jasmine Baehr contributed to this report.

Kentucky shocks LSU with second-straight walk-off two-point conversion win in overtime

The Wildcats became the first FBS team to win back-to-back overtime games by a single point

You'd think it would be hard to top winning a game by pushing your chips to the center of the table and putting everything on a two-point conversion attempt in overtime to win, like the Kentucky Wildcats did last week against South Carolina.

Well, they found a way: they did it again, and this time it was against the No. 10 LSU Tigers.

The Wildcats pulled off a shocker, beating the Bayou Bengals 35-34 in overtime.

The two teams traded scoring drives all game long, with both quarterbacks, LSU's Sam Leavitt and Kentucky's Kenny Minchy, both having big nights, throwing for 275 and 246 yards respectively.

By the end of regulation, it was tied 27-27, with LSU getting the first possession in overtime.

LANE KIFFIN SHARES WHY HE DECLINED TO HAVE A RUNNING CLOCK IN SECOND HALF OF LSU'S BLOWOUT WIN OVER MCNEESE

Leavitt got things started with a 10-yard pass, and then followed it up with a 15-yard run to the house to give LSU the lead.

Coach Lane Kiffin sent out his kicking team, and Scott Starzyk booted the extra point to give them a seven-point lead.

WHO'S REALLY PLAYED THE BEST THUS FAR THROUGH THE FIRST HALF OF THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON?

This is exactly what happened to Kentucky just one week earlier against the Gamecocks. Kentucky gave up a touchdown and extra point, and then countered with a touchdown of their own and a two-point conversion for the win.

Running back CJ Baxter scored on a 1-yard run, and sure enough, Kentucky coach Will Stein kept his offense on the field.

The two-point attempt wasn't without drama. Kiffin used a timeout, and then Stein used one of his own just in time to negate a crystal-clear false start on his Wildcats.

When they finally got the ball off, LSU seemed to think they were going to pass it, which gave Minchy a ton of daylight to trot into the end zone for the win.

What a way to end it... again!

That made the Wildcats the first team in FBS history to win back-to-back overtime games by a single point.

Will Stein should probably hit a roulette table the way his gambling has been paying off.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

That's a statement win for the Wildcats and a crushing defeat for the Wildcats, who have now lost two so far this season.

Guardians complete ALDS comeback over White Sox, strike out record 21 batters to set up date with Rays

Jose Ramirez's two-run home run and dominant pitching from Gavin Williams powered Cleveland's comeback from 2-0 down

No air conditioning is needed in Cleveland on Saturday night, because they are feeling the breeze of the Chicago White Sox bats.

Guardians pitchers combined to strike out a nine-inning postseason record 21 White Sox batters, as they completed the comeback from down 2-0 in the American League Division Series to win Game 5, 2-0.

Gavin Williams got the start for Cleveland and dominated from the jump - of the 21 batters he faced, 12 of them went down on strikes. He tossed 5.2 scoreless innings, allowing just one hit, two walks, and a hit batsman.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE OUTKICK SPORTS COVERAGE

Williams was shoving all night, but Jose Ramirez gave him quite a nice cushion, golfing a two-run home run in the fourth inning. The pitch was 8.88 inches off the ground, the lowest for a postseason home run since at least 2008 and the lowest of Ramirez's career.

That was all the Guardians needed, as Williams got five more outs, and the bullpen took care of the rest. Erik Sabrowski, Evan Gaddis, and Cade Smith combined to get the final 10 outs, striking out nine in the process (Sabrowski struck out the lone batter he faced, and Gaddis and Smith each punched out eight batters).

AARON JUDGE'S FRUSTRATION WITH YANKEES IS UNDERSTANDABLE, BUT HIS 'ALL-IN' CRITICISM MISSES THE MARK

Ramirez is a hero after what had been quite the down season. His .235 average, .320 on-base percentage, and .368 slugging percentage were all his lowest marks since 2015 when he was spending some of his time in Triple-A. He started out 0-for-6 in the series but went 5-for-12 in the final three, with two homers, a triple, and a double.

The White Sox have been prone to the strikeout all season long, having the fifth-highest strikeout rate in the league, but this was another level. In the regular season, they struck out 24.1% of the time, but that number bumped up to 63.6% on Saturday.

Cleveland lost the first two games of the series on their own home field, giving the White Sox a chance to clinch a series at home for the first time since 1906. But alas, they will now be headed home after Cleveland won three-consecutive elimination games.

The Guardians will face the Tampa Bay Rays in the American League Championship Series, their second trip to the round in the last three seasons. The Rays are fresh off a sweep over their AL East rival New York Yankees.

OUTKICK IS NOW AVAILABLE ON THE FOX NEWS APP: CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD

The ALCS begin Monday in Florida, and the winner of that will face either the Los Angeles Dodgers, who are trying to threepeat, or the Milwaukee Brewers, whose small-market operation will try to dethrone the champs.

The WWE star survived a botched swanton dive that left the New Orleans crowd silent before grabbing the briefcase

Tiffany Stratton, Roxanne Perez, Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Jacy Jayne and Lash Legend each went above and beyond to create a certain level of danger in the ring you don’t normally see.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE OUTKICK PRO WRESTLING COVERAGE

Stratton would be the last one standing. She survived the scramble around the ladder to grab the briefcase and become the second woman ever to win the match twice. She initially won in 2024 and cashed in on Nia Jax to win the WWE Women’s Championship. Now, she’s just as dangerous as ever with a guaranteed title shot in the palms of her hand.

It was far from a cakewalk for "Tiffy Time." Her night started with a hard fall to the ground.

Stratton slams her head on the ground

Stratton was trying to give the WWE Universe a must-see moment almost at the jump. She climbed to the tallest ladder outside the ring and hoped to take out Legend, Ruca, Perez and Vice below.

However, as she went for the swanton dive, it appeared she didn’t get enough momentum on her flip. Stratton’s legs caught the wrestlers below her but her head slammed onto the padded ground below her.

Stratton immediately sat up and held her head for a few moments. The crowd nearly went silent as officials continuously checked on Stratton to make sure she was OK. It was a very scary fall that could have gone much, much worse than it did.

Somehow, Stratton was able to continue on through the match and pick up the win.

Sol’s splash through the ladder

If the Stratton head bang wasn’t enough to have you scream "Oh s---!" in your living room or at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Ruca took the heart-stopping moments to a new level.

Legend found herself in a precarious position. She was sprawled out on a ladder that was wedged between the ring apron and the announce table. She was a sitting duck and Ruca took advantage.

Ruca jumped to the top of the turnbuckle, gave Legend a polite wave and hit a frog splash that sent both competitors through the ladder. Legend writhed in pain on the ground as Ruca took a second on her back to gather herself.

Jayne and Vice’s dangerous tumble

Jacy Jayne told OutKick Dropkick she was going to be "Jacy in the Bank" by the end of the night. She wouldn’t share her strategy, but made clear she was studying up on each wrestler’s tendencies before going into the match. But nothing could have prepared her for her fall.

Jayne went up to grab the briefcase with a ladder wedged in between the ropes and the one she was standing on as she tried to grasp at her title opportunity. Behind her was Vice, who wasn’t going to let Jayne get her mitts on that case.

THE CRAIG CARTON SHOW–UNFILTERED, UNAPOLOGETIC AND UNMISSABLE. DOWNLOAD HIS DAILY PODCAST NOW!

Vice had Jayne in a chokehold. They fell backward and onto the perpendicular ladder. Instead of falling through it, the two superstars tipped the ladder up and they slid down it and out of the ring and onto the floor. Their backs scarred.

Both seemed to be OK but they wouldn’t be factors through the final scramble.

Sol hangs by a thread

Ruca had a very good opportunity to get the briefcase herself. She and Stratton were on the ladder at the same time, fighting to gain some kind of advantage.

Jayne came out of nowhere and pushed the ladder down. Stratton narrowly avoided getting tangled in the ropes. Ruca hung onto the hook that carried the briefcase.

OUTKICK IS NOW AVAILABLE ON THE FOX NEWS APP: CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD

She then dropped from the hanger and landed on top of Jayne, Stratton and Legend.

Browns players hit with fines for pretending to smoke after scoring a touchdown

Quinshon Judkins and Watson were each fined $14,397 while guard Austin Barber was docked $6,944

NFL celebrations are in the news once again, and a few Cleveland Browns players are learning that while the league's guidelines are sometimes murky, you can't pretend to puff-puff-pass a doob in the end zone.

Sorry, I don't make those rules.

The Browns took on the division rival Pittsburgh Steelers this week. In the second quarter, running back Quinshon Judkins found the end zone, and that was reason enough to light up some pretend jazz cigarettes.

BROWNS’ LATE FIELD GOAL SPOILS AARON RODGERS’ THURSDAY NIGHT FINALE, SEALS CLEVELAND'S THIRD STRAIGHT WIN

The league, perhaps predictably, didn't dig that one.

It was announced on Saturday that Judkins and QB Deshaun Watson had been fined a cool $14,397, while guard Austin Barber, who also snuck a hit off of the invisible blunt, had to pony up $6,944.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE OUTKICK SPORTS COVERAGE

This comes after the league rescinded fines levied against 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk and Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson for pretending to chug an imaginary drink.

After meeting with the NFLPA, the league decided that drinking celebrations were okay, but obviously, smoking celebrations are still verboten.

Which clears things up a little bit... but I think we need further experimentation.

I think for the sake of understanding these rules, a player needs to score and then celebrate by pretending to sip a glass of scotch while puffing away on an imaginary cigar.

Is that a drinking celebration or a smoking celebration?

Just sounds like a gentleman detective unwinding in his study to me, but how does the NFL see it? Is it a fine? Is it not a fine? Is it a smaller fine because the drinking dilutes the smoking?

Does it matter that they're just pretending to smoke something that doesn't have the "Reefer Madness" element to it?

Fans and players need clarification on the nuances of smoking and drinking celebrations, and as far as I can tell, this is the only way to find out.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

...Well, I guess someone could just ask, but my way is more fun.

Roman Reigns slams the door on LA Knight’s world title hopes after incredible match at Money in the Bank

LA Knight pushed Reigns to the limit at Smoothie King Center before The Bloodline's war with 946 ignited

It was now or never for LA Knight in his pursuit of a world title. On Saturday night at Money in the Bank, Roman Reigns made sure it was never.

Reigns slammed the door shut on Knight’s World Heavyweight Championship hopes, successfully defending the title at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans in front of a hot crowd that was on the edge of their seat throughout the entire match.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE OUTKICK PRO WRESTLING COVERAGE

Sure, fans appeared to be in Reigns’ corner. They acknowledged him. They chanted "OTC." But as Knight came with in a millisecond of pinning Reigns, the crowd turned. They wanted to see Knight pull off the impossible in what was the best match of his WWE career up to this point.

Knight pulled out all the stops. He nailed a jumping superplex and put Reins into the Burning Hammer. He couldn’t get the pain. He ate multiple Superman punches and kept his shoulders off the mat. He avoided a spear and countered with a BFT. Outside of the ring, Knight avoided Reigns’ attempt to spear him through the barricade. Then, he powerbombed him through the announce table.

The challenger brought Reigns back into the ring and still couldn’t get the win. The yelps were loud in my house as Knight nearly got the pinfall multiple times.

All of Knight’s momentum came to a screeching halt when Reigns put him onto the ropes, attacking the groin area. Knight never recovered. He stumbled around the ring as Reigns hit him with two more Superman punches and the final spear.

Reigns avoided Knight’s mind games. He looked Knight square in the eyes when Knight flipped him the bird in his own kind of acknowledgment. He played his own game – slow, methodical, purposeful, which was a far cry from his Mexico City title defense against Penta about a month ago.

THE CRAIG CARTON SHOW–UNFILTERED, UNAPOLOGETIC AND UNMISSABLE. He is at the Head of the Table and there is no one who can touch him no matter how popular his challenger is.

Still, the sharks were lurking.

As soon as the match ended, 946 appeared in the crowd. Royce Keys, Lucien Price and Bronco Nima signaled they were coming after the champ. The Usos and Solo Sikoa appeared right behind them.

The two stables brawled throughout the arena. As they got outside, Jaida Parker appeared in an SUV and got the 946 out of harm’s way.

OUTKICK IS NOW AVAILABLE ON THE FOX NEWS APP: CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD

The LA Knight problem is over for Reigns and The Bloodline.
Toxicology reports reveal same controlled substances in 2 Ole Miss students found dead: court docs

Aidan Hamilton and Robert Strang had MGM-15, MGPI present in their blood

The same three substances were present in the bloodstreams of two recently deceased University of Mississippi students, according to federal court documents obtained by Fox News Digital.

Ole Miss students Aidan Hamilton, 18, and Robert Strang, 20, both had Mitrogynine, and the Schedule 1 controlled substances MGM-15, and MGPI present in their bloodstreams, according to toxicology reports revealed in a court filing reviewed by Fox News Digital.

The revelations come ahead of the public release of the full toxicology report.

The three substances, according to the document, are all found in Smax-Mango Breeze pills, which investigators determined Hamilton and Strang had in their possession at the time of their Sept. 21 deaths in Oxford.

KRATOM INDUSTRY WARNS SYNTHETIC OPIOIDS SHOULD NOT BE CALLED 'KRATOM'

"During the investigations, packaging associated with kratom-related products was discovered at both locations," Lafayette County Metro Narcotics said in a September statement.

Specifically, officers found packages of Smax Mango Breeze MGM-15 with price tags reading $39.99, each with a black smudge on the first 9, at both sites.

Law enforcement officers arrested 51-year-old Yahya Mohamed Mosleh and his son, 18-year-old Islam Mohamed Mosleh, on charges connected to a narcotics' investigation involving an Oxford tobacco shop, Puffs Vape, Tobacco and Beer Store.

The men are facing federal drug charges after investigators say they traced purchases made by Strang and Hamilton at the store before their deaths, according to court documents.

VAPE STORE CLERKS NEAR OLE MISS CAMPUS, JAILED FACING DRUG CHARGES

According to court documents, agents made a controlled purchase of the substance from Yahya Mosleh, at which time he allegedly sold them a product that was hidden in a locked container, a product which the court documents say "had been banned by local ordinance for more than 4 years."

Shortly after the purchase, agents obtained a search warrant and conducted a search of the store where they found "the same Smax Mango Breeze MGM-15 – with the exact same packaging, exact same ingredients and exact same price tag, of $39.99 with a smudge on the 9."

After testing the substances in a lab, agents determined the products contained Schedule 1 controlled substances – MGM-15 and MGPI. Furthermore, Strang's and Hamilton's bank records show they both made purchases at Puffs on the same date, according to the court documents.

"There is also probable cause to believe these drugs caused two overdose deaths in Oxford, Mississippi. The Government proved that there was probable cause that the laboratory-tested drugs taken by the two overdose victims were the same type of drugs that were seized from the Moslehs during a court-authorized search warrant," the court documents read.

POLICE NEAR OLE MISS RESPOND TO SUSPECTED OVERDOSE, SAY 'NOT STUDENT-RELATED'

The court documents also note that Yahya made the sale of the products to a confidential informant after Strang's and Hamilton's deaths, even warning the informant that people had been dying from the product.

"As the purchase was being made, Yahya Mosleh even told the informant that people were dying from similar products and to be careful. He additionally attempted to conceal his sale when other third parties entered the store, only completing it to the informant when those parties had exited," the report read.

Yahya Mosleh will remain in custody pending trial after a federal judge found him to be "a flight risk with ties to another country," according to the court documents.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

Islam Mosleh will be released on a $20,000 unsecured bond with conditions that include a curfew and location monitoring, according to the documents.

The owner of Puffs was indicted by a state grand jury in Lafayette County, Mississippi, for distribution of a controlled substance years ago. However, he absconded and investigators believe he is now running the store remotely from Egypt, according to the documents.

Fox News Digital contacted the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi for comment.

Fox News Digital's Adam Sabes and Bradford Betz contributed to this report.

UCLA Bruins upset Oregon Ducks to stay unbeaten and change the Big Ten championship picture

A failed two-point conversion haunted the Ducks as the No. 21 Bruins held off a late comeback in Eugene

UCLA earned a massively important 17-15 win over Oregon on Saturday to remain perfect for the year and continue a push toward a Big Ten Championship appearance.

The No. 21 Bruins headed to Eugene to take on the No. 13 Ducks.

Oregon was without starting QB Dante Moore after he sustained a concussion against USC.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE OUTKICK SPORTS COVERAGE

That meant backup Dylan Raiola got things going under center.

UCLA put points on the board first with a first-quarter field goal, while Oregon answered back with a touchdown.

FIVE IMPORTANT COLLEGE FOOTBALL QUESTIONS THAT WILL BE ANSWERED AFTER THIS WEEKEND'S SLATE

However, their attempt at a 2-point conversion was no good, and it would come back to haunt them.

UCLA added a touchdown in the second quarter, and another in the fourth to go up 17-6, and that's when Oregon coach Dan Lanning decided to give Raiola — who was just 6/19 passing on the day for 43 yards and two interceptions — in favor of senior Brock Thomas.

However, the call to bring in the third-string signal caller proved to be a good one as Thomas led the Ducks downfield for a field goal with just over five minutes left in the game. He then hit wide receiver Evan Stewart in the end zone to make the game 17-15 with a little over two minutes left.

So... remember that failed 2-point conversion in the first quarter?

That meant that the best way to give themselves a chance at the win was to take another crack at two points, and, well...

The Ducks did wind up getting the ball back with an opportunity to take the lead, but the Bruins managed to put a stop to it for the win.

That's a massive, statement win for the Bruins, and a tough second loss for the Ducks.

This one is going to make some waves in the rankings, in the Big Ten standings, and the College Football Playoff picture.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

But for now, UCLA is clearly enjoying an important road win.

Keri Russell gets X-rated about early days with Matthew Rhys in candid sex confession

The 'Diplomat' star called marriage 'antiquated' and said sharing a child with Rhys means 'forever'

Keri Russell is getting candid about the early days in her relationship with her longtime partner.

During a recent appearance on the "Dear Chelsea" podcast, the 50-year-old actress discussed what it was like falling in love with her boyfriend, Matthew Rhys, while filming the early seasons of "The Americans."

"We were like falling in love and staying up all night and like having sex all the time and just like wearing disguises, like, I'm f---ing [in] crazy wigs and like wearing pearls," she said on the podcast. "When have you ever worn pearls and like, f---ing in trailers and f---ing everywhere. I mean, it was insanity. It was so fun and sneaky, and sexy, and so good."

Although the two had met briefly prior to working together, they reconnected in 2012 to film the first season of "The Americans" and their relationship became public in April 2014 after they first sparked dating rumors in late 2013.

Together they share their son Sam, who they welcomed in May 2016. Russell is also a mother to her two kids — River and Willa — from her previous marriage to Shane Deary.

While the couple have been together for over a decade, Russell told podcast host, Chelsea Handler, that she doesn't see the need to marry Rhys, noting, "I’ve had a big party. I get to dress up all the time."

"People used to have to be married to have a credit card. We can have credit cards now," Russell said. "I don’t need my last name to go away. I’m cool. If you wanna be here, be here. If you don’t, that’s cool too."

She added that since the two share a child, to her that means "forever" and that she finds marriage a bit "antiquated."

GET ENTERTAINMENT SCOOP DELIVERED RIGHT TO YOUR EMAIL BY CLICKING HERE

Russell is currently promoting the fourth season of her hit Netflix show, "The Diplomat," in which she portrays Kate Wyler, the U.S. ambassador to the United Kingdom who finds herself in the middle of conflicts between the two countries.

When it comes to the character, the "Felicity" actress told People, it is "fun to play someone so smart, so funny, so fierce," but who also "does stupid s--- all the time."

LIKE WHAT YOU'RE READING? "I mean, to lose in a drama as a character is good. To be constantly losing and messing things up, it’s great. But I also love that she can pull it together and be presentable and put a dress on if she needs to."

After Rhys recently neglected to thank Russell in his acceptance speeches at the Emmy Awards, where he won for his work on both "Widow's Bay" and "The Beast In Me," Handler suggested that when Russell eventually wins for her role in "The Diplomat," she thanks all her ex-boyfriends and leaves Rhys out.

PUT YOUR ENTERTAINMENT KNOWLEDGE TO THE TEST AND SEE HOW YOU SCORE

While many were concerned by Rhys' omission, Russell explained she told him he didn't have to thank her, as he told her he was most nervous about having to make the speech if he won.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

"I said, ‘Take me off your plate. There's so many people you have to thank. I don’t care if you want to thank the dog walker. You do whatever you want to do. That’s your minute. That’s your 45 seconds. So I just said, 'Take me off your plate.' And we kind of said to each other, 'We don’t have to thank each other.'"

Unranked Oklahoma knocks off No. 1 Texas in walk-off fashion after Arch Manning's rough 4th quarter

Manning threw two picks in the fourth, including pick 6, and Texas missed late field goal

The top-ranked Texas Longhorns had at least a couple chances to win their third-straight Red River Rivalry, but the top-ranked team in the country faltered on its biggest stage of the college season.

Instead, the unranked Oklahoma Sooners took advantage of a missed field goal in the final minutes and two fourth-quarter interceptions by Arch Manning to pull off a wild 27-24 upset victory in Dallas.

The Red River Rivalry looked like it would be all Texas early, as Arch Manning made one of his better plays, running to his left and throwing a 41-yard touchdown. Oklahoma matched it in the next quarter, but Texas was able to take a 17-7 lead at the half.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE OUTKICK SPORTS COVERAGE

However, the Longhorns offense stalled, and the Sooners offense picked up in the fourth quarter. Oklahoma was able to squeak out a field goal in the third, while both teams exchanged punts, but the Sooners opened up the fourth quarter with a game-tying touchdown run by Lloyd Avant, erasing their double-digit deficit.

Both teams exchanged punts yet again, but on Texas’ second drive of the fourth quarter, Manning overthrew a receiver, and it was picked off by Peyton Bowen and taken to the house for a 42-yard pick-6, giving Oklahoma a 24-17 lead with 10:07 to go.

TULSA'S DAVID WELLS JR. TIPS BALL TO HIMSELF FOR IMPROBABLE TOUCHDOWN IN WILD PLAY AGAINST NAVY

Manning was down, but not out, as he hit Cam Coleman on a 342-yard dime to snatch all momentum. Manning found Jermaine Bishop Jr. two plays later to tie the score with 6:32 remaining. Texas then forced a punt after four plays and were in the driver's seat.

The Longhorns quickly got on the other side of the field, but they had to settle for a 52-yard field goal try - however, it went wide-right, and it was Oklahoma ball with 1:54 to go at their own 35. After forcing an Oklahoma punt, Texas had a shot to end the game in walk-off fashion, but Manning threw yet another fourth-quarter interception, ending that threat.

SIGN UP FOR THE DAILY OUTKICK NEWSLETTER

Oklahoma got into field-goal range on back-to-back pass plays with nine seconds left, and Tate Sandell drilled a 47-yard field goal as time expired.

OUTKICK IS NOW AVAILABLE ON THE FOX NEWS APP: CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD

It was the first loss for the Longhorns on the season, automatically losing their first place spot in the SEC due to Alabama and Georgia, at 5-0 each, facing off later Saturday.

The Sooners are now 3-2 on the season, as they fight to sneak into the playoff.

A scammer has your name, phone number and address. What can they actually do?

Details may seem harmless on their own, but together they can help a scammer make the next call, text or email much more convincing

If you've ever wondered how much damage a scammer could really do with your name, phone number and home address, the answer is probably more than you'd expect.

Those three details are generally not enough by themselves to empty your bank account, take out a major loan or completely steal your identity. However, they can give a scammer a believable starting point. From there, the goal may be to trick you into revealing the more sensitive information they still need.

That is what makes seemingly basic personal information so useful to criminals. Here's what a scammer can actually do with those details, the warning signs to watch for and the steps you can take to make yourself a harder target.

Join us for a free CyberGuy LIVE class.

Kurt "CyberGuy" Knutsson shares practical ways to stay safer, smarter and more confident with technology. Explore classes on stopping spam, phone security, financial protection and using AI to get better health care . Each class is free, easy to follow and comes with a free printable checklist .

See the classes and register at CyberGuyLive.com

THE SECRET LIST THAT TELLS SCAMMERS YOU'RE AN EASY TARGET

Why basic personal information can help a scammer

Your name, phone number and address may already appear in public records, old directories, property records or data broker databases. As a result, people sometimes assume there is little risk if a stranger already knows them. The problem starts when those details are combined.

A scammer may add information from a data breach, social media account, people-search site or earlier phishing attempt. Suddenly, the person contacting you may know where you live, your phone number, the names of relatives or other details that make a fake story sound legitimate.

That is why a scam call can feel so convincing even when nobody has actually hacked your phone or bank account. Data brokers can also collect information such as current and previous addresses, phone numbers, approximate age and possible relatives. A scammer may use those details to learn more about you before making contact.

What can a scammer do with your name, phone number and address?

Here are some of the most common ways that information could be used.

Create a more convincing phishing or scam call

A scammer who knows your name and address can pretend to represent your bank, utility company, delivery service or government agency. For example, hearing someone read your correct home address may make the call seem legitimate. However, knowing personal information does not prove that the caller is really from the company they claim to represent.

Send targeted scams to your home

Once someone has your address, they can send fraudulent invoices, fake prize notices, counterfeit checks or other deceptive mail directly to you. Because the material arrives at your real address and may include your full name, it can look more credible than a random email or text.

Try to take over your phone number

Your phone number can also become part of a SIM-swap or account-takeover attempt. A phone number and address alone usually will not be enough to take control of your wireless account. Still, a criminal may combine those details with passwords, PINs or other information stolen elsewhere. If they successfully move your number to another SIM or device, they may then receive calls and text messages intended for you, including some verification codes.

Combine your information with data from another breach

This is where the risk can grow quickly. Perhaps one database exposes your phone number and address while another contains an old password or Social Security number. Criminals can combine pieces from multiple sources to create a much more complete profile. That information may then be used for identity theft, account takeovers or additional phishing attempts.

Impersonate you or someone you know

Personal details can also strengthen family-emergency scams. A criminal may know your relative's name, where you live or other information that helps support a fake story. With AI-generated voices making impersonation scams increasingly believable, personal details can make an already emotional call even harder to judge.

Test account-recovery systems

Some services still rely on personal details or knowledge-based questions during account recovery. A scammer may try information such as your address, phone number or other details to see whether they can get further into a password-reset or identity-verification process. They may still need additional information. However, every correct answer can move them one step closer.

What can't a scammer usually do with only these three details?

Knowing your name, phone number and address does not automatically give someone access to your bank account. Those details alone are also generally insufficient for opening major financial accounts or taking out loans because financial institutions typically require additional identity verification.

However, I would not treat that as a guarantee. The bigger concern is that a scammer can use the information they already have to convince you to provide what they are missing, such as a password, verification code, Social Security number, bank account information or credit card number. In other words, your basic information may be the beginning of the attack rather than the end.

HACKER CLAIMS 7.49M CUSTOMER RECORDS STOLEN FROM AMERICAN UTILITY COMPANY

How personal information makes a scam more believable

Suppose your phone rings and the caller immediately knows your full name and home address. Then they tell you there is suspicious activity on one of your accounts. That specificity can cause you to listen a little longer. Next, they may ask you to verify a code that just arrived by text, confirm an account number or transfer money to supposedly protect it. This is where I want you to be especially careful. A caller knowing something about you is not proof that the caller knows you. Personal information should never replace independent verification.

Warning signs that your information may be getting used

Watch for these warning signs:

Calls or texts that unexpectedly mention your full name, address or other personal details

Bills, prize notices, checks or other mail that you were not expecting

A sudden loss of cellular service that you cannot explain

Password-reset messages or verification codes you did not request

Family members receiving strange calls or messages from someone claiming to be you

New accounts, inquiries or activity you do not recognize on your credit reports or financial accounts

A noticeable increase in personalized phishing attempts after a company you use reports a data breach

One unusual call does not necessarily mean someone has stolen your identity. Still, several warning signs appearing together deserve attention.

7 steps to reduce what scammers can do with your information

A few precautions can make it much harder for someone to turn basic information into a successful scam.

1) See what information about you is already online

Search your name, phone number and address and see what comes up. You may find people-search sites and data brokers displaying information you would rather keep private. Where possible, submit opt-out requests to have those listings removed.

2) Protect your mobile account

Ask your wireless carrier what protections it offers against SIM swaps and unauthorized number transfers. Set a strong account PIN or password and enable any available port-out or number-transfer protection.

3) Stop using personal details as proof that a caller is legitimate

If an unexpected caller knows your address, bank name or another personal detail, do not assume that means the call is real. Hang up and contact the company directly using a phone number or app you already trust.

4) Use stronger account security

Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) for important accounts. When possible, I prefer an authenticator app, passkey or physical security key over text-message verification for especially sensitive accounts. That reduces the damage a successful SIM swap could cause.

5) Create a family verification word

Choose a private family verification word or phrase that family members can use if someone calls claiming there is an emergency. Do not post it online or use something a stranger could easily guess.

6) Don't help a suspicious caller complete your profile

Avoid confirming or correcting personal details during an unexpected call. If someone says, "You're still at 123 Main Street, correct?" you do not need to tell them your new address. End the call and verify the request independently.

7) Keep an eye on your credit and financial accounts

Review bank and credit card activity for transactions you do not recognize. You should also check your credit reports for unfamiliar accounts or inquiries. If you are concerned about identity theft, a credit freeze can make it harder for someone to open new credit accounts in your name. Credit freezes are free and can be placed with Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.

How identity theft protection can add another layer of security

Personal information tends to accumulate online over time. One breach may expose an email address while another exposes an old password. Meanwhile, data brokers may already have your address, phone number and information about your relatives.

An identity theft protection service can help you watch for signs that some of this information is being misused. Depending on the service and plan, that may include identity monitoring, credit monitoring, financial account alerts, data broker removal and help recovering from identity theft.

What identity theft protection can help with

Identity and financial monitoring: Some services can alert you to certain suspicious activity involving your identity, credit or financial accounts.

Data broker removal: Some plans include tools that can help remove your personal information from supported data broker and people-search sites.

Scam support: Certain services offer access to specialists who can help you evaluate suspicious messages, calls or websites.

Identity restoration: If identity theft occurs, some providers offer restoration specialists who can help guide you through the recovery process.

Loss coverage: Depending on the provider and plan, you may also get insurance or reimbursement for certain eligible identity theft expenses or losses. Coverage limits, exclusions and availability vary, so read the terms carefully.

No identity theft service can prevent scams or guarantee that your personal information will never circulate online. However, monitoring and alerts may help you spot suspicious activity sooner.

Even with strong security habits, identity theft can still happen. Your Social Security number, financial information or other personal data may already be exposed without you realizing it. If you are concerned, consider using an identity theft protection service as an added layer of monitoring and recovery support. See my tips and best picks on Best Identity Theft Protection at Cyberguy.com

It is also worth checking whether your email address or other personal information has appeared in a known data breach. Free breach-checking tools can help you identify exposed accounts so you can change affected passwords, turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) and take other steps to lock them down.

What to do if you think your information is already being misused

If you notice suspicious activity, act quickly. The first priority is to stop any potential damage and determine whether someone has gained access to your accounts.

End suspicious contact. Stop responding to unexpected calls, texts or emails. Contact the company directly using an official phone number, website or app.

Contact your mobile carrier. If your phone suddenly loses service or you suspect someone transferred your number, call your carrier immediately to secure your account.

Secure any affected accounts. Change compromised passwords, review recent sign-ins and contact your bank or credit card company if you notice unauthorized activity.

Warn your family. Let relatives know if someone may be impersonating you, especially if the scammer has mentioned family members or personal details.

Report identity theft. If someone has used your identity, visit IdentityTheft.gov for a personalized recovery plan.

Report scam attempts. File a report with the Federal Trade Commission at ReportFraud.ftc.gov , even if you did not lose money.

Most importantly, do not let someone pressure you into making a quick decision. Scammers rely on urgency to keep you from checking whether their story is real.

SCAMMERS ARE COMING FOR YOUR MONEY. HERE’S THE ONE THING YOU MUST NEVER DO

Kurt's key takeaways

Your name, phone number and address may not seem like highly sensitive information, especially when some of it can already be found online. Still, those details can give a scammer enough material to build a much more believable story. I would pay less attention to how much a caller knows about you and more attention to what they want you to do next. If they ask for money, a password, a verification code or another sensitive detail, end the conversation and verify the request yourself. You probably cannot erase every trace of your personal information from the internet. However, you can reduce what is exposed, lock down important accounts and make sure a stranger cannot use a few correct details to earn your trust.

How would you react if a caller knew your full name, phone number and home address? Would those details make you trust the call, or would they make you more suspicious?
President talks 'Trump Ocean,' trades jokes with Tennessee crowd as Kid Rock kicks off sprawling rally

Trump promotes manufacturing investments, Memphis crime crackdown and midterm stakes

President Donald Trump touted billions of dollars in manufacturing investments and his administration's efforts to combat crime in Tennessee on Saturday, while calling Iranian leaders "crazy" and floating the idea of a "Trump Ocean" during a wide-ranging rally featuring musician Kid Rock.

The president appeared in Clarksville ahead of the Nov. 3 midterm elections, campaigning for Republican Sen. Bill Hagerty and gubernatorial candidate Marsha Blackburn while mixing economic talking points, foreign policy and off-script humor.

Kid Rock opened the event with a religious-themed introduction, praising Trump's leadership while taking aim at the news media.

TRUMP TOUTS ‘GOLDEN AGE’ AT OHIO RALLY, URGES VOTERS TO DELIVER GOP MIDTERM WINS

"Literally, President Trump could walk across the Cumberland River, and tomorrow the headline would say President Trump refuses to swim," the musician joked.

The rocker also condemned Islamist extremism and defended religious freedom, arguing that Americans should not be forced to live under religious laws that override the Constitution.

"We are not, and we will never be, one nation under Mohammed, because we are, and we always will be, one nation under God," Kid Rock told the crowd.

Trump later thanked his longtime supporter and friend by his given name, Bob, before turning to an array of domestic and international issues.

The president addressed tensions with Iran, calling the country's leaders "crazy" while claiming that Tehran's rhetoric had softened following U.S. military operations.

AFTER 'LAKE AMERICA,' TRUMP SUGGESTS A NEW NAME FOR THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO

"They don't talk that way anymore, by the way," Trump said after recounting previous threats from Iranian leaders.

Trump described what he characterized as extensive damage to Iran's military capabilities, claiming 159 ships had been sunk and its air force and air-defense systems destroyed.

"They have no Navy. They have no Air force, they have no anti-aircraft equipment," Trump said.

The president then pivoted from the Strait of Hormuz to an unexpected geography lesson, suggesting it could one day be called the "Trump Strait."

He also revisited his decision to rename the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America before floating additional changes to the map.

"We need a river. We need an ocean," Trump said, suggesting the Atlantic or Pacific could become the "Trump Ocean" or "Ocean of the Americas."

TRUMP RALLIES NEW YORK CROWD FOR REPUBLICAN BRUCE BLAKEMAN'S BID TO REPLACE GOV KATHY HOCHUL

"Before I get out, I think we should have an ocean," he added, without yet announcing any formal renaming plans.

On the economy, Trump promoted Korea Zinc's planned investment of more than $6 billion in Tennessee, a project expected to create 740 jobs across Montgomery and Smith counties.

Tennessee officials announced the $6.6 billion project in December, describing it as the largest single private corporate investment in state history. The plans include a new critical-minerals smelter in Clarksville and the reopening of a former mine in Gordonsville.

"And your state will soon be home to the first new mineral smelter in the United States, first one built since 1979," Trump said.

The project is intended to strengthen domestic supplies of minerals used in semiconductors, defense technology and advanced manufacturing.

TRUMP NAMES LEAVITT SUCCESSOR AFTER WEEKS OF SPECULATION — AND SHE'S NO STRANGER TO MAGA

Trump also cited General Motors' previously announced $275 million investment in its Spring Hill manufacturing facility to support production of next-generation turbocharged Cadillac engines.

The president credited his tariff policies with encouraging domestic investment, arguing that companies were expanding American manufacturing to avoid import duties.

In a Tennessee-focused fact sheet released as the rally began, the White House asserted that Republican-backed tax policies had preserved $23 billion in economic activity in the state. The administration also cited an average $3,674 tax refund for Tennesseans in 2026.

Public safety was another focal point of his address, with Trump praising federal law-enforcement operations in Memphis and claiming approximately 12,000 dangerous criminals had been removed.

The White House separately asserted that murders and overall crime in Memphis had declined approximately 36%, crediting the Memphis Safe Task Force.

The president also shared some lighter moments about first lady Melania Trump, describing her objections to his theatrical impersonations of athletes during discussions about transgender participation in women's sports.

"She said it's not presidential," Trump recalled, before joking about her film career. "There is only room for one star in a family, so I don't need this movie stuff. I don't need it."

Trump, who carried Tennessee in all three of his presidential campaigns, said the visit was also an opportunity to thank supporters in a state where he had enjoyed strong electoral backing.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

"Sometimes it's nice to go to a place where you don't have to be, but you're there to say thank you to the great people that elected you three separate times in record time," Trump said.

Trump repeatedly returned to the November elections, urging supporters to back Republican candidates even though his name will not appear on the ballot.

"In this election, I'm asking you to do me a favor. Pretend. Just pretend that I'm running," Trump said.

Philadelphia police officer killed, partner shot 12 times in ambush; suspect found hiding in tree

Fallen officer identified as Shane Seiber, father of 2

A Philadelphia police officer died Saturday after he and his partner were ambushed and shot multiple times while responding to a report of an armed man in the western part of the city.

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner identified the suspect as 35-year-old Eric Lewis, who has a criminal record dating back to 2012, according to Pennsylvania court records reviewed by Fox News Digital.

A municipal labor union also identified Lewis as an employee of the Philadelphia Water Department.

Krasner outlined a series of charges stemming from the shooting, including attempted murder, attempted homicide of a law enforcement officer, aggravated assault and gun offenses. Prosecutors identified at least 11 potential victims, including the two officers who were shot and nine additional people who were fired upon.

CONNECTICUT POLICE OFFICERS SHOT, SUSPECT KILLED AFTER ATTEMPTED ARREST SPARKS HECTIC CHASE

Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel identified the officer who died as Shane Seiber, a 40-year-old father who spent 10 years on the force.

He leaves behind his wife and his two children, a 7-year-old son and a 3-year-old daughter.

"He fought valiantly, but he lost his life today," Bethel said at a morning news conference. "His wife was able to be by his side before he passed, as well as his family."

Lewis was found guilty of theft and receiving stolen property in 2012 and gun-related offenses and simple assault in 2013, receiving probation in both cases, according to court records. In 2018, Lewis pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct involving fighting and was again sentenced to probation.

Court records also show Lewis was cited for three traffic violations in 2024, including driving without headlights, failing to provide proof of insurance and windshield-related violations.

District Council 33, a labor union representing Philadelphia municipal workers, identified Lewis as one of its members and an employee of the Philadelphia Water Department in a Facebook statement addressing the shooting.

The union condemned the violence, expressed condolences to Seiber's family and wished the surviving officer a full recovery. District Council 33 also said it would cooperate with authorities as the case proceeds.

During a news conference, Mayor Cherelle Parker said Seiber "paid the ultimate price while sacrificing his own life to protect and serve our city."

Parker also announced plans to seek legislation expanding Pennsylvania's involuntary commitment laws to cover substance use disorders and other mental or behavioral health conditions. She said she would work with Gov. Josh Shapiro, the state legislature and Attorney General Dave Sunday on the proposal.

CHICAGO OFFICERS WOUNDED IN TRAFFIC STOP SHOOTOUT AS HOLIDAY WEEKEND LEAVES 3 DEAD, 16 INJURED

Krasner said investigators had not determined whether mental health or substance use played a role in the shooting. Krasner also declined to discuss the suspect's motive, citing the ongoing investigation and sensitivity toward the victims' families.

The mayor also referenced the deaths of nine people in Erie, Pennsylvania, saying the tragedy underscored the need to revisit existing laws. Parker acknowledged that investigators had not determined whether mental health or substance use played a role in the Erie deaths.

Parker separately ordered city flags to remain at half-staff until sunset on the day of Seiber's interment.

Gov. Shapiro said in a social media post that he and his wife were praying for Seiber's loved ones and the Philadelphia Police Department. He also ordered all U.S. and state flags to be flown at half-staff.

Sen. Dave McCormick, R-Pa., also mourned Seiber's death, offering prayers for his family, the Philadelphia Police Department and the wounded officer. McCormick said Philadelphia had lost a hero whose sacrifice would not be forgotten.

Rep. Mike Kelly, R-Pa., separately offered prayers for the Erie community and the families affected by Friday night's tragedy.

The other officer, a 33-year-old father of five children, was shot 12 times and was initially in critical condition. After going into surgery, Bethel said, he is now in stable condition but is "not out of the woods yet."

Just after 12:20 a.m., the officers responded to a report of a man with a gun on a porch, Bethel said.

About 30 minutes later, the officers arrived at the address and came under "significant gunfire" once they were on the porch.

Shortly after shots were fired, Bethel said, additional officers and a SWAT team found the original responding officers on the porch with gunshot wounds.

After running away, the suspect fired at two additional officers, Bethel said.

Krasner outlined nine additional counts of attempted murder and attempted homicide of a law enforcement officer involving the nine other people who were fired upon.

A SWAT team was able to locate the suspect in a tree and take him into custody.

Krasner said Lewis remained in custody without serious injuries and was expected to appear for a preliminary arraignment and bail hearing.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

Lewis was found with two handguns and a shotgun, Bethel said. One of the handguns belonged to one of the officers who had been shot.

5 forgotten ice cream flavors from the ’70s that fans are begging to be brought back

Nostalgic favorites including pink bubblegum, heavenly hash and maple walnut were staples but have faded from freezer aisles

While today's freezers are packed with ice cream flavors such as cookies and cream, salted caramel and mint chocolate chip, some old-time favorites seem to have melted away.

Flavors including Butter Brickle, rum raisin and maple walnut were once familiar options at ice cream counters and grocery stores, but many have become harder to find as tastes have changed.

The food site Tasting Table recently looked back at a variety of nostalgic flavors that defined childhoods for many Americans. Here are five that might bring back some sweet memories.

NATIONAL ROOT BEER FLOAT DAY CELEBRATES AMERICAN CLASSIC THAT YOUNGER GENERATIONS ARE LEAVING BEHIND

Butter Brickle

Butter Brickle ice cream was inspired by a butterscotch-flavored candy created in Omaha, Nebraska, in the 1920s, according to Tasting Table. Featuring a butterscotch flavor with crunchy toffee pieces, the ice cream had become a national favorite by the 1970s but is harder to find today.

In a Facebook group dedicated to memories of the 1970s, the flavor came up repeatedly as fans reminisced about its signature bits of crunchy toffee.

YOUR FAVORITE GROCERY AND SNACK ITEMS MAY HAVE DISAPPEARED FROM STORE SHELVES IN 2026

Rum Raisin

Rum raisin ice cream dates back to the 1930s but surged in popularity in the 1970s, when the rum-soaked raisins and vanilla ice cream combo became widely available in shops and grocery stores. The flavor even made it to the White House, where President Richard Nixon reportedly served it for dessert.

Though it can still be found today, rum raisin has become harder to spot in many parts of the country. "I miss it so much! It’s my favorite ice cream flavor," one Reddit user wrote in a subreddit dedicated to ice cream.

CENTURY-OLD ITALIAN ICE RECIPE IS CREATING CHILDHOOD MEMORIES FOR A WHOLE NEW GENERATION

Pink Bubblegum

Baskin-Robbins introduced its bright Pink Bubblegum ice cream in the 1970s, complete with small pieces of chewy bubblegum mixed into each scoop, Tasting Table reported. The unusual flavor became a childhood favorite for some and has occasionally been brought back by Baskin-Robbins for limited runs.

TEST YOURSELF WITH OUR LATEST LIFESTYLE QUIZ

"It was my favorite. I would eat the ice cream and save the bubblegum for later," one Reddit user recalled.

Heavenly Hash

Before it became an ice cream flavor, heavenly hash referred to another nostalgic oddity: a fruit salad made with ingredients such as whipped cream, marshmallows, candied fruit and nuts. Sealtest introduced its Heavenly Hash ice cream in 1969, combining marshmallows, almonds and chocolate chips for a treat similar to the Rocky Road we know today.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE LIFESTYLE NEWS

The flavor later disappeared along with Sealtest's ice cream line, but some fans still remember it fondly. "Now that was a great ice cream!" one Facebook user wrote.

Maple Walnut

CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR OUR LIFESTYLE NEWSLETTER

Maple ice cream has deep roots in the Northeast, appearing in some 19th-century cookbooks, and the addition of walnuts eventually made it a New England staple. Maple walnut, also known as maplenut, was much easier to find in the 1970s but has since faded from many ice cream aisles and shops.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

"My grandmother loved the Maple Walnut flavor. I don't think I've seen it since I was a kid," one Reddit user recalled.

'Happy Days' star Anson Williams says he had to create a second career because sitcom pay wasn't enough

The actor earned $900 to $1,200 per episode and says performing at fairs for 10 years was better monetarily

When playing Potsie Weber on "Happy Days" didn't pay well enough, actor Anson Williams came up with a side hustle: a music career.

In a recent interview on the "Still Here Hollywood Podcast," the 77-year-old actor revealed the singing sideline was simply a matter of 1970s economics.

"On 'Happy Days' we didn't have the same salaries they have today. Not even close," he said. "Nine hundred dollars an episode, $1,200 an episode. It was fine back then, but...it's not a lifetime of earnings there."

Williams said that after speaking to "Partridge Family" star David Cassidy and Barry Williams, of "The Brady Bunch," about how much money they were making by taking their singing acts off the show, he thought to himself, "Wait a minute. I sing. If I can convince Garry to put a band on the show, maybe I can get booked, and maybe I can get some extra income."

‘BRADY BUNCH’ CAST MADE NEARLY NOTHING FROM DECADES OF RERUNS, EVE PLUMB CLAIMS

After speaking with the show's creator, Garry Marshall, about the possibility of putting together a band to perform at Arnold's, the burger joint where Fonzie held court, the legendary director gave him a chance. Marshall told him he would have to pick a song and sing it to a bulldog, telling him, "If you're good, I get laughs. If you're bad, I get laughs. You're going to sing the bulldog."

"So I do it and then the letters start coming in, and he goes 'The people like it. The people like it.' He goes, 'We'll do more. You're in charge of it though,'" Williams recalled. "Then I got a major agent for that and started getting booked at state fairs for 10 years."

Williams added that his idea to sing on the show "started this whole career" that ended up being better for him monetarily, and was "just a whole other life experience."

After finding success as a musician as well as an actor, Williams said that Marshall approached him to express how proud he was of the actor, telling him, "You found an opportunity, and you're helping the show."

GET ENTERTAINMENT SCOOP DELIVERED RIGHT TO YOUR EMAIL BY CLICKING HERE

During an interview with Fox News Digital in March 2024, Williams revealed that while the show started as a hit with audiences, landing in the top 15 or 20, it slid down to 48th place at one point and was "on the verge of getting canceled."

"And Garry Marshall and Jerry Paris, our director, thought, ‘What if we changed the whole tone? What if we make it a live audience sitcom?’" Williams recalled. "So, half the season, one camera. The next season, one camera. The next season — two and a half in — they switch it to live audience. And the chemistry of the cast, the writing, was magic. That's the year we went to No. 1 in the world. That's when we exploded."

When the show became a huge success, Williams recalled Marshall advising him and his young co-stars to use their platforms for good, telling them to take the spotlight they found themselves in and "shine it on people that deserve it."

Following his time on "Happy Days," Williams pivoted to working more as a writer and director. He directed episodes of "Beverly Hills, 90210," "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," "Lizzie McGuire," "Charmed," "The Secret Life of an American Teenager" and more.

LIKE WHAT YOU'RE READING?
Hot mic catches ESPN announcer comparing North Carolina QB to a lousy hotel breakfast

The play-by-play announcer didn't realize his mic was live during UNC's 21-17 upset win over undefeated Pitt

An ESPN play-by-play announcer was caught on a hot mic making one of the greatest comparisons in broadcast history to describe UNC quarterback Billy Edwards Jr.

The Tar Heels came into the weekend at 2-2 after getting off to a solid 2-0 start and had a tough test against undefeated Pitt.

A big piece of the puzzle for them was going to be Edwards' play under center, which has been up and down this season.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE OUTKICK SPORTS COVERAGE

While the game ultimately went UNC and Edwards' way with a big 21-17 upset win, the QB's play didn't seem to be wowing announcer Tom Hart at one point.

Without realizing his mic was hot, Hart could be heard making a very funny comment to analyst Roddy Jones.

JALEN HURTS CURSES AT RECEIVER IN VIRAL HOT-MIC MOMENT DURING EAGLES' COLLAPSE AGAINST RAMS

"Our hotel breakfast was the Billy Edwards Jr. of hotel breakfasts," Hart said.

Now, some people are going to think that's harsh, but those people haven't had the start of their day soured by a lackluster showing from a complimentary hotel breakfast buffet.

I mean, you're not expecting a brunch at the Four Seasons, but some of those perfectly folded pre-made omelettes, some biscuits, and a waffle iron in decent working order are all you want.

That's not a big ask. Diners across the nation execute this every day.

And yet, that low bar isn't even achieved on a shockingly frequent basis.

You end up rolling out of bed and heading down to the lobby only to be greeted with a sad stack of off-brand granola bars and a bagel that you're 90% sure you saw hanging out in the breakfast area the day before.

So yes, I can understand the urge to flame a college football player after experiencing a letdown like that.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

I know I would... although I would double-check that the mic wasn't hot.

Tulsa's David Wells Jr. tips ball to himself for improbable touchdown in wild play against Navy

Oran Singleton Jr. escaped a tackle and threw a floating prayer into coverage before Wells rescued the play

Saturday's college football slate is headlined by two SEC matchups that are some of the best rivalries in the sport - but that doesn't mean there aren't eyebrow-raising plays elsewhere.

Tulsa visited Navy on Saturday, and the Golden Hurricane scored a touchdown that nobody could have drawn up.

With just under two minutes to play in the first quarter, the game was tied at seven when Tulsa was at the opposing 10-yard line.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE OUTKICK SPORTS COVERAGE

Quarterback Baylor Hayes tossed a backwards pass to wide receiver Oran Singleton Jr., who was stuffed roughly seven yards behind the line of scrimmage.

However, he managed to escape a tackle and throw a floating prayer into coverage. But one of his fellow pass-catchers made an improbable rescue.

David Wells Jr. (not related to the former pitcher) tipped the ball backward to himself outside of the end zone, caught it, and then scampered back in for the score.

That wasn't the only action Singleton got - he would catch a touchdown of his own later on to give Tulsa a 26-14 lead early in the second half.

It has not been a pleasant season for the Midshipmen, who were nationally ranked and won the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy by defeating both Air Force and Army last year. Navy also won the Liberty Bowl to complete an 11-2 season.

SIGN UP FOR THE DAILY OUTKICK NEWSLETTER

But entering Saturday, they already had more losses than they did all of last season.

OUTKICK IS NOW AVAILABLE ON THE FOX NEWS APP: CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD

Meanwhile, Tulsa has begun the season 3-2 after a disappointing 4-8 campaign last year.

ESPN College Gameday 'no religious signs' rule draws backlash during Alabama vs Georgia broadcast

The disclaimer was displayed at Coleman Coliseum after a hurricane forced the show indoors on Alabama's campus

Alabama vs Georgia is the biggest game Saturday. Before the hurricane became a factor, President Trump was planning on making an appearance. The weather also caused ESPN's "College Gameday" to record their show indoors at Coleman Coliseum on the campus of Alabama. That made for a far less raucous and smaller crowd. One thing that caught football fans eyes online was a photo shared by Daily Wire reporter Brecca Stoll, which showcased a disclaimer about what signs were allowed in "The Pit" during filming.

THE STORM IS HERE: GEORGIA-ALABAMA SET TO WRITE LATEST CHAPTER AFTER CHAOTIC WEEK AROUND HURRICANE ISAIAS

The disclaimer on the video board over center court said below "Pit Rules":

No Food or Drink

No Vulgar Signs

No .com, QR Codes, or # Signs

No Political Signs

No Religious Signs

The "No Religious Signs" rules is what caught the eyes of hundreds of thousands online.

WISCONSIN STUDENT ALLEGES SCHOOL BARRED HER FROM USING BIBLE VERSE AT GRADUATION

If you've watched "College Gameday" this season, or throughout your life, you'd know that there have been countless Christian signs on display almost every episode of Gameday. They are usually some of the biggest signs on the broadcast.

One X user said, "I see a spiritual battle here. The rule applies to every religion, so I’m not going to pretend Christians alone were singled out. But I also reject the idea that faith should be pushed out of public life and kept invisible."

PAT MCAFEE’S PRO-MILITARY COMMENTS ON ‘COLLEGE GAMEDAY’ IGNITE ONLINE BACKLASH FROM THE LEFT

Another said, "Terrible look for @CollegeGameDay in Tuscaloosa. A rapid explanation is in order lest everyone’s assumptions about @Disney take root."

An ESPN spokesperson said that the rule of "No Religious Signs" has been in place for a while.

A LIST OF THE BEST COLLEGE GAMEDAY SIGNS AT LSU DURING SHOW'S 500TH EPISODE

The network reportedly doesn't enforce these rules outside "The Pit," which may be the reason the signs featuring Bible verses, and other Christian phrases, are not prohibited, but after looking over past broadcasts, it sure seems like those signs have indeed been allowed in "The Pit."

For example, while at LSU, a large "Seek Jesus" sign, as well a "Find Hope in Jesus" sign can be seen in the background in the crowd alongside other signs.

A "Seek Jesus" sign can be seen during the broadcast of College Gameday while at the University of Tennessee.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

I wouldn't go as far as calling this religious persecution, but it does seem like a blatant lack of consistency in enforcement, because there are also plenty of fans that share their Venmo usernames for "beer money," and more signs allowed by ESPN that are against the "Pit Rules."

Veteran walked across four continents and just swam the English Channel to return home

The British Army veteran and former paratrooper set out from Chile in 1998 and has crossed more than 30,000 miles on foot

A British Army veteran has returned to his home country after a 28-year journey across four continents — but his trek isn't quite over.

Karl Bushby, a 57-year-old former paratrooper, reached England this week after swimming across the English Channel from France, marking the latest milestone in an around-the-world expedition that he embarked on in 1998.

Now, he has roughly 250 miles left to walk before reuniting with his mother, whom he hasn't seen in 11 years.

DIVERS BRAVE DEADLY 'MOUNT EVEREST OF SHIPWRECKS' AS FAMED WRECK BREAKS APART

Bushby spent about 20 hours swimming in the English Channel over three days before reaching Shakespeare Beach near Dover on Oct. 5, according to the BBC.

"Getting in the water that first day, I thought, 'Have I taken too much of a bite here?'" Bushby told the outlet. "But you dig deep. Keep on keeping on. You find a rhythm."

Bushby hadn't even trained for the last leg of the trip and after about an hour in the water, he was cramping and doubting whether he could finish, he told the BBC.

CLIMBER STRANDED ON 6-INCH LEDGE AT 11,000 FEET AS 46 MPH WINDS GROUND RESCUE HELICOPTER

But the Channel crossing was just the latest obstacle in an expedition spanning more than 30,000 miles and 29 countries.

Bushby set out from Chile on Nov. 1, 1998, and set two rules for himself: He would not use transportation including planes, trains, boats or cars to advance his expedition route and he would not return home to Hull until he had finished it.

His route took him the length of South America, through North America and across the Bering Strait between Alaska and Russia.

CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR OUR LIFESTYLE NEWSLETTER

Along the way, he trekked through the Darién Gap between Panama and Colombia and, in 2006, crossed the frozen Bering Strait on foot and over ice with Dimitri Kieffer, a French-American adventurer.

More recently, Bushby swam about 184 miles across the Caspian Sea before continuing west toward Europe.

His expedition faced delays related to visa restrictions, the loss of sponsors during the 2008 financial crisis, COVID-19 lockdowns and geopolitical turmoil, according to reports.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE LIFESTYLE NEWS

Bushby began his expedition with just $500 and no sponsors, relying over the years on book sales, speaking engagements, donations and corporate sponsorships to keep going. A documentary production company also provided support for the past 16 years, according to reports.

When Bushby finally reached France, he was hoping to cross into England on foot through the Channel Tunnel's service tunnel, which connects both countries, but his request was rejected over safety and maintenance concerns, according to the BBC, leaving him to swim the English Channel instead.

TEST YOURSELF WITH OUR LATEST LIFESTYLE QUIZ

Bushby said floating on his back at night and looking at the stars offered a distraction from the physical pain he was in during the swim.

"You're far away from light pollution and have the whole night sky in front of you," he said. "It gave me something to think about and took my mind off the pain and aches. It was amazing."

The last leg of the journey will bring him to his mother, who he hasn't seen since 2015, in the port city of Hull, The Times of London reported. He is expected to arrive in early November.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

"I walked away from that place 28 years ago and that is where we are going to wrap it up," he told the outlet. "That’s about 400 kilometers from here, so I’ve got to get busy."

Nine people killed in Pennsylvania shooting; suspected gunman found dead: report

Police chief called shooting the 'most heartbreaking' he had ever encountered

Authorities confirmed nine people are dead after a shooting in Pennsylvania Friday night, including the suspected gunman, who reportedly died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Two young children and a woman who was eight months pregnant were among the eight victims killed, Erie Police Chief Rick Lorah revealed during a news conference Saturday.

The suspected shooter, a 45-year-old man, was also found dead.

Eight of the nine deceased, including the suspected shooter, were related, while the remaining victim was a family friend, Lorah said.

POLICE REVEAL NEW DETAILS ABOUT GUNMAN, 5 VICTIMS KILLED IN RURAL MICHIGAN SHOOTING RAMPAGE

Lorah said the ShotSpotter alert was triggered at approximately 4:53 p.m. by two gunshots in the 700 block of Perry Street. Officers arrived approximately three minutes later and discovered two women, ages 51 and 37, dead outside the residence.

Investigators reviewing Ring doorbell footage from a neighboring home determined that the two women appeared distressed as they sought help from neighbors and pounded on a door. The recording captured what investigators believe were muffled gunshots inside the residence before the suspect emerged and fatally shot both women, Lorah said.

One of the women was a family friend, while the other was a sister-in-law of one of the victims, according to Lorah. Neither woman lived at the home.

Lorah clarified Saturday that sounds some witnesses may have mistaken for additional gunfire during the police response came from flash-bang devices and chemical munitions deployed by SWAT officers.

"I want to be candid with our community. This is one of the most difficult and heartbreaking scenes our officers and investigators have ever encountered. The loss of life is devastating, and the circumstances we are working through are deeply disturbing," Lorah said, according to FOX8.

During Saturday's update, Lorah said officers discovered a 5-year-old boy and a 1-year, 10-month-old girl on the first floor of the home. Four additional victims — a 24-year-old woman, a 44-year-old woman, a 19-year-old man and a 21-year-old man — were found on the second floor and in a stairwell.

The suspected gunman was found dead on the second floor from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, with a .40-caliber handgun recovered on his person. Lorah said the gun was registered to the suspect.

Investigators believe all eight victims were killed, and the gunman died before officers arrived, Lorah said. All the victims found inside the residence lived there.

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro issued a statement confirming the number killed during the incident while offering support to victims' families.

"I’ve spoken with Mayor Devlin and offered my Administration’s full support following the tragic mass shooting in Erie last night — killing nine of our fellow Pennsylvanians," Shapiro wrote in a post on X Saturday morning.

"My heart breaks for this family. Lori and I are praying for their loved ones and the entire Erie community."

"It's a horrific scene," Lorah told the station. "There was a large loss of life inside that residence and outside that residence. … I can tell you that this is a tragic, tragic situation."

Lorah defended the police response Saturday, explaining that officers initially had no way of knowing whether the suspect remained inside, had escaped or was holding anyone hostage.

He said officers heard no gunfire, screams or other signs of life coming from the residence. Police deployed drones and a robot to assess the interior before entering the home.

Lorah emphasized that obtaining a search warrant did not delay officers from entering the residence and that they would have gone inside immediately if they had detected signs someone was in imminent danger.

MULTIPLE PEOPLE KILLED IN SHOOTING AT IDAHO IN-N-OUT RESTAURANT, SUSPECT DEAD

The city of Erie issued a statement about the shooting, saying the incident resulted in "multiple deaths" and confirming that there was no ongoing threat to the public.

"We understand that this news brings deep shock and sorrow to our residents, and we want to assure the public that the situation has been contained," the city said.

"Our thoughts are with the victims, their loved ones and everyone impacted by tonight's tragedy," the statement continued. "We will continue working closely with our Erie Police Dept, and will provide updates as soon as verified information becomes available."

Erie Mayor Daria Devlin said Saturday the city is coordinating with crisis services, healthcare providers and schools to provide trauma support to families, students and residents affected by the shooting.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FOX NEWS APP

The department's Criminal Investigations Division continues to investigate the shooting.
