New Trump UFO file dump includes military footage of mysterious star-shaped object

The Trump administration on Friday released its fourth tranche of declassified unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) records, including newly released military infrared videos and additional details about a 2015 unidentified object reported near the nation's primary nuclear weapons assembly facility.

Officials said the latest release is part of the administration's effort to expand public access to UAP records while protecting information that could reveal sensitive military capabilities, eyewitness identities or national security operations.

Among the newly released files is an 18-second infrared video submitted by U.S. Indo-Pacific Command in 2025 showing an object officials described as resembling a six-pointed star.

The footage, captured by an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform over the Yellow Sea, shows the sensor tracking what the government described as an "area of contrast" while cautioning that the video's description should not be interpreted as an official conclusion about the object's identity or significance.

The latest release also includes a newly declassified Department of Energy report detailing a 2015 incident involving an unidentified object over the Pantex Plant near Amarillo, Texas, the nation's primary facility for assembling, maintaining and dismantling nuclear weapons. Portions of the report had previously been released in a more heavily redacted form, but Friday's tranche includes additional details and imagery.

The release also includes a 1-minute, 46-second infrared video submitted by U.S. Indo-Pacific Command in 2024 that shows a military sensor tracking an elongated area of contrast. As the sensor zooms in, the object appears as a line of several points moving across the field of view before becoming less distinct as it recedes into the distance. Officials cautioned that the video's description should not be interpreted as an official conclusion about the object's identity or significance.

Another newly released Navy "Range Fouler Debrief" — a standardized report used to document unauthorized intrusions into military training airspace — describes a military operator observing a "quite small" object with a metallic appearance and reflective underside that continued traveling in a constant direction. The report cautions that the descriptions reflect the observer's impressions at the time and are not definitive assessments of the object's characteristics.

The release also features additional infrared videos submitted by U.S. Central Command, the Air Force and Indo-Pacific Command. One 2024 video shows what appears to be an elongated area of contrast that later resembles a line of multiple bright points as the military sensor tracks it. Another 2023 video captures two areas of contrast crossing the sensor's field of view in opposite directions.

In at least one case, AARO included technical context alongside the footage, noting that apparent flickering in a 2019 Air Force infrared video could result from the sensor's automatic contrast adjustments when tracking an object whose temperature closely matched its background.

Congress established AARO in 2022 to investigate reports of unidentified objects across air, sea, space and other domains, with a focus on determining whether incidents could pose flight safety or national security risks. The office is tasked with assessing whether sightings can be attributed to foreign adversaries, classified U.S. programs or conventional explanations before labeling them unresolved.

The latest release is the fourth tranche in a series that is part of President Donald Trump's directive to expand public access to UAP records, adding that redactions were limited to protecting eyewitness identities, sensitive military locations and unrelated government facilities.

Stacey Dales provides much-needed logic to ESPN's Caitlin Clark coverage, dismantles race-baiter on set

On Thursday, we explained how ESPN has failed to represent more than one side of the Caitlin Clark discourse, acting as if its coverage is indicative of the consensus opinion. Since Clark's debut in the WNBA in 2024, ESPN has often prioritized discussions about identity politics over the product on the court.

That was evident when the network chose David Dennis Jr. to fill in for Stephen A. Smith this week on "First Take." Dennis claimed with a straight face that Clark isn't even "one of" the top guards in the WNBA and that players punching her in the throat are simply playing basketball.

For background, ESPN hired Dennis in 2021, marketing him in part as the son of a civil rights activist. As an ESPN employee, his greatest hits include calling Sydney Sweeney's American Eagle ad "mortifying" and a form of "eugenics." He argued that White people have a "moral obligation" to defend Black people, even when Black people wrong them. He also wrote a hit piece the day Hulk Hogan died, urging Americans to remember him "only as a racist." He, of course, offered no such moral accounting when writing about Kobe Bryant's legacy.

ESPN'S COVERAGE OF CAITLIN CLARK IS A RACIALLY CHARGED, DISHONEST, AND EMBARRASSING MESS | BOBBY BURACK

As revealing as it is that ESPN employs someone like Dennis, it's just as telling that the network has rarely offered viewers an informed counterweight when discussing Clark.

To its credit, the network finally did on Friday.

Stacey Dales, a former WNBA All-Star and current NFL Network reporter, joined "First Take" to debate Dennis. Put simply, she offered a notable upgrade in intelligence.

"It is insulting. It is preposterous. ... Caitlin Clark is exceptional," Dales said after WNBA players voted Clark 11th among guards for the All-Star Game, a result Dennis defended.

As Dales walked through Clark's statistics and on-court impact, a visibly flustered Dennis interrupted.

"But her turnovers!"

Dales acknowledged the point before explaining that Clark's turnover totals are largely a function of how often the ball is in her hands. For comparison, Nikola Jokic, who is widely regarded as the NBA's best player, finished third in turnovers last season. Luka Doncic finished first.

No logical person would argue that Jokic and Doncic aren't among the best players at their positions. Then again, many ESPN's regulars seem to struggle with giving White players their due. So maybe they would.

Once Dales addressed the turnover argument, Dennis pivoted to "wins." He claimed that because the Fever are 4-0 without Clark, her standing among the league's top guards is diminished. Dales was ready to respond before the host cut her off and ended the segment.

Frankly, we don't blame the producers. Their fill-in analyst had already been exposed enough.

Notice not just Dales' command of the subject, but how she covered Caitlin Clark. She made her points by discussing — wait for it — basketball.

Not once did Dales mention Clark's race or sexuality, or anyone else's. She didn't accuse fans of racism or lecture viewers about identity. She simply stuck to basketball. It worked.

We have no idea what Dales' politics are, whether she finds attractive White women "mortifying," or where she ranks various groups on the hierarchy of victimhood. Nor do we need to. We know she understands basketball.

"A counterbalance has arrived!" sports media reporter Ryan Glasspiegel observed while watching Dales' appearance on First Take.

"As a former WNBA All-Star and First-Team All-American, Dales is somebody who has the credibility to be a counterbalance to people who downplay Clark's performance," Glasspiegel told OutKick. "It is also immediately clear from her commentary that she has kept up with watching the games."

Indeed.

It's fair to wonder if many of ESPN's WNBA commentators actually watch the games. That's how little substance some of their analysis contains.

Just as importantly, Dales has the credibility that when she does criticize Clark, viewers understand it's rooted in an analysis of sports.

Analysts like Dennis, Chiney Ogwumike, and Monica McNutt have lost much of that credibility because their arguments about Clark have become so personal and so illogical.

McNutt has argued that Clark is popular only because she is White. Ogwumike claimed Clark wasn't really punched in the throat, saying the "freeze frame" merely made it look that way — as if none of us had access to the video of the play.

The larger point is that ESPN could use four or five more Stacey Daleses across its programming to drown out the racial idolatry that has infected too much of the network's coverage.

With ESPN's acquisition of NFL Network, it now has that opportunity. Along with Dales, the network can tap credible voices such as Cynthia Frelund, Jane Slater, Tom Pelissero, and Daniel Jeremiah.

Unfortunately, don't expect to see Dales on "First Take" very often once Stephen A. Smith returns. Smith has long preferred lighter opposition at the debate desk. Just ask Max Kellerman.

Nonetheless, Dales proved it's still possible to discuss Caitlin Clark as what she is first and foremost: a basketball player.

Mamdani defends controversial NYC map after omitting iconic Little Italy, Jewish and Irish neighborhoods

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani defended a controversial city map highlighting immigrant enclaves Friday, saying it was never intended to be comprehensive and promising updates after criticism over the omission of Little Italy.

In response to Fox News Digital's request for comment, the Mayor's Office pointed to remarks Mamdani made during an unrelated press conference Friday, where he said the map was created under the previous administration in 2023.

"This map was initially created by the prior administration in 2023, and when we inherited it, we added a few additional neighborhoods," Mamdani said. "It's clearly not an exhaustive list of the more than 200 ethnic communities that call our city home, and we're going to be making additional changes in the future to reflect that and that includes Little Italy."

The "New York City Immigrant Enclaves" map resurfaced this week on social media after users noted it omitted Little Italy, as well as Jewish and Irish neighborhoods, despite highlighting 30 immigrant communities across the five boroughs. The map is part of the city's Neighborhood Passport campaign tied to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The omission drew criticism from the Italian American Civil Rights League (IACRL), which accused the administration of erasing one of the communities that helped build New York.

"Zohran Mamdani wants to ERASE Italian Americans. First, he denied our permit for Unity Day 2026. Now, he is excluding Little Italy as a recognized location all together on the map," the group wrote on X.

"Mamdani's City Hall can find room for every fashionable progressive constituency, but somehow it cannot find Little Italy," IACRL President Mike Crispi said in a statement.

The controversy also drew reaction from Republican New York City Council Member Vickie Paladino, who mocked the map in an X post by joking she was renaming her northeast Queens district "Little America."

"Here we welcome refugees from the rest of the city who want to live amongst a culture reminiscent of the nation they once knew as The United States," Paladino wrote.

According to the Library of Congress, more than 4 million Italians immigrated to the United States between the 1880s and 1924, with roughly one-third settling in New York City.

I can’t say I never gamble, but it is extremely rare. For me Vegas is a portal to the Eastern Sierra, Moab, Grand Canyon and other areas for hiking and photography. So, I enjoy the restaurants, vibe, etc but just don’t tend to gamble.
Vegas is Disneyland for adults. It's more than just gambling now. For me, it's just part of the entertainment. I feel many people will drop a few bucks, but not going to sit at a machine for a long time. There is always that "I might hit the jackpot" mentality, even for a person that doesn't really play.

We are just not the gambling type. Flights and car rental are cheap in Vegas, all the outside areas are free to park too...not sure why you need to spent thousands of dollars.
I go for the shows/concerts and most definitely for the food off the strip they have fabulous places to eat at where your not being price gauged. Now you also have the excuse to fly out to catch a game there. I rarely gamble or gamble very little and I'm still getting comped 3 to 5 nights on the regular just pay the resort fee’s. Vegas is whatever you make of it.
I’ve been to Vegas about 6-7 times and have maybe spent an hour of combined time gambling? Theres so many shows and events and things to see/do that gambling feels like a waste of time. Also I’m in NJ and was able to gamble in AC pretty much whenever I wanted so gambling in LV was unnecessary
Yes, but I don't spend thousands of dollars, because I'm not gambling. To me, it's more bizarre to read people giving each other tips on how to get free comps (i.e., you have to lose enough money gambling - far more than the value of the comp.) I'd rather spend money on food and shows and booze and traveling around the region than just feeding it directly into a machine or to a dealer.

I used to gamble more but now I almost don’t at all. I only like table games and they’re just too expensive and too rigged. I’m not playing 6:5 or triple zero. But I do like the food and drinks and cabanas and shows. My wife still puts as much money as she can into a slot machine. So our hotels are free and we get VIP access. So we get good service.

I think that the younger generation doesn't go for just gambling anymore. But I'm old, been over 100 times, and I just go for the gambling. I only shoot craps, and Vegas is the best place for it.

Admittedly, I'm a little surprised by how many people responded (there are way more not shown) they don't do much gambling while in Las Vegas.

That's literally one of the main reasons I go. Nothing hits harder than the boys taking over an entire blackjack table. Now, to be clear, I only gamble when I'm in Las Vegas. I don't do it any other time of the year. It's definitely only vacation behavior.

I, maybe foolishly, assumed a lot of people were the same. I guess not. To be fair, there are some awesome places to see and eat in Las Vegas. Trust me, I've checked out my fair share, but how do people not throw down a single hand of blackjack on an entire trip?

Beloved 'Little House on the Prairie' faces wagonload of 'woke' allegations over Netflix reboot

Netflix’s newly released "Little House on the Prairie" reboot is facing claims it has turned the beloved story into a politically correct overhaul, with the show’s creator addressing "woke" concerns.

The eight-episode season premiered on Thursday to generally favorable reviews, sitting at a 75% critic score but a less enthusiastic 58% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. However, accusations of the show being "woke" flew before it even aired, and now the creator and showrunner of the reboot, Rebecca Sonnenshine, is pushing back, saying people are "worried for no reason."

"I’m not even sure what ‘woke’ means to people anymore, to be honest," Sonnenshine told Variety. "I know what I think it means, which is the definition of it being aware and alert to social injustice and prejudice, in particular racial prejudice. So, when people say, ‘I hope it’s not woke,’ I think, ‘Really? Oh, that’s interesting.’ But I don’t think people are using it in that manner."

But Sonnenshine insists the show is intent on "exploring some interesting issues," and told Variety, "I think conservative people are really interested in Native American stories, honestly. When people watch the show, it’s like, ‘We want to know more about the [mixed-race Osage family] Mitchells,’ and that’s kind of across the board."

"I think that they’ll really like it. I think people just are afraid of whatever they’re afraid of, and that’s OK. But I honestly think that there’s nothing to be afraid of, and it’s a story that will really resonate with everybody," she added.

When the reboot was announced, some conservative commentators were concerned about the show’s reimagining of the beloved storyline. This prompted Melissa Gilbert, who starred in the show for nine seasons, to respond on Threads that the original was also "woke."

"Ummm…watch the original again. TV doesn’t get too much more ‘woke’ than we did. We tackled: racism, addiction, nativism, antisemitism, misogyny, rape, spousal abuse and every other ‘woke’ topic you can think of. Thank you very much," Gilbert wrote.

Fox News Digital reached out to Netflix for comment, but did not immediately hear back.

Former British MP and reality TV star Ann Widdecombe found dead; man arrested for murder

A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Ann Widdecombe, a former British member of Parliament and reality TV contestant, police said.

Widdecombe, 78, was found dead Thursday in her home on the edge of Dartmoor National Park in southwest England. Authorities said she died of serious injuries, Reuters reported.

The name of the suspect has not been released.

Investigators don't believe the killing was politically motivated, Devon and Cornwall Police Assistant Chief Constable Matt Longman said.

"Our murder enquiry is in its early stages but moving at a significant pace," Devon and Cornwall Police said in a statement.

Starmer said the security of lawmakers was "of the utmost importance," and urged people to rise above political differences.

In a post on X, former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson called Widdecombe "a heroic Brexiteer and a great speaker who could move Tory audiences to such ecstasy that she was a very hard act to follow."

Cloud9 Management, which represented Widdecombe for more than a decade, said her life was driven by her "strong Christian values and commitment to public service."

"She loved the cut and thrust of political debate and, 16 years after leaving Parliament, was still actively campaigning for Reform UK and offering forthright views on the hot topics of the day across numerous radio and television programmes (sic). Ann was a valued patron of many causes, particularly her animal charities," the company said in a social media post.

MIKE DAVIS: One leftist Wisconsin judge lets fellow traveler off with wrist slap

Disgraced former Milwaukee Judge Hannah Dugan resigned from the bench after getting charged with obstruction of justice for distracting ICE agents and helping an illegal alien charged with domestic abuse escape through a back door to avoid arrest. A federal jury found her guilty of obstruction of justice, and she faced a recommended prison sentence of 15 to 21 months in prison, with a 60-month maximum. Shamefully, former Democrat politician and Clinton-appointed Judge Lynn Adelman gave her no jail time.

Dugan's conduct, and the woefully lenient sentence for it, defiles the judiciary and shows that some people are indeed above the law.

Eduardo Flores-Ruiz blatantly disregarded our laws by entering our country illegally. He was deported and should have gotten the message to stay away from our nation. Instead, he came back, again illegally, and began wreaking havoc in Milwaukee. On April 18, 2025, he had a scheduled appearance in Dugan's courtroom for three domestic violence charges. Aware of Flores-Ruiz's expected appearance, ICE agents went to arrest him at the Milwaukee County Courthouse pursuant to an administrative warrant. That's when Dugan grossly and illegally abused her power, causing chaos and putting those agents' lives in danger in the interest of her radical leftist ideology.

FORMER WISCONSIN JUDGE HANNAH DUGAN AVOIDS JAIL TIME FOR OBSTRUCTING ARREST OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT

The agents informed Dugan's courtroom deputy why they were there and politely waited for Flores-Ruiz in a public hallway. When informed of the impending arrest, Dugan inexcusably left her courtroom to confront the agents. She claimed that an administrative warrant was insufficient for an arrest, a legally absurd assertion coming from a judge. She ordered agents to leave the building, a command she had no authority to issue. Finally, she directed the agents to the office of the chief judge. Unbeknownst to the agents, this was Dugan's way of diverting their attention so she could put her plan into effect.

Once the agents left, Dugan immediately addressed Flores-Ruiz's case off the record and scheduled a status conference, even informing the defendant's attorney that the accused domestic abuser could appear via Zoom. Then, Dugan directed Flores-Ruiz and his attorney to leave through a side door inaccessible to the public. The judge even led them out herself so the illegal alien did not have to pass through a door opening to a public hallway. Dugan ensured Flores-Ruiz reached a stairwell leading out of the building and to the street so he could escape easily.

Within minutes, the agents determined what had occurred. Along with FBI agents, they gave chase and eventually arrested Flores-Ruiz. This chaotic scene unfolded in front of moving city traffic in the downpour of rain. Any agent could have been killed had a car skidded in the poor conditions. This risk was eminently foreseeable. But Dugan flagrantly disregarded it in the name of protecting an illegal immigrant and accused domestic abuser. The Justice Department properly sought and obtained an indictment against Dugan for her unforgivable conduct.

FEDERAL JUDGE WHO HAD SEX IN CHAMBERS APOLOGIZES TO FORMER CLERK AS IMPEACHMENT PUSH RAMPS UP

Dugan could have accepted responsibility for what she had done and humbly apologized. Instead, she laughably asserted a defense of judicial immunity for her plainly illegal conduct. Pitifully and predictably, dozens of former judges signed onto a brief supporting Dugan's legally baseless claim. These judicial lightweights included the pathetic J. Michael Luttig, a once-respected judge who descended into irrelevance when President George W. Bush correctly passed him over for multiple Supreme Court vacancies. Judges have never been entitled to immunity from criminal prosecution for official conduct. The Supreme Court made it clear in Dennis v. Sparks (1980) that judges face prosecution the same as ordinary citizens. Judge Lynn Adelman correctly rejected Dugan's feeble immunity argument.

At trial, the evidence against Dugan was overwhelming, and a jury of her peers made her a convicted felon. Judges consult Sentencing Guidelines, which serve as a starting point in calculating a defendant's sentence. Factors judges consider include specific deterrence, general deterrence and protecting the public from the defendant. Dugan's sentencing range fell between 15 and 21 months' imprisonment. She had one point in mitigation: her lack of a criminal record. Her unconscionable abuse of power and the public trust, however, overwhelmingly outweighed this mitigation.

Even more egregiously, Dugan endangered the lives of federal agents who were trying to do their jobs safely because this radical in a robe disagreed with the law they were enforcing. She showed no remorse, wasting valuable resources by asserting a frivolous defense. In short, Dugan's conduct – both during her crime and after it – warranted incarceration. Even though she thankfully is no longer a judge, her imprisonment would have sent a deterrent signal to other rogue judges tempted to follow her shameful example.

Judge Adelman, formerly a Democrat politician in Wisconsin, did not see it that way. Dugan now walks free, a mere $5,000 lighter, after her flagrant violation of her judicial oath and the law. Many nonviolent defendants from January 6 served far more time in custody. When volunteering to lead Flores-Ruiz through the side door, Dugan told her court reporter not to do it. "I'll do it. I'll get the heat," Dugan said, per trial testimony. That statement illustrates that Dugan knew full well her conduct was unlawful. She was wrong, however. She did not get much heat for it. Instead, thanks to a fellow leftist judge, she received a slap on the wrist.

Trump refuses to sign bipartisan housing bill in protest over SAVE Act

President Donald Trump on Friday said he will not sign a bipartisan housing bill passed by Congress in protest over the failure of lawmakers to bring the SAVE Act over the finish line.

Meanwhile, the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, which is intended to lower the costs of housing and spur more home construction, is slated to become law Saturday unless Trump vetoes the legislation.

"I will not sign the Housing Bill, which has been fully approved by Congress and sent to the White House, in PROTEST over the fact that the United States Senate is not capable of passing THE SAVE AMERICA ACT," Trump posted on social media.

TRUMP HOLDS WASHINGTON HOSTAGE OVER SAVE ACT AS MIDTERM CLOCK TICKS ON GOP CONTROL

The SAVE America Act, which would introduce new measures to prevent noncitizens from voting in federal elections, doesn't have enough Republican support to pass.

Trump has repeatedly pushed Republicans to make it a top legislative priority ahead of the midterm elections in November.

"THE SAVE AMERICA ACT’S non-passage is CRAZY, and a serious threat to any politician who votes against it!" Trump wrote. He also said the non-passage of the bill is a "serious threat" to any politician who opposes it.

CONGRESS EYES RARE BIPARTISAN HOUSING WIN WITH OR WITHOUT TRUMP'S HELP

Under the U.S. Constitution, a president has 10 days to sign a bill upon receiving it, so it becomes law as if the legislation is signed.

Trump's post came a week after he canceled plans to sign the bipartisan legislation, announcing he was using it as leverage in his push for the strict voter ID bill.

Last month, he called the housing bill "a yawn" and "so unimportant" compared to legislation that would require proof of citizenship for all voters.

AMERICA'S HOUSING MARKET COULD RUN OUT OF SOMETHING MORE IMPORTANT THAN HOMES

"Millions of Americans are being crushed by housing costs," Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., posted Friday on X. "Donald Trump called their crisis ‘a big yawn’ — then refused to sign the most significant bipartisan housing bill in decades. His priorities couldn’t be clearer: higher costs for families and more power for himself."

"Republicans would rather make it harder to vote than easier to afford a home. When people show you who they are, believe them," House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., wrote in an X post in response to Trump.

Rep. Jason Crow, D-Colo., wrote on X that "the rising cost of mortgages and rent are hitting Americans hard. Yet Trump refuses to act."

The White House referred Fox News Digital to Trump's social media post when asked for comment.

Trump's remarks came a day after the National Association of Realtors reported that the median price for a home has reached an all-time high.

The median price for a home sold in June was $440,600, a 1.8% increase from a year ago, the report states.

"Even so, affordability is better than a year ago because wage growth is outpacing home price growth," said NAR Chief Economist Lawrence Yun.

"However, progress on long-term housing affordability could be hampered if inventory growth continues to stall," Yun added. "Without consistent gains in inventory, home prices can accelerate. It is critical to introduce more supply to the market to widen the opportunity for homeownership."

As the founder of the Thursday Night Mowing League, imagine the validation I felt this week when the Wall Street Journal ran a story titled, "Why White-Collar Men Are Obsessed With the Perfect Lawn."

In the story, the reporter, Callum Borchers, writes that, "For a lot of office workers—OK, mostly middle-aged male office workers—a manicured lawn is as much a status symbol as a luxury car in the driveway."

Once again, this league and its league members are one step ahead of pop culture. We're about a year away from the WSJ running a report on why mowing on Thursday night is the ultimate adult flex.

In a 2011 report for Psychology Today, clinical psychologist Ben Michaelis addressed this mowing phenomenon that dominates our brains. He believes it's a male's way of being creative. "I believe that all people were made to create," Michaelis wrote. "The impulse to express ourselves creatively is often suppressed once we leave childhood behind. This is especially true for men who don't consider themselves to be artistic. For these men, their front lawns have become the culturally sanctioned canvasses of their stifled creative souls."

In other words, white-collar men...and blue-collar men...who are obsessed with their lawns are expressing care for the world. The lawn is our canvas. It's art. It's sport. It's competition. It's dopamine.

There's research that suggests even the smell of cut grass is like a drug for our brains.

In 2009, University of Queensland researcher Dr. Nick Lavidis developed a grass spray that smelled like cut grass. The spray was marketed to people as a stress reliever. The idea behind the scent was developed by Lavidis after a trip to the U.S., including a stop at Yosemite National Park.

"Three days in the park felt like a three-month holiday," Lavidis said at the time. "I didn’t realize at the time that it was the actual combination of feel-good chemicals released by the pine trees, the lush vegetation and the cut grass that made me feel so relaxed.

Podcaster Joe Rogan warned on Wednesday that President Donald Trump may have accidentally handed the presidency back to Democrats in 2028 by starting an unpopular war in Iran.

Trump may have brought some normality since taking office, but he also has paved the way for the Democrats to return to power all over again, Rogan warned guest Rupert Lowe.

"For now, but if we don't f--- it, I mean, we might have f----- it up by going to Iran," Rogan said. "I mean, this war is not something anybody that's conservative wanted. While Trump may have promised a "golden age," many of his staunch supporters have since criticized him for breaking his campaign promise on avoiding foreign wars.

Rogan and Lowe spoke about how one thing the Trump administration did manage to accomplish was shutting down USAID, which he and Lowe said was exporting far-left ideology to other countries. Rogan, however, had one key caveat: "Of course, if there was ever a Democrat that got elected president in 2028, it would probably start that b---- right back up, open the borders right back up. Business as usual."

"It seems like there was a desire to move people into blue states and then eventually get them on social assistance and then get them to become citizens, and then you have guaranteed voters," Rogan warned.

Lowe was alarmed at how taxpayer funds are being misused, saying the UK has a similar problem, but argued that in the Trump era, "At least you're making a stab at returning to some form of normality."

Border agents crack open cabbage shipment hiding multimillion-dollar secret at Texas border

FIRST ON FOX: Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers made a $10 million drug bust on Monday during an inspection of a commercial tractor trailer transporting cabbage at the Pharr Port of Entry, a bridge near the southernmost part of Texas.

A canine inspection and nonintrusive imaging scan led officers to a hidden load inside the trailer, CBP said. A physical search uncovered 477 packages containing 1,173 pounds of cocaine with an estimated street value of $10,787,500.

"This interception is a powerful reminder that our CBP officers are on duty 24/7, employing every resource to detect and deter those who attempt to exploit our borders," Carlos Rodriguez, Port Director for the Hidalgo Port of Entry, said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

CBP seized the narcotics and commercial truck.

The haul continues to illustrate the smuggling threat faced by the country even amid historic investments in border security and record-breaking staffing levels at CBP.

The two bills included $64 billion and $26 billion for CBP, respectively. A large portion of the second bill is set aside for agency manpower.

Despite the heavy investments, CBP and other federal agencies remain engaged in intercepting more organized smuggling operations that threaten to bring drugs, weapons and people illegally into the country.

People previously reported that ahead of Harry's trip, his team spent several days exploring ways to make the visit safe through enhanced private security arrangements. Palace sources said Harry initially declined an invitation to stay at a royal residence before accepting it on Saturday, July 4.

Harry's spokesperson told People that an offer for the Duke of Sussex to stay at Buckingham Palace during his London visit was withdrawn after he had formally accepted it. Palace sources, however, disputed that account, saying Harry failed to respond by the deadline and that his later acceptance came only after arrangements could no longer be made.

Harry had also hoped to bring his family to Britain for the first time since 2022. However, after learning they would receive police protection only while on royal property — and not throughout the visit — People reported on July 4 that they would not accompany him.

On July 8, The Mirror reported that Harry was "frantically" working to secure private security so Meghan and their children could travel to the U.K. safely.

It has been reported that Harry wants his children to know their British heritage and have a relationship with Charles, who continues to undergo cancer treatment. Taxpayer-funded security is determined on a case-by-case basis by RAVEC, according to Vanity Fair. The magazine reported that it is generally provided only to full-time working members of the royal family. A Home Office spokesperson confirmed to Vanity Fair that the government's position remains unchanged.

In his 2023 memoir, "Spare," Harry wrote about his daughter meeting the late Queen Elizabeth II and his father for the first time as she celebrated her first birthday during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

AI backlash reaches major university with bold ban on laptops and phones for law students

A major university is taking aim at tech in a sweeping ban against electronic devices in an effort to "ensure students actually learn to think critically, strategically and independently without relying on AI," according to administrators.

The University of Chicago has issued a ban on first-year law students using phones, tablets and laptops in class, a statement released by school administrators said Thursday.

The ban is set to take effect this fall, with university officials saying the rule will combat the use of artificial intelligence in the classroom.

"With AI disrupting higher education, our commitment to rigorous legal education also must mean openness to even rapid adaptation," the statement said. "A willingness to rethink our practices is consistent with our law school’s long history of innovation."

According to the statement, administrators have worked throughout the past year to determine the best way to adopt AI within their curriculum and campus policies, and have sought feedback from the community, students, faculty, law firm leaders and legal technology executives.

"The feedback we have received throughout this process has been consistent," they added. "We need to ensure that our students actually learn to think critically, strategically, and independently without relying on AI; but we also must face the reality that AI tools are already widely available to our students, and our graduates will be expected to be prepared to use them in legal practice."

A PROGRESSIVE POPE TAKES AIM AT AI AND RISKS KILLING ITS MIRACLES

The school has opted to launch a "strategic vision" that encompasses three themes, in which students and faculty will "develop AI-resilient pedagogy and assessment," promote "essential human" skills that distinguish excellent lawyers" and teach "responsible, effective, and ethical use of AI."

Under the newly announced strategy, first-year law students will be barred from utilizing electronic devices in the classroom, and professors instead will designate "classroom scribes" to take notes for the group.

Professors are also granted authority to determine when electronic devices can be used "for specific tech-enabled activities," such as "in-class polling."

School administrators have also determined that students will be required to conduct legal research and writing assignments while using AI as a tool – but cannot use the technology to write the materials for them.

Any use of AI to complete assignments will be reviewed by faculty, with the school also offering upper-level elective courses specializing in the adoption of AI in the legal field and the adaptation of AI tools for work in the legal field.

"It is simply unrealistic to think that students and lawyers will not use AI," the statement said. First-year Florida coach Jon Sumrall may have inherited a team with a 4-8 record in 2025, but the wins and losses belie just how much talent was left on this roster.

The Gators boast one of the best running backs in the country in Jadan Baugh and will likely be in the conversation for best wide receiver unit in the SEC by mid-season.

The problem is that no one in Gainesville knows who will be throwing all those weapons the football come Sept. 5, not even Sumrall himself.

Will it be Aaron Philo, the Georgia Tech transfer who followed offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner south on I-75?

Or will incumbent backup Tramell Jones take that next step and wrestle the starting role away from him?

Jones has the higher ceiling and the bigger arm, but Philo has the familiarity in Faulkner's system and is a bit savvier as a runner.

That last detail could be the difference, as Florida's offensive line continues to be a question mark heading into 2026.

Based on everything coming out of the football facility in Florida, this is a battle that will likely continue into the start of the season, as the Gators open up with presumptive pushovers FAU and Campbell before a trip to Auburn in week three.

Much like with Alabama, the Clemson Tigers have a quarterback conundrum on their hands in trying to decide between a veteran who has waited his turn and a talented freshman looking to take the job by force.

Coach Dabo Swinney has made it abundantly clear that the job is Vizzina's to lose, but Reynolds may have taken that a little too literally.

He may not have the recruiting pedigree that Keelon Russell had, having been rated a three-star in the 2026 cycle, but Reynolds has the size and playmaking ability that could be the difference in the QB competition.

One factor that could help Vizzina's case is the wide receiver room, which could be argued as one of the best in the nation, returning a dynamite duo in Bryant Wesco Jr. and T.J. Moore.

His familiarity with those two can't be overstated, though it's worth noting that both quarterbacks will be dealing with a new offensive coordinator, as Chad Morris finds his way back to Clemson to replace Garrett Riley.

A man lost his hand when an explosive device detonated as he was cleaning up Fourth of July fireworks debris on a beach in Northern California.

On Sunday, Jason Turner and his girlfriend, Pamala, were walking along Point St. George Beach in Del Norte County intending to pick up trash, according to a GoFundMe set up by his daughter, Ashley Turner.

According to the online fundraiser, Turner picked up a "a bomb-like device that unexpectedly went off."

Pamela then helped save his life by using her shirt as a makeshift tourniquet before running for help, Ashley said in a post on Facebook.

The Del Norte County Sheriff's Office said in a statement on social media that their deputies responded to reports of an explosion at the beach. When they arrived, they found Turner in the parking lot with a "significant injury to his hand."

Ashley Turner said her father had to have his hand amputated and is waiting to undergo more surgeries. He is also dealing with vision and hearing loss as a result of the explosion, according to the GoFundMe post.

"My dad will be going into additional surgeries for his eyes. He has metal fragments stuck in his eyes," Ashley Turner wrote in a Wednesday update. "His right ear drum is blown and he has no hearing out of it."

The fundraiser also explained that Turner is the sole provider for his family of seven, and two of his children are still in school.

As of Friday afternoon, nearly $100,000 has been raised to help with Turner's ongoing medical costs. His daughter said his injuries may be permanent.

Pamela later took to social media to condemn the beach trash and any illegal devices or weapons people may have created during the holiday weekend.

"This horrible accident should have never happened and could have been avoided!" she added in another post.

It remains unclear whether Turner's vision or hearing will fully return.

The Del Norte County Sheriff's Office searched the beach and launched an investigation into what caused the explosion.

"If you find a suspected explosive device do not touch it. Move away to a safe distance and immediately contact law enforcement," the sheriff's office said.

He made the comments during an interview on "Deseret Voices" after host McKay Coppins jokingly asked Romney whether he would run for president in 2028.

Romney indicated he "would love" to run again, adding, "and this time I might get it right. You know, third time's a charm."

A federal appeals court upheld a controversial Illinois gun control law that largely bans assault weapons.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit decision issued on Thursday slapped down a district court decision that declared the ban unconstitutional.

"Among other things, the Act criminalizes the manufacture, sale, delivery, purchase, and possession of assault weapons and large-capacity magazines. A grandfather clause permits preexisting lawful owners of the regulated items to continue possessing them," the Thursday decision noted.

"For reasons that follow, we focus on the Act’s application to AR-15s and thirty-round rifle magazines. The Act’s restrictions on these items, we hold, are consistent with the principles that underpin our Nation’s tradition of firearm regulation. Whether to adopt them is thus a decision reposed in our elected representatives, and we reverse," the decision declared.

Chief Judge Michael Brennan dissented from the panel's decision.

"Our Nation’s enduring traditions forbid governments from prohibiting firearms commonly owned for self-defense. Because the people have overwhelmingly chosen the AR-15 rifle and its magazine as their weapon of choice, they are protected by the Second Amendment," Brennan wrote.

"Illinois’s ban goes too far and should be enjoined as unconstitutional. I respectfully dissent," he noted.

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, a Democrat who signed the controversial law in early 2023, hailed the court's decision.

State Attorney General Kwame Raoul also celebrated the decision.

We have seen the damage that assault weapons and large-capacity magazines can inflict, and these weapons of war have no place in our communities," he said in a Thursday statement. "My office has successfully defended the state’s prohibition on these weapons in both state and federal court, and I am immensely proud of the hardworking attorneys in my office who have worked diligently to preserve this critical public safety measure."

On Thursday, LA times long-time reporter, Bill Plaschke, called the Los Angeles Dodgers "tone deaf," and considered them accepting the invitation to the White House to celebrate their World Series championship, "an insult to their fans."

From the outset of this virtue signaling piece, Plaschke paints accepting the invitation as an insult to the Dodgers' largely Hispanic fan base.

"… why in the hell do they insist on embracing the person trying to tear this city apart?"

No, he’s not talking about Karren Bass. No, he’s not talking about Gavin Newsom. He’s claiming that President Trump is the one responsible for the list of issues that the city of Los Angeles faces. Bill, you’re in denial.

And now this group of Dodgers are going twice?"

And as I, and many of you rational, America-loving readers might have expected, Plaschke reached his inevitable conclusion. He claimed the Dodgers visiting the White House is an "insult to their fans" because President Donald Trump is actively deporting illegal immigrants.

"But what happened two months after that first visit altered even that flimsy bit of logic," Plaschke said while responding to Dodgers officials, claiming that visiting the White House was simply showing respect for the country, the presidency, and not an endorsement of Trump.

"The man inhabiting the office rained terror on Los Angeles with the midsomer ICE raids that changed the lives of thousands."

"Many impacted were the Dodgers fans, who filled the stadium every night for the team with arguably the largest immigrant fan base in sports."

Plaschke then went into further detail, trying to shame the organization for not immediately condemning the raids like other pro sports teams in town.

Ironically, he tries to condemn the organization and its players as some sort of political puppets, claiming that they are "serving as a cheap Trump photo op," so they can honor "a man whose policies have a ravage their fans more than any other group in America."

If anybody is a political pawn, holding water for a political party and its politicians, it’s Plaschke.

Also, funny enough, I couldn't find any evidence that Plaschke was critical of Golden State Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr and point guard Steph Curry endorsing Kamala Harris for president at the 2024 Democratic National Convention. Interesting. Liberal players and coaches can do what they want, even blatantly endorse political candidates, but heaven forbid a team accepts the honor for American people and the current administration to recognize and honor their championship achievement.

Easily the most idiotic claim from Plaschke throughout this lecture disguised as an article, was invoking the name of Dodgers' legend Jackie Robinson:

"An organization cannot boast of sharing a uniform with Jackie Robinson while sharing a very public afternoon with President Trump."

In my opinion, without saying it plainly, Plaschke is claiming that the Dodgers attending the White House are somehow supporting racism. It seems to me, making this asinine correlation is at very least, insinuating that President Trump and his administrations ideologies and policies would align with the racists that didn’t support Jackie Robinson and Black players in playing Major League Baseball. That’s inflammatory, unfounded nonsense.

Deporting illegal immigrants is not racist. It’s good policy. It’s what Barack Obama did, even at a grander scale.

Plaschke also stated it "doesn’t compute" that the Dodgers, who he claims "pioneer[ed] LGBTQ+ Pride Night" even "against the wishes of a conservative clubhouse" would normalize "the morality of President Trump" by attending the White House.

Imagine how lost in your liberal worldview you have to be to claim moral superiority, while promoting and defending LGBTQ+ Pride Night, which the Dodgers organization has used to insult Christians and Catholics, many of which make up their fan base.

As he wrapped up his lengthy liberal diatribe, Plaschke pleaded with the organization saying, "It’s not too late. The Dodgers still have time to change their minds and do the right thing." He claimed that the Dodgers should skip the visit for "common human decency."

In his final statements, Plaschke took one more shot at President Trump and went as far as calling the team "losers" if they went through with their visit to the White House.

"The president has treated the Dodgers fans with a careless disregard for their basic community, and the Dodgers need to let him know that is not OK…

Yeah, sure, in two weeks they could threat into the most celebrated residence in America as two time defending champions.

But they would leave as two-time losers."

Bill, maybe you’re the one that is tone-deaf.

Your profession is full of woke, intolerant, hypocritical, delusional, left-wing, political activists, and useful idiots, who think skipping the White House is somehow brave and powerful. It’s the opposite.

The Los Angeles Dodgers organization is correct when they say that visiting the White House is not an endorsement of the man that holds the office.

Platner collapse completes John Fetterman’s break from Sanders socialists who put him in Senate

Graham Platner’s political collapse did more than derail a scandal-plagued Senate campaign in Maine. It also completed Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman’s public transformation from a Bernie Sanders-backed progressive populist to one of the left’s most aggressive internal critics.

Fetterman was among the first prominent Democrats to call out Platner's mounting controversies, even as many party leaders continued backing the scandal-plagued candidate until a former girlfriend publicly accused Platner of rape, an allegation he denies. The accusation prompted the remaining pillars of Democratic support to collapse.

By Wednesday night, Fetterman laid into his onetime political ally Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., in an interview with Fox News’ Charles Hurt on "Jesse Watters Primetime."

"The trash took itself out," Fetterman said of Platner’s withdrawal, as Hurt asked who should be held most responsible for the Platner chaos.

"Absolutely, Bernie Sanders needs to apologize to the voters of Maine and to everyone that donated to that train wreck of a campaign," Fetterman said.

Sanders ultimately called on Platner to end his candidacy after the allegation surfaced, but Fetterman argued the Vermont progressive owed voters an apology for helping elevate him in the first place.

"More than anyone, he pushed ‘P. Hustle’ into the election. And now he keeps pushing these Communists and these kinds of awful, anti-American people."

Fox News Digital reached out to Sanders, Fetterman and Platner's campaign for comment.

JOHN FETTERMAN’S FALL FROM HERO TO HERETIC EXPOSES DEMOCRATS’ HARD LEFT TURN

The comments cap a remarkable political evolution for Fetterman, who recently acknowledged he is more popular with some Republicans than his own party.

"For some strange [reason], I am more popular with Republicans, which is confusing because I vote in the 90-[percentile] Dem-line," Fetterman told NewsNation in March, adding that he supports Israel and President Donald Trump’s "Operation: Epic Fury" against Iran.

Chris Borick, a professor at Lehigh University and former president of the Pennsylvania Political Science Association, called Fetterman's change in relationship with Sanders and the Democrats' progressive wing "dramatic."

"As someone that follows Pennsylvania politics, I can't find anything even close in comparison to the shifts that we've seen in Fetterman's positions on an array of matters over a short period of time," Borick said. "We've seen people switch parties, like Arlen Specter... but in terms of a quick departure on the most significant levels, Fetterman's changes are without precedent in the state."

Fetterman’s break with the left has not been limited to Sanders-world. In Pennsylvania, his increasingly independent posture has also put distance between him and parts of the state Democratic establishment, including breaking some partisan norms.

State Sen. Doug Mastriano, R-Gettysburg, who served in the Pennsylvania Senate while Fetterman was lieutenant governor and presided over the chamber, said the Democrat had "political differences" with him but was typically "gracious and respectful."

He spoke of an interaction on the Harrisburg Senate floor when Fetterman learned Mastriano accrued a record number of ballot signatures to qualify to run for governor against then-Attorney General Josh Shapiro.

"Senator Fetterman came down from the rostrum, congratulated me, and said, 'Doug, 30,000. That's really impressive. Great job.' It wasn't something he had to do," Mastriano told Fox News Digital.

"I can't speak for Sen. Fetterman's political evolution — that's something only he can explain. But I do respect anyone who is willing to speak their mind, think independently, and put what they believe to be America's interests first, even when doing so may not be popular within their own party," said Mastriano, who said Fetterman appears to be "put[ting] Pennsylvania ahead of politics."

Fetterman recently upstaged his home state’s Democratic standard-bearer, Gov. Josh Shapiro, by teaming up with Republican Sen. David McCormick to help secure a booth on the National Mall for the Great American State Fair after the governor’s office said there was too little time and too little vendor interest to assemble one.

Shapiro’s predecessor, Gov. Tom Wolf, with whom Fetterman served as lieutenant governor during Wolf’s second term, also appeared to have no love lost for his party’s new maverick.

"I have thoughts, but I don’t have to share them anymore," Wolf, who has largely retired from public life, said in March of Fetterman’s job performance.

When the two were in office in Harrisburg, Fetterman was closely aligned with Sanders and rode a wave of progressive populism to the lieutenant governor’s office — which is a separate primary-ballot line from the governorship.

Sam Chen, a Pennsylvania political analyst and chief strategist at the Allentown-based Liddell Group, told Fox News Digital that Fetterman’s evolution from Sanders ally to critic is a significant one while questioning whether the Democratic Party’s political environment helped cause the break.

"Fetterman was really helped by Sanders — even in Fetterman's first Senate run … and then against who we really thought was probably the frontrunner in Conor Lamb."

"Sanders really helped put Fetterman on the map and helped get him over the top," Chen said, calling the senator's recent condemnation of Sanders his "biggest break" with the progressive wing.

However, Chen questioned whether Fetterman’s break with Sanders over Platner was less about policy than about judgment, character and candidate quality.

"I wonder if Fetterman would have had this position if Platner had all his policy views that he has now but there was no Totenkopf tattoo or allegations from women."

During his 2018 lieutenant governor campaign, Fetterman touted Sanders’ endorsement as proof of his progressive bona fides, describing the Vermont senator as one of the few national politicians who had the "little guy’s" back. Fetterman was then still mayor of postindustrial Braddock, a working-class suburb outside Pittsburgh, but his populist profile was already drawing national attention.

Sanders in turn came to Pennsylvania to endorse Fetterman: "What John’s campaign is about … is that we are going to transform this country and create a government that works for all of us, not just wealthy campaign contributors," he said, according to PBS’ Philadelphia affiliate.

"Squad" member Rep. Summer Lee, who represents Fetterman's hometown and is more ideologically aligned with Sanders, told the outlet the increasingly isolated senator would run "at his own peril."

Chen said Fetterman's progressive "bona fides" remain, noting he still is reliably liberal on LGBTQ rights, marijuana and abortion — adding that as mayor or lieutenant governor, foreign policy positions were a nonfactor. Still, he argued, the fight over Platner shows how far Fetterman has moved from the progressive coalition that launched him into national politics.
