Conman Brian Walshe's suspicious internet searches and his mother's string of inquisitive voicemails take center stage in a new Fox Nation special on the Ana Walshe murder case, offering a closer look at the strained family dynamics that preceded the Massachusetts mother of three's disappearance.

"I wanted to hire a private investigator to just get some information on my daughter-in-law," said Diana Walshe, her voice muffled through the phone.

The recording offered a glimpse into the family's growing concerns before Ana Walshe vanished, undercutting the image of a picture-perfect marriage and suggesting deeper tensions behind closed doors.

The high-profile case is the focus of a new Fox Nation special, which retraces the events leading up to Walshe's disappearance and explores the cracks in the couple's seemingly idyllic life through interviews and previously documented evidence.

"They appeared to be an ideal couple living in a very affluent enclave in Massachusetts," former prosecutor Josh Ritter recounted.

But all was not as it initially seemed. Boston-based reporter Bob Ward described the difficulties brewing under the surface that would eventually reach a boiling point.

"Her marriage was in complete shambles, and there was no way to repair it," he said.

The same day that Brian Walshe's mother made her call to private investigator Jereme Dozier, Brian searched the internet for information regarding divorce. According to Dozier, Diana made the call under the assumption that Ana was having an affair with a close new contact in the D.C. area named William Fastow.

Evidence appeared to support the suspicion and Ana's private conversations indicated she was prepared to move on with her life.

But those plans were destroyed in early January 2023 when a phone call from Washington, D.C. police to a local department in Cohasset, Massachusetts shattered the peace.

"Her coworker from security was reporting that she had not shown up for work, and that was not consistent with what he knew about Ana and her work ethic," William Quigley, chief of the Cohasset Police Department, told the show.

"We found it very odd that the husband didn't contact us immediately when he hadn't heard from his wife in days, especially with having three small children," he added.

Brian Walshe's story centered on a "work emergency" that demanded Ana's attention in Washington, D.C., so she fled to address the issue. When confronted by the authorities, he insisted he hadn't heard from her since.

"That was the beginning of this," Ward recalled.

Man accused of attacking, attempting to drown female jogger along Houston bayou: police

A man accused of attacking a woman while she was exercising at a Houston-area bayou — and then trying to drown her — was arrested after she fought him off and fled, authorities said.

Jacoby Isiah Fuselier, 19, allegedly attacked the woman around 6:30 p.m. local time Monday along White Oak Bayou, Harris County Precinct 1 Constable Alan Rosen said in a statement announcing the arrest.

The woman told authorities she fought back, gouging at Fuselier's eyes and yanking out clumps of his hair before fleeing, police said. After escaping her alleged attacker, she found deputy constables and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

"This is an incredible story of [a] woman’s strength and will to survive," Rosen said. "We want to see that justice is done for her and we are thankful for the hard work by our deputies."

In an effort to find the attacker, deputies flew a drone above the bayou and discovered a crime scene marked by claw marks through the mud and grass on the bayou’s bank.

They followed fresh bike tracks from the area to a residential street, where home surveillance video showed a man on a bicycle who matched the description of the assailant, the constable's office said.

Once in that neighborhood, Fuselier allegedly approached another woman but fled when he saw her husband, authorities said. That woman told investigators that a man on a bike whistled at her while she was outside her home just before her husband walked out, Fox Houston reported.

Fuselier was later arrested after a brief chase and struggle. He was found in possession of a cell phone belonging to the woman he allegedly attacked at the bayou, Rosen said.

He was initially charged with evading arrest on Tuesday, followed by two counts of aggravated sexual assault on Wednesday, police said.

The final slide of Kate’s Instagram Story was a message of gratitude.

These Democrat-led states have turned vaping into a pricey habit

Democrats are making one of young Americans' most popular habits more expensive in blue states — vaping.

The price of vaping isn't just determined by what's on the shelf. Tax policies can add nearly $18 to the cost of the same vaping product from state to state, creating sharp price differences for U.S. consumers where the price of the same product depends on where they live and shop.

The result is a fragmented tax landscape where blue states are on average paying much more than red states for the same product.

Minnesota and Washington tie for the nation's highest vaping tax burden at about $17.90, with Vermont just behind at roughly $17.33.

At the other end of the spectrum, Delaware, Georgia, Kansas, Nebraska, North Carolina and Wisconsin each add just $0.36 to the same product, the lowest tax burden among states that tax vaping products.

Meanwhile, there are 16 states that do not levy a statewide vape tax at all. For the states that do, however, there's no single approach.

"Unlike other excise taxes, like those on gasoline or even cigarettes, vape taxes have almost no conformity across U.S. states," Adam Hoffer, director of excise tax policy at the Tax Foundation, told Fox News Digital.

Hoffer said those differences make it difficult to compare states without a standardized analysis.

"Vapor products get taxed sometimes by the amount of milliliters in the product, sometimes by the retail price, sometimes by wholesale price, sometimes it depends on the kind of vaping product it is," he said. "And so it's really hard to do an apples-to-apples comparison across states when we look at vaping access."

Despite those differences, Hoffer said one trend has become increasingly clear: more states are looking to vaping taxes as a source of revenue, particularly as cigarette tax collections decline alongside falling smoking rates.

"Some states are simply trying to replace their cigarette tax revenue with taxes on things like vaping products," he said.

That trend has helped push tax burdens especially high in parts of the West Coast, Hoffer said. He pointed to Washington and Minnesota, which tax many vaping products at 95% of the wholesale price.

"In some cases, you can be close to doubling the legal price of the product in the state," Hoffer said.

Those higher taxes don't just affect prices, they can also influence where consumers choose to shop. Hoffer said many people who vape are aware of neighboring states with lower taxes and may cross state lines to save money, particularly in the Washington, D.C., region, where Maryland and Virginia are nearby.

Yellowstone officials decide fate of bison that launched grandfather 8 feet in air

The bison in Yellowstone National Park that seriously injured a man in a viral attack last week will not be euthanized — with park officials confirming the wild animal will remain in the park despite the shocking encounter.

Yellowstone officials said that "no management action" will be taken against the bull, according to TMZ.

The decision comes after the bison charged Carl Isom-McDaniel, leaving the grandfather with multiple broken bones that required surgery, as Fox News Digital previously reported.

The frightening video, captured by wildlife photographer Mike MacLeod, spread widely online after the bison could be seen tossing McDaniel into the air before standing over him.

MacLeod previously told Fox News Digital he feared the animal was about to gore the injured grandfather and stopped filming to help drive it away.

"Once I saw the victim in the air, I stopped filming and ran with some other men to haze the bison away and to render aid," MacLeod said.

The photographer also said neither McDaniel nor his grandson appeared to provoke the animal.

The bull had already charged a group of teenagers before the grandfather and his grandson unknowingly encountered it while walking through the campground.

MacLeod said the pair attempted to leave after noticing the bison become active, but the animal ultimately focused its attention on them.

"For some reason [the bison] had it in his head he was going to attack those two," MacLeod said.

Since the attack, McDaniel has undergone surgery and is recovering from his injuries. MacLeod told Fox News Digital the grandfather's first concern after the attack was his grandson.

"I got to him right away, and the first thing he asked is, 'How is my grandson?'" MacLeod recalled.

McDaniel later learned his grandson escaped without injury and was grateful the teenager was not harmed.

Yellowstone National Park advises visitors to remain at least 25 yards away from bison, which can weigh up to 2,000 pounds and run as fast as 30 mph.

Bull bison can become especially aggressive during the annual mating season.

Since the attack, many Yellowstone visitors have flocked to Reddit to share reactions to the incident.

"I live near the park, and honestly, we’ve seen enough tourists do [just] about everything under the sun to bison, but this is one of the few times we’ve all looked at it, and we’re in shock at how the bison just went at the guy," one Reddit user said.

"I was wishing one of the cars driving by would have opened a door for him [the grandfather] to get in the vehicle while he was trying to escape," another commented.

"This is honestly pretty sad. Usually, when you see this happen, it's some idiot tourists trying to get a selfie or something. That bison just woke up and chose violence. Hope grandpa is OK," a third said.

'A big effing deal': Graham's final mission moves forward after his death

Of the many political crusades the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., undertook, few were as front of mind for him than crippling Russia’s war machine in its conflict with Ukraine.

Yet during the last year-and-a-half of President Donald Trump’s second term, momentum behind a bone-crushing sanctions package against Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin would start and stop, with hopes rising and falling for its proponents every few months.

Earlier this year, Graham had similarly gotten a green light from the White House for a different iteration of the package.

SENATE DEMS DRAW RARE LINE AGAINST MUST-PASS PENTAGON BILL

"It's never going back on the shelf because President Trump believes he needs it," Graham told Fox News Digital at the time. "I think he needs it."

Hours before his death, he again got confirmation that the White House supported his and Sen. Richard Blumenthal’s, D-Conn., latest offering.

"Senator Graham and I were told, very authoritatively, literally just a couple of hours before his death, that the White House was OK with this," Blumenthal said. "We were exalted, he was as exuberant and as over the moon as I’ve ever seen him."

And on Tuesday, the same day that Graham’s sister, Sen. Darline Graham, R-S.C., was sworn in, Blumenthal and a bipartisan group of over a dozen senators unveiled the long-awaited Russia sanctions package.

"I guess I'm going to begin by channeling my inner Lindsey Graham to say, ‘This is a big effing deal,’" Blumenthal said.

The Sanctioning Russia Act of 2026 is the culmination of more than a year of work and closed-door negotiations across the aisle and with 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. It’s one that this time many senators believe it can pass.

Many of the core aspects of the legislation are the same: direct sanctions on Putin, Russian officials and Russian military leaders, up to 500% tariffs on Russian imports, tariffs of up to 100% on countries buying Russian energy, like China and India, and allowing Trump flexibility for when to turn off some aspects of the sanctions.

Key changes to the newly unveiled package include adding a "national interest certification" for Trump’s sanction waiver authority and incorporating sanctions on the myriad ships and tankers that comprise Russia’s "shadow fleet" hauling energy exports under the radar.

A source familiar with the negotiations to craft the package noted that "this is the only product that currently has buy-in from everybody."

"And it's likely the only product that is going to move forward and put pressure on Russia the way we would all like to see it," they said.

Still, the political winds in Washington, D.C., can shift at a moment’s notice.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., told Fox News Digital that he believed "anything is a candidate" to fall victim to external political fights, like Democrats blocking the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) over the Iran war or Republicans fearing another shutdown.

Then there’s the question of what could happen to the package in the House.

"Anything you send to the House right now probably has the possibility of other things getting attached to it, but I'm hoping, at least over here, there's some critical mass behind this," Thune said.

Meanwhile, lawmakers who support the tranche of sanctions view it as a lasting mark of Graham’s legacy in the Senate, and one of the key pieces of work that he left unfinished after his sudden passing on Sunday.

"I've known this man for 32 years, and I'm willing to say this is Lindsey Graham's greatest achievement when it comes to saving lives," Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., said.

Florida school principals face DUI charges after police traffic stops just hours apart

Two Florida school principals landed in the back of police cars after a Fourth of July night out, with bodycam video showing both women arrested on DUI charges in separate incidents tied to the same car.

Bodycam video released by officials shows Jennifer Jimenez, 41, and Christina Alcalde, 45, each being taken into custody in separate traffic stops involving the same white Jeep SUV.

In bodycam video released by the Clermont, Florida Police Department, authorities are seen pulling over the pair of principals.

"Ms. Jennifer, you consumed any alcohol today cause I can smell it," the officer is heard saying.

"Yes, I have," Jimenez replied.

According to a Clermont Police Department probable-cause affidavit obtained by Fox News affiliate WOFL-TV, Jimenez was behind the wheel with Alcalde in the passenger seat when an officer pulled them over around 2 a.m. on July 5 after seeing the Jeep drift in and out of its lane.

The vehicle crossed into oncoming lanes multiple times and drove over a curb before the stop, authorities said. The officer reported smelling alcohol and said Jimenez "would blink really slow and had very slow and delayed reactions."

Jimenez was arrested on charges of of DUI and refusal to submit to DUI testing.

Alcalde, who police said also appeared impaired during the first stop, was sent home in a rideshare while the Jeep was moved to a nearby parking lot instead of being towed.

But around 5 a.m., less than three hours later, the Lake County Sheriff's Office was notified that Alcalde may have been behind the wheel again.

According to the arrest report, the vehicle drifted in its lane and braked repeatedly before an intersection.

Bodycam video shows Alcalde telling the officer she was "way better" and was worried about Jimenez, who had been arrested earlier.

"I’m not meaning to do anything wrong. I'm way better," Alcalde told the deputy.

"Well, look. I just talked to you," he replied. "You were really drunk when I talked to you."

"I know. I know. But I’m not now," she said.

"It's a couple hours later," the deputy said.

"I understand. I’m really not," Alcalde said. "I promise you I’m not."

Alcalde was also arrested on DUI-related charges after field sobriety exercises, police said.

Both principals were booked into the Lake County Jail on DUI and refusal-to-submit charges, with bonds set at $2,000 each.

Alcalde reportedly identified her place of work as Pinecrest Lakes Academy, where she is listed as its principal, WESH 2 reports. Jimenez is principal at Pinecrest Academy Tavares, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

From suffering and alleged overdose while streaming in Miami to appearing in court for illegally discharging a firearm in the Florida Everglades, it's safe to say Clavicular has grabbed his fair share of headlines heading into the dog days of summer.

Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., is brushing off calls to debate his Republican rivals in Florida's gubernatorial race, arguing his opponents remain stuck in single digits while he holds a commanding lead ahead of the Aug. 18 primary.

"I've been consistent," Donalds told Fox News Digital when asked about criticism of his refusal to participate in debates. "These guys are in single digits. They stay in single digits."

Donalds has argued there is no reason to debate given the large lead he has maintained throughout the campaign leading up to the primary.

The Florida Republican, retiring from the House to run for governor, has consistently polled at roughly 50%, with all his opponents trailing far behind in single digits. His campaign has also vastly outraised the rest of the field, raising over $90 million.

"They should spend their time going to see the people of Florida because they're not getting much support at all," Donalds said.

Donalds entered the race with President Donald Trump's endorsement, giving him a major boost among MAGA voters. Gov. Ron DeSantis, who is term limited, has not formally endorsed a candidate.

Donalds' opponents include Florida Lt. Gov. Jay Collins, former House Speaker Paul Renner and investor James Fishback. The three participated in a debate earlier this month — without Donalds — though he was mentioned consistently throughout conversations.

Fishback has raised eyebrows with unconventional moves throughout his campaign. from using Tinder to "meet young female voters where they are" and proposing a "sin tax" that drew the ire of multiple women on OnlyFans.

Fishback recently attempted to disrupt one of Donalds' campaign events, where the controversial candidate stood outside and shouted for Donalds to participate in a GOP gubernatorial debate.

"Another stunt," Donalds told Fox News Digital about Fishback showing up to his event. "Another stunt with people trying to get attention as opposed to, you know, taking their mission, their vision, their ideas to the people of Florida to earn support.

"I'm not going to play with stunts. I’m not going to engage in that stuff."

Fishback pushed back on Donalds' criticism, telling Fox News Digital he has spent more time meeting with voters than any other candidate in the race.

"I’m the only campaign in Florida history running for governor that has met voters in all 67 counties," Fishback said. "I have done twice as many events as Byron Donalds in just the last month."

On Donalds' refusal to debate, Fishback argued voters deserve to see the candidates face off.

"That's what Joe Biden and Kamala Harris tried to do," Fishback said. "And it seems that he's closer to them than he is to Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump, who consistently engage in debate. Voters deserve candidates who are willing to debate before them."

Cara Delevingne believes addiction extends far beyond drugs and alcohol.

The actress argued that "everyone's addicted to something," comparing the pull of smartphones and social media algorithms to substance abuse as she reflected on modern life.

"Everyone’s addicted to something. We’re animals," she told Playboy. "We always had to try and survive, fight for the next meal. Now we have so much in front of us."

"These things right in front of us are made to keep you trapped," Delevingne explained. "The cycle of the algorithm—it’s not great, especially with things like drugs and even your phone."

For Delevingne, the conversation isn't just theoretical. She said her own sobriety has sparked meaningful conversations with fans.

It’s not for everyone, but I don’t know one person who has had a period of sobriety, whether it’s because a parent died or they needed to really process something, that [sobriety] hasn’t helped."

The former Victoria's Secret model didn't shy away from discussing how recovery affected one of the most intimate parts of her life.

"Sex sober after all of that is definitely difficult," she said. "It changes, but it's so much deeper and so much more emotional."

She said the shift forced her to reevaluate what she had been searching for all along.

"I used to put a higher value on sex and validation from people," Delevingne admitted. "I used to think, 'Oh, I’m a pervert. I’m a really horny person.' But I think [I was] seeking love and validation through sex."

Delevingne's perspective stems from her own experience with addiction and recovery.

During a recent candid appearance on Alex Cooper's "Call Her Daddy" podcast, Delevingne revealed she was taking the drug GHB daily before suffering seizures that ultimately became a wake-up call in her recovery journey.

While many fans associate Delevingne's recovery story with the viral paparazzi photos from Burning Man that sparked concern in 2022, she told Cooper the reality behind the scenes was far more severe. At the time, she was using GHB to "effectively knock yourself out" and then cocaine to keep herself awake.

Delevingne revealed that she had planned to get sober after a blowout 30th birthday celebration after years of drug use, believing she could simply stop on her own. Instead, she learned how physically dependent she had become.

"I didn't know how addictive that stuff was," she said, referring to the drug. "I just thought I took it every day. I didn't know that you really had to like medically detox from it. And I started having seizures and that's literally, [the 2022] photos were taken right after I'd had a seizure at Burning Man."

NBA's Adam Silver pushed WNBA commissioner to suspend Alyssa Thomas for Caitlin Clark throat jab: report

When Alyssa Thomas put a fist to the throat of Caitlin Clark, she was not punished in the immediate aftermath.

She ultimately was given a one-game suspension and a Flagrant 2 foul after the WNBA conducted a review, but that apparently was almost not the case.

According to the Sports Business Journal, WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert was not planning on suspending Thomas but was ultimately convinced by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.

Engelbert was reportedly worried that a suspension for a play that was not called on the court was too harsh a penalty. However, Silver said there was evidence of a flagrant foul and implored Engelbert to hand down the punishment.

The outlet reported that the league operated under usual protocols for potential flagrant fouls. However, it also said Engelbert does not want to show favoritism toward Clark because of her popularity while also trying to "appease players who believe they’ve been overshadowed by" her. On the flip side, the SBJ said Engelbert has not been to an Indiana Fever game since Clark was drafted.

The WNBA told SBJ that the report is "absolutely false" - neither league immediately responded to an email from Fox News Digital.

Silver told reporters on Tuesday that they will "have ongoing discussions about what the future looks like" regarding Engelbert’s role in the WNBA.

Clark has fallen victim to numerous hard fouls and boastful trash talk while being the clear face of the league. The Thomas incident prompted Marlin Stutzman, R-Ind., to join a group of lawmakers to write a letter to Engelbert, saying she has a responsibility to ensure every player competes "in a safe and professional environment."

The letter said "the face of your league" is subject to "repeated acts of unnecessary physical hostility and violence." It concluded by urging the league to take stronger action.

"The league has an extraordinary opportunity to inspire the next generation of female athletes to pursue athletics, but that opportunity is undermined when its brightest stars are not adequately protected," the letter reads. "Your fans deserve better, and so do the young girls who look to the WNBA as a model for excellence, sportsmanship, and opportunity."

But is this complex hormone truly something people should try to eliminate, or is it a victim of online hyperbole?

In a recent Fox & Friends segment, Ainsley Earhardt sat down with New York City-based certified dietitian and nutritionist Amy Shapiro to separate fact from fiction.

Why we need cortisol

Despite its reputation, cortisol is a biological necessity. Produced by the adrenal glands, it is the body's primary stress hormone.

"It does help us in many ways," Shapiro said during the segment.

Under normal conditions, cortisol levels follow a natural 24-hour cycle, peaking in the morning to help the body wake up and gradually dropping to their lowest point at night.

Problems arise when the body remains in a prolonged state of stress, causing cortisol levels to stay elevated.

According to Mayo Clinic, chronic exposure to high cortisol can disrupt almost all of the body's processes, contributing to anxiety, sleep issues and weight gain.

Shapiro highlighted these as markers of cortisol imbalance, along with additional warning signs like frequent illness and feelings of burnout.

While influencers often attribute a puffy face ("moon face") entirely to cortisol, Shapiro said this is often misleading.

"It could be your diet, it could be high salt, it could be [inadequate] hydration. Maybe we're not all walking around with these taxed cortisol levels."

Those who suspect their levels are off-balance shouldn't rely on self-diagnosis, the expert advised. A doctor can order saliva or blood tests to accurately measure hormone levels.

Managing levels naturally

Managing spikes starts with identifying and avoiding common daily triggers. Shapiro pointed out that caffeine can increase cortisol levels, especially when consumed on an empty stomach.

She added that exercising and doing high-intensity interval training late at night can also cause a spike in cortisol. "It's better to do it in the morning when your cortisol levels are naturally high," she recommended.

Shapiro also cautioned against "eating ultraprocessed foods, eating high-sugar foods, drinking soda and not eating a balanced diet," as well as "high stress, not getting adequate sleep, not moving your body."

DOJ weighs civil rights probe into Fort Worth police over alleged First Amendment violations

The Justice Department is seeking information from the City of Fort Worth to determine whether to launch a civil rights investigation into the Fort Worth Police Department after publicly posted videos appeared to show officers restricting Christian street preachers' speech based on its content.

A letter Monday from Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division Harmeet Dhillon asked Fort Worth City Attorney Leann D. Guzman to help them determine if they should investigate the Texas city's police department after videos showed officers potentially violating people’s First Amendment rights.

"The Civil Rights Division is committed to ensuring that all Americans — regardless of the content or viewpoint of their speech — are protected from unlawful restrictions on expressive activity," Dhillon wrote.

"Government actors may not engage in viewpoint discrimination or restrict peaceful expressive conduct simply because the speech may be unpopular, offensive, or controversial. The Supreme Court long has held that the First Amendment prohibits government discrimination against speech based on its message, including discrimination tied to the specific motivating ideology or the opinion or perspective of the speaker."

In a statement to Fox News Digital last week, the Fort Worth Police Department acknowledged that an officer made "certain statements that were not accurate" during a viral encounter last month with a Christian street preacher outside a Pride festival, while maintaining that the citation he received stemmed from the use of a bullhorn that allegedly violated the city's noise ordinance, not the content of the preacher's speech.

Officers responded to a June 27 incident at Trinity Pride Fest after nearby business owners complained that the amplified sound disrupted their operations and drove away customers.

Rich Penkoski, a Christian street preacher, was on hand to speak in protest of the festival.

In the video, a male Fort Worth police officer said calling a biological male a "sir" is a "gray area" and that he would potentially ticket people for "offensive" language.

Penkoski, along with fellow preacher David Grisham, appeared in another July 8 video he reposted on X from Libs of TikTok where a female officer said, "If someone is offended by your talking, then we have a problem."

"You're going to ticket us for 'offensive' speech?" a man asked the female officer in the video.

"Yes, absolutely," the female cop responded, saying it was called disorderly conduct.

"When we're right, we're right. And when we're wrong, we're wrong. And there certainly was a better way to have that communication, and we were wrong in the manner of which we communicated that. Certainly, we're going to take accountability for it."

Garcia said the department is undergoing First Amendment rights training.

The DOJ gave the city 30 days to provide records that will help determine whether further action is warranted, including the police department's First Amendment policies, training materials, records of citizen complaints alleging violations of protected speech since 2015, documents related to enforcement of the Grisham consent decree and any additional information showing how the department intends to protect constitutionally protected expression.

"The Division takes First Amendment compliance seriously and remains steadfast in its responsibility to protect individuals exercising their constitutional rights. We look forward to your response and your cooperation in this matter," Dhillon wrote.

Fox News Digital reached out to Dhillon for comment, and she referred to her X post from Tuesday in which she included a copy of the letter and wrote, "Government actors cannot discriminate against viewpoints or restrict peaceful free speech just because it may be offensive to some. Under this administration, the @CivilRights Division will defend free speech, as protected by the Constitution."

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Penkoski said, "First and foremost, we want to thank the assistant attorney general for making this inquiry. We know that under previous administrations, this would have been completely ignored. While various special interest groups claim this administration is targeting their rights, the exact opposite is true — it is Christians whose constitutional rights are actively being stripped away on the ground.

"But we also have to look in the mirror. The vacuum that Christians have created is being filled by everyone else because we decided to keep the gospel indoors while the world burns around us. The Church and Christians are supposed to be the ones that restrain evil, but instead, we have allowed evil to restrain Christians and conservatives. This incident is a massive wake-up call. It is time for believers to stop retreating, stand up, and start aggressively exercising the rights we have before they are gone completely.

"It seems that AAG Dhillon is the only person in the entire federal government who understands why our government even exists. Sad. But, promising."

Andy Burnham, the former Greater Manchester mayor who has frequently criticized President Donald Trump, is poised to become the United Kingdom's next prime minister after emerging as the only candidate to replace outgoing Labour leader Keir Starmer.

Burnham, 56, received nominations from 322 of Labour’s 403 Members of Parliament on the first day of the leadership process, far surpassing the 81 required to enter the contest and leaving potential rivals with virtually no path to qualify.

He is expected to be formally confirmed as Labour leader Friday and appointed prime minister by King Charles III on Monday after Starmer’s resignation.

Britain’s parliamentary system allows the governing party to replace its leader — and therefore the prime minister — without holding a national election. The next nationwide election does not have to be held until 2029.

Burnham’s rapid path to Downing Street is drawing criticism from political opponents and foreign policy analysts who say he has not faced the scrutiny that would normally accompany either a competitive party leadership race or a general election campaign.

"Andy Burnham is the least scrutinized incoming U.K. Prime Minister of recent times," Alan Mendoza, executive director of the London-based Henry Jackson Society, told Fox News Digital.

"He has faced neither a general election nor an internal party leadership debate in order to establish his positions for wider consumption," Mendoza said. "He wasn’t even a candidate at the last general election."

Burnham did, however, win 54.8% of the vote in June’s Makerfield parliamentary by-election, defeating Reform UK’s candidate and returning to the House of Commons after nearly a decade away. Before returning to Parliament, he had been directly elected mayor of Greater Manchester three times.

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage argued in a previous interview with Fox News Digital that Burnham should seek a new national mandate.

"The public are tired of the game of musical chairs that’s been taking place in 10 Downing Street over the last decade," Farage said.

"Mr. Burnham will come in, he will have no mandate," he added. "I don’t even know what his policies are. Literally, I don’t. So, I think for all of those reasons, there ought to be a general election and a fresh mandate."

Farage made the comments before resigning his parliamentary seat this month to trigger an Aug. 13 by-election in Clacton, where he plans to run again. Farage said he wanted voters to judge him amid parliamentary scrutiny over allegations involving gifts from wealthy supporters. He has denied wrongdoing. Police are separately investigating donations made to Reform UK, but no arrests have been announced.

Who is Andy Burnham?

Burnham grew up in north-west England between Liverpool and Manchester. The son of a British Telecom engineer and a receptionist, he joined the Labour Party as a teenager, studied at Cambridge University and was first elected to Parliament in 2001, according to The Associated Press.

He rose through Labour’s ranks during the governments of Tony Blair and Gordon Brown and served in several senior positions, including as culture secretary and health secretary.

Burnham ran unsuccessfully for the Labour leadership in 2010 and again in 2015. He left Parliament in 2017 after winning election as mayor of Greater Manchester, a regional position he used to build a national political profile.

As mayor, Burnham promoted greater regional control over transportation and public services. His administration brought Greater Manchester’s fragmented bus system under public control as part of the Bee Network, a regional transportation project that became one of his signature achievements.

He also became closely associated with the campaign for accountability over the 1989 Hillsborough stadium disaster, in which 97 Liverpool soccer fans were killed. Burnham supported victims’ families in their long-running effort to expose police failures and rebut false accusations originally directed at supporters.

What has Andy Burnham said about President Trump?

Burnham has repeatedly criticized President Donald Trump, accusing him of contributing to global instability while warning that Britain risks importing the polarization of American politics. In a 2025 interview with The London Economic, Burnham compared Trump’s return to office to the turmoil caused in Britain by former Prime Minister Liz Truss.

"The instability that Liz Truss brought to Britain, I think Trump is bringing to the U.S. and the world," Burnham said in the interview. He also described several of Trump’s decisions, including his approach to the Russia-Ukraine war, as "out of order."

Burnham’s criticism of Trump dates back to the president’s first election in 2016. After Trump’s victory, Burnham described some of his rhetoric as "deeply troubling" but argued that politicians on the left should examine why working-class voters had turned to him rather than simply blaming the electorate.

"We have to look closer to home," Burnham said, according to The Guardian.

His language became sharper following the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol. As the attack unfolded, Burnham wrote on X that "any UK politician who gave Trump the time of day should be ashamed right now."

More recently, during his Makerfield parliamentary campaign, Burnham warned that Britain was moving toward "the politics of the United States of America," which he described as "a polarized, poisonous politics where people in communities don’t work together anymore."

"Obviously, the relationship is important to the U.K., but not to the point where we just go along with anything they say," Burnham said.

Trump has already responded dismissively to the likely incoming British leader. Asked in June what he knew about Burnham, Trump said, "I don’t know, I think I see that he was, I guess, the mayor of a town." Trump added that he had heard Burnham was "extremely liberal" and suggested that he would oppose expanded North Sea oil drilling, before declaring that "the U.K. is dying," according ton Reuters.

What are Andy Burnham’s political views?

Burnham is generally regarded as being to the left of Starmer. He has said he wants to take what he calls "Manchesterism" nationwide, describing an approach that places "people and place before party" and transfers greater attention and authority from London to regions that have historically received less investment.

He has emphasized infrastructure, housing, transportation and regional economic development, while arguing against what he calls "trickle-down economics." The Associated Press reported that his priorities have also included vocational education, youth employment, lower energy bills and cheaper rail travel.

Mendoza said that Burnham’s past positions and recent statements suggest he would move the British government further to the left.

"What we can be certain of is that he will be looking to impose a fairly radical left-wing agenda for the country based on his past beliefs and recent pronouncements," Mendoza said.

"In no particular order, these include introduction of wealth taxes, changes to the electoral system, a vast expansion of social housing and attacks on hitherto allies of the U.K. like Israel."

He has also called for Britain to rebuild its military capabilities and domestic defense industry in response to what he described as an increasingly dangerous international environment.

On the war in Gaza, Burnham has criticized Labour’s earlier response and argued that the party was too slow to call for a ceasefire. The Associated Press reported that he has raised the possibility of additional sanctions and trade restrictions involving goods linked to Israeli settlements. Burnham has also condemned Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist attack against Israel.

Burnham has not served in Britain’s national government since 2010 and spent almost a decade outside Parliament, meaning his record is far more developed on domestic and regional policy than on current foreign policy and national security questions.

When could Britain hold a general election?

Burnham would not be required to call an immediate general election. Labour won a large parliamentary majority under Starmer in July 2024, allowing the party to remain in power until 2029 unless Burnham decides to seek an earlier mandate.

Mendoza predicted that Burnham could attempt to capitalize on the momentum surrounding his arrival at Downing Street.

"As he is never likelier to be more popular than on day one of his premiership, we should also be on the watch for his calling of an early general election in order to capitalize on this unique moment," Mendoza said.

Three teen girls arrested in New Jersey for allegedly throwing acid on six women in drive-by attack

Three teenage girls were arrested in Jersey City last month after they allegedly threw acid on a group of six women, a spokesperson for the city recently revealed.

On June 15, six women were near Wilkinson Avenue when "individuals approached and threw what is believed to be sulfuric acid at them," Jersey City Department of Public Safety spokesperson Kim Wallace Scalcione said in a statement obtained by Fox News Digital.

Scalcione todl Fox News Digital that three female suspects — aged 13, 14 and 15 — were arrested in connection with the attack on June 16 and 17.

"All six victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries that included skin burns and peeling," Scalcione said.

Scalcione said the incident "appears to have been targeted and may have stemmed from an earlier dispute among a large group."

The suspects' identities have not been released.

Officials told NBC New York that the women targeted were in their car when the teens drove by on a moped and threw sulfuric acid on them.

Former special counsel Jack Smith was thrust back into the spotlight Wednesday during acting Attorney General Todd Blanche’s confirmation hearing when Sen. John Kennedy pressed the Justice Department over newly revealed allegations related to the Biden-era special counsel's review of lawmakers' text messages.

"Would you check for me first if [Smith] read my emails and … No. 2, how he got them. And No. 3 … what emails did he get of Senator Grassley and, I mean … what were they limited to, if at all," Kennedy asked, referring to Smith’s prior investigation into President Donald Trump that allegedly swept up text messages from 44 members of Congress.

"Did he get emails from Senator Grassley talking about his corn harvest and all that? And who did he share them with? Do you know if Mr. Smith shared my emails with Attorney General Garland."

Kennedy was referring to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, who announced Tuesday that records provided to the committee showed Smith’s team obtained and reviewed text messages involving 44 current and former lawmakers as part of the Trump election probe. Kennedy was not among the list of 44 lawmakers released by Grassley's office.

Operation Arctic Frost, the Biden-era FBI probe that Grassley says formed the basis of Smith’s election case against Trump, initially examined the alleged scheme following the 2020 election. Grassley and other Republicans have been investigating whether the probe reflected improper weaponization of federal law enforcement against Trump and his allies.

Blanche confirmed to Kennedy that the DOJ is investigating.

Kennedy asked Blanche how DOJ officials could get ahold of messages without probable cause.

"There are checks in place that should make it extraordinarily difficult for a prosecutor to collect and review a senator's emails or a congressman's emails or a lawyer's emails or other folks that have privileged protections associated with their communications," said Blanche. "Those checks and balances should always be used."

Grassley’s office said in a press release that Smith’s investigative team bypassed an internal filter review process meant to keep privileged materials from being swept into a criminal prosecution.

"Bypassing a Filter Team evades consideration of additional privileges, such as attorney-client privilege," the release said.

The records were provided by the Trump Justice Department in a full-scale probe of Operation Arctic Frost.

Sen. Eric Schmitt of Missouri also addressed critics, claiming Trump’s DOJ is the "most troubled" Justice Department in history, pointing to weaponization of Biden DOJ's investigation.

Todd Blanche says 'no closed investigations' in Epstein case, vows DOJ will pursue new suspects

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche pushed back Wednesday against claims that the Justice Department has closed the book on Jeffrey Epstein's crimes, insisting prosecutors remain prepared to pursue anyone who can be criminally linked to the late financier's sex-trafficking operation if new evidence emerges.

"There are no closed investigations," he said. "If we learn today, if we learn next week, if we learn next month that there's an individual that we can investigate, indict and prosecute out of the Epstein files, you better believe it, we will."

Blanche's comments came during his Senate confirmation hearing amid continued scrutiny of the Trump administration's handling of the Epstein files.

The Justice Department, then led by Attorney General Pam Bondi, and the FBI concluded a review in July 2025 that found no evidence of a so-called "client list" belonging to Epstein and no basis for further public disclosures. The findings sparked renewed calls — including from some of President Donald Trump's supporters — for the full release of the remaining Epstein files, a process Blanche later oversaw and defended amid mounting criticism.

Blanche drew a distinction between the department's completed review of the existing Epstein files and its authority to pursue new criminal cases. While the prosecutions of Epstein, who died in federal custody in 2019, and his longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell have concluded, Blanche said the Justice Department remains willing to investigate and prosecute any additional individuals if credible evidence warrants it.

He also rejected suggestions that the department has neglected Epstein's victims, saying DOJ officials have met with representatives of more than 30 victims since the review began and would continue speaking with anyone who comes forward.

American mother Jamey Carney was remembered at her funeral as a devoted parent who had built a happy life in Ireland before her life was violently cut short.

Carney, 43, a New York native who moved to Ireland in 2021 with her teenage daughter, was violently beaten and suffocated in her home in Killarney, County Kerry, last week. A Jordanian failed asylum seeker who was living in Ireland and was romantically involved with Carney was arrested in relation to the case in his home country after fleeing Ireland via Istanbul after her death, according to Irish media.

Mourners gathered at St. Mary's Cathedral in Killarney to pay their final respects during a service celebrating Carney's life. The service was livestreamed, allowing friends and family around the world to join in mourning before a private cremation.

"Today we don't dwell on Jamey's death, but we dwell on her life," Fr. Kieran O'Brien told mourners.

He said she and her daughter, Michaela, had found a place they proudly called home, with Michaela settling into school and becoming actively involved in Irish sports.

The priest described Carney as a woman whose "joy radiated" from her, saying she had built a close circle of friends after moving to Killarney and found happiness in simple things. He recalled her love of country music, travel, shopping, going to concerts and spending time with friends.

"She was happy in life and she was happy with life because life was good to her," he said.

"But her real love in life was you, Michaela," he added, addressing Carney's daughter.

"We thank God for Jamey's life, remembering at all times her joy, and the ray of sunshine that she brought to all of your lives," he added.

Family members carried a series of personal items to the altar celebrating Carney's life, including photographs of her daughter, Michaela, and her dog, Penny. A cowboy hat symbolizing her love of country music, the passports she and Michaela used to start their new life together in Ireland and an angel statue were also brought forward.

A framed photograph of Carney rested atop her coffin, which was positioned before the altar and draped in a white pall.

As Carney's coffin departed St. Mary's Cathedral following the funeral mass, young members of Dr. Crokes GAA Club formed a guard of honor outside the church. Carney's grieving sister, Devon, wearing a Kerry GAA jersey and clutching a sunflower, was distraught as family members gathered around the hearse.

The service centered on celebrating Carney's life, her family and the community she built in Ireland rather than the disturbing circumstances surrounding her death and subsequent murder investigation.

Detectives believe Carney was killed around 11 p.m. Monday, roughly 14 hours before her 13-year-old daughter discovered her body at about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. By then, the man had traveled roughly 200 miles by bus to Dublin Airport and boarded a flight to Istanbul, according to the Irish Independent.

Irish police have yet to publicly identify the person they want to question in the investigation or release his name, photograph or any physical description.

Irish police confirmed to Fox News Digital they were aware "of the arrest of a male in Jordan by the Jordanian authorities," but did not identify the man or confirm he was the person of interest in the investigation. Police also confirmed they "have not made any request to the Jordanian authorities for the arrest of any person at this time."

MIGRANT WHO FLED IRELAND AFTER AMERICAN MOTHER'S MURDER IS ARRESTED IN JORDAN

Irish media have widely identified the man as the person of interest in the investigation, though Irish police have not publicly confirmed his identity.

Ireland does not have an extradition treaty with Jordan, where the man is being detained, according to the Irish Independent.

Fox News Digital asked Irish police and Ireland's Department of Justice to confirm reports that the man had previously been refused asylum while appealing that decision. Neither agency confirmed the reports.

The man had been living in state-run accommodation for asylum seekers in Killarney before spending increasing amounts of time at Carney's home after they became romantically involved, according to the Irish Mirror.

He first arrived in the United Kingdom before traveling through Northern Ireland and eventually settling in County Kerry, according to the Irish Mirror.

His social media accounts contain posts from the United Kingdom and Turkey in recent years.

Meanwhile, the FBI told Fox News Digital it stands ready to assist Irish authorities if requested.

The State Department told Fox News Digital it is providing consular assistance to the family.

The Australian wildlife conservationist — and son of the late, great Steve Irwin — is inviting the newlyweds to spend their honeymoon at The Crocodile Hunter Lodge, a luxury resort located at his family’s Australia Zoo in Queensland.

Swift and Kelce tied the knot July 3 at Madison Square Garden, reportedly choosing the enclosed arena because it offered the privacy and security required for what was seemingly the most heavily guarded and secretive wedding in the history of marriage.

Irwin had previously offered to host the ceremony at Australia Zoo, which apparently holds quite a few weddings overlooking its African savanna section.

"Honeymoon is on the table. I literally have a five-star luxury accommodation, The Crocodile Hunter Lodge, at Australia Zoo," he said. "I mean, you’ve got an infinity pool looking over a paddock full of kangaroos. If that doesn’t say honeymoon, I don’t know what does."

The man makes a compelling argument.

I took a peek at The Crocodile Hunter Lodge on Instagram. The place looks legitimately spectacular.

And they don’t just have kangaroos. Guests also get to hang out with emus, koalas and (obviously) crocodiles. From a distance, presumably.

The one-bedroom cabins reportedly start at $949 per night, while a two-bedroom option can run more than $4,000.

That’s pretty steep for us normal people. But something tells me Taylor and Travis could swing it.

There has been some significant hype for "The Dog Stars" ever since the first preview was released. I've never read the book, and likely won't before the movie comes out.

However, I know a fire trailer when I see one, and the new one for the post-apocalyptic thriller is absolutely outstanding.

It's a shot of adrenaline to the soul, and it looks like the exact kind of movie made for guys who love action, suspense and high stakes in a world where civilization has collapsed.

Trump's DNI pick Jay Clayton locks horns with Democratic senator in fiery confirmation hearing clash

President Donald Trump’s pick to lead the nation’s intelligence agencies appeared in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee on Wednesday for a relatively smooth hearing that quickly turned explosive just before it ended.

U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton, who currently serves in the Southern District of New York, was tapped by Trump to be the permanent nominee as the director of national intelligence (ODNI) after former DNI Tulsi Gabbard stepped down from the role last month.

During the hearing, he was grilled by several Democratic senators to confirm who won the 2020 election, after what they view as former DNI Tulsi Gabbard and her interim replacement, Bill Pulte, seemingly questioning the results, as Trump has done before.

Most of the senators accepted Clayton's response — that former President Joe Biden received the most Electoral College votes and the election was certified constitutionally. But upstart Senator Jon Ossoff, D-Ga, the last committee member to ask Clayton questions, would not let the issue go.

"Who won the 2020 election?" Ossoff asked.

"You know, we're not — I'm not — I'm not going to do this with you," Clayton replied.

"This is a job interview. We've established that you have an obligation to be honest and forthright with the committee," said Ossoff. "You do have an obligation to be honest and forthright with the committee. Who won the 2020 election?"

"Like I said, I'm not I'm not going to get into that with you,' said Clayton.

"But you do have an obligation to be honest and forthright with the committee," said Ossoff.

"Is anything that I just said not honest or forthright?" asked Clayton.

"You're not being honest or forthright, Ossoff insisted. "Who won the 2020 election?"

"We can keep doing this," said Clayton.

"Well, we're going to keep doing it because you're not being honest and forthright," said Ossoff.

"I'm not going to engage in the theater," replied Clayton.

Ossoff then continued to ask who won the election, and Clayton continued to say that he had already answered the question.

After that exchange, Ossoff pressed Clayton on whether he knew that Gabbard observed an FBI raid of a Fulton County, Georgia election warehouse in January. When Clayton replied that Ossoff had made him aware of that during a meeting in Ossoff's office Tuesday, the answer wasn't satisfactory to the Senator. The pair engaged in another heated volley over that issue, until Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Tom Cotton, R-Ark., banged his gavel, shouting at Ossoff that his time was up.

"Jay Clayton is a patriot and highly qualified nominee," Senate Intelligence Committee Chair Tom Cotton, R-Ark., said on X.

"In his service to the people of New York, Mr. Clayton has deep experience combatting a wide range of national security threats," he continued. "I look forward to his hearing before the Senate Intelligence Committee tomorrow."

But Clayton, who served as chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) during Trump’s first term, was caught in a political firestorm roiling through the Senate last month that he had no part of.

And if he survives the process — several Democrats still serving in the Senate voted to confirm him as SEC chair — lawmakers are hopeful that it will again set up a path to turn a key counter-terrorism tool back on.

Democrats were enraged at Trump for tapping Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Bill Pulte to be the acting DNI, arguing that he was unqualified and could weaponize the nation’s 18 intelligence agencies at Trump’s bidding.

"Why is Mr. Pulte being promoted? Beyond the fact that just the kind of outright insult to the intelligence community, that he can suddenly do the mortgage banking job and the intelligence job at the same time, it's absurd," Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., said at the time.

TRUMP NAMES BILL PULTE ACTING DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE

In return, they refused to support reauthorization of the nation’s top counter-terrorism tool, Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), causing the program to gradually go dark.

Clayton’s nomination was seen by Democrats as an olive branch from the administration designed to ensure that Pulte would never get into the DNI role, and that consideration of a FISA reauthorization could restart.

Trump later argued that Democrats "broke the deal" with FISA, and that until Clayton’s replacement as U.S. attorney in the Southern District of New York, James McDonald, was confirmed, the nomination would not go forward. And to "add a slight bit of intrigue," Trump demanded that Republicans tie the SAVE America Act to FISA.

"Not complicated, actually, the Republicans fell into a trap," Trump said at the time.

Powerful LGBTQ+ group's endorsements could tank vulnerable Dems over radical youth trans agenda

Endorsements from the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), a pro-LGBTQ+ advocacy group, are raising questions about whether the candidates they’ve endorsed hold the same beliefs as the organization — stances that could fly in the face of attempts to paint a moderate image.

The endorsements highlight the struggle candidates face to manage their associations — especially on topics and in areas that may draw controversy.

Among their stances, HRC has a few that put it solidly in the progressive camp.

TALARICO CAMPAIGNS WITH SURGEON WHO OPERATED ON TRANSGENDER MINORS: ‘WOLF IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING’

The organization has supported gender-affirming care for minors in the form of puberty blockers and hormone therapy. It has also opposed state restrictions on their implementation and has promoted elementary school lessons on gender identity, resisted efforts to restrict Critical Race Theory and promoted removing police from schools.

"Our goal is to ensure that all LGBTQ+ people, and particularly those of us who are trans, people of color and HIV+, are treated as full and equal citizens within our movement, across our country and around the world," the organization states on its website.

The organization has advocated fiercely against virtually all LGBTQ+ restrictions.

In one such case, after the Supreme Court ruled that parents had a right to pull their children out of LGBTQ+ classes and lessons, HRC blasted the decision.

"This decision elevates the religious beliefs of some parents, who believe that being LGBTQ+ is wrong, over any acknowledgement in the classroom that LGBTQ+ young people and their families exist," the organization said in a statement.

In 2026, the organization endorsed 11 Democratic newcomers and 18 incumbents in battleground districts.

Among them, HRC has endorsed members like Rep. Josh Riley, D-N.Y., Derek Tran, D-Calif., and Greg Landsman, D-Ohio, — all of whom won their races by less than five points.

Those members did not respond to requests for comment from Fox News Digital on whether they stood by HRC’s positions.

Headed into the midterms, HRC framed their success as key to taking pressure off of the LGBTQ+ community from the Trump administration.

"Our community is facing an all-out assault on our rights and its coming from a congressional majority bowing to Trump and his MAGA followers. They’re trying to strip away our freedoms and push us back into the closet while doing nothing to meet the urgent needs of the American people," the group’s president, Kelley Robinson, said in a statement.

In the past, some of the candidates HRC has endorsed have framed their appreciation as a matter of shared interest in anti-discrimination.

That was the way Rep. Tom Suozzi, D-N.Y., acknowledged their endorsement of him in a 2023 special election.

"I am grateful for the support and endorsement of the Human Rights Campaign. This will be a tough race, and the support of HRC, which has been dedicated to anti-discrimination research, advocacy and education for more than 40 years, means a great deal to me," Suozzi said.

A Houston woman decided that she would work on her pole dancing skills from the comfort of her living room. What better place to get in some extra work? I can't think of any.

She put up a pole, tossed on a tutorial video, started recording her practice session, and got to work. Then, out of nowhere, the pole slipped and struck a sprinkler head in the ceiling of her apartment.

Asha Gilbert had accidentally made it rain inside of her apartment. The sprinkler poured water down from the ceiling and flooded her apartment.

"I went into shock and was completely stunned," she said, reports FOX 26 Houston. "My main concern was for my dog."

The video shows her running out of the apartment as the water continued to rain down. She and the dog reportedly made it out before the fire department arrived on the scene.

It's a good time to remind everyone that there are risks associated with pole dancing. One of those risks if you're on a pole you've installed in your own living room is slippage.

Jon Gruden has been very vocal about wanting to return to the sidelines, but he may have another stop first.

Gruden's coaching days have been in limbo since parting ways with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2021 during his third year of a 10-year contract. He left after emails surfaced showing he had used racist, sexist and homophobic language.

The leaked messages were from when he was an ESPN analyst and a 'Monday Night Football' broadcaster. Ironically, his next pro football gig may come in a similar manner.

According to Ira Kaufman of JoeBucsFan, Gruden is slated to be on the call for an NFL preseason game, and Kaufman "believe[s]" he will be doing the play-by-play.

Gruden's agency did not immediately respond to an email from Fox News Digital.

While searching for jobs in pro football, Gruden has made a name for himself with Barstool Sports, doing film study-style interviews with prospective quarterbacks just as he had done with ESPN years ago.

Gruden sued the NFL after he left the Raiders, alleging that a "malicious and orchestrated campaign" was used to destroy his career by leaking the emails.

Gruden was the beneficiary of a key ruling in his case against the league in August when the Nevada Supreme Court determined his case could proceed in court instead of arbitration. In October, the Nevada Supreme Court unanimously denied the NFL's petition to reconsider that decision.

"Hopefully I’m not done. I’m about to make a comeback," Gruden said about coaching last July. "Hopefully, some of these guys that fell off my branch, if you say it that way, maybe they can hire me 'cause I’m looking for a job.

"I don’t care if I coach at Jones Junior High. I’m going to coach again. I’m still coaching. I’m just not on a team officially, but I do have some private assignments I work on, and I wear some gear when I’m watching the games that nobody knows about who I’m pulling for."

Gruden squashed reports that he was offered a role with the New York Jets, saying he did not get "anything" from them.

Gruden won the Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2003.
