Tom Brady, Logan Paul get into heated confrontation at Fanatics Fest in New York

Tom Brady’s rivalry with Logan Paul took a new twist on Saturday as the two came face-to-face on stage at Fanatics Fest in New York City.

The two competitors met on stage with New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns coming in between them. The NFL legend then attempted to slap the WWE star before they were pulled apart before things could really escalate.

Paul and Brady responded to the incident on X afterward.

"This happened bc I was roasting Tom for beating him in flag football. And he tries to smack me ?? Horrible example for the kids," Paul wrote on X. "Aura -100 + Blocked. With a torn tricep."

Brady called him a "dork."

"I tried America… will try again next time I see this nerd," he added.

Brady and Paul have been feuding since the seven-time Super Bowl champion said the YouTuber wasn’t a real athlete because he competed in WWE and not on the gridiron like him.

The former New England Patriots star made the initial remarks during Super Bowl week. The two had it out during the Fanatics Flag Football Classic.

Brady suggested in an interview on WWE star Cody Rhodes’ podcast "What Do You Wanna Talk About?" that he would want to get involved in a match.

"I need to get an invite. I've been waiting for (WWE president) Nick Khan to come up with some storyline for me to get in the mix," Brady said Thursday. "I feel like I'm retired from football, and I have an opportunity to go out there and still showcase that I'm a little bit of an athlete."

Brady told Fox News Digital in April 2025 that he might show up at WrestleMania 41.

"I may be there," he said at the time. "But it’s amazing what’s going on there and it’s amazing what’s happening with WWE and all the different things surrounding that."

MSNBC debuted on cable television on July 15, 1996, and now, MS NOW is weirdly putting on the screen a celebration of MS NOW’s 30th anniversary, when it just changed the moniker last November. An announcer proclaims: "Celebrating 30 years… Delivering journalism that informs, empowers and strengthens our democracy."

When it began, it really came across as an NBC News farm team. "NBC Nightly News" anchor Tom Brokaw was still proud to be associated with it. On Oct. 29, 1996, Brokaw interviewed former Soviet dictator Mikhail Gorbachev on the show "InterNight," hailing him as a "courageous, far-seeking prophet" who ended the Soviet Union. Brokaw even gushed: "Perhaps one day again we'll see you in political office in Russia. We know that you've devoted your life to peace and to changing your country and those of us who have gotten to know you count ourselves among the privileged."

MSNBC in the early days was much more ideologically diverse than it is now, with conservative hosts like politician Alan Keyes, Laura Ingraham and that guy who hosted "Scarborough Country," who now hosts its left-wing version, "Morning Joe." Pat Buchanan and liberal Bill Press had a "Crossfire"-style show.

MSNBC hated the Iraq War and loved the protesters. Reporter David Shuster announced to "Hardball" host Chris Matthews in 2003: "The size of the demonstrators, at least here, at least in Europe, seems to underscore, Chris, that there are now perhaps two world superpowers. There’s the United States and then there are those millions of people who took to the streets opposing U.S. policy."

The shift to the left became defined by rants from hosts Keith Olbermann and Matthews. Olbermann routinely accused George W. Bush of fascism, and loved to interview former Watergate co-conspirator John Dean, like this one in 2006 about Dean’s book "Conservatives Without Conscience": "It deals with psychological principles that are frightening and that may have faced other nations at other times, in Germany and Italy in the ‘30s coming to mind in particular. But what—how does it apply now? And to what degree should it scare us?" He added, "What kind of danger — are we facing a legitimate threat to the concept of democracy in this country?"

In 2008, Olbermann famously yelled at the camera at President Bush to "shut the hell up."

This is why it remains eternally amusing that in 2008, when Matthews uttered what might be the quintessential MSNBC moment, that Obama’s speech gave him a "thrill up my leg," Olbermann responded with, "Steady." Matthews insisted he was serious: "He speaks about America in a way that has nothing to do with politics. It has to do with the feeling we have about our country. And that is an objective assessment."

Matthews stuck to his thrills through the Obama presidency, like this silliness in 2015: "He’s done everything right. He’s been immaculate in the presidency. Nobody has accused him of any corruption. His kids are perfect. His wife is perfect. He’s done everything that these right-wing, white conservatives say we’re supposed to be in this country. He’s done everything right."

When it was time for Hillary Clinton to be president in 2016, "AM Joy" host Joy Reid was the cheerleader: "If you look at Hillary Clinton’s qualifications, I mean, my God, since the Founding Fathers, has anyone tried to run for president with more on their resume?" Longtime NBC reporter Andrea Mitchell replied: "John Quincy Adams, maybe." Reid: "I mean you have to go back literally to the 18th century to find somebody with a more packed resume than Hillary Clinton."

When Hillary lost, MSNBC star Rachel Maddow extolled Obama’s legacy: "I think he’ll go down in history as both a consequential and excellent president, viewed from the beginning of the country until now. I think that his economic record alone, in terms of saving us from the Great Depression, if that’s the only thing you knew, even if he hadn’t been the first African-American president doing it, that alone will put him in the top 10 presidents in U.S. history."

Last August, she warned: "Life in the United States is profoundly changing. The alleged Trump autocracy hasn’t shut down any of the relentlessly anti-Trump networks. Merely suing them for defamation is cartooned as a censorship maneuver. Networks like these need to settle the lawsuits, because digging into their fact-defying malice against Trump would make for an easy week in court.

King Charles kept Prince William, Kate Middleton in the dark about secret Harry and Meghan reunion: report

Prince William and Kate Middleton were kept in the dark about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s top-secret reunion with King Charles.

Katie Nicholl, Vanity Fair royal correspondent, reported that, according to sources, "not even the Prince and Princess of Wales were made aware that the meeting was taking place."

Nicholl also reported that the king, "who has sworn his youngest son and daughter-in-law to secrecy," insisted that nothing about their July 10 meeting be leaked. Only palace aides were permitted to confirm the reunion took place after the Sussexes left Highgrove House, Charles' country home, without being seen.

Fox News Digital reached out to Kensington Palace for comment.

"I don't see this as Prince William losing influence," Kinsey Schofield, host of "Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered," told Fox News Digital. "I see it as King Charles recognizing that Prince Harry is his relationship to manage."

"Prince William's priority is protecting the future of the monarchy," said Schofield. "Charles can afford to make emotional decisions that William, as the next king, probably cannot."

The king hosted Harry and Meghan for the first time in years as they tried to repair a rift that has persisted since the Sussexes stepped back as senior working royals and moved to California.

The couple and their two young children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, met with the monarch and Queen Camilla, Buckingham Palace confirmed. A source close to Charles told Nicholl that the hour-long meeting was "completely cloak-and-dagger, orchestrated by the king."

"The king wanted to see Harry and the children," said the source. "A time was agreed for the Sussexes to come to Highgrove... and it was uncharacteristically last-minute for the king. Everyone was sworn to secrecy so that the meeting could remain private."

The insider said Camilla, who was staying at her Ray Mill House estate, drove to Highgrove for the meeting in "quite a hurry."

"Charles wanted Camilla to be there for moral support because she had been a pillar of strength for him throughout all the drama with Harry, and she dropped everything," the source told Nicholl. "She told no one, not even her family. She just got in the car and headed over. They were all on a mission to keep the meeting as watertight as possible."

"Personally, I feel Camilla played a hand in this, too," royal broadcaster Ian Pelham Turner told Fox News Digital. "She would have encouraged Charles to support a meeting, provided that none of the issues discussed would be made public."

Noticeably absent from the reunion were William and Kate. The Princess of Wales was supporting her husband as he saddled up to participate in the DMI Royal Charity Polo Cup 2026 at Guards Polo Club in Windsor. The estranged brothers did not see one another.

"The king's dealings with the Sussexes are personal family negotiations," British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard told Fox News Digital.

"This is not institutionally or monarchy-led. This is about Charles' personal relationship with his son and grandchildren. He makes his own call on family. However, Prince William will not be enamored with the private meeting. He wants nothing to do with his brother or be burdened with the Sussex drama, a drama that he no doubt will have to manage one day as monarch."

A source who knows William and Harry told People magazine that the relationship between the brothers is "so broken."

"I thought it would have perhaps eased a little bit by now, to be honest," said the insider. "But there has been no movement, especially on William's side. There is no contact."

The source noted that there was no expectation the brothers would meet while Harry was in the U.K.

The strain between the brothers, once close, deepened when Harry and Meghan made their royal exit in 2020. It only worsened when Harry’s memoir, "Spare," was published in 2023, in which he detailed the ongoing sibling rivalry.

"The consistent message I've heard is that Prince William isn't focused on reconciliation," Schofield said.

"He's focused on protecting his family and the institution he'll eventually lead. I've never gotten the impression William is driven by revenge. I think he's driven by caution. I'm told he's actually very sensitive, and after years of interviews, documentaries, a memoir and public accusations, he simply doesn't see enough evidence that the pattern has changed in Harry."

"I think Prince William has reached a point where actions matter infinitely more than words," Schofield continued. "Before there's ever a meaningful reconciliation, there would have to be a sustained period in which private conversations remain private and confidence is gradually rebuilt. Right now, that appears to be the biggest hurdle."

"Sadly, one can see how polarizing the Sussex debacle is, not just within public opinion but within the royal family itself," British royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News Digital. "Prince William and King Charles have completely different outlooks. They are operating from two different places."

Several royal experts told Fox News Digital that the king, who is undergoing cancer treatment, was eager to spend time with his young grandchildren. Harry, who has been vocal about wanting reconciliation, was willing to accept his father's terms.

"[The Sussexes] are keeping the meeting top secret," a source close to the Sussexes told Nicholl. "They haven't said anything to anyone. The agreement was made before they met the king that nothing would be shared — no photos, no details. It was a top-secret arrangement, and they pulled it off, and frankly, they are delighted about that."

"... Don't expect to hear anything about what was said," said the source. "That was the promise Harry made to his father. It's critical because this is the first time the families have met in four years. Harry was very pleased it happened because everything was up in the air."

Schofield said William has different priorities.

"King Charles can forgive someone for hurting him," she said. "Prince William also has to consider the repeated attacks on Princess Catherine and on the institution he’ll inherit. Those aren’t identical relationships. I’ve long believed Prince William’s issue isn’t anger. It’s confidence. Once trust has been broken repeatedly, another meeting doesn’t automatically solve the underlying problem."

Chard said keeping William uninformed about the meeting could cause more harm than good for any peace talks.

"Many say reconciliation without William in the room is not family reconciliation," said Chard. "Without a full family council, a true family reconciliation may just fizzle out. The optics don't look good for a united family front. Trust is already thin, and if William is kept in the dark as Charles takes steps to maintain private family moments with the Sussexes, any future healing may become more difficult."

Dan Wakeford, founder of Celebrity Intelligence, previously told Fox News Digital that William's door is "bolted shut" to Harry and that he refuses to budge on his stance toward his estranged brother.

"He could perhaps have absorbed the criticism of himself, which Harry wrote in 'Spare,' but he cannot get over how much hurt it caused his wife," Wakeford claimed.

"A palace source told Celebrity Intelligence plainly that William was fuming and particularly upset about what was said about Catherine. And so, the relationship ... he's done with it. He's done with the drama."

Retired LAPD detective says Scott Peterson deserves a new trial, claims police overlooked critical witnesses

Nearly 22 years after Scott Peterson was found guilty of murdering his pregnant wife, his legal team says "new evidence" could help overturn his conviction.

The 53-year-old's attorneys with the Los Angeles Innocence Project (LAIP) say they've uncovered what they argue is new evidence that could undermine one of America's most infamous murder convictions. They detail their findings in A&E's new two-part docuseries, "Scott Peterson: The New Evidence."

"When you initially have a missing person's case, there are certain protocols, certain things that must be done, and that is to follow up on every possible lead to determine when and where the missing person was last seen," Ninette Toosbuy, a retired LAPD detective who appears in the documentary, told Fox News Digital.

"That wasn't done in this case," she said. "That alone, just that alone, got me very interested in looking deeper into the matter. I think that Scott Peterson does deserve a new trial. I think any individual who's not given a fair trial to begin with deserves that. That is our system in the United States. A new trial would be the right course of action."

But Laci Peterson's mother, Sharon Rocha, isn't buying it. Rocha, who has long rejected claims that Peterson was wrongly convicted, dismissed the documentary's claims outright. "There is no new evidence," People magazine reported. Fox News Digital also reached out to the Modesto Police Department for comment.

Prosecutors said Peterson murdered Laci, who was eight months pregnant, on Christmas Eve 2002 before dumping her body in San Francisco Bay. The remains of the 27-year-old and their unborn son, Conner, washed ashore months later. A jury convicted Peterson and sentenced him to death, though that sentence was later overturned. He is now serving life without the possibility of parole.

The docuseries identifies 15 people who claimed they saw Laci walking her dog, McKenzie, on the morning of Dec. 24 — after the time Peterson told investigators he had already left home for a fishing trip in San Francisco Bay. Toosbuy said investigators' handling of those reported sightings marked a turning point in the case.

"Why wasn't this absolutely exhausted?" said Toosbuy. "Why wasn't this followed all the way through? You've got witnesses, people in the neighborhood, who reached out to Modesto PD once they heard there was a missing person's investigation going on.

"Basic missing person investigation 101 is to track down every one of those leads, interview them and determine whether they're credible, whether they were actually in a position to have seen Laci. And if they, in fact, do seem to have been in a position, take them back to where they last saw her. Physically go to the area and take a look."

"That wasn't done," Toosbuy said. "If you had witnesses who could confirm that they did see Laci at the park or in the neighborhood, and this would've been at the time after Scott already left for the marina, then that would've immediately excluded him as a suspect. If you have multiple people saying the same thing, then he could not have been the suspect or the murderer."

Prosecutors have long argued that many of the reported sightings were unreliable or inconsistent.

Chris Pixley, an Atlanta-based defense attorney featured in the docuseries, said Modesto police largely disregarded the varying accounts, and Peterson’s defense team didn’t call any of the witnesses to the stand, People magazine reported.

"You have to wonder whether the trial would have had a different outcome," he said.

Peterson's attorneys also say authorities didn't fully investigate a burglary reported at the home of Rudy and Susan Medina across the street from the Petersons on the morning of Laci's disappearance.

A burned-out van containing a mattress with what appeared to be bloodstains was found about a mile from Peterson's home on Christmas Day. Peterson's attorneys argued that Laci could have interrupted the robbery in progress and was then abducted and killed by the burglars.

Toosbuy believes Modesto Police zeroed in on Peterson as a suspect and quickly dismissed other theories.

"I think it's bizarre that you find a van that was burned not far from Laci's neighborhood and do not explore the possibility that it's related," said Toosbuy.

"I'm not saying that we know for sure it's related. Of course not. However, it's suspicious, and you've got a woman who's now missing. Both of those things are unusual in a neighborhood like Modesto. You need to investigate whether there is a connection so that you can either eliminate the van or go further. It just leaves more questions than answers."

When asked how likely it is to obtain any DNA for testing today, Toosbuy replied, "I don't know how much there is, and the courts would also have to OK it."

"There are some legal procedural things that would have to take place," she said. "But from an investigative standpoint, I think it's really important that we find out what's on that mattress, if the possibility is there."

The two men convicted in connection with the Medina burglary denied involvement in Laci's disappearance and were never charged in connection with her death. Prosecutors have maintained there was no evidence linking the burglars to Laci's disappearance and said the Medina burglary occurred Dec. 26, after she disappeared.

Attorneys for LAIP have argued that only a small portion of the mattress fabric was tested for DNA, which they say is "insufficient to determine whether DNA from Laci and/or Conner was present."

Court filings indicated prior testing did not identify Laci's DNA on the portion of the mattress that was tested. LAIP has argued that the testing was incomplete.

Investigators later learned Peterson was having an affair with massage therapist Amber Frey. Peterson told her he was a widower facing his first holiday season alone.

"Having an affair is not a nice thing," said Toosbuy. "But having an affair does not automatically make you a murderer, either. It could make you a bad husband, but it doesn't necessarily make you a murderer. Just because he made some bad decisions, that does not necessarily mean he's the person who killed Laci Peterson."

"I'll be the first one to admit that there were things that he did that were really unwise, really dumb things," she added.

The docuseries notes that Laci's remains washed ashore in Richmond, California, and Conner's body was found about a mile away. Hydrologist Ralph Chen testified that, based on wind data, Laci may have been placed in the water between Brooks Island and the Berkeley Marina, where Peterson said he was fishing. It's believed Conner's body separated from his mother's in the water.

However, an expert retained by LAIP used Delft3D hydrodynamic modeling, which simulates wind and water movement, People reported. The expert concluded that Laci could have been placed in the shallows off Albany Bulb, a park accessible only by trail, miles from where Peterson said he went fishing.

There are also handwritten notes. At trial, prosecutors said Peterson purchased a fishing boat on Dec. 9, 2002, and secretly kept it in a storage facility because he intended to use the vessel to dispose of Laci's body. Peterson's attorneys said notes recovered from the home were reviewed by a forensic examiner and appear to indicate Laci knew about the boat and may have been buying equipment for it from marine supply stores.

In April, San Mateo County Superior Court Judge Elizabeth Hill denied Peterson's latest petition, filed on his behalf by LAIP, to overturn his conviction.

"Judge Hill recognized the most recent attempt to undo the jury's verdict for what it was — nothing more than recycled, repackaged and rebranded arguments," Stanislaus County District Attorney Jeff Laugero said in May. "Laci, Conner and their family deserve the finality that justice promised them."

Peterson’s attorneys plan to appeal to a higher California court.

"I do think there are some really compelling things that have come out of the Los Angeles Innocence Project's efforts," said Toosbuy. "Ultimately, everybody's going to make their own decision about what was done, what was not done."

EXCLUSIVE: U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz and former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow on Thursday unveiled a renewed international effort to combat online child exploitation, bringing together government officials, law enforcement leaders and anti-human trafficking advocates like Tebow's foundation to strengthen cooperation against predators operating across borders.

Following the event, Waltz and Tebow answered questions exclusively from Fox News Digital, with Tebow warning parents that the threat isn't confined to distant countries or dark corners of the internet.

"It's happening in their backyard," Tebow told Fox News Digital when asked what would shock American parents most about child exploitation today.

"Child exploitation criminals operate across borders, so a global response is critical. We need to work together to protect our children from predators."

Tebow said the danger facing children online is something parents should think about every day.

"If it's unprotected, it's similar to dropping them off at a playground knowing that pedophiles are circling that playground," he told Fox News Digital. "You would never do it."

"Child exploitation requires a response as global as the threat itself," he said. "Right now, children around the world are being harmed, and we cannot look away. No child should be invisible, and no predator should be able to hide."

"But what I can tell you, there's countries all over the world [where] they don't have the laws on the books that make these things a crime. They don't have the extradition treaties. They don't have the prosecutors or the investigators that know how to handle the electronic evidence in the right way."

He added that U.S. agencies and United Nations partners are working to help countries strengthen those capabilities through training and international cooperation.

Waltz also argued that migration and human trafficking remain closely linked, saying vulnerable girls are often exploited by criminal organizations during migration routes.

Tebow added that investigators around the world continue to face enormous challenges identifying victims because offenders deliberately work to avoid detection.

"When we also talk about this, there are so many places that are underfunded, under-equipped, and it does take some training and understanding of what is happening online so we can best use victim identification," Tebow said. "Those victim identification specialists really are specialists. They're incredible at what they're doing because those that are performing this evil, they're not trying to get caught."

"So it takes really special people to be able to understand, to find them and then bring them to justice. More importantly, bring that kid into freedom."

The collaboration between the U.S. Mission to the United Nations, the Tim Tebow Foundation and international law enforcement partners is intended to strengthen cross-border efforts to combat child exploitation through expanded cooperation, technology and coordinated investigations.

The family of Jimmy Hoffa is asking that the FBI not close the missing person case and instead reveal all it knows about who killed the legendary labor leader as the 51st anniversary of the historic disappearance approaches in two weeks.

"We, and likely many other Americans, would rather have the case solved, not shelved," said Hoffa's son, James, told Fox News Digital.

"I'm shocked that the government would close such a prominent case. This case is of national interest to all, and all the efforts of the FBI should continue to go to solving it," he continued. "We want the case solved. The family wants to have accountability for this horrible crime. We want the case solved so that the family can have closure."

In a letter obtained by Fox News Digital to FBI Director Kash Patel, James Hoffa writes that he and his sister, Barbara Crancer, would find closing the case "disturbing," and urged Patel to let all the information the bureau has on his father's disappearance be made public.

"It is important to us, and the country, that the truth about my father's disappearance [be] told and those involved in his disappearance, even if they are deceased, be exposed," he said. "My sister Barbara and I urge the FBI to keep the case open and active, and to continue the investigation."

Jimmy Hoffa vanished July 30, 1975, on his way to what he thought was a meeting to help in his bid to regain the Teamsters union presidency.

He was last seen in the parking lot of the Machus Red Fox restaurant in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, at about 2:30 p.m. local time getting into a car that whisked him away.

Jimmy Hoffa's remains have never been recovered and no one has been charged in connection to his disappearance.

In the documentary series, "Riddle, The Search for James R. Hoffa," streaming on Fox Nation, one theory speculates Jimmy Hoffa was picked up at the restaurant by Detroit mob capo Vito "Billy Jack" Giaclone and mobster Anthony "Tony Pal" Palazzolo, and driven to a nearby home owned by mobster Carlo Licata, where he was killed.

The theory states his remains were then possibly disposed of in a mob-run sanitation facility in Hamtramck.

Jimmy Hoffa was allegedly told that he would be meeting with Giacalone’s brother, powerful Detroit mobster Anthony "Tony Jack" Giacalone, and New Jersey Teamsters local president Anthony "Tony Pro" Provenzano, a bitter union enemy who was also a capo in the New York City-based Genovese crime family.

He needed the support of Provenzano's 10,000-member New Jersey local in his campaign for the union's top job.

While there have long been conflicting theories about Jimmy Hoffa's fate, Fox Nation reported that an informant told the FBI that he was present when Jimmy Hoffa died and said that Vito "Billy Jack" Giacalone was the person who killed him.

Such information would have been documented in FBI records, called 302s. But so far, the information has not been made public.

"We and likely many other Americans would rather have the case solved, not shelved. We seek closure, not millions of documents that continue the mystery," Hoffa’s son wrote to Patel.

The status of the criminal case is unclear.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, the FBI said it is "dedicated to deliver[ing] transparency to the American public."

"The release of these historic files on Jimmy Hoffa's disappearance is yet another step in that direction," the FBI said.

The bureau previously released thousands of documents, but most are heavily redacted and hide potentially vital information.

James Hoffa suggested the unredacted files could be turned over to the National Archives, without the case being shut down.

"We want the case solved, we don't want tons of redacted paper sent to us," James Hoffa said.

The FBI's Detroit field office has taken over the case, and the bureau has said it continues to take the investigation seriously.

"The FBI has worked for five decades to investigate every lead and process evidence related to this investigation," a spokesperson told Fox News Digital. "FBI offices across the country have assisted over the years and we have received countless tips and information from the public, which has been of tremendous help to the FBI. We appreciate the public, and more importantly, the Hoffa family's assistance and support over the years."

James Hoffa said, "It is time for the FBI to solve the case and to hold people accountable and name names, even if they are deceased, to solve this national mystery."

House Republicans aim to turn Democratic civil war into midterm weapon

NEW CITY, N.Y. - The battle for the House majority will be won or lost in congressional districts like New York-17, NY-3, and NY-4, three crucial swing seats in suburban New York City.

And as Republicans work to hold onto their razor-thin House majority in this autumn's midterm elections, they view the ongoing battle between the left-wing and the center-left establishment for the future of the Democratic Party as political ammunition as they portray Democrats as radicals.

"Democrats have gone further and further and further to the left with no end in sight," Republican Rep. Mike Lawler argued in a Fox News Digital interview.

Lawler, a two-term lawmaker who represents NY-17, which covers much of New York City's northern suburbs, spoke soon after three far-left Democrats backed by socialist New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani defeated more moderate, establishment-backed rivals in showdowns that drew outsized national attention.

Two of primary winners were aligned with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and two of the defeated candidates were congressional incumbents.

"My district is impacted significantly by what happens in New York City. Many of my constituents work in the city, they're cops, firefighters, nurses, teachers," Lawler said.

He charged that "these radical socialists are taking over the Democratic Party, not just for Congress, but the state legislature. And as I said last year, Zohran Mamdani would become the face of the Democratic Party and its leader, and that is precisely what he is doing."

Lawler's Democratic challenger in the midterms is not backed by either the DSA or two other far-left groups, the Justice Democrats and the Working Families Party.

But Lawler, pointing to Democratic nominee Cait Conley's stance on key issues, argued, "The fact is that she agrees with them from a policy standpoint, even if she doesn't couch herself in the same title of socialist."

"My opponent would be a rubber stamp for the radical socialists who are coming, and she wouldn't have the ability to stand up to these people and push back, and the fact is the Democrats have gone further and further and further to the left with no end in sight," he charged.

But Rep. Suzan DelBene, chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, said that any GOP push to paint Democrats as far left radicals are "desperate attacks."

"The midterms will ultimately be a referendum on who is going to lower costs and help improve the lives of everyday Americans - which House Republicans have failed spectacularly to do. In the purple, majority making districts, " DelBene argued in a statement to Fox News Digital.

She charged that "Republicans already know they’ve lost the American people, and that’s why they are resorting to desperate attacks that aren’t actually about the pocketbook issues, but just baseless spin that falls flat with voters who are eager to reject Republicans."

Conley, a West Point graduate and military combat veteran who was awarded three Bronze Stars during six deployments to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, pushed back on Lawler's criticism.

"Voters are sick of political insiders, politicians, political operatives who care more about their next reelection than they do solving the actual problems with the time they are given to represent their people," Conley told Fox News Digital, indicating Lawler, a political strategist before serving as a state lawmaker and then winning election to Congress.

Conley emphasized that "we need new leaders, not people who are part of the political insider network."

The race in NY-17 is among two to three dozen across the country that will determine if the GOP holds its razor-thin House majority.

So are the showdowns in NY-3 and NY-4, which are located in New York City's eastern suburbs on Long Island.

"I think it will definitely affect us in Nassau County since we're a border county," Jeanine Driscoll, the GOP nominee in NY-4 told Fox News Digital, as she referred to the far-left Democratic victories in neighboring New York City. "Bringing in three ultra left wing people who are proclaiming themselves to be socialists, really communists, is going to wake people up."

Driscoll, the receiver of taxes in the town of Hempstead, America’s largest township by population, is challenging Democratic Rep. Laura Gillen, who flipped the district two years ago.

Just to the north, in NY-3, Republican nominee Mike LePetri is facing off against veteran Democratic Rep. Tom Suozzi, who narrowly topped LePetri in 2024.

"Frankly, the people of Long Island and northeast Queens are scared. They're concerned about the future of America if you have the Democrat Party take over the House of Representatives," LePetri told Fox News Digital.

Gillen and Suozzi are among a group of moderate House Democrats who earlier this year launched the "Promise to America," a centrist political pledge that rejects socialism, supports secure borders, and promotes fiscal responsibility and economic growth.

"I call myself a new kind of old-fashioned Democrat. Someone who believes in the traditional values," Suozzi said in a recent "Fox and Friends" interview.

Suozzi emphasized, "We’re for capitalism, not socialism. We’re for safety, not lawlessness. We’re proud of America. Not ashamed of America. And we need to be promoting those things."

"There are people in the Democratic Party that are left of center that don’t agree with the far left. And we just need to do a better job organizing because you’ll see big rallies for people who are extremists, far right, far left, but if I show up and say ‘hey lets work together to solve the problems that we face in our country,’ you’re not going to get a big rally for that," Suozzi said.

But LePetri charged that Suozzi "is two faced. He says one thing, but votes exactly with his conference."

And Driscoll, speaking of Gillam, argued, "they claim they're moderate. If you look at her voting record, her voting record is not moderate."

Top Republicans are using the recent victories by the far-left as a cudgel to bash Democrats in competitive races.

President Donald Trump has repeatedly warned of a "communist" threat.

Vice President JD Vance argued recently on Fox News’ "The Ingraham Angle" that Democrats have "a view that the United States is an evil country that must be dismantled from the ground and then built back up. That's communism at its core, and you see more and more momentum in that direction from the Democrat Party."

But CJ Warnke, communications director at the Democrat-aligned House Majority PAC, told of Fox News Digital that "Republicans are grasping for straws because they have no record of success to run on. OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney is trying to turn the tables on prosecutors before her murder trial, asking a Miami-Dade judge to block the state from using a string of alleged prior violent incidents to paint her as the aggressor.

Clenney, the OnlyFans model accused in the 2022 death of Christian Obumseli, will argue she acted "in self-defense and as a battered spouse," according to newly filed defense motions in Miami-Dade criminal court reviewed by Fox News Digital.

In a July 1 filing, her lawyers asked a Miami-Dade judge to allow them to bring up Obumseli’s 2020 Austin arrest warrant if the state opens the door by describing him as peaceful, gentle, passive or nonviolent.

Clenney’s lawyers claim the records behind the warrant describe apartment staff finding Obumseli’s dead dog, Halo, confined inside a kennel in a closet after an apartment had been abandoned. Investigators allegedly found food in the kennel but no water, and feces surrounding the animal.

A veterinary pathologist concluded the dog’s most likely cause of death was dehydration from water deprivation, and investigators believed Halo had been dead for five to seven days before being discovered, the defense motion says. The filing also claims Obumseli gave "vague, confusing, and conflicting" accounts about the dog’s death.

The animal-cruelty fight is part of a broader pretrial battle over how jurors will see the couple’s volatile relationship. The evidence fight also includes the publicized elevator video prosecutors allegedly want to use to show Clenney as the aggressor.

In a separate June 29 filing, Clenney’s lawyers argued prosecutors are presenting a misleading snippet of the February 2022 elevator video. The state, according to the defense, says the video shows Clenney striking Obumseli, pulling his hair and continuing to hit him before the doors open and he can escape.

Clenney’s lawyers claim earlier footage shows her entering the elevator from her residential floor partially clothed, barefoot and without shoes, keys, wallet or phone. When she reached the lobby, her foot was bleeding, the filing says.

The defense says Obumseli later entered the elevator, saw blood on the floor and wiped it away with his foot.

When Clenney later got back into the elevator, Obumseli followed her, the defense says. Her lawyers argue she repeatedly pressed elevator buttons in an apparent effort to close the doors before he could enter.

Once inside, the filing claims, Obumseli maneuvered around Clenney, reached for the key-fob reader and appeared to put her in a headlock while trying to activate the elevator and gain access to the apartment.

Clenney’s lawyers say she struck him during the struggle in an effort to stop him from getting upstairs. Prosecutors have disputed her account, citing the Miami-Dade medical examiner’s conclusion that the fatal wound was inconsistent with her description of what happened.

A family's unusual discovery in a rental home that left some TikTok viewers shocked finally has an explanation.

Libby Birrell and Aubrey Birrell, two sisters from Utah, recently went viral on social media after checking into an Airbnb rental and recognizing members of their own family in a framed beach photo hanging on the wall.

In an interview with Fox News Digital this week, the sisters admitted they were extremely "creeped out" by seeing the picture.

They were at a rental home in Oceanside, San Diego, with about 30 relatives to celebrate their grandfather's 80th birthday in early July, they said, when they spotted the photo.

"The moment we saw it, we made everyone come up and look, and they were all in awe," Aubrey Birrell said. "I started FaceTiming my friends because they all know my family. They were in shock, too. It was crazy."

Fox News Digital reached out to Airbnb for comment.

"The first time we were sleeping, I will say we were creeped out," said Aubrey Birrell, 26.

It felt "really strange," she added. "Did they know we were coming? We were just feeling a little confused, a little eerie, but also it was just shocking."

They soon asked the host about the photo — who explained that the home's decorator is a San Diego photographer who takes aerial beach photos and enlarges them as artwork for vacation rentals.

"We're looking at this picture, and my dad is like, 'This looks like me,'" Aubrey Birrell says in the viral video.

"We have those swimsuits," Libby Birrell, 19, adds in the video. "We are literally in this picture."

The sisters said they believe the photo was taken about 10 years ago at either Mission Beach or Imperial Beach during one of their family trips for their brother's soccer tournament.

"She must have captured us when we were there," said Aubrey Birrell, speaking of the photographer.

While the family's mystery appears to be solved, some questions remain.

In comments on the viral video, users claimed they'd spotted what appeared to be the same beach photograph hanging in other vacation rentals and homes in other states — including Florida. The claims were unconfirmed, but the idea was unsettling to some people.

The viral video prompted a mix of amusement, alarm and a few similar stories.

"A lot of people were telling us we should leave, that it was like the start of a horror movie," Aubrey Birrell recalled.

"A lot of people also shared similar experiences, like seeing themselves in a picture frame at a store or spotting themselves on a pamphlet in another state. It was kind of cool to hear those stories."

The older sister said the home's host even offered to give the family a copy of the beach print.

Trump's housing chief is taking aim at New York City's housing agenda, arguing the policies championed by Mayor Zohran Mamdani would worsen affordability rather than solve it by discouraging private investment.

The Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary told Fox News Digital that states such as Florida and Texas are "ahead of the game" on addressing the affordability crisis because they have prioritized homebuilding and reducing regulatory barriers that drive up costs.

He argued New York should follow a similar approach, saying affordability improves when governments make it easier for builders to construct new homes rather than expand their role in the housing market.

"That's what we're doing now is easing the regulatory environment, bringing the cost down, raising the supply so builders can build and homeowners can buy," Turner said.

"Mamdani and his policies are the complete opposite of that," Turner said. "So no, they're not gonna work, period."

Mikel Oyarzabal stepped up for Spain and buried the penalty kick, giving the Spaniards a lead they wouldn’t relinquish.

Pedro Porro doubled the lead for Spain in the 58th minute, when he broke through the French defense and found the back of net after beating France goalkeeper Mike Maignan on a crisp pass from Dani Olmo.

The French desperately tried to get back into the game, but the Spanish defense was too sound for them to break through. Spain held on for a historic sixth shutout of this World Cup.

Anthony Gordon scored when he buried a cross from Morgan Rogers to put England on the board with an acrobatic finish. Harry Kane sparked the counter with a long pass that left the Argentina defense flummoxed for the first time all game.

Unfortunately for England, it was all Argentina after that. After falling behind, the Argentines made a furious push to tie the game.

Martinez headed the ball past Pickford to send the Argentine fans into a frenzy as they completed the comeback.

Argentina's comeback ended the Three Lions' bid for a World Cup title, but England can still win bronze by beating France on Saturday.

A sprawling homeless encampment stretching roughly 12 blocks along Manhattan’s West Side is alarming people who live, work and visit nearby, with several telling Fox News Digital that the city is not doing enough to address the tents, trash and reported illegal activity.

"I think it’s embarrassing," said Joan G., a woman who did not want to reveal her last name told Fox News Digital near the encampment.

A nearby construction-site security guard who identified himself only as "Joe the Dog Man" also criticized the city’s response. "I just don't think enough is being done," he said.

Mamdani initially paused encampment sweeps after taking office, fulfilling an early campaign promise, but later introduced a revised removal policy that gives homeless-services teams seven days to conduct outreach before an encampment can be dismantled.

"They gotta clean them up, they gotta keep on top of them," Joe said. "This seven-day stuff, or whatever it is now, is really not working."

City outreach workers visited the encampment this week and were seen primarily collecting trash while many tents remained in place.

Joe told Fox News Digital he believed that police should be given greater authority to enforce the city’s rules.

"I think we need to enforce and give the police the right to do their job," he said.

The encampments near the Intrepid Museum have drawn complaints about blocked sidewalks, trash and illegal activity.

"It’s terrible," Joe said. "Drugs, prostitution and everything else in between."

Some people at the encampment appeared to be drawing power from utility poles, prompting an NYPD response Tuesday.

"The NYPD has not been given the green light to clean this encampment up, but we are ready to do so," an NYPD spokesperson told Fox News Digital.

The New York Post reported that sex workers were bringing customers to tents and nearby bathrooms, citing interviews with people in the area. Fox News Digital has not independently verified that claim.

The encampment runs from 34th Street to 46th Street along 11th Avenue. The encampment’s proximity to the Intrepid Museum and Javits Center has also raised concerns about its effect on tourism.

Karen, a visitor from Belgium, said she was disappointed by what she viewed as the government’s failure to support homeless people.

"It's sad that they're not getting the support they promised them," Karen said. "I don't know how it works here in America, but yeah, like when a politician promises to help people, they should help everyone."

Mamdani made expanding housing assistance and changing the city’s treatment of homeless New Yorkers central parts of his mayoral campaign. The socialist mayor promised to expand the city’s housing voucher program but later appealed a court order requiring its expansion. His administration said the appeal was necessary to pursue an expansion that would be financially sustainable over the medium and long term.

"Shame on us. We have so much wealth in this city," Joan said of the conditions and the city’s failure to house people living on the street.

Mamdani’s office did not respond to a request for comment.

Amid renewed questions of age and health in Congress, lawmakers are split on whether they should implement some form of term limits, capping the number of terms any one person can serve as an elected federal representative.

Despite the relative popularity of the idea of term limits, the debate hinges on whether implementing such a policy would inhibit voter choice and make it harder for Capitol Hill to retain institutional expertise.

That’s the concern of Sen. Tim Sheehy, R-Mont.

"The voters will decide who they want. We have term limits, and we have age limits and that is the voter. And if they decide they want to elect an 80-year-old or 100-year-old that's up to the voters," Sheehy said.

Rep. Glen Grothman, R-Wisc., echoed Sheehy’s thinking.

"I think the voters — when they’re electing, if they want to elect Grassley, you shouldn’t take that right away from them," Grothman said, referring to Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, the oldest serving member of Congress.

Grassley is 92 years old.

Although Grassley himself remains in good health, concern about other senior members of Congress has reentered the public eye in recent weeks. Most recently, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., 71, unexpectedly died in office last week. Before that, Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., 84, and Rep. Tom Kean Jr., R-N.J., 57, prompted public speculation after extended absences due to health reasons.

"I’ve never been a big supporter of legislative term limits. I’ve served two terms in every position I’ve held until this one. I’m in my third term, but I’ve kind of limited myself before because I feel like you should make opportunities for others. And there’s always a trail on the pool of people who are willing to do it," Warner said.

Other lawmakers disagreed, arguing that the oldest members of Congress had shown that most officeholders would strive to extend their stay in power as long as possible.

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, believes that the necessary path is term limits.

"I’d like to see limits on everybody. And the best limit would be term limits and that’s what we should pass," Cruz said.

"I’ve authored a constitutional amendment that would limit all senators to two terms and limit all House members to three terms. An overwhelming majority of Americans support that, and that would solve the problem effectively because you wouldn’t have people staying here forever."

I don’t think that the founding fathers ever meant for it to be that way. Too much power invested in one person — absolute power corrupts absolutely," Marshall said.

Prominent House Democrats appeared caught off guard when asked about the newly announced plan by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) that calls to destroy the current America’s political system — eliminating the Senate, president and Supreme Court.

"I don’t support that," Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., said when asked about the new agenda. "I haven’t read the proposal."

The revision to the DSA platform, "Workers Deserve More" plans to abolish the Senate entirely and replace the president and Supreme Court with an executive branch and judiciary elected by and subordinate to Congress.

Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., one of the most progressive Democrats in Congress, dodged answering questions on the new socialist agenda from Fox News Digital.

The political commitments of the program are split into three sections, with the last section calling "for a unicameral, proportional legislature (abolishing the Senate) and a parliamentary system (abolishing the presidency), among other goals."

The platform additionally calls for the complete abolishment of U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE), pardoning all immigrants, including those who have committed crimes, and defunding the Department of War.

The far-left plan comes as the socialist agenda is proving to be making its way into the mainstream Democratic party as several DSA members and self-proclaimed socialists have been beating out more moderate Democrats in many of this year’s primary elections.

Aguilar told Fox News Digital that he was "not at all" worried about the wave of far-left, socialist candidates complicating the Democratic party’s agenda.

Tennessee woman arrested after allegedly trying to drown one of her children in backyard pool

A Tennessee woman was arrested this week after authorities said she tried to drown one of her children in a backyard swimming pool.

Mikaylee Rae Beirne, 31, of Johnson City, was charged with aggravated child abuse and neglect following the July 15 incident, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Washington County Sheriff Keith Sexton said deputies responded to a disturbance at a home on Cochran Road around 5 p.m.

Witnesses told deputies Beirne was in the backyard pool with multiple children while another adult was inside the home.

The adult then pulled Beirne away and helped the child out of the water. Officials said another adult arrived at the home and briefly interacted with Beirne before deputies arrived. Beirne left the scene before law enforcement responded.

The children were taken inside the home while emergency personnel were called. Authorities said the child suffered minor injuries and bruising.

Deputies located Beirne a short time later and took her into custody.

She did it all against the backdrop of an ongoing national controversy over her treatment from the league and other players, which has reached a fever pitch in recent days.

It was also the highest scoring game by a WNBA point guard or any Indiana Fever player ever.

In an on-court interview with ION right after the game concluded, Clark said she "doesn't really care" about the history she made, and said the way her team played defense was "embarrassing," as Indiana won 110-107.

Clark told reporters that she refused to come out of the game late despite being on a minutes restriction as she is recovering from a back injury.

"I told Steph at halftime, like, I felt really good and I didn’t want to lose this game," Clark said.

"There’s no way I was ever coming out of the game in the fourth quarter. It didn’t matter. I would play with one leg," Clark added.

Clark also reflected on overcoming struggles.

A federal appeals court on Friday struck down New Jersey's ban on semiautomatic rifles and magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds, prompting the National Rifle Association (NRA) to call the decision a "historic victory" in a case the gun-rights organization has litigated since 2018.

In a sweeping en banc ruling, the Philadelphia-based 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals held that New Jersey's assault-firearm and large-capacity magazine restrictions violate the Second Amendment.

The court expanded a lower court's ruling by declaring the state's so-called "assault-firearm" ban unconstitutional as it applied to the full class of semiautomatic rifles, not just the AR-15, and also struck down New Jersey's ban on semiautomatic rifles and its restrictions on magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds.

"This is an NRA case that we've been litigating since 2018, so it's a monumental win," Justin Davis, managing director of public affairs for the National Rifle Association, told Fox News Digital.

The NRA celebrated the decision in a statement, calling it a major victory for gun owners nationwide.

"Today marks a historic victory for the NRA, the Second Amendment, and law-abiding Americans," the organization said.

"The Third Circuit has struck down these unconstitutional so-called assault weapons bans and magazine bans in New Jersey, affirming what we've always known: the right to keep and bear arms, including commonly-owned rifles and standard-capacity magazines, is fundamental and cannot be infringed by politicians who prioritize control over constitutional freedoms."

"This ruling protects the rights of millions of responsible gun owners in the Garden State and serves as another benchmark in our efforts to dismantle gun control across the country."

Writing for the majority, U.S. Circuit Judge Arianna Freeman, a Biden appointee, said the Supreme Court's Second Amendment decisions in District of Columbia v. Heller, New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen and subsequent cases require governments to show modern firearm restrictions are consistent with America's historical tradition of firearm regulation.

Applying that framework, the court concluded New Jersey failed to meet that burden.

The majority held that New Jersey's ban on semiautomatic rifles violates the Second Amendment and reversed the district court's decision upholding the state's ban on magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds.

The opinion said New Jersey enacted its "assault-firearms law" in 1990, following a California elementary school shooting.

According to the court, the governor at the time described the banned firearms as "guns capable of wholesale destruction" that were "designed to wipe out the greatest number of people in the shortest possible time."

The majority concluded that semiautomatic rifles and magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds are protected by the Second Amendment and that New Jersey failed to demonstrate the restrictions are consistent with America's historical tradition of firearm regulation.

Several judges dissented, arguing the banned firearms are unusually dangerous military-style weapons that states have long had authority to regulate and that the decision conflicts with every other federal appeals court to uphold similar state restrictions.

Fanatics Fest is a viral moment waiting to happen considering the plethora of superstars under one Manhattan roof, and perhaps the first one came on Thursday’s opening day at the Javits Center in the Raising Cane’s activation.

It was a legendary combination of Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski and 500 gallons of Raising Cane’s famous sauce filled in a dunk tank. Brady, whose accuracy with a football is still unmatched, didn’t miss his target.

Gronkowski went splashing into the sauce, as Brady and Raising Cane’s owner Todd Graves joined the masses in celebrating one of the coolest moments to kick off Fanatics Fest.

Before Brady’s toss pulled the seat out from under his favorite tight end when they were both in the NFL, Fox News Digital caught up with Graves to find out how a dunk tank filled with his brand’s famous sauce came to be.

"I never thought of a Cane’s Sauce dunk tank, but partnering with Fanatics and Fanatics Fest, which is great," Graves explained. "They’re amazing partners. One, Michael Rubin and I have been friends, and talk about business, help each other out in many different ways. A rising tide lifts all boats. Before we started partnering with Fanatics, I loved what he was doing, I loved the fanfare, I loved having sports and entertainment figure heads – everybody from Tom Brady to Kevin Hart , right? All that together, I was like, ‘Man, let’s partner. Let’s do this deal.’

Actually [CEO of OBB Media] Michael Ratner was like, ‘Let’s do a Cane’s Sauce dunk tank.’ I was like, ‘Yes!’ And he was like, ‘Let’s do Brady dunking Gronk.’ Oh my God, I couldn’t think of two better people doing it."

Graves believed the moment was going to be "legendary" and "going to be something in Cane’s lore" forever. And when the brand opened its first doors in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Aug. 28, 1996, Graves wasn’t thinking 30 years down the road two of the most recognizable athletes in the country would be making this happen.

"The crews are already so excited about it. The fans will love it. What better guy like Gronk, and to have Brady hit the target. It’s ideal," Graves added.

Brady and Gronkowski got the crowd going with a little chicken Hail Mary moment, with the quarterback tossing some Cane’s chicken fingers into a cup of sauce the tight end was holding. But then, the moment of truth.

In classic Gronkowski fashion, he was chirping Brady from his seat, but the FOX Sports NFL colleagues knew what the end result was going to be with that. Brady toyed with Gronkowski at first, hitting a Cane’s logo just above the target on purpose, and did so again with a different one.

Then, on his third throw, Brady struck true, and all of the 6-foot-6, 265-pound Gronkowski caused a Cane’s Sauce explosion when he fell in. There was a splash zone if you were close enough, and it was a moment fans, media and everyone else who witnessed it couldn’t stop talking about.

As Gronkowski wiped the sauce from his eyes, and Brady calmed down from all the laughter he caused, Graves was right there to thank them both for the epic moment he’ll never forget.

"Through growth, I have 100,000 crew members now, and we have 1,000 locations and we’re about to turn 30. For me to walk in here and see our logos up here and see people that want to come and be a part of Cane’s, it’s a dream come true. To do a dunk tank, and Tom Brady and Gronk want to do that, I built a brand that’s special to my crew and customers. So, an absolute dream. I always have to pinch myself and part of my job is doing things like this, which is great," Graves said.

"We love what we do. I love my company, I love my crew and customers. This is just something I think we can do some fun for them, because I know how much I’m going to enjoy it."

First death reported in Upper East Side Legionnaires' disease outbreak as cases rise to 67

New York City health officials announced Friday that the first person has died in connection with a growing Legionnaires' disease outbreak on Manhattan's Upper East Side as the number of confirmed infections continued to rise.

"I am saddened to report that one person has died in connection with the Legionnaires’ disease community cluster on the Upper East Side," New York City Health Commissioner Dr. Alister F. Martin said in a statement.

"My deepest condolences are with their loved ones, and out of respect to their personal privacy, we will not be releasing any additional information on the individual."

The death comes as the outbreak has sickened 67 people as of Thursday night, up from 63 cases reported a day earlier. Twelve people remain hospitalized, according to city health officials.

Investigators are tracing the outbreak to Legionella pneumophila bacteria found in 76 cooling towers across the Upper East Side and one on the Upper West Side. Buildings that tested positive, including the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, have been ordered to clean and disinfect their cooling towers.

Legionnaires' disease is a severe form of pneumonia caused by Legionella bacteria, which naturally occurs in water but can multiply in building water systems such as cooling towers. The illness can be treated with antibiotics if diagnosed early.

Cooling towers, commonly found on rooftops, help regulate large building cooling systems and can release mist containing the bacteria. Health officials have emphasized that the outbreak is not linked to New York City's drinking water or indoor air conditioning.

Health officials urged anyone who lives, works or has visited the affected area since late June and develops flu-like symptoms to contact a health care provider immediately.

Symptoms typically appear two to 14 days after exposure and include fever, cough, shortness of breath, muscle aches and headaches. The disease spreads through contaminated water droplets and is not spread from person to person.

Older adults, smokers and people with chronic lung disease or weakened immune systems face the highest risk of severe illness. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about 1 in 10 people diagnosed with Legionnaires' disease die from complications.

City health officials said early diagnosis and prompt treatment with antibiotics can significantly improve outcomes for patients who become infected.

I mean, if you're going to meet former Florida Gators star Tim Tebow, getting a football autographed is a little cliché.

How does a full-sized gator sound?

Obviously, that was a formerly-alive alligator, but I think those dudes are going to end up with the Gators shrine to end all Gators shrines.

Whenever I see something like this, my head goes right to the logistics. Like, how do you explain that at security? Obviously, there's no problem, but I've been to places where they're like, "Sir, finish your McDonald's coffee or throw it away," so I chug it.

Meanwhile, here come two dudes with something like a giant taxidermied alligator, and as far as anyone can tell, they were like, "Right this way, monsieurs."

And I'm a UCF fan.

One would have to stay and babysit the autographed gator while the other offloads his morning Big Gulp, then they switch.

Jazz Chisholm Jr says Knicks championship parade fuels his World Series hunger with Yankees

If you can dream it, you can achieve it — that’s the mindset New York Yankees second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. has heading into the second half of the 2026 MLB season.

In 2024, Chisholm and the Yankees were close to snapping the "Big Four" sports league championship drought in New York. The Los Angeles Dodgers, the team the Yankees will begin their second half against on Friday night in the Bronx, ended that Fall Classic in five games in their favor.

But Chisholm got to witness what a title parade looks like in New York this past month, as the New York Knicks broke a 53-year drought and sent the five boroughs and the surrounding tri-state area into a complete frenzy of joy, tears and countless other emotions.

It’s the obvious goal for every MLB team to win the World Series in October, especially for the 27-time champions in pinstripes. But Chisholm told Fox News Digital that his conversations with Knicks players during their NBA title celebration only heightened his need to hoist a trophy himself.

"Me and a couple of my teammates talked about it, and a couple of [Knicks] talked about it as well. I talked to Jalen about it, and just seeing how it felt. Hearing it out of his voice and him getting the goosebumps all over again talking about it. It’s just a feeling you want to experience," Chisholm said, while highlighting his collaboration with Corona as part of their limited-edition Beach Connect Series jerseys.

"I talk to my boys about it, and we’re all in."

Chisholm, an impending free agent, wouldn’t even discuss the future past the World Series because he wants to remain in the present as the Yankees try to cement their spot in the postseason.

It was a rough few weeks for New York heading toward the All-Star break, but they ripped off four straight wins to get momentum back before the reset.

They’ve also been playing without their three-time MVP slugger Aaron Judge, who remains out due to a rib injury. Despite his recovery taking longer than expected – Judge hasn’t been cleared to do baseball activities – the Yankees’ captain remains in good spirits, helping his team wherever he can.

"He’s still a big voice in the clubhouse for us. He comes to a lot of road games where he doesn’t have to," Chisholm explained. "He could stay home and rest and do his rehab, but he still makes a point to come and be with the boys and try to help lead us. Even though he can’t help us on the field, he tries to help us when he can off the field. We’re still rallying around him.

"He’s still the most positive guy in the clubhouse every day, so we can’t wait to get him back and turn everything up."

Judge is crucial to the Yankees’ World Series hopes, as they look to hoist their first trophy since the 2009 season. For the Yankees and its fan base, that feels like a century long, but Chisholm knows he and his teammates will continue to fight to break that drought.

He wants to be on the parade float just as the Knicks were.

"You have dreams about it sometimes," Chisholm admitted. "You sit there, you got to sleep, and you wake up like, ‘Dang, that’s what I want.’ I’ve had that dream of us partying on the parade after we won the World Series, and New York going as crazy it did for the Knicks for us. That’s all we’re looking for."

New York Times raises eyebrows by referring to AIPAC as 'hard-right' pro-Israel group

The New York Times is raising eyebrows among critics over how it characterized the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the U.S.-based group that has become a target of anti-Israel advocates.

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted on a bill brought by outgoing anti-Israel Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., to cut military and humanitarian aid funding to Israel, which ultimately failed to pass but still earned majority support among Democratic lawmakers, resulting 103-98. Massie was the sole Republican vote.

In the Times' report on the vote, it highlighted how Democrats have increasingly vowed not to accept donations from AIPAC, which historically gave to both Democrats and Republicans who are supportive of Israel and its alliance with the U.S. Among those who have committed not to accept AIPAC money is Rep. Seth Moulton, D-Mass.

"Mr. Moulton, who is running for Senate, has also said he would no longer accept donations from AIPAC, the hard-right pro-Israel lobbying group that has recently become a toxic brand among Democrats," the Times wrote.

Founded in 1954, AIPAC says its mission is to "encourage and persuade the U.S. government to enact specific policies that create a strong, enduring and mutually beneficial relationship with our ally Israel," and that it helps "elect Democrats and Republicans who support the alliance."

Prominent Democrats once joined Republicans in speaking at AIPAC's annual Policy Conference, which hasn't been held since the COVID pandemic. Among the top Democrats who spoke at its last conference in March 2020 were Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y. and then former Vice President Joe Biden via a video message. Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., spoke at the conference the year prior while serving as House speaker — she notably voted in favor of defunding money to Israel this week while Jeffries voted against the bill.

Critics on social media were puzzled by the Times' description of the pro-Israel group.

"@anniekarni , a veteran NYT reporter, published a piece tn which she calls AIPAC a 'hard-right lobbying group.' What possible defense can you have of this formulation about an organization whose staff is probably 70 percent Democratic, Annie? Is it fun joining the jackals?" Commentary Magazine editor John Podhoretz called out the Times reporter on Friday.

"I wish AIPAC was hard right. Or even kind of right," New York Post columnist Karol Markowicz reacted.

"AIPAC is a bunch of left-center squishes. It's only 'hard right' if you think Israel defending itself is 'extreme,'" California Post opinion editor Joel Pollak wrote.

"Shows how detached from reality a lot of media coverage of Israel has become. Most pro-Israel Jews are Democrats!" Jewish Insider editor-in-chief Josh Kraushaar exclaimed.

Neither The New York Times nor AIPAC responded to Fox News Digital's requests for comment.

In the post-Oct. 7 political climate, support for Israel has dropped dramatically among Democrats while maintaining a much larger swath among Republicans. AIPAC itself has widely been scapegoated by anti-Israel advocates, many of whom falsely push the narrative that the Jewish state is buying influence through AIPAC despite the fact that AIPAC is an American organization run by pro-Israel U.S. citizens.

Standing against Israel has become a litmus test for the progressive base of the Democratic Party for political hopefuls and is widely expected to be a major issue during the 2028 presidential election.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z's East Hampton home gate damaged after man crashes through

A man crashed into Beyoncé and Jay-Z's wooden gate outside their East Hampton home on Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

According to the police report obtained by Fox News Digital, the man was identified as Keith Jonathan Webster, 63, and he resides in the Bronx. Webster was charged with a felony criminal mischief in the second degree, and a misdemeanor for criminal trespass in the third degree.

Per the police report, Beyoncé and Jay-Z's front gate suffered "significant front end damage." A witness saw Webster driving at "a high rate of speed up the driveway" and did not stop until he broke the gate down and was on the celebrity couple's driveway.

According to the East Hampton Press, Webster had his arraignment on Thursday. Justice Steven Tekulsky issued a stay-away order of protection, banning the 63-year-old from attempting to contact Beyoncé or Jay-Z. The outlet stated that Webster appeared "disorientated" during the arraignment and was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital’s mental health facility to be evaluated.

Detective Sergeant Jennifer Dunn said that Webster's motive is still under investigation and she shared that he does not have a criminal record, per the East Hampton Press.

Former Bills, Steelers cornerback Levi Wallace retires at 31

Cornerback Levi Wallace has retired from the NFL at age 31.

Wallace was with the Jacksonville Jaguars last season, but spent the year on injured reserve and never appeared in a game. His final game action came with the Denver Broncos in 2024.

He announced his retirement on Instagram, captioning the post, "Walk-on. Undrafted. 8 years. Retired."

"Not bad."

Wallace was undrafted out of Alabama, but being an underdog was familiar to him. He played for Nick Saban at Alabama, joining the team as a walk-on in 2014.

For the first two years of his collegiate career, he played on the scout team and eventually saw the field, earning a scholarship for the 2016 season. In 2017, he became a key starter for the Crimson Tide defense during the National Championship-winning season.

In 2017, he recorded 48 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, three interceptions and led the SEC with 15 pass breakups. He returned one of his interceptions for a touchdown.

Coming out of Alabama, Wallace went undrafted and signed with the Buffalo Bills as a free agent. He eventually earned a spot in the starting lineup during his rookie year, starting seven games.

Once Wallace seized a spot in the secondary, he didn’t let go, as he started every game he appeared in for the Bills over his four-year stint with them. With the Bills, Wallace recorded 219 tackles and six interceptions.

Wallace signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers following his Bills tenure, and started 18 of 31 games over two seasons. While he didn’t start as much, he still remained a ball hawk, snaring six interceptions over those two years for Pittsburgh.

In Wallace’s final season with Denver, he started two of 13 games and recorded 28 tackles.

In 96 career games, Wallace recorded 333 tackles, 56 pass deflections and 12 interceptions.
