On Wednesday, the actress took to social media to share a series of photos of herself frolicking around the Santa Monica pier in a brunette wig while enjoying an afternoon with her best friend.

"When ur bestie shows up and says 'here put this wig on,'" Sweeney captioned the post, which featured a carousel of photos showing off her new look.

The public outing comes amid ongoing backlash over her controversial Novig sports betting ads, which sparked fierce criticism from female athletes and critics who accused the company of sexualizing women in sports.

In the original ad, Sweeney appeared nearly nude while posing with sports equipment and telling viewers the platform was "just sports." The campaign prompted criticism from Olympians and professional athletes, including swimmer Ariarne Titmus, who called it a "kick in the face" to women who have devoted their lives to sports.

Gymnast Gracie Kramer accused the ad of marketing women’s sports "through the male gaze," while British sprinter Amy Hunt said the campaign offered an inaccurate picture of what women in sports look like.

Sweeney later appeared to respond by sharing images of famous athletes, including Serena Williams, Ronda Rousey, Sue Bird, Megan Rapinoe and Caroline Wozniacki, who had posed nude for ESPN’s Body Issue.

On Sunday, Sweeney doubled down and ditched her top in a new commercial for Novig, wearing only white underwear while strategically covering herself with footballs.

"There are grown men making spreadsheets to bet on what color underwear I’m wearing," Sweeney says in the ad posted on Instagram. "I mean, I’m flattered?"

Jon Rahm officially walks away from LIV Golf and the estimated $100M still owed to him in deal

Jon Rahm is officially out of LIV Golf, and it's costing him.

The two-time major winner reached a separation agreement with the league in which he agreed to forfeit the remainder of the estimated $100 million owed to him. Rahm will have his name, image, and likeness rights returned to him as part of the deal, ESPN reported, citing court records.

Rahm shocked the golf world nearly three years ago when, after publicly dismissing the league, he joined it on a deal that was rumored to be between $300 million and $600 million.

But at a bankruptcy hearing last week, Rahm's attorneys stated that he would not be part of what has been dubbed "LIV 2.0" and its "unacceptable" terms.

LIV filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in New Jersey last month. Between 2021 and 2026, LIV spent an estimated $5 billion to $8 billion. Bankruptcy filings show the league owes millions of dollars in unpaid compensation to top players, including Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, Dustin Johnson and Cam Smith.

The PIF halted funding in April to redirect money toward domestic projects and manage financial pressures from the regional war with Iran. Following the decision, PIF governor Yasir Al-Rumayyan resigned from LIV’s board.

Rahm won the league's individual title in each of the last three years, making his defection from the league arguably its biggest hit.

The rest of the golfers have until Oct. 25 to decide whether they will stay for LIV 2.0 or follow in Rahm's footsteps. There is a chance the league will cease operations.

The DP World Tour, formerly known as the European Tour, announced earlier this week that LIV players would no longer be allowed to play in its events. LIV golfers were allowed to play on the DP World Tour as long as they were in good standing and paid any fines for playing in LIV events that conflicted with the DP World Tour calendar — those fines were paid for by the PIF until 2025.

Rahm won the 2021 U.S. Open and the 2023 Masters. He and Tyrrell Hatton were the lone LIV golfers on Team Europe during last year's Ryder Cup.

LIV has laid off most of its operational staff, left event contractors waiting for payment and faces a lawsuit from the Premier Golf League alleging breach of confidence and conspiracy.

Brooks Koepka was the first big name to leave LIV Golf, doing so late last year and returning to the PGA Tour. Patrick Reed followed in his footsteps shortly after.

Shortly after the PIF pulled its funding, LIV CEO Scott O'Neil said the LIV calendar would not be altered, but that did not occur. The league's originally-scheduled championship weekend was canceled, forcing it to be played a week earlier.

The Clintons are back on the midterm campaign circuit — with Bill Clinton heading to Florida to stump for Democratic gubernatorial nominee David Jolly and Hillary Clinton taking to the podcast microphone as the party makes its final push toward Election Day.

The former president is scheduled to make his first public campaign appearance of the 2026 election cycle on Oct. 20 for Jolly, a former Republican congressman turned Democrat. Hillary, meanwhile, has teamed up with journalist Kara Swisher for a new midterm-focused podcast series and has been making campaign appearances of her own.

The moves bring two of the Democratic Party's most recognizable figures into the midterm fight as the party grapples with competing visions for its future, raising questions about how much influence the Clintons still wield as progressive candidates challenge the Democratic establishment.

While the Clintons remain prominent in Democratic politics, one party strategist says Democrats are more focused on winning elections than revisiting the party's past.

"President Clinton remains one of the most gifted political communicators this country has ever known, particularly when it comes to connecting with working-class voters on the economic issues that matter most," said Democratic strategist Kevin Walling. "But I don’t believe that Democrats are looking for a Clinton restoration — they’re looking for a path back to winning."

Democratic strategist Mally Smith offered a more skeptical assessment of how much reach the Clintons have in the closing weeks of the election.

"Hillary and Bill are still relevant to some voters. However, they will mostly be useful in speaking to the Democratic base and those who are highly engaged in politics," Mally Smith. "It is a hard media environment to breakthrough and even current elected officials, let alone former office holders, will struggle to get people’s attention."

Clinton's Oct. 20 appearance will take place at an interfaith event in Hollywood, Florida, alongside Jolly, who is facing Republican Rep. Byron Donalds in the race to succeed term-limited Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Jolly is campaigning on affordability, including lowering property insurance costs through a state-backed catastrophe fund, expanding Medicaid, increasing funding for public schools and protecting abortion rights.

Hillary Clinton, meanwhile, traveled to Omaha, Nebraska, on Saturday to rally support for Democratic candidates Lynne Walz and Denise Powell at a "Pumpkins, Pies, and Politics" fundraiser.

Asked how she would address Democrats who feel their votes no longer matter, Clinton pointed to a series of national crises that have contributed to voter frustration – including her 2016 election loss.

"And you could kind of understand that, for people who feel like they've had a series of hard times. If you look back on the last 25 years in our country, I was a senator from New York on 9/11. That was a trauma. The terrible financial crisis of 2008 was horrific for people. We had an election in 2016 that, you know, raised a lot of questions that we're still trying to find answers for about what, what kind of really went on, and then we had COVID," she said during the Nebraska event.

Clinton teamed up with journalist and podcast host Kara Swisher for a six-week limited series titled "High Stakes," which debuted Oct. 14 and will air weekly through mid-November, focusing on the 2026 midterm elections, key congressional races and issues.

The first episode, which aired Wednesday, centered on rising costs for gas, groceries and healthcare, Elon Musk's political spending and how Democrats can make affordability a winning message, while also examining key Senate races in Michigan and Maine.

We have two games today in baseball, with both the American League Championship Series and the National League Championship Series taking place. It has been a bit of a bloodbath for me, with me believing too much in the Dodgers and not nearly enough in the Brewers. I did get a win in the Rays vs. Guardians Game 2. Their game starts pretty early today, but I'll share a play in both games.

Rays vs Guardians, Game 3

Tampa comes into this game after winning Game 2 and tying the series. They now have to face a Guardians team that is just 1-2 at home this postseason. They lost home-field advantage in Game 1, and now need to steal it back. Griffin Jax is going for the Rays, and he has been a mixed bag for the Rays this season. He has a 3.53 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP this year. In his one postseason outing, he went two innings and allowed just one earned run. He didn't face the Guardians this year, but he has held them to 14 hits in 61 at-bats. Jose Ramirez has been solid against him with five hits in 17 at-bats. Steven Kwan, on the other hand, has gone 0-for-10 with three strikeouts.

The Guardians broke out their bats in Game 1, but couldn't get anything going in Game 2. They had a chance to tie it up late, but they couldn't make it happen. They scored their only run on a Chase DeLauter double to right field. That hit brought the go-ahead run to the plate, but they couldn't knock in anyone else. Gavin Williams is getting the start here, and he is making his fourth appearance of the postseason. Williams is a power pitcher, and he was second in the Majors in strikeouts. In his three appearances this postseason, he struck out 24 hitters over 11.2 innings. He faced the Rays earlier this year and allowed five hits and one unearned run over 7.2 innings. He struck out nine hitters in that game.

Williams is a very good pitcher and has struck out a lot of batters this postseason. However, with the number of pitches he has thrown (210) this postseason and the amount of work he has had, I don't see him going deep into this game. I like under 6.5 strikeouts. The Rays only have 32 strikeouts this postseason in five playoff games. Those reasons combine to give me a play on Williams under 6.5.

Brewers vs Dodgers, Game 4

Los Angeles is on the verge of complete collapse. Last season, they swept the Brewers, and this season they look like Milwaukee will return the favor. What has to be most disheartening for Los Angeles is that they've scored first in two of three games and had a lead in each game. The Brewers see the Dodgers score, and instantly get their runs back, and then some more. The Dodgers have to find some hitting. They've been abysmal with runners in scoring position.

The Brewers haven't decided who will throw for them, but honestly, it doesn't matter because the Dodgers haven't hit anyone anyway. Tyler Glasnow will go for the Brewers, and against Atlanta, Glasnow went 4.2 innings and allowed one hit in the game. In the postseason, starters don't go very deep into games. Last night, Dave Roberts left Blake Snell in a bit too long, even though Snell was dealing. It cost the Dodgers the game.

I expect Roberts to have a quick hook and pull Glasnow early. I'm taking under 14.5 outs recorded from him. I'll also take a shot at William Contreras under 0.5 hits in the game. He has been hitting really well, but Glasnow has done great against him in the past.

DOJ touts hundreds of gun, drug arrests as St Louis surge operation ends: 'Violence is not inevitable'

The Department of Justice touted hundreds of arrests as part of its Operation Show Me Justice in St. Louis, Missouri, on Thursday.

Beginning in August, the operation included members of the U.S. Marshals Service, ATF, DEA and the St. Louis Police Department, all surging their efforts to target guns, drugs and other crimes in the city.

Acting Deputy Attorney General Trent McCotter announced the conclusion of the months-long operation alongside Sen. Eric Schmitt, R-Mo.

FBI ANNOUNCES 305 ARRESTS, 24 MISSING CHILDREN RECOVERED IN CHICAGO DURING OPERATION NEW DAWN

"Through Operation Show Me Justice, the teams have arrested 435 for drug crimes, firearm crimes, other crimes. That includes 412 outstanding warrant arrests. Most of these individuals already had outstanding warrants for arrest. Many of them had multiple," McCotter told reporters at a news conference on Thursday.

The operation also yielded 80 kilos of drugs, 166 illegal firearms, six machine gun conversion devices, and over $1 million in seized currency, McCotter said.

MINNEAPOLIS — Members of Minnesota's growing Somali community, including a city council member, tore into President Donald Trump and his administration when speaking with Fox News Digital after Monday's raid on Rep. Ilhan Omar's Washington, D.C., residence.

"Somalis — we all feel attacked by President Trump," Jamal Osman, the Somali-born Vice President of the Minneapolis City Council, said of the impact of the raid was carried out by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents.

"Our president has broken the law many time times. "ICE [is] terrorizing our community... and we're not surprised such action has taken place," Osman continued in reference to the search of Omar's home.

FEDERAL AGENTS RAID ILHAN OMAR’S DC HOME AMID IMMIGRATION FRAUD INVESTIGATION

"We have seen the threats, the horrific language he uses against my community. It's unacceptable and we're hoping this could stop," Osman said.

A 37-year-old social worker and Minneapolis resident named Abdi, who declined to give his last name or be interviewed on camera, had even harsher words for the president. He, like Osman, said he was born in Somalia.

"I feel like raiding a congresswoman — it feels like Donald Trump and his regime wanted to use their power to dehumanize and also humiliate someone that is part of the Congress," Abdi said.

He claimed that Trump "hates Somali people because of Ilhan Omar."

Abdi said Trump created "hate" and a "fight" with Somalis in America, and claimed that they are being followed and harassed in the streets because of the president.

"It's personal," he said. "And Ilhan Omar — he doesn't treat her as a congressmember — he treats her as someone who's below him."

Osman said the raid is proof of what the Trump administration is willing to do.

"We live in the United States, which is the land of the laws. I don't expect Trump or anyone in this matter to break the U.S. Constitution," he continued. "There's laws. He can, of course, threaten, but there's a court process, there's due process. He can't say he's gonna deport her, he's gonna deport me, thousands of Somalis."

Osman's message was to the president was simple: "Stop it."

"We're American citizens like everyone else," he said.

A third person, a 22-year-old Somali-American woman who declined to be named or filmed, told Fox News Digital that she wasn't surprised about the raid on Omar's home.

"I thought it was bound to happen soon enough," she said. "They've been talking about her in a negative manner. The government [has been] constantly questioning her immigration status and her naturalization in the country. So it was bound to happen for them to investigate her soon enough."

When reached about the comments from the Minneapolis Somali community, the White House pointed Fox News Digital to the president's public reaction to the raid on Monday.

"I’ve always found her to be totally crooked, personally, but that has nothing to do with me," Trump brushed off. "I think she’s a terrible person. Just a complainer. She comes from a country that is a non-country, and then she comes over here and she complains about our Constitution."

"I think she’s a terrible person, but that’s really up to the DOJ. I have nothing to do with it."

ILHAN OMAR’S HUSBAND INSISTS HE HAS ‘NO CONCERNS’ AMID FEDERAL IMMIGRATION INVESTIGATION

HSI, the principal investigative arm of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), executed a search warrant at Omar's home in the nation's capital early Monday morning, as first reported by Fox News Digital.

Sources confirmed to Fox News Digital that the raid stems from an investigation into whether Omar or her late father, Nur Mohamed, fraudulently filled out her citizenship paperwork decades ago. The investigation, the sources note, could lead to the congresswoman's denaturalization.

The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday that Omar's phone, passport and computers were seized in the raid — it is not clear which other items or materials were taken from her residence, if any.

Omar has not been seen since the raid, but offered her reaction to the unfolding investigation on social media Monday afternoon.

"This raid by Trump’s DHS is an outrageous abuse of power and an unprecedented escalation in the weaponization of federal law enforcement to target political enemies. Florida Democratic Senate candidate Angie Nixon said Wednesday she wants her Republican opponent, U.S. Sen. Ashley Moody, R-Fla., locked up and punished in jail.

"The fact remains that Ashley Moody is a lying, cheating, thieving, scamming person who basically took $10 million from sick kids for the Medicaid program. And she rerouted that into two political slush funds for Ron DeSantis to defeat two citizen-led ballot initiatives," Nixon told CNN host Kasie Hunt. "She also voted to end healthcare for over 440,000 people here in the state of Florida. And they are spreading, like, a lot of disinformation and lies on commercials about me, of saying things like, I want to abolish prisons and I want to defund the police."

The Democratic Senate candidate then said, "Why would I want to do that when I want her locked up and punished in jail for what she has done?"

"And so, we need to make sure that we are putting people in Washington, D.C., who actually have the back of hardworking everyday Floridians. I will be calling for a full-on investigation as it relates to what Ashley Moody and them have done. Yes, absolutely," Nixon added.

Moody's team did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

"Questions should be asked about why socialist extremist Angie Nixon wants to jail her political opponents, but is totally fine with freeing dangerous criminals. Plus, how does she plan to do this if she wants to abolish all prisons?" RNC spokeswoman Emma Hall told Fox News Digital about Nixon's remarks.

Police in Orlando, Florida, have arrested the ex-fiancé of Michelle Parker, the woman who disappeared in 2011 just hours after the pair’s dispute aired on "The People’s Court."

Dale Smith Jr., 55, was arrested on Wednesday by the Orlando Police Department on a charge of second-degree murder in the death of Parker. While her body hasn't been located, police said "all evidence leads to Dale Smith Jr. as the person responsible for Michelle's murder."

The arrest comes 15 years after Parker was last seen on Nov. 17, 2011, when she dropped her twins off with Smith.

Parker disappeared the same afternoon that a prerecorded episode of "The People’s Court" aired showing her and Smith settling a dispute over a $5,000 engagement ring.

In court, Parker said Smith "gets pretty malicious and vindictive," adding that "he said that he wanted his ring, so I took it off, and I threw it at him." Friends of the couple previously said the two had a tumultuous relationship.

Parker was reported missing after she failed to show up for work. When her brother, Dustin, texted to ask where she was, he immediately got a reply that read "Waterford." This alarmed family members who said that Parker would never respond with one-word texts.

Her abandoned Hummer was found several days later near an apartment complex west of the Mall at Millenia, and the decal promoting her airbrush-tanning business was removed from her car. Parker's iPhone was found by a dive team in a lake around four miles from her home.

Police considered Smith a prime suspect for years but lacked enough evidence to arrest him. Police said the break came after "years of investigative work and a renewed, focused effort over the past year," crediting an "expanded investigative team" that reexamined evidence and used advances in digital forensics.

Detective Phil McMickin said on Wednesday during a news conference that Smith was interviewed many times by police.

"The suspect was interviewed more than once, and since then has taken part in depositions related to this case, and very specific questions were asked of him numerous times over the years where he gave different answers to those same questions," McMickin said.

To say that the Arkansas Razorbacks will be tested during their non-conference slate as they begin the college hoops season would be an understatement. Now, just a few short weeks out from his team's season opener, head coach Jon Calipari wouldn't mind a do-over with the scheduling.

Speaking with the media at the SEC Basketball Tipoff event in Birmingham, AL, Calipari called the Hogs' schedule "ridiculous," but he didn't just leave it at that; he joked that he must've been "on crack" when finalizing his team's slate of games.

"That's part of my job, teaching them how to win, and how to play in tough games," Calipari explained, while speaking on his roster. "Our schedule is ridiculous. Why I opened the season with Virginia, I must have been on crack. Then you go Michigan State, what? Then you're going to go play in Phoenix, play Arizona. Indiana, way better than I thought, we're playing 'em in New York."

While Calipari made it sound like his team jumps right into the fire in game one of the season against Virginia, the Razorbacks open up the campaign against Arkansas Pine-Bluff on Nov. 3 before playing the Cavaliers in Washington, D.C.

Arkansas was picked to finish third in a loaded SEC in the preseason media poll, with Florida taking the top spot followed by Texas. Calipari's previous employer, Kentucky, was picked to finish seventh in the conference.

Pro wrestling is one of the toughest sports to compete in. There are thousands of wrestlers across the globe hoping to make a name for themselves and transform themselves from a no-name jobber into a star that is recognized by everyone.

Running a professional wrestling promotion and getting a show together is a totally different beast. Rising independent wrestler Dono Hefner is looking to tame that beast.

Hefner, 20, bills himself as the "most OverAF independent professional wrestler" on the scene right now. He will present Too Over To Care in Washington, D.C., on Feb. 27, 2027. In a recent interview with OutKick Dropkick, Hefner was already poking the bear in hopes of getting eyes on his event. His first target? Former WWE star JTG, (now known as Jay Tha Gawd) who he called "soft" and that he could "prove it anytime anywhere."

Name calling aside, Hefner said he’s looking forward to the challenge that running his own show brings.

"What made me want to start is that I like to challenge myself most of the time. I like to be under pressure," he said. "So, I figured like I'm already good at this wrestling stuff, right? Let's be honest here. So, I was like, ‘All right, you know what? Let's just take it up a notch.’ I'm going to run my own show and give everybody an opportunity that they don't get most of the time in the wrestling world because there's a lot of politics. I'm sure you know that. A lot of politics.

"People don't get the opportunities they believe they get. So, I'm really not just for me, but I'm really doing everyone a favor."

Hefner said one of the more difficult challenges he’s faced in trying to book the show was telling people, "no."

In a perfect world, Hefner hoped one independent legend would take his call.

"My dream match on the indies would be against Joey Janela," he said. "I feel like me and Joey could really do something and he could really put me over. You know what I mean? Like I'd get a lot of people talking about me after that match."

'Suspicious' mail with DSA-linked return address triggers FBI, Capitol Hill investigation

Senior Capitol Hill staff were warned that "multiple letters containing suspicious substances" were mailed out across the country and to multiple congressional offices on Thursday.

An email notice obtained by Fox News Digital sent to chiefs of staff, administrative managers and state directors said the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the FBI and U.S. Capitol Police were "investigating multiple letters containing suspicious substances that were mailed to various addresses nationwide, including multiple Congressional offices."

"Law enforcement officials are working to intercept any additional letters before they are delivered, however, it is possible that some letters may reach their destinations," the notice from the U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms read.

The notice was first reported by Punchbowl News.

An FBI spokesperson declined to confirm specific instances or letters, but said in a statement that, "The FBI and U.S. Postal Inspection Service are investigating a series of suspicious mailings sent to various addresses nationwide, including Secretary of State offices and their related election offices."

"Some of the letters contained an unknown substance, and we are working closely with our law enforcement partners to respond to each incident," the spokesperson said. "We are also working with our partners to identify the individual or individuals responsible for the letters. This FBI and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service will continue to safeguard the public and secure elections for American citizens."

It is unclear whether the DSA had any involvement in sending the letters. Fox News Digital reached out to the DSA for comment but has not heard back.

A representative for the organization told the New York Post that the DSA "has not occupied this office address since 2013."

"We are also no longer headquartered at 75 Maiden Lane," the rep said.

The notice warned that "all suspicious letters, packages, or substances should be treated as potentially hazardous."

A Florida man is facing charges after deputies say he shot his girlfriend and then proceeded to run her over with his vehicle while his child was in the car.

It happened after the couple allegedly got into an argument across the street from a bar in Safe Harbor, Florida.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said Christopher "Dodge" Smith, 40, is the man behind the attack.

Deputies named his girlfriend Jessica Antolini, 30, as the victim.

Responding to those numerous calls, deputies arrived on scene and later located Smith's SUV and tried to pull him over.

During an appearance on "The Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg Show," Richards got candid about the financial toll of her marriage to Phypers, claiming she unknowingly paid the salary and severance of a woman he was allegedly having an affair with.

"A woman he was having an affair with at his work, an employee. I paid her payroll, her severance," Richards said during the Oct. 13 episode. "I don't know how she looked me in the face."

The latest allegations come nearly a year after Richards was granted a five-year restraining order against Phypers following a contentious court battle involving accusations of physical and emotional abuse.

Richards was granted the permanent restraining order on Nov. 7, 2025, after accusing Phypers of abuse. The order is set to expire Nov. 7, 2030.

Phypers was arrested in court in October 2025 on spousal abuse charges stemming from two separate incidents in 2017 and 2022, according to documents obtained by Fox News Digital.

In his first televised interview since Lindsay Clancy's mistrial last month, lone holdout juror Michael Desronvil told Fox News' Kayleigh McEnany that he stands by his decision not to compromise with 11 others who wanted her to be found not criminally responsible for strangling her three young children.

He said he hadn't heard of the case before jury selection and didn't realize how big it would become. He revealed his favorite Bible quote, Psalm 1, which may have prepared him for the ordeal, repeatedly urged the public to focus on the kids and not other aspects of the case.

"I call them the Three Angels," he said of the victims.

Reddington has asked for Desronvil's phone records between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on each deliberation day.

Holdout juror accuses journalists of going through his mail, peering into windows

Desronvil told McEnany the day after the trial ended, he already saw journalists at his home — including some who snooped through his mail.

"We have surveillance cameras, and then we have actual footage of them going through our mail, and then going through the back door, the front door, peeking through the windows," he said. "So we have proof of that."

While the ordeal has been scary enough for police to escort his fiancée to and from his home, he said, he has not received "physical threats."

Desronvil denies lying under oath

Before Clancy's mistrial had been declared, Reddington in court accused the holdout juror of lying under oath, a claim Desronvil denied outright.

"I answered everything truthfully," he said.

Reddington has nevertheless filed a motion seeking an investigation into Desronvil, past domestic violence allegations, probation records and his juror questionnaire, while publicly trying to rebrand the holdout as "the obstructionist."

'Surreal' 911 call played for jurors behind closed doors

While the public hasn't heard Patrick Clancy's 911 call placed moments after he returned home to find his three children dead and his then-wife seriously injured from a failed suicide attempt, it left an impact on Desronvil, he said.

"Hearing the pain in his voice, hearing the desperation from that clip — it was surreal," he said.

That was one of the strongest pieces of evidence. However, he said, the prosecution's case convinced him that Clancy had methodically and logically planned the "execution" of her children, rejecting defense arguments that she was not criminally responsible due to postpartum psychosis.

"That was really big for me, you know, from watching the video and also listening in the courtroom," he said. "The thought process that goes behind … to fulfill the commitment of doing that."

‘Big Condiment’ warning gets Warren roasted online over progressive's economic priorities

A post made by Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., this week quickly became a punchline online after she warned that a proposed $45 billion deal bringing some of America’s best-known condiment and food brands under one roof could drive up grocery prices even further.

The merger would combine McCormick brands such as Cholula and Frank’s RedHot with Unilever Foods products including Hellmann’s and Knorr. Warren argues the deal could weaken competition and leave shoppers with fewer choices.

Users online joked about Warren cautioning against "Big Condiment."

"One company could soon control them all," Warren said of four popular condiments. "I have concerns that McCormick and Unilever's $45 billion merger could increase YOUR grocery prices."

The post drew jokes from users who argued that housing, infrastructure and the national debt are bigger concerns than a potential rise in the prices of condiments.

"Yes, a simultaneous increase in the prices of (checks notes) mayo and (checks notes again) hot sauce could bring the country to its knees," one user on X wrote.

"The only thing raising my grocery prices is federal deficit and the resulting inflation you all seem to be ok with," another added.

Venture capitalist Hank Medina sarcastically posted to his X account with 1.7 million followers, "The United States will crumble if big mayo merges with big hot sauce. SOUND THE ALARM FOLKS!!! We have no other condiment alternatives if this happens."

But the real impact of a food merger is no laughing matter.

Consumer prices rose 3.7% in September from a year earlier, accelerating from 3.4% in August, according to the latest Bureau of Labor Statistics report. Prices climbed 0.6% in September alone, underscoring the persistent affordability pressures facing American households just weeks before the midterm elections.

Narrowing in on grocery prices, they rose 1.8% from a year ago but dipped 0.1% in September, while overall food prices were up 2.5% annually.

With an affordability crisis plaguing the U.S. heading into the midterms, any threat of further impacts on Americans' pocketbooks is worth noting ahead of Election Day.

Meanwhile, Warren has launched a broader campaign to challenge food-industry consolidation — not just against the recent condiment merger proposal.

The evangelical leader shared the memory, which he attributed to his mother, during an interview on Sean Hannity's podcast, "Hang Out with Sean Hannity," describing how his father's extended travels sometimes kept him away from home for months at a time.

Graham explained that the trip took place before jet aircraft became commonplace, when reaching Australia required multiple stops which drew out the experience along the way, including lengthy layovers in Hawaii and Fiji.

"You would fly to Hawaii, then you'd stay a couple of days, then you'd fly to Fiji and stay a couple days, and then you're going down to Sydney or Melbourne or wherever you're going," he recalled.

"But my father spent all that time in Australia, and so when he came home ... we [his children] just didn't recognize him," he added.

Graham said the incident "hurt" his father, whose evangelistic endeavors remained a cornerstone of his life's work. The world-renowned reverend, who spent decades traveling the globe to preach the Gospel, became one of the most influential figures of the 20th century, reaching millions through his evangelistic crusades, television broadcasts and other outreach efforts.

It has been four months since Folarin Balogun's suspension from a red card was lifted in controversial fashion, and its effects remain ongoing.

In the United States Men's National Team's Round of 32 World Cup match against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Balogun, the USMNT's best player in the tournament at that point, was given a questionable red card, automatically suspending him for the next game against Belgium.

The day before the match, though, Balogun was ruled eligible to play in the game. Ultimately, it didn't matter, as the U.S. lost, 4-1.

President Donald Trump admitted to calling FIFA president Gianni Infantino to ask for a review of the red card. Infantino and Trump have grown a relationship, which critics say is a conflict of interest.

Well, reports say that FIFA is set to amend the rules that prohibit red-card suspensions during a large meeting on Thursday.

Infantino, eight vice presidents and 28 other members will meet for the first time since the World Cup, and that's hardly the only controversy surrounding Infantino and FIFA.

Balogun admitted to CBS he "could almost see within my teammates a bit of nerves" as the controversy brewed further.

"All I did was I asked for a review because I didn’t think it was a foul," Trump said. "And, again, I’m good at this stuff. I didn’t think it was a foul. I thought it was two great athletes who crashed into each other and got entangled. That was not a guy punching somebody in the face or anything, that would be different.

"I think it’s a terrible … if they wouldn’t allow a top player, maybe the best, maybe among the best on the team, to play, I think it would have had a big stain. I relayed it. I didn’t tell him what to do. I don’t believe he made the decision. I think it was a committee that made the decision, and they made the right decision because, No. 1, it wasn’t a foul, and you want to see a game with your best players."

Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton revisited the video showing her appearing to stagger and nearly faint after a 9/11 commemoration ceremony in 2016, conceding on Wednesday that campaigning while having pneumonia was a "mistake."

The former secretary of state spoke to Kara Swisher on their new joint podcast about Texas Democratic Senate nominee James Talarico's nine-day absence from the campaign trail after he said he contracted the flu.

His absence from public appearances led to a viral online rumor wrongly alleging that he had secretly been admitted to an Ohio mental health facility, which Clinton and Swisher said was "easily disproven."

Clinton compared Talarico's experience to her own after the 2016 video went viral as she ran for president, arguing that critics portrayed her as being "on death's door." "They tested me and they said, 'Oh, you've got pneumonia. You need to take like five or six days off.' I said, 'I can't do that.' And my doctor said, 'Well, that's what you should do.' And I thought, 'Well, yeah, that's what I should do.' But I'm campaigning and I have to show up on 9/11 because it means a lot to me since, as you know, I was a senator [during the attacks]. So, I kept going, which was a mistake," Clinton recalled.

Fox News Digital reached out to Clinton's team for comment.

White House spokesman Davis Ingle said Clinton should think about moving on from the 2016 election.

According to a law enforcement source at the time, Clinton was described as "clearly having some type of medical episode" as she appeared to fall on her way to a van and required help from security. Clinton's campaign later released a statement confirming that she was fighting pneumonia and "felt overheated" at the time.

FIRST ON FOX: A new White House economic report warns that immigration policies backed by the Democratic Socialists of America could cost American taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars over the next decade, as the Trump administration sounds the alarm over the potential financial consequences of mass amnesty and expanded federal benefits.

As President Donald Trump touts 16 consecutive months without illegal immigrant releases at the southern border, a Council of Economic Advisers report estimates that mass amnesty and expanded federal benefits under Democratic Socialists of America-backed immigration policies could cost taxpayers between $440 billion and $613 billion over the next decade.

Socialist-aligned candidates have gained ground in 2026, winning key Democratic primaries and expanding their influence within the party.

"President Trump … supercharged ICE to remove criminal illegal aliens from our communities, including murderers, rapists, pedophiles, gang members and terrorists," White House spokeswoman Lauren Bis told Fox News Digital.

The council estimates that the average illegal immigrant carries a lifetime net fiscal cost of $166,716, with the current illegal immigrant population projected to account for between $1.4 trillion and $1.9 trillion in taxpayer costs under its model — figures the administration is highlighting as the "true costs of extreme open borders [and] mass-amnesty socialist policies."

CALIFORNIA FACES UNLIKELY TAX REVOLT AMID BILLIONS IN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT HEALTHCARE COSTS

The CEA's estimated $166,716 lifetime taxpayer cost per illegal immigrant exceeds the roughly $124,000 it would cost to put a student through four years at an average in-state public university, including tuition, housing, food and other expenses, according to College Board's 2025–26 figures — putting the figure in perspective as American families also grapple with college affordability.

The Council added that while illegal immigrants are generally prohibited from federal benefit programs, some on the left want to reverse that standard and provide subsidized healthcare and programs like food stamps to those in the country unlawfully.

SHOCKING PERCENTAGE OF DEMOCRATS IDENTIFY AS 'DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISTS' ACCORDING TO NEW POLL: 'TOXIC POLICIES'

Beyond expanded federal benefits, the council estimates that ending Trump-backed immigration enforcement measures would wipe out between $227 billion and $287 billion in projected taxpayer savings, producing a net estimated cost of $79 billion to $139 billion over the next decade after accounting for reduced enforcement spending.

An interactive White House webpage released alongside the report allows Americans to explore the projected costs of "socialism" across several policy areas, with the council estimating that the Democratic Socialists of America's broader agenda could cost $49 trillion over ten years — roughly $355,000 per American household. That sweeping projection extends far beyond immigration, which the council separately estimates could cost between $440 billion and $613 billion over the next decade.

If the immigration policies examined in the report were implemented, the White House estimates that expanded eligibility for SNAP, federal housing assistance and Medicaid would add between $361 billion and $475 billion in federal spending over the next decade.

The report estimated that expanding federal benefits under the proposed immigration policies would add $3.6 billion to $4.7 billion in annual food stamp costs, another $2.3 billion to $3 billion in federal housing assistance, and as much as $40 billion a year in additional Medicaid spending.

The administration also highlighted another key aspect of the immigration-cost paradigm that it changed — remarking that Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for certain foreign-national groups "returned … to its original purpose: temporary."

"Let's get the facts straight, the facts are that diesel is, the facts are that diesel prices have gone up, there is no question about it. Why has it gone up? Because the Democrats have environmental regulations..." Harris said before he was interrupted by a woman laughing in the audience.

"Ma'am, I gotta tell you. This is the problem, you all say you believe there is a First Amendment, but only if you agree with you," Harris told the crowd. "You should let me finish the sentence, ma'am. You are rude. You're rude, OK?"

Apple's $299 HomeView recognizes who's standing in front of it

The biggest announcement from Apple's "Welcome Home" event is HomeView, a new 7-inch touchscreen that doubles as a smart home control center. It sits on a rounded speaker base and comes in four colors. Apple also offers a wall-mounted version for people who would rather keep their countertops clear. Here's where things get interesting. HomeView can recognize up to six household members by their faces. Walk up to the screen, and it can switch to your personalized home screen with your calendar and reminders. Another family member can approach and see their own information instead. Initial setup and support for multiple household members require a compatible iPhone or iPad running the latest software, although general Siri AI conversations don't require that device to support Apple Intelligence.

Apple says personal information stays protected through facial recognition and checks involving a paired iPhone or iPad. To display sensitive content, the system requires the recognized person's paired device to be nearby and recently unlocked. That adds an important layer of security, especially in homes where several people share the same screen. Beyond the personalized experience, HomeView handles FaceTime video calls with Center Stage, which keeps you in the frame as you move around. It can display recipes while you're cooking or help locate a missing iPhone using Find My. You can also control compatible smart home equipment without opening another app.

One feature caught my attention. HomeView can display up to nine live security camera feeds simultaneously. You could check a package delivery or see what's happening in the backyard without pulling out your phone. Both HomeView models cost $299. Preorders opened Oct. 13, with availability beginning Nov. 13. However, the wall-mounted version requires a separate mounting accessory, starting at $59.95.

Siri AI wants to become the assistant you've been waiting for

For years, Siri has been useful for simple requests, but longer conversations haven't always gone smoothly. Apple's new Siri AI is designed to change that. It can handle more natural conversations, understand what's displayed on a screen and answer broader questions using information from the web. For example, you could ask Siri to find a recipe someone emailed you or locate a song a friend recommended in a message. With the right device connected, Siri can search relevant personal information and help complete those requests. Apple also says conversations started on HomeView can continue in the Siri app on other compatible Apple devices.

However, there's an important compatibility requirement. HomeView can provide general Siri AI conversations without an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone or iPad. More personalized features require a paired, compatible device running current software with Siri AI enabled. Siri AI on HomeView is also launching in beta. In addition, Apple says certain AI features that use server-based models will have daily usage limits. The company plans to offer expanded access for a fee in the future.

HomePod mini 2 gets better sound, but Siri AI comes later

Apple's HomePod mini 2 is getting its first major refresh. The compact speaker now costs $149 and comes in five colors, including pink and green. Inside, Apple added an S10 chip that processes audio in real time to improve sound performance. There's also a new feature called Sound Glow. The bigger story is what happens when Siri AI arrives. Apple says the speaker will eventually support more natural conversations and personalized requests when paired with a compatible Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone. It can also recognize different household members by their voices. However, Siri AI won't be available when HomePod mini 2 first ships. Apple says it will arrive through a future software update. That's a pretty important detail if the smarter assistant is your main reason for upgrading. HomePod mini 2 is available for preorder now and goes on sale October 30.

Apple TV 4K finally lets you talk without grabbing the remote

Apple also introduced a new Apple TV 4K, and one of its most useful features has nothing to do with picture quality. The fourth-generation streaming box includes three microphones that can hear Siri requests from across the room. That means you can search for a show or ask a question about what you're watching without reaching for the remote. Siri AI can also handle follow-up questions, such as asking where a program was filmed.

The new Apple TV 4K runs on Apple's A19 chip, which the company says delivers up to 50% faster CPU performance than the previous generation. It also supports a four-speaker surround sound setup using compatible HomePod speakers arranged in matching front and rear pairs. And there's one improvement I think plenty of people will appreciate. The newest Siri Remote can play a sound to help you locate it. It also supports Precision Finding with certain compatible iPhones. That's helpful when the remote disappears somewhere in the couch.

The new Apple TV 4K costs $299 and arrives November 13. However, you may not need to buy one to try Siri AI. Apple says the assistant is also available in beta on second-generation Apple TV 4K models and later. To use it, you or the person managing your Apple Home will need a compatible Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone or iPad running the latest software with Siri AI turned on.

Apple's new smart home collection could make life easier

Apple is also making a bigger push into the connected home with Apple Home Collection. The company worked with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric to develop cameras, smart locks and thermostats that connect directly through Apple's Home app. The LG Smart Deadbolt Lock is particularly interesting. It uses Ultra Wideband technology to recognize when someone approaches with a compatible iPhone or Apple Watch carrying a home key. The door can then unlock automatically without requiring a tap. You can also use a PIN or backup key. The lock starts at $349.95.

Apple also introduced an LG video doorbell with two cameras. One captures visitors while the other helps monitor packages left near the doorstep. It starts at $249.95. Meanwhile, an indoor camera starting at $199.95 can automatically tilt down to stop monitoring when a household member returns home. For temperature control, LG and Schneider Electric are offering smart thermostats starting at $199.95. Using Apple's Home app, supported systems can adjust heating and cooling based on whether someone is home. In eligible locations, they can also respond to electricity rates to help manage energy costs. One convenience I like is that these accessories work directly through Apple's Home app. You don't need to create separate manufacturer accounts or download additional apps to manage them. Apple says the collection will start arriving in December, with certain products following in early 2027.

What happens to your privacy when Siri moves into your house?

This is the part of Apple's announcement that deserves a closer look. A screen that recognizes your face can be convenient, especially when several people share a home. But what happens when that same system connects to your security cameras and personal information? Apple says HomeView uses protected processing environments called Secure Exclaves to isolate camera and microphone data from the rest of the system. Separately, HomeView checks that it recognizes the user's face and that their paired iPhone or iPad is present and has been recently unlocked before displaying personal information. Siri requests can run directly on the device or use Apple's Private Cloud Compute technology. Apple says data processed through Private Cloud Compute is neither stored nor accessible to the company.

For compatible security cameras, Apple also supports end-to-end encrypted HomeKit Secure Video storage. Certain AI video summaries and recording features require an eligible iCloud+ subscription. Those safeguards are encouraging. Still, I would want to understand exactly which household members can access the system before setting everything up. What this means to you

Apple's latest announcements could make managing a connected home easier, especially for households that already rely on iPhones. HomeView gives you a shared control center, while the upgraded Siri could make everyday requests feel more natural. However, the cost adds up quickly. HomeView starts at $299, and the new Apple TV 4K costs another $299. Add compatible cameras or a smart lock, and you're spending considerably more. Some camera features also require an iCloud+ subscription.

There's also the question of how much of this technology you actually need. If you already have a smart speaker that controls your lights and a television that streams your favorite shows, Apple's latest hardware may offer more convenience than you need. I'd start by checking which Apple devices you already own and whether they'll support the new Siri features. Then think about which upgrades would actually make your day easier. After all, spending hundreds of dollars to save a few taps on your phone deserves a little consideration.

Apple wants a bigger role in our homes, and I can see the appeal. I like the idea of asking Siri a question without having to repeat myself or reaching for my phone every time I want to control something. And for families juggling different schedules, a smart display that recognizes who's using it could be genuinely helpful. But I'm still not convinced everyone needs another screen in the house. Will Siri AI finally be as smart and helpful as Apple promises? And how comfortable should we feel giving an AI assistant access to our personal information and home security cameras? Apple has outlined some strong privacy protections, but I'd want to know exactly what information these devices collect and who can access it. For now, I'd be selective. If your current devices work well, there's no reason to rush out and replace them. HomeView has some interesting possibilities, but at $299, I'd want it to make my day easier in a meaningful way. The real test will be how well all these products work together once they're in our homes.

Seahawks vs. Broncos Thursday Night Football betting pick focuses on the under in first half

I have finally gotten back on track with football betting over the past couple of weeks. It was a really bad start to the season, but I'm slowly climbing myself out of the hole I got myself in. Now, I've got to try to keep winning for the next 12 weeks of football. That doesn't mention trying to get everything done for the playoffs as well. There is a long way to go, but it starts tonight with the Seahawks taking on the Broncos on Thursday Night Football.

The Seattle Seahawks come into this game with a 3-2 record, and they are 1-1 on the road this season. The first road game was against Washington, and they lost, even though Marcus Mariota was the starting quarterback. That isn't intended to be a shot at Mariota, it is more a reflection of how Seattle played. The Seahawks did come home to rebound and beat the Chargers, but last week they had the toughest game on their schedule to date, hosting the 49ers. Last season, the Seahawks ended San Francisco's year and knocked them out of the playoffs. This year, the 49ers won 32-29.

Seattle has been a bit shaky to start the season. Sam Darnold was hurt in the first game, but he has been back for the other four games. Unfortunately for the Seahawks, it seems like Darnold has taken a bit of a step back. Darnold has 755 passing yards and has thrown for seven touchdowns and five interceptions. Six of his seven touchdown passes have gone to Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and so have the majority of his passing yards. The Broncos normally have the corners that can keep Smith-Njigba from going off. However, Pat Surtain is injured.

The Denver Broncos are also 3-2 for the season, having won both of their home games and going 1-2 on the road. They lost to the Chiefs in the season opener. They then ran off two straight wins over the Jaguars and Rams. The win over Los Angeles was one of the more impressive of the season. The Rams were ahead of the Broncos for much of the game before Denver came roaring back and won the game 30-26. In Week 4, the Broncos traveled to San Francisco and lost 24-14.

Last week, the Broncos defeated the Chargers 23-17 in Los Angeles. The Chargers are one of the biggest disappointments in football and are now 0-5 to begin the year. The Rams might be the other big disappointment, dropping to 2-3 after a loss to the Bills last week. So the lone "good" win for the Broncos came against the Jaguars. Perhaps all Denver needs is to be at home. However, in terms of yards allowed, the Seahawks have the best defense in football. If Denver can't get the ground game going, expectations should be low for its success tonight.

This is a matchup we could've gotten in the Super Bowl last season, but Bo Nix got injured and the Broncos couldn't overcome the Patriots. The Seahawks went on to win the championship. Seattle still has a strong defense, and I think the Broncos can combat the Seahawks' passing game. Both teams tend to start slow. I'm going to back the under 20.5 in the first half of this game.
