James Carville blames Bernie Sanders for Trump being president in fiery rant

Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville condemned the rising wave of Democratic socialists on Friday, warning that politicians like Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., helped pave the way for the rise of politicians like President Donald Trump.

After having condemned far-left ideology for past defeats, Carville has been sounding the alarm once again as a wave of Democratic socialists have won their primaries in Democratic Party strongholds, prompting him to propose a schism within the party to keep from gaining influence.

"The most catastrophic political event of this century, I think," Carville suggested, "was the election of 2016."

"How did Trump win? I'll tell you how. Because god---n Bernie Sanders is the reason that Donald Trump is president. You hear me? Listen to me. I'm telling you the truth," Carville said. "So he runs the whole time against Hillary on the dreaded massive income growth, the dreaded reality that we're dealing with in foreign policy, the massive knowledge of knowing what the hell goes on in the world. But no, we got to blow the whole god---n thing up again."

He argued that Sanders prevented Hillary Clinton's electoral victory by "telling working people and people all over Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, places like that, that somehow or another, it was corporatist America. ‘The Democrats are a corporatist party,’ ‘They’re co-opted,’ that ‘there's no difference between the establishment Democrats and the establishment Republicans.’ Are you kidding me?"

"Then we come to massive criminality," Carville continued. "We come to trillions of dollars in added debts. We have a jackass war to run. ‘But it's the Democrats' fault! It's the corporate Democrats!’" he said, mocking the rhetoric of far-left, anti-establishment Democrats. "’It's all because the Democrats listen to Al Gore5’ or some s--- like that."

"These people are so f---ing stupid, I don't know what to say about," he added. "So now we have this idea that these insurgent Democrats — and what is their solution? Is their solution to beat Republicans, to run against Republicans?" he asked. "No! Their solution is to beat Democrats, like they're part of the problem. No! You are part of the problem because you're a f---ing idiot, and you just believe that pablum nonsense that drifts around the left wing I don't know whatever sphere, blogosphere, atmosphere, fart-sphere whatever sphere they got."

"I can't go back and correct everything these goddamn idiots say," Carville said. "But what I can do is tell you, don't fall for the allure of false prophets. And all these people — go beat a Republican, then come back and I will respect you. Until you do that, I have nothing but contempt for you."

He argued that there has been a fundamental shift in many Democrats’ mindset in recent years.

"And somehow or another, among Democrats, something became more important than winning elections. And that became, ‘Oh, I want to feel superior to people. I want to say things that make me sound like I am part of the cool kids."

"You're taking the country into the ditch," he warned. "Into the ditch. That’s what you’re doing."

"Every evil moment or s----y moment that has enjoyed success has also had useful idiots. That is collaborators. That's right. That's what you are. Useful idiots," he said. "Collaborators who are trying to convince people that it's a systemic problem caused by both parties when, in fact, it's 97-to-3 by one party. And in this century, if it wouldn't be for the Democratic left wing, we might not have even had a Republican president. We sure wouldn't have had one in 2000, and we sure wouldn't have had one in 2016."

"I am a proud liberal. I am not a leftist," he concluded, encouraging Democrats frustrated with the state of modern America to "blame the left wing of the Democratic Party for the catastrophe that we're facing right now. Because as much as any group, it's their fault. Thank you."

United passenger says crew ordered him to change controversial T-shirt before he could travel

A New Jersey man says he was forced to change an anti-war T-shirt before boarding a United Airlines flight after a flight attendant deemed the message offensive.

Sam Saadeh, of Linden, New Jersey, said he was boarding a June 4 flight from Atlanta to Newark Liberty International Airport while wearing a shirt reading, "Bombing kids is not self defense," when a United supervisor approached him shortly after he took his seat, according to CBS New York.

Saadeh told the outlet he was "very confused" when he was pulled aside.

"He was like, 'Hey, the flight attendant finds your shirt offensive,'" Saadeh recalled. "I was like, 'Why?' He goes, 'Here are the choices. Either you change your shirt or you can't get on this flight.'"

According to CBS New York, Saadeh said he ultimately changed shirts because he wanted to make it home but described the interaction as humiliating and said airline personnel were unable to explain why the message violated company policy.

United Airlines confirmed to Fox News Digital that Saadeh ultimately traveled on the flight after changing his shirt.

"This customer flew as scheduled after changing his shirt," a United Media Relations spokesperson told Fox News Digital. "That's all we'll have to share."

United's Contract of Carriage states the airline may refuse transportation to passengers who are "not properly clothed, or whose clothing is lewd, obscene or offensive."

Fox News Digital has not independently verified the passenger's account, and United declined to provide additional details about why the shirt was deemed offensive.

Saadeh, who is of Palestinian descent, told CBS New York the shirt was intended to advocate for children and oppose violence regardless of nationality or ethnicity. He also said he filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Transportation and is consulting with attorneys.

Wear the Peace, the organization behind the shirt, also posted screenshots on Facebook of what it said was an email Saadeh sent describing the incident.

In the email, Saadeh wrote that a United flight attendant first asked what his shirt said before a supervisor later asked him to get off the plane.

According to the email, the supervisor told Saadeh the flight attendant was offended by the shirt because it contained the word "bomb" and said he would have to change it or he would not be allowed to remain on the flight.

Saadeh also wrote that after landing in Newark, a United representative told him other passengers had complained because they found the shirt offensive and felt unsafe.

In a Facebook post, Wear the Peace said the shirt was "a peaceful statement, not a threat" intended to draw attention to the deaths of children in Gaza.

"The message does not encourage violence, threaten anyone, or suggest that the person wearing it intends to harm others," the organization wrote.

In a follow-up Facebook post, the organization disputed the explanation that the word "bomb" prompted concern, arguing there was an important distinction between the phrase "Bombing kids is not self defense" and language suggesting a passenger posed a threat.

"The shirt did not say, 'I have a bomb.' It said, 'Bombing kids is not self defense,'" the organization wrote, adding that clothing containing words such as "TNT" or "killer" is not typically treated as a security concern.

Wear the Peace also claimed one of its members recently flew on a United flight alongside a passenger wearing an Israel Defense Forces shirt without incident, arguing the airline applied its policy inconsistently.

Americans traveling to Saint Lucia are facing a new warning from the U.S. State Department after officials raised concerns about violent crime on the Caribbean island.

The department recently elevated Saint Lucia's advisory to Level 2, "Exercise Increased Caution," adding a new "crime" indicator to the warning.

Known for its volcanic Pitons, luxury resorts and tropical beaches, Saint Lucia attracts visitors from around the world each year.

US UPDATES TRAVEL WARNING FOR QUAKE-HIT NATION, CITING DISASTER RISKS AND VIOLENT CRIME

The updated advisory warns that violent crime can occur anywhere on the island and says U.S. citizens and other foreign visitors have been victims of armed robbery, assault, burglary and rape.

"In some cases, U.S. citizens have been killed," the advisory states.

The State Department also noted that violent crime has affected guests staying at tourist resorts and warned that police response times "are not as fast as in the United States."

Beyond violent crime, officials said petty theft remains common, particularly in popular tourist areas.

"Most crimes against foreigners are crimes of opportunity, like purse snatching and pickpocketing," the State Department said in its advisory.

The State Department recommends staying aware of one's surroundings, avoiding displays of wealth, using caution when walking or driving at night — and not physically resisting if confronted during a robbery.

Officials also advise travelers to carefully check their luggage for firearms or loose ammunition before departing for Saint Lucia and to familiarize themselves with local laws and customs before arriving.

France, which fell to Argentina in the World Cup Final four years ago, is looking to reach its third straight final after doing so in 2018, a win over Croatia, and in 2022. And head coach Didier Deschamps knows he has the team to beat someone like Spain.

Led by Golden Boot frontrunner Kylian Mbappé, France has been showing why many believe them to be the favorite even before the tournament began. Here is the real reason why they hate Caitlin Clark so much | Bobby Burack

In a discussion late Friday night on CNN, a panel debated why many WNBA players appear to resent Caitlin Clark. Former ESPN host Cari Champion didn't offer an explanation. Instead, she argued that anyone who suggests race is a factor is disrespecting Black women.

"To suggest that it is intentional or that people are being racist towards her leaves out a long history of women who have supported this league and started this league who were Black. It's very disrespectful to them," Champion told the panel.

OK, then.

But why do so many WNBA players, particularly Black players, display such obvious — and at times physical — hostility toward Clark?

Is it simply because she is a straight White woman in a league that is roughly 70% Black or LGBTQ+?

In part, yes. But her identity alone isn't the issue. There's more to it.

The problem, for many around the league, is that Clark refuses to play the role expected of her. She is a straight White woman who has declined to turn herself into a vehicle for the racial and sexual activism that increasingly defines the league's public image.

That's an important distinction.

The identity left, if you will, doesn't reject all White people. Many would gladly vote for California Gov. Gavin Newsom for president. They adored Sarah Spain throughout her years covering the WNBA. What they reject is the wrong kind of White person.

Most White players in the WNBA have understood the assignment.

Cameron Brink is White, blonde, engaged to a man, and looks like a supermodel. She was drafted one pick after Clark in 2024. The WNBA establishment practically reveres her.

Of course it does.

From the beginning of her career, Brink has followed the script. Before playing a single WNBA game, she volunteered an acknowledgment of her privilege.

"I could go way deeper into this, but I would just say growing the fan base to support all types of players. I will acknowledge there's a privilege for the younger White players of the league," Brink said. "That's not always true, but there is a privilege that we have inherently, and the privilege of appearing feminine."

Then, in May, she emphasized that privilege once again.

"I've tried to be vocal about this and acknowledge there's such a privilege, marketing-wise, being White and blonde," Brink told Interview magazine. "It does really bother me seeing athletes and players who are consistently putting up crazy stat lines and not being rewarded by brands."

Paige Bueckers occupies a similar space.

She is often presented as Clark's counterpart by the sports media, yet there is little visible resentment toward her from either players or the media. Over the weekend, Bueckers expressed concern about the racial makeup of WNBA coaching staffs.

"[The WNBA] was built on a lot of Black women," Bueckers said, via Yahoo Sports. "It's definitely right for them to get the same equal opportunity as everybody else."

Bueckers' remarks were hardly courageous or groundbreaking. Yet Black Twitter spent Monday celebrating them.

ESPN'S COVERAGE OF CAITLIN CLARK IS A RACIALLY CHARGED, DISHONEST, AND EMBARRASSING MESS | BOBBY BURACK

To better understand these dynamics, think back to the use of the term "anti-racism" in 2020. Authors Robin DiAngelo and Ibram X. Kendi, along with sports analyst Emmanuel Acho, argued there was a critical distinction between being "anti-racist" and merely "not racist." They argued that simply refraining from racism wasn't enough.

For White people, the implication was obvious. It was no longer enough not to be racist. You had to prove you weren't. You had to begin actively fighting against racism.

Former ESPN host Bomani Jones articulated that mindset in 2023, suggesting White people could be presumed racially biased until proven otherwise.

"Let's be fair. White people aren't always racially biased, but you can never be 100% sure," Jones said.

Viewed through that lens, the acceptance of Brink and Bueckers makes more sense. Both have repeatedly signaled they are, in fact, anti-racists.

Caitlin Clark has chosen a different path. She's a basketball player. That's all she's ever claimed to be. She never volunteered to become a symbol in America's culture war. She never volunteered to spend press conferences validating racial activists or apologizing for her own success.

Simply put, Clark is normal. She doesn't feel an obligation to tell the world she isn't a racist or a homophobe. Most sane people don't.

Further, Clark is the first White American sports superstar of post-George Floyd America. That makes her villainous status even harder to shed, as many players and media members seemingly wear their bigotry toward her as a badge of honor.

Combine that with the narrative ingrained in many players that her race and gender are the reasons for her fame. Racial idolaters like Jemele Hill have made sure players continue to hear that message and believe it.

"We would all be very naive if we didn't say race and her sexuality played a role in her popularity," Hill told the Los Angeles Times in 2024.

Statements like that help explain why a player can drive her fist into Clark's neck, and reporters instinctively rush to defend the player who threw the punch instead of the player who took it.

Caitlin Clark has so much White privilege that it's her responsibility to defend the women trying to injure her.

Perhaps they eventually browbeat her with false narratives into becoming a spokesperson for the BLM and LGBT agendas. Unfortunately, it's hard to envision any other alternative.

The Black players and media are not going to accept her otherwise. They have shown they'd rather excuse the most egregious behavior directed at Clark than admit they are the ones enjoying the privilege.

The drama surrounding Caitlin Clark has never been difficult to understand. A straight White girl from Iowa transcended the game of women's basketball. She put the sport on the map.

Yet, the players have made clear they'd rather remain stuck in obscurity than ride the wave created by a White player more concerned with basketball than the grievance-based social messaging.

And that's why they hate her.

Bill Maher rips Buzzfeed, HuffPost to owner's face, says outlets are full of indoctrinated 'nepo babies'

Comedian Bill Maher tore into BuzzFeed and HuffPost on his podcast "Club Random" on Monday during an interview with Byron Allen, who owns both publications, calling them "peak woke."

Allen said he recently purchased BuzzFeed and noted he owns HuffPost as well.

"All these places have been horrible to me," Maher said, naming HuffPost specifically. "Once Arianna [Huffington] left and it became like the most woke."

"That's what I hate about the left. The purity. And that's what HuffPost, I'm like — I'm worse than like the Republicans because I'm not pure with their — and a lot of what they believe, of course, is silly, insane revolutionary, garbage from people who don't know facts or history or perspective. But that's okay. I don't have grudges against, I don't even read it," he said.

He then said both HuffPost and BuzzFeed were full of millennial nepo babies.

"All these places are a bunch of snarky f---ing millennial, probably Nepo babies. I mean, I just know how these kids, who have these jobs, how much they were indoctrinated before they got there and they are not America. So I don't know, you don't read your own publications?" Maher said.

Allen said he's been there two to three weeks, and said he does read his publications.

HuffPost came under fire earlier this year over an article posted to social media about feeling discomfort rooting for the USA in the Olympics.

The article, which was titled, "There's a Name for the Discomfort You're Feeling Watching the Olympics Right Now," was posted on X.

"If waving the American flag or chanting 'USA!' turns you off right now, you're not alone," said the caption, with a link to the article.

"While President Donald Trump’s deportation agenda separates families, and federal agents detain 5-year-olds and kill unarmed civilians, American athletes are winning medals on behalf of the nation at the Olympics right now," the February piece read. "This whiplash between pride for United States competitors and national shame for the federal government is common."

That's the situation Jannik Sinner found himself in on Sunday. The No. 1 tennis player in the world defeated Alexander "Sascha" Zverev to win back-to-back Wimbledon titles and his girlfriend Laila Hasanovic went viral.

It's a tough life, but someone has to live it. Credit to Sinner for not allowing it to get the best of him. While he was taking care of business on the court, the cameras managed to find Hasanovic off of it.

Hasanovic, who started a relationship with Jannik Sinner sometime last year, isn't new to the world of sports either. She dated professional driver Mick Schumacher for roughly three years before splitting in April 2025.

Wimbledon has made stars before. Who could forget Morgan Riddle bursting on the scene in the summer of 2022? Not this guy, and with any luck, Sinner's girlfriend could be the next to make something of her viral recognition.

Lindsey Graham’s sister appointed to Senate as GOP rushes to protect fragile majority

Darline Graham Nordone, the sister of the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., was appointed to fill her brother’s Senate seat after a push from President Donald Trump.

"It's my honor to ask his little sister, Darlene Graham, to finish his work for him now," South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster said at a ceremony on Monday afternoon.

McMaster, a close Trump ally, appointed Nordone nearly 48 hours after her brother and longtime lawmaker suddenly died from an aortic dissection.

McMaster’s pick comes after Trump pushed for Graham’s "wonderful sister" Nordone to get the job.

"This would be a fabulous tribute to Lindsey, who loved her dearly," Trump wrote in a post to Truth Social on Monday morning.

Others were also initially considered, including Lt. Gov. Pam Evette, who Trump endorsed in her failed bid to clinch the GOP nomination for governor, former Rep. Trey Gowdy and former Sen. Jim DeMint, sources told Fox News Digital.

Her appointment fills the seat through Jan. 3, while voters decide in November who will hold the seat for the next six-year term.

At this point, it's unclear if Nordone, 62, would consider running for a full six-year term, and there's already private jockeying to run in the special election, set for Aug. 11, to secure the GOP nomination in the Palmetto State, with Reps. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., and Ralph Norman, R-S.C., both eyeing a bid.

Graham’s death narrowed Republicans’ Senate majority and added pressure to keep every GOP vote available, especially with Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., still being treated after a fall and pneumonia.

Nordone, who has largely kept out of the public eye, is married to Larry Nordone and has two daughters. She has worked with the South Carolina Commission for the Blind (SCCB) as commissioner, according to the organization's 2026-27 budget. The SCCB provides services aimed at helping blind and low-vision South Carolina residents gain employment, independence and self-sufficiency.

In the past, she has described a personal closeness with Lindsey Graham, having been raised by him after the death of their mother when she was just 11.

"I have always looked up to Lindsey. He's just always been there for me as long as I can remember. If I fell down and scraped my knee, Lindsey was the one I ran to," she recounted in a 2014 campaign ad.

Nordone has not previously held elected office. She will become South Carolina's first female senator.

Following Trump’s endorsement, Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., the chair of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), also put his support behind Nordone on Monday morning ahead of the announcement.

"Lindsey Graham’s sister, Darline Graham Nordone, would be a fantastic pick to serve out the remainder of the Senate term," Scott wrote in a post to X.

"After speaking with Darline, there is no one better who understands Lindsey’s love for family, our state and our country."

McMaster also described speaking with Darline ahead of her appointment as well as with Trump.

"After we spoke on the phone in the wee hours of Sunday morning and you agreed to serve through tears, I had wondered what you would say and I was humbled by your quickness to see the duty that you had to serve. And I called the president afterwards, and he thought it was a great idea," McMaster said.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., also voiced his support for Nordone.

He told CNN Monday afternoon that he had already spoken with both Nordone and McMaster the day before, and believed that tapping the longtime lawmaker's sister to fill his spot, "in my view, makes a lot of sense."

"I think, in many respects, it would be a way of extending Lindsey’s legacy here, and certainly something that, if that’s what they decide to end up doing, I think there’d be a lot of support for," Thune said.

The filing period for a special primary election begins on July 21, with the special election to follow on Aug. 11. A runoff, if needed, would be held Aug. 25, leaving the candidate just two months to campaign before the Nov. 3 general election.

Cricket Australia pulls ridiculous national anthem move that shows how left-wing the country has become

Australia seems determined to make radical left-wing blue states like California, Minnesota and Michigan look normal.

That seems borderline impossible, doesn't it?

Those states are busy trying to allow males to compete in girls' and women's sports, making it possible for illegal immigrants to vote, and covering up massive amounts of government fraud and waste in the name of "equality."

And yet, Australia somehow always finds a way to drop the ultimate, "hold our beer."

The latest example comes from Cricket Australia, which is reportedly bringing the Big Bash League final back to Australia Day on Jan. 26, 2027.

Makes sense, right? Cricket is one of the biggest sports in the country. Australia Day is one of the country's most important holidays.

It's the perfect time to combine two unifying forces – love of sport and national pride – into one huge celebratory day. But this is modern-day Australia we're talking about.

According to The Australian, Cricket Australia does not currently plan to feature "Advance Australia Fair," the country’s national anthem, before the BBL final unless the hosting city specifically requests it.

Read that again.

The championship game is being played on Australia Day, but playing the Australian national anthem prior to the match isn't in the plan.

Truly incredible.

Can you imagine if the NFL hosted the Super Bowl on the Fourth of July and said, "We're going to pass on the whole 'Star-Spangled Banner' thing because we don't want to offend anyone."

American sports leagues have pulled some ridiculous moves in the name of radical left-wing ideology, but none of them have dared to go that far. It's bad enough the NFL plays the "black national anthem" before the Super Bowl, but forgoing "The Star-Spangled Banner" is a step no league would dare attempt.

If sports executives for one of the country’s biggest sports properties think playing the national anthem before their biggest game is problematic, Australia has far more problems than it seems willing to admit.

But it goes much deeper than that.

The league is reportedly expected to work with the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cricket Advisory Committee, also known as NATSICA, to make sure the day is handled with proper "cultural sensitivity."

Seriously? The league has to consult with an "Indigenous advisory group" to decide if it's appropriate to play Australia's own national anthem?

I can do that for them right now for free.

Yes. It's perfectly appropriate to play the country's national anthem before a massive sporting event. There, done.

By the way, Cricket Australia scheduled the final for Australia Day. Nobody forced them to do that; they picked the date because it’s a national holiday and they want people to watch.

The good news is that many Australians are actually angry. A Herald Sun reader poll cited found overwhelming support for cricket returning to Australia Day, and many readers also argued the anthem should be played.

Why is that good news? Because it means there are rational people in the country who simply want to display some patriotism and national pride. That's a good thing, not a bad thing.

This is all very predictable. The people in charge make decisions to please left-wing activists who are impossible to satisfy, then act shocked when normal citizens don’t appreciate the disrespect for their country.

What exactly is the point of putting the BBL final on Australia Day if Cricket Australia is going to act like the "Australia" part is inherently problematic? They want the holiday crowd, the TV audience and the attention. They just don’t want to appear too patriotic while cashing in on the date.

Or, maybe, they’re just cowards.

Cricket Australia has an easy choice here.

Play the anthem. Play the match. Let Australians enjoy Australia Day and maybe, just maybe, have a little pride in their country for one day.

Apparently, that’s too much to ask.

Australia can keep pretending this is about "cultural sensitivity" or whatever other corporate buzzword makes executives feel brave while doing cowardly things.

But normal people see exactly what’s happening.

In the Senate, there’s a black veil covering a desk. On top there’s a bowl of striking white roses. That’s where Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., used to sit.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., pointed to that desk during an emotional tribute to the late Senator on Monday. Graham was a confidant, trusted advisor and friend to Thune. And through tears, he set about remembering the lawmaker who spent 30 years in Washington, D.C., making a mark on his state and country.

"It's difficult to believe that Lindsey Graham is no longer here with us," Thune said. "That we won't run into him at a meeting today or share a joke with him at this afternoon's vote. The halls of the Senate already feel empty without him. And I know I'm not alone in that feeling."

As Thune spoke about Graham, the late lawmaker’s staff sat in the Senate chamber as tears filled the room. And since Thune became the leader of the Senate GOP, you would oftentime see Graham enter his office just off the Senate floor.

He was there to talk down Republican rebels who threatened to sink President Donald Trump’s "big, beautiful bill," and once earlier this year stormed into Thune’s office declaring his resistance to a deal struck by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and the president to avert a government shutdown.

But he was there, and Thune noted that "Lindsey was fearless in his commitment to the causes that he espoused."

"It didn't matter to him whether he would catch flak on an issue," Thune said. "He was undaunted by the politics if he believed he was right on the principle."

"Senator. Warrior. Patriot. Statesman," Thune continued. "Words that will be written about Lindsey. But for me, most of all, Mr. President, he was my friend."

Shortly after Thune’s tribute to Graham, South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster officially tapped his sister, Darline Graham Nordone, to fill his seat for the remainder of his term. It’s a move that Thune, Trump and Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C. backed.

Trump’s declaration comes amid a hotly contested debate in the racing world over whether professional racecar driver are actually athletes.

ESPN star Stephen A. Smith waded into the territory in April when a caller on his radio show suggested that Richard Petty was one of the greatest athletes of all time. He said driving a car doesn’t "count" as being an athlete.

NASCAR greats Jeff Gordon and Kyle Larson pushed back on Smith’s insinuations in an interview with Fox News Digital in May before the Indy 500.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced that he will continue to work with Morris Katz, one of the leading political consultants behind Graham Platner’s doomed bid for Senate.

"I will continue to work with Morris Katz, he remains a top advisor of mine," Mamdani said at a news conference on Monday.

Many of Katz’s fellow Democrats lambasted him after Platner withdrew from the race following a rape accusation – which Platner denied – from an ex-girlfriend, arguing that Katz failed to do his due diligence before promoting Platner to party leaders. Some in the party are now calling for him to be blacklisted from future political operations.

Katz and his consulting partner, Daniel Moraff, ignored multiple requests from their own vetting team to dig deeper into Platner’s past over concerns of possible scandals, a source familiar with the early stages of the Platner campaign previously told Fox News Digital. The duo paid just over $6,000 for a three-day vetting job, something that usually takes weeks and costs tens of thousands of dollars.

Democratic sources claim that Katz pitched Platner as a potential successor to an elderly Sen. Bernie Sanders and a potential presidential contender — a characterization he now denies.

After Platner announced his intention to suspend his candidacy, Katz wrote on X that "as soon as the team became aware of the rape allegations against Graham Platner we advised he suspend his candidacy, and in the following days worked to wind down the campaign" and that he was "deeply disappointed."

A community note attached to his post points out that Platner’s campaign initially denied the rape allegation.

"Just want to be clear on where we are right now," Katz wrote in the message obtained by the Bangor Daily News. "If the story goes in its current iteration we’ll communicate directly on the record, and by name, that Genevieve violated the personal trust of Amy and Graham and shared explicit falsehoods to sabotage the campaign."

Katz also faced criticism earlier this year over a puberty book he previously authored.

The political consultant authored a book in 2020 that bills itself as a "puberty book" for "curious boys" aged 10 to 12. Sections of the book include "Your New Penis" and "The Magic of Masturbation."

In a footnote on page 15 of the text, Katz wrote that he planned to "use images of my penis" to show children how genitalia develop during puberty, but that publishers shot the idea down for being "inappropriate." Conservative critics swiftly condemned him over the remark, with Katz later saying the comment was joke.

"Only a perverted freak would say that," wildly popular conservative X account "Libs of TikTok," which is operated by Chaya Raichik, posted to X in March.

"Morris Katz’s musings about exposing himself to ten-year-olds are absolutely disgusting," the National Republican Senatorial Committee said of Katz back in March as news of the footnote spread.

Hollywood and its media partners may have abandoned any pretense of creativity, originality, or intelligent filmmaking, but at least it hasn't given up on hypocrisy.

Take, for example, the brilliance of Variety, a publication dedicated to entertainment industry news and coverage. Variety is, like most companies associated with the film business, openly and proudly left-wing. As such, anytime those on the right, or even tangentially associated with the right, notice or say something about a movie or entertainment property, Variety leaps in to defend their political party.

Case in point? The difference in how they have treated the importance of "representation" in two prominent summer big-budget blockbusters.

LIVE-ACTION REMAKE OF 'MOANA' GETS RAVAGED BY CRITICS IN LATEST BLOW TO DISNEY STUDIOS

On the one hand, there's "Moana." A fictional story based in mythology, set in the Pacific Islands, the original 2016 animated film was widely enjoyed, critically and commercially successful. That led to the inevitable Disney live-action remake, which is the exact opposite. As part of their promotional efforts designed to help the film succeed, Variety posted a link to their story on X, saying, "'Moana' Creatives on Working Closely to Honor Polynesian Culture and Traditions, and Why Representation Matters in the Live-Action Film."

"Why representation matters." So what does that mean in practice? Well, Variety celebrates the film's depiction of Polynesian cultures, saying that the creative team "finally" has something to celebrate.

They quote star Dwayne Johnson inexplicably implying that audiences can only enjoy something when characters look exactly like them. "When I was 8 years old watching Harrison Ford, I was like, ‘I want to be that guy,’ but that guy didn’t look like me,'" Johnson said. "And so, as the film hits screens this weekend, Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander audiences, Johnson, and the film’s cast and creatives are finally finding much to celebrate," the article adds.

That left the film’s cast and creatives feeling a sense of pride at seeing their culture represented on screen."

Variety then celebrates how committed the cast and crew was to "representation," saying, "To ensure that the representation was done with respect and authenticity, countless artisans, consultants, experts, advisors, and department heads worked closely with the Cultural Trust."

That's great; the film is based on those cultures and their mythologies and traditions, so getting the details right is an admirable commitment to authenticity and accuracy. Except, and here's where the modern Hollywood tradition of hypocrisy comes into play, this same exact media outlet had the polar opposite reaction to critics of Christopher Nolan's upcoming release of "The Odyssey."

CHRISTOPHER NOLAN'S 'THE ODYSSEY' GETS OVERWHELMINGLY NEGATIVE REACTIONS AFTER CONTROVERSIAL CASTING CHOICES

Nolan has received an enormous amount of criticism for his bewildering casting and authenticity choices in "The Odyssey," one of the most legendary stories in Greek mythology and literature. He cast Elliot Page, a 5-foot-1-inch tall transgender actor, as a Greek soldier. Kenyan-Mexican actress Lupita Nyong'o is Helen of Troy. Zendaya is Athena, a Greek goddess. Other leads in the film include Matt Damon and Tom Holland, who have no Greek ancestry. In fact, not one of the main actors or actresses are Greek. There's modern language, like "Dad," for example, used in the trailer. And the armor and ships depicted are not representative of the time with "The Odyssey" was written.

Many critics have pointed out that this lack of accuracy and authenticity is bizarre, off-putting, and for some, offensive. Not to mention that it would never be tolerated were the story from a different culture. But to Variety? Pointing out these obvious issues makes you a "troll."

In May, left-wing columnist Marlow Stern wrote a story headlined, "‘The Odyssey’: Why Elon Musk and His Troll Army’s Attacks Aren’t Just Silly but Wildly Inaccurate."

Ah. So with "Moana," a fictional animated film from 10 years ago, Variety believes it was vitally important that every detail be "done with respect and authenticity." They cheer that "countless artisans, consultants, experts, and advisors" worked with the creative team to ensure that all Pacific Islander, Polynesian, Maori, or Native Hawaiian traditions were depicted accurately. Dwayne Johnson and the cast and crew are "finally" able to "celebrate," because of representation.

With "The Odyssey," if people point out that these same values are apparently thrown by the wayside with one of the most important, foundational texts in the history of storytelling, they're silly trolls. If you expect hypocrisy from the Hollywood left, you'll never be disappointed.

Here's how Stern's article starts: "From the team that brought you 'Why is Snow White Latina?,' 'Why are there Black people in ‘The Rings of Power?,’' and 'Star Wars has gone woke,' comes the latest online onslaught against an anticipated Hollywood project that committed the unfathomable sin of having a diverse cast."

Makes you wonder whether Stern would have the same reaction if Dwayne Johnson's character in "Moana" had been replaced by say, Chris Pratt. Something tells me she'd have been outraged, furious, launching silly, inaccurate, troll attacks left and right.

But therein lies the contradiction at the heart of the modern entertainment business. When a story centers around a specific cultural or minority group, all authenticity and representation must be maintained. When Snow White, a character from a German fairytale published in 1812, is played by a Latina actress, it's cause for celebration. We must update all historical stories from European cultures to reflect modern diversity, but don't you dare touch any detail from a protected 10-year-old animated film.

Nothing about this is surprising, but it is illuminating. The entertainment industry is no longer a place devoted to making the best, most entertaining stories possible, but one where the express purpose is promoting and defending a specific type of ideological activism.

Democratic socialists erupt over 2028 endorsement as AOC speculation grows: 'Dangerous path'

Infighting has erupted within the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) about the selection of its pick for U.S. president, as the group’s influence continues to grow on the national stage and speculation swirls about a 2028 presidential run by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.

The infighting reveals fractures in the roughly 120,000-member group, which has emerged as the preeminent socialist group in America. The division also sheds light on how some Democratic Socialists of America members believe the group can gain a permanent foothold in American politics and deliver on its socialist ideals on a national scale.

Some Democratic Socialists of America leaders have been pushing for an earlier presidential endorsement in place of the group's normal practice of selecting endorsements at its biennial national convention, which is set for summer 2027.

One faction known as the "Groundwork" caucus is pushing strongly for the group to conduct a national member poll and "endorse AOC on day one." The caucus believes an early endorsement will help DSA hold a more influential early role in 2028 presidential politics and "build power for socialism."

DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISTS OF AMERICA LEADER SAYS ‘MANY’ IN GROUP WOULD BE 'THRILLED' AT AOC IN 2028

In one online petition, DSA members voiced that "if we don’t have a member poll, we as members will be left out of DSA’s most fundamental way of building a democratic strategy."

However, in a Sunday 14–13 vote, DSA's National Political Committee (NPC) rejected a proposal to allow the group's 2028 presidential endorsement to be decided through a nationwide all-member poll, according to Canary Mission. By rejecting the proposal, the committee left the issue to DSA's existing convention process, meaning any national endorsement decision would likely wait until the organization's next convention in August 2027.

The decision was blasted by many DSA members online.

Gustavo Gordillo, co-chair of the group’s New York City chapter, posted on X that "DSA’s national leadership (the NPC) just voted to overturn our convention & took away rank and file members’ right to vote in an all-member poll on presidential endorsement."

Gordillo added that the committee is "taking away our members’ right to vote" while NYC-DSA, the group’s largest chapter, is "send(ing) them ~ $2M per year in dues."

Likewise, J. Ryder, founding editor of a magazine on communism, wrote that the committee’s decision "to suppress polling the will of the members on presidential endorsement is severely disappointing."

Ryder added that "this will inevitably put DSA on the back foot in the 2028 moment," writing, "Waiting to endorse in August of next year at the convention may mean 6 months+ of vital AOC campaign time where the masses will be mobilizing without intervention by DSA."

"The worst part is, the members want to mobilize, they see the opportunity that this moment represents for socialism and want so desperately to grasp it," he added. "The fact the (sic) some sectarians on the NPC are suppressing even a non-binding poll shows that they know this, and are scared of the implications of member democracy and mass politics in DSA."

In response, committee member Amy Wilhelm fired back at Gordillo, posting on X that "NYC members deserve co-chairs that don't lie."

Wilhelm said that "there was never intention to prevent" DSA members from participating in chapter polls, and that "with the resolution where we left it today chapters are allowed to carry out the poll per their standard method."

Likewise, another X user who goes by the name "tylerisposting" blasted Gordillo, telling him in an X post to "stop lying" and "stop trying to foment a split."

Meanwhile, Eve Seitchik, a Massachusetts DSA member, characterized the events of the day as "a massive escalation of factional tensions," adding, "I'm afraid DSA has been set down a dangerous path."

The authors posited that DSA’s recent electoral wins and Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., "Fight Oligarchy" tour "have shown that there is energy all across the country to support a bold, democratic socialist presidential campaign."

They argued that "DSA should be ready to position ourselves as the political home for the millions of people that will be inspired by AOC’s message and position our organization as the vital core of AOC’s campaign."

They wrote that Ocasio-Cortez is "on the precipice of running for — and potentially winning — the presidency of the United States" and that "this opportunity is years in the making."

"If we drag our feet," they wrote, "we will have forced ourselves into the backseat and miss the opportunity to strike when the iron is hot."

The four-term congresswoman has not directly said whether she will launch a presidential run in 2028. Rumors are also circulating about her opting to instead run for the Senate to topple Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.

Though Ocasio-Cortez is considered one of the most prominent socialists in the country and a close ally of Sanders, she has run afoul of DSA leadership several times.

In summer 2025, the group issued a statement condemning Ocasio-Cortez’s vote against an amendment to block additional funding for Israel’s "Iron Dome," which would have denied Israel an additional $500 million in U.S. funding for its preeminent missile defense system. In 2024, the DSA withdrew its endorsement for Ocasio-Cortez’s re-election, citing that she had not met its conditions, including opposing all funding to Israel and publicly supporting boycott and sanctions for the country.

DSA's New York City chapter notably retained its endorsement for Ocasio-Cortez.

Commenting on DSA’s deliberations, a spokesperson for Canary Mission told Fox News Digital that "an AOC presidency would give that movement more than influence: it would give its agenda access to the full power of the executive branch."

The spokesperson added that "putting that power in the hands of a movement that repeatedly places ideological allegiance above America’s national interests, regards America and its allies as the problem, and shows sympathy toward their adversaries would not be political progress. It would be a profound national-security risk—and could be devastating for the country."

"DSA presents its agenda as a project of reconstruction, but much of its politics begins with dismantling the institutions, alliances, and economic system that sustain those achievements," the spokesperson said, adding, "For more than a decade, Canary Mission has documented numerous instances in which anti-Zionist activism has crossed into antisemitic harassment, support for extremism, and hostility toward the United States and its democratic allies."

"As these ideas have moved from activist circles into mainstream politics, DSA has emerged as the primary vehicle through which radical ideology is translated into political success," said the spokesperson.

EXCLUSIVE — A Connecticut religious liberty group is challenging a state policy that barred it from displaying a Nativity scene inside the Capitol, arguing officials violated the First Amendment by prohibiting holiday displays solely because they were religious.

On Monday, First Liberty Institute sent a demand letter to Connecticut’s Joint Committee on Legislative Management on behalf of the Family Institute of Connecticut (FIC) after the organization was barred from exhibiting a small Nativity in the state Capitol building in December.

First Liberty Institute maintains that the Committee’s policy permits displays in the Capitol unless they are "religious in nature," and, in their letter with Jones Day, asks the Committee to remove the provision from its policy and allow the Nativity display this Christmas season.

The group says the Joint Committee on Legislative Management rejected the request, explaining that its policy prohibits religious displays by outside organizations because a standalone Nativity scene could be viewed as government endorsement of Christianity.

"The Committee’s position is legally incorrect, and the Committee itself has violated the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution by maintaining a facially unlawful policy and denying FIC’s application," the letter reads. "As summarized below, the Establishment Clause certainly does not forbid the display of a Nativity scene at the State Capitol, and the Committee’s denial of FIC’s request based on its religious nature is viewpoint discrimination in violation of the Free Speech Clause."

Driver accused of DUI survives astonishing 600-foot plunge down California cliff

California officials on Monday said a driver suspected of being under the influence miraculously survived after a pickup truck plunged roughly 600 feet off a cliff in Northern California last week.

The crash happened in Siskiyou County along State Route 263, a scenic highway carved through steep cliffs and rugged terrain known for its dramatic drop-offs.

The pickup appeared to veer off the roadway before tumbling down the mountainside and eventually coming to rest at the bottom of the cliff, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

"Remarkably, the driver survived what could have easily been a fatal crash," the agency said.

"The View" co-hosts Sara Haines and Ana Navarro called for decency following the death of Sen. Lindsey Graham on Monday during the daytime talk show, noting the ugly commentary circulating online.

"First thing I want to say is, I saw a lot of posts online this week kind of celebrating his death and rejoicing," Navarro said. "And listen, I know that Trump does that. He did it with Bob Mueller, he did it with John McCain, he did it with Rob Reiner. But it’s inhumane and lacking empathy. And the dead person is dead and can’t hear you and can’t read your posts. But his family, his sister who he adopted when she was 13 because both of their parents died, is alive, and is hearing it. And so I think that for the benefit, for humanity, for having, you know, a normal decency towards the family of the dead, that just has to stop."

Hostin quoted Steve Schmidt, who co-founded the anti-Trump Lincoln Project, who Hostin said wrote, "Lindsey knew better."

"He was certainly this political chameleon," Hostin said. "And his legacy is complicated and people are speaking out about the very hypocrisy that you saw when he was John McCain’s friend and when he became friends with Donald Trump. Steve Schmidt, who’s a political strategist and worked on the John McCain campaign in 2008, wrote just today, 'Lindsey knew better.'"

"And he said he was 'a lonely and unprincipled man who betrayed his country for power and his decency for attention,'" Hostin continued, citing Schimdt. "That is someone that knew him. He also called him a 'pilot fish, a smaller fish that hovers about a larger predator, like a shark, living off of its deleterious, and that’s Lindsey.'"

"The Young Turks" co-host and executive producer Ana Kasparian responded to the news that Graham had died on X with two words.

"Good riddance," Kasparian said.

Yellowstone bison attack witness believes man saved his grandson by taking brunt of attack

The grandfather who was tossed into the air by a charging bison at Yellowstone National Park is recovering after suffering multiple broken bones as new details emerge about the terrifying encounter.

The victim has been identified as Carl Isom-McDaniel, a man visiting the park with his grandson when the bull attacked Friday evening at Bridge Bay Campground near Yellowstone Lake, according to several reports.

McDaniel is a retiree based in Kendall, Washington, according to reports. He is known for serving on several boards — including the water and parks commissions.

Now, the photographer who took video of the shocking attack has revealed previously unknown details.

"Once I saw the victim in the air, I stopped filming and ran with some other men to haze the bison away and to render aid," photographer Mike MacLeod told Fox News Digital in an interview.

"It really felt to me like the grandfather kind of saved his grandson. [He'd] taken the brunt of the attack," he said.

"I got to him right away, and the first thing he asked is, 'How is my grandson?'" recalled MacLeod, a veteran.

McDaniel never lost consciousness during the attack despite suffering multiple broken bones, Fox News "America's Newsroom" reported.

He is now recovering from his injuries.

When the bison stood up, the grandfather decided to leave immediately and the grandson followed, MacLeod said.

"For some reason [the bison] had it in his head he was going to attack those two," the photographer recalled.

New reports also indicate that neither McDaniel nor his grandson did anything to provoke the animal.

The bull had already charged a group of teenagers before stopping to wallow in the dirt near the campground, Fox News Digital previously reported.

"Less than even a minute after I started filming, the bison charged a bunch of teenagers that were at a safe distance," the photographer said.

"They were all young and nimble, so they just scattered," he said.

"But they started yelling, 'Hey, everyone watch out. There's a bison.' ... There were a lot of campers in the camp."

McDaniel and his grandson later came upon the bison while out for an evening walk, unaware it had already displayed aggressive behavior.

The pair briefly stopped to take photos before the bison stood up, MacLeod said.

The two moved behind a cluster of trees as a pickup truck drove by. The bison briefly turned its attention toward the vehicle before charging back toward McDaniel and his grandson.

The grandson escaped, but the bison hooked McDaniel near his hip with one horn and hurled him several feet into the air.

MacLeod said he feared the animal was about to gore the injured grandfather — prompting him to put down his camera and run toward the bison, yelling and waving his arms.

Other campground visitors assisted until the animal retreated.

The Bozeman, Montana-based photographer, who captured the viral attack on video, said McDaniel remained in good spirits while waiting for help to arrive.

The attack occurred during the bison's mating season, when bulls can become aggressive because of heightened testosterone levels, "America's Newsroom" noted. Bison can run up to 30 mph, giving people little time to react.

Yellowstone National Park advises its visitors to stay at least 25 yards away.

Since the attack, MacLeod and his wife have been in touch with the victim's family.

MacLeod has learned that the grandfather just got out of surgery yesterday for a broken leg, he said.

"He is very proud of his grandson and very thankful that his grandson was not injured," he added.

Then, she tossed someone ... for some reason. Again, not sure what happened there. Wild.

Later in the inning, Pawol appeared to call a balk on the pitcher ... only to then crouch down and call the pitch a strike? Don't know that I've ever seen that before.

Listen to the announcers. They are absolutely perplexed. Can't say that I blame them.

Look, this isn't about Jen Pawol being a female umpire, so save it. I know that's what everyone is going to harp on here.

"Oh, Zach, you're only highlighting this because she's a girl!"

No, I'm not. Quit it.

I've blasted umpires plenty of times before, and they were all men. I called out awful CB Bucknor earlier this year. I wrote about a Royals catcher humiliating another male ump during spring training. Last month, I called out some hot-shot ump who tossed A's manager Mark Kotsay for no reason at all.

This was one of the worst sequences I've ever seen out of an MLB umpire, and I had to sit through a decade of Angel Hernandez.

In fact, according to the popular site "UmpScorecards.com," Jen Pawol has been the third-worst umpire this season with a 91.8% accuracy. That's not my opinion. That's a fact. That's what the data says.

Male or female. Cat or dog. Robot or human. I don't care. When you manage to piss off both teams in the same inning, it's a bad look. This was just atrocious.

Bison, Dolphins & Gianna, oh my!

Yes! Aaron Rodgers has finished his annual ... retreat ... and he's ready for one last Super Bowl run. Looks like he brought teammates DK Metcalf, Michael Pittman Jr., Pat Freiermuth, Roman Wilson, Mason Rudolph and Ben Skowronek along for the clarity trip this time around.

Remember that one time Aaron barricaded himself in a dark cave for four days whilst mulling his NFL future? Or that one time when him and Danica Patrick went on a psychedelic trip to Peru for some ayahuasca?

This one looks a little more tame, if you ask me. Although, it does look like Aaron and DJ were ripping some darts between horseback riding lessons:

OK, let's rapid-fire this Monday class into a big Monday night. First up? I know this video of the bison absolutely pancaking a grandpa went mega-viral yesterday, but it deserves another look today:

I've never seen anything quite like it. What a scene. What a clip.

My biggest takeaway, though? How about the kid in the MIAMI DOLPHINS jersey?

That's either a Jarvis Landry jersey, or a Ryan Fitzpatrick one. Either one is fine, you ask me. Fitzpatrick is probably more fitting given the situation.

As for the 65-year-old grandfather who got launched into space ... he's OK! According to reports, he's recovering at a local hospital.

"He was in a lot of pain with his leg, and otherwise he was conscious the whole time, in good spirits, joking," photographer Mike MacLeod told the New York Times.

What a patriot. Love this dude. He is now part of internet history. Whether he likes it or not, he will forever be an internet meme. I'd expect that clip to be used during a lot of Dolphins games this season, and not in a good way.

Man, do I miss football. Can you tell?

Obama-appointed judge torches Trump admin in latest courtroom showdown, refers attorney for Bar review

An Obama-appointed federal judge in Florida rebuked President Donald Trump’s legal team Monday, finding his $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS was brought for an "improper purpose" to legitimize a controversial Justice Department settlement.

U.S. District Judge Kathleen Williams of the Southern District of Florida found the case was brought for an "improper purpose," rebuked Trump’s legal team and referred attorney Alejandro Brito to the Florida Bar for possible disciplinary action.

"The Parties here are not private actors to a mine-run dispute, recounting their proficiency in the art of the deal they negotiated," wrote Williams. "Lead Plaintiff and Defendants are public servants—the pinnacle of the Executive Branch—sworn to uphold the law, faithfully perform the duties of their office, and protect the interests of the American public."

TRUMP DOUBLES DOWN ON $1.8 BILLION 'SLUSH FUND' THAT KILLED HIS AGENDA, SPURRED REPUBLICAN REBELLION

Trump, his two eldest sons and the Trump Organization sued the IRS and Treasury Department seeking at least $10 billion in damages for failing to protect his confidential tax information after IRS contractor Charles Littlejohn leaked his records in 2019. Littlejohn pleaded guilty to one count of unauthorized disclosure of tax return and return information.

Williams found that Trump was using the lawsuit to advance his own interests while controlling the federal agency he had sued.

She was appointed by Obama in 2011 and previously served as a Federal Public Defender for the Southern District of Florida.

GOP LEVERAGES ICE FUNDING PACKAGE TO MAKE TRUMP'S CONTROVERSIAL $2B FUND 'NEVER EXIST'

Trump envisioned creating an "Anti-Weaponization Fund" from the lawsuit settlement to compensate alleged victims of government "lawfare" as well as to halt IRS audits of his finances.

The fund drew an enormous amount of scrutiny from Democrats, calling it a "slush fund" to personally benefit Trump and his allies. The fund was later dropped after political backlash, with DOJ Acting Attorney General moving to walk back that portion of the proposed settlement.

TRUMP SAYS HE WILL NOMINATE ACTING AG TODD BLANCHE TO PERMANENTLY LEAD JUSTICE DEPARTMENT

The lawsuit puts the controversial anti-weaponization fund back under the microscope as confirmation hearings begin Wednesday for Blanche's nomination as attorney general.

Williams called out Blanche in her ruling, saying that he appeared to be speaking for both sides of the lawsuit.

"The Court is extremely troubled by the testimony given by Acting Attorney General Blanche on May 19, 2026. In response to why the 'settlement agreement' had not been submitted to this Court for review, he stated that 'there is no judge' because the case had been dismissed and, therefore, there was "no mechanism" for reviewing the agreement," wrote Williams.

"While temporally accurate, this answer is, at best, misleading and, at worst, disingenuous," she added.

"Hello again. We’re currently in Clemson, South Carolina. I’ve decided to come back here to document the final part of our road trip," Freddy wrote to his 750,000 X fans on Monday with the World Cup semifinals set to take place Tuesday and Wednesday.

The guy who mesmerized X with his dispatches from small-town Alabama, off-the-beaten path Ohio, Ella Langley's dressing room and points in between, says even though he's being doxxed on Reddit, his story of finding the good in the United States is a genuine story. "For some people, it’s unfortunately unfathomable that a good story can exist without some kind of hidden agenda behind it," he writes, while admitting this isn't his first visit to the U.S., but it was definitely the first time he's ever visited Ohio.
