Steel Across America tour lands in Fenway Park ahead of 25th anniversary of 9/11

The Tunnel to Towers Steel Across America tour landed in Boston's Fenway Park on Wednesday night, giving Red Sox fans a chance to see a preserved section of the World Trade Center.

The 21-foot steel beam from the South Tower of the World Trade Center has been on a tour across America since May, and it is scheduled to finish its journey in New York City just after September 11.

"It brings up a lot of memories, and honestly reading that and talking to the firemen over there, it can give me chills. It gives me chills," Fenway vendor David Littlefield said of the display.

"It was gut wrenching, heartbreaking," he said, adding that his wife lost a roommate in the attacks.

"It hits home. I worked for American Airlines for 30 years and I was, I worked flight 11 and flight 77 many times," another woman at the game said.

The display is now being featured at the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Memorial on Thursday.

The 16,900-pound beam will then head to the nation's capital, where it will be featured at a private event on Friday. It will then head to New York City for another private event in Brooklyn on Sept. 11, before a final appearance at the New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys game at MetLife Stadium on Sept. 13.

The beam visited the U.S. Military Academy at West Point on Monday, where the superintendent, Lt. Gen. James B. Bartholomees III, said the piece of steel connects the courage shown by first responders on 9/11 with the Americans who answered the call to serve in the years that followed.

"As we approach the 25th anniversary of 9/11, this piece of steel reminds us of the courage of first responders like Stephen Siller and the countless Americans who answered the call in the years that followed, including generations of West Point graduates," Bartholomees said. "Today, young men and women continue that legacy of service, guided by duty, honor country."

The ceremony brought together cadets, faculty, staff and guests, and opened with a color guard and pipe and drum procession by members of the NYPD, FDNY and Port Authority Police Department. The program also included the national anthem, an invocation and blessing of the steel, and a moment of reflection accompanied by "Amazing Grace."

'Sopranos' star Dominic Chianese continues to age in reverse, starts podcast at 95 years old

If any of you loyal readers are lucky enough to still have grandparents alive, congratulations.

And if any of those grandparents are still kicking at the ripe age of 95, congratulations again.

With all that being said, I doubt few if any of those 95-year-old grandparents are starting a podcast, but that's exactly what former "Sopranos" star Dominic Chianese has decided to do as his next career move.

The man who played Corrado "Junior" Soprano and gave us such classic lines as "he never had the makings of a varsity athlete" as well as other expressions my editors won't let me put in print is teaming up with his son, Dominic Jr. (ironically enough), to deliver a podcast reflecting on the elder Chianese's career in Hollywood, including his turn as the boss of New Jersey's bespectacled uncle.

"I’m 95 now. I’ve been thinking a lot about (legacy), especially since I’m going to be talking to millions of people," Chianese told People.

"To be honest with you, I was a little frightened because I thought millions of people are going to hear what’s coming out of my mouth. That’s serious stuff," he said.

"And [my son] said, ‘Don’t worry, Pop, everything’s okay.’"

"Sopranos" actors and podcasting seem to go hand in hand, as Chianese isn't the only one from the show to try his hand in the medium.

Steve Schirippa and Michael Imperioli, who played Bobby Bacala Jr. and Christopher Moltisanti, respectively, famously started their "Talking Sopranos" podcast during COVID and even featured Chianese on an episode.

The Soprano children even got in on the podcast fun, as Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Robert Iler (Meadow and A.J. Soprano) have a podcast of their own called "Not Today, Pal."

Chianese is obviously best known for his role in the HBO hit mob series, but his acting career spans over half a century and includes roles in other gangster classics like "The Godfather, Part II" and "Boardwalk Empire."

The first episode of the podcast, titled "Dominic & Junior" dropped on Sept. 1.

Even though "The Sopranos" hasn't been on the air in almost 20 years, Chianese looks as young and as vibrant as he did the day the series wrapped.

Personally, I'm cautiously optimistic. Is this series necessary? Absolutely not. Will I still watch it? Without a second of hesitation.

The biggest positive is that the series will be able to go much deeper than the movie, which were all great. The pivot to darkness in the third book and movie is what made Rowling's work ascend into rarefied air.

The biggest downside is that expectations are through the roof, and anything less than excellence will be a massive disappointment.

DOJ charges ICE officer with lying to investigators following Minneapolis shooting of Venezuelan man

Federal prosecutors have charged a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer with lying to investigators about the events surrounding the shooting of a Venezuelan man in Minneapolis earlier this year, Fox News Digital has learned.

The Department of Justice has charged ICE agent Christian Castro with making false statements connected to the Jan. 14 shooting of Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis, who was shot in the leg. He was indicted by a federal grand jury in Minnesota on Wednesday, a source familiar with the charges said.

Castro is accused of opening fire through the front door of a Minneapolis home, hitting Sosa-Celis, and then lying about the events before the shooting. The incident came amid the Trump administration's crackdown on illegal immigration in Minnesota.

What followed was at least one night of unrest in Minneapolis.

The charges came after Castro was released from a Texas jail last week, following Texas Gov. Greg Abbott's refusal to sign an extradition warrant to hand him over to Minnesota authorities.

Under Texas law and barring extradition, Castro must be released after 90 days of detention. Last month, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison filed an unsuccessful request for a temporary restraining order in an effort to block Castro’s release or to order his return to Minnesota, The Associated Press reported.

Castro is charged separately in that state with assault and false reporting of a crime related to the same shooting.

However, the charges were dropped after video evidence showed the officers may have lied about the encounter, prompting an investigation.

On Wednesday, ProPublica reported that federal prosecutors were barred by officials in Washington from pursuing civil rights charges against Castro.

Duran Duran band member, Simon Le Bon, was spotted enjoying a sun-kissed European vacation with his wife.

Simon, 67, and his wife, Yasmin Le Bon, 61, were recently photographed while out and about on a beach day in Sardinia.

The musician was spotted in a pair of red swim shorts, which he paired with a white V-neck T-shirt, opting to wear it for parts of their stroll — and letting it hang around his neck during the rest.

His wife stunned in a classic black string bikini.

The couple met in 1984 after Simon saw a cover featuring Yasmin in the portfolio of photographer Mike Owen and asked him for her number. He then contacted her and asked her to accompany him to the premiere of "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom."

While they started out as friends, their relationship blossomed into a romance when they reconnected in Paris in 1985. They were engaged sometime that year and tied the knot in December 1985.

"I wake up in the morning and for ten minutes or so I just get to look at her sleeping peacefully. That's kind of all you need to know about me," he told the Daily Mirror in December 2010. But I really want to stay married for life."

Lawmakers press DHS in letter over Chinese forced labor allegations, flag popular Labubu dolls

FIRST ON FOX — The House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is requesting a briefing from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on the agency's implementation of the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA), a law designed to combat the import of Chinese goods made with slave labor, according to a letter shared exclusively with Fox News Digital.

The UFLPA, passed in 2021, directed DHS' Forced Labor Enforcement Task Force to develop a strategy for quelling the importation of goods into the United States that are "manufactured wholly or in part with forced labor in the People's Republic of China."

Human rights groups began shining a spotlight on the alleged oppression and forced labor the CCP was imposing on Uyghurs, a Muslim ethnic minority in China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR), a sparsely populated Chinese territory in the country's far west.

"The Uyghurs are being politically persecuted in Xinjiang, China. They are being forced to give up their religion. They're being forced to assimilate into Chinese culture. And many of them are being forced to do labor, to work for low wages or no wages and long hours," Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., the ranking member on the House Select Committee on Strategic Competition between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party, told Fox News Digital in an exclusive interview.

Khanna argued that enforcement of the UFLPA is not just a moral issue, but one of economic and national security for Americans.

"This is a human rights violation, but the broader problem also for Americans is that they're making steel, they're making aluminum, they're making textiles, and then they're dumping it into the U.S. market. How could U.S. Steel or Cleveland Cliffs or our aluminum manufacturers compete with slave labor? Of course we can't. So what our letter does is it says that we need more of these companies that are using forced Uyghur labor to be designated by the Department of Homeland Security," Khanna continued.

The bipartisan letter, addressed to DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin, asks the agency to address 10 concerns the committee has, including what work DHS and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) are doing to update the list of companies and entities on the UFLPA Entity List.

DHS added an additional 43 companies to the list in July, an action that Khanna applauded.

"I think the administration may have gotten wind that we were doing this letter and that precipitated action. You know, for a year, they hadn't done anything. Now, I give them some credit for having 44 of these companies on the list. But hopefully, once the letter goes out, we'll see more action," he said.

The committee's letter highlights concerns that products produced by companies on the list and that are coming from the XUAR are still making their way to U.S. customers. Those products, the letter alleges, cover supply chains ranging from steel and aluminum to silicon-carbon materials critical to technology production.

The letter highlights a New York Times report that suggests the cotton contained in popular "Labubu" dolls comes from slave labor.

"A lot of the textiles are coming, they come from China, are coming from Uyghurs. It's one of the easiest places to force people into labor, and that's why we included it, because of the reports that Uyghurs are involved in textile production," Khanna added.

Khanna also explained how China circumvents the import bans by outsourcing manufacturing.

"It's very challenging. I mean, obviously, conventionally, China has been evading some of the tariffs and protections by having their companies open up in Malaysia or Vietnam. Here, of course, you've got actual slave labor. And so what we're saying is identify these products back to the source. And if the source of the textile or steel or aluminum is forced Uyghur labor, then that should not be in the United States," he told Fox News Digital.

Ultimately, Khanna stressed, the problem of forced labor in China is a bipartisan issue, a statement seemingly reflected by the fact that the letter was signed by eight lawmakers, four Republicans and four Democrats.

"This is about fair trade and human rights. Americans aren't concerned about fair competition. If China had laborers that were being paid a fair wage and they were making something and we wanted to buy from them and they weren't dumping, and if China were buying from us, that would be fine. But what can't happen is them using slave labor, undercutting our market and our companies, and then not allowing our companies to sell to them. That's just not fair," he told Fox News Digital.

"Most Americans believe in trade, but they want fair trade and they don't want to be competing with slave labor," Khanna concluded.

Cubs reliever Trent Thornton suffers epic dugout meltdown after being removed from game

No ifs, ands or buts about it: Chicago Cubs relief pitcher Trent Thornton was not happy with his performance.

During the top of the fifth inning of the Cubs’ 9-5 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday night at Wrigley Field, Thornton was removed from the game and was fuming.

Thornton entered the game in the top of the fourth inning with a man on third and two outs with the Cubs trailing 6-5. The 32-year-old did his job and struck out Luis Lara to neutralize the scoring threat.

After the Cubs didn’t score in the bottom of the fourth inning, Thornton went out to pitch the top of the fifth inning, and things didn’t go quite as smoothly. He struck out Christian Yelich to begin the frame but then allowed three straight baserunners.

Thornton walked Joey Ortiz and allowed singles to Cooper Pratt and Jackson Chourio before being promptly removed from the game by manager Craig Counsell. That’s when Thornton snapped.

He walked into the dugout, took a few paces and then let loose. Thornton pulled off his best Rob Gronkowski impression and spiked his glove into the bench before screaming "F---!" twice.

While Thornton was upset, his woes in the top of the fifth inning did not come back to hurt him. Ryan Rolison came on in relief of Thornton and was able to retire the next two hitters in order to keep the score at 6-5.

Thornton is in his first season with the Cubs and has been a strong reliever for the team. In 44 games, he has a 3.40 ERA in 45 innings pitched and has three saves.

Unfortunately for the Cubs, they didn’t score for the rest of the game and ultimately lost 9-5, dropping the third game of a pivotal four-game series with their National League Central rivals.

Feds bust LGBT podcaster, former Christian reality TV star for alleged threats to kill Trump

A prominent LGBT podcaster who formerly hosted a Christian reality television show was arrested by federal agents in Los Angeles Thursday for allegedly threatening to kill President Donald Trump.

Benjamin Azariah Southworth, 40, was indicted by a grand jury on federal charges for cyberstalking, making harassing interstate calls and threatening to kill President Trump, First Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California Bill Essayli announced on X.

He said that Southworth led a harassment campaign against the family of one of Trump's personal attorneys.

"Southworth is charged with posting videos calling for President Trump’s assassination, then targeted the family of the President’s personal attorney by publishing their home address and phone numbers, and leaving voicemails threatening 'justice comes to your door," Essayli said.

The act of publicly revealing personal information of public officials and celebrities without their consent is known as "doxxing" and is usually done with the intent to harass, shame or cause harm.

"Threats against the President of the United States are federal crimes. We will not tolerate threats of political violence in the United States. My office will prosecute anyone who crosses that line to the fullest extent of the law," the U.S. attorney wrote in a statement on X.

On Southworth's website "Holy Menace," which is still live at time of publication, the podcaster sells $5 stickers that say "Kill Trump."

While being taken into custody by agents, Southworth yelled, "Donald Trump is a pedophile. The country has fallen!" according to the New York Post, which had a photographer present at the time of his arrest.

Court documents obtained by the publication allegedly state that on April 7, 2026, Southworth posted a video on his Instagram account that contained a series of threats against Trump.

"I have been vocal in calling for the execution of Donald Trump," he allegedly said. "This government is illegitimate and out of control. It’s time for course correction. Kill Donald Trump."

The documents allegedly include a myriad of other examples of Southworth making threatening comments against the president, but the papers are not publicly available.

"Anyone who engages in or endorses political violence or assassination culture must be condemned in the harshest terms possible," White House spokesperson Davis Ingle told Fox News Digital.

"They should also immediately seek psychiatric help to treat their severe and debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has warped their brains and made them sick in the head."

In the late 2000s, Southworth hosted the Christian reality TV show "The Remix," which aired on some of the largest Christian networks in the country, including National Religious Broadcasters TV. The show featured Christian musicians and bands.

In 2008, Southworth came out as gay. He was subsequently the opening act for gay Christian singer Ray Boltz on the singer's nationwide tour in 2010.

In 2020, he started a podcast called "Yass, Jesus!'" which is described as "an interfaith and sexuality affirming comedy podcast that believes you don't have to pick between gay and God." He cohosts the show with "Mean Girls" actor Daniel Franzese, who is also gay.

SEC files bombshell lawsuit against LSU, Lane Kiffin while pro players fight for college eligibility in court

The Southeastern Conference (SEC) blitzed LSU on Thursday with a lawsuit as Commissioner Greg Sankey and others were in court over NCAA eligibility for professional athletes.

The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama Southern Division around 11:40 a.m. Central time as the hearing over eligibility got underway.

The lawsuit named the university, school president Wade Rousse, vice president and athletics director Verge Ausberry and head football coach Lane Kiffin as defendants. Sankey was being questioned by the plaintiffs as the SEC's lawsuit against LSU and Kiffin hit the court portal, according to OutKick's Trey Wallace, who stepped out of court in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to report.

Coincidence? Probably not.

The lawsuit alleged that the defendants "waged a deliberate and coordinated campaign to recruit professional athletes to play football for LSU during the 2026-27 season, including players who signed NFL contracts with the Cleveland Browns, New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers."

"Defendants have also expressed their unequivocal intent to place those athletes on LSU’s official football roster and allow them to participate in football games during the upcoming season."

The SEC says in the lawsuit that while LSU and other member schools "affirmed" that professional athletes should be barred from returning to the collegiate field, the "defendants have continued to campaign to engage in willful efforts to recruit and soon roster professional athletes in direct defiance of the Professionalism rules."

The SEC called LSU’s alleged efforts to play professional athletes "detrimental to the Conference and contrary to its core purpose" and that LSU "threatens to cause further substantial harm if not curbed."

OutKick reached out to LSU for comment.

The lawsuit was filed as athletes seek a ruling that could clear the way for them to play this fall. The SEC filed a brief in the case on Wednesday in which it stated that the question before the judge should be narrowed on whether the conference "can enforce and require its member institutions to comply with SEC rules."

Sankey provided an affidavit that stated that SEC presidents voted unanimously (15-0) in favor of the new rules with Rousse abstaining.

Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill, who also attended Thursday’s hearing, wrote in a brief that the NCAA had subjected athletes in the case to a "classic bait-and-switch."

"The NCAA's ever-changing rules have consequences beyond these individual athletes," Murrill said. "They affect the universities that recruit them, the other student-athletes with whom they compete, and the coaches and administrators responsible for complying with an increasingly complicated set of rules."

FOX News Media will honor the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on America with extensive multiplatform special programming, the company announced on Thursday.

On the somber anniversary, and in the days leading up to it, Fox News personalities and correspondents will present commemorative packages and interviews while reporting live from locations across New York, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania.

"FOX & Friends" will spend the week of Sept. 7 broadcasting live from several locations tied to the horrific day. Co-host Steve Doocy, who was broadcasting live alongside co-host Brian Kilmeade on the morning of the attacks in 2001, will host the program’s flagship "Breakfast with Friends" series live from the historic O’Hara’s Pub in New York City just two blocks from Ground Zero.

MASSIVE PIECE OF 9/11 HISTORY MAKES STUNNING 10,500-MILE JOURNEY ACROSS AMERICA

Doocy will then travel to Washington, D.C., on Tuesday and speak with Tunnel to Towers Foundation chairman and CEO Frank Siller. The show will also feature the Steel Across America tour — a historic coast-to-coast campaign honoring those who sacrificed their lives on 9/11 — arriving at the White House.

Doocy will broadcast live from Shanksville, Pennsylvania, the crash site of United Airlines Flight 93, on Thursday.

On Friday, Fox News Channel’s special coverage will commence with "FOX & Friends" co-hosts Kilmeade, Ainsley Earhardt and Lawrence Jones broadcasting live from the Hyatt House in Jersey City, overlooking the New York City skyline. Doocy will contribute live from Ground Zero.

"America’s Newsroom" co-anchors Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino will broadcast live from Brookfield Place overlooking the World Trade Center campus in downtown Manhattan. The reading of the victims’ names from the National September 11 Memorial & Museum is also expected to air during "America’s Newsroom."

Blue state governor candidate claims he ‘met Satan in person’ in resurfaced podcast episode

Colorado's Republican gubernatorial nominee claimed in a resurfaced podcast episode that he "met Satan in person" through another person.

Talking Points Memo first reported that Colorado GOP gubernatorial nominee Victor Marx, a Marine veteran and Christian ministry leader, claimed in a 2020 episode of his podcast, "I’ve met the devil" and "I’ve met Satan in person, through a person."

According to Marx’s account on his podcast, the encounter occurred when he was praying for a girl in a high-security youth prison in Texas. He said, "This girl started manifesting a demon" and emphasized, "it was so real that all the other locked up girls, all the other gang members, man, they all kind of huddled in a corner."

Marx described the encounter as "horrible," saying, "This demon… just really manifested pretty nasty." He said that when he asked the demon its name, it responded, "I am Satan." He added, "If you think I’m joking, I’m not."

Though Marx described the little girl as "just adorable," he said he could tell "she had a demon in her."

Marx is the founder of All Things Possible Ministries, a Christian ministry whose website says it is devoted to "setting captives free spiritually, emotionally and physically."

Mamdani gives influencers special access as Signal use raises records-law questions

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is giving special access to a network of approximately 200 social media influencers who take City Hall talking points and videos to promote municipal programs online to residents, according to a new report.

The report, by the Columbia Journalism Review, highlights that the online personalities get their talking points through an encrypted Signal group text, called "NYC Creators Announcements."

Signal offers a disappearing-messages feature that can automatically delete messages after a set period of time if enabled. It is unclear whether that feature is active in the Mamdani administration’s group, raising questions about compliance with city record-keeping laws.

Questioned by reporters whether the use of Signal possibly breaks city laws, Mamdani said, "My administration will always strive to fully comply with all legal requirements, including those that relate to the preservation of city records."

"If there are any departures from what is legally required, my administration will look into it immediately and take corrective action," Mamdani added on Wednesday.

The use of Signal for government communications made major headlines last year, when then-Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth came under fire after sensitive, real-time details about U.S. military strikes were shared in a Signal group that included a journalist.

The Columbia Journalism Review report also said influencers are not paid by the city for participating in the group or for their coverage, although some receive payments from marketing and advertising firms with contracts from city agencies for work on specific messaging campaigns. The municipal programs promoted include voting, healthcare, immigration and tenants’ rights, participatory budgeting and composting.

City employees told researchers the payments to influencers for their work ranged from $5,000 to $20,000 per campaign, according to the report.

The Signal group was formed out of Creators4Zohran, a group that supported Mamdani’s 2025 mayoral campaign. Mamdani rocked the political world by winning election as the first socialist mayor of the nation's most populous city.

The group chat is steered by Emilia Rowland, the New York City director of new media and cultural communications. Rowland and her staff push out daily updates, talking points, and clips that the influencers can use in their posts.

The chat operates like a traditional press list used by communications teams to send updates and information to reporters.

Cities are increasingly using influencers to promote municipal services, policies and to engage the public more directly than through traditional media.

"New Yorkers get their news in a wide variety of ways, and it is our responsibility to ensure that we communicate information from city government directly to the people of the city, whether that means to all of you, to TV, to radio, to social media, to content creators and so on and so forth," Mamdani emphasized.

GOP Sen Thom Tillis urges Trump to replace Pete Hegseth, blasts Pentagon leadership

Outgoing Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., called for President Donald Trump to replace War Secretary Pete Hegseth, slamming the Pentagon leader following the news that Army Secretary Dan Driscoll was resigning.

"I urge the President to find a new leader at the Pentagon who will retain and empower our military talent rather than diminish it," Tillis declared in a fiery Wednesday post on X.

Tillis praised Driscoll in the post — and apparently referring to ex-Army chief of staff Gen. Randy George (ret.), the senator declared, "He and General George began a transformative period of innovation in how we array our forces and equip our Soldiers. He challenged our legacy approach to manning and procurement. Most of all, he cared deeply about the men and women in our Army formations and quickly earned their respect."

But Tillis excoriated Hegseth.

"If we had a @SecWar who maintained the same priorities and forward-thinking, he would be fighting to retain talented leaders like Dan and the many flag officers he has forced into retirement. Instead, he is creating a leadership void at the top of our military ranks," the senator wrote.

"I served on Senate Armed Services for 8 years and as chair or ranking member of the Personnel and Readiness subcommittee. Driscoll, in a Tuesday statement issued on the official Secretary of the Army X account, noted that Wednesday would be his final full day in the position.

Burning Man's Orgy Dome has been erected once again

There's good news on the Orgy Dome front. Burning Man will take place with its special tents fully erected. Last year's pounding took it out.

But the folks responsible for making the magic happen every year asked for help and the people came through for the Orgy Dome.

The NY Post is reporting that the "hedonist hideaway" is "back up and running." They received the donations necessary to erect it.

They're stocked up on protection, and it's a go on getting the dome rocking during this year's festival. Sure there's lost time to make up for, but not without throwing safety out the window.

"We want an atmosphere where people are playing, and not walking around staring at people, or looking at people to pick up on. A lot of our guests, they don’t want to be picked up on by singles," an organizer said of the dome.

I had originally planned to go with another story in this slot, but when this popped up this morning, I took it as a sign. I always go where the romance takes me, and today it took me to the Orgy Dome at Burning Man.

I may still, in the future, use the other story. So I'm not going to spoil it here. The return of the Orgy Dome has far too much romance in it to ignore.

On top of that, it was a slice of good news that I felt went well with the realization that you're not quite as weird as you thought you were.

Illegal alien's ‘inexcusable’ crime sparks interstate clash between GOP sen, Dem gov: ‘You should be ashamed’

Sen. Bernie Moreno, R-Ohio, is demanding answers from Connecticut’s Democratic Gov. Ned Lamont after an Ohio man was killed in a car crash by an illegal immigrant who Moreno says was granted a driver's license by the blue state governor's policy.

"My office has learned that an illegal alien granted a drivers license by the state of Connecticut killed a 29 year old Ohioan in a reckless driving accident," Moreno posted on X on Tuesday night. "While one death alone is an inexcusable tragedy, Connecticut has granted over 60,000 such licenses to illegal aliens, putting countless Americans at risk on the roads. This insanity has to stop."

Moreno also called on Lamont to "immediately apologize for his state’s role in this tragedy while also account for exactly how many illegals have been given Connecticut drivers' licenses and whether or not they have used them to vote in U.S. elections."

Washington Guillermo Naula-Ochoa, 34, was driving a 2024 Ram 3500 westbound in Fulton County, Ohio on Aug. 29 when he allegedly failed to yield at a stop sign and pulled into the intersection of State Route 66, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

THREE-TIME DEPORTED ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT CHARGED WITH KILLING NORTH CAROLINA GIRL, 6, AFTER RUNNING STOP SIGN

Naula-Ochoa’s car then struck a 1993 GMC Suburban driven by Austin J. Karr Grimes, 29, of Fayette, Ohio. Grimes lost control, went partially off the roadway and overturned. He suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two passengers in Naula-Ochoa’s truck were uninjured, while two passengers in Grimes’ vehicle suffered minor injuries. Naula-Ochoa was charged with vehicular manslaughter and failing to yield at a stop sign.

Naula-Ochoa’s booking record at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio (CCNO) shows an immigration detainer lodged against him by federal authorities. Additionally, Naula-Ochoa is listed as "homeless."

"The safest way to arrest and remove criminal illegal aliens from our streets is by lodging arrest detainers," a DHS spokesperson told Fox News Digital, confirming the ICE detainer was placed on Naula-Ochoa, an Ecuadoran national. "7 of the top 10 safest cities in the United States cooperate with ICE. Our message is clear: if you come into our country illegally and break our laws, we will find you, we will arrest you, and we will deport you."

Moreno’s X post was accompanied by a letter sent to Lamont tying him to the Connecticut program that allows for illegal immigrants to be licensed on the road.

"Despite his lack of legal status, Connecticut issued him a driver’s license," Moreno wrote. "Horrifyingly, Connecticut not only permits illegal aliens to receive a driver’s license, but encourages it, all while Americans pay the ultimate price."

Moreno’s letter criticized Connecticut’s drive-only license program, backed by Lamont, which allows certain individuals who cannot establish legal presence in the United States or provide a Social Security number to obtain a license for driving purposes.

"Quite simply, your policies are killing my constituents," Moreno wrote to Lamont, adding, "You should be ashamed of this policy and its dangerous consequences, yet your support for illegal aliens knows no bounds."

Moreno also criticized Lamont’s 2024 proposal to remove the "drive-only" marking from the licenses, arguing that the change would make them difficult to distinguish from other non-REAL ID licenses. Lamont’s office said at the time that the change was intended to protect Connecticut residents from discrimination in other states.

Moreno asked Lamont to provide the number of drive-only licenses issued to people who are unlawfully present, how many recipients have committed crimes, how many registered or voted, and how much the program has cost taxpayers.

"I strongly suggest that you consider joining the vast majority of states that have adopted this common-sense requirement before another American citizen becomes the victim of vehicular manslaughter or is gravely injured by an illegal alien," Moreno wrote.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Lamont said his "heart goes out to the family and friends of Austin J. Karr Grimes, and to all families who lose a loved one to a motor vehicle accident.."

"Drivers must be held accountable for violating traffic laws, especially when it causes a tragic loss of life," Lamont said. "States including Connecticut offer drive-only licenses to undocumented residents to help ensure all drivers are trained, tested, and know the rules of the road. This reduces hit-and-run accidents and brings more drivers into the insurance system who might otherwise be driving uninsured. Undocumented residents in many states already need to drive for work, school, and daily life; it’s safer for everyone when that driving happens within a regulated system."

Moreno responded on X on Thursday, saying, "The answer to the presence of illegal aliens is NOT to 'train them' and allow them on our roads to wreak havoc. The answer is to DEPORT them! Of course, Democrat politicians know this, but need a crop of dependent and obedient voters to keep them in power."

The question of illegal immigrants driving on American roads has become a Trump administration priority, with federal officials arguing that state-issued licenses can make it harder to identify and locate people in the country illegally.

The Justice Department sued New York in 2025 over its "Green Light Law," which allows illegal immigrants to obtain driver’s licenses while restricting the state from sharing DMV information with federal immigration authorities. The administration has also expanded ICE enforcement against criminal illegal immigrants, arguing that local arrests should trigger federal immigration action.

Mehek Cooke, a GOP strategist and attorney in Ohio, told Fox News Digital, "What is especially infuriating is that Connecticut Democrats get to congratulate themselves for being compassionate, while an Ohio family is left grieving the loss of 29-year-old Austin Karr Grimes."

"Connecticut made the policy choice, but Americans hundreds of miles away paid the price." Cooke said. "There is nothing compassionate about a policy that puts the interests of illegal immigrants ahead of the lives and safety of American citizens."

Jewish communities across the U.S. are ramping up their security measures and emergency preparation ahead of Rosh Hashanah and other High Holidays.

Israel's emergency medical service, Magen David Adom, partnered with the U.S.-based Community Security Service to hold trainings for security volunteers at synagogues across the country. Senior paramedic Aryeh Myers told Fox News Digital that community members remain deeply concerned about a rise in antisemitism.

"There is this heightened sense of concern, of worry that these attacks are now a question of when rather than if," Myers said in an interview.

A new report from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) found that Jewish teachers have also faced rampant antisemitism from teachers unions.

The organization surveyed 307 Jewish members of teachers unions, many of whom admitted to censoring themselves and being disappointed with how unions handled concerns about antisemitism.

"What we found is not the work of a few bad actors. It is a structural and cultural failure," ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt said in a statement. "Jewish educators deserve to feel safe and protected in their union spaces. And instead of that, they are self-censoring and fearing backlash for raising concerns."

Sydney Altfield, CEO of Teach Coalition, an organization that advocates for Jewish schools, said the report was particularly concerning because teachers unions were meant to represent and protect all educators.

"What strikes me is that these unions are supposed to be homes for everyone, and [they're] not being that," Altfield told Fox News Digital.

One of the key findings of the report was the high rate at which Jewish educators were self-censoring out of fear of retaliation. According to the ADL, 70% of respondents "somewhat or strongly agreed" that bringing up concerns about how Jews were treated in union spaces "could lead to reputational or professional consequences."

ESPN's Stephen A. Smith was repeatedly confronted over why he said he regretted voting for former Vice President Kamala Harris during a podcast released Wednesday, as hosts Cari Champion and Jemele Hill suggested he was targeting Black women.

"Flagrant and Funny" hosts Champion and Hill questioned Smith about his comments that he regretted supporting Harris in 2024 after he said it was the Democrats' plan all along to install her as the replacement for former President Joe Biden in the presidential race.

Smith referenced the widely criticized moment from ABC’s "The View" on Oct. 8, 2024, when Harris appeared and said she couldn’t think of anything she’d do differently than Joe Biden.

"Because when she went on 'The View' and she sat up there and said she couldn't think of anything that she would do differently, something that Sunny Hostin threw up intentionally as a softball for her to knock out the park. I'm like, when she passed up on that opportunity, this is not a dumb woman. This is a former state attorney general. This is a former senator. This is a former vice president of the United States. She is not dumb. There's only one reason she said that, because her loyalty to Joe Biden usurped everything else," Smith said.

Hill suggested Harris was trying to lean into Biden's accomplishments, and said, "He accomplished a lot."

"But I understand when Sunny gave her that easy layup," Champion pressed. "But still, why was it necessary to say that you regretted voting for Kamala Harris when you knew that would take all of the hard work in which she tried to put together away from what she did?"

Smith said he supported Harris throughout the election and that he made the comments afterward.

"I get where you're coming from, Cari, I really do. I think that it should have been far more upsetting if it was something that I said before the election. I did not. Champion accused Smith of targeting Black women specifically and said he could have made his point about his criticisms without saying he regretted voting for Harris.

Harris's office did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Curtis Houck, the managing editor of the Media Research Center's NewsBusters.org, told Fox News Digital, "This level of refreshing honesty from Stephen A. Smith has sadly been in short supply for far too long. Along with ideological diversity, more commentators and journalists should be willing to admit when they're wrong or express regret. The national media demand the utmost transparency and rigorous reflection from the people they cover, so why not have it go both ways?"

Houck continued, "There's a reason why Smith is succeeding by moving outside his normal ideological bubbles. We need more of that from the ruling class, not less."

During an April interview with Sage Steele, Smith was asked about his comments prior to the 2024 election on Dave Rubin's show about voting for Harris.

"You went on his show, and you said that you voted for Kamala Harris?" Steele asked.

"Yes," Smith responded.

Steele then added, "And that you regretted it," to which Smith answered, "Yeah."

Smith went on to explain that he cast that vote because he believed Harris was capable of compromise, but said he later concluded Democrats still did not understand why they lost.

"I also believed that she was the kind of person that… could work across the aisle," Smith said. "And then when I saw how things were unfolding and how out in the clouds the Democratic Party was even after they lost the election, I just said, ‘There’s no hope.’"

In January 2025, Smith said during an interview with Bill Maher, "Yes, I voted for her, a lot of people voted for her, but in the end, we end up feeling like d--- fools, because we supported it. Dem Senate nominee changes tune on ICE after vowing not 'one more dime' for agency

A Democrat running for the Senate in ruby-red Arkansas once called to defund immigration enforcement, but has since changed her tune.

Arkansas Senate Democratic nominee Hallie Shoffner, a farmer and political newcomer whose first time in the political arena is this midterm cycle, is running to unseat Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., in November.

As Election Day creeps closer, Cotton has gone on the offensive against her, attacking an apparent flip-flop in her position on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the immigration enforcement agency under the Department of Homeland Security that became a political lightning rod in Congress earlier this year.

Shoffner, during an appearance in June at the Immigrant Heritage Month Business Expo in Springdale, Ark., was asked whether she would defund ICE — a position several Democrats running for office have taken this cycle, including progressives Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan and Peggy Flanagan in Minnesota.

"I would vote to defund ICE as it exists right now," Shoffner said. "Immigration and Customs Enforcement was created not that long ago, and it no longer serves the purpose it was originally created for."

"I would not spend one more dime on ICE, because — not just because of the human dignity issue — but also the fact that it is now the largest law enforcement agency in the country," she continued. "It has 10 times the budget of the organization that fights child sex trafficking."

GOP ADVANCES ICE FUNDING PACKAGE AFTER FORCING TRUMP'S CONTROVERSIAL $2B FUND INTO RETREAT

ICE became a political third rail earlier this year after fatal shootings in Minnesota and was at the center of the longest government shutdown in history, when Senate Democrats refused to fund the agency absent stringent reforms.

That prompted Senate Republicans to front-load $70 billion in funding for ICE and Border Patrol earlier this year.

Cotton’s campaign cut Shoffner's comments into attack ads and accused her of donating to former Vice President Kamala Harris 25 times, which prompted Shoffner to further define her position.

In a Facebook post from Tuesday in which Cotton was asked by a voter about Shoffner’s ICE position, she jumped into the comment section to argue, "I don’t want to defund ICE, I want to reform it."

"My opponent wants to defund ICE, just like Democrat socialists Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez and Abdul El-Sayed," Cotton told Fox News Digital. "Doing so would protect criminals from deportation, like the illegal alien gang member who was arrested in Carroll County just days ago. Defunding ICE would make Arkansas more dangerous."

Shoffner’s bid to unseat Cotton, who is running for a third term in the upper chamber, is one of the tougher battles during this midterm cycle for Democrats.

Arkansas hasn’t sent a Democrat to the Senate since former Sen. Mark Pryor, who Cotton defeated in 2014. Shoffner also doesn’t have the backing of the Democratic establishment, including Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., in Washington, D.C.

Shoffner has put distance between herself and Schumer, too, telling Politico in March that while Democrats had found the issue of affordability to be a "magic bullet" at the national level, Arkansans were going to give Schumer "the side eye, because what does he know about affordability?"

Three new companies face Josh Hawley's investigation into AI surveillance and vehicle tracking

Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., is expanding his investigation into alleged privacy violations from Flock Safety cameras to three additional companies amid concerns about the handling of images and data generated by AI-backed surveillance cameras.

Hawley put Motorola Solutions Inc., Verkada Inc. and Axon Enterprise Inc. on notice in a series of letters that the lawmaker sent on Wednesday.

"On August 26th, I wrote to your competitor Flock Safety to express my concerns regarding the size and pervasiveness of its network and demanding answers as to reports of abuse and costly errors from its technology," Hawley’s letter to the three companies reads. "However, Flock does not stand alone in this industry; you and others are building large camera networks, assisted by artificial intelligence, that intrude on the privacy of all Americans."

Hawley, who serves as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee's Subcommittee on Crime and Counterterrorism, has been vocal about his concerns that Flock Safety cameras undermine personal privacy with an AI-powered system that tracks the movements of Americans.

"Americans do not surrender their privacy rights when they drive to work, drop their kids off at school or go to church," Hawley said in a post on X last week. "I’m investigating Flock cameras to determine WHO has access to hundreds of millions of Americans’ data - and what they’re doing with it."

Hawley asked each of the companies to explain how broadly customers can search vehicle data, how long the company retains license plate information, how many confirmed cases of misuse have occurred since 2021 and what safeguards are in place to ensure law enforcement officers provide legitimate justifications before conducting searches.

"We received the letter and have reached out to Senator Hawley’s office to discuss his requests," an Axon spokesperson said. "We welcome the opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to safety and responsible innovation."

A number of politicians have taken action against AI-powered cameras, with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis ordering the removal of all license plate reader cameras from Florida state roads and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott ordering all state agencies to stop spending state money on Flock Safety cameras.

Flock Safety cameras use artificial intelligence to automatically track and identify vehicles and license plates for local law enforcement use. Nationwide concern has grown about whether the AI-backed system should be allowed to track the movement of vehicles without a warrant or the consent of drivers.

About 120,000 Flock Safety cameras operate in every state except Alaska.

Last week, Hawley also sent a letter to Flock Safety, requesting similar information from the company.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, a spokesperson for Flock Safety said the company would comply with the investigation.

The growing backlash against Flock cameras illustrates an unusual convergence: Republicans and far-left activists are arriving at the same target from sharply different ideological directions. While GOP lawmakers are focused on privacy, government overreach and protecting Americans from warrantless tracking, socialist and communist organizers have folded the cameras into a broader campaign against artificial intelligence, policing, immigration enforcement, the construction of data centers and the demonization of the United States as a "police state" and "AI surveillance state."

Over the past year, far-left organizations within a network funded by pro-China, Shanghai-based tech tycoon Neville Roy Singham have built vocal community campaigns against the Flock Safety cameras, while also targeting the construction of data centers. The GOP, including President Donald Trump and administration officials, have been leading voices of support for the continued construction of data centers.

In May, the Party for Socialism and Liberation’s Denver chapter partnered with Indivisible and the far-left Sunrise Movement and promoted a forum examining the "connections between mass surveillance and data centers and how BOTH only serve the needs of billionaires and not our communities."

By July 25, in Tucson, Ariz., the local Party for Socialism and Liberation chapter joined "deFLOCK Tucson" and the "No Desert Data Center Coalition" for an event called "It’s ALL Connected" at the "Global Justice Center" on E. 26th Street.

The promotional material asked what mass surveillance, data centers and electric power had in common. The answer: "IT’S ALL CONNECTED."

In a new report, "The Compute War at Home," commissioned by Consumer Action for a Strong Economy, the authors note that "money, media, organizing capacity and campaign objectives converge in the same ecosystem."

"Issue pairings rarely multiply fourteen-fold in a matter of weeks without a catalyst, particularly when the surge begins immediately after organizers start promoting the connection," the report states.

Florida woman, 70, opens fire inside Port Orange police department lobby, chief says

A 70-year-old Florida woman was confronted by law enforcement Thursday after she allegedly opened fire inside the lobby of the Port Orange Police Department, its chief said.

The department said there is currently "no threat to the community" and "all officers and employees are safe and accounted for" following the incident that unfolded around 8:30 a.m. local time Thursday.

"Shortly after 8 o'clock this morning, we had an individual enter the main lobby of the police department. That person was a 70, roughly 70-year-old White female, holding a firearm, a handgun," Port Orange Police Chief Manuel Marino told reporters at the scene.

"She engages with some of our civilian staff at our front record section, brandishes the firearm at that point. She remains in the lobby for a bit of time, a few minutes, when ultimately she does fire a round inside the lobby in the direction where some of our civilian staff were working," he continued.

"A call went out over the radio, referenced an active shooter or shooting in progress. Our officers responded. She exits the front lobby and is confronted by the officers that are responding to the scene," Marino added.

"At that point, there is an officer-involved shooting. The individual was transported to the hospital, but we're not releasing her name actually pending next to kin notification at this point. We had the three officers were involved. Fortunately, none were injured. And none of our civilian staff suffered any injuries," Marino also said.

The police chief said the Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating the shooting.

Rep Ralph Norman affirms that he'll 'support' ex-rival Sen Darline Graham in election

Rep. Ralph Norman, R-S.C., indicated in a Wednesday post on X that he would "support" Sen. Darline Graham, R-S.C., in South Carolina's U.S. Senate general election contest.

"As I said repeatedly on the campaign trail, my fight was never with other Republicans. It's with the socialist Democrats and the RINOs who enable them," Norman said in part of the post. "I respect the decision of South Carolina voters, and I congratulate Senator Darline Graham on winning the Republican nomination. I will support our Republican nominee in November because defeating the Democrats and protecting our conservative values must remain the priority."

South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster appointed Graham, the sister of the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, to fill the vacancy following her brother's death in July.

Then in August, the new senator, who was backed by President Donald Trump, defeated Norman in the South Carolina special Republican U.S. Senate primary runoff.

During remarks the day he lost the runoff last week, Norman had said he would "support" the senator the "best I can."

But earlier this week, someone asked Norman whether there is "a world where" he would "campaign for or support, even tacitly," Sen. Darline Graham.

"She won the nomination," Norman replied. "What I disagree with, she got all of her money from Washington D.C. The liberal PACs, Lisa Murkowski supported her. That's concerning."

Fox News Digital reached out to Graham's campaign on Thursday but did not immediately hear back. Fox News Digital also reached out to Murkowski's office, which declined to provide comment.

Divers brave deadly 'Mount Everest of shipwrecks' as famed wreck breaks apart

Some 240 feet beneath the ocean lies a shipwreck so dangerous and difficult to explore that divers have dubbed it the "Mount Everest of shipwrecks" — and it's right off the coast of the U.S.

The wreck's depth and unforgiving conditions leave little room for error. "Even expert divers have had challenges," retired U.S. Coast Guard Capt. Aaron Davenport told Fox News Digital.

Now, after 70 years beneath the Atlantic, the Andrea Doria itself is becoming another hazard as it continues to deteriorate.

"The Andrea Doria is breaking apart. And [as] it’s moving around, things are falling," Davenport said.

Longtime Andrea Doria explorer John Moyer, who has made over 100 dives to the wreck, said in a 2022 interview that divers have watched it "decay and fall apart."

Speaking to dive magazine X-Ray Mag, Moyer said the steel hull was collapsing onto itself and described the wreck as being in its "final stage" of flattening.

Previously, Divers Alert Network, a nonprofit diving-safety organization, reported that the Andrea Doria was "rapidly deteriorating," citing research from OceanGate, the company that later operated the Titan submersible that imploded during a dive to the Titanic in 2023.

That deterioration could eventually leave divers unable to experience the legendary wreck as generations before them have — even as it still attracts those willing to brave the risks while they can.

Haunted hull

The Italian liner Andrea Doria collided with the Swedish liner Stockholm off the coast of Nantucket, Massachusetts, on July 25, 1956 — sinking beneath the Atlantic the following morning.

Remarkably, more than 1,600 passengers and crew were rescued from the Andrea Doria, according to the U.S. Coast Guard, which assisted in the rescue effort.

Fifty-two people aboard both vessels were killed in the collision, according to the Coast Guard.

But the Andrea Doria's story did not end when it slipped beneath the Atlantic.

Divers have been drawn to the wreck for decades, lured not only by the challenge of reaching it, but also by the possibility of recovering artifacts and valuables from the famed luxury liner.

As of 2016, at least 17 scuba divers had died in connection with dives to the Andrea Doria, according to Divers Alert Network.

In 2017, British diver Steven Slater, 46, perished during an expedition to the Andrea Doria, bringing the total number of diving deaths to at least 18.

A key part of the Andrea Doria's appeal is how accessible it can be to ordinary divers, said Davenport, who is also a certified scuba diver.

With decades of experience in maritime safety and search-and-rescue operations, Davenport said the Andrea Doria differs from other famous wrecks that may require a submarine to reach.

"Other wrecks like the Titanic … are much deeper, and they require a submarine or some type of pressurized vehicle to get down to it," said Davenport, who is based in Virginia.

"This is a famous wreck that you can get to with scuba tanks."

But that doesn't mean the dive is as easy as it may sound.

Davenport said exploring the wreck requires extensive experience and preparation. "It’s considered the Mount Everest of dives because it’s so challenging, so dangerous," he said.

The expert said the wreck is littered with nets, wires, fishing line and debris, some of which can move or hang inside the deteriorating vessel.

"It’s very easy to get tangled if you’re not careful," Davenport said.

Adding to the danger, the Andrea Doria sank on its side — meaning divers who enter the wreck encounter stairways, corridors and other features turned sideways.

"You can easily get disoriented because then the stairs and everything are sideways," Davenport said.

Despite the hazards, Davenport said the Andrea Doria can still be explored by divers with the right experience, training and preparation.

"A really, really experienced recreational diver could probably do this OK," he said.

Dianna Russini's relationship with Mike Vrabel was 'in clear violation' of standards, The Athletic review says

The Athletic has released a long-awaited standards review about former reporter Dianna Russini's relationship with New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel and it paints the media entity as something of a trusting victim of a reporter who hid truth from her employer.

The report does not attempt to conclude whether Russini had a romantic or physical relationship with Vrabel that helped her reporting through the years.

But the report, authored by The Athletic's editorial director for standards and quality Mike Semel, ultimately decided that the company was uncomfortable with the relationship Russini had with Vrabel.

"Russini’s relationship with Vrabel was in clear violation of The Athletic’s standards," the report reads. "Regardless of whether the relationship was romantic, it was a breach and should have been disclosed."

Semel believes Russini didn't use her platform to promote Vrabel. But he does not delve into the obvious possibility that the reporter used the relationship to help her own career.

"I’ve not found a clear link to conclude that Russini used her platform to help promote Vrabel or help his teams during her time at The Athletic," Semel writes. "That said, there are examples of Russini writing glowingly of Vrabel that in hindsight are awkward or even uncomfortable."

And let's be clear: The Athletic should be "uncomfortable" with Russini covering Vrabel "glowingly" because it raises an unspoken possibility of a quid pro quo exchange between the journalist and the coach that might help her work product

The Athletic report cited only one story by Russini that "likely would not have happened were it not for the connection between Russini and Vrabel."

A source familiar with the report told OutKick that Russini did not speak with Semel for this report nor was her phone available for inspection by The Athletic.

The report states that on April 7, 2026, Russini contacted executives at The Athletic and The New York Times Company to tell them of an impending Page Six article that would suggest a romantic relationship between her and Vrabel.

She told her bosses the story would include photographs of the pair together, taken at a Sedona, Arizona resort. Russini apparently acknowledged a close relationship with Vrabel at that time, "but stressed that it was strictly professional," the report states.

Page Six eventually published photos of Russini and Vrabel on the roof of a bungalow holding hands and embracing. It also published photos of the pair at a pool and at a hot tub together.

It should be noted that The Athletic did not contact Vrabel in authoring this report. It did, however, speak with Russini's friends and colleagues within the company.

The report does not specify if The Athletic asked Russini to provide exculpatory evidence that would alleviate concerns the company might have about a relationship it found in violation of its standards.

And ultimately, The Athletic report makes it clear that Russini lost trust within the company because of the manner she handled the release of the New York Post's information.

"[W]hen first confronted with the photos by The New York Post," Semel explains, "Russini waited two days before telling her editors and managers. She then told a story to explain the photos that did not align with facts, raising issues of trust."

Vrabel has suffered no professional discipline from this episode, neither from the NFL nor the Patriots. Russini resigned her post from The Athletic months ago and even deleted her social media presence.

She has not commented publicly about the issue beyond social media — at least not yet.
