Penguins star teenager Ben Kindel has medical episode during team flight, taken to hospital

The Pittsburgh Penguins turned their plane around after forward Ben Kindel had a "medical episode" during the team's flight.

Kindel, 19, received medical attention on the plane and is in stable condition.

"The Pittsburgh Penguins team plane returned to the Salt Lake City International Airport today shortly after takeoff due to a medical episode involving forward Ben Kindel. Team physician, Dr. Dharmesh Vyas of UPMC, as well as the team’s medical staff were on board and immediately attended to Ben. An ambulance was waiting upon arrival, and he was taken to the University of Utah Hospital for further evaluation. Ben is conscious, alert and in stable condition," the Penguins said in a statement.

"The health and safety of our players, as well as the privacy for their families, are our top priority. The team will provide further updates when appropriate."

The Penguins lost 5-4 to the Utah Mammoth on Monday but did not travel until Tuesday because their next game is not until Thursday.

The Penguins selected Kindel with the No. 11 pick in the 2025 NHL Draft. The British Columbia native made his NHL debut last season, playing 86 games and scoring 19 goals and adding 20 assists for 39 points.

Through nine games this season, Kindel has two goals and two assists. In the team's Monday loss, he played 18 minutes and 53 seconds. Kindel is the youngest player on the team.

Stranger in Biden mask pulls bizarre Texas doorstep stunt as police issue warning

A visitor wearing a Joe Biden mask turned a Texas homeowner’s doorstep into the setting for a bizarre banana snack, prompting a police response and a warning that pranks can lead to dangerous confrontations.

Doorbell camera video shows the unidentified person approaching a Watauga home wearing a mask resembling the former president and what appears to be a "FREEDOM" T-shirt similar to those associated with Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA.

The person runs their fingers over the camera twice, then eats a banana through the mask before walking away.

Watauga police told Fox News Digital that officers responded to a suspicious activity report at approximately 8:05 p.m. Oct. 18. After reviewing the homeowner’s video at the scene, officers found no evidence of a crime.

A search of the surrounding neighborhood turned up no sign of the masked visitor.

The department said it is aware of social media posts describing similar sightings, but no additional reports involving the person have been made directly to police. Officers have not identified any related incidents.

While the doorstep appearance did not result in criminal charges, police cautioned that behavior intended to get a laugh could have serious consequences.

"The department also reminds the public that behavior perceived as threatening can lead to dangerous confrontations, potentially resulting in serious injury," police told Fox News Digital.

Authorities urged residents to call police about concerning behavior instead of confronting individuals themselves.

"We also encourage everyone to exercise good judgment and recognize that behavior intended as a joke or prank can sometimes cause unnecessary concern for others," the department said.

The visitor’s identity and reason for the masked appearance remain unknown. Police said their assessment has not changed.

Royce White exploring legal avenues after WNBA tells Congress he is ineligible to play

Former NBA player Royce White says he plans to explore legal avenues against the WNBA after Commissioner Cathy Engelbert told Congress that he and Enes Kanter Freedom are ineligible to play because they are men.

White told OutKick that Engelbert’s response does not resolve his challenge to the league’s eligibility standards, calling on the WNBA to explain how it defines men and women.

"We plan to explore every legal avenue possible to hold the WNBA and NBA community to their stated standards and values," White said.

Asked whether Engelbert’s letter had officially triggered a previously discussed discrimination lawsuit, White said he could not discuss particulars. He did not announce a filing or provide a timetable for taking legal action.

The dispute centers on White’s and Freedom’s efforts to enter the 2027 WNBA draft after declaring that they identify as women. During the interview, White agreed when asked whether his declaration was "for basketball purposes."

In an Oct. 16 letter responding to Republican lawmakers, Engelbert stated the league’s position directly.

"With respect to your questions regarding eligibility, only women are eligible to play in the WNBA and the individuals you cite in your letter are both men," Engelbert wrote.

The response followed a Sept. 17 inquiry from Rep. Marlin Stutzman, R-Ind., and four Republican colleagues asking how the WNBA defines "women" under its collective bargaining agreement and why White and Freedom had been deemed ineligible. The lawmakers requested answers by Oct. 16.

The agreement states that "only players who are women are eligible to play in the WNBA," but does not specify language concerning gender identity or sex assigned at birth, Front Office Sports reported in August.

Engelbert’s response did not supply a definition of "women" or explain the criteria used to classify White and Freedom as men.

White said that distinction remains central to his challenge.

"No, we’re not letting them off that easy," he said when asked whether Engelbert’s statement represented a step in the right direction.

"She has to define, and the WNBA has to define, what a man and a woman is and why."

White also called for NBA Commissioner Adam Silver to address the dispute.

White added that he has been watching the WNBA Finals and is considering attending games, although he declined to identify which ones, citing security concerns.

The 73-year-old has self-financed a new show called "Meemaw: A Modern Day Fable."

Barr told The Hollywood Reporter this week that she's shopping the sitcom to "Anybody who wants a number one show and is smart enough to take a number one show."

The show also stars Drea de Matteo, Omar Gooding and Randy Quaid who plays Barr’s love interest.

On her firing from the reboot, Barr insists she didn’t intend her infamous tweet about former Obama aide Valerie Jarrett to be racist.

After the tweet, she apologized, and she claimed ABC gave her a choice of signing off on the rights to the show so it could continue as "The Conners" or it would be canceled and everyone would lose their jobs.

"ABC demanded that they would only make [the show] if I were not [in it]. And they called me and said, ‘You have a choice to make: You can sign off on letting us do a show without you [or everyone is out of a job.]’" she claimed.

She continued, "The only thing that mattered to me at the time is I said, ‘I want you to say I’m not a racist and that you know I’m not a racist and that my whole life has been about fighting racism and that you know it.’"

"And [Werner] said, "I will do that once you sign away your rights. And also I promise you, if you sign away your rights for this season, that we’ll make sure that everybody knows you did it to save the jobs of the crew,’" she claimed, via the outlet.

Ryan Day says quarterback Julian Sayin is out 'indefinitely' as Ohio State prepares for season without him

Ohio State head coach Ryan Day delivered bad news for his Buckeyes football program, as quarterback Julian Sayin will be out "indefinitely" because of a shoulder injury.

Day initially said that Sayin would miss "several weeks" after injury his throwing shoulder following Ohio State’s 19-15 win over Indiana this past weekend.

Several weeks have now turned into an indefinite amount of time away from the Buckeyes, and Day admitted the team is preparing as if Sayin won’t be available for the remainder of the regular season, and even worse, the College Football Playoff.

"First off, we’re not going to put any timeline on his recovery, but he is out indefinitely," he told reporters. "So, what we’re trying to do is give Julian and his family some privacy to go through this process. But based on the nature of the injury, we are putting together a plan for him not being available for the regular season and also him not being available for the postseason.

"Based on that, if he’s not able to return this fall, we’ll put a plan together for that as well. That’s really the update I have right now out of respect to him and his family."

Luke Fahey, the true freshman who took over after Sayin went down in the fourth quarter of last week’s victory, will remain the Buckeyes’ starter moving forward. The injury also comes with Ohio State on a bye this weekend before traveling to No. 16 USC for a Halloween matchup.

"When Luke's in there, we just may need to do things just a little bit differently, but the bye week gives us a chance to regroup on that and put our heads together," Day said on Saturday.

Sayin’s injury came after Hoosiers defender Mario Landino hit his throwing shoulder while sacking him. The hit forced Sayin to fumble, and he went to the locker room to look at his ailment. Sayin later returned to the sideline in a sling.

There has not been a specific injury for Sayin, but one can imply just how serious it could be if Day and his coaching staff are preparing as if he might not be available for the entire rest of the season.

Sayin, who was expected to be among the top NFL Draft prospects, threw for 1,772 yards thus far with 17 touchdowns to only two interceptions this season.

Now, all eyes will be looking at Fahey, a three-star recruit out of California, to see if he can keep the Buckeyes as the No. 3 team in college football, if not better.

Ana Navarro clashes with 'The View' co-hosts, declares there's 'no way in hell' she would meet with Trump

"The View" co-host Ana Navarro said Tuesday there was "no way in hell" that she would meet with President Donald Trump.

During a segment on the ABC daytime talk show, the panel discussed Trump's Thursday night dinner with comedian Bill Maher, sports commentator Stephen A. Smith and musician Kid Rock at the White House. This led to a discussion among the co-hosts about whether they would accept an invitation to dinner with the president.

While co-hosts Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin, who previously worked for Trump, said they would accept an invitation, Navarro responded, "Hell to the no."

"There is no way in hell, no way in hell I would want to break bread or be in the same room with a man whose administration is hunting Latinos," Navarro said.

"It’s not 'Lady and the Tramp.' You’re not going to slurp pasta," Haines replied jokingly.

She clarified that she had no interest in meeting with Trump because it would make "zero difference" to his administration.

"I know that he has seen the polls of Latinos going against him, that he’s lost 50 points of support with Latinos, and his administration has doubled down on their cruelty," Navarro said. "They are killing Latinos, chasing them, hunting them, racially profiling them, torturing them, sending them to places in far-off Africa. You think I’m going to go share a meal with him?"

Haines pointed out that Navarro has met with and questioned other Republican politicians, including Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., but Navarro suggested that there were other ways to push back against political figures.

"You know who’s going to hold him accountable? The people who are going to vote in the midterm elections," Navarro said.

Co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Whoopi Goldberg agreed with Navarro, saying there was no real reason to sit down with Trump.

"He’s the criminal-in-chief," Hostin said. "I think that he would not listen, and I don’t think this is a normal presidency. I think it’s abhorrent, and I think it’s abnormal. I think what he’s doing to Latinos, I think what he’s doing to African Americans, I think what he’s doing to the LGBTQ+ community, I think the fact that he’s enriching himself, it’s so disgusting and abhorrent. I don't think I would meet with him."

"This is a man who started out racially profiling people," Goldberg said. "It’s not the first time he’s done it. He’s done it for years, and I cannot, in good conscience, try to reason with someone who has decided that I’m barely human."

Fox News Digital reached out to ABC and the White House for comment but did not immediately receive a response from either.

Despite several co-hosts' refusal to meet with Trump, fellow co-host Joy Behar said in a New York Magazine interview published Friday that she would like to see the president appear on the show.

"I’d love Donald Trump to take the heat," Behar said.

Vice President JD Vance appeared on "The View" in June and sparred with the co-hosts on issues including immigration.

In an interview with "Fox & Friends" Friday, Kid Rock praised the dinner with Trump, Maher and Smith, saying the group had a great conversation despite having different political leanings.

Supermotocross champion Levi Kitchen wants to try tournament bass fishing when he hangs up his helmet

Levi Kitchen just won the 2026 Monster Energy SMX 250 Class World Championship. But the 25-year-old already has his eye on another competitive pursuit for whenever he decides to hang up his helmet.

The Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider is an avid angler who spends much of his downtime on the water. And while he's got plenty left to accomplish on a dirt bike, Kitchen told OutKick OutDoors in an exclusive interview that he'd love to try his hand at tournament fishing someday.

In fact, he's already gotten a little taste of what that world looks like.

Earlier this year, Kitchen participated in the Bassmaster Classic Celebrity Pro-Am, where he teamed up with professional angler Tristan McCormick. The two didn't exactly dominate the leaderboard, but Kitchen came away with a few fish, a new friend and an even greater appreciation for the athletes who make their living chasing bass.

"It was amazing. Me and Tristan, we had a great time," Kitchen said. "I didn't know Tristan going into it. I'd just heard his name, but he's a great dude."

McCormick, who grew up near Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Tennessee, was already familiar with motocross thanks to the amateur racing held there. And Kitchen was pleased to discover that he could hold his own on the fishing side of things, too.

"He actually said I wasn't like, you know, sometimes he gets people that go to those events and they say they can fish a little bit and they really don't know what's going on," Kitchen recalled. "But I was proud to at least catch a few fish. We didn't do great, but it was a blast."

More importantly, the experience gave Kitchen a firsthand look at just how demanding professional bass fishing can be.

"It was an eye-opener, too," he admitted. "I've always said, when I'm done racing, I want to give that a shot. I really do. But I have so much more respect for those guys. If I ever wanted to do that, I'd have to really buckle down. You have to put so much time, so much time into it."

And it's not like Kitchen is a newcomer to fishing.

Growing up in Washington state, he developed a love for the outdoors thanks in part to his father. Around age 14 or 15, he discovered an old fly rod in his dad's shop, started practicing casts in the yard and quickly fell in love with fly fishing.

These days, Kitchen lives in Florida, where bass fishing has become his primary obsession. But he still makes time to return home to Washington for an annual steelhead fishing trip with his father, friends and family — a tradition that has lasted roughly a decade.

"I still love it," Kitchen said. "When the racing's done down the road, you'll probably find me on a river fly fishing a lot, or on a bass boat. Just maybe not Florida in the summertime."

Fishing also provides a welcome contrast to the intensity of professional motocross.

Kitchen said he and fellow rider Malcolm Stewart frequently talk about fishing in Florida, and he suspects the sport appeals to motocross athletes because it's such a departure from their day jobs.

"We get to kind of calm down and be a little more present than when you're just wide open on a dirt bike," he explained.

But there's still a competitive element, even when championship points aren't on the line.

"It's another way to be, I guess, kind of competitive with yourself," Kitchen said. "You obviously don't want to go out there and not catch a fish, but sometimes that happens."

And as much as Kitchen enjoys catching fish, he also appreciates the atmosphere surrounding competitive bass fishing.

At the Bassmaster Classic Pro-Am, he found himself surrounded by athletes and celebrities from across the sports world, including NFL Hall of Famer Randy Moss. Kitchen was particularly amused by Moss' impressive collection of fishing boats.

"First, Randy Moss, I'm like, who's this guy with two of the same specced-out, crazy sweet boats?" Kitchen recalled. "And they're like, 'Oh, that's Randy.'"

He also noticed something that set the fishing crowd apart from what he's accustomed to in motocross: Competitors were hanging out together at the hotel bar the night before the tournament.

"You do not see that in dirt bike racing," he said. "They put their game face on when it's time to fish, but just the whole event and weekend is pretty laid-back, which is kind of my style."

Of course, Kitchen isn't preparing to trade his Kawasaki for a bass boat just yet.

Levi Kitchen has big plans for 2027 season

The newly crowned 250 SMX World Champion, who helped end a seven-year championship drought for Pro Circuit Kawasaki, has made it clear that he wants a long career in motocross.

After recovering from a serious crash at Daytona in 2025, Kitchen said he's learned the importance of racing smarter and protecting his longevity in the sport.

"I want to race for a lot more years to come," he said.

And he's certainly not satisfied with one championship. His goals for 2027 include winning both a Supercross and a Pro Motocross title before eventually moving up from the 250 class.

So, no, Levi Kitchen isn't walking away from moto anytime soon.

But when the day finally comes to hang up the helmet, don't be surprised if The Chef trades his dirt bike for a bass boat.

New York is getting roasted for an awkward giveaway T-shirt gaffe, made funnier by the team proudly posting the evidence on social media.

Ahead of the ring ceremony on Tuesday, the Knicks previewed the shirts draped across every seat in the arena.

When that 2025-26 banner finally joins 1970 and 1973 to mark the franchise's third championship, it officially closes a miserable half-century drought, cementing this team into New York sports immortality.

Keeping that crown will be a nightmare. The East got a lot meaner over the summer, headlined by LeBron James taking his talents to Philadelphia. LeBron hunting one last ring with the Sixers feels cooked up specifically to ruin New York's party.

For now, the Knicks are on top of the basketball world.

Count Dani Watt as the lone voice in the NFL wilderness questioning the league's wisdom about playing Sunday's game in France amid civil unrest that has rocked Paris and other parts of the country.

Even as the league's march toward playing its first-ever game in France seems inexorable with no one else publicly questioning going into a riot-torn country, Watt asked one simple question on her Instagram story relating to how the game remains on schedule:

"Tell me how this one makes sense???" Watt posted.

Dani Watt is T.J. Watt's wife.

T.J. Watt is one of the Pittsburgh Steelers' best players and perhaps their best defensive player.

And as such, he's scheduled to board a charter flight with his teammates to France on Thursday in advance of the Steelers playing the New Orleans Saints at Stade de France, 20 miles or so from the center of Paris, where cars were burned and stores have been looted in recent days.

You know what else Dani Watt is?

She's the first person connected to the NFL to ask this fundamental and logical question. No one else has done that.

No one else – not any coach, player or even any politician in either Louisiana or Pennsylvania – has been so candid about what is about to happen.

You know what the NFL hasn't been vigilant about? Stuff that hasn't happened. Stuff that might happen.

The situation on the ground is unpredictable because the students, communists, anarchists, anti-Israel and other protesters that have collaborated to make France a worse place to visit in recent days might do something no one expects.

No one knows what that could be because these people are not predictable. They don't always run a quarterback sneak on fourth-and-1.

The Smokin' Charley Hull that we all know and love almost became an unrecognizable forehead tattooed version of herself. The LPGA star and everyone else has a friend of hers to thank for not going the forehead tattoo route.

She revealed during a discussion with Golfweek that a night out drinking at a club in Ibiza at just 17 ended with her receiving a tattoo on her foot. It was a tattoo that read "hold tight" and it nearly ended up across her forehead.

When asked if she was to get a tattoo, what she would get, Charley revealed that she already had a few and told the story about her drunken night out.

"I’ve got three tattoos. I’ve got one on my foot. I got drunk when I was in Ibiza when I was 17 years old. Me and my friend James went out partying," she explained.

"I was coming back from the club, and I thought it would be a great idea to get a tattoo across my head, because me and my best mate, James, our favorite thing we always said to each other was 'Hold tight, hold tight.'"

She continued, "He wouldn’t let me get it on my forehead. Instead, I got it on my foot and it says, 'hold tight.' He got a matching one on his arm."

The next morning, Charley woke up hungover without any memory whatsoever of getting a tattoo, let alone trying to get one on her forehead.

"'Bloody hell, was I that drunk last night? I walked back with a plastic bag on my foot.' He said, 'No, Charley. That's the wrapping after you've had your tattoo,'" she said.

"I was like, 'What? I got a tattoo?' He said, 'Yeah, you were trying to get it on your forehead and we had to stop you there.'"

Charley's other two tattoos don't have quite the story that this one does. And neither of them ended up on her forehead.

She has her ex-husband's name on her wrist, which she says she's tried to have removed, and a lightning bolt on her finger to match a tattoo another of her friends has.

The helicopter that new 76ers superstar LeBron James uses to commute between New York and Philadelphia remains a topic of conversation in NBA circles. Just ahead of the league’s 2026-27 season, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver characterized the Fanatics-branded aircraft and the financial structure of the arrangement as "perfectly appropriate."

James played in the Sixers’ preseason finale Friday and was asked about the chatter surrounding his preferred method of travel on days when he needs to commute from the team’s facility to New York City.

"Yeah, I’ve done it before," and described the rotorcraft as "just another way of transportation."

"That’s all," James added.

Fanatics, which was founded by former 76ers minority owner Michael Rubin, is covering the costs associated with transporting James on the roughly 40-minute, one-way trip.

According to multiple reports, James’ estimated commute costs for Sixers home games are expected to total just under $1 million this season, depending on how often he uses the helicopter. The Athletic calculated that flying James to and from 41 home games at $4,000 per flight would create a $328,000 tab. That figure does not include trips for practices, though it also does not account for flight cancellations.

A convicted bank robber allegedly returned to a familiar disguise while robbing two Florida banks on supervised release, donning an "old man" mask and fleeing in a getaway vehicle tied to his earlier crimes, federal authorities said.

David Sartin Jr., 40, of St. Petersburg, faces two bank robbery charges after investigators say he targeted banks weeks apart while concealing his face behind a prosthetic mask with gray facial hair.

The allegations follow a sentence of more than 10 years in federal prison in a case involving five Texas bank robberies, during which Sartin wore a similar disguise, according to a criminal complaint reviewed by Fox News Digital.

Authorities say he escaped with $2,900, wedging a yellow wet-floor sign between the exit doors before fleeing toward a nearby church.

Surveillance video showed the suspect retrieving a bicycle, riding into a nature preserve and leaving the area in a Toyota FJ Cruiser, according to the affidavit.

On Sept. 15, a similarly disguised suspect entered a Truist Bank in St. Petersburg wearing a flat cap, glasses, a sports jacket and an "old man" mask with a gray mustache and whiskers.

He handed a teller a note demanding cash without dye and fled with approximately $2,554, according to the complaint.

The teller suspected the man was wearing a mask and told investigators he "did not move like an old man would," the FBI agent wrote.

By then, the FBI was monitoring Sartin’s home with a surveillance camera. Video captured the Toyota leaving before the second robbery and returning afterward, when a man resembling Sartin unloaded a bicycle, according to the affidavit.

The following evening, investigators watched Sartin change the vehicle’s appearance. Investigators said he spray-painted the vehicle’s white roof black.

Sartin was arrested Sept. 19 on a warrant for violating his supervised release. Searches uncovered a bicycle and clothing similar to those seen in the robbery video, authorities said.

Agents searching his storage unit found an "old man" mask they said matched the disguise worn during both robberies, along with glasses, clothing and a fake handgun.

In a guest room where Sartin occasionally stayed, investigators also found another mask and a journal identifying him as its author. Its title page included the words, "God’s Best friend is a Bank Robber!" according to the complaint.

Sartin’s previous convictions stretch back nearly two decades. He was convicted of attempted bank robbery in Mississippi in 2008 following a failed holdup involving Halloween masks and disguises.

In 2018, he was sentenced to 10 years and one month in federal prison in the Texas bank robbery case.

He now faces up to 20 years in prison on each new robbery count if convicted, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida.

NAACP requests Pennsylvania home pull Halloween decorations hanging fake bodies from trees

The Bucks County NAACP called for a Pennsylvania home to remove its Halloween decorations on Thursday, accusing the display of carrying a "painful historical significance" for Black Americans.

In a statement on social media, the Bucks County NAACP reported on a complaint earlier this month regarding a home featuring fake bodies wrapped in black body bags and hung from trees. The organization felt "deeply concerned" over this display, remarking that "something can be legally permissible and still be profoundly harmful."

"For Black Americans, this imagery carries a painful historical significance rooted in lynching and racial terror," Bucks County NAACP said. "While we recognize that Halloween decorations are often intended to frighten or shock, intent does not erase impact."

In a statement to Fox News Digital, the Bucks County NAACP confirmed the council has responded to their concerns and has spoken to the homeowner at the heart of the conflict. The organization also clarified that it has not advocated for government censorship or asserted that the resident committed a crime with the display.

"We are encouraging the homeowner to voluntarily reconsider the display and are interested in working with borough leadership on opportunities for community education and constructive dialogue. Ultimately, our goal is not to assign motives or create division. It is to encourage historical awareness, empathy, and respect for the experiences of others. We cannot begin to bridge divides we refuse to acknowledge," Bucks County NAACP President Adrienne King told Fox News Digital.

Major League Baseball is viewed as one of the more traditional sports, along with golf, where an expected standard developed over 150 years of history. But things change over time, and in recent years, there's been a concerted effort to allow players to show more personality, be more demonstrative, and celebrate their success.

Some pitchers now demonstrably react after striking out opposing hitters, to varying degrees. Mets reliever Jefry Yan being the most prominent example. Many hitters are now more willing to wear their emotions on their sleeve, in moments big and small.

How you feel about this can relate to your age, the generation you grew up watching, or willingness to change with the times. But there are celebrations, and then there are celebrations. Monday night, in Game 6 of the American League Championship Series between the Tampa Bay Rays and Cleveland Guardians, we had the latter.

Needing a win to get to the World Series, the Rays were up 3-1 in the bottom of the seventh inning, facing Cleveland's best reliever, Cade Smith. Caminero came up with a runner at first and nobody out, crushing a line drive to left that hit the foul pole for a two-run homer.

A huge moment for the 23-year-old second-year player that put his team one step closer to a championship. And Caminero enjoyed it. Really, really enjoyed it.

At nearly 39 seconds, it was the second-slowest home run trot in the Statcast tracking era, per MLB.com's Sarah Lang. 39 seconds! To run the bases. And it's not just Caminero.

In game two of the NLCS between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers, catcher William Contreras hit a game-tying home run in the bottom of the fifth and, again, admired it and took an extraordinary amount of time to get around the bases.

Reactions to Caminero's example were, well, mixed, to say the least.

ESPN's Jeff Passan posted the video on X, "This is how you celebrate a home run in a game that could send you to the World Series. Junior Caminero is ready."

Other fans called it a "disgrace," comparing it to how Derek Jeter would celebrate a big homer. One fan wrote, "Junior Caminero is a disgrace to the game of baseball. Imagine someone on the Yankees acting like this in a big playoff game. Imagine playing in the same division as Derek Jeter and acting this classless. There’s an argument that the Rays should bench Caminero. This isn’t how you act."

Another had a similar sentiment, calling it a "slap in the face" to baseball.

"An absolute disgrace to baseball and everything this great game stands for! I first saw this video when Fry Daddy posted it, and I still can’t believe what I witnessed. No other sport has the number of "unwritten" rules that baseball has traditionally had in place. Don't show up the other team being one of them. But the celebrations this postseason raise the question, should those "rules" exist in the first place?

There are two valid sides to it; one says that baseball is about tradition and big celebrations are against the tradition of celebrating like you've been there before. The other is that players showing their personalities and emotions is important to modernize the game and bring in fans who enjoy seeing how much the moment means. Even Shohei Ohtani, who is rarely demonstrative, had a big celebration after hitting a home run in game four of the NLCS.

Cade Smith, the closer who gave up the homer to Caminero, was asked his thoughts about the celebration after the game and had a magnanimous answer, saying, "It's not my style but I guess if I don’t like it, I shouldn’t give up home runs."

Videos of Caminero's home-run, uh, walking trot, exploded on social media, and isn't that what MLB wants? Fans who don't normally see baseball to get the passion and energy and excitement that the postseason brings? On the other hand, though, is that the best example of it?

Though, again, if you're going to celebrate anything, a huge home run to give your team a stronger chance to reach the World Series is probably the time to do it. Caminero and Contreras will have a chance to celebrate in the actual World Series when it starts on Friday. Just imagine if one of them hits a walk-off homer.

American Airlines jet suffers brake trouble, blown tire after landing at Chicago O'Hare: FAA

An American Airlines flight from Spain experienced brake issues and a blown tire after landing at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport on Tuesday afternoon.

American Airlines Flight 41, a Boeing 787-800 traveling from Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport in Spain, landed safely at O'Hare around 2:30 p.m. local time, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) told Fox News Digital in a statement.

The FAA said the crew reported a brake issue followed by "a blown tire" after landing.

"Passengers deplaned via stairs and were bused to the terminal," the FAA said, adding that the agency "will investigate."

American Airlines said first responders met the aircraft "out of an abundance of caution" and that passengers were safely transported to the terminal by bus.

The airline said the aircraft has been taken out of service for inspection by its maintenance team and apologized to customers for the experience.

Bill Ackman sounds off on 'crazy, radicalized' Democratic Party, argues it's in 'worst place it's ever been'

Investor Bill Ackman called the Democratic Party "crazy, radicalized and anti-American" during an interview on Tuesday, arguing that the party is "in a very bad place."

"I think the Democratic Party is in the worst place it's ever been, in the 250-year history of the country," Ackman told Katie Miller, host of the "Katie Miller Podcast." "I think it's become like this crazy, radicalized, you know, anti-American thing. I think it's — and by the way, I think there's some very high-quality Democrats, you know, senators and, sure, some congressmen — but the party itself, I think, is in a very bad place."

Ackman specifically named Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., as someone he used to be friendly with but now believes has "compromised" on his values.

"And, you know, that's the really low point for politicians when they'll compromise on their values, and they'll support, you know, a quasi-terrorist, perhaps running for Senate in Michigan, because they have to for the party," Ackman said. "Stuff like that to me is, or terrorist supporter, is not, that's, I find that pretty, deeply concerning."

Schumer's office did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

"Chuck Schumer has been in Washington long enough to know exactly what’s happening to his party. The question isn’t whether he sees it. It’s whether he’s willing to do anything about it," Y. David Scharf, chair of Morrison Cohen’s government strategies and controversies practice, told Fox News Digital of Ackman's remarks.

"There’s something remarkable about watching one of the most powerful Jewish Democrats in America struggle to stand up to the very people in his party who are alienating Jewish voters," he continued. "Bill Ackman isn’t asking Schumer to become a Republican. He’s asking him to act like the Democrat he spent decades telling us he was."

The controversy followed a Washington Free Beacon report about social media posts in which El-Sayed's half-sister, Eman Abdelhadi, described her family's history with the Muslim Brotherhood.

In one 2012 post, Abdelhadi described a conversation with her and El-Sayed's mother, Fatten Elkomy, about her involvement with the organization during college in Egypt.

"Had an amazing talk with my mom about her activism in the Muslim Brotherhood during the early '70s while she was in college #respect," she posted to X.

El-Sayed has denied any family connections to the group. During a recent interview with NBC's "Meet the Press," El-Sayed rejected the assertions when asked to set the record straight.

During a town hall on Saturday, El-Sayed responded to a man identified as Tommy, asking him whether he would disavow the Muslim Brotherhood.

According to the outlet, it was created for Queen Mary in 1913 by the House of Garrard using pearls and diamonds already owned by her family. Mary modeled it after a tiara owned by her grandmother, Princess Augusta, Duchess of Cambridge. The original tiara is believed to be held in a private collection.

The Court Jeweller reported that when Mary commissioned the piece, she "sacrificed a tiara from her own jewelry collection, the Ladies of England tiara, to make it."

When Mary died in 1953, she left the Lover's Knot tiara to her granddaughter, Queen Elizabeth II, who wore it on several occasions. In 1981, she loaned it to her daughter-in-law, Princess Diana, the outlet reported.

Queen Camilla opted for the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, which was one of the late Queen Elizabeth II's favorites. Unlike the Lover's Knot, Queen Elizabeth II wore that headpiece numerous times throughout her 70 years on the throne, People magazine reported. Camilla first wore it in 2023.

The U.S. State Department has escalated its travel warning for an East African nation popular for its wildlife safaris, urging Americans to reconsider visiting amid heightened health concerns and ongoing security threats.

The State Department on Monday raised its travel advisory for Kenya from Level 2, "Exercise Increased Caution," to Level 3, "Reconsider Travel."

Health risks and crime were cited among the reasons for the advisory, along with civil unrest, kidnapping, terrorism and traffic safety concerns.

"Prepare a will," the advisory added. "Establish a proof of life protocol with your loved ones."

In its broader warning about the country, State Department officials said that violent crime "can occur at any time," noting that petty crime "is common" throughout Kenya.

The advisory also noted that solo travelers should exercise caution, and that some Americans have been sexually assaulted in bars, resorts and hotels.

"Local police often are unable to respond effectively to crimes," the advisory said.

Medical services in Kenya are limited, particularly in rural areas, with some facilities lacking essential medicines and equipment.

"Except for a few private medical facilities based in the large urban centers with enhanced capability, many health issues may require medical evacuation at your own expense," officials said. "Medical facilities will usually deny service if payment is not made upfront."

Americans are urged to stay alert in tourist spots, keep a low profile and avoid demonstrations and crowds while visiting the country.

As we saw with the Los Angeles Lakers, James didn’t mind wearing different hats. He played the leading scorer role if needed, facilitated as a pseudo point guard in some cases, and simply moved around the court to allow space for another star that was getting hot on the offensive end.

Philadelphia has 5 strong scorers when they tip off on Tuesday night in Manhattan, which is why the thought of this team fully healthy throughout the season is intriguing.

It’s also why some believe James is simply setting himself up for one more final push for a fifth NBA title ring. This group, in his eyes, is ready to make that run, so could this be his final year in the NBA?

"Now, I haven’t spoken to him about that part of it. But I would say just observing from afar and comprehending where he’s at mentally, he loves the game of basketball," Anthony replied when asked that exact questions. "He also loves challenges, right? I think this is a challenge that he distilled into himself that he’s willing to take on. He understands that this is Year 20-something in the league, and he’s not going to be able to do it the way [he did in the past]. He understands all of that. I don’t think he’s coming into Philly with that mentality.

"I think he’s coming I with, ‘I know I have a high-impact guard in Tyrese [Maxey]. I know I have a high-impact shooting guard in Jaylen Brown on both sides of the basketball. I know I have, when healthy, arguably the best big man in the game of basketball in Joel Embiid.’ He’s seeing all of these pieces – we got a young, explosive V.J. Edgecombe that he’s going to get better from an intellect standpoint. He’s going to learn the little intricacies of the game of basketball that LeBron understands. He’s going to teach that to him.

"I just like Philly, if they get it right and the fit and time, and they get it right early, they’ll be in the driver’s seat."

Judge Trump called a ‘lunatic’ abruptly backs off demand after showdown with DOJ No. 3

A Biden-appointed judge embroiled in a fierce dispute with the Trump administration over the removal of hundreds of trees at a federally owned D. C. golf course reversed course during Monday's nearly seven-hour hearing.

Judge Ana Reyes ended the nearly seven-hour hearing by backing away from her initial demand that Justice Department attorneys arguing the case put their names alongside Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward Jr.’s Sunday filing. Reyes had invoked Rule 11, which requires attorneys to stand behind the factual basis of court filings and can subject them to sanctions for violations.

"Late breaking news," Reyes said. "I'm going to withdraw request that DOJ refile yesterday's brief with identification of who signed it. we've all got better things to spend our time on."

The about-face from Reyes, who hours before the hearing was dubbed a "crazed lunatic" by President Donald Trump on Truth Social, is the latest development in a court battle over Trump's plans to completely renovate East Potomac Golf Links into a "world-class, U.S. Open-caliber course." The lawsuit, which was first filed in February, reached a boiling point earlier this month when the National Park Service removed roughly 430 trees at the golf course over a weekend. The Interior Department said the tree removals were part of a years-old plan to restore the course’s historic design and were unrelated to Trump’s proposed overhaul.

Though the action did not violate a court order, it prompted Reyes to impose a temporary restraining order barring further tree removals. She also was described as "screaming" at the administration attorneys during an Oct. 12 hearing.

The hearing prompted Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward to seek Reyes’ removal from the case, accusing her of bias and "open hostility" toward the Trump administration.

Both Woodward and Trump have called for the release of the court’s audio recordings of the hearings.

"The judge on the case is a crazed lunatic whose courthouse tapes will reveal, may be insane? The tapes have been blocked from usage by the judge," Trump posted Monday hours before the hearing, saying the Trump administration has a "right" to turn the course into a "great, safe, and prestigious" golf course. "Work is scheduled to begin IMMEDIATELY! The finished product will be World Class, and bring income and great prestige back to D.C."

Trump made two other tweets Sunday saying that Interior Department Secretary Doug Burgum and architect Tom Fazio had "developed a plan" to revamp the East Potomac Golf Links into a "World Class Championship Golf Course" and that work would begin November 15.

The tweets prompted Reyes to give the Justice Department an 8 p.m. filing deadline, saying Trump's characterization conflicted with a previous filing that stated there was "no agency action" in Trump's golf course plan.

The filing was signed only by Woodward, which immediately became a point of contention at the start of Monday's hearing.

But Woodward and the attorneys refused. Reyes initially set a 3 p.m. deadline but later extended it until noon Tuesday and offered to allow the attorneys' names to appear on the brief rather than requiring their signatures. In the end, she abandoned the demand completely.

"For those wondering, a common reason high level DOJ appointees sometimes signs briefs boils down to good leadership," Abhishek Kambli, a former federal prosecutor, wrote on X. "If there is something that is likely to be contentious with a judge, a DOJ leader signs their name on the brief so that any issues someone has with the brief is directed at them rather than lower level attorneys. Regardless, it goes without saying that a decision such as this should not be something a judge is inquiring into."

Reyes, appointed by President Joe Biden in 2023, previously faced a Justice Department judicial-misconduct complaint over her handling of litigation challenging Trump’s restrictions on transgender individuals serving in the military.

Common disorder linked to 70% higher death rate, but medication may offer protection

People diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) face a roughly 71% higher overall risk of early death compared to those without the condition, according to a new review published in JAMA Network Open.

However, taking prescription ADHD medication may offer a protective benefit, lowering overall risk of death, the review found.

Researchers analyzed data from 19 observational studies involving nearly 16 million people across three continents to evaluate the long-term effects associated with the condition.

DEMENTIA RISK MORE THAN QUADRUPLES AMONG ADULTS WITH COMMON DISORDER

The review considered both unnatural causes of death, such as injuries and suicide, and natural causes, including physical health conditions like cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

Across all categories, individuals with ADHD experienced elevated mortality rates compared to those without the diagnosis.

"We found that people with ADHD face an increased risk not only of death by suicide and injury, but also of deaths by natural causes, adding to evidence that health inequalities faced by people with ADHD are broad and wide-ranging," senior author Joshua Stott, professor of aging and clinical psychology at University College London (UCL), said in a press release.

The risk of death from suicide was nearly doubled, showing an 89% increase, while the risk of dying from intentional or unintentional injuries, such as motor vehicle accidents, was 55% higher, the study found.

There was also a 27% higher risk of death from natural causes among people with ADHD.

The increased risk of death from natural causes was often tied to long-term health risks like smoking and substance use, as well as executive function challenges that can make it harder to manage chronic conditions, attend doctor’s appointments and follow treatment plans.

In one analysis, researchers checked whether medical treatment changed overall mortality rates.

Among people with ADHD, those taking prescribed ADHD medication had a 25% lower risk of death from any cause compared to those not taking medication, suggesting that effective treatment may lower some of the behavioral effects and health risks associated with the condition.

"ADHD is not by definition a life-limiting condition, as the right support and treatment can help people live long and healthy lives," Stott said.

"Our findings underscore the importance of ensuring that everyone who may have ADHD has access to accurate diagnosis and treatment."

Despite these findings, the researchers emphasized several key limitations.

All included studies were observational, meaning the results show associations rather than direct cause-and-effect relationships.

The findings on ADHD medication came from just three of the 19 studies, so those results are still preliminary and based on a much smaller group of people.

"Our findings provide early evidence to suggest that medication may play an important role in supporting the health of people with ADHD, but this is based on a small number of studies and further research is needed to clarify this link," first author Lucy Corrigan, a research assistant in the University of Liverpool’s Department of Psychology, said in the same press release.

"Medication is just part of the story; many people with ADHD benefit from comprehensive, long-term treatment and support."

Commanders star wide receiver Terry McLaurin out for season with patellar tendon injury, coach says

The reeling Washington Commanders are going to be without one of their biggest offensive weapons.

Star wide receiver Terry McLaurin is out for the remainder of the season with a torn left patellar tendon, coach Dan Quinn announced Tuesday. McLaurin will undergo surgery to repair the injury.

"Man, he brings a lot on and off the field," Quinn said of McLaurin while speaking to reporters. "I felt him in so many unique ways this season from training camp to in-season. For him to even start the game like he did was significant."

The 31-year-old suffered the injury while running a route in the first quarter of the Commanders’ 23-17 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night. He was carted off the field with an air cast on his left leg.

The two-time Pro Bowler has spent his entire eight-year career with the Commanders. In five games this season, he had 15 catches for 230 yards and a touchdown.

Over his career, he has 513 catches for 7,191 yards and 42 touchdowns. Before the 2025 season, McLaurin signed a three-year, $96 million contract extension after a lengthy holdout. The deal runs through the 2028 season.

Next season, he is owed $23.3 million, including $5.35 million guaranteed for injury if he isn't healthy by April 1. That provision could potentially cloud his future with the team.

In McLaurin’s absence, Stefon Diggs, rookie wide receiver Antonio Williams and tight end Chig Okonkwo could see more targets from quarterback Jayden Daniels.

The Commanders are 1-4-1 and sit in last place in the NFC East. They have a bye in Week 7.

Washington Post columnist reinstated after being fired over Charlie Kirk posts gloats about receiving back pay

A columnist took a victory lap Tuesday as The Washington Post was ordered to give her back pay after she challenged her firing last year.

"POV: Channeling my inner Rihanna because I won my case against the @washingtonpost — and they owe me a year’s worth of back pay," Karen Attiah wrote on X while sharing a video of her dancing to a Rihanna song.

In August, an arbitrator ordered the Post to reinstate her employment and give her back pay, saying the paper "did not have good and sufficient cause" and that it "violated" her labor agreement.

"I'm still processing everything, but overall, I am happy I have been vindicated and ordered reinstated with back pay," Attiah told Fox News Digital. "But in the meantime, I just wanted to put on a pretty gold dress, vibe to Rihanna’s music and eat cake! I wanted to be as loud about the win as possible so that other journalists will not be afraid to speak the truth."

Attiah said her post was inspired by a video she liked from her party and "wanted to show that I take celebrating this huge win — for me, the Guild [the Washington Post union] and for journalism — very seriously!"

It remains unclear whether she will formally return to work despite the arbitrator's order. A spokesperson for The Washington Post told Fox News Digital the paper respects the arbitration process and declined to comment further.

Attiah sparked outrage last year for her posts about slain conservative icon Charlie Kirk on the liberal social media platform Bluesky following his assassination.

"Refusing to tear my clothes and smear ashes on my face in performative mourning for a White man that espoused violence is… not the same as violence," Attiah wrote at the time. In a separate post, she wrote, "Part of what keeps America so violent is the insistence that people perform care, empty goodness and absolution for White men who espouse hatred and violence.’"

Critics also slammed Attiah for misquoting Kirk in another post, attributing to him saying, "Black women do not have the brain processing power to be taken seriously. You have to go steal a White person's slot."

On a July 2023 episode of "The Charlie Kirk Show," Kirk actually said, "If we would have said three weeks ago [...] that Joy Reid and Michelle Obama, and Sheila Jackson Lee, and Ketanji Brown Jackson were affirmative-action picks, we would have been called racist. But now they're comin' out and they're saying it for us! They're comin' out, and they're saying, 'I'm only here because of affirmative action.' Yeah, we know. You do not have the brain processing power to otherwise be taken really seriously. You had to go steal a White person's slot to go be taken somewhat seriously."

Following the backlash, Attiah revealed she had been fired by the Post, saying in a termination letter her posts were "unacceptable" and "gross misconduct."

Attiah filed a legal challenge against the Post over her termination last fall, and previously announced in June that she and the paper would enter arbitration.
