Americans win Presidents Cup on depth, Scheffler's complicated Sunday, and an overwhelming sense of false hope

The final tally from the 2026 Presidents Cup read 17-13 in favor of the Americans, and while the U.S. team was able to avoid embarrassment against an inferior International side, you are lying to yourself if you came away from those four days of golf at Medinah feeling optimistic or overly impressed about United States team golf.

The Americans were thoroughly outplayed and outclassed for three consecutive days by the International side, but when Sunday singles rolled around, and it was 12 vs. 12, mano-a-mano, the U.S. was able to do something the International team could not: rely on depth. The average World Ranking for the U.S. team was 15.1 while the International's average was 50.1, and that differential showed when it mattered most.

The Internationals gave away the Presidents Cup. Period.

The Internationals carried a full three-point advantage into Sunday's session, needing just five of a possible 12 points to secure their second Presidents Cup victory ever, but ultimately earned only 2.5 points on the final day. If you turn it around, the Internationals lost 9.5 points of an available 12, which is tough to comprehend.

And yes, even with the Americans having the deeper stable of players and having the advantage of playing on home soil, it's perfectly okay to say that the International side choked away the event.

Ryo Hisatsune was 1-up thru five holes over Cameron Young before losing 3&2. Hideki Matsuyama was 1-up on Collin Morikawa with just four holes to play and couldn't even salvage a half point. Si Woo Kim and Jackson Koivun were all square standing on the 13th tee, and the American rookie who hasn't even been a professional golfer for 90 days at this point went on to earn a 2-up victory. Min Woo Lee was 1-up on Jacob Bridgeman thru 15 holes, blinked, and the American was standing over the Cup-clinching putt on the 18th to win the match 1-up.

Golf is a fickle game, and while the putters collectively warmed up for the Americans down the stretch, it's fair to say that the Internationals bailed the U.S. out down the stretch. There was a sense of relief on the American side instead of accomplishment, which is noteworthy given that the U.S. entered the final day trailing by three points.

Chris Gotterup earning three points as a rookie, Koivun earning 2.5 points while shouldering the pressures of being the next great American player, and the six captain's picks going 6-0 in singles were clear bright spots for the Americans.

Credit is due on those fronts, but it was anything but a clean week for the U.S., both inside the ropes from players and outside the ropes operationally, which was the top objective with the 2027 Ryder Cup across the pond approaching. More on that later.

Scottie Scheffler's bipolar Sunday afternoon

Scottie Scheffler did exactly what was expected of him on Sunday by earning a full point for the U.S. with a 2&1 victory over Nico Echavarria. While the result of the match was never in question, that isn't to say there wasn't any drama involving the World No. 1.

On the 14th hole, a fan yelled during Echavarria's backswing as he hit his tee shot on the Par 4. Scheffler immediately reprimanded the fan, but then went above and beyond when the match made its way onto the green.

Already in for par on the hole, Scheffler conceded a 32-foot par putt to Echavarria. While the gesture was already classy, it also came at a moment where, if Echavarria had missed the lengthy par putt, the match would have gone to dormie, with Scheffler taking a 4-up lead into the final four holes. Instead, the concession extended the match a bit longer before Scheffler closed things out on the 17th hole.

While that was one of the more professional and classy acts we'll ever see on the golf course, the same couldn't be said for Scheffler's post-match interview with NBC's Cara Banks.

Scheffler did not play in the afternoon foursomes session on Saturday, which understandably made headlines. Sitting the No. 1 player in the world with your team trailing by three points was a very bold move from U.S. captain Brandt Snedeker, and one that deserves questions, but Scheffler was in no mood to provide answers.

When asked following his match on Sunday about being sat on Saturday, Scheffler didn't opt to give a generic, media-friendly answer, but instead he put the question back on Banks, asking her if she wanted to talk about Sunday's match.

Scheffler seems like the consummate professional and a genuinely good person – hell, he showed that on Sunday conceding the putt to Echavarria – but his exchange with Banks made no sense. He has had his moments with the media this season where he's made it clear that he doesn't have the time to answer what he sees as dumb questions, but Banks' question was the question of the weekend.

Nobody wants to hear Scheffler talk about beating the No. 61 player in the world on Sunday when the only exciting thing that happened in the match was a fan shouting in a backswing. The golf world does, however, want to know details around the No. 1 player in the world not playing in all five sessions in an event his team was, at the time, being embarrassed in.

Nobody is perfect, and Scheffler is just a human despite his freakish abilities with a golf club in his hand, but the old adage of sometimes you have to do things you don't enjoy applies here. Being the No. 1 player in the world means you have to put on a face, especially in a situation like this at a team event where you're the leader and are asked a totally fair question, and when you have a slip of character, it is going to be criticized.

At the end of the day, Scheffler getting testy with Banks for five seconds is going to be forgotten and has zero effect on his actual job of playing golf, but that doesn't mean we can't call it as we see it, which is simply ridiculous.

Americans may have delivered a heaping pile of false hope

This sentiment surrounding this year's Presidents Cup was no different than every previous edition in that it was supposed to be a building block and gauge for Team USA golf ahead of the following year's Ryder Cup.

The Americans got the storybook ending by dominating Sunday's singles matches, and Snedeker avoided officially being labeled the worst captain in team event history, but if anything remotely similar unfolds at the 2027 Ryder Cup, the Americans will be embarrassed by the Europeans in Ireland.

The Americans will not have the luxury in the Ryder Cup of throwing their 12 players against Europe's 12 players in a three-point deficit and relying on depth to pull them out of a hole.

If the Americans get swept in a session just as they did by the Internationals during Thursday's foursomes, a nightmare will unfold for the U.S. in Ireland in 2027. The United States' inability to even be competitive in the alternate shot format remains a real issue, and if it can not figure something out, it will be a long three days across the pond next year.

The Americans went 2-6 in foursomes during the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black and followed that up with a 2-7 record in foursomes against the Internationals in this year's Presidents Cup. You'd like to say that the law of averages will even things out and the U.S. will show real life in a foursomes session sooner rather than later, but they've been waiting for that to happen for years now.

The U.S. has not been competitive in a Ryder Cup on foreign soil in each of the last three editions overseas and hasn't hoisted the trophy in Europe since doing so in England in 1993. It's long been one of those things that, until it happens, it's tough to imagine it ever will, and the U.S. having to be nearly flawless against an inferior International team definitely doesn't change that.

DHS tears into MS NOW after host touts ‘anti-authoritarian’ ICE monitoring group

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) fired back at MS NOW on Sunday after "Connect with Jacob Soboroff" host Jacob Soboroff highlighted an activist group that trains "ICE Watch" volunteers to monitor federal immigration operations and is now turning some of that organizing toward the midterm elections.

During Saturday's edition of the show, Soboroff discussed reporting about activists who previously monitored U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations and are now turning their attention toward election-related activity. MS NOW's description of the episode said, "ICE watchers once alerted neighbors about the presence of federal agents, now they are protecting the polls."

Soboroff’s segment featured Zachary Mueller, a senior strategist for the nonprofit States at the Core and referenced reporting from the outlet "The Intercept" about activists preparing to monitor polling locations.

States at the Core has described its work as opposing what it views as authoritarianism and has advertised trainings on both ICE monitoring and election protection.

DHS pointed to attacks and threats against immigration officers while arguing that tools used to track federal agents could endanger law enforcement personnel and interfere with operations.

"Shame on MS NOW for promoting efforts to undermine those who keep our communities and streets safe from illegal alien crime," a DHS spokesperson said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "ICE tracking apps put the lives of the men and women of law enforcement in danger as they go after terrorists, vicious gangs and violent criminal rings.

"Our law officers are facing an over 1,600% increase in assaults, a 3,300% increase in vehicle attacks, and an 8,000% increase in death threats. Further, these apps are a method to interfere with law enforcement activities and harbor illegal aliens."

States at the Core said in March that tens of thousands of Americans had attended its ICE Watch training before it launched a program called "Beyond ICE Watch," which sought to expand neighborhood organizing beyond monitoring immigration enforcement.

SEVEN NONCITIZENS CHARGED IN NORTH TEXAS ELECTION-INTEGRITY INVESTIGATION

The organization described its mission in that announcement.

"Our mission is pretty simple. Help everyday people fight authoritarianism; help people fight for their freedoms," States at the Core said.

In September, the group advertised a training that sought to adapt ICE Watch techniques for the midterm elections, including documenting activity around communities and elections.

States at the Core had previously drawn scrutiny for its ICE-monitoring tactics. In February, co-founder Jill Garvey trained "rapid responders" to use the military-derived "SALUTE" observation method — an acronym for size, activity, location, uniform, time and equipment — when documenting federal immigration personnel.

The FBI was also investigating alleged Signal groups used by anti-ICE activists to track, identify and potentially impede federal law enforcement officers. FBI Director Kash Patel said investigations would examine whether the alleged coordination crossed the line into violations of federal law.

DHS has reported a sharp increase in assaults against ICE personnel. The department said 647 assaults occurred between Jan. 20, 2025, and Sept. 20, 2026, compared with 37 during the corresponding period under the Biden administration, representing a 1,649% increase.

DHS told Fox News Digital that it viewed messaging that encourages resistance to immigration enforcement as dangerous.

"Glorifying resistance to lawful immigration enforcement is irresponsible and dismissive of the victims and families who have suffered because of crimes committed by criminal illegal aliens," the spokesperson said. "Assaulting and obstructing ICE law enforcement is a crime and felony. Anyone who assaults law enforcement will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."

Republicans zero in on key player accused of helping Democrat fundraising giant hide foreign cash

FIRST ON FOX: House Republicans' investigation into Democrats' main fundraising platform is heating up on the heels of an explosive report that raised questions about whether left-wing candidates' campaigns were raking in foreign cash.

Top House GOP committee chairs are summoning ActBlue attorney Ronald Machen for a closed-door interview sometime before Oct. 9, Fox News Digital has learned. A letter sent to Machen Monday morning stated that information he previously disclosed to investigators appears to contradict other data that has been collected, specifically on ActBlue's verification standards for making sure a donor is a U.S. citizen.

"On September 11, 2026, you provided a briefing to the House Administration, Judiciary, and Oversight and Government Reform Committees regarding the accuracy of ActBlue CEO Regina Wallace-Jones’s prior statements to Congress about ActBlue’s donor and passport collection processes," the letter said.

"Your review appears to be nothing more than an after-the-fact sugarcoating of ActBlue’s misconduct and Ms. Wallace-Jones’s misrepresentations to the House Administration Committee."

The letter was sent by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Wis., Committee on House Administration Chairman Bryan Steil, R-Wis., and House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., who lead the panels probing ActBlue.

ActBlue is a massive platform for campaigns to raise money that's used by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed and the Democratic leaders of the House and Senate, among others.

Republican lawmakers have long accused the company of having lax verification standards for donors, something ActBlue has said it actively improved since the start of the GOP's probe. But a new report released earlier this month, first reported by Fox News Digital, appears to show employees green-lighting donations despite some questions about where they came from.

FAR-LEFT POLITICIANS STILL USING ACTBLUE AS 88-YEAR-OLD DISPUTES DONATING NEARLY $150,000 TO FUNDRAISING GIANT

Chief among the GOP's concerns is ActBlue's passport number verification. According to the report, the field only requires the correct number of characters for a U.S. passport number rather than a valid code for a donation to be accepted.

The Monday letter also points to a 2024 "contemporaneous review by ActBlue’s then-outside counsel, former Biden White House Counsel Dana Remus" which allegedly found "'a substantial risk that some of the funds' raised for Democrat campaigns and causes by ActBlue 'were impermissible contributions from foreign nationals.'"

Remus' review further found that "passport checks did not always happen" and were "never conducted" when donations were made using third-party fiscal platforms like Apple Pay or PayPal, the letter said.

The Republican chairs said Machen's prior comments to Congress "conceded that your 'forensic' review found that ActBlue processed and accepted donations with foreign indicators even though ActBlue failed to identify a 'passport number' or 'other indicia of eligibility' for the donor.

"Nonetheless, you defended Ms. Wallace-Jones’s representations to Congress by arguing that ActBlue’s compliance and vetting policy was 'as close to 100 percent as it could be,'" the letter said.

"Documents produced to the Committees undercut your assertion. These documents demonstrate that if a donor did not have a U.S. passport or a U.S. address, an ActBlue employee retained the ability to determine an 'alternative method of verifying the [donor’s] citizenship.' This means an ActBlue employee could put 'a placeholder,' including 'ACTBLUEXX,' 'in the passport number field of [the donor’s] ActBlue account.' The placeholder allows ActBlue to accept all subsequent contributions from the donor without requiring a U.S. passport number."

The letter said Machen's review was also limited to 2023, arguing it left out potentially valuable information about 2024.

"As such, the review did not accurately represent the totality of ActBlue’s foreign donation vetting and donor outreach practices during the 2024 election cycle. In fact, documents produced to the Committees show that ActBlue relaxed its vetting practices twice in 2024—data that your narrow 'forensic' review did not capture," the letter said.

It also charged that he disputed Remus' analysis without going into detail on how he established his own findings.

ActBlue has consistently denied any wrongdoing and dismissed Republicans' most recent findings in a statement to Fox News Digital.

"There’s nothing to see here. After we released findings of a third-party forensic analysis that completely undermined a central claim that they have made against ActBlue, Republicans are refusing to move on," ActBlue said. "Instead, they are orchestrating another political stunt before rushing out of town weeks early to go campaign. This coordinated campaign against ActBlue isn’t about the facts, or legislating, it’s about Republicans’ efforts to silence organizations they believe threaten their agenda."

A closed-door interview summons is not the same as a subpoena, which is a legally binding order.

Largest-ever US steel plant is coming to a key red state as Trump unveils $15B investment

President Donald Trump is unveiling Monday plans for a massive steel plant in Iowa that the White House says will be the largest in American history and promises to bring 1,750 permanent jobs to the state.

The roughly $15 billion steel plant is touted as a major new investment and evidence that Trump's economic agenda is bringing heavy manufacturing back to the U.S. with just over a month until the midterms. It will create between 5,000 and 6,000 construction jobs during its first phase.

Trump is expected to make the announcement from the Oval Office at 2 p.m. alongside executives from Mesabi Metallics, a White House official told Fox News Digital. The company plans to build the facility using iron ore from its newly constructed mine in Minnesota.

The Iowa plant is expected to produce 7.5 million tons of steel annually in its first phase before eventually reaching 10 million tons per year, according to the White House. The administration says that would make it the largest steel plant ever built in the U.S.

If completed as planned, the project would represent a significant expansion of American steel-making capacity. At its planned 10 million tons of annual production, the Iowa plant alone would have output equivalent to roughly one-tenth of what the entire U.S. steel industry produced last year.

The project would also create a fully domestic supply chain, according to the White House, using iron ore mined at Mesabi's Minnesota operation to produce finished steel in Iowa.

But the scale of Monday's announcement also comes with a long timeline: Mesabi does not expect the Iowa facility to produce its first steel until 2030.

Trump has frequently highlighted large investment commitments as evidence that his tariffs and other economic policies are encouraging companies to build in the United States rather than invest abroad. The administration has announced hundreds of billions of dollars in planned investments from foreign governments and corporations, many of which are designed to unfold over several years.

Mesabi's Minnesota operation also illustrates the challenges that can accompany large industrial projects. The project traces back nearly two decades and encountered years of financing problems and missed deadlines before Essar Steel Minnesota filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2016. It later emerged from bankruptcy as Mesabi Metallics, and Essar eventually regained control.

The project has since made substantial progress. Mesabi has begun mining and commissioning work at the Minnesota operation, although commercial pellet production has not yet begun. A recent SEC filing by a company that holds a royalty interest in the project said initial DR-grade pellet production is targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026, followed by an eight- to 12-month ramp-up to commercial production.

The White House says the Minnesota operation will ultimately produce 7.5 million tons annually and create roughly 350 permanent jobs.

The administration is also emphasizing the national security implications of the Iowa project. The new plant will be capable of producing high-grade steel used to meet defense-sector requirements, according to the White House, as Washington seeks to strengthen domestic supply chains for materials used by the military and critical infrastructure.

"President Trump is delivering on his promise to rebuild American industry, reshore manufacturing, and create new jobs," White House spokeswoman Taylor Rogers told Fox News Digital.

"Today’s announcement underscores the President’s historic efforts to revitalize the U.S. steel industry—supporting local communities, strengthening supply chains, and protecting our national security," Rogers said. "After decades of decline, this President is restoring America’s industrial competitiveness and securing trillions of dollars in new investment."

The announcement comes as Trump points to tariffs as a tool for encouraging companies to manufacture in the United States. Trump doubled tariffs on steel and aluminum imports to 50% last year, arguing that protecting domestic producers from cheaper foreign competition would rebuild an industry critical to the economy and national security.

The policy has also increased costs for companies that consume steel. S&P Global reported that federal data showed prices for iron and steel rose 10.4% between April 2025 and April 2026, while the steel mill products index climbed 13.3%, even as domestic steel production increased.

Unlike many newer U.S. steel facilities, which are smaller electric arc furnace plants, the Iowa project will be a large-scale integrated steel facility. The White House says it will be the first new "mega-steel" plant built in the United States since the 1960s.

The first phase of the steel plant and the Minnesota mine together represent nearly $18 billion in investment, according to the administration. The White House estimates the first phase will generate approximately $95 billion in economic activity during construction and the plant's first decade of operation.

How QR code clothing works

The basic idea is simple. ShareAScan prints a unique QR code on products such as T-shirts, hoodies, hats, mugs and other merchandise. A person scans the code using the camera already built into a smartphone. No special scanning app is required.

However, the interesting part happens behind that code. Instead of permanently tying the printed QR code to one piece of content, ShareAScan lets the owner change what appears later. The physical code stays the same while the digital experience behind it changes. For example, someone could use a shirt to share a portfolio at a conference and later update the content to promote a project or event.

The company describes its technology as a patent-pending platform connecting physical products with dynamic, user-controlled digital identities. Its September announcement says a single product can become a changing introduction, portfolio, personal message or business card. That makes the concept more interesting than simply printing a website address across your chest.

The idea recently made its way to the Emmys

ShareAScan was founded by sisters Shara and Kailey Zuckerman. Shara is a college student studying business, finance and artificial intelligence, while Kailey is still in high school. The company got a major dose of exposure this month when its QR merchandise was included in gift bags distributed around the 78th Emmy Awards. ShareAScan merchandise went into gift bags for nominees, presenters and performers. Still, the bigger story goes beyond an awards-show gift bag. It is another example of physical products gaining a digital layer that can change long after you buy them.

Your shirt could become a changing digital business card

There are plenty of ways people could use this. A business owner could wear a shirt that introduces a company. A creator could share recent work. Someone at a conference could use it as a digital introduction. Meanwhile, a musician could share new content or an organization could promote an event. Because the material behind the QR code can change, the same physical product can serve different purposes over time.

ShareAScan says purchases start at $19 and current customers do not pay an ongoing subscription fee. The company also tells CyberGuy that customers who buy under the current model will not later face a subscription charge even if its terms change for future customers. That gives the physical product something most ordinary clothing never had before: content that can keep changing after you take it home.

What happens when someone scans your shirt?

ShareAScan tells CyberGuy that scans are anonymous. The company says it collects no information about the scanner unless an owner's access restrictions require it to check whether that scanner is allowed to view the content.

If someone does not have permission, the company says that person simply does not receive access. ShareAScan also says it does not currently give the wearer scan analytics. In other words, wearing one of these products does not give you a dashboard showing who walked by and scanned your code. The company says owners can choose who gets access to their content and can completely delete their account and associated data.

However, there is still another side to privacy: what you decide to reveal. If you make your full name, workplace, photos, social accounts or other personal information publicly available, someone who scans you may learn quite a bit. That is why anyone using connected clothing should look at the experience from a stranger's point of view before wearing it in public.

This required an important clarification from the company. ShareAScan tells CyberGuy that its QR codes cannot point directly to an outside website. Instead, scanning the code first opens the experience hosted through its platform. However, content within that experience can include links. The company says it scans uploads for malicious links, phishing links, pornography and other inappropriate material. It also says people review flagged material.

ShareAScan acknowledges that its screening cannot catch everything. That makes its setup different from a random QR sticker that directly sends your browser to an unknown website. Even so, you should never treat every QR code as automatically safe simply because scanning has become second nature.

The FTC continues to warn about criminals using QR codes to send people to fake websites designed to steal passwords, financial information and other personal data. In a fresh warning published Sept. 3, the agency again advised people to inspect the destination before opening a QR link. So, the familiar security advice still applies whenever you pick up your phone to scan something.

ShareAScan requires users to be 18 or older

Connected clothing could naturally catch the attention of younger users, especially when it links fashion with social content. ShareAScan tells CyberGuy that account holders must be at least 18 years old.

At the same time, the company acknowledges that an age requirement cannot completely stop someone younger from trying to create an account. That makes conversations about public sharing especially important for families. A QR code someone wears outside can potentially expose information to people they have never met.

What happens after you wash the shirt?

A scannable shirt also has to hold up to everyday wear. ShareAScan says its QR codes have been tested through repeated washing and continue to scan after normal use. Of course, a QR code still needs to remain physically readable. Heavy damage, fading or distortion could eventually interfere with any printed code.

There is another longevity issue too. Unlike a normal graphic on a shirt, this feature depends on the online platform behind it. ShareAScan says it plans to keep the platform operating and has purchased insurance intended to help support continued operation. That is worth keeping in mind with any connected product that depends on a company's servers long after the initial purchase.

QR codes are becoming part of the physical world

QR codes are already everywhere, from tickets and restaurant tables to payment screens and packages. Now, they are starting to show up on the things we wear. ShareAScan takes that familiar technology and gives it a more personal use. Instead of linking to one fixed piece of information, the code can connect to content that the owner changes over time.

That means a sweatshirt could introduce your business at a conference, while a T-shirt could share your latest project, interests or something you simply want people to know about you. A quick scan could even become an easy way to start a conversation. But once your clothing can share information about you, it is worth thinking about exactly what you are putting out there. Anything you make public could potentially be seen by someone you have never met.

6 ways to use QR code clothing more safely

If clothing is going to become scannable, a few simple precautions can help you share without giving away too much.

1) Check what strangers can see

Start with your public profile. Look at exactly what appears to someone who does not know you. Avoid exposing your home address, private phone number, personal email or other sensitive information.

2) Use the privacy controls

Review who can access your content. ShareAScan says owners can limit access, so use those controls when you want to share something with a smaller group.

3) Separate public and private information

Create content specifically for public sharing. That can help you avoid giving strangers access to personal accounts filled with years of photos, posts or identifying information.

4) Think before opening anything after a scan

Treat QR codes like links. ShareAScan says it screens content on its platform, but QR codes in general can still lead to trouble. If anything asks for a password, payment information or other sensitive data unexpectedly, stop.

5) Check the destination

Look at the address your phone shows before opening a QR link. The FTC recommends checking for misspellings and switched letters that can signal an impersonation site.

AEW star Pac's death leaves pro wrestling world in disbelief

The death of pro wrestling star Pac left the pro wrestling world in utter disbelief on Sunday night.

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) announced Pac’s death just one day after he wrestled against Andrade El Idolo for the national championship at All Out in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. He was 40.

Many pro wrestlers posted heartfelt tributes to Pac, whose real name is Benjamin Satterley, on social media with many in shock because most had just seen him wrestle on the pay-per-view.

Pac was one of the first wrestlers to sign with All Elite Wrestling in 2019. He was a two-time trios champion and the inaugural all-Atlantic champion. He was a member of The Death Riders faction who supported their leader, Jon Moxley.

He also competed for WWE before joining AEW under the name Adrian Neville. He was a two-time cruiserweight champion, an NXT champion and two-time NXT tag team champion.

Pac got his start on the independent circuit in 2004 and quickly became a fixture at Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. He also performed at Dragon Gate USA, Wrestle Zone Wrestling, One Pro Wrestling, Frontier Wrestling Alliance and elsewhere.

Pro Wrestling Illustrated named him the 11th best wrestler in the world in 2017.

WWE strikes intriguing content partnership as pro wrestling's popularity continues to soar

WWE announced a strategic content partnership with Bleacher Report on Monday.

Bleacher Report will have the global rights to highlights across WWE’s programming, including "Monday Night Raw," "Friday Night SmackDown," NXT and premium live events, the company said in a news release. Bleacher Report will also have a presence at certain WWE premium live events.

"Bleacher Report has long been at the intersection of sports and culture," WWE executive vice president Alex Varga said in a statement. "Our partnership with B/R reinforces WWE’s commitment to bringing our content to a global audience."

Bleacher Report general manager Bennett Spector added, "WWE fans don’t just watch. They are highly engaged, analyze every detail and debate the sport all week long. That’s exactly the kind of passionate fandom B/R and House of Highlights were built for.

"This partnership gives us the opportunity to bring fans closer to the biggest moments happening today while also tapping into the incredible history and personalities that have made WWE part of sports culture for generations."

On the surface, the partnership appeared to be just another way for WWE to further its global reach across social media.

WWE boasts more than 102 million followers on Facebook, 40.1 million followers on TikTok, 35 million followers on Instagram and 13 million followers on X. But the deal comes days after Paramount reached a settlement with states that sued to block the Warner Bros. Discovery takeover.

But it’s worth noting that Bleacher Report is a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Discovery through TNT Sports. WWE’s U.S. competitor All Elite Wrestling (AEW), which is owned by Tony Khan, airs its weekly shows on TNT, TBS and HBO Max. Speculation aside, the WWE and Bleacher Report agreement is striking at a time when interest in pro wrestling – no matter the promotion – is at an all-time high.

Warner Bros. Discovery announced in June 2025 it planned to keep TNT Sports and Bleacher Report under Global Networks, separating it form its TV and film endeavors. Sportico reported in December that was still the plan for the end of 2026.

Bleacher Report previously hosted AEW pay-per-views on its streaming platform before discontinuing it in 2024.

Khan has repeatedly welcomed the merger and reiterated his happiness after All Out over the weekend.

"I think this is exciting because we grew in a situation where the new corporate leadership in 2022, at that time, over four years ago, was something of an unknown entity to us and we really won them over immediately," he said, via Fightful. "It’s something I take a lot of pride in. We’ve been through several different regimes here. When AEW launched, AT&T was still in charge and then it’s been a lot of change with Discovery coming in. There was a period of transition there during 2020, 2021, where a lot of changes were made before Discovery took over in 2022 and they’ve made a lot of changes over the years and for AEW, there have been changes for the better, clearly, as we’ve grown the company and expanded.

FOX News Media CEO Suzanne Scott and President & Executive Editor Jay Wallace honored the 2025 FOX News Media Spotlight Award winners on Thursday during an intimate luncheon.

The FOX News Media Spotlight Awards are an annual tradition for the organization, and management received hundreds of nominations from staff members passionate about celebrating colleagues who earned special recognition. Winners were announced at a network-wide town hall, and they gathered at Avra in midtown Manhattan just blocks away from FOX News Media’s headquarters to celebrate alongside their families and colleagues.

FOX News anchor Bill Hemmer, who hosted the event, welcomed guests before introducing Scott to the stage.

"In a couple of weeks, Fox News Channel will mark 30 years. When we started, we didn’t have a system for recognizing extraordinary people, and there were many," Scott said.

"We were just figuring out how to not lose a satellite and keep a guest on the air from remote locations, forget about competing with MSNBC, which had just launched a few months prior, and CNN, which was the national leader in cable news at the time," Scott added. "But a lot has changed since then."

Scott noted that nowadays, Fox News Channel dominates cable news and regularly competes with and beats the broadcast networks.

The Spotlight Awards launched in 2020, and prizes have since been handed out to staffers on dozens of teams. The annual event gives FOX News Media leaders a chance to show appreciation for individuals who show up every day and keep the company on top.

Wallace then took the stage to hand out the first award, where he was joined by Executive Vice President Scott Wilder and "FOX & Friends" co-hosts Ainsley Earhardt and Lawrence Jones.

Unsung Hero Award

The Unsung Hero Award goes to employees who consistently go above and beyond with work that is vital to FOX News Media but often goes unnoticed. This award recognizes those behind-the-scenes stars who keep everything running, often without fanfare, but always with excellence.

"I think Pat preceded maybe everybody in this room because he’s been here since 1995, and he’s got some good stories," Wilder said before sharing Butler’s astonishing role in covering the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

"Pat drove the truck down there on 9/11, he communicated with our assignment desk by dialing an 800-number from a phone booth because cell phones didn’t work, he told them where he was parking the truck," Wilder said. "He shot all of those live shots that morning… he’s been an unsung hero for a very long time."

AOC gives major hint about 2028 as Democrat civil war looms

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's political future has remained a topic of discussion within the left wing — and there's increasing speculation that she could be set for a collision course with Democrats' top leader in Congress.

The progressive rock star says she's weighing what to do next, whether it be a 2028 presidential run or a bid for the seat currently held by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, a fellow Democrat and New Yorker.

"I know there is a lot of speculation about what I will decide to do in 2028. I get asked about it nearly every interview and event," Ocasio-Cortez wrote in a recent fundraising email to supporters.

The 36-year-old lawmaker with a massive social media footprint said in a recent New York Times interview that her decision, which could happen sometime after this year's midterm elections, would come down to answering the question, "Where can I do the most good?"

OCASIO-CORTEZ OPENS UP ABOUT 2028

If she decides on a statewide rather than a national run, it could set up a titanic Democratic Party and generational battle between her and the soon-to-be 76-year-old Schumer, who was first elected to Congress nearly half a century ago and has served in the Senate since 1999.

Ocasio-Cortez, in her interview, made clear that her decision about 2028 would not be dictated by someone else.

"I don’t think that my decisions would come down to deference," she said.

Meanwhile, a campaign swing the past few days throughout upstate New York by Ocasio-Cortez raised some eyebrows. While the trip was aimed at boosting fellow Democrats on the ballot in this year's elections, it sparked speculation that it was also a move by Ocasio-Cortez to build relationships far from her base in New York City.

Schumer has left his 2028 plans open and has not announced whether he’ll run for yet another term. When asked about re-election, he's repeatedly said his "first focus is winning in 2026, getting back the Senate in 2026."

Fox News Digital reached out to Schumer's office regarding his thinking on a potential 2028 re-election run, but didn't receive a response by the time this story was published.

But a potential intra-party clash between Ocasio-Cortez and Schumer may never materialize, according to speculation from plugged-in Democratic strategists familiar with the New York state political landscape, who doubt Schumer will seek re-election even if his party wins back the Senate majority in November's midterms.

"Everyone has an expiration date," said one strategist, who like the others asked to remain anonymous to speak more freely.

And referring to Ocasio-Cortez, the strategist told Fox News Digital, "I think she’s in a good position to win statewide."

Another operative, pointing to Schumer, speculated, "I think Schumer wants to go out on top and with a good legacy and one way to do that is to hand the reins over to this inspiring generational leader. At the same time, New York politics are insane and there are lots of people gunning for that spot and he may feel like he can’t do that."

"He’s always been pretty smart when it came to her," the operative noted. "As other Dems were still warming to her… he was one of the first members of the New York delegation to be very welcoming and thoughtful and worked with her on legislation during COVID."

Schumer's approval ratings among New York voters are deep into negative territory at 36%-54%, according to a Quinnipiac University poll conducted Sept. 17-20. The senator's favorable ratings were also underwater, at 34%-51%.

Meanwhile, 41% of Empire State voters viewed Ocasio-Cortez favorably, with 36% seeing her in an unfavorable light.

"He was the supreme retail politician. Once he became leader, he became a swamp creature from Washington and it started to chip away at his popularity back home," a third Democratic strategist said of Schumer.

MAMDANI SIDESTEPS WHETHER AOC SHOULD CHALLENGE SCHUMER IN 2028

Schumer's short-term goal is to win back the Senate majority in the midterms.

Asked if that prospect would make potentially challenging Schumer more difficult, Ocasio-Cortez told the New York Times, "That would honestly be the best possible problem we could have as a country."

"We’re working hard to have that problem, and I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it," she added.

Recent fundraising text messages sent to supporters appeared to take jabs at the Democratic establishment, of which Schumer is a part. She did not name any particular person in the notes, however.

"The establishment believes that there's only one path to winning: Don't upset the status quo, don't stand up to the concentration of greed taking over our country, and instead spend most of your time fundraising from powerful donors," it read. "But Alexandria's campaign didn't win in 2018 by following the establishment playbook."

Another message said her 2018 victory "represented a threat to the typical D.C. power structure that existed back then and still exists now."

Walz's 'exit interview' reflecting on his tenure sparks lawmaker debate about his legacy: 'Never serious'

Minnesota Democratic Gov. Tim Walz reflected on his legacy in a recent interview and his comments sparked immediate pushback both online and from Republican lawmakers in the state who spoke to Fox News Digital.

"Fraud — should have stopped it sooner," Walz told the Minnesota Star-Tribune in a discussion that is being dubbed an "exit interview" with the headline "Walz accepts blame for fraud but says it shouldn’t define his legacy" as he prepares to leave office in January.

"We didn’t stop them. I accept that. I think there does need to be accountability with that. And part of it is that, yep, that’s with me, I’ll step aside."

Walz claimed the state "immediately" took action on the fraud and then went on to suggest the true cost of the fraud, estimated at $9 billion by federal prosecutors, has been overstated and claimed President Donald Trump’s White House ballroom, expected to cost taxpayers around $300 million, was more expensive than the Minnesota fraud.

WALZ APPROVAL RATING CRATERS TO LOWEST LEVEL EVER AND TRAILS TRUMP AMID MASSIVE FRAUD SCANDAL: 'TIRED OF IT'

"I should have been down on those agencies a little more, but I will tell you this, in the scheme of things, all the fraud that's been prosecuted, by the way, and all the fraud that's probably out there is less than the ballroom at the White House," Walz said. "So it puts it into perspective. It doesn't make it right. Doesn't make it right."

The outgoing governor then explained his hope that people will remember his other accomplishments when talking about his legacy.

"Those are legacy things to address climate. They’re legacy things to address livability," Walz said. "And I get it, that fraud tainted a lot of that. It doesn’t change the fundamentals underneath it. This is the best state in the country to raise a child, and it will continue to be so because of those investments."

Three Republican lawmakers in Minnesota who spoke to Fox News Digital had a different take.

"Governor Walz is correct, he shouldn’t only be remembered for fraud," Minnesota state Sen. Julia Coleman told Fox News Digital. "We should remember him spending our $18 billion surplus, raising taxes $10 billion, creating an unsustainable budget, letting rioters burn down Minneapolis, hurting our students and businesses with lockdowns and pardoning a child rapist."

Walz has faced fierce criticism for helping approve a full pardon for Tue Lue Vang, a Laotian national convicted of repeatedly raping a girl beginning when she was 10. Critics argued the decision prioritized Vang’s immigration concerns and family ties over the severity of his crimes, with a DHS official calling it "disgusting."

Minnesota Republican House Speaker Lisa Demuth is running to replace Walz in November as she heads into a matchup with Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar to be the state’s next top executive. Demuth told Fox News Digital Walz’s legacy won’t be able to overcome the fraud scandal and pointed to Klobuchar’s tight association with him.

"Tim Walz's legacy will always be defined by the out-of-control fraud crisis that occurred on his watch," Demuth said. "Yet Amy Klobuchar praised him as ‘an incredible leader who delivers for the people of Minnesota.’ As the senior member of our state’s congressional delegation, Sen. Klobuchar likewise failed to address the fraud crisis and even skipped hearings on the matter in D.C. Minnesotans deserve better than four more years of Walz-style failure."

Republican State Rep. Kristin Robbins chaired the last legislative session’s Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Policy Committee, and she told Fox News Digital that "no matter how hard he tries to spin it, Tim Walz’s legacy will be that he allowed rampant fraud."

"He says he ‘should have stopped it sooner,’ which is obvious, but he could still be doing more NOW," Robbins said. "He has been silent on fraud for months instead of taking the actions that are STILL under his control."

Robbins said Walz could have taken several steps to combat fraud, including firing senior DHS official Shireen Gandhi to send a message that abuse would not be tolerated, blocking Minnesota from seeking a SNAP waiver that allows applicants to attest to eligibility by phone without recording the call, and asking Attorney General Keith Ellison to prosecute Partners in Nutrition, a nonprofit that administered federally funded meal programs, rather than approve a settlement.

"His legacy will be fraud because he continues to enable fraud, despite two years of hearings, investigative journalists, and Office of the Legislative Auditor (OLA) reports," Robbins said. "He was never serious about stopping it and still isn’t."

Walz's comments not only drew scrutiny from Republican lawmakers but also sparked backlash on social media.

"Walz accepts blame for fraud, but believes his loss of $9 billion in taxpayer dollars 'shouldn't define his legacy,'" the X account for Minnesota House Republicans posted on X. "It does, and Minnesotans are paying attention to his blatant disregard of their hard-earned tax dollars."

Far-left legal 'cartel' in the hot seat as Trump admin decides its law school gatekeeper status

The future of the nation's primary law school accreditor now rests in the hands of the Trump Education Department after a federal panel deadlocked 8-8 on whether to strip the American Bar Association (ABA) of its gatekeeper status following dozens of federal compliance failures.

The deadlock hands the decision to Under Secretary of Education Nicholas Kent, who has up to 90 days to decide whether to revoke the ABA’s decades-long accreditation monopoly over roughly 200 law schools nationwide. In a statement to Fox News Digital, a Department of Education spokesperson confirmed that staff had already recommended stripping the ABA's gatekeeper status after finding the group out of compliance with "more than 26 recognition criteria."

The advisory body — known formally as the National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity (NACIQI) — advises the Education Department on whether higher education accreditors meet federal standards. NACIQI Chairman Jay Greene told Fox News Digital that while the panel split 8-8 on what action to take, committee members across the board shared a core concern over how the ABA is structured.

"The primary issue that troubled all members of NACIQI is that the ABA accrediting body is clearly not separate and independent from the ABA as a whole," Greene said, noting that federal law requires institutional accreditors to operate independently of trade associations. "Everyone on the committee agreed that this was a problem that required changes. The main divide was over whether the ABA was willing and able to take those steps to remedy the problem or not."

Responding to panel criticisms of chronic noncompliance, Melissa Hart, chair of the ABA Accreditation Council, defended the organization's historic track record.

"The Council has been continuously recognized by the Department of Education since 1952, being found in compliance during every regular recognition cycle for the past 74 years," Hart said in a statement. "We take accreditation and our recognition as an accreditor very seriously, and we continue to be a reliable authority for accrediting J.D. programs."

However, legal advocacy groups argue the ABA's structural defects and recent policy shifts render it unfit to serve as an industry gatekeeper. Reed Rubinstein, senior vice president of America First Legal and former general counsel at the Department of Education, told Fox News Digital that the ABA has "disqualified itself and undermined public faith and trust in the legal profession."

Rubinstein also dismissed the ABA's recent move to repeal its controversial diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) accreditation standard as a "ruse to retain power," arguing it does not cure the underlying legal flaws.

"The DEI accreditation standard, from the moment it was adopted, conflicted with controlling Supreme Court rulings and the plain text of the Civil Rights Act," Rubinstein said, urging the Trump administration to permanently strip the ABA of its federal status. "The ABA's leadership has made it clear, publicly and otherwise, that it will return to its unlawful ideological agenda at its first opportunity."

For more than 70 years, the ABA has operated as the sole federally recognized accreditor for U.S. law schools, granting the organization a near-monopoly over the legal profession. In almost every state, students must graduate from an ABA-accredited law school to be eligible to sit for the bar exam. Furthermore, the federal government uses the ABA's accreditation as the gatekeeper for Title IV federal student aid, meaning law schools must secure the group's stamp of approval for their students to receive federal loans.

If Under Secretary Kent ultimately moves to strip the ABA of its recognition, the decision would effectively break that national monopoly. While law schools affiliated with larger universities could rely on their broader institutional accreditors to maintain access to federal financial aid, roughly a dozen stand-alone law schools would be forced to scramble for alternative accreditation. State supreme courts would also face immediate pressure to rewrite their bar admission rules to allow graduates from non-ABA schools to take the exam.

Some states have already begun taking matters into their own hands to bypass the ABA's grip. Because the legal profession is regulated directly by the judicial branch, state supreme courts hold the ultimate authority to set educational requirements for bar admission.

In January, Texas became the first state in the nation to eliminate its reliance on the ABA for law school accreditation, with the Texas Supreme Court finalizing a rule to take over the approval process itself. Just nine days later, the Florida Supreme Court followed suit.

By cutting ties with the organization, the Texas high court announced it would judge law schools on "simple, objective, and ideologically neutral criteria" rather than the ABA's mandates deemed by many as politically-driven.

Other states are now catching on to the rebellion against the ABA. The Ohio Supreme Court formally proposed amendments in May to establish a state-run accreditation process, while supreme courts in Tennessee, Alabama and Washington have all recently taken steps to bypass the organization's monopoly.

"The ABA’s cartel-like control over law school accreditation drives up costs, limits access, and pushes ridiculous ideological mandates over merit," Trump's DOJ said earlier this year. "Ending the Tennessee Supreme Court’s exclusive reliance will expand opportunity AND lower costs."

Rubinstein noted that transferring authority back to the states marks a long-overdue correction for legal education.

"State supreme courts are ultimately responsible for certifying and disciplining attorneys—there is arguably no need for a middleman," Rubinstein told Fox News Digital. "By returning actual authority over legal education directly to the courts themselves... the result should be a better-quality education for attorneys and more accountability and transparency for the public."

Education Department rescinds Biden Title IX rule, restores Trump-era regulations

EXCLUSIVE: The U.S. Department of Education is formally rescinding the Biden administration's 2024 Title IX rule, Education Secretary Linda McMahon announced in an interview with OutKick.

McMahon said the action reinforces the administration's position that girls' and women's sports should be reserved for females.

"We're just acknowledging that boys and men are in boys and men's sports and girls are in theirs," McMahon told OutKick.

The action restores the 2020 regulatory text in the Code of Federal Regulations. Courts had already invalidated the Biden rule, and the department announced in January 2025 that it would enforce the first Trump administration's regulations.

OutKick asked McMahon what this step accomplishes, given that her department was already enforcing those rules.

"Well, it just gives clarification to students, teachers, schools, parents," she said. "Everyone now knows what the rule is and how everyone is going to abide by it."

Asked whether schools face new obligations or deadlines, McMahon said they should return to the Trump-era rules. She did not identify a new compliance deadline.

"Title IX was set up to give everyone, including women, equal opportunity to sports. And then under the Biden regulations, many of those rights had been taken away," McMahon said. "And so now this is just returned to Title IX as it was originally intended."

The Biden administration's 2024 rule expanded Title IX's sex-discrimination protections to include gender identity. Its separate proposal addressing eligibility for athletic teams was withdrawn in December 2024.

The Trump administration has pursued its interpretation of Title IX through investigations, funding restrictions and referrals to the Department of Justice.

As OutKick has reported, the departments of Education and Justice announced the Title IX Special Investigations Team on April 4, 2025.

The federal government also filed a lawsuit against Maine over the state's policy allowing trans-identifying males to compete in girls' sports.

Asked about consequences for states including Maine, California and Minnesota, McMahon described the department's use of reimbursement requirements for funding recipients designated as high risk.

"What that means is that they don't get their funding in advance. They have to produce receipts to us," McMahon said. "We therefore can confirm that they are spending the money in ways that it should be spent."

She also cited her department's referral of the Maine case to the Justice Department.

"So there are many kinds of consequences that can come to states and schools that are not abiding by Title IX," she said.

McMahon also addressed what recourse is available to female athletes who have already lost records, titles or opportunities.

She pointed to the University of Pennsylvania's agreement with the department, which OutKick reported in July 2025. That agreement required Penn to restore records and titles to female athletes and issue apologies following Lia Thomas' participation on the women's swimming team.

"Not only were apologies extended, but the titles were then given to the women who had rightfully won," McMahon told OutKick.

Asked whether the Penn agreement provides a framework for other cases, McMahon said the department would consider each circumstance individually.

For parents whose daughters are told to compete against a male athlete or share a locker room with one, McMahon advised raising the issue with the responsible school officials, including the superintendent, and reporting it to federal authorities. She did not specify how quickly the department could intervene.

On June 30, 2026, the Supreme Court upheld laws in Idaho and West Virginia restricting girls' and women's sports to females.

When asked about the legal path to requiring sex-based eligibility in girls' sports nationwide, McMahon pointed to Title IX itself.

The Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders were looking at overtime against the Ravens with the game tied 31-31. And then the 'Boys decided to kick the ball out of the end zone. The touchback automatically puts the ball on the 35.

No time ran off the clock. That gave the Ravens enough time to run deep routes to the field goal zone for Tyler Loop to bang home a 56-yarder for the win.

Screencaps Jr. cross country update: He's officially in the 11:20s

I'm happy to report that Screencaps Jr.'s team remains undefeated this season after yet another incredible performance on Saturday. The boys finished with 27 points with an average time of 11:28:71 for the top five runners.
Screencaps Jr. ran an 11:25:99 (5th place) after a great kick in the final 150 yards. It's a personal best and it was good enough for 19th place in his school's record books. In the same race, a teammate set a new school record with a winning time 10:44.43 and another teammate finished in 11:25:69, after a great sprint against Screencaps Jr.
Now things sorta get serious. There are three races to go. If the boys win their league meet on Oct. 12, that sets up a trip to the state championships where they were runner-up a year ago.
Yes, I remember just over a year ago asking you guys about cross country. I had ZERO knowledge of the sport. Now I'm digging into strategies. Digging into weather reports. Course conditions. Mrs. Screencaps is in charge of the maps and where we're going to stand. If I'm going to miss college football Saturdays, at least it's at fun cross country events where parents aren't bitching about their kid(s) not getting playing time.

– Gerard says: A couple of my buddies and I stopped at the Davenport Iowa Hooters last Thursday night. There were 10 patrons (all over the age of 50) and 2 waitresses in the whole place. Davenport is part of the Quad Cities that has a population of 380,000! The wings were better than I remembered but no way can Hooters stay open when Thursday night football is on and only 10 people are in there.

Kyle Larson won at Kansas in a race that featured a handful of green flag passes for the lead, which is always a sign of a great race! At least it was a halfway decent finish.

We've also got more fallout from Carson Hocevar giving Ryan Blaney a black eye last weekend at Bristol, but that rivalry is pretty much dead on arrival, folks. Those two spent all week basically dating each other through the media. So much for that storyline.

The good news? Carson's already been wrecked again! I'm not sure this one was intentional, though. You'll see.

So, this is the wreck that everyone and their mother is talking about from this past weekend.

Corey Heim — who won Cup races at San Diego and Indy this season — was racing in a late model event in Martinsville. He battled hard over the final few laps as folks tend to do at Martinsville, and got into Treyten Lapcevich after the checkered flag.

And by "got into," I mean ... well, he went up the track, spun Lapcevich, and promptly went airborne over his hood.

Lordy. What a wreck!

You don't see that very often in Martinsville. But, this is also a late model race. These ain't your modern day NASCAR stock cars. They're actually way better, but that's a story for another time.

Anyway, this was a big race. A big event. The ValleyStar Credit Union 300 is often described as the Daytona 500 for these drivers. It's been around for over five decades. It's a big deal.

Emotions were running HOT after this race, especially after Heim parked himself on Lapcevich's hood.

One thing led to another, and, as Corey was trying to cool off with a nice, Martinsville hot dog ... he started eating helmets and fists:

Goodness gracious. What a fight! Well, it wasn't really a fight. Like last weekend's "fight" between Hocevar and Blaney, this "fight" was really just one person(s) beating the hell out of another.

Now, why didn't he fight back, you might ask? I would assume because A) he's got a full-time Cup ride with 23XI lined up for next season, and B) he was wearing a 23XI firesuit.

Would Michael Jordan really care that much if one of his future drivers defended himself? I doubt it. He'd probably prefer it. But, Corey wasn't gonna take that chance.

Blaney went on Denny Hamlin's podcast and talked about eating "two-piece," and Hocevar spent 10 minutes in the media center this weekend talking about how much he respected him.

Long after the rest of the media passed on exposing the corruption in D.C., Fox knew when there was a real story.

In December 2009, I sat down with Neil Cavuto. It was one of my earliest national interviews. As a freshman who had been in Congress less than a year, I was sleeping on a $45 cot in my closet in Longworth at the time. Cavuto didn’t book me because I had a famous name. He booked me because a member who refused to load pork into an omnibus was news. Fox was willing to bring on a back-bencher from Utah because the story mattered.

As a junior member of the House Oversight Committee, I did not know then that this would become the only place some of our hearings got traction after the initial press release died down. Viewers who wanted the whole story knew they could find it on Fox.

Start with Fast & Furious. The Obama Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives deliberately let guns walk into the hands of criminals so the agency could "build a bigger case." On Dec. 14, 2010, Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was shot and killed in Arizona. Two of those walked guns were found at the scene.

The Justice Department’s first instinct was to minimize it. Other newsrooms were happy to call it a botched sting and move on. Fox kept Agent Terry’s name on the air.

We kept asking who authorized a program that ended with an American lawman dead and thousands of firearms unaccounted for. I was not yet chairman. I was a member, but I had been down on that border. Without a network willing to stay on the story, Fast & Furious becomes a footnote and Brian Terry becomes a statistic.

Then the Secret Service. By 2015, I was chairman, and the agency charged with protecting the president had become an agency in crisis: a fence jumper with a knife inside the White House, a prostitution scandal in Cartagena, supervisors crashing a crime scene after a night of drinking.

We looked into all of it. We held the hearings. Called out the problems. The agency’s response was not to fix the protection mission. It was to open my old job application and pass around "information he might find embarrassing." Forty-five employees accessed my file. A senior official wrote that the information needed to "get out. Just to be fair."

This was not a personnel spat. It was a federal agency using private information to punish the committee investigating it. Other outlets covered the fence jumper for a news cycle. Fox stayed on the pattern — and on the retaliation — long enough for an inspector general to put it in writing.

Let’s not forget the IRS. Lois Lerner’s shop slow-walked conservative groups before an election. When Congress asked for the emails, we were told they were gone — hard drive crash, backup tapes that "didn’t exist." It took an inspector general two weeks to find tapes the agency swore were unrecoverable.

The White House called the scandal phony. The Justice Department declined to prosecute Lerner’s contempt. A lot of newsrooms took the cue. Fox did not. As chairman I told the country the commissioner had failed to comply with a subpoena, failed to tell the truth about what had been destroyed and failed to notify Congress until after the evidence was gone.

You can argue with the politics of that fight. You cannot argue with missing emails and a tax agency picking targets by ideology. That story stays buried if the only cameras left in the room have already declared it over.

I’ve been honored to know and interact with so many great Fox personalities over the last two decades. I got to know Charles Krauthammer in the Fox green room, and on the air when he talked about investigations we were running. We did not always agree. I was in awe of his strength. His was a voice I actually listened to, day after day.

Rosie O’Donnell rips Ed Sheeran for ‘siding with billionaire elite,’ accuses him of ‘supporting genocide’

Rosie O'Donnell blasted New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and singer Ed Sheeran on Friday during an appearance on Ireland's "The Late Late Show," accusing Sheeran of making a "very bad mistake" after Macklemore was removed from his U.S. tour following the rapper's pro-Palestinian performances.

O’Donnell made the accusation after host Patrick Kielty asked about the controversy surrounding Kraft, Sheeran and Macklemore.

"I think Ed Sheeran made a very bad mistake and that he will come to understand the ramifications of siding with a billionaire elite, in supporting genocide rather than the people who are saying, 'This is wrong. We will not stand for it. We are human beings and each human life matters and that's what's the most important thing,'" O’Donnell said.

"There is only one acceptable answer for celebrities when it comes to the ongoing Israel/Palestinian conflict. Say 'Free Palestine' and nothing else," Toto told Fox News Digital in comments Sunday. "It's the new BLM, a contentious issue where celebrities know they'll gain approval within their circle by repeating that mantra. They also understand they won't be pressured to defend their point of view by the vast majority of entertainment reporters. It's a safe space for them. Journalists now know they can pepper stars with similar questions and get a similar response (and lots of clicks for their interviews)."

"Most artists know better than to alienate audiences with their political views," he continued. "The Springsteens, Morellos and Macklemores remain the exception. Concert ticket prices are too high for most bands to get on their soapbox and risk dooming repeat business. Actors don't make the connection between their divisive words and audience reaction. They simply want to appease their fellow actors and make nice with potential directors and casting directors. So they read from the approved script."

O'Donnell directly targeted Kraft, who owns Gillette Stadium and founded the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism, after Kielty referenced Kraft's role in opposing Macklemore's appearance at the venue.

"Well, he's part of the billionaire elite," she said. "Those are the most corrupt people in the United States right now. And they have sort of performed a coup on the American government. And it's very tragic."

Nick Fondacaro, associate editor for NewsBusters, reacted to O'Donnell's comments, saying, "Are we surprised that an unabashed 9/11-truther took an irrational and unhinged position?"

"It’s irresponsible and incendiary to claim a coup has taken place in America, especially when political violence is on the rise. Given that people like Charlie Kirk and Brian Thompson have been killed by leftists for their political causes, Rosie’s prediction that Sheeran will come to learn a lesson sounded like a warning or threat," he continued. "It’s hypocritical that a multimillionaire like Rosie things that Robert Kraft didn’t have the same rights as she and Macklemore. The stadium is his property, and he can decide who to allow in or not, just like they can bar Kraft from their multimillion-dollar mansions."

Macklemore was dropped from Sheeran's "Loop Tour" after repeatedly saying "Free Palestine" and performing "Hind's Hall" during shows at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The rapper alleged Kraft told Sheeran he would not be permitted to perform at Gillette Stadium and rallied other venue owners against his continued participation. Tour promoter Messina Touring Group said venues had informed them they would not allow concerts to proceed with Macklemore on the lineup.

Kraft defended his position by citing what he described as Macklemore's "broader history of antisemitic rhetoric and imagery," while stressing that his decision was not intended to dismiss Palestinian suffering. Kraft said support for Palestinians and opposition to Hamas and antisemitism were compatible positions.

"Standing with the Palestinian people and standing against Hamas, antisemitism and hate should not be mutually exclusive," Kraft said.

Sheeran has also publicly rejected the implication that he supports the suffering of Palestinians. During his first concert after the controversy, Fox News Digital reported from Philadelphia that Sheeran condemned Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack while also criticizing the scale of civilian suffering in Gaza.

"What is happening in Gaza is catastrophic and unjustifiable and disproportionate," Sheeran said.

Sheeran also pledged $2 million toward humanitarian relief and asked Kraft to match the contribution. Kraft agreed, saying he had spent decades supporting programs bringing Palestinians and Israelis together. Macklemore separately pledged the $1 million he said he earned from the tour to Palestinian aid organizations.

I just turned 25.

People with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) aren't expected to see another birthday after this one. DMD is a progressive disease; my muscles weaken over time and things that used to be automatic now take planning, assistance, or simply aren't possible anymore. Even sleeping can be hard. Bed sores are now an issue. Basic physical function takes work most people never have to think about.

I know what the statistics say. I am not ready to let them write the ending of my story.

I want to grow my career, I want to get married and start a family. I want to wake up decades from now and realize that turning 25 wasn't the beginning of the end — it was just another birthday I was blessed enough to reach.

That's why I'm watching the Senate confirmation fight over Dr. Heidi Overton, the nominee to lead the FDA, more closely than most 25-year-olds ever watch Washington.

For most Americans, an FDA commissioner is just another name in the news. For the 30 million Americans like me living with a rare disease, that person can decide how many options I have and how much time I have to use them.

To be clear: I'm not asking the FDA to abandon science. I respect doctors, clinical trials and hard evidence. I know some drugs don't work and some carry real risk.

But there's a question Washington doesn't ask often enough: who gets to decide how much risk a patient is willing to accept?

If I understand the risks, my doctor understands the risks, and there's real evidence a treatment could help, why does a regulator in Washington get the final word on whether I'm allowed to try?

Congress already recognized part of this principle when President Trump signed the Right to Try Act into law in 2018. That law was a major step forward because it affirmed something patients facing life-threatening diseases have always known: when approved options are exhausted, and a doctor believes an investigational treatment may help, patients should not be treated as passive observers in their own survival.

Right to Try was not the end of that idea. It was the beginning of a patient-centered philosophy that should shape the FDA’s culture more broadly. The same principle should apply when the agency weighs evidence, risk, urgency and access for rare-disease patients. If the patient understands the risk, the physician understands the risk, and there is real evidence that a treatment could help, the system should lean toward partnership instead of paternalism.

That’s why Senator Ron Johnson and Representative Diana Harshbarger introduced Right to Try 2.0: to carry that same principle into the next era of medicine, including individualized treatments that do not fit neatly into the FDA’s traditional approval model. They are right to press the issue. But the next leader at the FDA should not have to wait for Congress to force a more patient-centered approach.

The FDA already knows that time matters. Its accelerated approval pathway exists precisely because making patients with serious, life-threatening diseases wait years for a traditional clinical endpoint can cost them the thing they can't get back. The agency has used that pathway for multiple DMD treatments already.

Because waiting is never neutral when you have Duchenne. Every year can mean another loss of strength, another limitation, another piece of independence gone for good.

My brother, who also lives with DMD, has seen the other side of this fight, too. Even when a treatment exists, actually getting it can be its own battle. Traveling hours away from home for a multiyear clinical trial sounds manageable in a Washington conference room. It looks very different when you're the one making that trip while your body is working against you as opposed to having access to the therapy at your own hospital.

That's why I want the next FDA commissioner to listen to patients like me. We don’t just read about the disease in books or look at it through a microscope — we live with it every day. It’s in us — woven into our DNA. Living with Duchenne has forced me to learn more about drug development and regulatory pathways than I ever expected to know.

I want an FDA that works with patients, physicians and rare-disease experts. That's also why I'm going to say something people will have opinions about: I hope whoever leads the FDA brings on Dr. Houman Hemmati as deputy commissioner. He has spent his career in biotech, not politics, building treatments for rare and degenerative diseases instead of just regulating them from the outside. He's also my friend. I know what that sentence invites. Critics will say I'm just trying to get someone I know into the room. They're right that I know him. What they're missing is: he doesn't just know my disease, he's lived it with me.

I'm not asking anyone to promise me forever. I'm asking for the chance to fight for the future I still see.

I've already outlived what a lot of people expected. I'm not ready to stop.

Woke megachurch pastor, Dem nominee called on congregation to repent for driving, eating beef

FIRST ON FOX: In Kansas, cows are king, but a Democrat trying to seize power once told his congregation to repent for eating beef and raising cattle.

Adam Hamilton, the Democratic nominee running to unseat Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kan., in the Sunflower State, for years led the largest United Methodist church in the nation. He would give sermons that Marshall charged were "woke," and counter to Kansans' values.

One such sermon, reviewed by Fox News Digital, saw Hamilton call on his congregation to repent over their carbon footprints.

GOP SENATOR ALLEGES SCHUMER BEHIND 'HIT JOB' REPORT ON FORMER PATIENTS

"That's what repentance means — I saw things differently, it changed my heart, and it changed my behavior," Hamilton said during a January 2020 sermon called, "What would Jesus say about climate change?"

"So what I'm calling you to today, and I'm calling myself to it, because I've been wasteful, I've done things that wasn't, you know, I didn't think about it, how it wasn't really good stewardship of the earth around me," he continued. "I'm calling us to repentance to say, ‘I realize that this has impact, even if it seems small, it has an impact on the world and future generations. And I feel badly about that, and I'm going to do something different from this time forward.’"

Despite Kansas’ 94-year history of being a ruby-red bastion for the GOP in the Senate, the race between Hamilton and Marshall has unexpectedly tightened in recent months as Republicans across the country face a sobering political environment.

Kansas slipped from "Likely R" in Fox News’ Power Rankings to "Lean R," and Cook Political Report echoed the same shift, too.

"In a state with more cattle than people, Hamilton saying that Kansans need repent for eating too much beef and flip flopping on the Farm Bill proves he’d be just like every other liberal Democrat in the Senate," Marshall told Fox News Digital in a statement.

High fuel prices, particularly diesel in an agriculture-centric state like Kansas, spurred by President Donald Trump’s Iran war are giving voters anxiety, and expanding the map of battleground states that Republicans need to defend to maintain their majority in the Senate.

Hamilton's campaign countered to Fox News Digital that Marshall has "repeatedly introduced legislation to reduce emissions from cattle and claimed 'everyone's concerned about the methane production in the cattle industry.'"

"Marshall even bragged how the decline of the herd 'eliminated half of the methane gas produced from cattle already,'" Tyson Brody, a spokesperson for Hamilton, said. "As Adam said at the debate, Roger should repent for failing to stand up for Kansas cattle producers on tariffs, foreign imports, and skyrocketing diesel prices, and now he should repent for attacking Adam for something Roger Marshall said himself in the Senate. Kansas producers don't need lectures from someone who voted to put warning labels on hot dogs and bacon."

Meanwhile, Hamilton’s sermon was part scripture, part PowerPoint presentation on how greenhouse gases occur and their impact on the environment. And during his 44-minute talk, Hamilton suggested that one of Kansas’ staple economic drivers, beef, was a major contributor to the problem.

"Some of the things that we grow, because we like to eat them, like cattle, end up producing more carbon dioxide than other crops that we could grow, other forms of food that we could have," Hamilton said. "And so, in all of these ways, we are creating or adding to the amount of greenhouse gases in our world."

Cattle is a major industry for Kansas, which is the nation’s third-largest producer of beef, according to the Kansas Livestock Association. There are more heads of cattle in the state, just over 5.8 million, than people, with the state’s population sitting at roughly 2.9 million.

It provides a major cash influx for the state’s economy, too, with cattle farming and ranching producing tens of billions of dollars and employing over tens of thousands of Kansans.

"It is disappointing that a candidate for the U.S. Senate in Kansas, one of the nation’s top beef-producing states, would make a statement like this to his parishioners about beef’s impact on the climate," Kansas Livestock Association Chief Executive Officer Matt Teagarden told Fox News Digital in a statement. "Beef is an important, nutritious part of the American diet, and cattle play a significant role in maintaining grassland health and conservation, while accounting for only 2% of total U.S. greenhouse gas emissions."

Still, six years ago, Hamilton was calling on his congregation to change their habits to reduce their carbon footprint.

"Now, you got to do everything you can to reduce your own usage of fossil fuels, but maybe changing your diet so that the things that you eat are requiring less production that creates methane and carbon dioxide and everything else," Hamilton said.

Malicious browser extensions can hijack AI assistants

AI assistants are moving deeper into the browsers we use every day. They can summarize a webpage, explain what you are looking at and, in some cases, take action on websites for you. That convenience also gives these tools access that a normal webpage would never have. Now, security researcher Gal Weizman of Forever Security has shown how a malicious browser extension could potentially turn those powerful AI capabilities against you. His research, called BragJack, targeted Gemini Live in Chrome, Perplexity Comet, Microsoft Edge Actions, Opera Neon and Anthropic's Claude in Chrome. The findings resulted in more than $20,000 in bug bounties and two CVEs.

There is one important detail before you panic. The attack still required the malicious extension to be installed first. After that, Weizman demonstrated attacks that needed zero additional clicks from the victim. So how could one extension get that far inside the browser? It comes down to how these AI assistants are built.

AI MALWARE CAN REWRITE ITSELF TO EVADE DETECTION

How a malicious extension can reach your browser's AI

Weizman describes these AI systems as having a "brain" and a "body." The AI model works out what should happen. A privileged component inside the browser then carries out the request. Depending on the product, that privileged component might read webpage content, capture a screenshot or interact with a website. That setup becomes risky if something else inside the browser can manipulate the connection between those pieces. The proof-of-concept attacks relied heavily on Chromium's declarativeNetRequest, or DNR, system. Browser extensions can use DNR to modify how network requests work. That can include changing response headers or redirecting resources. Forever Security showed how those capabilities could let an extension interfere with web content trusted by a browser's AI features.

Chrome's Gemini flaw exposed files and screenshots

Chrome was one of the more striking examples. Google's Gemini side panel essentially has two pieces. Gemini handles the intelligence behind the request while Chrome provides the browser-level abilities needed to carry it out. Researchers found that Chrome already prevented extensions from directly injecting scripts into the Gemini page. However, the researchers discovered that an extension could still manipulate certain network requests used inside the Gemini experience. That gap allowed Weizman to demonstrate access to browser capabilities that the extension itself should never have received. According to the research, he could access local files, capture screenshots and obtain browser profile information. The researcher says the flaw also let him turn on the camera and microphone with zero clicks from the user. Google awarded the researchers a $7,000 bounty for reporting the vulnerability, which received the identifier CVE-2026-0628.

Google has since confirmed to CyberGuy that it has closed this specific attack path. A Google spokesperson told us, "Confirming we've released a patch in Chrome so this method no longer works on the Gemini side panel." That means the technique demonstrated by the researchers should no longer work against the Gemini side panel in an updated version of Chrome.

Perplexity Comet could take the attack further

Perplexity Comet raised a different concern because its AI agent can take actions inside websites. Weizman found that Comet's built-in agent trusted several Perplexity domains. One testing domain lacked the same extension protections used on the main Perplexity site. Normally, that testing address redirected elsewhere. The proof-of-concept used DNR to remove the redirect and load the page instead. That gave the extension a path to communicate with Comet's built-in agent. The demonstrated access included browsing history, screenshots and local files. Then things became more personal. Weizman demonstrated sending an instruction that told the agent to access Perplexity, summarize the victim's recent emails and send the information to another email address. The AI agent performed the browser actions using capabilities it already had.

Microsoft Edge had safeguards that researchers bypassed

Microsoft built safeguards into Edge to keep outside prompts from easily controlling what its AI agent could do. Researchers still found a way around them. Weizman discovered a timing flaw known as a race condition. In simple terms, his test extension could feed the AI a prompt and then quickly switch on its ability to take action before Edge finished checking whether the request should be allowed. That opened the door for the AI agent to carry out a command it should not have accepted. Microsoft tracked the flaw as CVE-2026-55945 and rated it medium severity. The company says Edge versions before 150.0.4078.48 were affected. Updating Edge closes this particular security hole.

Opera Neon and Claude in Chrome were vulnerable too

Forever Security also demonstrated related attacks against Opera Neon and Claude in Chrome. There is an important difference with Claude. Claude in Chrome is itself a browser extension, rather than a complete browser. The researcher found that a page on Claude's domain could send prompts to the extension's side panel. Another extension could manipulate that trusted page and force prompts into Claude. Forever Security says Anthropic awarded a bounty for the finding and classified it as medium severity. Opera Neon also allowed the proof-of-concept extension to reach its AI agent. According to the researcher, that access could force the agent to carry out instructions on websites. All five demonstrations were Chromium-based, which helped the researcher reuse the same basic attack approach.

We reached out to Google, Microsoft, Perplexity, Opera and Anthropic for comment on the research. Google responded with the update included above. Microsoft pointed us to its CVE-2026-55945 security advisory and said it had nothing further to share. We did not hear back from Perplexity, Opera or Anthropic before our deadline.

Prompt Forcing gives attackers another way to abuse AI

You may already have heard about prompt injection. That usually involves hiding malicious instructions in something an AI reads. Weizman calls this new approach Prompt Forcing. Here, the attacker does not need to hide instructions inside a webpage and hope the AI follows them. The attacker can force a complete prompt into the agent through a channel that the browser or assistant trusts. The AI can then turn that plain-English instruction into legitimate browser actions. That creates an interesting problem for security software. A suspicious program stealing an email may be easier to spot. An approved AI agent opening a website and clicking a button can look like normal browser activity. The published BragJack research describes proof-of-concept attacks and does not report that these techniques have been exploited in the wild. Still, the research shows how the security equation changes as AI agents receive deeper access to browsers and computers.

Why you should take another look at your browser extensions

The attack starts with something many of us barely think about anymore: a browser extension. CyberGuy has covered malicious extensions that pretended to be AI assistants, hijacked online accounts and even turned trusted extensions into data-stealing spyware. That makes extension cleanup one of the easiest steps you can take right now. Maybe you installed a coupon extension two years ago and forgot about it. Perhaps you tested an AI sidebar once and never opened it again. If you no longer need an extension, there is little reason to keep giving it access to your browser.

8 ways to protect yourself from malicious browser extensions

1) Keep your browser updated

Browsers receive security fixes regularly, so install updates as soon as they become available. Google's response makes that especially relevant here. The company says it has already released the Chrome patch that blocks the Gemini side-panel method demonstrated by the researchers. Restart Chrome after an update if prompted so the newest version can finish installing.

2) Remove extensions you no longer use

Open your browser's extension manager and remove anything you do not recognize or no longer use. Here is the quickest way to check:

Chrome and Claude in Chrome: Click the three-dot menu → Extensions → Manage extensions → find the extension → Remove. Google confirms this path in its current Chrome instructions.

Microsoft Edge: Click the Extensions puzzle-piece icon → Manage extensions → find the extension → Remove.

Opera Neon: Open the Extensions area from the browser sidebar or menu → review your installed extensions → remove anything you no longer trust or use. Opera documents its extensions manager through the Extensions icon and menu.

Perplexity Comet: Open the browser's extensions manager and review imported or installed Chrome extensions. Comet supports Chrome extensions and can import them from Chrome.

Pro tip: If you are unsure about an extension, disable it first and research the developer before removing it.

3) Check permissions before installing

Look carefully when an extension asks for broad access to websites or browser activity. The permission should make sense for what the extension actually does.

4) Limit an extension's access when possible

Some browsers let you decide whether an extension can run on every website or only certain sites. Give an extension the narrowest access it needs to work.

5) Be careful with AI extensions

An extension that uses a familiar AI name may have no connection to the company behind that AI service. Check the publisher before installing it.

6) Turn off AI browser features you do not use

If your browser gives you the option to disable an AI assistant or agent you never use, consider turning it off. That reduces the number of powerful browser features available if another component gets compromised.

7) Use strong antivirus software

Strong antivirus software can help flag malicious downloads and suspicious activity connected to bad extensions. It adds another layer of protection if something slips past you. 8) Treat extensions like apps

Do not install one because it sounds useful for five minutes. Every extension adds code and permissions to the browser you use for email, banking, shopping and other private activity.

What gets my attention here is how much more powerful a bad browser extension can become when an AI agent enters the picture. We already knew extensions could spy on browsing or steal account data. This research shows a possible path to something with much broader privileges. There is also a practical takeaway. These demonstrations still required the attacker-controlled extension to get inside the browser first. Once it was there, however, the researcher showed that the attack could continue without another click from the victim. I would take five minutes and look through your extensions today. If you cannot remember why you installed one, find out what it does. If you stopped using it months ago, remove it. As browser AI grows more capable, the companies building these tools also need strong barriers between ordinary extensions and the privileged systems that let AI act for us.

Josh Duhamel credits controversial routine for feeling better than in his 30s

Josh Duhamel is crediting taking testosterone with helping him feel better at 53 than he did 20 years ago.

The actor has previously shared that he began testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) about five years ago. Duhamel went on to co-found Gatlan, a men's health company that offers physician-guided testosterone replacement therapy, hormone optimization, weight loss and longevity treatments.

During a recent appearance on Dave Asprey's "The Human Upgrade" podcast, the "Las Vegas" alum opened up about how testosterone therapy has affected his health.

"I feel better now than I did in my early to mid-30s," Duhamel said. "I'm not even kidding you. My joints, my back, my knees, everything. I just feel stronger."

Duhamel explained that he was inspired to launch Gatlan after experiencing what he described as the positive effects of testosterone therapy. He said his former representatives warned him against starting the company and told him that becoming the face of the treatment could hurt his career in Hollywood.

"I won't tell you the agency that I'm no longer with, but they said, 'Don't do it. It's bad for your image.' And I was like, 'Alright, watch,'" Duhamel recalled.

"It took me a while," he admitted. "I had to get over that for a little bit because I was like, 'Maybe they're right. Maybe I'm going to get, you know, made fun of in the town for having this company.'"

"But my gut was, ‘Why not shine a light on this thing and make it OK?’" Duhamel remembered. "Because nobody's talking about it. Everybody's doing it."

Duhamel said he began taking testosterone after tests showed he had low levels.

"I had low T in my early 40s," Duhamel shared. "And so, I really started looking into it. Did the research, found somebody who I could find it from, you know, probably got some bad batches here and there. Didn't really have a quality sort of source."

"But I found that I was feeling better," he continued. "I had that oomph that I didn't have before in my 20s and 30s. And I said, 'This s--- works.' I got to — I want to learn more about this."

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved testosterone products to treat men with low testosterone associated with certain medical conditions. The agency also requires testosterone products to carry warnings about increased blood pressure. Patients should consult their doctor about the potential benefits and risks of treatment.

Duhamel said he injects testosterone three times a week, explaining that the schedule helps keep his levels consistent.

The "Transformers" star said taking testosterone has improved his life "tremendously" and given him the energy he needs as a father of three. Duhamel and his wife, Audra Mari, 32, married in September 2022 and welcomed son Shepherd, now 2, in January 2024.

In May 2026, the couple announced the birth of their daughter, Rocca de Leon Duhamel. Duhamel also shares son Axl, 13, with his ex-wife, singer Fergie, 51.

"I wouldn't be able to do it," he said. "I have a 3-month-old baby and a 2 ½-year-old boy. And my oldest is about to be 13 tomorrow."

"So, I've got a lot going on at the house," Duhamel continued. "My poor wife, thank God, she's such a rock star. She's such a great mom. But when I'm home, we are on all day. It's either changing the diaper or we're potty training him now, too. He wants to go swimming. So, I'm swimming."

"We're just like, 'You got that. I got this. OK, ready.' It's just like — it's a tiring period of our life. This is about the most tiring it's going to be," he added.

Duhamel told Asprey he was encouraged by what he sees as a changing conversation around testosterone and hormone treatment. The "Ransom Canyon" star pointed to what he described as a growing willingness to reconsider long-held beliefs about testosterone therapy.

"I'm glad that we're here now, and I'm glad that we have information that is contrary to what we thought for so many years," he said. "And we can actually do something. We can actually stay stronger, younger, longer, and I feel like that's really why I did this is I just wanted to out of my own curiosity and fascination and my own vanity, probably."

"But mostly because I have young kids," he continued. "I want to be able to be a good dad and a physical and vibrant father for them physically for as long as I can. And mentally, for that matter."

Duhamel said longevity was a major factor in his decision to pursue testosterone therapy, explaining that his goal is not just to feel better now but also to preserve his health for the years ahead.

"I love it," he said. "I'm excited about the idea that I'm going to … be as healthy as I can much longer than I would have before."

"I want to see my grandkids," Duhamel added. "That's a big ask."

Duhamel said hormone optimization should be part of a broader discussion about aging and that men and women should at least explore their options with doctors.

This is a country known for its love of throwing a few back when the moment strikes. But it's disconcerting to see that their drink of choice is the Kool-Aid.

Ireland's players opted not to shake the hands of their Israeli opponents before Sunday's Nations League match in Hungary, and their goalkeeper, Gavin Banzunu, refused to play against Israel because of his "personal belief that the killing of innocent people is wrong."

It was one giant virtue signal in the team's attempt to announce its moral superiority, but upon a closer look, it was the Irishmen who fell short.

Some background.

The Irish soccer team had faced pressure to boycott Sunday's game against Israel due to the country's response to the Hamas terror attacks on Oct. 7, 2023, which killed nearly 1,200 Israelis. The narrative pushed by much of the media is that the counter-attacks have been akin to a "genocide," which has no basis in reality.

Nevertheless, the Irish soccer team has seemed to deem Israel the villain in this conflict, and took out their resentment on the Israeli players. They wouldn't even shake their hands??? Pathetic.

Let's pretend for a second that Israel was, indeed, the "bad guy" in this conflict — something I don't believe to be true. Does that mean it's OK to shun the athletes representing the country?

Where else could you apply that logic?

Should opponents of North Korea's teams refuse to shake their players' hands because of a brutal dictatorship responsible for an innumerable amount of human rights abuses? Should opponents of Russian teams refuse to shake their players' hands because of Vladimir Putin's government invading Ukraine?

What about not shaking the hands of Sudanese players because of a catastrophic war involving atrocities against civilians? Or not shaking hands of Chinese players because of their government's treatment of the Uyghurs?

I was on hand in Seattle when Iran took on Egypt in a World Cup group play match. I didn't see Egyptians deny handshakes with Iranian players due to their government's extermination of protesters against the Tehran regime. I never saw players at the World Baseball Classic snub the Venezuelans because of Nicolás Maduro's brutal regime, either.

I could go on and on.

The world is brutal. Conflict is everywhere. But there's a big difference between protesting a country's government and treating players from said country as pariahs. The Irish soccer team doesn't seem to understand that.

Never mind that Israel's attacks have essentially always been in response to attacks brought upon its country. Innocent people die tragically because Hamas uses them as human shields, embedding its fighters and military infrastructure among civilians in schools, hospitals and residential areas.

The Israeli government regularly gives warnings that these attacks are coming, and provides aid to the Palestinian people. This is lost on much of the media and artists such as Macklemore, who falsely decry an attempt at "genocide."

But that's neither here nor there in regard to the Israeli soccer players. They are athletes, not politicians. They don't dictate what their government leaders do. The Irish soccer team's players slighting them is a misguided attempt to make themselves look heroic. In fact, they look foolish.

Politics are messy. Sports are supposed to be an escape from them.

Sunday's most compelling game was over and now it was time for the Denver Broncos stars to discuss their stirring victory over the Dallas Cowboys on NBC's national broadcast. And that's when quarterback Bo Nix and safety Talanoa Hufanga told everyone where the credit goes:

To God.

"Honestly man, all praise to God, just to come out here, believe in myself, believe in my teammates to be in the right spot," Hufanga said after collecting two interceptions, including a Pick Six. "Man, all glory to God that I go out there and play and have some fun."

NBC's Melissa Stark turned to Nix and asked something about what was discussed at halftime. And the quarterback gave her 10 seconds of fluff football talk then said this:

"But like he said, all glory to God," Nix said. "He's really good. He's given us this platform. He's given us this opportunity and our job is just to make the most of it."

"Believe," Hufanga then added, as if imploring the audience to join them.

And this is example 1,403,285 (more or less) that the NFL is the most God-centered professional sports league in America.

So, how could this secular, oftentimes super liberal monolith of a business preach God so often?

Well, let's understand there is a difference between the mostly faceless, nameless, Godless league that is headquartered in New York, and the people that fans actually come to see and cheer — the players and coaches.

The Baltimore Ravens beat the Dallas Cowboys in stunning, last-second fashion in Brazil. Quarterback Lamar Jackson completed a long pass with one second remaining to set up a final kick.

So he stepped off the field and went to work.

"The crazy thing about it [was] I had no doubt in my mind," Jackson told an international group of reporters afterward. "I prayed to Jesus. I prayed to God.

"I am like, ‘Man, I feel like we already won.’ I could not show it, but I am like, I have all my faith in [kicker Tyler Loop] right now, man."

In Washington, the Commanders lost linebacker Leo Chenal to a neck injury in the first half. He was taken to a local hospital where doctors saw he had movement in all his extremities.

Back at the Northwest Stadium, Kain Medrano stepped in for Chenal.

Medrano intercepted a pass in the fourth-quarter. And returned it for a touchdown and the game-deciding points. And afterward was thinking about his fallen teammate.

"Yeah, obviously, we lost a brother," Medrano said, "but we're all praying for him."

The Giants, like the Commanders, won on Sunday despite not having their starting quarterback because both Jaylen Daniels and Jaxson Dart are out injured.

That put Jameis Winston at the reins of the New York offense, but it was the defense and safety Jevon Holland's interception at his own 4-yard line with 24 seconds to play that sealed the victory.

And what was Winston's reaction?

"Elated, praise God, so happy and grateful that he did what I thought he was going to do," Winston said. "I told [Holland] he was going to do that. He did it.

"I told him he was going to do that Friday. Friday, I told him, I said, 'When the game is on the line, you're going to make the biggest play.'"

Coach John Harbaugh's team has a 2-1 record now. Those two victories are already half the number of wins the Giants managed all of last season.

So what's the first thing Harbaugh told the New York media to start his post-game news conference?

"Praise and glory to our Savior," he said. "And to our guys, nothing but respect for finding a way to win a tough game in the fourth quarter. That's the way these games go usually in the National Football League."

Workers renovating major city street stumble on ancient discovery buried 20 feet below

Workers renovating a bustling city boulevard stumbled across a piece of the ancient past — a cache of pottery dating back roughly 1,000 years.

The discovery was made amid ongoing excavations in Tbilisi, the capital city of Georgia in the Caucasus region, south of Russia.

The artifacts were found roughly 20 feet beneath Rustaveli Avenue, Tbilisi's main thoroughfare.

ARCHAEOLOGISTS UNCOVER MASSIVE ANCIENT SITE DURING RAIL PROJECT, INCLUDING RARE ROMAN FIND

Pictures show archaeologists examining the intricately decorated pottery fragments, as well as centuries-old jugs and various shards.

The roadwork is part of a larger project to upgrade Rustaveli Avenue with new pedestrian crossings, improved signage and other improvements, according to Reuters.

David Lordkipanidze, director of the Georgian National Museum, told Reuters the discovery was not entirely unexpected given Tbilisi's history.

"Tbilisi is very rich with archaeological material ... so it's very logical to find workshops of different periods," he said.

Lordkipanidze also pointed to Tbilisi's long history as a crossroads for cultures and commerce.

The pottery appears to date between the 10th and 11th centuries, when Tbilisi was under Arab rule and served as an important stop along the Silk Road.

Additional studies, including 3D scanning, will help researchers more precisely determine the artifacts' age.

Georgia, cradled between Europe and Asia, forms part of the Caucasus region alongside Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Tbilisi was founded in the fourth century, and the region has since come under the control of various powers, including Mongols, Persians and Russians, as well as Arabs during the Middle Ages.
