Missing Utah teen Kylie Arellano found safe in Oregon after 500-day search

A Utah teenager who vanished nearly a year and a half ago has been found safe in Oregon, ending a lengthy nationwide search that spanned more than 500 days.

Kylie Arellano, now 17, was last seen by her family on May 29, 2025, at their home in Garden City, Utah, when she was 15 years old.

Kylie's disappearance had triggered a wide federal and state investigation that led officials through dozens of unconfirmed sightings before culminating in her recovery on Sunday.

Law enforcement officers in Oregon, working directly with the FBI's Salt Lake City field office and the Rich County Sheriff's Office, safely recovered the teen, according to a law enforcement news release.

Kylie, they said, was found with a 39-year-old man in Oregon. The man was taken into custody without incident.

"The FBI and the Rich County Sheriff’s Office have been actively investigating this case for more than a year and pursuing every lead received from across the U.S. and in other countries.

"As this case is ongoing, no further information will be released at this time," the FBI's Salt Lake City field office said in a statement on Sunday.

Federal authorities also credited the Oregon State Police, the FBI's Portland field office and the Utah Department of Public Safety for their assistance in the operation.

"Tonight, local police in Oregon brought a minor who had been missing for a year and a half to safety, acting on information provided by our FBI Salt Lake City Field Office," FBI Director Kash Patel told Fox News Digital.

"We are grateful she can return home, and we will continue working with our partners to hold those responsible accountable," Patel added.

"To anyone using gore groups to target and exploit children: the FBI and our partners are coming for you.

Kylie Arellano’s grandmother also thanked the authorities for finding her. "THANK YOU for all you and your agents and teams are doing to find our baby girl, Kylie Arellano and bring her home!!!" she wrote on X.

According to a law enforcement source, the suspect allegedly met the teenager on Snapchat before her disappearance.

Last year, Rich County Sheriff Dale Stacey said detectives had chased reports of sightings across multiple states and urged the public to preserve any photographic or timestamped evidence.

New details about the investigation had also emerged days before Kylie was found.

Unsealed search warrants reviewed by KUTV on Oct. 29 showed that investigators had previously scrutinized Kylie's mother, Stephanie Coleman, and questioned her about a 2024 allegation of physical abuse.

There were also questions about discrepancies involving missing text messages from the night Kylie vanished and suspicious marks in the home.

Coleman had denied having any role in her daughter's disappearance or abusing her, providing timestamped "good night" text messages from May 29, 2025.

She said the marks were caused by an injured cat and maintained that Kylie had likely been groomed and lured away by someone she encountered online, the outlet reported.

Chris Pratt went from living in a van to Hollywood stardom after chance encounter changed everything

Chris Pratt's journey to becoming one of Hollywood's go-to action stars started with him living in a van in Hawaii.

In a recent post on X, the 47-year-old actor reflected on his beginnings: "Before Hollywood, I was living in a van in Hawaii and waiting tables at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company," revealing that a chance encounter working one night changed his life.

"One day, the incredible Rae Dawn Chong walked into the restaurant, and naturally, I went up to her table and said, 'Hey, you’re a movie star! What are you doing here?'" he recalled. "She asked if I could act, and I said, 'F- - - yeah, put me in your movie!'"

Since he didn't have a phone, he gave Chong his friend Mike's number, who told him a few days later that someone had called for him.

"I called her back, and sure enough, she was serious," he wrote. "I drove over to pick up the script, went back to Mike’s house, and read all 120 pages three times in a row. First script I’d ever read. My character's name was Devon, and I remember thinking, 'Sweet! I could totally play a Devon!'

After the audition, he recalled Chung telling him he "could act and offered me the part."

While he lived in Hawaii, the movie was filming in Los Angeles, which made Pratt a little nervous, as he had "about $60 to my name, a bag of clothes, and some rollerblades." He then found out that Chung would fly him out to Los Angeles for production.

"I remember thinking right then and there, my life just changed forever. I'm going to be an actor," he wrote. "That little movie was 'Cursed Part 3,' a low-budget horror comedy that opened the door to Hollywood for me. I'll forever be grateful to Rae for taking a chance on a kid working at a shrimp restaurant. Everybody starts somewhere, and this is where it all began for me."

Pratt's role in "Cursed Part 3" led to bigger projects, including his breakout role playing Andy Dwyer in the hit NBC show, "Parks and Recreation."

He then landed the role of Peter Quill, or Star-Lord, in the Marvel movie, "Guardians of the Galaxy," playing the character in the film's two sequels, as well as in "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Avengers: Endgame."

When speaking to Moviefone in May 2023, Pratt shared he is "grateful" for "Guardians of the Galaxy" director James Gunn for casting him as the lead in the movie, saying, "He's changed my life" and the life of his children.

"He found a working actor who had already at that point done way better than most people who come out to town. I wasn't a waiter any longer, I was a series regular on a show. I was getting recognition," he said. "He brought me to a whole new level that ultimately changed the entire way the industry saw me. I no longer was auditioning. That was the last audition I ever had. So he changed my life."

Ukraine says air alert system hacked after false radiation warning in Kyiv

Ukraine officials said the country’s official air-raid alert app was likely hacked after emergency alerts warned on Sunday that there was a "radiation hazard" and a "chemical attack alert" in Kyiv.

The false warnings urged residents not to go outside.

"There is a radiation hazard alert in Kyiv. Do not go outside!" read one alert.

"There is a chemical attack alert in Kyiv. Do not go outside!" another one read.

The public air alert online map also displayed Kyiv and other areas as under a nuclear alert. The app also issued false warnings about Russia’s hypersonic Oreshnik missile and alleged street fighting in Kyiv.

Additionally, loudspeakers in the streets blasted a recorded message instructing people to take precautions.

But Ukraine’s Air Force said its air alert app was hacked and that there was no radiation hazard to be concerned about.

"The air alert app appears to have been subjected to enemy influence. There is no radiation threat! Stay calm and follow our updates on our channel!" the Ukrainian Air Force said in a statement posted to Telegram.

Ukraine’s Center for Strategic Communications blamed Russia for the incident, although no group had publicly claimed responsibility.

Separately, Russia’s Emergencies Ministry said early Monday that its mobile application had been hit by a "massive cyberattack" that allowed attackers to send false information to the public.

"Attention! The mobile application of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia has been subjected to a massive cyberattack, enabling attackers to send false information to the public," the ministry said on Telegram.

Big 12 Conference admits officials got call wrong that benefited BYU Cougars in win over Arizona State

Maybe the BYU Cougars being a religious school can pay some dividends.

The Cougars have benefited from a very fortunate run of officiating in recent weeks. At home against the then-No. 2 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish, BYU pulled off a stunning upset. Thanks in small part to yet another controversial literal last second clock call this college football season.

Quarterback Bear Bachmeier found tight end Walker Lyons with 1:47 remaining in the fourth quarter to give the Cougars a 28-24 lead, putting Notre Dame's winning streak in jeopardy. The Irish drove down the field, converting a six-yard pass on fourth-and-5 to give themselves one last shot at the end zone from the 8-yard line with four seconds left. C.J. Carr's pass fell incomplete, and fans stormed the field.

Except, eagle-eyed viewers noticed that the stadium game clock clearly read 0:01 as the ball hit the turf. And the Big 12 Conference acknowledged they were right, and that Notre Dame should have had time for one last play.

"Following the Big 12's review of the final play of Saturday's Notre Dame-BYU game, it was determined that time remained on the clock when the ball hit the ground and the play was incorrectly cleared by the replay officiating crew," they explained in a statement. "The Conference will conduct a complete review of its end-of-game officiating process in advance of next week's games."

Yes, BYU may still have stopped the Irish and won the game anyway, but it was a clear officiating mistake that benefited the Cougars. It happened again the next week.

On the road at UCF, BYU found themselves locked in a tight game late in the fourth quarter against what should have been an overmatched opponent. With the game tied 24-24 and 11 seconds left, the Knights set up for a field goal attempt on third down. Kicker Will Stone's attempted was blocked without crossing the line of scrimmage, and Stone recovered it himself.

As he was tackled, his helmet came off, with the officials throwing a flag for a BYU facemask. Which they promptly picked up. Not only that, they then incorrectly applied a 10-second runoff for the helmet coming off. As rules analysts explained, that runoff is only required when the helmet coming off is the reason for the clock stoppage. But the clock also stopped because of a "legal kick down," per Terry McAulay, meaning that the runoff should not have been applied.

Instead of UCF having another opportunity at a game-winning field goal, the game went to overtime. That said, the Cougars did wind up losing in double overtime anyway, thanks in part to some less-than-beneficial officiating. As Stone made a field goal to go up 34-31, BYU's Kendall Wall was flagged for roughing the kicker. Instead of the Cougars needing just a field goal to tie the score, UCF converted the ensuing first-and-goal for a touchdown, making the two-point conversion as well.

BYU had four tries from the four-yard-line, but came up empty, and the Knights pulled off the upset. Still, there's a case to be made that the game may never have reached overtime in the first place, had the rules been correctly applied.

Well, fast-forward to BYU-Arizona State on Halloween, and it happened again. Though at least this mistake wasn't in the closing seconds of the game.

In the first quarter in Provo, Bachmeier tried to run the ball in for a touchdown from the one-yard line, but fumbled immediately after the snap. Sione Moa jumped on it, advancing it into the end zone for a touchdown. Replay review confirmed that Bachmeier had indeed fumbled, and separately confirmed that Moa had scored.

But the review team should never have allowed the touchdown to stand, because the whistle blew on the play to signal that Bachmeier had been ruled down. Once that happened, the ball could not be advanced after a fumble. Inexplicably though, they awarded the Cougars a TD anyway.

And now the Big 12 Conference has been forced to issue yet another statement that the officiating crew had made a mistake.

"Replay was incorrect in awarding a score," the statement read. "The correct ruling should have been BYU ball for a third-and-goal from the 2-yard line."

Sure, the Cougars may have punched it in from the two, but you never know in college football, and the call handed them a touchdown that should not have happened. Understandably, ASU head coach Kenny Dillingham was furious with the officiating crew at the time, and after the game.

"I was trying to argue that he does have the right to recover it post-whistle, but that's not a clear advancement, which means the ball should be at the three," he said. "Obviously, that wasn't what happened. It's not the officials' fault. Those officials don't have say in that. That's all back home."

There's little doubt that these mistakes are simply that, mistakes, and not some grand conspiracy by the Big 12 Conference to help get BYU to the College Football Playoff. But it's a sign of the seemingly growing officiating problem in college football, and yet another example of the fact that referees can, and often do, impact a game negatively. Some Cougars fans will also be quick to point out any number of calls they believe went against their team.

Normally, over the course of a season, these things even out. It's just unfortunate when there are several high-profile mistakes all happening around the same program.

BYU has yet another massive game this Saturday, as they travel up the road to play their heated rivals, the Utah Utes, in Salt Lake City. The No. 3 Utah Utes and No. 7 BYU Cougars. Just as everyone expected. And given the tight Big 12 race, with Utah 5-0, BYU 4-1 and Texas Tech 4-1, it could have tremendous implications in determining which teams will play in the conference championship game, as well as a spot in the playoff.

Hopefully we're not talking about the refs after this one.

Michael Douglas says Jack Nicholson 'has disappeared' from the Hollywood spotlight

Michael Douglas admitted his longtime friend, Jack Nicholson, has essentially "disappeared" from the spotlight.

Douglas, 82, reflected on his storied career and missed opportunities while discussing his new memoir, "One Helluva Ride."

When asked who he never had a chance to work with, Douglas noted that he "would have liked to have acted with Jack," according to The Independent.

"He's not working any more. He's well," Douglas said. "He has disappeared. I know that."

Last week, Crystal Hefner exposed secrets about the Playboy Mansion and its star-studded roster of attendees.

Hefner, 40, name-dropped one Hollywood heavy-hitter who was known for his frequent trips to the Holmby Hills home during an episode of her "After the Mansion" podcast.

"I think a lot of celebrities came because they were just curious, and others used it as their personal country club," she said.

Lorraine wrote about growing up as the daughter of somewhat controversial parents, and noted that her friend's parents were "not so keen on letting their children come over to Jack Nicholson's house."

"For the Hefners, I imagine it was nice to know that my father would never be like the other fathers, lingering a little too long after their children were dropped off, marveling, open-mouthed and fully clothed, at the way the refracted light danced on the roof of the grotto," Lorraine wrote.

She added, "I always liked the non-womanizer celebrities. They always felt more safe."

Crystal began dating Hefner when she was 21 years old. The couple got engaged in 2010 when she was 24 and the Playboy founder was 84.

She explained that during Hef's "final years," she did her best to "treat him with respect and dignity."

Crystal wanted the media mogul to "still feel like he was respected and revered all the way until the very end."

"The entire mansion existed to cater to Hef's needs, women included," she said. "He would cry during the romantic scenes of the old films and just look over at me to help him. Or maybe it was a performance to encourage me to believe his feelings were real."

Josh Jacobs' lawyers call police release of previously unreported abuse allegations 'character assassination'

The attorneys representing Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs admitted that the recently released police case file that includes new allegations of domestic abuse from years ago are threatening the running back's career, but also see it as a case of "character assassination" that is easily disproven.

That is the underlying point of a statement released Sunday afternoon by attorneys David Z. Chesnoff, Richard A. Schonfeld and Clarence F. Duchac III to the media, including OutKick and Fox News Digital.

"The three accounts are old, are hearsay, and easily disproven, yet released to the media by police without any investigation to determine whether they were accurate or contradicted by evidence," the statement reads. "Josh is answering them in detail because of the character assassination that is occurring, unfairly threatening his career."

NFL LIFTS ABUSE SUSPENSIONS ON GREEN BAY'S JOSH JACOBS AND DENVER'S JONATHON COOPER AS INVESTIGATIONS CONTINUE

The NFL said in a statement Saturday that it is reviewing the previously unreported allegations that Jacobs physically abused multiple women whose existence came to light amid the investigation into the May 23 incident that was well-chronicled.

The NFL was already investigating Jacobs for that May 23 incident in which Jacobs pleaded no contest to misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor criminal damage to property connected to a domestic incident with an ex-girlfriend in Green Bay.

Jacobs was convicted of the battery charge in September and spent six games on the commissioner’s exempt list this season. He has returned to the Packers, but the team has been among those keeping in contact with the Indianapolis Colts about trading for running back Jonathan Taylor.

The Packers would not be interested in Taylor if they expected to keep Jacobs.

Understanding this, the statement takes aim at the Hobart-Lawrence Police Department's case file release to the media.

"The file includes summaries of three telephone interviews describing events in 2021 and 2022," the statement from Jacobs' attorneys said. "Josh Jacobs denies all three accounts and has a substantial body of tangible evidence to back up his assertions.

"The police department’s released file contains only phone interviews, taken years after the fact, with no additional investigation, save for an acknowledgment that Josh did nothing wrong. Josh was not given an opportunity to present evidence to Hobart-Lawrence in response to the uncorroborated report, primarily because Hobart-Lawrence took no action related to the unsupported and stale allegations."

And then the details, according to the Jacobs side:

"One of these three women made a claim to the NFL, which reviewed it and decided no action was warranted. Josh has kept evidence that supports his accounts and the NFL’s decision. Nothing in the released file indicates that any such evidence was used or even sought. Indeed, the police report did not even present any of this information.

"Another woman made a claim in 2021, but only after Josh called the Las Vegas police to his home to report the woman for misconduct. A police report was written that day, which effectively undermined her claims. No further action was taken by any authority after she was removed from Josh’s home."

The police file, per NBC26 in Wisconsin, claims a third woman told the police that Jacobs slapped her in the face, threw her onto a bed, threw her to the floor, spit on her and grabbed her throat in January 2022.

"Josh denies any physical altercation with the third woman," the statement from Jacobs' attorneys said. "She first contacted Josh and asked to visit. She came to Las Vegas and stayed at his home. Another person was present in the house during part of her stay. She stayed there overnight and left the following evening — on her own, in a car she ordered herself. The receipt for that ride is in the police file the department released, and it is consistent with Josh’s account of how the visit ended, not hers."

It's clear the Jacobs camp understands the stakes: Their client's enduring status in the NFL.

And they want to remind everyone that charges that resulted in a trial are the only history that should matter.

"Josh took responsibility for what happened in May," the attorneys said. "He entered into an agreement with prosecutors for two misdemeanors, and he is meeting the court’s requirements."

In his two games since returning to the 5–3 Packers, Jacobs has rushed 32 times for 75 yards and a touchdown, averaging just 2.3 yards per carry. The three-time Pro Bowler has been more productive as a receiver, catching 11 passes for 68 yards and two touchdowns.

After scoring one of his touchdowns in the Packers' 27-19 win over the Carolina Panthers on Thursday, Jacobs had a controversial touchdown celebration. He insisted he wasn't making light of his recent arrest and that the celebration was instead inspired by a gospel song.

Iranian ‘ghost fleet’ filmed evading US blockade en route to China, UANI says

Small Iranian "ghost fleet" tankers are slipping past the U.S. naval blockade and smuggling sanctioned liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to China through a shadowy maritime hub off Malaysia, according to U.S. investigators who covertly filmed one of the vessels en route in September.

United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI), which conducted the months-long probe, said at least nine similar tankers carrying Iranian oil or LPG have also evaded U.S. restrictions in the Strait of Hormuz since Washington reinstated the Iranian port blockade in July.

UANI identified one of the sanctioned tankers as the SOGL. It allegedly escaped the blockade on Sept. 1 carrying approximately 500,000 barrels of Iranian LPG after collecting it at an Iranian port in August.

The vessel then traveled thousands of miles to a Malaysian offshore anchorage, where UANI filmed the vessel receiving fuel and other services offshore. The ship then traveled on to China, where the organization said it discharged its Iranian cargo.

"This tanker had loaded its Iranian LPG from Assaluyeh Port, Iran, in late August. It then breached the U.S. blockade and made its way to a Malaysian anchorage," Jemima Shelley, a senior analyst at UANI, explained.

"What this shows us is that some vessels are managing to breach the U.S. maritime blockade," Shelley said of the footage shared exclusively with Fox News Digital.

"Most vessels aren't, but since the reinstatement in mid-July, we have seen only nine small tankers being successful in their breach of the U.S. blockade and departing the Gulf of Oman laden with oil or LPG."

At the center of the operation is the Malaysian Eastern Outer Port Limits Anchorage, known as the EOPL, an offshore shipping area approximately 70 kilometers from Malaysia’s coastline.

The anchorage has become a critical staging ground for Iran’s sanctioned energy trade with China, Shelley said.

The area allows vessels to wait offshore, receive supplies and transfer cargo between tankers, providing a logistical lifeline for Iranian energy exports as American naval forces patrol waters closer to Iran.

UANI had been monitoring the SOGL before its arrival in Malaysian waters, Shelley explained.

"On September 16th, United Against Nuclear Iran chartered a supply vessel and transited 100 nautical miles into the Malaysian Eastern Outer Port Limits Anchorage," Shelley said.

"Here we witnessed firsthand the illicit activities of ghost fleet tankers, as well as some Iran-flagged cargo ships that were located in this anchorage, one of them being the SOGL."

She described the SOGL as "a Handymax small tanker that was laden with 500,000 barrels of Iranian LPG."

The U.S. maritime blockade was first imposed April 13, temporarily lifted in mid-June and reinstated July 14 after diplomatic negotiations collapsed. The operation has largely stopped Iran from exporting crude oil, depriving Tehran of a major source of revenue as the country faces intense economic pressure.

"The U.S. blockade is an overwhelming success at preventing vessels laden with Iranian oil and petrochemicals from leaving the Gulf of Oman," Shelley said.

She added that since the blockade was reinstated, "no Iranian crude oil has managed to depart and be a successful export for Iran, which is a huge economic pressure for the Iranian regime."

"It's just that there are some opportunistic small tankers that are just managing to breach the blockade."

The United States, she said, is primarily prioritizing Iranian crude and very large tankers, which often carry "two million barrels of Iranian crude."

LPG is a flammable mixture of hydrocarbons, primarily propane and butane, used for heating, cooking, transportation and industrial production.

"LPG carries a lot of risks," Shelley said. "The U.S. blockade's first course of action is to try to attempt to turn around these vessels, which is their main technique for enforcing the U.S. blockade."

"However, sometimes they do have to use military force and this would be incredibly high risk on far more volatile cargo such as LPG."

According to Shelley, the smaller vessels exploit those challenges while using tactics commonly associated with Iran’s ghost fleet.

"So what they'll do is they will turn off their AIS. They will often fly a false flag so they're completely stateless vessels," she added.

Automatic Identification System, or AIS, transponders broadcast a vessel’s identity, position and movements to other ships and maritime authorities. Switching them off can make a vessel more difficult to track.

"Often they will load, and then they will transit the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and then in the Gulf of Oman, they will conduct a ship-to-ship transfer there," Shelley said, describing it as a "very high-risk ship-to-ship transfer because it's LPG, not crude oil."

"And then the other tanker that's receiving the LPG will then transit and attempt to breach the blockade."

The overall scale remains relatively small compared with Iran’s historical energy exports.

The SOGL, identified by IMO number 9208227, was added to the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control sanctions list Oct. 8 over its alleged involvement in transporting Iranian petroleum products since 2025.

The vessel has operated under multiple flags, including the Comoros and Zimbabwe, and has been linked in sanctions records to Gravion Maritime Co.

"Most of these tankers are very emblematic of what ghost fleet tankers do and so are flying false flags, which means they're completely stateless and will have very complicated front companies running them," Shelley said.

Meanwhile, the EOPL anchorage in Malaysia — roughly a 10-day-to-two-week journey from Iran — has become an important logistical center for Iranian vessels traveling toward Chinese buyers and a "key node in Iran's oil trade to China," Shelley said.

"It is used by ghost fleet tankers, Iran-flagged tankers that will load Iranian crude and then transit eastwards from Iran all the way to this anchorage where they will often conduct ship-to-ship transfers with the final tanker bound for China."

"Often this anchorage is also used for floating storage, which is how Iran managed to survive for so long with the U.S. blockade being reinstated in July," Shelley said.

She also clarified that since the blockade has been enforced, Iranian floating storage has fallen to "zero to seven million barrels."

"So you can see how they have survived from having this offshore anchorage where illicit ghost fleet tankers have been able to wait laden with Iranian products."

UANI’s video also shows the SOGL sitting low in the water and receiving bunkering services from a smaller tanker off Malaysia, where Shelley said authorities appear to be "looking the other way."

"This is a common thing that you will see in this anchorage, because not only is this anchorage used for ship-to-ship transfers, but also these ghost fleet tankers, as well as some cargo ships in this anchorage, require various services, whether that is food, logistics or bunker fuel."

China is the dominant destination for Iranian oil and LPG, providing Tehran with a critical economic outlet despite U.S. sanctions and the naval blockade.

"For years, China has made up 80% of Iran's liquid cargo exports, and we have seen that only grow since the beginning of the Iran War. Now China is importing almost 100% of Iran's oil and LPG exports."

"It has created a system and trade that has allowed Iran to avoid sanctions, U.S. and OPEC sanctions, whilst China is able to buy highly discounted Iranian oil and LPG."

"After United Against Nuclear Iran's trip to the EOPL, interestingly, this small LPG tanker SOGL did not conduct a ship-to-ship transfer," Shelley said.

"Instead, it transited northbound into the South China Sea, where it finally discharged its Iranian LPG at Xinzhou Port in China."

The G Summer, a U.S.-sanctioned LPG carrier with a capacity of approximately 7,000 cubic meters, was also separately tracked transmitting signals from the Arabian Sea beyond the American blockade line in April, according to Bloomberg.

The vessel broadcast a message indicating it had an "all Chinese crew" aboard, while shipping analytics identified Iran as its last cargo country and Galle, Sri Lanka, as its reported destination.

Debra Muth, a Wisconsin-based naturopathic doctor, previously expressed concerns about the potential effects of artificial sweeteners on the brain's reward system.

"Okay, I have been dying to tell you this story because the last two years of my life have been absolutely fricking insane. Insane, okay?" McCarthy told her viewers. "Some of you guys already know that I’ve been dealing with mold and mycotoxin poisoning. I’ve talked about pieces of it before."

McCarthy's functional medicine doctor eventually suggested testing her for mold after observing her repeated health problems. She initially dismissed the idea because she believed her home was clean.

You’ve got the type of mold that causes seizures. If this thing crosses the blood-brain barrier, I’m going to be talking to you in hospital. You’re going to start seizing,'" McCarthy recalled the doctor telling her.

The agency reminded the public that no tip is too small.

Campbell's head and neck seemed to compress into his torso upon impact.

Campbell collapsed onto the field and did not appear to move.

It took several minutes for medical personnel to complete their regimen for moving Campbell.

On Oct. 28, a TikTok user shared a video showing a new sticker on her Carnival Cruise Line card during a recent sailing aboard the Carnival Panorama that read, "Crew love, I pre-paid my gratuities."

The passenger also showed a note that was left in her stateroom thanking her for prepaying gratuities.

So, with a majority of FSU boosters offering up their financial support if a move were to be made, school officials received a much-needed commitment to help raise the funds needed to fire the current head coach and attack the transfer portal with their backing, the decision was made to part ways with Norvell.

At the end of the day, this is still Florida State. While the name might not carry the weight that it used to, this is clearly still a national brand that can be successful in this era of college athletics.

Left-wing allies of Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed erupted Sunday after the stunning decision by Democratic Rep. Haley Stevens to endorse his Republican rival Mike Rogers.

Stevens, who narrowly lost in the Democratic primary to El-Sayed, has been critical of his unwillingness to condemn the overt antisemitism of some of his supporters. After recent barbs between the two, El-Sayed disinvited her from a campaign event meant to showcase party unity in the critical Senate race, before she then endorsed his GOP opponent in a surprising last-second decision.

Far-left streamer Hasan Piker attacked her motives in a post to X, claiming she was "weirdly obsessed with Israel."

"haley stevens is not the spokesperson for democrats, she’s not the spox for jewish people or black people," Piker said on X. "she’s a self interested striver who’s weirdly obsessed with israel and has been paid handsomely for this strange obsession. this race is about solving the affordability crisis, defending democracy, fighting back against the racialized violence all communities have faced since trump came into power and serving michigan. haley and mike rogers serve trump, and trump serves the epstein class. the choice is clear."

DEMOCRAT HALEY STEVENS ENDORSES GOP SENATE NOMINEE MIKE ROGERS AT DETROIT CHURCH

"She’s clearly a disturbed, deranged, dishonest woman (less than 48 hours ago she was swearing to the NYT she was backing Abdul)," Zeteo News' editor-in-chief Mehdi Hasan also said on X, going on to attack the Democratic establishment for putting forward a "complete traitor."

In another post agreeing with Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen accusing Stevens of being used as a "tool" for "racism and religious bigotry," Hasan said "Islamophobia" was "at the core" of her endorsement.

Hasan also questioned Democratic leaders’ support for Stevens, writing, "She's evil."

Former DNC Vice Chair David Hogg also attacked Stevens and urged Democrats to denounce the congresswoman, who has said she remains a proud Democrat.

"If you supported Haley Stevens now is your time to speak out, denounce her as the Republican she is and apologize for supporting a traitor," Hogg wrote.

ABDUL EL-SAYED PLAYS DOWN HASAN PIKER TIES AFTER STREAMER’S VIRAL ANTISEMITISM FIRESTORM

The endorsement followed a controversial ad put up by Rebellion PAC, founded by The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur, in support of El-Sayed's campaign. The ad depicted grocery shoppers blaming U.S. military support for Israel for high grocery prices. Stevens called the ad antisemitic and demanded El-Sayed condemn it. His campaign said it was not affiliated with the ad, and he subsequently said he disagreed with its contents.

Uygur defended the Rebellion PAC's advertisement before the endorsement, disputing claims that it blamed Jewish people for grocery prices. He said the spot concerned Israel and accused reporters of misrepresenting the message.

On Sunday, Uygur claimed Stevens endorsed Rogers because "her only source of power is the Israeli lobby" and "She has no popular support, just AIPAC money."

Former Obama aides and "Pod Save America" co-hosts Jon Lovett and Tommy Vietor also criticized Stevens for backing Rogers.

"So [Stevens] didn’t feel welcome at a political event, so now she doesn’t care if Democrats win the Senate," Lovett wrote. "She’s against ‘hate’ while supporting one of the most hateful campaigns in memory. She endorsed then unendorsed then endorsed then unendorsed her former rival, who she promised to unite behind, after endlessly repeating (correctly!) that Mike Rogers MUST be defeated. What an incoherent disgrace. Hope this anger drives people to do whatever they can to help [El-Sayed] win."

Vietor also wrote, "I hope folks will think about the fact that [Stevens] demanded that [El-Sayed] denounce as antisemitic an ad he was not associated with, but is now endorsing a man who called Abdul a terrorist. She is fine with bigotry and racism as long as its against the right people."

EL-SAYED DISTANCES HIMSELF FROM HASAN PIKER AFTER DISTURBING REMARKS ABOUT JEWISH AMERICANS

El-Sayed previously addressed the ad controversy, saying his campaign did not produce the Rebellion PAC advertisement and that he disagreed with its contents.

"You guys love to play the condemn game. I've already been clear that that ad was not made by me, and I do not agree with the contents of that ad," El-Sayed said in a campaign press gaggle Saturday.

The Republican National Committee welcomed Stevens’ decision. In a statement provided to Fox News Digital, RNC spokesman Hunter Lovell said the endorsement demonstrated Rogers’ appeal beyond Republican voters.

"When Congresswoman Haley Stevens, who ran against Abdul El-Sayed and knows him better than anyone, stands with Mike Rogers, Michigan should take notice," Lovell said. "Democrats who feel Abdul has abandoned them have a home with Mike, who is building a winning coalition of Democrats, Independents, and Republicans to save Michigan from El-Sayed's radical, terrorist-sympathizing agenda. The center of Michigan politics has moved, and Abdul is on the wrong side of it."

Journalist Sam Robinson asked Stevenson Sunday how she could support a candidate whose positions directly opposed hers.

"Nothing is perfect," Stevens said.

The video shows a heckler interrupting Robinson, ending the exchange.

"Stevens is a traitor," the heckler said.

Stevens’ fiancé, Jason Turkish, and former campaign chairman David Kramer had already decided to vote for Rogers, Fox News Digital reported.

The first edition of the College Football Playoff rankings will be released on November 3, marking a point in the 2026 college football season when the AP Top 25 Poll takes a back seat, but that doesn't mean we're going to start ignoring the always-controversial poll. Someone has to keep tabs on the AP voters who can't possibly watch all these games and are forced to scramble and put together a list of the best 25 teams in the country.

With just two matchups featuring ranked opponents on the Week 8 slate, nobody was expecting too many fireworks, but the one boom we did get out in Los Angeles courtesy of USC, voters made sure to overreact.

On the other side of the country, Wake Forest moved to 7-1 and continued its run of absolutely throttling opponents, but apparently, outscoring your last two opponents 92-14 doesn't matter much.

While Miami played with its food in Chapel Hill on Saturday, the Hurricanes improved to 8-0 and are the most-talented and most-explosive of the three unbeaten teams remaining, making the No. 1 next to their name completely justified.

THESE NUMBERS SHOW JUST HOW FRAUDULENT NOTRE DAME HAS BEEN DURING THE MARCUS FREEMAN ERA

Georgia did exactly what was expected of it by throttling Florida following a bye week after its inexplicable loss at home to Auburn. Then, you have Utah at No. 3, which is where we can officially start arguing, or at least begin nitpicking.

Utah is 8-0, but the Utes' 8-0 isn't as impressive as UCLA's 8-0. Utah has beaten exactly one team with a pulse, then No. 14 Houston at home, while the Bruins won on the road at then No. 13 Oregon. UCLA getting the nod for the three with Utah sliding to the four seems more sensible.

Notre Dame is a spot too high at No. 4. For starters, the Fighting Irish have lost a game unlike UCLA and Utah, and you could argue their most impressive win came in Week 1 on a neutral site against a now 5-3 Wisconsin team. Notre Dame getting a touch of bias is as inevitable as water remaining to be wet.

The Wake Forest disrespect must be stopped

The Demon Deacons embarrassed Virginia 51-7 on Saturday to move to 7-1 on the year, with their lone loss being a 13-point defeat to No. 1 Miami. Despite having lost just once, putting together a 44-point win, and possessing an offense that has outscored opponents 187-31 over the last four weeks, Wake Forest did not budge in this week's poll.

Meanwhile, Kentucky and Alabama were both on byes this past weekend, but even they managed to move up one spot compared to last week.

The reality of the situation is that Wake Forest is being penalized by its own schedule and a laughably weak ACC. With how the dominoes are falling in the conference, Wake Forest could finish the season 11-1 with its most impressive win being a road victory at Purdue in Week 2.

Yes, even above-average teams are supposed to handle Stanford, NC State, Cal and Virginia, but the way in which Wake Forest has embarrassed all four of those down-and-out squads is more impressive than the No. 14 next to its name.

USC is simply not a Top 20 team in college football

So, USC beats an Ohio State team without its starting quarterback and technically moves up THIRTEEN spots in the poll to No. 18? The same USC team that lost at Wisconsin a week ago, the same Badgers team that lost 30-0 to Iowa on Saturday? Is this the same USC team that was embarrassed at home by Oregon in Week 5 by two touchdowns?

This is your classic prisoner of the moment situation with an unranked team beating the No. 2 team in the country, but the asterisk that needs to go alongside that Buckeyes team the Trojans beat is a significant one.

Some team has to be ranked 18th in the nation; it just shouldn't be a USC team whose fanbase wanted head coach Lincoln Riley fired seven days ago after pulling off the big upset of what may have been the worst slate of games of the entire college football season.

AP voters missed out on doing something hilarious this week.

New Mexico improved to 7-1 on the year after going on the road and knocking off San Jose State on Halloween and kept a very weird streak alive.

The Lobos have scored exactly 21 points in each of their last three games, beating Hawaii 21-10, North Dakota State 21-16 and San Jose State by the same 21-16 score. New Mexico should be ranked No. 21, not No. 22, based on this scoring trend alone.

In all seriousness, Jason Eck's squad deserves some serious praise. The Lobos are 16-5 since Eck took over in 2025, which isn't bad considering the program hadn't been to a bowl game since 2016 prior to his arrival in Albuquerque.

Worst time to shop at Costco may be when you least expect it, with one day drawing the most crowds

In order to avoid large crowds and a chaotic shopping experience, customers might want to stay away from Costco on certain afternoons.

The busiest and slowest times to shop at Costco may vary by location, but Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. might be the worst time to go to the warehouse retailer, Simply Recipes reported.

"I stopped by once on a Sunday afternoon, just to see how it was, and it was crazy. Never doing that again," a Reddit user wrote in a Costco thread.

"I've learned the hard way not to shop on Sundays," another added, recalling that the line snaked all the way to the back of the store.

Shopping on Monday might make for a more peaceful experience due to fewer crowds.

However, if customers want fully stocked shelves, it might be wiser to go to Costco on a Tuesday or Wednesday, as the store’s supplies are most likely to be replenished by then, Southern Living noted.

"In my experience, having lived all over the country, Tuesdays earlier in the day seem to be the best option," one Reddit user said.

"In general, I would avoid Friday, Saturday, Sunday [and] Monday at any time," the same person added.

A different person noted that going early or late in the day, particularly on a weekday, has proven to be a smart strategy.

Lincoln Riley has confrontation with Ohio State AD, reads prepared statement to media after huge USC win

What a wild week it's been for the USC Trojans.

Just last Saturday, it seemed like the Lincoln Riley era in Los Angeles was nearing its end. SC went into Madison as a sizable favorite over the Wisconsin Badgers and laid what can only be described as, charitably, an egg. For the first time in his coaching career, a Lincoln Riley team scored just seven points in a game.

There were head-scratching coaching mistakes, including attempting a 58-yard field goal against the wind. Predictably, it did not work, setting Wisconsin up with outstanding field position and a score. The Trojans looked poorly prepared and poorly coached, with senior quarterback Jayden Maiava taking multiple atrocious intentional grounding penalties and throwing two picks, a muffed catch on a Badgers kickoff leading to a missed opportunity before halftime, not calling timeout when the SC defense was misaligned on a pivotal fourth-and-2, leading to a Wisconsin touchdown, and an incredible -17 net rushing yards.

AFTER YET ANOTHER INEXCUSABLE LOSS TO WISCONSIN, THE LINCOLN RILEY ERA AT USC LOOKS TO BE NEARING AN END

After the game, the speculation and discussion was immediate. Riley was mentally checked out in LA, was one common sentiment. USC's athletic department had already started putting together funds to potentially clear Riley's rumored $70 million buyout. And fans and analysts were putting together wish lists of potential new coaches for 2027 and beyond.

Then, Saturday happened. USC hosted the Ohio State Buckeyes, still heavily favored despite starting backup quarterback Luke Fahey. OSU has a top three defense, arguably the best player in the country in Jeremiah Smith, and a wealth of big game experience under head coach Ryan Day. And sure enough, the Trojans dominated.

Even in a college football season where parity has been more obvious than ever, it was a shocking upset. Ohio State dominated time of possession and racked up yardage thanks to some garbage time drives, but never really looked like they had much of a chance. When set up with a first-and-goal inside the 1-yard-line, the Buckeyes still couldn't get in the end zone.

USC, which has been unimpressive for most of the season, looked like a totally different team. Star freshman Trent Mosley took a screen pass on the second play of the game for a long touchdown. Mark Bowman provided the highlight of the year from a tight end, hurdling an Ohio State defender and running through tackles on a huge catch and run. And the Trojans much-maligned defense grabbed an opportune turnover, forced a fumble that was inexplicably not reviewed, and got stop after stop when they needed it.

Needless to say, a win over the number two team in the country was a season, and potentially program, altering turn of events. And Riley had a well, interesting, time after the conclusion, including a run-in with the Ohio State athletic director, and an unusual prepared statement that he read during postgame media availability.

Buckeyes staff and players were walking off the Coliseum field in the tunnel, and Riley tried to walk to the same area with his family and security guard. But an OSU staffer held him up, and after a few seconds, athletic director Ross Bjork can be seen gesturing back toward Riley and saying something toward him. Whatever it was, Riley was not happy about it, clearly saying some very profane phrases back as he was finally let through.

Another angle more clearly showed Bjork saying something indistinguishable as he left the field.

Confrontations happen, particularly after a heated game between two proud programs. Things got even a bit more unusual though, in the news conference.

LINCOLN RILEY ADDRESSES SPECULATION ABOUT HIS FUTURE AT USC AHEAD OF HUGE GAME AGAINST OHIO STATE

Riley, who already addressed speculation about his commitment to USC in a midweek news conference, saying LA is where he wants to be, read a prepared statement about his job and the Trojans program. This time, clearly with a bit more, shall we say, fesity language toward the media.

"This program is built on internal joy, not external applause," he said. "This win is for all the staff members, the players, the leaders, admin, all the people within the walls. I said before this game that I'm the right person for this job, and as long as all those people know that, that's all I care about. I appreciate being part of this university, and all it does. I appreciate our kids and our staff, and I'm going to continue to fight on because that's what being a Trojan is all about. Adios."

Not exactly what you'd expect to hear from a head coach coming off a huge win over the No. 2 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes, but it's hard to blame him for being a bit more defense than usual.

Riley's faced a long list of questions about his job status the past few weeks, but again, those questions are legitimate. USC's two losses this year were inexcusable. The Oregon Ducks are far from the team most expected in the preseason, and the Trojans defense let backup Dylan Raiola walk all over them in a 41-27 loss. That Wisconsin performance was dreadful, and looks even worse with the Badgers' 30-0 loss to Iowa on Saturday.

There have been few signature wins in the Riley era, until this one, and after an offseason marketing campaign revolving around the "championship window" now being open, sitting at 6-2 with their season on the brink is simply not good enough. But he deserves credit for the OSU win and how it played out. USC looked like a different team; prepared, focused, intense, and aggressive. Why they don't always look like that? Nobody knows.

There are more questions moving forward though, because there always are. How do the Trojans, and Riley, respond in the final three games? The schedule doesn't get easier, with a trip to play the Indiana Hoosiers in Bloomington next week, and a date with the now-No. 5 UCLA Bruins at the Rose Bowl to close out the season.

Win out, and the Trojans would almost certainly be in the College Football Playoff, boasting one of the best resumes in the country with three wins over top-5 teams. Lose two of the last three to Indiana and UCLA and finish 8-4? We might be talking about Riley's buyout and that open job at Baylor all over again.

Your walking speed may hold a clue to how long you’ll live, study suggests

The speed a person normally walks could offer a simple clue about their overall health and longevity, new research suggests.

A study published in JAMA Network Open followed 4,067 adults in the U.K., who were about 69 years old on average, to see whether their usual walking pace was linked to their risk of death over time.

Participants completed a short walking test at their normal pace and also wore a wrist activity tracker for nine days to capture their walking speed during everyday life.

Over nearly 12 years of follow-up, faster walking in both settings was linked to a lower risk of death, even after researchers accounted for other health and lifestyle factors. A total of 739 participants died during that period.

Beth Templin, a board-certified geriatric clinical specialist and CEO of HouseFit Physical Therapy & Fitness in St. Louis, said walking speed can offer a broader look at how well the body is functioning.

"In physical therapy, we call walking speed the 'sixth vital sign' because it's a snapshot of how well many body systems are working together," Templin, who was not involved in the study, told Fox News Digital.

Changes in walking speed can therefore offer clues about a person's health, according to the doctor.

"To walk briskly, you need strong legs, a healthy heart and lungs, good balance, and a brain and nervous system that can coordinate it all," she said.

"When walking speed starts to slip, it's often an early warning sign that one of those systems is declining, sometimes before anything shows up on a lab test," Templin added.

For older adults who want to improve their walking speed and overall fitness, simply taking more steps may not be enough.

"Build the engine, not just the habit," Templin advised. "Most people try to walk more, but speed comes from strength and balance."

The doctor suggested strengthening the legs with simple exercises, such as standing up from a chair without using the hands and doing heel raises while holding onto a counter.

She also recommended adding short bursts of faster walking. After warming up, a person could walk briskly for one minute, slow down for two minutes and then repeat, gradually increasing the faster periods.

The findings do not mean that simply walking faster will make someone live longer, experts noted.

"This study shows an association, not proof that walking faster by itself adds years," Templin reiterated.

The participants included in the study were generally healthier than the larger group, the researchers noted. There is also no single standard method for measuring everyday walking pace with wrist activity trackers.

More research is needed to determine whether the findings apply to other groups.
