Yankees player's pitch clock antics prompt wild hot-mic moment, backlash: 'You're picking on me'

New York Yankees infielder Jose Caballero's pitch-clock maneuvers irked multiple parties earlier this week.

On Monday night, the benches cleared against the Pittsburgh Pirates after pitcher Dennis Santana had some choice words for Caballero, and two days later, hot mics caught Caballero in a heated discussion with an umpire.

In short, Caballero has become notorious for waiting until the last possible second to make eye-contact with the pitcher, which, in the pitch-clock era, is required before a pitcher comes set or starts his windup. Batters and pitchers have until there are eight seconds left to become alert with the opponent.

Caballero did his usual on Wednesday afternoon, though, and was promptly called for a violation before striking out, despite even looking up a second earlier. Mics picked up Caballero saying that the umpire was "picking on" him. Home plate umpire Quinn Wolcott said Caballero did not "get to do the three-four seconds thing in the box anymore."

Caballero replied that he had been "doing my f—ing routine," and manager Aaron Boone said the umps were "making up rules as we go."

Manager Aaron Boone said that neither he nor anyone else on the Yankees were made aware that Caballero could potentially be called for violations. However, Wolcott cited the MLB rules, which state that maneuvers by batters "to deceive a pitcher into beginning their windup or coming to the set position" will first result in warnings before being called for pitch-clock violations.

Crew chief Adrian Johnson said Caballero has "been warned all season," prompting a change in how he is dealt with.

"He's been warned all season. We were instructed not to warn him. We were instructed to violate him. That's what it is. It's a violation," he said to a pool reporter.

So, as long as umps believe Caballero is purposely baiting pitchers, the Yankees might have a losing battle here.

Johnson also said that the violation was a result of the benches-clearing incident on Monday.

"He’s not allowed to do an inordinate amount of time looking down, trying to get the pitcher to cause a violation," Wolcott told a pool reporter. "There’s no other hitter that gets in the box, takes the amount of the time that Caballero does while looking down, not making eye contact with the pitcher. Obviously it’s caused a lot of problems in the past. It’s not going to be allowed anymore."

Boone called the umpires' decisions "embarrassing." Based on previous conversations with MLB, Boone instructed Caballero to "make sure you’re looking up at nine so that you are alert by eight."

"He actually said that they were making new rules today and it’s on me because I was deceiving or something like that to the pitcher, which doesn’t make sense," Caballero said. "I don’t know, maybe my English is so bad that I don’t understand, but deceiving kind of means that you’re trying to trick someone and I’m not trying to trick someone because I do the same thing over and over. You can check my last 50 at-bats and see if I do it the same or not, or check maybe 100 at-bats or 150."

A woman wanted in a murder case has spent weeks slipping through law enforcement's grasp, with investigators alleging a string of suspected accomplices helped keep her hidden while she remains on the run.

Isabelle Rose Johnson, 38, is wanted on charges in the killing of Jason Christopher Coulthart. A warrant for her arrest was issued on June 26, and she has been dodging detectives ever since.

The Walton County Sheriff's Office said Johnson, who is a "cunning master manipulator," has been relying on the help of others to stay incognito. Five people have been arrested in connection to the murder investigation.

She also has reportedly been giving out different names to identify herself, like "Harley, Jessica Elaine Bowman, and Denise" to different people she comes in contact with, the sheriff's office said.

As for the man she is accused of killing, Coulthart's remains were found on June 25, buried on a property in Freeport, located in Florida's Panhandle.

Men switched at birth uncover hospital mix-up after DNA test decades later

Two North Dakota men are suing a local hospital after discovering they were switched at birth nearly four decades ago, a revelation brought to light by a surprise result from a direct-to-consumer genetic test.

The men joined Fox & Friends on Thursday to discuss their journey.

The mix-up was uncovered two years ago when Kyle Bylin received an at-home DNA test as a gift. Bylin says he was shocked when the results showed no genetic match to anyone in the family that raised him.

"It was absolutely mind-blowing," Bylin told Fox & Friends. "We knew the DNA trail didn’t make sense, but to find out you’ve been switched at birth is a huge revelation."

Instead, the data pointed to a biological aunt, leading Bylin to her nephew, Jeremy Morrison. Subsequent DNA testing confirmed that Morrison and Bylin had been raised by each other’s biological families.

"[My parents] will always be my parents. A DNA test isn’t going to change 38 years of memories overnight," Morrison said.

Morrison recalled having long-standing doubts while growing up, noting that he often made light of the physical differences between himself and the woman who raised him.

"I kind of had a feeling inside that I was adopted or, you know, she stole me or something like that," Morrison said. But that doesn’t necessarily mean he’d change what happened, he added.

The emotional toll of the discovery has weighed heavily on both men as they grapple with the realization that their upbringings were altered.

The two men filed a lawsuit against Unity Medical Center alleging emotional distress caused by negligence and medical malpractice, claiming the facility robbed them of the lives they were meant to live.

Unity Medical Center denied responsibility for the incident, asserting that an internal review yielded no evidence showing hospital personnel were at fault. However, the medical center did not dispute that the swap occurred.

"We recognize the profound impact this discovery has had on them and their families," the hospital said in a statement.

"While we deeply sympathize with the men and their families, we have found no evidence to support claims that Unity Medical Center or its staff were responsible for what occurred."

Although both Bylin and Morrison have since met their respective biological parents, the two men have yet to meet each other in person.

"There are no plans in the works right now," Morrison said. "I grew up with his entire family. And he grew up with my entire family," he added, as the reason the two men "don’t feel like" they need to meet.

Despite the legal battle and the lingering disruption to their lives, both men said they are focusing on moving forward and making the best of their circumstances.

EXCLUSIVE - Far-left Democratic congressional candidate Oliver Larkin of Florida says he supports abolishing the U.S. Senate, agrees with socialist New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should be arrested during his upcoming trip to the U.S., and refers to Israel's ruling coalition as a "religious supremacist regime."

Larkin, who is challenging Democratic Rep. Jared Moskowitz in next month's Florida primary, is one of just four congressional candidates endorsed by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

The 33-year-old Larkin, a veteran of progressive champion Sen. Bernie Sanders' 2016 Democratic presidential campaign, is also the only DSA-endorsed House candidate running in one of the roughly two dozen key swing districts that will determine if Republicans hold onto their razor-thin majority in the midterm elections.

Moskowitz, who is running for re-election in Florida's newly redrawn 25th Congressional District, a Broward County-anchored seat in the southeastern corner of the red-leaning state, is heavily supported by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC). He currently holds a polling and fundraising lead over Larkin.

The face-off between Larkin and Moskowitz comes in the wake of victories by far-left and socialist candidates over more moderate contenders in deep-blue districts last month's primaries in New York City and Colorado.

The ideological battle between the left-wing and the center-left establishment to reshape the Democratic Party now moves to statewide primary showdowns in Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota early next month.

Those contests are followed by Florida's primary, where the spotlight on the burgeoning Democratic Party civil war will shine on the Moskowitz-Larkin showdown.

Larkin, in an exclusive interview this week with Fox News, spelled out where he stands on key issues.

Mamdani, in a video released on Tuesday, said that the New York Police Department would not be able to carry out an arrest warrant on Netanyahu that was issued by the International Criminal Court, the world's top war-crimes court.

But Mamdani argued the Israeli leader was a "war criminal" and urged federal authorities to arrest him.

Asked about Netanyahu, Larkin said, "We need to enforce the law, and to the degree possible, I would support the enforcement by the New York City Police Department or any other law enforcement entity in the United States to enforce that ICC warrant."

Larkin, who backs an end to all U.S. military aid to Israel, said he supports a "one-state solution with equal and democratic rights for all people...I do not support a religious supremacist regime, whether it be in Israel or Saudi Arabia, or any other country."

The continued Israeli response over the past two and a half years has resulted in more than 73,000 people being killed, according to health officials in the Palestinian territory. Israel's response to the Hamas attack has led to condemnation of the country from across the globe, including from longtime advocates for the Jewish state.

In a stunning move, nearly half of House Democrats voted this week to cut off aid to Israel, illustrating the seismic shift over the past couple of years in political support for America's longtime ally in the Middle East.

The DSA released new policy proposals this week that include scrapping the Senate and expanding the House of Representatives, which would upend the American system of government in place since 1789.

Larkin said he agrees with top DSA officials who call the Senate an "undemocratic institution."

"I do support the abolition of the Senate," Larkin told Fox News. "I live in Broward County, Florida. In South Florida, we have more people in the Miami metropolitan area than over 30 states, but you don't see a two-thirds majority of South Floridians in the United States Senate because this is an institution that is mathematically undemocratic."

Larkin charged that the Senate "privileges land over people, and it originates from a compromise with slave-owning states when the Constitution was first passed. We don't need to overturn the constitution or throw the constitution out. The founders envisioned a process through constitutional amendments where it could be amended over and over again."

Larkin criticized Moskowitz, a two-term congressman and former state lawmaker and county commissioner who served as Florida Division of Emergency Management director under GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis, for voting in favor of the Laken Riley Act and for supporting President Donald Trump's DOGE initiative.

He slammed "milquetoast neoliberal corporate Democrats like Jared Moskowitz" that he claimed failed to push through policies that Democrats voted for when they elected former President Joe Biden to the White House and boosted the party to control of Congress in 2020.

Fox News reached out to Moskowitz's re-election campaign for comment, but didn't receive a response at the time this story posted.

Larkin, in his conversation with Fox News, also made it clear that if he wins next month's primary and the general election in November, he won't be supporting House Democratic Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries of New York as speaker if the Democrats win back the majority.

TAMPA, FL - Lane Kiffin stepped off the escalator inside the Marriott hotel on Thursday morning with cameras waiting to capture his every move at SEC Media Days, certainly knowing that all eyes would be on him over at least the upcoming four hours.

Just after noon, the LSU coach was back on his private plane and headed home to Baton Rouge with the Tigers media relations department and three of his star players.

Pete Golding drops unfiltered truth on 'Ex' Lane Kiffin, and NCAA tampering: 'What have we created?'

Over the past seven months, the anticipation had been brewing for Kiffin's appearance representing LSU after leaving Ole Miss before the Rebels college football playoff run.

There had been questions about whether Lane would actually embrace some of the questions that you just knew were coming his way.

But, thanks to a 22-minute filibuster at the podium after his introduction from commissioner Greg Sankey, it was Kiffin that talked just enough to only have to field upwards of four questions from the media gathered in the grand ballroom.

And, if you haven’t seen him posting on social media since May, there's also an answer to that interesting move as well.

"Really it just started with my son, Knox, saying 'you're on social media all the time, I bet you can't get off'. If you've followed me, you know that betting me is a good way to do it," Kiffin proclaimed. "I said 'yea I can, just watch'. So, I just got off everything, don't even have the apps.

"It wasn’t a plan for very long, I just wanted to show him I could do it. I think when I look back, a lot of good things have come when I subtract things from my life."

Yes, I know that's going to be hard to believe for plenty of college football fans who were either entertained or agitated with Kiffin's vocal presence on social media. Coming off the Vanity Fair piece in which he made some interesting remarks about recruiting at Ole Miss, some wondered whether or not this was a mandate from the school itself, or his agent Jimmy Sexton.

"See, look at you Trey, already on your phone," Kiffin jokingly mentioned as he walked out of the room.

But, you just knew there would be some type of head-scratching references made during his time in Tampa, even if that did not come at the expense of Ole Miss, or on social media.

I just didn’t expect Kiffin to start discussing the Netflix special on Hulk Hogan.

'We're all going to die' is one roundabout way to apologize to Ole Miss

There have been plenty of comments made about Kiffin's departure from Ole Miss, so that story doesn’t need to be rehashed in this setting.

But, his comments about diversity problems in Oxford being a detriment to Ole Miss recruiting have not gone silent into the night.

And, as much as Kiffin would have enjoyed not having to open that can of worms in late July, the question was coming as to whether he regretted those comments to Vanity Fair.

But, in true Lane fashion, he found a way to catch everyone off-guard with an explanation about how watching a Hulk Hogan documentary opened his eyes about regret and death.

"I made a decision that I changed jobs, and as I get older and I go through things and losing both parents," Kiffin lamented. "But, you know, I watched the Hulk Hogan special. I realized something. I was, like: We're all going to die. And so some of the things that we put importance on, we worry about, and what this person says and that, really aren't going to matter.

"When I lost my dad I started thinking that. I really started thinking, when I grew up there were two people that I thought just wouldn't die... my dad and Hulk Hogan. Then I watched that special, and Hulk Hogan died too. Like, there was no way that Hulk Hogan was ever going to not wrestle and die, and he did."

Well, that quote certainly opened some eyes, and rightfully so. If there was one thing I was not expecting from the LSU coach on Thursday, it was certainly a reference to the controversial Hulk Hogan.

But, that's Lane Kiffin for you. So, is it actually surprising?

The athletic departments at both schools could sign a peace treaty on the SEC Network for the Sept. 19 game, and it still wouldn’t calm the tension between Rebel fans and the coach who tried to divert attention away from their college football playoff run.

Lane Kiffin can't stop talking about Ole Miss, even while explaining why he chose LSU over Florida

After Pete Golding stole the show on Wednesday with his authentic answers, and rant against tampering rules in college athletics, the attention shifted a bit towards Ole Miss.

While there is no denying that the collision course these two teams are on for the showdown in Oxford, it looks as though SEC commissioner Greg Sankey's words about focusing on your own school during spring meetings seem to have been taken to heart, for now.

And, the fun between both head coaches has not gone silent into the night either.

Turns out, when Golding bought Kiffin's house in Oxford, Lane still had access to the Ring security cameras at his old residence. So, when LSU's staff was keeping tabs on a recruiting trip for Ole Miss, Kiffin had a sense of calm about his demeanor.

"He can't be wherever it was at this recruit's house," Kiffin recalled telling his LSU staff. "He's on my couch, I just saw him walk in."

New details from Nancy Guthrie ransom demand revealed, 'Her life is in your hands': report

New portions of the first purported ransom note received in the Nancy Guthrie investigation have been made public after a former Arizona reporter read them on a major true crime podcast Wednesday.

Briana Whitney, who was working for the Phoenix-based AZ Family news outlet when the case broke, joined Crime Junkie host Ashley Flowers to discuss the note and a "wrench attack" theory that emerged in May.

A Crime Junkie spokesperson said the podcasters would not share copies of the text, which has not been independently verified. However, Whitney read excerpts on air:

NANCY GUTHRIE RANSOM NOTE CLAIMED THAT SHE HAD DIED, BEEN ‘BURIED WITH NATURE,’ SOURCE SAYS

"Hello Savannah, We have your mother Nancy," she began, reading from what she said was the first note sent to local media. "She is safe but scared. She will be held for ransom, and once payment is received, she will be released unharmed. We will be holding her for a maximum of seven days."

As previously conveyed by authorities, the sender gave two deadlines with increased money demands the longer it took.

"Once payment is received to the Bitcoin address below, she will be released within 12 hours of deposit to a safe drop-off location back in Tucson," Whitney read. "If the payment is not received by the last deadline on Monday the 9th at 5 p.m., she will be killed. Your mother is aware of this, and her life is in your hands."

The sender left no room for further dialogue.

The note also included details that may have only been available to investigators and the suspect at the time, including the location of Guthrie's Apple watch and details about the smashed floodlight in her backyard.

Guthrie was taken from her Tucson home in the early morning hours of Feb. 1, according to the Pima County Sheriff's Department and the FBI.

GOP firebrand moves to dissolve Congressional Black Caucus: ‘Federally sanctioned segregation’

FIRST ON FOX: A Republican firebrand is pushing legislation to abolish some of the most influential Democratic groups in Congress.

Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., introduced a resolution Thursday barring the formation of House caucuses organized around race, ethnicity or national origin.

If adopted, the measure would effectively force the dissolution of Democrat-aligned groups, including the Congressional Black Caucus, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus.

The proposal could also affect GOP-affiliated organizations, including the Black Republican Congressional Staff Association, the GOP Latino Staff Association and the Republican Asian American Staff Association.

"Race-based caucuses are not diversity. They are federally sanctioned segregation," Mace said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "You do not get to lecture America about inclusion while running an organization which checks your skin color at the door. The hypocrisy ends now."

"It is time to end taxpayer-funded discrimination in this institution," the South Carolina Republican added.

The proposal faces long odds in the Republican-controlled House, where it would likely encounter universal opposition from Democrats and some GOP lawmakers.

The resolution comes as Republicans' recent redistricting efforts in several Southern states have reduced the size of the Congressional Black Caucus by eliminating or reshaping multiple Black-majority districts represented by CBC members.

It is unclear whether Mace, who is leaving office in January, would push for a chamber-wide vote.

FCC chair suggests ABC skipping Trump's speech will factor in license renewal decision

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Brendan Carr suggested this week that ABC's recent decision to skip President Donald Trump's primetime address could factor into the network's broadcast license renewals.

ABC, along with NBC, opted not to air the speech that addressed election security and apparent vulnerabilities during the 2020 election on linear television. CNN also skipped the address, but ABC and NBC are broadcast networks regulated by the FCC, while cable channels have more flexibility.

"I was asked at the beginning of the week whether I thought broadcasters should air the president's remarks, and I said, of course they should," Carr told Fox News Digital. "And they should do so because they have an obligation at the end of the day to operate in the public interest to serve the needs of their communities. And I think making sure that people have access to significant presidential addresses is part and parcel of what all broadcasters should want to do."

While broadcast networks skipping a presidential primetime address is not unprecedented, Carr suggested that the saga might not go away anytime soon.

"There's been a lot of interest in Congress. Obviously, we got a letter from Congress asking us to investigate the decisions to do this or not do this, and we're reviewing the letter itself, at least at this point. And there's been a lot of interest in this, so we'll see where it goes," Carr said.

Carr was referring to a letter from Rep. Buddy Carter, R-Ga., to the FCC on Monday calling on the agency to review broadcast networks' decisions and whether they violated their obligation to "serve the public interest."

"Broadcasters may criticize, analyze, or fact-check the President's statements," he wrote. "However, refusing to air a major presidential address because executives disagree with its content raises serious concerns that they intended to keep Americans in the dark about potential foreign interference in our elections."

Fox News Digital reached out to ABC's parent company, Disney, for comment but did not immediately receive a response.

In additional comments to reporters on Wednesday, Carr added that the concerns over ABC not airing the speech could be brought up during ongoing investigations and proceedings on the network.

"I’m sure that there are going to be points raised in that proceeding that relate to Disney’s decision..." he said. "Again, we’re going to hold all broadcasters to the public interest obligations, and we’re always looking to make sure they do exactly that."

Carr called the licenses of eight ABC-owned stations for early renewal in April. The stations must prove they have been operating in the public interest as part of an ongoing look at Disney’s diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) practices. The Disney-owned ABC affiliates’ licenses were originally scheduled to be renewed between 2028 and 2031, but Trump’s FCC expedited the process.

On Thursday, a group of 14 conservative organizations, led by the Center for Individual Freedom (CFIF), reiterated support for Carr's deregulatory efforts in the communications sector but respectfully urged the FCC to "preserve the well-established, routine, predictable, and presumptive nature of broadcast license renewals."

"Our concern is that establishing precedents of non-routine renewal creates a powerful lever that future FCCs — including ones hostile to conservative, religious, or otherwise disfavored broadcasters — would be all too willing to pull. The surest protection against that future is to keep the renewal process predictable today," they wrote.

The FCC also launched an investigation into network talk shows like ABC's "The View" over its alleged failure to provide equal treatment for political candidates. ABC has asserted that the FCC previously recognized "The View" as a "bona fide" news program in 2002, making it an exception to equal time rules.

ABC and NBC stations owned by Sinclair Broadcasting Group did preempt the networks and aired Trump's speech.

One of NFL's fastest players has 'no power' in one injured leg, casting doubts on 2026 season

The thing Tyreek Hill is known for, aside from his off-field troubles with domestic partners, is his elite sprinter's speed. But the two surgeries he's had since dislocating his left knee in September 2025 have changed that – at least for now.

"My left leg is the one that I injured," Hill said in a YouTube video released Wednesday titled "The Cheetah Runs Again." "I have no power in my left leg at all. I'm trying to regain all the power back in my left leg," he continued.

It is obviously not optimal for an NFL wide receiver who relies on speed and quickness to be essentially operating on one leg 10 months after an injury.

That is the reason no team signed Hill this offseason despite the fact the Miami Dolphins released him after 2025 and he is a free agent.

But Hill shows his trademark optimism in the video, discussing his approach to rehabilitation and suggesting he remains hopeful for an NFL return.

"I'ma keep grinding, dog. You know?" Hill said. "My timeline looking, I ain't gonna tell you what my timeline is, but timeline looking real good right now, man."

One NFL source said Hill's timeline is to be back in the league – preferably with a team pointed toward the playoffs – before the end of this season. That would allow him to perform in the postseason.

But even that goal may be too ambitious.

"Teddy Bridgewater dislocated his knee and he missed a year-and-a-half and he's a quarterback," said Dr. David Chao, the founder of Sports Injury Central, the former team doctor of the San Diego Chargers and OutKick's sports injury expert.

"The injury was more than an ACL. It was a knee dislocation with multiple ligaments. You talk about a true orthopedic emergency. And potential for, never been reported to my knowledge, nerve damage – and is that why his leg still doesn't have power?

"This is Herculean for a quarterback to return in one year. He's a wide receiver. Not going to happen."

Hill said his recovery has required two surgeries, the latest to address an LCL issue in February.

Hill's video apparently signaled the first time he ran on his rebuilt left limb although it included nothing more than a few sprints in his backyard and work in his pool.

"My knee's like, bro. What are you doing today?" Hill said. "You know, they told me I may not be able to walk. And the dog was like, bro, we don't know what's gonna happen with your future. And now look at me."

So, Hill believes he's on course for an NFL return at some point.

But he's obviously nowhere near the end of his journey. And he clearly knows this.

"Just trying to get my explosion, and my first step," he said. "So, whenever I step back on the field, it's like none of it is missing."

This week was merely a step to get some power back into his leg.

Capitol Hill sex scandals trigger new push to redraw the line for lawmakers

Efforts to bar lawmakers from dating congressional staff are gaining momentum following multiple high-profile cases of alleged sexual misconduct on Capitol Hill.

Rep. Jeff Crank, R-Colo., introduced legislation on Tuesday that would bar members of the House of Representatives from having sexual relationships with any congressional staffers unless the House Ethics Committee determines the contact does not constitute a conflict of interest. The proposal follows a number of sexual controversies facing lawmakers such as former Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., former Rep. Tony Gonzales, R-Texas, Rep. Jimmy Gomez, D-Calif., and Sen. Ruben Gallego, D-Ariz.

A Gallego spokesperson told Fox News Digital the lawmaker supports the House bill and hopes to see Republicans who engage in relationships with staffers held accountable.

Members of Congress are already prohibited from dating their personal employees or staff serving on their committees. Crank’s proposal would expand that prohibition to all congressional staff pending approval from the ethics committee.

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, R-La., signaled that he is on board with the movement.

"I think it's inappropriate, as it would be in any workplace," Johnson told Axios on Tuesday when asked for his thoughts on relationships between representatives and staffers. "We should, at a bare minimum in Congress, have, you know, rules and traditions that are adhered to in corporate America, so that's an easy one for me."

During a press conference that same day, he endorsed establishing a new rule proposed by Rep. Lisa McClain, R-Mich., that would ban members from having sex with any congressional staffers.

"Even if a relationship is consensual, there is an inherent power imbalance that can undermine trust and create an appearance of impropriety," McClain wrote on social media. "The goal should be protecting staff and maintaining confidence in the institution."

The push among Republicans to impose new rules on workplace relationships came after the New York Post reported that Gallego had allegedly engaged in consensual sexual relationships with at least two House staffers employed by other Democratic lawmakers while he served in the House.

While the senator did not deny the allegations, he stated that he would not "engage in gossip." Gallego’s alleged sexual relationships with staff occurred before he was married.

Focus on this issue intensified in April when multiple women accused Swalwell, a longtime friend of Gallego, of unwanted sexual contact, including rape. Swalwell, who maintained his innocence but apologized for unspecified "mistakes in judgment," suspended his campaign for California governor and resigned from Congress after his accusers went public.

Gonzales, meanwhile, resigned from Congress in April after admitting to an affair with a staffer who later died by suicide. Gonzales denied that the affair contributed to her death.

Ed Harris' biggest ‘Dutton Ranch’ complaint sparked a major shakeup: report

It seems as though Ed Harris' concerns surrounding his role in "Dutton Ranch" have been met.

According to Deadline, Harris, who recently shared he didn't have the best experience filming season one of the show, was kept in the loop and was involved in picking the show's new showrunner, Benjamin Cavell, after the show's creator and former showrunner, Chad Feehan, was let go after season one.

The decision to replace Feehan was "largely related" to how Harris' character was "underutilized," Deadline claimed.

The actor recently went viral when he shared he wanted to quit the show halfway through filming the first season, because he felt "underused and inconsequential."

He continued, "Prior to signing on for it, I was talked to quite a bit about what the season was, and what my character was going to do — and that I was one of the four main characters. And that wasn't really the case."

One of the issues he mentioned was finding out a scene they filmed involving his character, veterinarian Everett McKinney, was cut from the show.

"So, there's this scene in there … I'm talking to [Beth Dutton] at the bar, and [Rip Wheeler] comes in and says, 'OK, Everett, come on, it's your turn,'" Harris said. "I walk up to the mic, and they cut it… They cut the song out. I'm going, 'F--- you, people.'"

Harris claims producers told him the musical number would have been "too 'up' for the dark ending of the episode," adding he felt that was "enough reason to say I'm voiding my contract."

He added that he took his concerns to production, but didn't mention Taylor Sheridan, the creator, writer and executive producer of "Yellowstone" and its spinoffs.

"I said, 'I'm feeling underused and inconsequential,' and they kind of went, 'Oh,'" Harris said. "I'm being told my character will have a little bit more to do [in Season 2]. I was just a little frustrated, to tell you the truth."

In the end, Harris admitted his perspective on his character changed when he watched the show, saying he thought the show was "pretty good," and that his character was still "relatively important to the story," although that wasn't how it felt while filming it.

Despite his blunt remarks, Harris remains signed on for two seasons of "Dutton Ranch," and it remains unclear whether he is seriously considering leaving the series.

"Dutton Ranch" premiered on Paramount + in May and serves as a continuation of "Yellowstone" after that show ended in December 2024.

The series picks up with fan favorites Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) as they trade Montana for South Texas, where they're determined to build a ranch — and a new life — from the ground up.

Khanna demands answers from CCP-linked company accused of undercutting US manufacturers

FIRST ON FOX – Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., sent a letter to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)-linked Fuyao Glass Industry Group Co., one of the world’s leading automotive glass manufacturers with U.S. headquarters in Ohio, demanding information on the company’s operations and finances amid allegations of labor violations.

The letter, first obtained by Fox News Digital, asks for extensive documentation of Fuyao’s business operations in the U.S., its labor practices, its ties to the CCP and more.

Khanna, the top Democrat on the House Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the U.S. and the Chinese Communist Party, cited allegations that Fuyao has been violating U.S. labor laws by, among other things, importing foreign workers to undercut American labor.

"They have serious allegations against them of suppressing prices because they're being subsidized by the Chinese Communist Party, allegedly, of bringing people into this country who are undocumented and violating our immigration laws, and then exploiting those workers and having them work long hours with little pay," Khanna told Fox News Digital.

A 2024 federal raid on Fuyao’s Ohio properties resulted in a civil asset forfeiture of $126 million that included the seizure of luxury goods, vehicles, and 12 commercial and residential properties, including what the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) described as "boarding houses" to accommodate migrant workers.

"It is alleged that many of the workers were illegally smuggled into the United States, primarily through Mexico, and encouraged to travel to the Dayton area to be employed by one of the target entities and serve as a workforce at the various factories. Most of the workers are of Chinese or Hispanic nationality. Workers allegedly lived at 'family style hotels' (boarding houses) owned by the target entities and were driven to and from work in transportation provided by the target entities," the DOJ said in a press release.

CHILL COMING FROM TRUMP’S SUMMIT WITH XI IS PROOF OF A NEW COLD WAR WITH CHINA

Among the many pieces of information Khanna requested from Fuyao was data on whether the company was being subsidized by the CCP, allowing them to undercut U.S. competitors, who he argued were being negatively affected by Fuyao’s practices.

"They are hurting. American glass manufacturers, one of them that we met on our Heartland tour in Western Pennsylvania. And they are putting American workers out of business," Khanna told Fox News Digital. "And at the same time, they are exploiting our laws. Now we have requested the findings from the Justice Department that undertook an investigation. And they still have not released the findings. And so I am going to take on myself, with the China Committee, to investigate Fuyao."

In the 2025 press release, the DOJ said a criminal investigation into Fuyao is ongoing.

Khanna also asked the company to reveal the degree to which the CCP is involved in the company's operation.

"We need to understand a lot more. I want to understand whether they're getting subsidies from the CCP. I want to understand whether any CCP government official is on their board or on their executive team," he said. "I want to understand if they're providing reports to the CCP, I want to understand if the CCP is helping them to lower prices where they can undercut American competition. And I certainly want to know if the CCP is helping them smuggle in people who are undocumented. So these are unanswered questions that we need to answer."

Like all Chinese companies, Fuyao is required to have a CCP representative in their company ranks. The company's vice president, He Shimeng, is also a CCP secretary, according to the Made In China Journal.

HOUSE REPUBLICANS MOVE TO MAKE TRUMP'S BORDER POLICIES PERMANENT

When asked if the U.S.’s southern border’s porousness under former President Joe Biden relative to the border under President Donald Trump’s administration contributed to Fuyao’s ability to import foreign workers, Khanna said that a strong border is necessary. Notably, migrant encounters at the southern border are at a 50-year low under the second Trump administration, according to the Pew Research Center.

"I've said that we need border security, and I've also been candid that we allow too many people to come in without the proper vetting in 2024," Khanna told Fox News Digital.

"I disagree with the ICE raids that are taking place very strongly, but I believe we need a secure border," he said, adding, "as an American, we should be outraged that you have a Chinese-funded company that is undercutting American jobs, potentially exploiting workers, and potentially breaking our immigration laws. So with that. That is wrong. And so I am going to make sure that we stand up for American workers and for our laws."

Fuyao was the subject of the 2019 Netflix documentary "American Factory," which captured the company’s takeover of a former General Motors plant in Moraine, Ohio, a suburb of Dayton. One of the film’s major themes was Fuyao’s million-dollar effort to crush the area’s local unions.

"Once the focus begins to shift... to the fight over an upcoming vote on unionization — with [Fuyao founder] Cao [Dewang] paying 'consultants' over a million dollars to lecture workers at length on the horrors of unions and then telling them that 'you have a voice' — the film begins to toughen considerably as it shows how corporate manipulation works," Roger Ebert critic Peter Sobczynski wrote in 2019.

The alleged union-busting is a major focus of Khanna’s inquiry.

"What is Fuyao’s reasoning for its opposition to unionization efforts at facilities in the United States?" Khanna’s letter asked.

"Has Fuyao retaliated against any whistleblower (without regard to whether the subject matter of the whistleblower allegation related to collective bargaining), including but not limited to through actions impacting employment, hours, pay, employment records, or other workplace decisions?" Khanna also queried.

In addition to requesting the comprehensive information packet from Fuyao, Khanna is also requesting an onsite visit to the company's flagship Ohio plant before Nov. 1, "so I can go in and see for myself who the workers are," he told Fox News Digital.

"Are they undocumented? Are they being exploited, what the pricing is?" he asked.

"What we have heard is they've engaged in anti-union activity," Khanna told Fox News Digital. "What we've heard is that they are working their employees long hours well beyond the 40-hour work week. What we heard is, that they're not paying overtime. What we're heard is wage theft, that they're not paying their workers an appropriate wage. So all of this is exploitive. And of course, if these are undocumented workers in certain cases, they're most vulnerable. They're totally dependent on Fuyao for their staying in America and their living."

Fuyao is one of the largest automotive glass manufacturers and suppliers in the world. The company claims to have 35% of global market share in the automotive glass trade, a number corroborated by trade publications like Bamboo Works, which pegs the number even higher at 40%. Fuyao supplies glass to global and U.S. automakers such as BMW, Volkswagen, General Motors and Ford.

Khanna said that if Fuyao did not comply with his request for information, he would be willing to subpoena the information from them as ranking member of his committee.

"We can subpoena them, if not, and I fully expect to have this as a priority when I become chair, if we win the election, but we wanna do this in a bipartisan way," he said. "They need to allow us onto the site and they need to provide this information."

He explained that he has a good relationship with committee Chairman Rep. John Moolenaar, R-Mich., and said other colleagues across the aisle have supported his efforts.

"I fully anticipate it will be bipartisan. I have a very good relationship with John Moolenaar, our chair. We share a commitment to an American industrial policy. We understand that there needs to be more investment in our communities, and we share a concern about Chinese companies coming into the auto industry or Chinese companies coming in. If they're not playing fair, I don't want Ohio to be taken over by Chinese companies that are violating our trade laws and our labor laws and our immigration laws," he said.

Khanna conceded that Trump was one of the first to raise the issue of China's unbalanced relationship with the U.S., but still criticized the president's overall policy on China, giving it a "C" when asked to grade it.

"I'd give it a 'C' because I think he was the first to sound the alarm on China, eating our lunch and taking our jobs. And he was right to sound the alarm. And so I give him credit for sounding the alarm, but he hasn't followed through. Why are we begging them for foreign investment? Why aren't we having an industrial investment bank for our people here? Why aren't we investing in our industry and ships and steel and robotics here? And in building up our manufacturing base? And then why aren't we going after companies like Fuyao, where they're clearly violating the law?" Khanna said.

Rep. Brandon Gill, R-Texas, put American Bar Association President Michelle A. Behnke in the hot seat Wednesday, repeatedly pressing her on whether the ABA's diversity principles would justify rejecting a third Black Supreme Court justice.

The tense exchange came during a House Oversight Committee Task Force on Defending Constitutional Rights and Exposing Constitutional Abuses hearing examining the ABA's role in law school accreditation. Republicans argued the organization has used its accreditation authority to advance race-conscious DEI policies throughout the legal profession, while the ABA defended its commitment to diversity, saying it strengthens the profession without supporting racial quotas.

Gill, who chairs the task force, has accused the ABA of using its accreditation power to pressure law schools into adopting race-conscious admissions policies and mandatory DEI-related coursework.

"DEI is a cancerous ideology that promotes unlawful discrimination and steals opportunities from Americans who would otherwise earn jobs and law school admissions spots on merit," Gill said ahead of the hearing.

During one of the hearing's sharpest exchanges, Gill questioned Behnke about statements on the ABA's website promoting judicial diversity. He cited the ABA's position that judges should reflect the diversity of American society, then asked whether a racially representative Supreme Court would be beneficial.

"The ABA believes that diversity in all of its forms is important," Behnke responded, but repeatedly declined to give Gill a yes-or-no answer.

Gill followed up by asking whether the Supreme Court should "roughly resemble America's racial makeup."

"The ABA does not support quotas," Behnke replied.

"I'm not asking about quotas," Gill responded. "I'm asking if it should roughly resemble America's racial makeup."

"It should represent all of what people are," Behnke said.

Gill responded by noting that two of the Court's nine justices are Black, representing roughly 22% of the Court compared with about 13% of the U.S. population, and asked whether that meant the Senate should reject a third Black nominee based solely on race.

"ABA does not support quotas," Behnke said.

Earlier in the hearing, Gill pressed Behnke over President Joe Biden's 2022 pledge to nominate the first Black woman to the Supreme Court, asking whether race had clearly been a factor in Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson's nomination.

He also asked whether Biden had improperly excluded other demographic groups from consideration.

"The ABA does not support discrimination of any sort," Behnke responded, without directly addressing Biden's selection criteria.

The ABA holds considerable sway over legal education because, in most states, graduating from an ABA-approved law school is the main way to qualify for the bar exam. While the ABA says its law school accreditation council operates independently from the broader organization, Republicans argued the two are far more connected than the ABA lets on.

Behnke defended the ABA's commitment to diversity throughout her testimony, arguing that it strengthens rather than weakens the legal profession.

"When we have diverse teams, our profession is stronger," she told lawmakers. "It enhances our ability to solve our clients' problems when we can tap into the varied experiences and perspectives of people from every background and every community."

The hearing comes as several states, including Texas, Florida, Alabama and Tennessee, have explored alternatives to relying exclusively on ABA accreditation for bar eligibility.

If anyone was worried about a lack of personality from SEC coaches this coming season, their fears were likely quelled during SEC Media Days this week.

The conference is chock full of "colorful" characters, from Lane Kiffin's hot yoga and social media trolling to guys like Kirby Smart and Pete Golding needing their own personal "beep" button.

One man who is new to the mix, at least in the SEC, is Florida head coach Jon Sumrall, and Wednesday was his chance to make a great first impression on some of the fans and media members who weren't familiar with his game.

Sumrall certainly made a splash, but when a reporter's cell phone ringer went off during his time at the podium, the 44-year-old let everyone in the room know his stance on the matter.

This was met with some rather harsh criticism for the SEC debutant, with many accusing Sumrall of putting on a "fake tough guy act" and lambasting him for calling the reporter out.

Even former Indiana and Georgia head men's basketball coach Tom Crean got in on criticizing Sumrall, perhaps thinking he was still in Athens and needing to drum up some rivalry-driven headlines.

Seeing some people lose their minds over something that's clearly a joke has been rather entertaining, and I'm sure Sumrall and the reporter had a good laugh about it afterwards, too.

You want to know how I figured out it was a joke (aside from the obvious fact that a coach wouldn't actually throw a podium at a reporter)?

Because Sumrall himself said it when addressing Crean on social media later in the evening on Wednesday.

The funniest part about all of this is that people think this is some manufactured act from Sumrall.

For obvious reasons, I've dug pretty deep into Sumrall's past as a coach, and the guy is as authentic as they come.

He's been this way the whole time, from his days as an assistant at the University of San Diego to his years as a head coach at the Group of Five level of football and now at Florida.

If you think this is some new act, you clearly haven't been paying attention.

The man skipped out on an anniversary trip to Italy to grind some extra hours of film and get some lifts in with the defense.

Sumrall is intense, likely stemming from his time as an SEC linebacker at Kentucky.

You have to be a certain kind of crazy to want to stick your facemask into a pile of bodies for 60 minutes, and Sumrall carries that mentality with him as a head coach.

His players love playing for him and the fans certainly appreciate both his authenticity as well as his crazy streak.

One high-level Florida booster I spoke to has been over the moon with the hire after getting to know Sumrall.

"I hung out with (Sumrall) on vacation in Destin on the 4th," he told OutKick. "Can confirm, what you see is what you get. He's a fantastic guy; dude's a different breed and I freakin' love it."

I can assure you he's not alone, either.

Games still need to be played, but after having a wet blanket like Billy Napier as their head coach for four years, Florida fans are ready to welcome a psycho like Sumrall to The Swamp with open arms.

If he fails to bring the Gators back to their glory years of the Urban Meyer and Steve Spurrier eras, the fans will likely sour on him. That's just the way things go.

White Sox partner faces scrutiny over gender care, drag events and DEI

When Chicago White Sox fans look past the outfield wall at Guaranteed Rate Field, they see the logo of Rush University Medical Center, the team's official healthcare partner.

What they aren't told at the concession stand is where that health system's cash actually goes: operating a pediatric gender clinic, hosting a "PRIDE Charity Drag Brunch," enforcing mandatory diversity retreats, and paying its top executive nearly $3.7 million in total compensation.

Now, White Sox fans are getting a closer look at the team's healthcare partner.

As fans head to Guaranteed Rate Field for the White Sox-Astros series, Consumers' Research is rolling out a campaign of billboards, street posters, and TV ads targeting the team's healthcare partner.

Consumer watchdog group Consumers' Research launched the "Rush Exposed" campaign, which it exclusively shared with OutKick and Fox News Digital.

Rush-White Sox partnership under fire

Rush signed a multi-year sponsorship as the White Sox's official healthcare partner, paying tens of thousands of dollars for stadium branding, game sponsorships and other marketing.

The Consumers' Research campaign directs fans to RushExposed.com, where Consumers' Research details its allegations against Rush, including its sponsorship of the Chicago White Sox, millions spent on advertising, DEI initiatives, pediatric gender transition services, and "Pride Drag Brunches."

"Rush is betraying what should be every hospital's core mission by using its time, energy, and taxpayer support to promote radical woke activism," Will Hild, executive director of Consumers’ Research, said in a statement.

"Not only does Rush have a history of prioritizing DEI, child sex-change procedures, and climate alarmism, the hospital also has a troubling history of questionable spending on non-medical initiatives completely unrelated to patient care, like its partnership with the Chicago White Sox."

Clinic funded 'drag brunches'

The campaign focuses heavily on Rush’s Affirm Center for Health, a clinic providing so-called gender-affirming services, including mental health support, for minors.

Dr. Loren S. Schechter leads Rush's gender surgery program and is also president-elect of WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health), an organization that publishes standards for transgender healthcare, including previous care for minors.

Rush previously offered gender-affirming care for minors, but in 2025 it announced it has not provided those services for patients under 18 since 2023.

Rush's internal DEI committee also organized a "PRIDE Charity Drag Brunch," with proceeds benefiting the Affirm Center.

Administrators also required hospital managers to complete "implicit bias" training while pediatric staff at Rush University Children’s Hospital attended DEI retreats covering "microaggressions" and systemic racism.

Staff layoffs follow $3.7M CEO paycheck

The campaign also points to what Consumers' Research calls a stark financial contrast.

While Rush recently laid off workers citing financial pressures, public tax filings show CEO Dr. Omar Lateef pulled in nearly $3.7 million in total compensation in FY2024, up from $2.9 million the previous year.

Beyond his salary, the nonprofit also covered Lateef’s housing allowance and membership dues at private organizations like the Economic Club of Chicago.

Even as Rush cut jobs, it continued funding White Sox sponsorships and climate initiatives, including a goal of 100 percent renewable energy by 2030 and vendor policies that weigh race and social impact.

Rush received more than $194 million in federal funding in FY2025 while maintaining its tax-exempt status.

Consumers' Research says Rush became the latest target of its national "Bad Medicine" campaign because the group believes nonprofit hospital systems are using taxpayer support and tax-exempt status to advance political ideology instead of prioritizing patient care.

Joe Rogan says ex-con guest allegedly killed man, hid dismembered remains month after podcast

Joe Rogan revealed that a former guest on his podcast allegedly murdered someone just a month after he appeared on the podcast.

During Wednesday's episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience," Rogan recalled his 2024 interview with Sheldon Johnson while discussing sociopaths with physician Zach Bush.

Johnson, an ex-con who portrayed himself as a reformed criminal justice advocate, was arrested in spring 2024 for allegedly shooting Collin Small dead in a New York City apartment before dismembering his body and stashing the remains in multiple locations. He was charged with second-degree murder.

Officers who responded to the scene first only discovered Small's headless torso, then located his dismembered feet that were in a plastic bin. His other body parts were allegedly found in Johnson's Harlem apartment.

"We had a guy in the studio that cut a guy’s head off after the podcast. He killed a guy and cut his head off," Rogan said. "He does the podcast and then afterward goes and visits this guy that apparently he had a beef with, kills him, cuts his head off, puts him in a [suitcase], like puts a wig on, and tries to escape in the hallway through the cameras."

At the time, Johnson appeared on the podcast with civil rights attorney Josh Dubin, who leads an organization focused on advocating for people who have been wrongly convicted. He was released from prison in 2019 after serving time for a series of armed robberies in 1999.

When Johnson appeared on the podcast, he was working as a client advocate for the public defender's office in Queens.

Records from the New York Department of Corrections indicated that both Johnson and Small had served time in prison, though the nature of their relationship remained unclear.

Trump threatens 'major military punishment' for Iran over future Houthi attacks

President Donald Trump warned Tuesday that the United States would hold Iran responsible for any future Houthi attacks on Saudi shipping, threatening "major military punishment" after the Iran-backed militants struck two Saudi vessels, including an oil tanker now leaking crude into the Red Sea.

Trump said the Houthis had "acted very responsibly" during the recent conflict with Iran but warned that if they attacked again, "the U.S. will hold Iran responsible" because the Houthis are a "Surrogate and/or Proxy of Iran."

The attack left the Saudi tanker Encelia, which was carrying roughly 732,000 barrels of crude oil, leaking into the Red Sea as Saudi authorities dispatched tugboats and searched for emergency response vessels.

Trump told reporters Tuesday the United States would "take care of things" if the Houthis attempted to blockade Saudi shipping. The militant group announced a naval blockade against Saudi Arabia Monday.

Trump's escalating warnings come after Axios reported Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sought and received Trump's approval before launching strikes on Houthi targets, including Sanaa International Airport.

The warnings also come as the administration expands military operations against Iran and the Houthis move beyond threatening Saudi shipping to attacking commercial vessels in the Red Sea, raising the prospect that Washington could be drawn deeper into protecting one of the world's most important maritime trade corridors.

The prospect of simultaneous disruption at the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab el-Mandeb has become one of the biggest concerns for global shipping markets: Together, the routes normally carry roughly one-third of global seaborne oil trade and serve as critical arteries for energy shipments between the Middle East, Europe and Asia, according to U.S. Energy Information Administration data.

The Houthis already have shown they can disrupt one of the world's busiest shipping corridors. Since late 2023, the group has carried out more than 190 attacks on commercial shipping, forcing major carriers to abandon the Red Sea route in favor of the far longer trip around Africa.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sought Trump's approval before launching the latest strikes against the Houthis — and that approval was granted, according to the Axios report.

The White House could not be reached for comment. The Pentagon and U.S. Central Command declined to comment.

For years, the Houthis have evolved into one of Iran's most effective regional partners, allowing Iran to pressure global commerce while avoiding a direct military confrontation with the United States or its allies. The group has repeatedly launched missiles and drones at commercial vessels transiting the Red Sea, disrupting international shipping and forcing vessels to reroute around southern Africa.

Although direct fighting between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis largely subsided following a U.N.-brokered truce in 2022, the group continued expanding its missile, drone and maritime capabilities with Iranian support. The exchange of Saudi airstrikes and Houthi missile attacks marked the most significant cross-border escalation between the two sides in roughly four years.

IRAN-BACKED TERROR PROXY HOUTHIS THREATEN FRESH ATTACKS AFTER YEMEN AIRPORT STRIKE

Bridget Toomey, a research analyst at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies think tank, said the latest escalation was driven by Saudi concerns that Iran and the Houthis were attempting to establish a dangerous new status quo by opening a direct air link between Tehran and Houthi-controlled Sanaa.

She said such flights would create an easier route for Iran to move weapons, drones and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps advisers into Yemen, posing a threat not only to Saudi Arabia but also to broader U.S. and international security interests.

"A direct air connection between Tehran and Sanaa would be a serious threat, not just to the international community, but also to Saudi Arabia," Toomey told Fox News Digital.

Rather than signaling a return to the yearslong Saudi-led intervention in Yemen, Toomey described Riyadh's response as "a measured escalation" intended to demonstrate it would not allow such an air bridge to become normalized.

That objective appeared to shape one of Saudi Arabia's most consequential strikes this week.

The Bab el-Mandeb Strait, which connects the Red Sea with the Gulf of Aden, is one of the world's busiest maritime choke points. Nearly 15% of global seaborne trade passes through the corridor each year, making it a critical route for commercial shipping and energy supplies moving between Asia and Europe.

The latest threat comes as commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz has also faced disruption amid escalating tensions between the United States and Iran. While the two waterways are separated by hundreds of miles, together they form the principal maritime corridor linking the Persian Gulf with Europe. Serious disruption to both would place additional pressure on global energy exports, increase shipping costs and deepen supply chain disruptions.

Toomey said the Houthis occupy a unique position within Iran's regional network because of where they are located.

"They're crucial to Iran's broader ability to expand the conflict," she said. "Iraqi militias or Hezbollah don't sit on a maritime choke point."

Still, she cautioned against viewing the Houthis simply as an extension of Tehran, noting that Iran's command and control over the group has historically been less direct than its relationships with some of its other proxy organizations.

Gregg Roman, executive director of the Middle East Forum, said Trump's backing of the Saudi operation and his latest warning to the Houthis point to an administration willing to support regional allies while confronting Iranian-backed groups that threaten maritime commerce.

"The Iranians are trying to project power. The president is supportive of any effort to limit that projection," Roman told Fox News Digital.

Roman said the airport strike reinforced Saudi Arabia's long-running effort to prevent Iran from establishing a direct supply corridor into Houthi-controlled Yemen.

"We're certainly not going to allow you to have any shipments to reinforce the Houthis," he said.

If the campaign continues with Washington's backing, it would place one of Iran's most strategically valuable regional partners under renewed military pressure while increasing the cost of Tehran's broader effort to project power across the Middle East.

Look at how much bigger Gonzales is than everyone else! His teammate, No. 12 (unlisted on the roster), looks like a child trying to hold him back. He stood no chance.

And then the umpire! Look at the umpire. He attempts to stand in the middle of the two, but quickly retreats. He couldn't abandon ship fast enough. He was outta there.

That's what we call a "business decision," folks. I don't blame him. Fight or flight, and he wasn't gonna win that fight.

Father turning family tragedy into every baseball fan's dream of visiting 30 MLB stadiums in 30 days

A lifelong baseball fan is living every fan's dream, but unfortunately, it is under tragic circumstances.

Jonathan St. Clair is traveling to each of the 30 MLB stadiums in as many days to spread awareness about water safety, 12 years after losing his 21-month-old son, Jasper, to drowning.

While in the care of a trusted babysitter, Jasper, St. Clair's firstborn, was taken to a home with an ungated pool and left unattended for only minutes. Doctors made every effort to save him for roughly a week, but Jasper unfortunately lost the battle.

"He had not learned how to swim and had not been to any swim lessons yet. And so, we were very, very taken aback. How come we didn’t know how dangerous water was, or how come we couldn’t put kids in swim lessons earlier?" St. Clair told Fox News Digital in a recent interview.

The interview took place before the sixth game of his trip, a night game in Toronto, after he flew from Denver to watch the Colorado Rockies.

"So, all of those things have transpired, and we’ve learned a whole lot from the community at large. Since then, we have come across not just a family like ours, but hundreds of us who are out there. And really, this campaign, what I’m doing right now, incorporates all of those people. I’m working with organizations just like ours in all 30 cities. The idea is to be able to bring awareness in the water safety and drowning prevention community that it isn’t something that can just happen to someone else. It is something that can happen to you."

Nothing will ever fix that unimaginable burden, but there has been a comfort level in meeting with families who share similar unfortunate experiences, well before this road trip was even a thought.

"I wouldn’t have been able to put one foot forward 12 years ago if it wasn’t for this group of families," St. Clair said.

St. Clair is wearing a Wave Maker Tour life jacket to each game, which initially draws some looks from fellow fans. But when they also spot his MLB cap with all 30 team logos, it becomes easier to strike up a conversation.

"It’s fun to walk around town with a life vest on because everybody, they don’t know what to ask, and then somebody will ask, and it starts the conversation. Actually, it’s been fantastic," St. Clair said.

And as for the hat?

"I feel very in touch with every team that I’m walking into because I’m not coming in as a certain fan. I’m coming in with a cause, and it’s been very well-received. It’s been so much fun."

Already a week into his trip, one father offered up his first-class seat to St. Clair, and another gave him an extra ticket to watch batting practice from behind home plate.

St. Clair, a Los Angeles Dodgers fan from Washington, said he had already been to about 10 or 11 stadiums before this trip, and he knows each one he is yet to attend, his baby should be there.

"Well, I’m a huge baseball fan. I grew up loving baseball. I played baseball. I figured one thing about this sport specifically is it starts with really young kids, as young as 3 usually even start in Little League. My son didn’t get to play the game. I know that he definitely would have," St. Clair said.

"I’ve always wanted to do all 30 baseball stadiums, but I had no concept of doing all of them in 30 days. And, of course, this last year we had a lot of drownings throughout the United States. One thing that I thought, I came up with this harebrained idea: Maybe if I do 30 ballparks in 30 days, we’ll get some recognition and get people talking about drowning prevention."

After catching the Blue Jays lose to the Tampa Bay Rays at Rogers Centre, St. Clair took a flight to Detroit on Wednesday morning to drive to Cleveland for the Guardians' game against the Minnesota Twins. He is driving back to Detroit to watch the Tigers face the Kansas City Royals.

The map is built out – and yes, St. Clair is petrified of rainouts, canceled flights, and just about anything that puts him on a detour of his 17 flights, six drives, four trains, one boat, and one bike (he was ecstatic when he remembered that Rogers Centre has a retractable roof during his rainy day in Canada).

But he likes to think the baseball gods, and his loved ones, are on his side.

"I think even though this whole campaign I’m doing is only 30 days, the bigger goal is after the 30 days, right? What has transpired? What information did we get out there? How much of an actual reach did we make? I’m really hoping that reach was big," St. Clair said.

"I opened up my feed this morning, and five people in Ohio drowned in a river, and that is not what I want to see. I want to wake up in the morning — I know we’re never going to get it to zero — but the goal is to make people aware that if they’re in those rivers and things like that, wear a life jacket. So, we’re working on it one step at a time, and this is it. Thirty days; it’s a pretty tall feat.

"I was on the phone with my wife a couple of hours ago, and she’s like, ‘How are you holding up?’ And I was like, ‘I’m pretty tired today. I’ve got three hours on two flights.’ But it’s OK. I have got so many people behind me, and this isn’t just me. I’m not doing this by myself. I have hundreds of people behind me who have helped coordinate, who are at all of the stops in each place, and they’re making my experience at each stop a real experience, not just a layover flight, so to speak."

Saquon Barkley sees 'no reason why' NFL must keep turf fields after FIFA World Cup required grass surfaces

Now that the World Cup has come and gone, NFL players may be more vocal now than ever about their preference to play on grass.

That's largely in part because out of the 11 World Cup venues in the United States, seven of them were NFL stadiums that use artificial turf — but FIFA regulations require a grass playing surface.

The NFLPA has, not so subtly, joked about rolling out the "green carpet" for soccer players this summer, and more recently, players started a social media movement saying that their safety is "#WorthTheCost."

But players, including Saquon Barkley, feel that a precedent has been set.

"I think it’s going to be hard for them to argue against that because if you’re able to do it for the World Cup, it doesn’t really make sense," Barkley told Fox News Digital in a recent interview.

Barkley did admit that he is "not as educated on it as I should be" and wants to do some more digging on the injury research between grass and turf, but he knows his own personal preference.

"I do prefer grass. I think the majority of players prefer grass. And I will say this - if the numbers show that playing on grass versus turf is better for us, then I think that’s more than enough," Barkley said.

"There’s no reason why, if you’re able to do it for the World Cup, and if that’s what we’re asking for as players, we can’t do it. I know that’s how players feel. I love playing on grass... Even when you’re practicing on turf, we hate it. We don’t like it. I’ve got to educate myself more on this topic. But if the numbers speak to what I believe they will, then there should be no reason why we shouldn’t."

Ironically, Barkley's serious injuries have come on grass, including a torn ACL in Chicago in 2020, which he admitted put him in a "sticky situation, but there’s a lot of stuff you just can’t control." His 2,000-yard campaign came in his first season with the Philadelphia Eagles, which plays its home games on grass.

Half the league’s stadiums use turf, despite NFLPA Executive Director Lloyd Howell saying that 92% of the league’s players prefer grass. The common speculation, though, is that turf is cheaper to use and easier to maintain than grass, considering the stadiums host plenty more events year-round.

It was announced late last year that each NFL team will be provided with "a library of approved and accredited NFL fields" before the 2026 season begins. Any new field will immediately have to meet those standards, and all teams will have two years to achieve them.

Both grass and synthetic turf fields will be subject to the new standards, but the NFL has no plans to require natural grass fields.

The league’s chief medical officer, Dr. Allen Sills, said there are no "statistically significant differences" in lower-extremity injuries or concussions that can be attributed to the type of playing surface or a specific surface. That is despite widespread preferences by players for grass fields and complaints about surfaces such as the one at MetLife Stadium, where the New York Giants and Jets play and where the World Cup final was held.

Shane Bieber's strong Rays splits make Toronto Blue Jays the smart first 5 innings MLB bet

A win can cure basically any frustration you have. The past few days have made me annoyed at how my baseball plays were ending up. It wasn't all bad; I split on Monday, and I won the only MLB play that I had yesterday. Tuesday's looks were not good, and I ran into some bad luck in a few other games that I put out recently. I had a nice, easy 8-0 win on the Washington Nationals yesterday, and I'm hopeful today's game will be another no-sweat contest.

The Tampa Bay Rays are among the best teams in baseball, and I think that most wouldn't have expected this to be the case. It is interesting seeing how this team has gotten it all done, considering they are not loaded with big names, and they never have one of the top payrolls. I always wonder why other teams - both big and smaller market - don't take some of the lessons from them and implement them into their own franchise.

I guess not everyone can replicate everything successfully, but whatever the Rays are doing, they replicate it seemingly year-to-year.

Today, the Rays are sending out Ian Seymour to the hill. A lot of teams have swingmen in their rotation who bounce between the bullpen and rotation. The Rays typically use "openers" for games, but Seymour seems like he is somewhere between an opener and one they actually want stretched out. He only has seven starts for the season, and you can expect him to throw around five innings and give up three runs.

He has faced the Toronto Blue Jays in a relief role this season, going four games and allowing two earned in four innings of work. Overall, Blue Jays hitters have done well against him, batting 14-for-38.

Toronto is not one of the best teams in baseball. If anything, they are among the most disappointing teams in baseball. After giving the Los Angeles Dodgers everything they could handle last year, expectations were very high. Unfortunately, they haven't come close to those expectations and are 10 games under .500.

I highly doubt they blow up the team, but they may trade away a few pieces. The most glaring issue with the team is Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who is hitting .256 (which isn't bad), but has just six homers for the year. He had nine in 2020, when they played 60 games, and just 15 in 2019, his rookie season, when he played just 123 games.

It isn't as if their pitching has been some shining star, either. They have had trouble on the mound, and that has magnified the offensive issues. Today, they bring in Shane Bieber, who is just 1-1 for the season with a 5.70 ERA and a 1.73 WHIP.

Bieber used to be one of the best arms in the game, and he is still only 31 years old, so I feel like there is more than enough time for him to regain form. He has shown flashes of it as well, including his most recent outing when he went six scoreless innings, allowing three hits, two walks, and striking out six. Rays hitters are batting just .172 against Bieber this season.

When I look at the total for this game, I want to say the over is the smarter option, but I can make a compelling case for the under.

I likely won't touch the total, but some brief notes on it: Bieber has actually thrown better at home this season, but it is just three starts, so it is a rather small sample size. He only has one game (of five) where he hasn't allowed a run. Seymour is likely to allow some runs if they let him go through the lineup twice. The Rays bullpen is better than Toronto's, so you do have to wonder a bit how long Seymour will go.

For those reasons, I'm avoiding the total. Instead, I want to take the Blue Jays through five innings. I think that Toronto should get a good shot at knocking around Seymour. I also think Bieber has shown good success against the Rays hitters. Give me Toronto through five innings.

FIRST ON FOX: President Donald Trump will return to the stage Friday to deliver remarks at the rescheduled White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, nearly three months after an armed suspect stormed the event in an alleged assassination attempt against him.

The White House exclusively confirmed to Fox News Digital the lineup of administration officials expected to attend the dinner at the Waldorf Astoria in Washington, D.C.

While much of Trump's Cabinet will attend, first lady Melania Trump, Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio will not be there. A White House spokesperson told Fox News Digital their absences are due to prior commitments.

JOURNALISTS DEMAND WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENTS' ASSOCIATION 'SPEAK TRUTH TO POWER' IN NEW DINNER WITH TRUMP

The banquet will be held at the Waldorf Astoria while the annual dinner has historically been held at the Washington Hilton. Chaos, however, broke out at this year’s banquet when an armed suspect stormed the event in what authorities say was an attempt to assassinate the president.

Weijia Jiang, president of the White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA), said the event would be a "more intimate gathering" when the new date was announced in June.

Jiang announced the rescheduled date was decided by the WHCA board in an email to association members, sharing the rescheduled event will be a more "intimate gathering."

"This dinner will not only be an opportunity to carry out our program. It will be a statement that violence has no place in American life and a free press will not be intimidated into silence. As you have all demonstrated, courage and community can and should rise above," Jiang added.
