This Dallas mansion isn't par for the course -- golfer Hunter Mahan's five-bedroom home soars like an eagle.
The 33-year-old turned pro in 2003 and has notched six wins on the PGA Tour while racking up over $30 million in career earnings. And earlier this year, the golfer aced the $1.68 million sale of his Orange County, CA, home.
Entering the $8.5 million mansion -- recently relisted with a $1 million price cut -- is "like walking into an exquisite resort and getting excited about the trip to come," says listing agent Erin Mathews with Mathews Nichols Group. "This home really grabs you."
Despite its immense size -- the home measures more than 10,000 square feet -- Mathews says it feels comfortable and cozy inside. The first floor is filled with warm accents, such as wood beam ceilings, hardwood floors, and brick archways.
Yes, the upstairs is lovely, but the lower levels are where the home truly shines. An athlete's paradise, you'll find a custom pingpong table, a golf simulator, and a half-basketball court. Want spectators? They can watch from above -- there's a window cut into the nine-car garage.
"That's the jaw-dropper," Mathews says.
