Just because New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin is selling his three-bedroom Park Ridge, NJ, condo doesn't mean he's on the way out -- or, at least, so says the New York Post. After a rough couple of seasons, the listing is sure to raise eyebrows, but sources tell the Post that Coughlin "has been looking to downsize for nearly a year."
Coughlin is in the middle of his 12th season as head coach for the Giants, most of which have been enormously successful. The team has won two Super Bowls during his tenure, overcoming long odds each time. But since winning his second Lombardi Trophy, the team has struggled, leading many to suspect Coughlin, 69, might be nearing the end of his tenure.
Whatever happens, we're sure he'll be sad to leave his $1.2 million semi-attached townhouse, which offers more than 4,000 square feet of living space, including a stunning upper-level recreation room that currently houses two billiards tables -- with plenty of footage to spare.
Speakers have been installed throughout the spacious first floor, so you can listen to your favorite tunes as you move from the enormous kitchen, with dark wood cabinetry and a generous breakfast nook, to the formal living room, which opens directly onto the deck.
Surrounded by trees, the lot feels private and secluded -- you might not even guess you're living in a townhouse.
