Four months after stepping down from his post as the general manager of the Anaheim Angels, new Mariners GM Jerry Dipoto's four bedroom home in Newport Beach, CA, is still on the market.
After a series of disputes with Angels manager Mike Scioscia, Dipoto resigned from his position as Angels GM in June. In September, the Seattle Mariners hired him as their new GM, with hopes he can end the team's 14-year postseason drought -- the longest in MLB.
It's hard to tell why his home, which has been listed for $3 million since May, hasn't sold. The 4,300-square-foot modernist home is filled with gorgeous architectural details, including the white box ceilings in the open-concept living and dining areas.
The media room features dark padded walls and wood moldings to enhance the viewing experience. The home also has three wine refrigerators.
Outdoors, the stone patio comes with a barbecue. Also, the home is just steps from the Balboa Bay Club.
