Model and TV host Leeann Tweeden's adorable Los Angeles Tudor is on the market for $1.23 million -- and if you don't want to see its gabled roof torn down for another development, now's the time to step up.
Tweeden began her career as a model before transitioning into television, appearing on shows such as "The Best Damn Sports Show Period" and "Poker After Dark."
The two-bedroom, 1,566-square-foot home has attracted a ton of interest, including some from "developers looking to tear it down," says listing agent Richard Schulman.
That would be a sad end considering the home's 90-year history and unique charm.
"It's not just a box," says Schulman, whose favorite feature in the home is the barrel ceiling in the living room. "They don't make them anymore. It's one thing to see a picture of it, but to see it in person -- it's really beautiful."
The vintage appeal isn't limited to the interior: Outside, you'll find "one of the thickest and most wonderful palm trees you've ever seen," Schulman says. This vintage beauty reaches about 3 or 4 feet in diameter.
The palm may stay, but unless a buyer appreciates this home's vintage charms, Tweeden's place might have to make way for new construction.
