Former NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb is selling the five-bedroom estate in Great Falls, VA, he bought in 2010, during his tumultuous one-year stint in Washington, DC.
The retired quarterback served 10 years with the Philadelphia Eagles -- including one Super Bowl appearance (losing to the New England Patriots) and six trips to the Pro Bowl. After spending one year each with the Redskins and the Minnesota Vikings, the signal caller retired in 2013.
Listed for $2.5 million, McNabb's custom-built home is "large and unique, but also very comfortable," says listing agent Dawn Allen Battle of Re/Max Gateway. "You don't get lost in the home."
It's easy to see why you could: Measuring more than 10,000 square feet on 1.25 acres, the home is stocked with luxury amenities. One highlight: the gigantic master bedroom featuring his-and-her bathrooms and a 500-square-foot dressing room.
You can move among the three levels by taking either the elevator or the stairs, which open to the chandelier-topped foyer or the basement, complete with a recreation, game, and media room.
