Cynthia Scurtis-Rodriguez, ex-wife of controversial MLB superstar Alex Rodriguez and mother of his two daughters, is selling her contemporary waterfront home in Miami Beach, FL, for $7.15 million.
According to property records, A-Rod's ex bought the home in 2013 for $2.87 million. Since then, the house has been extensively remodeled and 2,000 square feet of living space were added. The four-bedroom house now totals 4,535 square feet.
Located on a large lot on Palm Island and facing Biscayne Bay, the home emphasizes its waterfront views. Large windows and an open floor plan allow bay views throughout -- even the walk-in shower in the master bathroom has its own picture window. Out back is a free-form pool, covered barbecue area, and dock.
After six years of marriage, Scurtis-Rodriguez divorced the slugger in 2008, citing an " irretrievably broken" marriage. However, the two seem to be getting along now.
