FOX BUSINESS NETWORK OUTPACED CNBC IN BUSINESS DAY IN OCTOBER
FBN Delivers Five of the Leading Ten Business Programs with Total Viewers
Kudlow Reigns as Top Program In All of Business News
NEW YORK - October 28, 2026 - FOX Business Network (FBN) outpaced CNBC in business day hours in October, according to Nielsen Media Research Big Data + Panel. The network delivered five of the top ten business programs with total viewers for the month, while FBN’s Kudlow dominated as the top program in all of business news.
During business day hours, FBN led CNBC throughout the month with 194,000 viewers. Larry Kudlow’s eponymous Kudlow (4-5PM/ET; 240,000 viewers)was the top program in business news, besting the competition with a 59% advantage over CNBC’s Closing Bell. Varney & Co. (9AM-12PM/ET; 214,000 viewers) outpaced CNBC’s Squawk on the Street and placed as a top five program in all of business news. The Evening Edit (5-6PM/ET; 187,000 viewers) outperformed CNBC’s Fast Money with a 32% advantage and additionally ranked among the top five programs in all of business news.
Pre-market program, Big Money in the Morning (6-9AM/ET) saw 62,000 viewers, while The Big Money Show (12-2 PM/ET) delivered 171,000 viewers. Making Money with Charles Payne (2-3PM/ET) nabbed 156,000 viewers and Liz Claman’s The Claman Countdown (3-4PM/ET) secured 167,000 viewers. Meanwhile, Claman’s Power Players (Fridays, 7-7:30 PM/ET; 68,000 viewers) saw a 28% advantage over Shark Tank and marked the network’s 28th consecutive monthly win with total viewers in the timeslot. Barron’s Roundtable (Fridays, 7:30-8PM/ET; 65,000 viewers) also posted a 37% increase in viewers compared to September.
