Trump says he has the evangelical vote, '100 percent'

Presidential contender Donald Trump says he has the evangelical vote in his hands after former rival Ben Carson endorsed him on Friday.

Trump said Saturday that he got a call from "very strong evangelicals yesterday." They said "we were teetering on you a little bit," but "as soon as Ben Carson endorsed you, Donald, we were there," he said speaking from a rally outside of Dayton, Ohio.

"We are with you 100 percent," Trump stated to wide applause from a aircraft hangar where he was holding the rally on Saturday.

Carson, who has sway with many evangelical Christian voters, endorsed Trump on Friday. Carson recently dropped out of the presidential race to join a Christian activist organization.
