    Remembering Sen. Ted Kennedy (1932-2009)

    Immediately following his death, Americans paid tribute to the life and service of Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, the longtime Massachusetts lawmaker who served nearly 50 years in the Senate alongside 10 presidents, including brother John F. Kennedy. The liberal Democrat died at his home on Cape Cod after a yearlong struggle with brain cancer. He was 77.
