A man accused of threatening to kill Vice President Joe Biden faces a detention hearing in Hawaii on Wednesday.
U.S. Secret Service spokesman George Ogilvie says agents arrested Justin Alan Woodward on Friday. He was arrested when he arrived in Honolulu on a Delta Airlines flight from Bangkok, Thailand.
According to a criminal complaint filed in federal court, authorities allege that Woodward posted a message to the White House website threatening to kill Biden. The email address was traced to a public Wi-Fi access point in Thailand.
According to the complaint, Woodward says he's from Kansas and was discharged from the Marines in 2004 after being diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
