Following Vice President Joe Biden's decision not to run for president, Ohio Gov. John Kasich has released an ad showcasing one issue where both men agree. The web video tweeted out by the governor notes that, "When it comes to Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden and John Kasich agree."
The ad shows Clinton identifying Republicans as her top enemies during the first Democratic presidential debate before highlighting both Biden and Kasich disagreeing with Clinton's sentiment.
"I don't ever want to brag about the fact that I can't get along with people," Kasich can be seen saying. "I want to talk about putting the country back together again."
The ad closes with text reading, "Joe Biden and John Kasich agree, Hillary Clinton's enemy should not be her fellow Americans."
MSNBC personality Chris Matthews has floated the idea of Kasich, who ranks seventh in the Washington Examiner's most recent power rankings, as a potential running mate to Clinton on the Democratic ticket. But Kasich's newest salvo follows a dispute between super PACs supporting Kasich and Clinton that shows the disagreements between the two candidates will likely only heat up.
