Gov. Nikki Haley said she would be willing to "sit down and talk" with any presidential candidate that wanted to bring her on as their vice presidential candidate.
"I really haven't thought about it, and I know people in the media don't believe that," she said during an appearance on "The Today Show."
"If a candidate wanted to sit down and talk, I would sit down and talk," Haley said.
The South Carolina governor received high praise for her delivery of the Republican response to the president's State of the Union address Tuesday. Parts of her speech focused on rhetoric she said had a damaging effect on the political process.
