Donald Trump Jr. confirmed to Fox News on Friday night that he tested positive for the coronavirus earlier this week and is now under quarantine.

As cases continue to soar around the country, the president’s 42-year-old son has joined the masses in contracting the virus, though according to spokesman for Trump Jr. he was asymptomatic and following quarantine guidelines from his cabin in upstate New York.

“Don tested positive at the start of the week and has been quarantining out at his cabin since the result,” a spokesman told Fox News on Friday. “He’s been completely asymptomatic so far and is following all medically recommended COVID-19 guidelines.”

BIDEN, TRUMP VOTERS BOTH SAY MORE CORONAVIRUS RELIEF NEEDED

More than 11.8 million Americans have contracted the coronavirus since the onslaught of the pandemic that has resulted in the deaths of nearly 254,000 people in the U.S., according to Johns Hopkins University

President Trump himself was admitted to Walter Reed medical center in Maryland in early October after he and first lady Melania Trump tested positive for the coronavirus.

The president’s youngest son, Barron Trump, 14, also reportedly contracted the virus, which the president used as an example as to why schools should reopen.

"He had it for such a short period of time. I don't even think he knew he had it because they're young and their immune systems are strong and they fight it off 99.9%,” Trump said during a rally in Des Moines, Iowa on Oct 14.

"It happens. People have it, and it goes,” he added. “Get the kids back to school. We've got to get them back to school."

Trump Jr.’s announcement came just hours after Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., confirmed that he too had tested positive for coronavirus, joining the growing list of conservative political figures with positive results.

At least seven U.S. senators, including Scott, have so far tested positive for coronavirus, all of them Republicans. The House has also seen 28 members test positive, 19 of whom were Republicans, along with nine Democrats.

Also on Friday, Andrew Giuliani, the 34-year-old son of Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani, wrote on Twitter that he has tested positive for the virus.

The younger Giuliani has been working in the White House Office of Public Liaison and Intergovernmental Affairs since 2017, according to Reuters.
