CHICAGO, IL. U.S. Senate candidate Alexi Giannoulias (D) got some last minute advice on how to treat the press while voting this morning.

Asked by an older gentleman who sat down to vote the long ballot, if Alexi would like to do the same, Alexi responded "These guys (press) won't like it if I sit down." The man then replied "To hell with them!" Alexi laughed, but continued to vote standing up. Mr. Giannoulias then moved on to greet commuters at the train station, missing his republican opponent by about a minute at the same stumping grounds.
