    We Test Microsoft's New Age-Guessing Website With 10 Celebrity Photos (and 1 Pancake Portrait)

    Now that they've conquered the world of home computing, Microsoft has set out to dominate another, somewhat smaller industry: Those stupid "Guess Your Age" booths they have at carnivals and stuff. RELATED: New Website Determines Which Song You Were Conceived To How-Old.net began as a test of Microsoft's face-recognition technology, but quickly became so popular among testers that it spread like food poisoning at … well, carnivals and stuff. It works like this: Just upload a picture of yourself — or anyone, really — and wait for the "How Old Robot" to guess your age (and less impressively, your sex). And unlike the aforementioned "Guess Your Age" booths they have at amusement parks, How-Old.net is completely free — although you won't win a stuffed Pikachu doll if it's wrong. Before all you carnie-folk throw away your megaphones and head for the unemployment line, just know that the site isn't completely accurate.
