    Vanity Fair’s Best-Dressed Women of 2015, Revealed

Vanity Fair has released its annual best-dressed list, and while some were obvious picks, one royal was surprisingly excluded. PHOTOS: Vanity Fair's Best-Dressed Celebs of 2014 The lifestyle magazine, which ranks the most influential style icons internationally, crowned Samantha Cameron as the most fashionable woman in the world, just beating out pop star Taylor Swift. According to the Huffington Post, the 44-year-old wife of British Minister David Cameron made her first appearance on the coveted list back in 2010 when she was “commended for her smart, conservative style — favoring designers such as Phillip Lim, Erdem and Alexander McQueen.” Aside from their top 10 best-dressed, Vanity Fair also compiled separate lists to honor celebrities, business leaders and "originals," and even announced a royal inductee into their Hall of Fame. Speaking of royals, noticeably absent from the lists is Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, despite being favored by style experts for her personal fashions, many of which she recycles for major events. (However, the 33-year-old was featured in last year’s list.)
