MAICAO, GUAJIRA- A team constructs wooden doorway structures. They were wrapped with yellow LED electric lights, powered by a portable generator.![4_light_blurred_doors]()
MAICAO, GUAJIRA - In a symbolic manner, the doors are inviting the families that are still displaced to return to their homes.![5_messages]()
CUIDAD BOLÍVAR, BOGOTÁ- A message reads “The light illuminates this household” to be placed inside a plastic bottle and illustrate awareness of victims’ experiences.![6_botella]()
CUIDAD BOLÍVAR, BOGOTÁ- With “Litros de Luz” (Liters of light) and “El Mensaje en la Botella” (Message in a Bottle) victims were asked to place messages and small objects symbolic of their homes, in bottles for display.![7_luciernagas]()

QUIEBRA DE NARANJAL, CALDAS- Citizens light candles and recite poems in memory of victims of the war, and also in hope of a bright future for Colombia.![9_doves_of_hope]()
QUIEBRA DE NARANJAL, CALDAS- Citizens glue doves to the wall lit by the bon fire. Each dove has written on it their wishes for Colombia (love, respect, color, faith, and hope were some of the ones written).Colombia: Land of “Light” and Hope
