Well, that’s one way to ring in 18.

A barely legal display was set up on a residential lawn to celebrate Morgyn Shelton’s 18th birthday — and Twitter has been having a field day with it.

The lavish set-up consists of a giant “18th,” as well as a “Happy Birthday” banner with candles, various bows, and what appear to be cardboard balloons. The festive decorations are covered with glitter and bright colors, set against the green lawn.

"When I had ordered the birthday sign, we agreed to only get black letters," the birthday girl's mom told Fox News. "When I got home, it wasn't just black letters."

However, none of the signs is as attention-grabbing as the name of the birthday girl herself — Morgyn. The “M” and “N” in her name are a bedazzled silver, while the rest of the letters are a striking black.

Due to this interesting color choice, the display appeared to read “ORGY” at first glance to some onlookers. The prominent "18" and a decoration resembling a plus sign — together resembling the characters for "18+" — also drew some comments.

A photo of the display has since gone viral on social media, with commenters leaving sarcastic comments, or just flat-out laughing at the hilarious flub.

Apparently Morgyn Shelton was just as shocked by the sign.

Morgan's mom, meanwhile, was even more shocked by the sign. Holli Shelton told Fox News that the display wasn't even what she had ordered for her daughter's birthday in the first place.

"When I had ordered the birthday sign, we agreed to only get black letters," Holli said of her conversation with the woman who put up the sign in the yard.

"When I got home, it wasn't just black letters."

Though upset by the design, Holli said she didn't want to bother the woman she ordered it from, seeing as she "was really busy."

In the end, Holli told Fox News they left the sign up for one day -- and in that one day, it started going viral on social media.

To make matters even funnier, Holli said she just purchased that home two days before Morgyn's birthday, so her new neighbors were the first people to preview the questionable sign.

Despite the confusion, people have been reacting to the display positively, Holli said.

"All of my friends are really supportive. And Morgyn is laughing about it now. Everyone we know in our area is laughing about it."
