State Rep. Mike Lang tweeted his congratulations to Rogers, sharing a photo of the boy holding his catch, which Lang added was 47 inches long.

The family members go “fishing often,” Lang told KTXS, and Roger’s grandfather “has inspired him with the love of fishing.”
