It’s no wonder one of America’s most favorite boozers made it a double. Celebrated writer Ernest Hemingway had a thirst he couldn’t seem to quench, so when he reportedly visited a Havana-based bar called El Floridita, he would indulge in a Papa Doble or two (basically a double frozen daiquiri prepared with no sugar) to, you know, hit the spot.
