Hollywood Nation: Talk show host Wendy Williams files for divorce from husband and manager Kevin Hunter after nearly 22 years of marriage; Jeffrey Tambor gets a final farewell on Amazon's 'Transparent' as series creator Jill Soloway confirms his character will be killed off in the show's musical finale.
Wendy Williams confirmed her divorce from husband Kevin Hunter on her eponymous talk show on Monday.
The 54-year-old talk show host recognized the irony of being a gossip queen while being the subject of "Hot Topics" herself.
“It’s crazy ’cause now my business is your business,” Williams said. “It’s kind of funny. Turnabouts a fair game, I get it,” she added with a chuckle.

She began by discussing her stay in a sober house, noting that she was moving out "in just a few days, you know. It'll be Wendy on her own."
“I have to tell you, you know, I’ve been dealing with issues with addiction, alcoholism, and I have a whole new life that I planned for myself and my son,” she revealed. “Believe me you, when you lay in a room with no TV and four gray walls all day … This is my life in the sober house, it’s one of the best things, honestly, that could have ever happened to me.”

"Everybody has things in their life that they're embarrassed to share with the world, or they're frightened to share with the world, or they're not ready to share with the world," she said. "Addressing my sobriety, my addiction, head on has really helped me sort out every single compartment of my life. That's all. i have a committment to me and my son to come out of here better, stronger and faster than ever."

Williams and Hunter, 46, married in November 1997. They share son Kevin Jr., 19.
Last month, it was reported that Hunter fathered a love child with alleged mistress Sharina Hudson, with whom he's reportedly been linked for nearly a decade. Williams previously denied any marital discord.

The former radio host seemes to be enjoying the single life.
She batted her eyelashes and licked her lips at a photo of Cardi B's hunky security guard during her "Hot Topics" segment Monday.
