What began as an innocent Christmas gift guide segment for FOX 11 news anchor Lisa Breckenridge ended with her wiping out on an electric scooter and being taken away in an ambulance.

Jumping on the scooter during the segment, Breckenridge fumbled around trying to get it to start. And when she eventually got it moving, things ended hard and fast.

The scooter zipped across the studio floor and smashed right into a TV monitor. Both the scooter and Breckenridge fell to the ground.

“Oh dear, I think I’m OK,” she said, sitting up off the floor as her co-hosts ran over.

The reporter later Instagrammed a snap of herself in the back of an ambulance.

“Thanks for all your concerns. A lil mishap on live TV. At the hospital now getting checked out,” she captioned the photo.
