Another sequel is in the works for this cute 80s comedy. What is the original cast up to now?
The biggest box office hit of 1987 was this adorable comedy about three carefree bachelors confronted with an infant left on their doorstep. Based on the 1985 French movie “Trois Hommes et un Couffin” (Three Men and a Cradle), the U.S. version is the highest-grossing remake of a French film in box office history. And did you know it was directed by Leonard Nimoy?! Successful sequel “Three Men and a Little Lady” came along in 1990, and Tom Selleck’s manager has confirmed that “Three Men and a Bride” is currently in the works. Currently a regular in the series “Bored to Death” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm” (with wife Mary Steenburgen), Danson has maintained a successful career since the “Three Men” movies. Over the years, the actor has starred in “Gulliver’s Travels,” the series “Becker,” “Help Me Help You,” and “Damages.” His film credits include “Made in America” and “Getting Even with Dad.” Danson, now 62, has been married three times and has two children. Now 51, Guttenberg has appeared widely in film, TV, and theater. Although his heyday was the 80s, the actor worked through the 90s, appearing in movies like “It Takes Two” and “Tower of Terror.” He had a recurring role on series “Veronica Mars,” and starred in the 2005 TV remake of “The Poseidon Adventure.” In recent years, Guttenberg’s been involved in various film projects, including the Jessica Simpson flop, “Major Movie Star.” In 2008, the actor appeared on “Dancing with the Stars” (at left). The actor, now 79, recently announced that he will retire from acting after his final appearance, an upcoming episode of "Fringe." Since the 80s, Nimoy has had a rich career, publishing poetry and autobiographies, releasing albums, voicing characters in animated projects, directing, producing, and of course, acting. Movie credits include "Star Trek" movies (obviously), "The Pagemaster," and TV movie "Brave New World."
