    Super Bowl XLIV Commercials

Here's a sneak peek at some of the ads that made it into this year's controversial lineup.

  • Focus on the Family
Amid much controversy, CBS has set the ad lineup for Super Bowl XLIV, and will collect between $2.5 to $2.8 million per spot. A gay dating ad was rejected, as well as an ad with a gay character, while pro-life group Focus on the Family is providing the first anti-abortion spot, featuring college football star Tim Tebow and his mother, Pam. The commercial's theme theme is "Celebrate Family, Celebrate Life." Click through to see which other commercials are set to air during the big game. The Super Bowl will be played on Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Sun Life (formerly Dolphin) Stadium in Miami, Florida. (AP)

  • Coke
Pepsi isn't putting out a Super Bowl ad, so Coke has all the cola commercial time. One ad, “Sleepwalker,” portrays a man sleepwalking across Africa on a mission for a Coke. The second ad, “Hard Times,” depicts The Simpson’s Mr. Burns losing his wealth and finding happiness watching others drink Coke. The company plans to give up to $500,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and will raise half of that money through a campaign tied to Coke’s Facebook page. Facebook users can send branded virtual gifts to their friends for free, and for each gift sent, Coke will donate $1 to the Boys & Girls Club. Those who send the virtual gifts will also receive a 20-second sneak peek at one of the two Coca-Cola Super Bowl commercials. On game day, those users will also gain access to the full ads that will run during commercial breaks. Sweet.
