Carmen Electra is opening up about her troubled relationship with former NBA player Dennis Rodman.
On “Oprah: Where Are They Now?,” Electra, 42, recalls meeting Rodman, 53, in 1998 shortly after the passing of her mother.
“People couldn’t understand why I loved him because he had a reputation for being a bad boy,” she said. “What I saw in the beginning was this gentle giant that was in a lot of pain — so in a way we understood each other.”
The pair would soon marry.

The “Baywatch” and “Scary Movie” actress called their one-year marriage passionate. “When it was good, it was amazing. And when it was bad, it was the worst,” she explained.
Shortly before divorcing, Electra and Rodman were both arrested in 1999 for allegedly assaulting each other, reports TMZ. All charges were dropped.
