"Paranormal Activity 4" may have just hit the theaters, but Paramount has already announced another sequel, according to Deadline Hollywood. "Paranormal Activity 5" will come out in time for Halloween 2013.

This isn't exactly surprising news.

The Hollywood Reporter say that "Paranormal Activity 4" took in $26.5 million for its opening weekend, surpassing the opening takes for each of the previous two sequels in the series. It appears that the title is set to replace the "Saw" films as the top annual Halloween horror franchise.

In addition, Deadline Hollywood also reports that a Latino spinoff is planned and will be directed by Christopher Landon, who worked on the 2007 horror hit "Disturbia."
